Basmala
۞ إِنَّمَاٱلسَّبِيلُعَلَىٱلَّذِينَيَسْتَـْٔذِنُونَكَوَهُمْأَغْنِيَآءُ ۚرَضُوا۟بِأَنيَكُونُوا۟مَعَٱلْخَوَالِفِوَطَبَعَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰقُلُوبِهِمْفَهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāfahumqulūbihimʿalāl-lahuwaṭabaʿal-khawālifimaʿayakūnūbi-anraḍūaghniyāuwahumyastadhinūnakaalladhīnaʿalāl-sabīluinnamā
Onlythe way (blame)(is) onthose whoask your permissionwhile they(are) richThey (are) satisfiedtobewiththose who stay behindand Allah sealedand Allah sealed[on]their heartsso they(do) notknow
9:93
يَعْتَذِرُونَإِلَيْكُمْإِذَارَجَعْتُمْإِلَيْهِمْ ۚقُللَّاتَعْتَذِرُوا۟لَننُّؤْمِنَلَكُمْقَدْنَبَّأَنَاٱللَّهُمِنْأَخْبَارِكُمْ ۚوَسَيَرَىٱللَّهُعَمَلَكُمْوَرَسُولُهُۥثُمَّتُرَدُّونَإِلَىٰعَـٰلِمِٱلْغَيْبِوَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِفَيُنَبِّئُكُمبِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāfayunabbi-ukumwal-shahādatil-ghaybiʿālimiilāturaddūnathummawarasūluhuʿamalakuml-lahuwasayarāakhbārikumminl-lahunabba-anāqadlakumnu'minalantaʿtadhirūlāqulilayhimrajaʿtumidhāilaykumyaʿtadhirūna
They will make excusesto youwhenyou (have) returnedto themSay(Do) notmake excuseneverwe will believeyouVerilyAllah (has) informed usAllah (has) informed usofyour newsand Allah will seeand Allah will seeyour deedsand His MessengerThenyou will be brought backto(the) Knower(of) the unseenand the seenthen He will inform youof whatyou used (to)do
9:94
سَيَحْلِفُونَبِٱللَّهِلَكُمْإِذَاٱنقَلَبْتُمْإِلَيْهِمْلِتُعْرِضُوا۟عَنْهُمْ ۖفَأَعْرِضُوا۟عَنْهُمْ ۖإِنَّهُمْرِجْسٌۭ ۖوَمَأْوَىٰهُمْجَهَنَّمُجَزَآءًۢبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَكْسِبُونَ
yaksibūnakānūbimājazāanjahannamuwamawāhumrij'suninnahumʿanhumfa-aʿriḍūʿanhumlituʿ'riḍūilayhiminqalabtumidhālakumbil-lahisayaḥlifūna
They will swearby Allahto youwhenyou returnedto themthat you may turn awayfrom themSo turn awayfrom themindeed, they(are) impureand their abode(is) Hella recompensefor whatthey used (to)earn
9:95
يَحْلِفُونَلَكُمْلِتَرْضَوْا۟عَنْهُمْ ۖفَإِنتَرْضَوْا۟عَنْهُمْفَإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايَرْضَىٰعَنِٱلْقَوْمِٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ
l-fāsiqīnal-qawmiʿaniyarḍālāl-lahafa-innaʿanhumtarḍawfa-inʿanhumlitarḍawlakumyaḥlifūna
They swearto youthat you may be pleasedwith themBut ifyou are pleasedwith themthen indeedAllah(is) not pleased(is) not pleasedwiththe people(who are) defiantly disobedient
9:96
ٱلْأَعْرَابُأَشَدُّكُفْرًۭاوَنِفَاقًۭاوَأَجْدَرُأَلَّايَعْلَمُوا۟حُدُودَمَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰرَسُولِهِۦ ۗوَٱللَّهُعَلِيمٌحَكِيمٌۭ
ḥakīmunʿalīmunwal-lahurasūlihiʿalāl-lahuanzalamāḥudūdayaʿlamūallāwa-ajdaruwanifāqankuf'ranashaddual-aʿrābu
The bedouins(are) stronger(in) disbeliefand hypocrisyand more likelythat notthey know(the) limits(of) whatAllah (has) revealedAllah (has) revealedtoHis MessengerAnd Allah(is) All-KnowerAll-Wise
9:97
وَمِنَٱلْأَعْرَابِمَنيَتَّخِذُمَايُنفِقُمَغْرَمًۭاوَيَتَرَبَّصُبِكُمُٱلدَّوَآئِرَ ۚعَلَيْهِمْدَآئِرَةُٱلسَّوْءِ ۗوَٱللَّهُسَمِيعٌعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunsamīʿunwal-lahul-sawidāiratuʿalayhiml-dawāirabikumuwayatarabbaṣumaghramanyunfiqumāyattakhidhumanl-aʿrābiwamina
And amongthe bedouins(is he) whotakeswhathe spends(as) a lossand he awaitsfor youthe turns (of misfortune)Upon them(will be) the turn(of) the evilAnd Allah(is) All-HearerAll-Knower
9:98
وَمِنَٱلْأَعْرَابِمَنيُؤْمِنُبِٱللَّهِوَٱلْيَوْمِٱلْـَٔاخِرِوَيَتَّخِذُمَايُنفِقُقُرُبَـٰتٍعِندَٱللَّهِوَصَلَوَٰتِٱلرَّسُولِ ۚأَلَآإِنَّهَاقُرْبَةٌۭلَّهُمْ ۚسَيُدْخِلُهُمُٱللَّهُفِىرَحْمَتِهِۦٓ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunghafūrunl-lahainnaraḥmatihifīl-lahusayud'khiluhumulahumqur'batuninnahāalāl-rasūliwaṣalawātil-lahiʿindaqurubātinyunfiqumāwayattakhidhul-ākhiriwal-yawmibil-lahiyu'minumanl-aʿrābiwamina
But amongthe bedouins(is he) whobelievesin Allahand the Daythe Lastand takeswhathe spends(as) means of nearnesswithAllahand blessings(of) the MessengerBeholdIndeed, it(is) a means of nearnessfor themAllah will admit themAllah will admit themtoHis MercyIndeedAllah(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
9:99
وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَٱلْأَوَّلُونَمِنَٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَوَٱلْأَنصَارِوَٱلَّذِينَٱتَّبَعُوهُمبِإِحْسَـٰنٍۢرَّضِىَٱللَّهُعَنْهُمْوَرَضُوا۟عَنْهُوَأَعَدَّلَهُمْجَنَّـٰتٍۢتَجْرِىتَحْتَهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَآأَبَدًۭا ۚذَٰلِكَٱلْفَوْزُٱلْعَظِيمُ
l-ʿaẓīmul-fawzudhālikaabadanfīhākhālidīnal-anhārutaḥtahātajrījannātinlahumwa-aʿaddaʿanhuwaraḍūʿanhuml-lahuraḍiyabi-iḥ'sāninittabaʿūhumwa-alladhīnawal-anṣāril-muhājirīnaminal-awalūnawal-sābiqūna
And the forerunnersthe firstamongthe emigrantsand the helpersand those whofollowed themin righteousnessAllah is pleasedAllah is pleasedwith themand they are pleasedwith HimAnd He has preparedfor themGardensflowsunderneath itthe riverswill abidein itforeverThat(is) the successthe great
9:100
وَمِمَّنْحَوْلَكُممِّنَٱلْأَعْرَابِمُنَـٰفِقُونَ ۖوَمِنْأَهْلِٱلْمَدِينَةِ ۖمَرَدُوا۟عَلَىٱلنِّفَاقِلَاتَعْلَمُهُمْ ۖنَحْنُنَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚسَنُعَذِّبُهُممَّرَّتَيْنِثُمَّيُرَدُّونَإِلَىٰعَذَابٍعَظِيمٍۢ
ʿaẓīminʿadhābinilāyuraddūnathummamarrataynisanuʿadhibuhumnaʿlamuhumnaḥnutaʿlamuhumlāl-nifāqiʿalāmaradūl-madīnatiahliwaminmunāfiqūnal-aʿrābiminaḥawlakumwamimman
And among thosearound youofthe bedouins(are) hypocritesand (also) frompeople(of) the MadinahThey persistinthe hypocrisynotyou know themWe[We] know themWe will punish themtwicethenthey will be returnedtoa punishmentgreat
9:101
وَءَاخَرُونَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟بِذُنُوبِهِمْخَلَطُوا۟عَمَلًۭاصَـٰلِحًۭاوَءَاخَرَسَيِّئًاعَسَىٱللَّهُأَنيَتُوبَعَلَيْهِمْ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌ
raḥīmunghafūrunl-lahainnaʿalayhimyatūbaanl-lahuʿasāsayyi-anwaākharaṣāliḥanʿamalankhalaṭūbidhunūbihimiʿ'tarafūwaākharūna
And others(who have) acknowledgedtheir sinsThey had mixeda deedrighteous(with) other(that was) evilPerhapsAllah[that]will turn (in mercy)to themIndeedAllah(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
9:102
خُذْمِنْأَمْوَٰلِهِمْصَدَقَةًۭتُطَهِّرُهُمْوَتُزَكِّيهِمبِهَاوَصَلِّعَلَيْهِمْ ۖإِنَّصَلَوٰتَكَسَكَنٌۭلَّهُمْ ۗوَٱللَّهُسَمِيعٌعَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmunsamīʿunwal-lahulahumsakanunṣalatakainnaʿalayhimwaṣallibihāwatuzakkīhimtuṭahhiruhumṣadaqatanamwālihimminkhudh
Takefromtheir wealtha charitypurifying themand cause them increaseby itand bless[upon] themIndeedyour blessings(are a) reassurancefor themAnd Allah(is) All-HearerAll-Knower
9:103
أَلَمْيَعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَهُوَيَقْبَلُٱلتَّوْبَةَعَنْعِبَادِهِۦوَيَأْخُذُٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِوَأَنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلتَّوَّابُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-tawābuhuwal-lahawa-annal-ṣadaqātiwayakhudhuʿibādihiʿanl-tawbatayaqbaluhuwal-lahaannayaʿlamūalam
Do notthey knowthatAllah(is) He(Who) acceptsthe repentancefromHis slavesand takesthe charitiesand thatAllahHe(is) the Acceptor of repentancethe Most Merciful
9:104
وَقُلِٱعْمَلُوا۟فَسَيَرَىٱللَّهُعَمَلَكُمْوَرَسُولُهُۥوَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۖوَسَتُرَدُّونَإِلَىٰعَـٰلِمِٱلْغَيْبِوَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِفَيُنَبِّئُكُمبِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāfayunabbi-ukumwal-shahādatil-ghaybiʿālimiilāwasaturaddūnawal-mu'minūnawarasūluhuʿamalakuml-lahufasayarāiʿ'malūwaquli
And sayDothen Allah will seethen Allah will seeyour deedand His Messengerand the believersAnd you will be brought backto(the) Knower(of) the unseenand the seenthen He will inform youof whatyou used (to)do
9:105
وَءَاخَرُونَمُرْجَوْنَلِأَمْرِٱللَّهِإِمَّايُعَذِّبُهُمْوَإِمَّايَتُوبُعَلَيْهِمْ ۗوَٱللَّهُعَلِيمٌحَكِيمٌۭ
ḥakīmunʿalīmunwal-lahuʿalayhimyatūbuwa-immāyuʿadhibuhumimmāl-lahili-amrimur'jawnawaākharūna
And othersdeferredfor the Command of Allah for the Command of Allah whetherHe will punish themorHe will turn (in mercy)to themAnd Allah(is) All-KnowerAll-Wise
9:106
وَٱلَّذِينَٱتَّخَذُوا۟مَسْجِدًۭاضِرَارًۭاوَكُفْرًۭاوَتَفْرِيقًۢابَيْنَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَوَإِرْصَادًۭالِّمَنْحَارَبَٱللَّهَوَرَسُولَهُۥمِنقَبْلُ ۚوَلَيَحْلِفُنَّإِنْأَرَدْنَآإِلَّاٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۖوَٱللَّهُيَشْهَدُإِنَّهُمْلَكَـٰذِبُونَ
lakādhibūnainnahumyashhaduwal-lahul-ḥus'nāillāaradnāinwalayaḥlifunnaqabluminwarasūlahul-lahaḥārabalimanwa-ir'ṣādanl-mu'minīnabaynawatafrīqanwakuf'ranḍirāranmasjidanittakhadhūwa-alladhīna
And those whotakea masjid(for causing) harmand (for) disbeliefand (for) divisionamongthe believersand (as) a stationfor whoeverwarred(against) Allahand His MessengerbeforebeforeAnd surely they will swearNotwe wishexceptthe goodBut Allahbears witnessindeed, they(are) surely liars
9:107
لَاتَقُمْفِيهِأَبَدًۭا ۚلَّمَسْجِدٌأُسِّسَعَلَىٱلتَّقْوَىٰمِنْأَوَّلِيَوْمٍأَحَقُّأَنتَقُومَفِيهِ ۚفِيهِرِجَالٌۭيُحِبُّونَأَنيَتَطَهَّرُوا۟ ۚوَٱللَّهُيُحِبُّٱلْمُطَّهِّرِينَ
l-muṭahirīnayuḥibbuwal-lahuyataṭahharūanyuḥibbūnarijālunfīhifīhitaqūmaanaḥaqquyawminawwaliminl-taqwāʿalāussisalamasjidunabadanfīhitaqumlā
(Do) notstandin iteverA masjidfoundedonthe righteousnessfrom(the) firstday(is) more worthythatyou standin itWithin it(are) menwho lovetopurify themselvesand Allahlovesthe ones who purify themselves
9:108
