Basmala
۞ وَمَآأُبَرِّئُنَفْسِىٓ ۚإِنَّٱلنَّفْسَلَأَمَّارَةٌۢبِٱلسُّوٓءِإِلَّامَارَحِمَرَبِّىٓ ۚإِنَّرَبِّىغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunghafūrunrabbīinnarabbīraḥimamāillābil-sūila-ammāratunl-nafsainnanafsīubarri-uwamā
And notI absolvemyselfIndeedthe soul(is) a certain enjoinerof evilunless[that]bestows Mercymy LordIndeedmy Lord(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
12:53
وَقَالَٱلْمَلِكُٱئْتُونِىبِهِۦٓأَسْتَخْلِصْهُلِنَفْسِى ۖفَلَمَّاكَلَّمَهُۥقَالَإِنَّكَٱلْيَوْمَلَدَيْنَامَكِينٌأَمِينٌۭ
amīnunmakīnunladaynāl-yawmainnakaqālakallamahufalammālinafsīastakhliṣ'hubihii'tūnīl-malikuwaqāla
And saidthe kingBring him to meBring him to meI will select himfor myselfThen whenhe spoke to himhe saidIndeed, you(are) todaywith usfirmly established(and) trusted
12:54
قَالَٱجْعَلْنِىعَلَىٰخَزَآئِنِٱلْأَرْضِ ۖإِنِّىحَفِيظٌعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunḥafīẓuninnīl-arḍikhazāiniʿalāij'ʿalnīqāla
He saidAppoint meover(the) treasuries(of) the landIndeed, I(will be) a guardianknowing
12:55
وَكَذَٰلِكَمَكَّنَّالِيُوسُفَفِىٱلْأَرْضِيَتَبَوَّأُمِنْهَاحَيْثُيَشَآءُ ۚنُصِيبُبِرَحْمَتِنَامَننَّشَآءُ ۖوَلَانُضِيعُأَجْرَٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnaajranuḍīʿuwalānashāumanbiraḥmatinānuṣībuyashāuḥaythumin'hāyatabawwa-ul-arḍifīliyūsufamakkannāwakadhālika
And thusWe established[to] Yusufinthe landto settlethereinwhere everhe willedWe bestowOur Mercy(on) whomWe willAnd notWe let go waste(the) reward(of) the good-doers
12:56
وَلَأَجْرُٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِخَيْرٌۭلِّلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَكَانُوا۟يَتَّقُونَ
yattaqūnawakānūāmanūlilladhīnakhayrunl-ākhiratiwala-ajru
And surely (the) reward(of) the Hereafter(is) betterfor those whobelieveand areGod conscious
12:57
وَجَآءَإِخْوَةُيُوسُفَفَدَخَلُوا۟عَلَيْهِفَعَرَفَهُمْوَهُمْلَهُۥمُنكِرُونَ
munkirūnalahuwahumfaʿarafahumʿalayhifadakhalūyūsufaikh'watuwajāa
And came(the) brothers(of) Yusufand they enteredupon himand he recognized thembut theyknew him notknew him not
12:58
وَلَمَّاجَهَّزَهُمبِجَهَازِهِمْقَالَٱئْتُونِىبِأَخٍۢلَّكُممِّنْأَبِيكُمْ ۚأَلَاتَرَوْنَأَنِّىٓأُوفِىٱلْكَيْلَوَأَنَا۠خَيْرُٱلْمُنزِلِينَ
l-munzilīnakhayruwa-anāl-kaylaūfīannītarawnaalāabīkumminlakumbi-akhini'tūnīqālabijahāzihimjahhazahumwalammā
And whenhe had furnished themwith their supplieshe saidBring to mea brotherof yoursfromyour fatherDo notyou seethat I[I] give full[the] measureand that I am(the) best(of) the hosts
12:59
