Surah Al-Mulk and Recommended Times for Recitation
Surah Al-Mulk is one of the Meccan surahs and has numerous spiritual and physical benefits. Islamic scholars, including Imam Abdul Aziz ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him), have provided guidance on reading this surah at specific times. One of the most recommended times is after the Isha prayer, which is a blessed time to benefit from the virtues of this noble surah.
Imam ibn Baz always recommended certain times for reciting the surah:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"There is a surah of thirty verses in the Qur’an that intercedes for its reader until their sins are forgiven; it is: ‘Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion’ (Surah Al-Mulk)."
Ibn Baz emphasized the importance of reading the surah daily, not just at specific times. However, nighttime is especially blessed and peaceful, making the period after Isha or before sleeping the most recommended.
In conclusion, according to Imam ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him), the best time to recite Surah Al-Mulk is after the Isha prayer or before sleeping. Regular recitation is recommended to gain Allah’s protection, earn great reward, and benefit from the surah’s blessings