أَفَمَنْأَسَّسَبُنْيَـٰنَهُۥعَلَىٰتَقْوَىٰمِنَٱللَّهِوَرِضْوَٰنٍخَيْرٌأَممَّنْأَسَّسَبُنْيَـٰنَهُۥعَلَىٰشَفَاجُرُفٍهَارٍۢفَٱنْهَارَبِهِۦفِىنَارِجَهَنَّمَ ۗوَٱللَّهُلَايَهْدِىٱلْقَوْمَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnal-qawmayahdīlāwal-lahujahannamanārifībihifa-in'hārahārinjurufinshafāʿalābun'yānahuassasamanamkhayrunwariḍ'wāninl-lahiminataqwāʿalābun'yānahuassasaafaman
Then is (one) whofoundedhis buildingonrighteousnessfromAllahand (His) pleasurebetteror(one) whofoundedhis buildingonedge(of) a cliff(about to) collapseso it collapsedwith himin(the) Fire(of) HellAnd Allah(does) notguidethe wrongdoing peoplethe wrongdoing people
9:109
لَايَزَالُبُنْيَـٰنُهُمُٱلَّذِىبَنَوْا۟رِيبَةًۭفِىقُلُوبِهِمْإِلَّآأَنتَقَطَّعَقُلُوبُهُمْ ۗوَٱللَّهُعَلِيمٌحَكِيمٌ
ḥakīmunʿalīmunwal-lahuqulūbuhumtaqaṭṭaʿaanillāqulūbihimfīrībatanbanawalladhībun'yānuhumuyazālulā
Not(will) ceasetheir buildingwhichthey builta (cause of) doubtintheir heartsexceptthat(are) cut into piecestheir heartsAnd Allah(is) All-KnowerAll-Wise
9:110
۞ إِنَّٱللَّهَٱشْتَرَىٰمِنَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَأَنفُسَهُمْوَأَمْوَٰلَهُمبِأَنَّلَهُمُٱلْجَنَّةَ ۚيُقَـٰتِلُونَفِىسَبِيلِٱللَّهِفَيَقْتُلُونَوَيُقْتَلُونَ ۖوَعْدًاعَلَيْهِحَقًّۭافِىٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِوَٱلْإِنجِيلِوَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ۚوَمَنْأَوْفَىٰبِعَهْدِهِۦمِنَٱللَّهِ ۚفَٱسْتَبْشِرُوا۟بِبَيْعِكُمُٱلَّذِىبَايَعْتُمبِهِۦ ۚوَذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلْفَوْزُٱلْعَظِيمُ
l-ʿaẓīmul-fawzuhuwawadhālikabihibāyaʿtumalladhībibayʿikumufa-is'tabshirūl-lahiminabiʿahdihiawfāwamanwal-qur'āniwal-injīlil-tawrātifīḥaqqanʿalayhiwaʿdanwayuq'talūnafayaqtulūnal-lahisabīlifīyuqātilūnal-janatalahumubi-annawa-amwālahumanfusahuml-mu'minīnaminaish'tarāl-lahainna
IndeedAllah(has) purchasedfromthe believerstheir livesand their wealthbecausefor them(is) ParadiseThey fightin(the) way(of) Allahthey slayand they are slainA promiseupon Himtrueinthe Tauratand the Injeeland the QuranAnd who(is) more faithfulto his promisethanAllahSo rejoicein your transactionwhichyou have contracted[with it]And thatit(is) the successthe great
9:111
ٱلتَّـٰٓئِبُونَٱلْعَـٰبِدُونَٱلْحَـٰمِدُونَٱلسَّـٰٓئِحُونَٱلرَّٰكِعُونَٱلسَّـٰجِدُونَٱلْـَٔامِرُونَبِٱلْمَعْرُوفِوَٱلنَّاهُونَعَنِٱلْمُنكَرِوَٱلْحَـٰفِظُونَلِحُدُودِٱللَّهِ ۗوَبَشِّرِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīnawabashiril-lahiliḥudūdiwal-ḥāfiẓūnal-munkariʿaniwal-nāhūnabil-maʿrūfil-āmirūnal-sājidūnal-rākiʿūnal-sāiḥūnal-ḥāmidūnal-ʿābidūnaal-tāibūna
Those who turn in repentancethose who worshipthose who praisethose who go outthose who bow downthose who prostratethose who enjointhe rightand those who forbid[on]the wrongand those who observe(the) limits(of) AllahAnd give glad tidings(to) the believers
9:112
مَاكَانَلِلنَّبِىِّوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟أَنيَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟لِلْمُشْرِكِينَوَلَوْكَانُوٓا۟أُو۟لِىقُرْبَىٰمِنۢبَعْدِمَاتَبَيَّنَلَهُمْأَنَّهُمْأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْجَحِيمِ
l-jaḥīmiaṣḥābuannahumlahumtabayyanamābaʿdiminqur'bāulīkānūwalawlil'mush'rikīnayastaghfirūanāmanūwa-alladhīnalilnnabiyyikānamā
Not(it) isfor the Prophetand those whobelievethatthey ask forgivenessfor the polytheistseven thoughthey benear of kinnear of kinafterafter[what]has become clearto themthat they(are the) companions(of) the Hellfire
9:113
وَمَاكَانَٱسْتِغْفَارُإِبْرَٰهِيمَلِأَبِيهِإِلَّاعَنمَّوْعِدَةٍۢوَعَدَهَآإِيَّاهُفَلَمَّاتَبَيَّنَلَهُۥٓأَنَّهُۥعَدُوٌّۭلِّلَّهِتَبَرَّأَمِنْهُ ۚإِنَّإِبْرَٰهِيمَلَأَوَّٰهٌحَلِيمٌۭ
ḥalīmunla-awwāhunib'rāhīmainnamin'hutabarra-alillahiʿaduwwunannahulahutabayyanafalammāiyyāhuwaʿadahāmawʿidatinʿanillāli-abīhiib'rāhīmais'tigh'fārukānawamā
And notwas(the) asking of forgiveness(by) Ibrahimfor his fatherexceptbecause(of) a promisehe had promised it(to) himBut whenit became clearto himthat he(was) an enemyto Allahhe disassociatedfrom himIndeedIbrahim(was) compassionateforbearing
9:114
وَمَاكَانَٱللَّهُلِيُضِلَّقَوْمًۢابَعْدَإِذْهَدَىٰهُمْحَتَّىٰيُبَيِّنَلَهُممَّايَتَّقُونَ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَبِكُلِّشَىْءٍعَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmunshayinbikullil-lahainnayattaqūnamālahumyubayyinaḥattāhadāhumidhbaʿdaqawmanliyuḍillal-lahukānawamā
And notis(for) Allahthat He lets go astraya peopleafter[when]He has guided themuntilHe makes clearto themwhatthey should fearIndeedAllah(of) everything(is) All-Knower
9:115
إِنَّٱللَّهَلَهُۥمُلْكُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖيُحْىِۦوَيُمِيتُ ۚوَمَالَكُممِّندُونِٱللَّهِمِنوَلِىٍّۢوَلَانَصِيرٍۢ
naṣīrinwalāwaliyyinminl-lahidūniminlakumwamāwayumītuyuḥ'yīwal-arḍil-samāwātimul'kulahul-lahainna
IndeedAllahto Him (belongs)the dominion(of) the heavensand the earthHe gives lifeand He causes deathAnd notfor youbesides Allahbesides Allahbesides Allahanyprotectorand notany helper
9:116
لَّقَدتَّابَٱللَّهُعَلَىٱلنَّبِىِّوَٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَوَٱلْأَنصَارِٱلَّذِينَٱتَّبَعُوهُفِىسَاعَةِٱلْعُسْرَةِمِنۢبَعْدِمَاكَادَيَزِيغُقُلُوبُفَرِيقٍۢمِّنْهُمْثُمَّتَابَعَلَيْهِمْ ۚإِنَّهُۥبِهِمْرَءُوفٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunraūfunbihiminnahuʿalayhimtābathummamin'humfarīqinqulūbuyazīghukādamābaʿdiminl-ʿus'ratisāʿatifīittabaʿūhualladhīnawal-anṣāriwal-muhājirīnal-nabiyiʿalāl-lahutābalaqad
VerilyAllah turned (in mercy)Allah turned (in mercy)tothe Prophetand the emigrantsand the helpers[those] whofollowed himin(the) hour(of) difficultyafterafter[what]had nearlydeviated(the) hearts(of) a partyof themthenHe turned (in mercy)to themIndeed, Heto them(is) Most KindMost Merciful
9:117
وَعَلَىٱلثَّلَـٰثَةِٱلَّذِينَخُلِّفُوا۟حَتَّىٰٓإِذَاضَاقَتْعَلَيْهِمُٱلْأَرْضُبِمَارَحُبَتْوَضَاقَتْعَلَيْهِمْأَنفُسُهُمْوَظَنُّوٓا۟أَنلَّامَلْجَأَمِنَٱللَّهِإِلَّآإِلَيْهِثُمَّتَابَعَلَيْهِمْلِيَتُوبُوٓا۟ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلتَّوَّابُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-tawābuhuwal-lahainnaliyatūbūʿalayhimtābathummailayhiillāl-lahiminamalja-alāanwaẓannūanfusuhumʿalayhimwaḍāqatraḥubatbimāl-arḍuʿalayhimuḍāqatidhāḥattākhullifūalladhīnal-thalāthatiwaʿalā
And onthe three(of) those whowere left behinduntilwhen(was) straitenedfor themthe earththoughit was vastAnd (was) straitenedfor themtheir own soulsand they were certainthat(there is) norefugefromAllahexceptto HimThenHe turned (in mercy)to themthat they may repentIndeedAllahHe(is) the Acceptor of repentancethe Most Merciful
9:118
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَكُونُوا۟مَعَٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
l-ṣādiqīnamaʿawakūnūl-lahaittaqūāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believeFearAllahand bewiththose who are truthful
9:119
مَاكَانَلِأَهْلِٱلْمَدِينَةِوَمَنْحَوْلَهُممِّنَٱلْأَعْرَابِأَنيَتَخَلَّفُوا۟عَنرَّسُولِٱللَّهِوَلَايَرْغَبُوا۟بِأَنفُسِهِمْعَننَّفْسِهِۦ ۚذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّهُمْلَايُصِيبُهُمْظَمَأٌۭوَلَانَصَبٌۭوَلَامَخْمَصَةٌۭفِىسَبِيلِٱللَّهِوَلَايَطَـُٔونَمَوْطِئًۭايَغِيظُٱلْكُفَّارَوَلَايَنَالُونَمِنْعَدُوٍّۢنَّيْلًاإِلَّاكُتِبَلَهُمبِهِۦعَمَلٌۭصَـٰلِحٌ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايُضِيعُأَجْرَٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnaajrayuḍīʿulāl-lahainnaṣāliḥunʿamalunbihilahumkutibaillānaylanʿaduwwinminyanālūnawalāl-kufārayaghīẓumawṭi-anyaṭaūnawalāl-lahisabīlifīmakhmaṣatunwalānaṣabunwalāẓama-onyuṣībuhumlābi-annahumdhālikanafsihiʿanbi-anfusihimyarghabūwalāl-lahirasūliʿanyatakhallafūanl-aʿrābiminaḥawlahumwamanl-madīnatili-ahlikānamā
Notit was(for) the peopleof the Madinahand whowere around themofthe bedouinsthatthey remain behindafterthe Messengerof Allahand notthey prefertheir livestohis lifeThat isbecause [they](does) notafflict themthirstand notfatigueand nothungerin(the) way(of) Allahand notthey stepany stepthat angersthe disbelieversand notthey inflictonan enemyan inflictionexceptis recordedfor themin it(as) a deedrighteousIndeedAllah(does) notallow to be lostthe reward(of) the good-doers
9:120
وَلَايُنفِقُونَنَفَقَةًۭصَغِيرَةًۭوَلَاكَبِيرَةًۭوَلَايَقْطَعُونَوَادِيًاإِلَّاكُتِبَلَهُمْلِيَجْزِيَهُمُٱللَّهُأَحْسَنَمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūmāaḥsanal-lahuliyajziyahumulahumkutibaillāwādiyanyaqṭaʿūnawalākabīratanwalāṣaghīratannafaqatanyunfiqūnawalā
And notthey spendany spendingsmalland notbigand notthey crossa valleybutis recordedfor themthat Allah may reward themthat Allah may reward themthe best(of) whatthey used (to)do
9:121
۞ وَمَاكَانَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَلِيَنفِرُوا۟كَآفَّةًۭ ۚفَلَوْلَانَفَرَمِنكُلِّفِرْقَةٍۢمِّنْهُمْطَآئِفَةٌۭلِّيَتَفَقَّهُوا۟فِىٱلدِّينِوَلِيُنذِرُوا۟قَوْمَهُمْإِذَارَجَعُوٓا۟إِلَيْهِمْلَعَلَّهُمْيَحْذَرُونَ
yaḥdharūnalaʿallahumilayhimrajaʿūidhāqawmahumwaliyundhirūl-dīnifīliyatafaqqahūṭāifatunmin'humfir'qatinkulliminnafarafalawlākāffatanliyanfirūl-mu'minūnakānawamā
And notis(for) the believersthat they go forthall togetherSo if notgo forthfromeverygroupamong thema partythat they may obtain understandinginthe religionand that they may warntheir peoplewhenthey returnto themso that they maybeware
9:122
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟قَـٰتِلُوا۟ٱلَّذِينَيَلُونَكُممِّنَٱلْكُفَّارِوَلْيَجِدُوا۟فِيكُمْغِلْظَةًۭ ۚوَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَمَعَٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