فَإِنلَّمْتَأْتُونِىبِهِۦفَلَاكَيْلَلَكُمْعِندِىوَلَاتَقْرَبُونِ
taqrabūniwalāʿindīlakumkaylafalābihitatūnīlamfa-in
But ifnotyou bring him to meyou bring him to methen (there will be) nomeasurefor youfrom meand notyou will come near me
12:60
قَالُوا۟سَنُرَٰوِدُعَنْهُأَبَاهُوَإِنَّالَفَـٰعِلُونَ
lafāʿilūnawa-innāabāhuʿanhusanurāwiduqālū
They saidWe will try to get permissionfor him(from) his fatherand indeed wesurely will do
12:61
وَقَالَلِفِتْيَـٰنِهِٱجْعَلُوا۟بِضَـٰعَتَهُمْفِىرِحَالِهِمْلَعَلَّهُمْيَعْرِفُونَهَآإِذَاٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟إِلَىٰٓأَهْلِهِمْلَعَلَّهُمْيَرْجِعُونَ
yarjiʿūnalaʿallahumahlihimilāinqalabūidhāyaʿrifūnahālaʿallahumriḥālihimfībiḍāʿatahumij'ʿalūlifit'yānihiwaqāla
And he saidto his servantsPuttheir merchandiseintheir saddlebagsso that theymay recognize itwhenthey go backtotheir peopleso that they mayreturn
12:62
فَلَمَّارَجَعُوٓا۟إِلَىٰٓأَبِيهِمْقَالُوا۟يَـٰٓأَبَانَامُنِعَمِنَّاٱلْكَيْلُفَأَرْسِلْمَعَنَآأَخَانَانَكْتَلْوَإِنَّالَهُۥلَحَـٰفِظُونَ
laḥāfiẓūnalahuwa-innānaktalakhānāmaʿanāfa-arsill-kayluminnāmuniʿayāabānāqālūabīhimilārajaʿūfalammā
So whenthey returnedtotheir fatherthey saidO our fatherHas been deniedto usthe measureso sendwith usour brother(that) we will get measureAnd indeed, wefor him(will) surely (be) guardians
12:63
قَالَهَلْءَامَنُكُمْعَلَيْهِإِلَّاكَمَآأَمِنتُكُمْعَلَىٰٓأَخِيهِمِنقَبْلُ ۖفَٱللَّهُخَيْرٌحَـٰفِظًۭا ۖوَهُوَأَرْحَمُٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
l-rāḥimīnaarḥamuwahuwaḥāfiẓankhayrunfal-lahuqabluminakhīhiʿalāamintukumkamāillāʿalayhiāmanukumhalqāla
He saidShouldI entrust youwith himexceptasI entrusted youwithhis brotherbeforebeforeBut Allah(is) the bestGuardianand He(is the) Most Merciful(of) the merciful
12:64
وَلَمَّافَتَحُوا۟مَتَـٰعَهُمْوَجَدُوا۟بِضَـٰعَتَهُمْرُدَّتْإِلَيْهِمْ ۖقَالُوا۟يَـٰٓأَبَانَامَانَبْغِى ۖهَـٰذِهِۦبِضَـٰعَتُنَارُدَّتْإِلَيْنَا ۖوَنَمِيرُأَهْلَنَاوَنَحْفَظُأَخَانَاوَنَزْدَادُكَيْلَبَعِيرٍۢ ۖذَٰلِكَكَيْلٌۭيَسِيرٌۭ
yasīrunkaylundhālikabaʿīrinkaylawanazdāduakhānāwanaḥfaẓuahlanāwanamīruilaynāruddatbiḍāʿatunāhādhihinabghīmāyāabānāqālūilayhimruddatbiḍāʿatahumwajadūmatāʿahumfataḥūwalammā
And whenthey openedtheir baggagethey foundtheir merchandisereturnedto themThey saidO our fatherWhat(could) we desireThis(is) our merchandisereturnedto usAnd we will get provision(for) our familyand we will protectour brotherand get an increasemeasure(of) a camel's (load)That(is) a measurementeasy
12:65
