There is no god but Allah, the Most Great, the Most Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne. O Allah, I hope for Your mercy, so do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye, and set right all of my affairs. There is no god but You. Glory be to You, I was indeed among the wrongdoers. Allah, Allah is my Lord; I associate nothing with Him.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed, and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You have named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by men.
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful, against what You have made unlawful, and make me independent of all others by Your bounty.
Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the dwellings, believers and Muslims. Indeed, we shall—if Allah wills—soon join you. May Allah have mercy on those who went ahead of us and those who will follow. We ask Allah for well-being for us and for you.
O Allah, Beneficial Rain
O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if You will.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do not know.
"My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance. Indeed, You are the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful."
Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise; I bear witness that there is no deity but You. I ask Your forgiveness and repent to You.
Praise be to Allah who has granted me health and spared me from what He has afflicted others with, and favored me over many of His creation.
I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed devil.
May Allah bless you, and shower His blessings upon you, and join you together in goodness.
When one of you sneezes, let him say: Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah). Then his brother or companion should say to him: Yarhamuk Allah (May Allah have mercy on you). And when he says to him Yarhamuk Allah, let him reply: Yahdikum Allah wa yuslihu balakum (May Allah guide you and rectify your affairs).
Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. O Allah, reward me for my affliction and replace it with something better.
Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us the Istikhara (prayer for guidance) in all matters just as he would teach us a chapter from the Qur'an. He would say: “If any of you is concerned about a decision, let him pray two units of prayer other than the obligatory ones and then say: O Allah, I seek Your guidance [in making a choice] by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. You have power, I have none. You know, I know not. You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter — mention the matter — is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my affairs — immediate and long-term — then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my affairs — immediate and long-term — then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and ordain for me the good wherever it may be, and make me pleased with it.”
There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, He gives life and causes death, and He is alive and does not die. In His hand is all good, and He is over all things competent. (Allah has written for him one million good deeds, erased one million sins, raised him one million degrees, and in another narration: built for him a house in Paradise). In the name of Allah, O Allah, I ask You for the good of this market and the good in it, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil in it. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from being involved in a sinful oath or a losing transaction in it.
O Allah, keep me away from my sins as You have kept the East and the West apart. O Allah, cleanse me from my sins as a white garment is cleansed from dirt. O Allah, wash away my sins with snow, water, and hail. Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise; blessed is Your Name, exalted is Your Majesty, and there is no deity but You. Allah is the Greatest, very Great, Allah is the Greatest, very Great, Allah is the Greatest, very Great. Praise be to Allah abundantly, praise be to Allah abundantly, praise be to Allah abundantly, and glory be to Allah morning and evening (three times). "I seek refuge in Allah from the devil, from his breath, his spit, and his whisper."
All praise is due to Allah who has clothed me with this (garment) and provided it for me, without any power or strength from myself.
O Allah, to You is all praise. You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its goodness, and I seek refuge in You from its evil.