l-mutaqīnamaʿal-lahaannawa-iʿ'lamūghil'ẓatanfīkumwalyajidūl-kufāriminayalūnakumalladhīnaqātilūāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believeFightthose who(are) close to youofthe disbelieversand let them findin youharshnessAnd knowthatAllah(is) withthose who fear (Him)
9:123
وَإِذَامَآأُنزِلَتْسُورَةٌۭفَمِنْهُممَّنيَقُولُأَيُّكُمْزَادَتْهُهَـٰذِهِۦٓإِيمَـٰنًۭا ۚفَأَمَّاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟فَزَادَتْهُمْإِيمَـٰنًۭاوَهُمْيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
yastabshirūnawahumīmānanfazādathumāmanūalladhīnafa-ammāīmānanhādhihizādathuayyukumyaqūlumanfamin'humsūratununzilatmāwa-idhā
And wheneverAnd wheneveris revealeda Surahamong them(are some) whosayWhich of you(has) increased [it](by) this(in) faithAs forthose whobelievethen it has increased them(in) faithand theyrejoice
9:124
وَأَمَّاٱلَّذِينَفِىقُلُوبِهِممَّرَضٌۭفَزَادَتْهُمْرِجْسًاإِلَىٰرِجْسِهِمْوَمَاتُوا۟وَهُمْكَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūnawahumwamātūrij'sihimilārij'sanfazādathummaraḍunqulūbihimfīalladhīnawa-ammā
But as forthoseintheir hearts(is) a disease(it) increases them(in) eviltotheir evilAnd they diewhile they(are) disbelievers
9:125
أَوَلَايَرَوْنَأَنَّهُمْيُفْتَنُونَفِىكُلِّعَامٍۢمَّرَّةًأَوْمَرَّتَيْنِثُمَّلَايَتُوبُونَوَلَاهُمْيَذَّكَّرُونَ
yadhakkarūnahumwalāyatūbūnalāthummamarratayniawmarratanʿāminkullifīyuf'tanūnaannahumyarawnaawalā
Do notthey seethat theyare tried[in]everyyearonceortwiceYetnotthey turn (in repentance)and nottheypay heed
9:126
وَإِذَامَآأُنزِلَتْسُورَةٌۭنَّظَرَبَعْضُهُمْإِلَىٰبَعْضٍهَلْيَرَىٰكُممِّنْأَحَدٍۢثُمَّٱنصَرَفُوا۟ ۚصَرَفَٱللَّهُقُلُوبَهُمبِأَنَّهُمْقَوْمٌۭلَّايَفْقَهُونَ
yafqahūnalāqawmunbi-annahumqulūbahuml-lahuṣarafainṣarafūthummaaḥadinminyarākumhalbaʿḍinilābaʿḍuhumnaẓarasūratununzilatmāwa-idhā
And wheneverAnd wheneveris revealeda Surahlooksome of themtoothersDoessee youanyoneThenthey turn awayAllah has turned awayAllah has turned awaytheir heartsbecause they(are) a peoplenotthey understand
9:127
لَقَدْجَآءَكُمْرَسُولٌۭمِّنْأَنفُسِكُمْعَزِيزٌعَلَيْهِمَاعَنِتُّمْحَرِيصٌعَلَيْكُمبِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَرَءُوفٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunraūfunbil-mu'minīnaʿalaykumḥarīṣunʿanittummāʿalayhiʿazīzunanfusikumminrasūlunjāakumlaqad
Certainly(has) come to youa MessengerfromyourselvesGrievousto him(is) whatyou suffer(he is) concernedover youto the believers(he is) kind(and) merciful
9:128
فَإِنتَوَلَّوْا۟فَقُلْحَسْبِىَٱللَّهُلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَ ۖعَلَيْهِتَوَكَّلْتُ ۖوَهُوَرَبُّٱلْعَرْشِٱلْعَظِيمِ
l-ʿaẓīmil-ʿarshirabbuwahuwatawakkaltuʿalayhihuwaillāilāhalāl-lahuḥasbiyafaqultawallawfa-in
But ifthey turn awaythen saySufficient for me(is) Allah(There is) nogodexceptHimOn HimI put my trustAnd He(is the) Lord(of) the Thronethe Great
9:129
Basmala
الٓر ۚتِلْكَءَايَـٰتُٱلْكِتَـٰبِٱلْحَكِيمِ
l-ḥakīmil-kitābiāyātutil'kaalif-lam-ra
Alif Lam RaThese(are the) verses(of) the Bookthe wise
10:1
أَكَانَلِلنَّاسِعَجَبًاأَنْأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَىٰرَجُلٍۢمِّنْهُمْأَنْأَنذِرِٱلنَّاسَوَبَشِّرِٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟أَنَّلَهُمْقَدَمَصِدْقٍعِندَرَبِّهِمْ ۗقَالَٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَإِنَّهَـٰذَالَسَـٰحِرٌۭمُّبِينٌ
mubīnunlasāḥirunhādhāinnal-kāfirūnaqālarabbihimʿindaṣid'qinqadamalahumannaāmanūalladhīnawabashiril-nāsaandhirianmin'humrajulinilāawḥaynāanʿajabanlilnnāsiakāna
Is itfor the mankinda wonderthatWe revealedtoa manfrom (among) themthatWarnthe mankindand give glad tidings(to) those whobelievethatfor them(will be) a respectable position(will be) a respectable positionneartheir LordSaidthe disbelieversIndeedthis(is) surely a magicianobvious
10:2
إِنَّرَبَّكُمُٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَفِىسِتَّةِأَيَّامٍۢثُمَّٱسْتَوَىٰعَلَىٱلْعَرْشِ ۖيُدَبِّرُٱلْأَمْرَ ۖمَامِنشَفِيعٍإِلَّامِنۢبَعْدِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚذَٰلِكُمُٱللَّهُرَبُّكُمْفَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚأَفَلَاتَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkarūnaafalāfa-uʿ'budūhurabbukuml-lahudhālikumuidh'nihibaʿdiminillāshafīʿinminmāl-amrayudabbirul-ʿarshiʿalāis'tawāthummaayyāminsittatifīwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqaalladhīl-lahurabbakumuinna
Indeedyour Lord(is) Allahthe One Whocreatedthe heavensand the earthinsixperiodsthenHe establishedonthe Thronedisposingthe affairsNot(is) any intercessor(is) any intercessorexceptafterafterHis permissionThat(is) Allahyour Lordso worship HimThen will notyou remember
10:3
إِلَيْهِمَرْجِعُكُمْجَمِيعًۭا ۖوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقًّا ۚإِنَّهُۥيَبْدَؤُا۟ٱلْخَلْقَثُمَّيُعِيدُهُۥلِيَجْزِىَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِبِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚوَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لَهُمْشَرَابٌۭمِّنْحَمِيمٍۢوَعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌۢبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَكْفُرُونَ
yakfurūnakānūbimāalīmunwaʿadhābunḥamīminminsharābunlahumkafarūwa-alladhīnabil-qis'ṭil-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnaliyajziyayuʿīduhuthummal-khalqayabda-uinnahuḥaqqanl-lahiwaʿdajamīʿanmarjiʿukumilayhi
To Him(will be) your return[all]Promise(of) Allah(is) trueIndeed, Heoriginatesthe creationthenHe repeats itthat He may rewardthose whobelievedand didthe good deedsin justiceBut those whodisbelievedfor them(will be) a drinkofboiling fluidsand a punishmentpainfulbecausethey used (to)disbelieve
10:4
هُوَٱلَّذِىجَعَلَٱلشَّمْسَضِيَآءًۭوَٱلْقَمَرَنُورًۭاوَقَدَّرَهُۥمَنَازِلَلِتَعْلَمُوا۟عَدَدَٱلسِّنِينَوَٱلْحِسَابَ ۚمَاخَلَقَٱللَّهُذَٰلِكَإِلَّابِٱلْحَقِّ ۚيُفَصِّلُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلِقَوْمٍۢيَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnaliqawminl-āyātiyufaṣṣilubil-ḥaqiillādhālikal-lahukhalaqamāwal-ḥisābal-sinīnaʿadadalitaʿlamūmanāzilawaqaddarahunūranwal-qamaraḍiyāanl-shamsajaʿalaalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whomadethe suna shining lightand the moona reflected lightand determined for itphasesthat you may know(the) number(of) the yearsand the count (of time)NotcreatedAllahthatexceptin truthHe explainsthe Signsfor a people(who) know
10:5
إِنَّفِىٱخْتِلَـٰفِٱلَّيْلِوَٱلنَّهَارِوَمَاخَلَقَٱللَّهُفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيَتَّقُونَ
yattaqūnaliqawminlaāyātinwal-arḍil-samāwātifīl-lahukhalaqawamāwal-nahārial-layliikh'tilāfifīinna
Indeedin(the) alternation(of) the nightand the dayand what(has been) created(by) Allahinthe heavensand the earth(are) Signsfor a peoplewho are God conscious
10:6
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَلَايَرْجُونَلِقَآءَنَاوَرَضُوا۟بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاوَٱطْمَأَنُّوا۟بِهَاوَٱلَّذِينَهُمْعَنْءَايَـٰتِنَاغَـٰفِلُونَ
ghāfilūnaāyātināʿanhumwa-alladhīnabihāwa-iṭ'ma-annūl-dun'yābil-ḥayatiwaraḍūliqāanāyarjūnalāalladhīnainna
Indeedthose who(do) notexpectthe meeting with Usand are pleasedwith the life(of) the worldand feel satisfiedwith itand those they(are) ofOur Signsheedless
10:7
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَمَأْوَىٰهُمُٱلنَّارُبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَكْسِبُونَ
yaksibūnakānūbimāl-nārumawāhumuulāika
Those their abode(will be) the Firefor whatthey used (to)earn
10:8
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِيَهْدِيهِمْرَبُّهُمبِإِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۖتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهِمُٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُفِىجَنَّـٰتِٱلنَّعِيمِ
l-naʿīmijannātifīl-anhārutaḥtihimumintajrībiīmānihimrabbuhumyahdīhiml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whobelievedand didgood deeds(will) guide themtheir Lordby their faithWill flowfromunderneath themthe riversinGardens(of) Delight
10:9
دَعْوَىٰهُمْفِيهَاسُبْحَـٰنَكَٱللَّهُمَّوَتَحِيَّتُهُمْفِيهَاسَلَـٰمٌۭ ۚوَءَاخِرُدَعْوَىٰهُمْأَنِٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbilillahil-ḥamduanidaʿwāhumwaākhirusalāmunfīhāwataḥiyyatuhuml-lahumasub'ḥānakafīhādaʿwāhum
Their prayertherein(will be), "Glory be to YouO AllahAnd their greetingtherein (will be)PeaceAnd the last(of) their call(will be) [that]All the Praise beto AllahLord(of) the worlds
10:10
۞ وَلَوْيُعَجِّلُٱللَّهُلِلنَّاسِٱلشَّرَّٱسْتِعْجَالَهُمبِٱلْخَيْرِلَقُضِىَإِلَيْهِمْأَجَلُهُمْ ۖفَنَذَرُٱلَّذِينَلَايَرْجُونَلِقَآءَنَافِىطُغْيَـٰنِهِمْيَعْمَهُونَ
yaʿmahūnaṭugh'yānihimfīliqāanāyarjūnalāalladhīnafanadharuajaluhumilayhimlaquḍiyabil-khayriis'tiʿ'jālahuml-sharalilnnāsil-lahuyuʿajjiluwalaw
And ifhastens(by) Allahfor the mankindthe evil(as) He hastens for themthe goodsurely, would have been decreedfor themtheir termBut We leavethose who(do) notexpectthe meeting with Usintheir transgressionwandering blindly
10:11
وَإِذَامَسَّٱلْإِنسَـٰنَٱلضُّرُّدَعَانَالِجَنۢبِهِۦٓأَوْقَاعِدًاأَوْقَآئِمًۭافَلَمَّاكَشَفْنَاعَنْهُضُرَّهُۥمَرَّكَأَنلَّمْيَدْعُنَآإِلَىٰضُرٍّۢمَّسَّهُۥ ۚكَذَٰلِكَزُيِّنَلِلْمُسْرِفِينَمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūmālil'mus'rifīnazuyyinakadhālikamassahuḍurrinilāyadʿunālamka-anmarraḍurrahuʿanhukashafnāfalammāqāimanawqāʿidanawlijanbihidaʿānāl-ḍurul-insānamassawa-idhā
And whentouchesthe manthe afflictionhe calls Us(lying) on his sideorsittingorstandingBut whenWe removefrom himhis afflictionhe passes onas if he(had) notcalled Usfor(the) affliction(that) touched himThus(it) is made fair seemingto the extravagantwhatthey used (to)do
