O Allah, purify my heart from all evil, O Allah, purify my heart from all that You dislike, O Allah, purify my heart from all rancor, hatred, envy, and arrogance.
O Allah, I ask You for mercy from You that guides my heart, gathers my affairs, mends my scattered state, reforms my absent matters, raises my witnessed deeds, purifies my actions, inspires my guidance, restores my intimacy, and protects me from all evil.
O Controller of the hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.
O my Lord, make me love Your obedience, so that I no longer perform it out of burden, but rather approach it as one eager, loving, and longing, so it becomes for me a delight, not a burden, a desire, not a duty, a renewed life, not a lifeless habit.
O Allah, help us to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner.
O Allah, make me among those who seek forgiveness, make me among Your righteous and devout servants, and make me among Your close allies, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, deeds that are not raised (to You), a heart that does not humble, and speech that is not heard.
O Lord, we ask You not to let our hope be in anyone but You, nor our reliance upon anyone but You, nor our trust placed in anyone but You.
O Allah, inspire me with right guidance, and protect me from the evil of myself.
