Hadiths of Tribulations and Signs of the Hour from Sahih Muslim
Zaynab bint Jahsh reported that the Prophet ﷺ woke up from his sleep saying:
“There is no god but Allah! Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near. Today, a breach has been opened in the barrier of Gog and Magog like this.”
Sufyān indicated ten with his hand.
She said:
“O Messenger of Allah, will we perish while there are righteous people among us?”
He said:
“Yes, when wickedness becomes widespread.”

Zaynab bint Jahsh — the wife of the Prophet ﷺ — said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ once came out in a state of fear, his face flushed red, and he said:
“There is no god but Allah! Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near. Today, a breach has been opened in the barrier of Gog and Magog like this.”
He then formed a circle with his thumb and the finger next to it.
She said:
I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, will we perish while there are righteous people among us?”
He said, “Yes, when wickedness becomes widespread.”
Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:

Hafṣah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported that she heard the Prophet ﷺ say:
“An army will set out to attack this House. When they reach a desert plain, the earth will swallow the middle of them.
The first of them will call out to the last of them, then they will all be swallowed, and none will be saved except one man who will inform the people about what happened to them.”

ʿĀ’ishah reported:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ moved his hands in his sleep (as if disturbed). So we said:
“O Messenger of Allah, you did something in your sleep that you never used to do.”
He said:
“It is astonishing: some people from my Ummah will head toward the Sacred House, following a man from Quraysh who has sought refuge in the House.
When they reach the desert plain of Al-Bayda’, they will be swallowed by the earth.”
We said:
“O Messenger of Allah, the road may gather many people together!”
He said:
“Yes, among them will be those who intended (to march),
those who were forced,
and travelers passing through.
They will all perish together,
but they will be resurrected according to their intentions.”

Usāmah reported that the Prophet ﷺ stood upon one of the fortified structures of Madinah, then said:
“Do you see what I see?
Indeed, I see the places where tribulations will fall among your houses,
like the falling of raindrops.”
And Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“There will be tribulations: in them the one sitting is better than the one standing;
the one standing is better than the one walking;
and the one walking is better than the one rushing toward them.
Whoever exposes himself to them will be overtaken by them.
And whoever finds a refuge from them, let him seek shelter there.”

Abu Bakrah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“There will indeed be tribulations. Then there will be a tribulation in which the one sitting is better than the one walking, and the one walking is better than the one running toward it.
So when it descends or occurs, whoever has camels should stay with his camels; whoever has sheep should stay with his sheep; and whoever has land should remain on his land.”
A man asked: “O Messenger of Allah, what about someone who has no camels, no sheep, and no land?”
He ﷺ said: “He should take his sword, strike its edge against a stone, and escape if he can escape.
O Allah, have I conveyed? O Allah, have I conveyed? O Allah, have I conveyed?”
The man asked again: “O Messenger of Allah, what if I am forced until I am taken to one of the two armies, and a man hits me with his sword or an arrow kills me?”
He ﷺ replied: “Then he will bear your sin and his own, and he will be among the people of the Fire.”

Hudhayfah reported:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and delivered a speech. He left nothing that would occur until the Hour except that he mentioned it. Some remembered it, and some forgot it. My companions here have knowledge of it. Sometimes something from it happens which I had forgotten, and when I see it, I recognize it—just as a man recognizes another man’s face after having forgotten it, then seeing him again.

And written between his eyes are the letters: K-F-R (disbeliever).”

From al-Mughīra ibn Shu‘ba who said:
No one asked the Prophet ﷺ about the Dajjal more than I did. He ﷺ said:
“What concerns you about him? He will not harm you.”
I said: O Messenger of Allah! They say that he will have with him food and rivers.
He ﷺ said:
“He is too insignificant for Allah to allow him that.”