10:12
وَلَقَدْأَهْلَكْنَاٱلْقُرُونَمِنقَبْلِكُمْلَمَّاظَلَمُوا۟ ۙوَجَآءَتْهُمْرُسُلُهُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِوَمَاكَانُوا۟لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚكَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِىٱلْقَوْمَٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
l-muj'rimīnal-qawmanajzīkadhālikaliyu'minūkānūwamābil-bayinātirusuluhumwajāathumẓalamūlammāqablikumminl-qurūnaahlaknāwalaqad
And verilyWe destroyedthe generationsbefore youbefore youwhenthey wrongedand came to themtheir Messengerswith clear proofsbut notthey wereto believeThusWe recompensethe people(who are) criminals
10:13
ثُمَّجَعَلْنَـٰكُمْخَلَـٰٓئِفَفِىٱلْأَرْضِمِنۢبَعْدِهِمْلِنَنظُرَكَيْفَتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakayfalinanẓurabaʿdihimminl-arḍifīkhalāifajaʿalnākumthumma
ThenWe made yousuccessorsinthe earthafter themafter themso that We may seehowyou do
10:14
وَإِذَاتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِمْءَايَاتُنَابَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ ۙقَالَٱلَّذِينَلَايَرْجُونَلِقَآءَنَاٱئْتِبِقُرْءَانٍغَيْرِهَـٰذَآأَوْبَدِّلْهُ ۚقُلْمَايَكُونُلِىٓأَنْأُبَدِّلَهُۥمِنتِلْقَآئِنَفْسِىٓ ۖإِنْأَتَّبِعُإِلَّامَايُوحَىٰٓإِلَىَّ ۖإِنِّىٓأَخَافُإِنْعَصَيْتُرَبِّىعَذَابَيَوْمٍعَظِيمٍۢ
ʿaẓīminyawminʿadhābarabbīʿaṣaytuinakhāfuinnīilayyayūḥāmāillāattabiʿuinnafsītil'qāiminubaddilahuanlīyakūnumāqulbaddil'huawhādhāghayribiqur'ānini'tiliqāanāyarjūnalāalladhīnaqālabayyinātināyātunāʿalayhimtut'lāwa-idhā
And whenare recitedto themOur Verses(as) clear proofssaidthose who(do) nothope(for the) meeting (with) UsBring usa Quranother (than)thisorchange itSayNot(it) isfor methatI change itofmy own accordmy own accordNotI followexceptwhatis revealedto meIndeed, I[I] fearifI were to disobeymy Lord(the) punishment(of) a DayGreat
10:15
قُللَّوْشَآءَٱللَّهُمَاتَلَوْتُهُۥعَلَيْكُمْوَلَآأَدْرَىٰكُمبِهِۦ ۖفَقَدْلَبِثْتُفِيكُمْعُمُرًۭامِّنقَبْلِهِۦٓ ۚأَفَلَاتَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūnaafalāqablihiminʿumuranfīkumlabith'tufaqadbihiadrākumwalāʿalaykumtalawtuhumāl-lahushāalawqul
SayIf(had) willedAllahnotI (would) have recited itto youand notHe (would) have made it known to youHe (would) have made it known to youVerilyI have stayedamong youa lifetimebefore itbefore itThen will notyou use reason
10:16
فَمَنْأَظْلَمُمِمَّنِٱفْتَرَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِكَذِبًاأَوْكَذَّبَبِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۚإِنَّهُۥلَايُفْلِحُٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
l-muj'rimūnayuf'liḥulāinnahubiāyātihikadhabaawkadhibanl-lahiʿalāif'tarāmimmaniaẓlamufaman
So who(is) more wrongthan he whoinventsagainstAllaha lieordeniesHis SignsIndeednotwill succeedthe criminals
10:17
وَيَعْبُدُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِمَالَايَضُرُّهُمْوَلَايَنفَعُهُمْوَيَقُولُونَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِشُفَعَـٰٓؤُنَاعِندَٱللَّهِ ۚقُلْأَتُنَبِّـُٔونَٱللَّهَبِمَالَايَعْلَمُفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَلَافِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۚسُبْحَـٰنَهُۥوَتَعَـٰلَىٰعَمَّايُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūnaʿammāwataʿālāsub'ḥānahul-arḍifīwalāl-samāwātifīyaʿlamulābimāl-lahaatunabbiūnaqull-lahiʿindashufaʿāunāhāulāiwayaqūlūnayanfaʿuhumwalāyaḍurruhumlāmāl-lahidūniminwayaʿbudūna
And they worshipfromother thanAllahthat (which)(does) notharm themand notbenefit themand they sayThese(are) our intercessorswithAllahSayDo you informAllahof whatnothe knowsinthe heavensand notinthe earthGlorified is Heand Exaltedabove whatthey associate (with Him)
10:18
وَمَاكَانَٱلنَّاسُإِلَّآأُمَّةًۭوَٰحِدَةًۭفَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ ۚوَلَوْلَاكَلِمَةٌۭسَبَقَتْمِنرَّبِّكَلَقُضِىَبَيْنَهُمْفِيمَافِيهِيَخْتَلِفُونَ
yakhtalifūnafīhifīmābaynahumlaquḍiyarabbikaminsabaqatkalimatunwalawlāfa-ikh'talafūwāḥidatanummatanillāl-nāsukānawamā
And notwasthe mankindbuta communityonethen they differedAnd had (it) not beena word(that) precededfromyour Lordsurely, it (would) have been judgedbetween themconcerning what[therein]they differ
10:19
وَيَقُولُونَلَوْلَآأُنزِلَعَلَيْهِءَايَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّهِۦ ۖفَقُلْإِنَّمَاٱلْغَيْبُلِلَّهِفَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟إِنِّىمَعَكُممِّنَٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ
l-muntaẓirīnaminamaʿakuminnīfa-intaẓirūlillahil-ghaybuinnamāfaqulrabbihimināyatunʿalayhiunzilalawlāwayaqūlūna
And they sayWhy notis sent downto hima Signfromhis LordSo sayOnlythe unseen(is) for Allahso waitindeed, I amwith youamongthe ones who wait
10:20
وَإِذَآأَذَقْنَاٱلنَّاسَرَحْمَةًۭمِّنۢبَعْدِضَرَّآءَمَسَّتْهُمْإِذَالَهُممَّكْرٌۭفِىٓءَايَاتِنَا ۚقُلِٱللَّهُأَسْرَعُمَكْرًا ۚإِنَّرُسُلَنَايَكْتُبُونَمَاتَمْكُرُونَ
tamkurūnamāyaktubūnarusulanāinnamakranasraʿul-lahuquliāyātināfīmakrunlahumidhāmassathumḍarrāabaʿdiminraḥmatanl-nāsaadhaqnāwa-idhā
And whenWe let [the] mankind tasteWe let [the] mankind tastemercyafterafteradversityhas touched thembeholdThey havea plotagainstOur VersesSayAllah(is) more swift(in) planningIndeedOur Messengerswrite downwhatyou plot
10:21
هُوَٱلَّذِىيُسَيِّرُكُمْفِىٱلْبَرِّوَٱلْبَحْرِ ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاكُنتُمْفِىٱلْفُلْكِوَجَرَيْنَبِهِمبِرِيحٍۢطَيِّبَةٍۢوَفَرِحُوا۟بِهَاجَآءَتْهَارِيحٌعَاصِفٌۭوَجَآءَهُمُٱلْمَوْجُمِنكُلِّمَكَانٍۢوَظَنُّوٓا۟أَنَّهُمْأُحِيطَبِهِمْ ۙدَعَوُا۟ٱللَّهَمُخْلِصِينَلَهُٱلدِّينَلَئِنْأَنجَيْتَنَامِنْهَـٰذِهِۦلَنَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ
l-shākirīnaminalanakūnannahādhihiminanjaytanāla-inl-dīnalahumukh'liṣīnal-lahadaʿawūbihimuḥīṭaannahumwaẓannūmakāninkulliminl-mawjuwajāahumuʿāṣifunrīḥunjāathābihāwafariḥūṭayyibatinbirīḥinbihimwajaraynal-ful'kifīkuntumidhāḥattāwal-baḥril-barifīyusayyirukumalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whoenables you to travelinthe landand the seauntilwhenyou areinthe shipsand they sailwith themwith a windgoodand they rejoicethereincomes to ita windstormyand comes to themthe wavesfromeveryplaceand they assumethat theyare surroundedwith themThey callAllahsincerelyto Him(in) the religion(saying), "IfYou save usfromthissurely we will beamongthe thankful
10:22
فَلَمَّآأَنجَىٰهُمْإِذَاهُمْيَبْغُونَفِىٱلْأَرْضِبِغَيْرِٱلْحَقِّ ۗيَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُإِنَّمَابَغْيُكُمْعَلَىٰٓأَنفُسِكُم ۖمَّتَـٰعَٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَا ۖثُمَّإِلَيْنَامَرْجِعُكُمْفَنُنَبِّئُكُمبِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāfanunabbi-ukummarjiʿukumilaynāthummal-dun'yāl-ḥayatimatāʿaanfusikumʿalābaghyukuminnamāl-nāsuyāayyuhāl-ḥaqibighayril-arḍifīyabghūnahumidhāanjāhumfalammā
But whenHe saved thembeholdTheyrebelinthe earthwithout[the] rightO mankindO mankindOnlyyour rebellion(is) againstyourselves(the) enjoyment(of) the life(of) the worldThento Us(is) your returnand We will inform youof whatyou used (to)do
10:23
إِنَّمَامَثَلُٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاكَمَآءٍأَنزَلْنَـٰهُمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِفَٱخْتَلَطَبِهِۦنَبَاتُٱلْأَرْضِمِمَّايَأْكُلُٱلنَّاسُوَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمُحَتَّىٰٓإِذَآأَخَذَتِٱلْأَرْضُزُخْرُفَهَاوَٱزَّيَّنَتْوَظَنَّأَهْلُهَآأَنَّهُمْقَـٰدِرُونَعَلَيْهَآأَتَىٰهَآأَمْرُنَالَيْلًاأَوْنَهَارًۭافَجَعَلْنَـٰهَاحَصِيدًۭاكَأَنلَّمْتَغْنَبِٱلْأَمْسِ ۚكَذَٰلِكَنُفَصِّلُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلِقَوْمٍۢيَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkarūnaliqawminl-āyātinufaṣṣilukadhālikabil-amsitaghnalamka-anḥaṣīdanfajaʿalnāhānahāranawlaylanamrunāatāhāʿalayhāqādirūnaannahumahluhāwaẓannawa-izzayyanatzukh'rufahāl-arḍuakhadhatiidhāḥattāwal-anʿāmul-nāsuyakulumimmāl-arḍinabātubihifa-ikh'talaṭal-samāiminaanzalnāhukamāinl-dun'yāl-ḥayatimathaluinnamā
Only(the) example(of) the life(of) the world(is) like (the) waterwhich We sent downfromthe skyso absorbs[with] it(the) plants(of) the earthfrom whicheatthe menand the cattleuntilwhentakesthe earthits adornmentand is beautifiedand thinkits peoplethat theyhave the powerover itcomes (to) itOur command(by) nightor(by) dayand We make ita harvest clean-mownas ifnotit had flourishedyesterdayThusWe explainthe Signsfor a peoplewho reflect
10:24
وَٱللَّهُيَدْعُوٓا۟إِلَىٰدَارِٱلسَّلَـٰمِوَيَهْدِىمَنيَشَآءُإِلَىٰصِرَٰطٍۢمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
mus'taqīminṣirāṭinilāyashāumanwayahdīl-salāmidāriilāyadʿūwal-lahu
And Allahcallsto(the) Home(of) the Peaceand guideswhomHe willsto(the) straight path(the) straight path
10:25
۞ لِّلَّذِينَأَحْسَنُوا۟ٱلْحُسْنَىٰوَزِيَادَةٌۭ ۖوَلَايَرْهَقُوُجُوهَهُمْقَتَرٌۭوَلَاذِلَّةٌ ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖهُمْفِيهَاخَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūnafīhāhuml-janatiaṣḥābuulāikadhillatunwalāqatarunwujūhahumyarhaquwalāwaziyādatunl-ḥus'nāaḥsanūlilladhīna
For those whodo good(is) the bestand moreAnd not(will) covertheir facesdustand nothumiliationThose(are the) companions(of) Paradisetheyin it(will) abide forever
10:26
وَٱلَّذِينَكَسَبُوا۟ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِجَزَآءُسَيِّئَةٍۭبِمِثْلِهَاوَتَرْهَقُهُمْذِلَّةٌۭ ۖمَّالَهُممِّنَٱللَّهِمِنْعَاصِمٍۢ ۖكَأَنَّمَآأُغْشِيَتْوُجُوهُهُمْقِطَعًۭامِّنَٱلَّيْلِمُظْلِمًا ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلنَّارِ ۖهُمْفِيهَاخَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūnafīhāhuml-nāriaṣḥābuulāikamuẓ'limanal-layliminaqiṭaʿanwujūhuhumugh'shiyatka-annamāʿāṣiminminl-lahiminalahummādhillatunwatarhaquhumbimith'lihāsayyi-atinjazāul-sayiātikasabūwa-alladhīna
