Tafsir (Exegesis) of Surah Al-Baqarah

The tafsir of Surah Al-Baqarah is a detailed study of the meanings and messages contained in Surah Al-Baqarah in the Qur’an.    Compiled by the scholar Al-Hafiz Ismail ibn Umar ibn Kathir Al-Qurashi Al-Dimashqi (d. 774 AH). Ibn Kathir’s tafsir is one of the most famous and widely used among people.
2. Tafsir Al-Tabari:
   Written by Imam Abu Ja‘far Muhammad ibn Jarir Al-Tabari (d. 310 AH). This tafsir is one of the oldest and most comprehensive, relying heavily on narrations and historical context.
3. Tafsir Al-Qurtubi:
   Prepared by scholar Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ahmad Al-Ansari Al-Qurtubi (d. 671 AH). This tafsir stands out for its literary and eloquent style and pays special attention to doctrinal and educational aspects.
4. Tafsir Al-Jalalayn:
   A joint tafsir by two imams, Jalaluddin Al-Mahalli (d. 864 AH) and Jalaluddin Al-Suyuti (d. 911 AH). This tafsir is known for its simplicity and clarity of expression.