And those whoearnedthe evil deeds(the) recompense(of) an evil deed(is) like itand (will) cover themhumiliationThey will not haveThey will not havefromAllahanydefenderAs ifhad been coveredtheir faces(with) piecesfromthe darkness (of) nightthe darkness (of) nightThose(are the) companions(of) the Firetheyin it(will) abide forever
10:27
وَيَوْمَنَحْشُرُهُمْجَمِيعًۭاثُمَّنَقُولُلِلَّذِينَأَشْرَكُوا۟مَكَانَكُمْأَنتُمْوَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ ۚفَزَيَّلْنَابَيْنَهُمْ ۖوَقَالَشُرَكَآؤُهُممَّاكُنتُمْإِيَّانَاتَعْبُدُونَ
taʿbudūnaiyyānākuntummāshurakāuhumwaqālabaynahumfazayyalnāwashurakāukumantummakānakumashrakūlilladhīnanaqūluthummajamīʿannaḥshuruhumwayawma
And (the) DayWe will gather themall togetherthenWe will sayto those whoassociate partners (with Allah)(Remain in) your placeyouand your partnersThen We will separate[between] themand (will) saytheir partnersNotyou used (to)worship usworship us
10:28
فَكَفَىٰبِٱللَّهِشَهِيدًۢابَيْنَنَاوَبَيْنَكُمْإِنكُنَّاعَنْعِبَادَتِكُمْلَغَـٰفِلِينَ
laghāfilīnaʿibādatikumʿankunnāinwabaynakumbaynanāshahīdanbil-lahifakafā
So sufficient(is) Allah(as) a witnessbetween usand between youthatwe wereofyour worshipcertainly unaware
10:29
هُنَالِكَتَبْلُوا۟كُلُّنَفْسٍۢمَّآأَسْلَفَتْ ۚوَرُدُّوٓا۟إِلَىٱللَّهِمَوْلَىٰهُمُٱلْحَقِّ ۖوَضَلَّعَنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟يَفْتَرُونَ
yaftarūnakānūmāʿanhumwaḍallal-ḥaqimawlāhumul-lahiilāwaruddūaslafatmānafsinkullutablūhunālika
Therewill be put to trialeverysoul(for) whatit did previouslyand they will be returnedtoAllahtheir Lordthe trueand will be lostfrom themwhatthey used (to)invent
10:30
قُلْمَنيَرْزُقُكُممِّنَٱلسَّمَآءِوَٱلْأَرْضِأَمَّنيَمْلِكُٱلسَّمْعَوَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَوَمَنيُخْرِجُٱلْحَىَّمِنَٱلْمَيِّتِوَيُخْرِجُٱلْمَيِّتَمِنَٱلْحَىِّوَمَنيُدَبِّرُٱلْأَمْرَ ۚفَسَيَقُولُونَٱللَّهُ ۚفَقُلْأَفَلَاتَتَّقُونَ
tattaqūnaafalāfaqull-lahufasayaqūlūnal-amrayudabbiruwamanl-ḥayiminal-mayitawayukh'rijul-mayitiminal-ḥayayukh'rijuwamanwal-abṣāral-samʿayamlikuammanwal-arḍil-samāiminayarzuqukummanqul
SayWhoprovides for youfromthe skyand the earthOr whocontrolsthe hearingand the sightAnd whobrings outthe livingfromthe deadand brings forththe deadfromthe livingAnd whodisposesthe affairsThen they will sayAllahThen sayThen will notyou fear (Him)
10:31
فَذَٰلِكُمُٱللَّهُرَبُّكُمُٱلْحَقُّ ۖفَمَاذَابَعْدَٱلْحَقِّإِلَّاٱلضَّلَـٰلُ ۖفَأَنَّىٰتُصْرَفُونَ
tuṣ'rafūnafa-annāl-ḍalāluillāl-ḥaqibaʿdafamādhāl-ḥaqurabbukumul-lahufadhālikumu
For that(is) Allahyour Lordthe trueSo what (can be)afterthe truthexceptthe errorSo how(are) you turned away
10:32
كَذَٰلِكَحَقَّتْكَلِمَتُرَبِّكَعَلَىٱلَّذِينَفَسَقُوٓا۟أَنَّهُمْلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalāannahumfasaqūalladhīnaʿalārabbikakalimatuḥaqqatkadhālika
Thus(is) proved true(the) Word(of) your Lorduponthose whodefiantly disobeyedthat they(will) notbelieve
10:33
قُلْهَلْمِنشُرَكَآئِكُممَّنيَبْدَؤُا۟ٱلْخَلْقَثُمَّيُعِيدُهُۥ ۚقُلِٱللَّهُيَبْدَؤُا۟ٱلْخَلْقَثُمَّيُعِيدُهُۥ ۖفَأَنَّىٰتُؤْفَكُونَ
tu'fakūnafa-annāyuʿīduhuthummal-khalqayabda-ul-lahuquliyuʿīduhuthummal-khalqayabda-umanshurakāikumminhalqul
SayIs (there)ofyour partners(any) whooriginatesthe creationthenrepeats itSayAllahoriginatesthe creationthenrepeats itSo howyou are deluded
10:34
قُلْهَلْمِنشُرَكَآئِكُممَّنيَهْدِىٓإِلَىٱلْحَقِّ ۚقُلِٱللَّهُيَهْدِىلِلْحَقِّ ۗأَفَمَنيَهْدِىٓإِلَىٱلْحَقِّأَحَقُّأَنيُتَّبَعَأَمَّنلَّايَهِدِّىٓإِلَّآأَنيُهْدَىٰ ۖفَمَالَكُمْكَيْفَتَحْكُمُونَ
taḥkumūnakayfalakumfamāyuh'dāanillāyahiddīlāammanyuttabaʿaanaḥaqqul-ḥaqiilāyahdīafamanlil'ḥaqqiyahdīl-lahuqulil-ḥaqiilāyahdīmanshurakāikumminhalqul
SayIs (there)ofyour partners(any) whoguidestothe truthSayAllahguidesto the truthIs then (he) whoguidestothe truthmore worthythathe should be followedor (he) who(does) notguideunless[that]he is guidedThen what(is) for youhowyou judge
10:35
وَمَايَتَّبِعُأَكْثَرُهُمْإِلَّاظَنًّا ۚإِنَّٱلظَّنَّلَايُغْنِىمِنَٱلْحَقِّشَيْـًٔا ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَعَلِيمٌۢبِمَايَفْعَلُونَ
yafʿalūnabimāʿalīmunl-lahainnashayanl-ḥaqiminayugh'nīlāl-ẓanainnaẓannanillāaktharuhumyattabiʿuwamā
And notfollowmost of themexceptassumptionIndeedthe assumption(does) notavailagainstthe truthanythingIndeedAllah(is) All-Knowerof whatthey do
10:36
وَمَاكَانَهَـٰذَاٱلْقُرْءَانُأَنيُفْتَرَىٰمِندُونِٱللَّهِوَلَـٰكِنتَصْدِيقَٱلَّذِىبَيْنَيَدَيْهِوَتَفْصِيلَٱلْكِتَـٰبِلَارَيْبَفِيهِمِنرَّبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbiminfīhiraybalāl-kitābiwatafṣīlayadayhibaynaalladhītaṣdīqawalākinl-lahidūniminyuf'tarāanl-qur'ānuhādhākānawamā
And notisthisthe Quranthat(it could be) producedbyother than Allahother than Allahbut(it is) a confirmation(of that) which(was) before it(was) before itand a detailed explanation(of) the Book(there is) nodoubtin itfrom(the) Lord(of) the worlds
10:37
أَمْيَقُولُونَٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۖقُلْفَأْتُوا۟بِسُورَةٍۢمِّثْلِهِۦوَٱدْعُوا۟مَنِٱسْتَطَعْتُممِّندُونِٱللَّهِإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntuminl-lahidūniminis'taṭaʿtummaniwa-id'ʿūmith'lihibisūratinfatūqulif'tarāhuyaqūlūnaam
Or(do) they sayHe has invented itSayThen bringa Surahlike itand callwhoeveryou canbesides Allahbesides Allahbesides Allahifyou aretruthful
10:38
بَلْكَذَّبُوا۟بِمَالَمْيُحِيطُوا۟بِعِلْمِهِۦوَلَمَّايَأْتِهِمْتَأْوِيلُهُۥ ۚكَذَٰلِكَكَذَّبَٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۖفَٱنظُرْكَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafa-unẓurqablihimminalladhīnakadhabakadhālikatawīluhuyatihimwalammābiʿil'mihiyuḥīṭūlambimākadhabūbal
Naythey deniedwhatnotthey could encompass(of) its knowledgeand nothas come (to) themits interpretationThusdeniedthosebefore thembefore themthen seehowwas(the) end(of) the wrongdoers
10:39
وَمِنْهُممَّنيُؤْمِنُبِهِۦوَمِنْهُممَّنلَّايُؤْمِنُبِهِۦ ۚوَرَبُّكَأَعْلَمُبِٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
bil-muf'sidīnaaʿlamuwarabbukabihiyu'minulāmanwamin'humbihiyu'minumanwamin'hum
And of them(is one) whobelievesin itand of them(is one) who(does) notbelievein itAnd your Lord(is) All-Knowerof the corrupters
10:40
وَإِنكَذَّبُوكَفَقُللِّىعَمَلِىوَلَكُمْعَمَلُكُمْ ۖأَنتُمبَرِيٓـُٔونَمِمَّآأَعْمَلُوَأَنَا۠بَرِىٓءٌۭمِّمَّاتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnamimmābarīonwa-anāaʿmalumimmābarīūnaantumʿamalukumwalakumʿamalīlīfaqulkadhabūkawa-in
And ifthey deny youthen sayFor me(are) my deedsand for you(are) your deedsYou(are) disassociatedfrom whatI doand I amdisassociatedfrom whatyou do
10:41
وَمِنْهُممَّنيَسْتَمِعُونَإِلَيْكَ ۚأَفَأَنتَتُسْمِعُٱلصُّمَّوَلَوْكَانُوا۟لَايَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnalākānūwalawl-ṣumatus'miʿuafa-antailaykayastamiʿūnamanwamin'hum
And among them(are some) wholistento youBut (can) youcause the deaf to hearcause the deaf to heareven thoughthey [were](do) notuse reason
10:42
وَمِنْهُممَّنيَنظُرُإِلَيْكَ ۚأَفَأَنتَتَهْدِىٱلْعُمْىَوَلَوْكَانُوا۟لَايُبْصِرُونَ
yub'ṣirūnalākānūwalawl-ʿum'yatahdīafa-antailaykayanẓurumanwamin'hum
And among them(are some) wholookat youBut (can) youguidethe blindeven thoughthey [were](do) notsee
10:43
إِنَّٱللَّهَلَايَظْلِمُٱلنَّاسَشَيْـًۭٔاوَلَـٰكِنَّٱلنَّاسَأَنفُسَهُمْيَظْلِمُونَ
yaẓlimūnaanfusahuml-nāsawalākinnashayanl-nāsayaẓlimulāl-lahainna
IndeedAllah(does) notwrongthe people(in) anythingbutthe peoplewrong themselveswrong themselves
10:44
وَيَوْمَيَحْشُرُهُمْكَأَنلَّمْيَلْبَثُوٓا۟إِلَّاسَاعَةًۭمِّنَٱلنَّهَارِيَتَعَارَفُونَبَيْنَهُمْ ۚقَدْخَسِرَٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِلِقَآءِٱللَّهِوَمَاكَانُوا۟مُهْتَدِينَ
muh'tadīnakānūwamāl-lahibiliqāikadhabūalladhīnakhasiraqadbaynahumyataʿārafūnal-nahāriminasāʿatanillāyalbathūlamka-anyaḥshuruhumwayawma
And the DayHe will gather themas ifthey had not remainedthey had not remainedexceptan hourofthe daythey will recognize each otherbetween themCertainly(will have) lostthose whodeniedthe meeting(with) Allahand notthey werethe guided ones
10:45
وَإِمَّانُرِيَنَّكَبَعْضَٱلَّذِىنَعِدُهُمْأَوْنَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَفَإِلَيْنَامَرْجِعُهُمْثُمَّٱللَّهُشَهِيدٌعَلَىٰمَايَفْعَلُونَ
yafʿalūnamāʿalāshahīdunl-lahuthummamarjiʿuhumfa-ilaynānatawaffayannakaawnaʿiduhumalladhībaʿḍanuriyannakawa-immā
And whetherWe show yousome(of) that whichWe promised themorWe cause you to diethen to Us(is) their returnthenAllah(is) a Witnessoverwhatthey do
10:46
وَلِكُلِّأُمَّةٍۢرَّسُولٌۭ ۖفَإِذَاجَآءَرَسُولُهُمْقُضِىَبَيْنَهُمبِٱلْقِسْطِوَهُمْلَايُظْلَمُونَ
yuẓ'lamūnalāwahumbil-qis'ṭibaynahumquḍiyarasūluhumjāafa-idhārasūlunummatinwalikulli
And for everynation(is) a MessengerSo whencomestheir Messengerit will be judgedbetween themin justiceand they(will) notbe wronged
10:47
وَيَقُولُونَمَتَىٰهَـٰذَاٱلْوَعْدُإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntuminl-waʿduhādhāmatāwayaqūlūna
And they sayWhen(will) thisthe promise (be fulfilled)ifyou aretruthful
10:48
قُللَّآأَمْلِكُلِنَفْسِىضَرًّۭاوَلَانَفْعًاإِلَّامَاشَآءَٱللَّهُ ۗلِكُلِّأُمَّةٍأَجَلٌ ۚإِذَاجَآءَأَجَلُهُمْفَلَايَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَسَاعَةًۭ ۖوَلَايَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
yastaqdimūnawalāsāʿatanyastakhirūnafalāajaluhumjāaidhāajalunummatinlikullil-lahushāamāillānafʿanwalāḍarranlinafsīamlikulāqul
SayNotI have powerfor myself(for) any harmand not(for) any profitexceptwhatAllah willsAllah willsFor everynation(is) a termWhencomestheir termthen notthey remain behindan hourand notthey can precede (it)
10:49
قُلْأَرَءَيْتُمْإِنْأَتَىٰكُمْعَذَابُهُۥبَيَـٰتًاأَوْنَهَارًۭامَّاذَايَسْتَعْجِلُمِنْهُٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
l-muj'rimūnamin'huyastaʿjilumādhānahāranawbayātanʿadhābuhuatākuminara-aytumqul
SayDo you seeifcomes to youHis punishment(by) nightor(by) daywhat (portion)of it would (wish to) hastenof it would (wish to) hastenthe criminals
10:50
أَثُمَّإِذَامَاوَقَعَءَامَنتُمبِهِۦٓ ۚءَآلْـَٔـٰنَوَقَدْكُنتُمبِهِۦتَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
tastaʿjilūnabihikuntumwaqadāl'ānabihiāmantumwaqaʿamāidhāathumma
Is (it) thenwhenwhen(it had) occurredyou (will) believein itNowAnd certainlyyou wereseeking to hasten itseeking to hasten it
10:51
ثُمَّقِيلَلِلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟ذُوقُوا۟عَذَابَٱلْخُلْدِهَلْتُجْزَوْنَإِلَّابِمَاكُنتُمْتَكْسِبُونَ
taksibūnakuntumbimāillātuj'zawnahall-khul'diʿadhābadhūqūẓalamūlilladhīnaqīlathumma
Thenit will be saidto those whowrongedTastepunishmentthe everlastingAre you (being) recompensedAre you (being) recompensedexceptfor whatyou used (to)earn
10:52
۞ وَيَسْتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَأَحَقٌّهُوَ ۖقُلْإِىوَرَبِّىٓإِنَّهُۥلَحَقٌّۭ ۖوَمَآأَنتُمبِمُعْجِزِينَ
bimuʿ'jizīnaantumwamālaḥaqquninnahuwarabbīīqulhuwaaḥaqqunwayastanbiūnaka
And they ask you to informIs it trueIs it trueSayYesby my LordIndeed, it(is) surely the truthand notyou(can) escape (it)
10:53
وَلَوْأَنَّلِكُلِّنَفْسٍۢظَلَمَتْمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِلَٱفْتَدَتْبِهِۦ ۗوَأَسَرُّوا۟ٱلنَّدَامَةَلَمَّارَأَوُا۟ٱلْعَذَابَ ۖوَقُضِىَبَيْنَهُمبِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚوَهُمْلَايُظْلَمُونَ
yuẓ'lamūnalāwahumbil-qis'ṭibaynahumwaquḍiyal-ʿadhābara-awūlammāl-nadāmatawa-asarrūbihila-if'tadatl-arḍifīmāẓalamatnafsinlikulliannawalaw
And ifthatfor everysoul(that) wrongedwhatever(is) inthe earthit (would) seek to ransomwith itand they (will) confidethe regretwhenthey seethe punishmentBut will be judgedbetween themin justiceand they(will) not(be) wronged
10:54
أَلَآإِنَّلِلَّهِمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗأَلَآإِنَّوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقٌّۭوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāaktharahumwalākinnaḥaqqunl-lahiwaʿdainnaalāwal-arḍil-samāwātifīmālillahiinnaalā
No doubtindeedfor Allah(is) whatever(is) inthe heavensand the earthNo doubtindeed(the) Promise of Allah(the) Promise of Allah(is) trueButmost of them(do) notknow
10:55
هُوَيُحْىِۦوَيُمِيتُوَإِلَيْهِتُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūnawa-ilayhiwayumītuyuḥ'yīhuwa
Hegives lifeand causes deathand to Himyou will be returned
10:56
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُقَدْجَآءَتْكُممَّوْعِظَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّكُمْوَشِفَآءٌۭلِّمَافِىٱلصُّدُورِوَهُدًۭىوَرَحْمَةٌۭلِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
lil'mu'minīnawaraḥmatunwahudanl-ṣudūrifīlimāwashifāonrabbikumminmawʿiẓatunjāatkumqadl-nāsuyāayyuhā
O mankindO mankindVerilyhas come to youan instructionfromyour Lordand a healingfor what(is) inyour breastsand guidanceand mercyfor the believers
10:57
قُلْبِفَضْلِٱللَّهِوَبِرَحْمَتِهِۦفَبِذَٰلِكَفَلْيَفْرَحُوا۟هُوَخَيْرٌۭمِّمَّايَجْمَعُونَ
yajmaʿūnamimmākhayrunhuwafalyafraḥūfabidhālikawabiraḥmatihil-lahibifaḍliqul
SayIn the Bounty(of) Allahand in His Mercyso in thatlet them rejoiceIt(is) betterthan whatthey accumulate
10:58
قُلْأَرَءَيْتُممَّآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُلَكُممِّنرِّزْقٍۢفَجَعَلْتُممِّنْهُحَرَامًۭاوَحَلَـٰلًۭاقُلْءَآللَّهُأَذِنَلَكُمْ ۖأَمْعَلَىٱللَّهِتَفْتَرُونَ
taftarūnal-lahiʿalāamlakumadhinaāllahuqulwaḥalālanḥarāmanmin'hufajaʿaltumriz'qinminlakuml-lahuanzalamāara-aytumqul
SayHave you seenwhat(has been) sent down(by) Allahfor youof(the) provisionand you have madeof itunlawfuland lawfulSayHas Allahpermitted[to] youoraboutAllahyou invent (lies)
10:59
وَمَاظَنُّٱلَّذِينَيَفْتَرُونَعَلَىٱللَّهِٱلْكَذِبَيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَلَذُوفَضْلٍعَلَىٱلنَّاسِوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَهُمْلَايَشْكُرُونَ
yashkurūnalāaktharahumwalākinnal-nāsiʿalāfaḍlinladhūl-lahainnal-qiyāmatiyawmal-kadhibal-lahiʿalāyaftarūnaalladhīnaẓannuwamā
And what(will be the) assumption(of) those whoinventagainstAllahthe lie(on) the Day(of) the JudgmentIndeedAllah(is) surely Full (of) Bounty(is) surely Full (of) Bountytothe mankindbutmost of them(are) notgrateful
10:60
وَمَاتَكُونُفِىشَأْنٍۢوَمَاتَتْلُوا۟مِنْهُمِنقُرْءَانٍۢوَلَاتَعْمَلُونَمِنْعَمَلٍإِلَّاكُنَّاعَلَيْكُمْشُهُودًاإِذْتُفِيضُونَفِيهِ ۚوَمَايَعْزُبُعَنرَّبِّكَمِنمِّثْقَالِذَرَّةٍۢفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَلَافِىٱلسَّمَآءِوَلَآأَصْغَرَمِنذَٰلِكَوَلَآأَكْبَرَإِلَّافِىكِتَـٰبٍۢمُّبِينٍ
mubīninkitābinfīillāakbarawalādhālikaminaṣgharawalāl-samāifīwalāl-arḍifīdharratinmith'qāliminrabbikaʿanyaʿzubuwamāfīhitufīḍūnaidhshuhūdanʿalaykumkunnāillāʿamalinmintaʿmalūnawalāqur'āninminmin'hutatlūwamāshaninfītakūnuwamā
And notyou are[in]any situationand notyou reciteof itfrom(the) Quranand notyou doanydeedexceptWe areover youwitnesseswhenyou are engagedin itAnd notescapesfromyour Lordof(the) weight(of) an atominthe earthand notinthe heavensand notsmallerthanthatand notgreaterbut(is) ina Recordclear
10:61
أَلَآإِنَّأَوْلِيَآءَٱللَّهِلَاخَوْفٌعَلَيْهِمْوَلَاهُمْيَحْزَنُونَ
yaḥzanūnahumwalāʿalayhimkhawfunlāl-lahiawliyāainnaalā
No doubtIndeed(the) friends(of) Allah(there will be) nofearupon thenand nottheywill grieve
10:62
ٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَكَانُوا۟يَتَّقُونَ
yattaqūnawakānūāmanūalladhīna
Those whobelieveand areconscious (of Allah)
10:63
لَهُمُٱلْبُشْرَىٰفِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاوَفِىٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚلَاتَبْدِيلَلِكَلِمَـٰتِٱللَّهِ ۚذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلْفَوْزُٱلْعَظِيمُ
l-ʿaẓīmul-fawzuhuwadhālikal-lahilikalimātitabdīlalāl-ākhiratiwafīl-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīl-bush'rālahumu
For them(are) the glad tidingsinthe life(of) the worldand inthe HereafterNochange(is there) in the Words(of) AllahThatisthe successthe great
10:64
وَلَايَحْزُنكَقَوْلُهُمْ ۘإِنَّٱلْعِزَّةَلِلَّهِجَمِيعًا ۚهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-samīʿuhuwajamīʿanlillahil-ʿizatainnaqawluhumyaḥzunkawalā
And (let) notgrieve youtheir speechIndeedthe honor(belongs) to AllahallHe(is) the All-Hearerthe All-Knower
10:65
أَلَآإِنَّلِلَّهِمَنفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَنفِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۗوَمَايَتَّبِعُٱلَّذِينَيَدْعُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِشُرَكَآءَ ۚإِنيَتَّبِعُونَإِلَّاٱلظَّنَّوَإِنْهُمْإِلَّايَخْرُصُونَ
yakhruṣūnaillāhumwa-inl-ẓanaillāyattabiʿūnainshurakāal-lahidūniminyadʿūnaalladhīnayattabiʿuwamāl-arḍifīwamanl-samāwātifīmanlillahiinnaalā
No doubtIndeedto Allah (belongs)whoever(is) inthe heavensand whoever(is) inthe earthAnd notfollowthose whoinvokeother than Allahother than Allahother than AllahpartnersNotthey followbutthe assumptionand nottheybutguess
10:66
هُوَٱلَّذِىجَعَلَلَكُمُٱلَّيْلَلِتَسْكُنُوا۟فِيهِوَٱلنَّهَارَمُبْصِرًا ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيَسْمَعُونَ
yasmaʿūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnamub'ṣiranwal-nahārafīhilitaskunūal-laylalakumujaʿalaalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whomadefor youthe nightthat you may restin itand the daygiving visibilityIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor a people(who) listen
10:67
قَالُوا۟ٱتَّخَذَٱللَّهُوَلَدًۭا ۗسُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ ۖهُوَٱلْغَنِىُّ ۖلَهُۥمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۚإِنْعِندَكُممِّنسُلْطَـٰنٍۭبِهَـٰذَآ ۚأَتَقُولُونَعَلَىٱللَّهِمَالَاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalāmāl-lahiʿalāataqūlūnabihādhāsul'ṭāninminʿindakuminl-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmālahul-ghaniyuhuwasub'ḥānahuwaladanl-lahuittakhadhaqālū
They sayAllah has takenAllah has takena sonGlory be to HimHe(is) the Self-sufficientTo Him (belongs)whatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earthNotyou haveanyauthorityfor thisDo you sayaboutAllahwhatnotyou know
10:68
قُلْإِنَّٱلَّذِينَيَفْتَرُونَعَلَىٱللَّهِٱلْكَذِبَلَايُفْلِحُونَ
yuf'liḥūnalāl-kadhibal-lahiʿalāyaftarūnaalladhīnainnaqul
SayIndeedthose whoinventagainstAllahthe liethey will not succeedthey will not succeed
10:69
مَتَـٰعٌۭفِىٱلدُّنْيَاثُمَّإِلَيْنَامَرْجِعُهُمْثُمَّنُذِيقُهُمُٱلْعَذَابَٱلشَّدِيدَبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَكْفُرُونَ
yakfurūnakānūbimāl-shadīdal-ʿadhābanudhīquhumuthummamarjiʿuhumilaynāthummal-dun'yāfīmatāʿun
An enjoymentinthe worldthento Us(is) their returnthenWe will make them tastethe punishmentthe severebecausethey used todisbelieve
10:70
۞ وَٱتْلُعَلَيْهِمْنَبَأَنُوحٍإِذْقَالَلِقَوْمِهِۦيَـٰقَوْمِإِنكَانَكَبُرَعَلَيْكُممَّقَامِىوَتَذْكِيرِىبِـَٔايَـٰتِٱللَّهِفَعَلَىٱللَّهِتَوَكَّلْتُفَأَجْمِعُوٓا۟أَمْرَكُمْوَشُرَكَآءَكُمْثُمَّلَايَكُنْأَمْرُكُمْعَلَيْكُمْغُمَّةًۭثُمَّٱقْضُوٓا۟إِلَىَّوَلَاتُنظِرُونِ
tunẓirūniwalāilayyaiq'ḍūthummaghummatanʿalaykumamrukumyakunlāthummawashurakāakumamrakumfa-ajmiʿūtawakkaltul-lahifaʿalāl-lahibiāyātiwatadhkīrīmaqāmīʿalaykumkaburakānainyāqawmiliqawmihiqālaidhnūḥinnaba-aʿalayhimwa-ut'lu
And reciteto themthe news(of) Nuhwhenhe saidto his peopleO my peopleIfishardon youmy stayand my remindingthe Signs of Allahthe Signs of Allahthen onAllahI put my trustSo you all resolveyour planand your partnersThenlet not belet not be(in) your planfor youany doubtThencarry (it out)upon meand (do) notgive me respite
10:71
فَإِنتَوَلَّيْتُمْفَمَاسَأَلْتُكُممِّنْأَجْرٍ ۖإِنْأَجْرِىَإِلَّاعَلَىٱللَّهِ ۖوَأُمِرْتُأَنْأَكُونَمِنَٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
l-mus'limīnaminaakūnaanwa-umir'tul-lahiʿalāillāajriyainajrinminsa-altukumfamātawallaytumfa-in
But ifyou turn awaythen notI have asked youanyrewardNot(is) my rewardbutonAllahand I have been commandedthatI beofthe Muslims
10:72
فَكَذَّبُوهُفَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُوَمَنمَّعَهُۥفِىٱلْفُلْكِوَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْخَلَـٰٓئِفَوَأَغْرَقْنَاٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا ۖفَٱنظُرْكَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلْمُنذَرِينَ
l-mundharīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafa-unẓurbiāyātinākadhabūalladhīnawa-aghraqnākhalāifawajaʿalnāhuml-ful'kifīmaʿahuwamanfanajjaynāhufakadhabūhu
But they denied himso We saved himand (those) who(were) with himinthe shipand We made themsuccessorsand We drownedthose whodeniedOur SignsThen seehowwas(the) end(of) those who were warned
10:73
ثُمَّبَعَثْنَامِنۢبَعْدِهِۦرُسُلًاإِلَىٰقَوْمِهِمْفَجَآءُوهُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِفَمَاكَانُوا۟لِيُؤْمِنُوا۟بِمَاكَذَّبُوا۟بِهِۦمِنقَبْلُ ۚكَذَٰلِكَنَطْبَعُعَلَىٰقُلُوبِٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
l-muʿ'tadīnaqulūbiʿalānaṭbaʿukadhālikaqabluminbihikadhabūbimāliyu'minūkānūfamābil-bayinātifajāūhumqawmihimilārusulanbaʿdihiminbaʿathnāthumma
ThenWe sentafter himafter himMessengerstotheir peopleand they came to themwith clear proofsBut notthey wereto believewhatthey had denied[it]beforebeforeThusWe seal[on]the hearts(of) the transgressors
10:74
ثُمَّبَعَثْنَامِنۢبَعْدِهِممُّوسَىٰوَهَـٰرُونَإِلَىٰفِرْعَوْنَوَمَلَإِي۟هِۦبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَافَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟وَكَانُوا۟قَوْمًۭامُّجْرِمِينَ
muj'rimīnaqawmanwakānūfa-is'takbarūbiāyātināwamala-ihifir'ʿawnailāwahārūnamūsābaʿdihimminbaʿathnāthumma
ThenWe sentafter themafter themMusaand HaruntoFiraunand his chiefswith Our Signsbut they were arrogantand werea peoplecriminal
10:75
فَلَمَّاجَآءَهُمُٱلْحَقُّمِنْعِندِنَاقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّهَـٰذَالَسِحْرٌۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunlasiḥ'runhādhāinnaqālūʿindināminl-ḥaqujāahumufalammā
So whencame to themthe truthfrom Usfrom Usthey saidIndeedthis(is) surely, a magicclear
10:76
قَالَمُوسَىٰٓأَتَقُولُونَلِلْحَقِّلَمَّاجَآءَكُمْ ۖأَسِحْرٌهَـٰذَاوَلَايُفْلِحُٱلسَّـٰحِرُونَ
l-sāḥirūnayuf'liḥuwalāhādhāasiḥ'runjāakumlammālil'ḥaqqiataqūlūnamūsāqāla
Musa saidMusa saidDo you sayabout the truthwhenit has come to youIs this magicIs this magicBut (will) notsucceedthe magicians
10:77
قَالُوٓا۟أَجِئْتَنَالِتَلْفِتَنَاعَمَّاوَجَدْنَاعَلَيْهِءَابَآءَنَاوَتَكُونَلَكُمَاٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَمَانَحْنُلَكُمَابِمُؤْمِنِينَ
bimu'minīnalakumānaḥnuwamāl-arḍifīl-kib'riyāulakumāwatakūnaābāanāʿalayhiwajadnāʿammālitalfitanāaji'tanāqālū
They saidHave you come to usto turn us awayfrom thatwe foundon itour forefathersand you two (may) haveand you two (may) havethe greatnessinthe landAnd we (are) notAnd we (are) not(in) you twobelievers
10:78
وَقَالَفِرْعَوْنُٱئْتُونِىبِكُلِّسَـٰحِرٍعَلِيمٍۢ
ʿalīminsāḥirinbikullii'tūnīfir'ʿawnuwaqāla
And Firaun saidAnd Firaun saidBring to meeverymagicianlearned
10:79
فَلَمَّاجَآءَٱلسَّحَرَةُقَالَلَهُممُّوسَىٰٓأَلْقُوا۟مَآأَنتُممُّلْقُونَ
mul'qūnaantummāalqūmūsālahumqālal-saḥaratujāafalammā
So whencamethe magicianssaidto themMusaThrowwhateveryou(wish to) throw
10:80
فَلَمَّآأَلْقَوْا۟قَالَمُوسَىٰمَاجِئْتُمبِهِٱلسِّحْرُ ۖإِنَّٱللَّهَسَيُبْطِلُهُۥٓ ۖإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايُصْلِحُعَمَلَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
l-muf'sidīnaʿamalayuṣ'liḥulāl-lahainnasayub'ṭiluhul-lahainnal-siḥ'rubihiji'tummāmūsāqālaalqawfalammā
Then whenthey (had) thrownMusa saidMusa saidWhatyou have brought[it](is) the magicIndeedAllahwill nullify itIndeedAllah(does) notamendthe work(of) the corrupters
10:81
وَيُحِقُّٱللَّهُٱلْحَقَّبِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦوَلَوْكَرِهَٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
l-muj'rimūnakarihawalawbikalimātihil-ḥaqal-lahuwayuḥiqqu
And Allah will establishAnd Allah will establishthe truthby His wordseven ifdislike itthe criminals
10:82
فَمَآءَامَنَلِمُوسَىٰٓإِلَّاذُرِّيَّةٌۭمِّنقَوْمِهِۦعَلَىٰخَوْفٍۢمِّنفِرْعَوْنَوَمَلَإِي۟هِمْأَنيَفْتِنَهُمْ ۚوَإِنَّفِرْعَوْنَلَعَالٍۢفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَإِنَّهُۥلَمِنَٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
l-mus'rifīnalaminawa-innahul-arḍifīlaʿālinfir'ʿawnawa-innayaftinahumanwamala-ihimfir'ʿawnaminkhawfinʿalāqawmihimindhurriyyatunillālimūsāāmanafamā
But nonebelievedMusaexcept(the) offspringamonghis peopleforfearofFiraunand their chiefslestthey persecute themAnd indeedFiraun(was) a tyrantinthe earthand indeed, he(was) ofthe ones who commit excesses
10:83
وَقَالَمُوسَىٰيَـٰقَوْمِإِنكُنتُمْءَامَنتُمبِٱللَّهِفَعَلَيْهِتَوَكَّلُوٓا۟إِنكُنتُممُّسْلِمِينَ
mus'limīnakuntumintawakkalūfaʿalayhibil-lahiāmantumkuntuminyāqawmimūsāwaqāla
And Musa saidAnd Musa saidO my peopleIfyou havebelievedin Allahthen on Himput your trustifyou areMuslims
10:84
فَقَالُوا۟عَلَىٱللَّهِتَوَكَّلْنَارَبَّنَالَاتَجْعَلْنَافِتْنَةًۭلِّلْقَوْمِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnalil'qawmifit'natantajʿalnālārabbanātawakkalnāl-lahiʿalāfaqālū
Then they saidUponAllahwe put our trustOur Lord(Do) notmake usa trialfor the people the wrongdoers
10:85
وَنَجِّنَابِرَحْمَتِكَمِنَٱلْقَوْمِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīnal-qawmiminabiraḥmatikawanajjinā
And save usby Your Mercyfromthe people the disbelievers
10:86
وَأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَىٰمُوسَىٰوَأَخِيهِأَنتَبَوَّءَالِقَوْمِكُمَابِمِصْرَبُيُوتًۭاوَٱجْعَلُوا۟بُيُوتَكُمْقِبْلَةًۭوَأَقِيمُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۗوَبَشِّرِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīnawabashiril-ṣalatawa-aqīmūqib'latanbuyūtakumwa-ij'ʿalūbuyūtanbimiṣ'raliqawmikumātabawwaāanwa-akhīhimūsāilāwa-awḥaynā
And We inspiredtoMusaand his brotherthatSettleyour peoplein Egypt(in) housesand makeyour houses(as) places of worshipand establishthe prayerAnd give glad tidings(to) the believers
10:87
وَقَالَمُوسَىٰرَبَّنَآإِنَّكَءَاتَيْتَفِرْعَوْنَوَمَلَأَهُۥزِينَةًۭوَأَمْوَٰلًۭافِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَارَبَّنَالِيُضِلُّوا۟عَنسَبِيلِكَ ۖرَبَّنَاٱطْمِسْعَلَىٰٓأَمْوَٰلِهِمْوَٱشْدُدْعَلَىٰقُلُوبِهِمْفَلَايُؤْمِنُوا۟حَتَّىٰيَرَوُا۟ٱلْعَذَابَٱلْأَلِيمَ
l-alīmal-ʿadhābayarawūḥattāyu'minūfalāqulūbihimʿalāwa-ush'dudamwālihimʿalāiṭ'misrabbanāsabīlikaʿanliyuḍillūrabbanāl-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīwa-amwālanzīnatanwamala-ahufir'ʿawnaātaytainnakarabbanāmūsāwaqāla
And Musa saidAnd Musa saidOur LordIndeed, Youhave givenFiraunand his chiefssplendorand wealthinthe life(of) the worldOur LordThat they may lead astrayfromYour wayOur LordDestroy[on]their wealthand harden[on]their heartsso (that) notthey believeuntilthey seethe punishment the painful
10:88
قَالَقَدْأُجِيبَتدَّعْوَتُكُمَافَٱسْتَقِيمَاوَلَاتَتَّبِعَآنِّسَبِيلَٱلَّذِينَلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāalladhīnasabīlatattabiʿānniwalāfa-is'taqīmādaʿwatukumāujībatqadqāla
He saidVerilyhas been answered(the) invocation of both of youSo you two (keep to the) straight wayAnd (do) notfollow(the) way(of) those who(do) notknow
10:89
۞ وَجَـٰوَزْنَابِبَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَٱلْبَحْرَفَأَتْبَعَهُمْفِرْعَوْنُوَجُنُودُهُۥبَغْيًۭاوَعَدْوًا ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَآأَدْرَكَهُٱلْغَرَقُقَالَءَامَنتُأَنَّهُۥلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاٱلَّذِىٓءَامَنَتْبِهِۦبَنُوٓا۟إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَوَأَنَا۠مِنَٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
l-mus'limīnaminawa-anāis'rāīlabanūbihiāmanatalladhīillāilāhalāannahuāmantuqālal-gharaquadrakahuidhāḥattāwaʿadwanbaghyanwajunūduhufir'ʿawnufa-atbaʿahuml-baḥrais'rāīlabibanīwajāwaznā
And We took across(the) Children(of) Israel the seaand followed themFiraunand his hosts(in) rebellionand enmityuntilwhenovertook himthe drowninghe saidI believethat(there is) nogodexceptthe Onein Whom believein Whom believethe Children of Israelthe Children of Israeland I amofthe Muslims
10:90
ءَآلْـَٔـٰنَوَقَدْعَصَيْتَقَبْلُوَكُنتَمِنَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
l-muf'sidīnaminawakuntaqabluʿaṣaytawaqadāl'āna
NowAnd verilyyou (had) disobeyedbeforeand you wereofthe corrupters
10:91
فَٱلْيَوْمَنُنَجِّيكَبِبَدَنِكَلِتَكُونَلِمَنْخَلْفَكَءَايَةًۭ ۚوَإِنَّكَثِيرًۭامِّنَٱلنَّاسِعَنْءَايَـٰتِنَالَغَـٰفِلُونَ
laghāfilūnaāyātināʿanl-nāsiminakathīranwa-innaāyatankhalfakalimanlitakūnabibadanikanunajjīkafal-yawma
So todayWe will save youin your bodythat you may befor (those) whosucceed youa signAnd indeedmanyamongthe mankindofOur Signs(are) surely heedless
10:92
وَلَقَدْبَوَّأْنَابَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَمُبَوَّأَصِدْقٍۢوَرَزَقْنَـٰهُممِّنَٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِفَمَاٱخْتَلَفُوا۟حَتَّىٰجَآءَهُمُٱلْعِلْمُ ۚإِنَّرَبَّكَيَقْضِىبَيْنَهُمْيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِفِيمَاكَانُوا۟فِيهِيَخْتَلِفُونَ
yakhtalifūnafīhikānūfīmāl-qiyāmatiyawmabaynahumyaqḍīrabbakainnal-ʿil'mujāahumuḥattāikh'talafūfamāl-ṭayibātiminawarazaqnāhumṣid'qinmubawwa-ais'rāīlabanībawwanāwalaqad
And verilyWe settled(the) Children(of) Israel(in) a settlementhonorableand We provided themwiththe good thingsand notthey differuntilcame to themthe knowledgeIndeedyour Lordwill judgebetween them(on) the Day(of) the Resurrectionconcerning whatthey used (to)[in it]differ
10:93
فَإِنكُنتَفِىشَكٍّۢمِّمَّآأَنزَلْنَآإِلَيْكَفَسْـَٔلِٱلَّذِينَيَقْرَءُونَٱلْكِتَـٰبَمِنقَبْلِكَ ۚلَقَدْجَآءَكَٱلْحَقُّمِنرَّبِّكَفَلَاتَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ
l-mum'tarīnaminatakūnannafalārabbikaminl-ḥaqujāakalaqadqablikaminl-kitābayaqraūnaalladhīnafasaliilaykaanzalnāmimmāshakkinfīkuntafa-in
So ifyou areindoubtof whatWe have revealedto youthen askthose who(have been) readingthe Bookbefore youbefore youVerilyhas come to youthe truthfromyour Lordso (do) notbeamongthe doubters
10:94
وَلَاتَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِٱللَّهِفَتَكُونَمِنَٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
l-khāsirīnaminafatakūnal-lahibiāyātikadhabūalladhīnaminatakūnannawalā
And (do) notbeofthose whodeny(the) Signs of Allah(the) Signs of Allahthen you will beamongthe losers
10:95
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَحَقَّتْعَلَيْهِمْكَلِمَتُرَبِّكَلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalārabbikakalimatuʿalayhimḥaqqatalladhīnainna
Indeedthose [whom]has become dueon them(the) Word(of) your Lordwill notbelieve
10:96
وَلَوْجَآءَتْهُمْكُلُّءَايَةٍحَتَّىٰيَرَوُا۟ٱلْعَذَابَٱلْأَلِيمَ
l-alīmal-ʿadhābayarawūḥattāāyatinkullujāathumwalaw
Even ifcomes to themeverySignuntilthey seethe punishment the painful
10:97
فَلَوْلَاكَانَتْقَرْيَةٌءَامَنَتْفَنَفَعَهَآإِيمَـٰنُهَآإِلَّاقَوْمَيُونُسَلَمَّآءَامَنُوا۟كَشَفْنَاعَنْهُمْعَذَابَٱلْخِزْىِفِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاوَمَتَّعْنَـٰهُمْإِلَىٰحِينٍۢ
ḥīninilāwamattaʿnāhuml-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīl-khiz'yiʿadhābaʿanhumkashafnāāmanūlammāyūnusaqawmaillāīmānuhāfanafaʿahāāmanatqaryatunkānatfalawlā
So why notwasany townthat believedand benefited itits faithexceptthe people(of) YunusWhenthey believedWe removedfrom them(the) punishment(of) the disgraceinthe lifeof the worldand We granted them enjoymentfora time
10:98
وَلَوْشَآءَرَبُّكَلَـَٔامَنَمَنفِىٱلْأَرْضِكُلُّهُمْجَمِيعًا ۚأَفَأَنتَتُكْرِهُٱلنَّاسَحَتَّىٰيَكُونُوا۟مُؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīnayakūnūḥattāl-nāsatuk'rihuafa-antajamīʿankulluhuml-arḍifīmanlaāmanarabbukashāawalaw
And if(had) willedyour Lordsurely, (would) have believedwho(are) inthe earthall of themtogetherThen, will youcompelthe mankinduntilthey becomebelievers
10:99
وَمَاكَانَلِنَفْسٍأَنتُؤْمِنَإِلَّابِإِذْنِٱللَّهِ ۚوَيَجْعَلُٱلرِّجْسَعَلَىٱلَّذِينَلَايَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnalāalladhīnaʿalāl-rij'sawayajʿalul-lahibi-idh'niillātu'minaanlinafsinkānawamā
And notisfor a soultobelieveexceptby (the) permission(of) AllahAnd He will placethe wrathonthose who(do) notuse reason
10:100
قُلِٱنظُرُوا۟مَاذَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚوَمَاتُغْنِىٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُوَٱلنُّذُرُعَنقَوْمٍۢلَّايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalāqawminʿanwal-nudhurul-āyātutugh'nīwamāwal-arḍil-samāwātifīmādhāunẓurūquli
SaySeewhat(is) inthe heavensand the earthBut notwill availthe Signsand the warnerstoa people(who do) notbelieve
10:101
فَهَلْيَنتَظِرُونَإِلَّامِثْلَأَيَّامِٱلَّذِينَخَلَوْا۟مِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۚقُلْفَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟إِنِّىمَعَكُممِّنَٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ
l-muntaẓirīnaminamaʿakuminnīfa-intaẓirūqulqablihimminkhalawalladhīnaayyāmimith'laillāyantaẓirūnafahal
Then dothey waitexceptlikethe days(of) those whopassed awaybefore thembefore themSayThen waitindeed, I (am)with youamongthe ones who wait
10:102
ثُمَّنُنَجِّىرُسُلَنَاوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ ۚكَذَٰلِكَحَقًّاعَلَيْنَانُنجِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīnanunjiʿalaynāḥaqqankadhālikaāmanūwa-alladhīnarusulanānunajjīthumma
ThenWe will saveOur Messengersand those whobelieveThus(it is) an obligationupon Us(that) We savethe believers
10:103
قُلْيَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُإِنكُنتُمْفِىشَكٍّۢمِّندِينِىفَلَآأَعْبُدُٱلَّذِينَتَعْبُدُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِوَلَـٰكِنْأَعْبُدُٱللَّهَٱلَّذِىيَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ ۖوَأُمِرْتُأَنْأَكُونَمِنَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīnaminaakūnaanwa-umir'tuyatawaffākumalladhīl-lahaaʿbuduwalākinl-lahidūnimintaʿbudūnaalladhīnaaʿbudufalādīnīminshakkinfīkuntuminl-nāsuyāayyuhāqul
SayO mankindO mankindIfyou areindoubtofmy religionthen notI worshipthose whomyou worshipbesides Allahbesides Allahbesides AllahbutI worshipAllahthe One Whocauses you to dieAnd I am commandedthatI beofthe believers
10:104
وَأَنْأَقِمْوَجْهَكَلِلدِّينِحَنِيفًۭاوَلَاتَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
l-mush'rikīnaminatakūnannawalāḥanīfanlilddīniwajhakaaqimwa-an
And thatDirectyour faceto the religionuprightand (do) notbeofthe polytheists
10:105
وَلَاتَدْعُمِندُونِٱللَّهِمَالَايَنفَعُكَوَلَايَضُرُّكَ ۖفَإِنفَعَلْتَفَإِنَّكَإِذًۭامِّنَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnaminaidhanfa-innakafaʿaltafa-inyaḍurrukawalāyanfaʿukalāmāl-lahidūnimintadʿuwalā
And (do) notinvokebesides Allahbesides Allahbesides Allahwhat(will) notbenefit youand notharm youBut ifyou did soindeed, youthen (will be)ofthe wrongdoers
10:106
وَإِنيَمْسَسْكَٱللَّهُبِضُرٍّۢفَلَاكَاشِفَلَهُۥٓإِلَّاهُوَ ۖوَإِنيُرِدْكَبِخَيْرٍۢفَلَارَآدَّلِفَضْلِهِۦ ۚيُصِيبُبِهِۦمَنيَشَآءُمِنْعِبَادِهِۦ ۚوَهُوَٱلْغَفُورُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-ghafūruwahuwaʿibādihiminyashāumanbihiyuṣībulifaḍlihirāddafalābikhayrinyurid'kawa-inhuwaillālahukāshifafalābiḍurrinl-lahuyamsaskawa-in
And ifAllah touches youAllah touches youwith adversity(there is) noremoverof itexceptHimand ifHe intends for youany goodthen (there is) norepeller(of) His BountyHe causes it to reachHe causes it to reachwhomHe willsofHis slavesAnd He(is) the Oft-Forgivingthe Most Merciful
10:107
قُلْيَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُقَدْجَآءَكُمُٱلْحَقُّمِنرَّبِّكُمْ ۖفَمَنِٱهْتَدَىٰفَإِنَّمَايَهْتَدِىلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖوَمَنضَلَّفَإِنَّمَايَضِلُّعَلَيْهَا ۖوَمَآأَنَا۠عَلَيْكُمبِوَكِيلٍۢ
biwakīlinʿalaykumanāwamāʿalayhāyaḍillufa-innamāḍallawamanlinafsihiyahtadīfa-innamāih'tadāfamanirabbikumminl-ḥaqujāakumuqadl-nāsuyāayyuhāqul
SayO mankindO mankindVerilyhas come to youthe truthfromyour LordSo whoever(is) guidedthen only(he is) guidedfor his souland whoevergoes astraythen onlyhe straysagainst itAnd I am notAnd I am notover youa guardian
10:108
وَٱتَّبِعْمَايُوحَىٰٓإِلَيْكَوَٱصْبِرْحَتَّىٰيَحْكُمَٱللَّهُ ۚوَهُوَخَيْرُٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ
l-ḥākimīnakhayruwahuwal-lahuyaḥkumaḥattāwa-iṣ'birilaykayūḥāmāwa-ittabiʿ
And followwhatis revealedto youand be patientuntilAllah gives judgmentAllah gives judgmentAnd He(is) the Best(of) the Judges
10:109
Basmala
الٓر ۚكِتَـٰبٌأُحْكِمَتْءَايَـٰتُهُۥثُمَّفُصِّلَتْمِنلَّدُنْحَكِيمٍخَبِيرٍ
khabīrinḥakīminladunminfuṣṣilatthummaāyātuhuuḥ'kimatkitābunalif-lam-ra
Alif Lam Ra(This is) a Bookare perfectedits Versesmoreoverexplained in detailfrom (he One Who)from (he One Who)(is) All-WiseAll-Aware
11:1
أَلَّاتَعْبُدُوٓا۟إِلَّاٱللَّهَ ۚإِنَّنِىلَكُممِّنْهُنَذِيرٌۭوَبَشِيرٌۭ
wabashīrunnadhīrunmin'hulakuminnanīl-lahaillātaʿbudūallā
That "Notyou worshipbutAllahIndeed, I amto youfrom Hima warnerand a bearer of glad tidings
11:2
وَأَنِٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟رَبَّكُمْثُمَّتُوبُوٓا۟إِلَيْهِيُمَتِّعْكُممَّتَـٰعًاحَسَنًاإِلَىٰٓأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّۭىوَيُؤْتِكُلَّذِىفَضْلٍۢفَضْلَهُۥ ۖوَإِنتَوَلَّوْا۟فَإِنِّىٓأَخَافُعَلَيْكُمْعَذَابَيَوْمٍۢكَبِيرٍ
kabīrinyawminʿadhābaʿalaykumakhāfufa-innītawallawwa-infaḍlahufaḍlindhīkullawayu'timusammanajalinilāḥasananmatāʿanyumattiʿ'kumilayhitūbūthummarabbakumis'taghfirūwa-ani
And thatSeek forgiveness(of) your Lordandturn in repentanceto HimHe will let youenjoya goodfora termappointedAnd give(to) everyowner(of) graceHis GraceBut ifyou turn awaythen indeed, Ifearfor you(the) punishment(of) a Great Day(of) a Great Day
11:3
إِلَىٱللَّهِمَرْجِعُكُمْ ۖوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرٌ
qadīrunshayinkulliʿalāwahuwamarjiʿukuml-lahiilā
ToAllah(is) your returnand He(is) oneverythingAll-Powerful
11:4
أَلَآإِنَّهُمْيَثْنُونَصُدُورَهُمْلِيَسْتَخْفُوا۟مِنْهُ ۚأَلَاحِينَيَسْتَغْشُونَثِيَابَهُمْيَعْلَمُمَايُسِرُّونَوَمَايُعْلِنُونَ ۚإِنَّهُۥعَلِيمٌۢبِذَاتِٱلصُّدُورِ
l-ṣudūribidhātiʿalīmuninnahuyuʿ'linūnawamāyusirrūnamāyaʿlamuthiyābahumyastaghshūnaḥīnaalāmin'huliyastakhfūṣudūrahumyathnūnainnahumalā
No doubtTheyfold uptheir breaststhat they may hidefrom HimSurelywhenthey cover (themselves)(with) their garmentsHe knowswhatthey concealand whatthey revealIndeed, He(is) All-Knowerof what(is in) the breasts
11:5