قَالَلَنْأُرْسِلَهُۥمَعَكُمْحَتَّىٰتُؤْتُونِمَوْثِقًۭامِّنَٱللَّهِلَتَأْتُنَّنِىبِهِۦٓإِلَّآأَنيُحَاطَبِكُمْ ۖفَلَمَّآءَاتَوْهُمَوْثِقَهُمْقَالَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰمَانَقُولُوَكِيلٌۭ
wakīlunnaqūlumāʿalāl-lahuqālamawthiqahumātawhufalammābikumyuḥāṭaanillābihilatatunnanīl-lahiminamawthiqantu'tūniḥattāmaʿakumur'silahulanqāla
He saidNeverwill I send himwith youuntilyou give to mea promisebyAllahthat surely you will bring him to methat surely you will bring him to meunlessthatyou are surroundedyou are surroundedAnd whenthey had given himtheir promisehe saidAllahoverwhatwe say(is) a Guardian
12:66
وَقَالَيَـٰبَنِىَّلَاتَدْخُلُوا۟مِنۢبَابٍۢوَٰحِدٍۢوَٱدْخُلُوا۟مِنْأَبْوَٰبٍۢمُّتَفَرِّقَةٍۢ ۖوَمَآأُغْنِىعَنكُممِّنَٱللَّهِمِنشَىْءٍ ۖإِنِٱلْحُكْمُإِلَّالِلَّهِ ۖعَلَيْهِتَوَكَّلْتُ ۖوَعَلَيْهِفَلْيَتَوَكَّلِٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
l-mutawakilūnafalyatawakkaliwaʿalayhitawakkaltuʿalayhilillahiillāl-ḥuk'muinishayinminl-lahiminaʿankumugh'nīwamāmutafarriqatinabwābinminwa-ud'khulūwāḥidinbābinmintadkhulūlāyābaniyyawaqāla
And he saidO my sons(Do) notenterfromone gateone gatebut enterfromgatesdifferentAnd notI can availyouagainstAllahanythingNot(is) the decisionexceptwith Allahupon HimI put my trustand upon Himlet put (their) trustthe ones who put trust
12:67
وَلَمَّادَخَلُوا۟مِنْحَيْثُأَمَرَهُمْأَبُوهُممَّاكَانَيُغْنِىعَنْهُممِّنَٱللَّهِمِنشَىْءٍإِلَّاحَاجَةًۭفِىنَفْسِيَعْقُوبَقَضَىٰهَا ۚوَإِنَّهُۥلَذُوعِلْمٍۢلِّمَاعَلَّمْنَـٰهُوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَٱلنَّاسِلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāl-nāsiaktharawalākinnaʿallamnāhulimāʿil'minladhūwa-innahuqaḍāhāyaʿqūbanafsifīḥājatanillāshayinminl-lahiminaʿanhumyugh'nīkānamāabūhumamarahumḥaythumindakhalūwalammā
And whenthey enteredfromwhereordered themtheir fathernotitavail(ed)themagainstAllahanythingbut(it was) a needofYaqub's soulYaqub's soulwhich he carried outAnd indeed, he(was) a possessor(of) knowledgebecauseWe had taught himbutmost(of) the people(do) notknow
12:68
وَلَمَّادَخَلُوا۟عَلَىٰيُوسُفَءَاوَىٰٓإِلَيْهِأَخَاهُ ۖقَالَإِنِّىٓأَنَا۠أَخُوكَفَلَاتَبْتَئِسْبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūbimātabta-isfalāakhūkaanāinnīqālaakhāhuilayhiāwāyūsufaʿalādakhalūwalammā
And whenthey entereduponYusufhe tookto himselfhis brotherHe saidIndeed, I[I] amyour brotherso (do) notgrievefor whatthey used (to)do
12:69
فَلَمَّاجَهَّزَهُمبِجَهَازِهِمْجَعَلَٱلسِّقَايَةَفِىرَحْلِأَخِيهِثُمَّأَذَّنَمُؤَذِّنٌأَيَّتُهَاٱلْعِيرُإِنَّكُمْلَسَـٰرِقُونَ
lasāriqūnainnakuml-ʿīruayyatuhāmu-adhinunadhanathummaakhīhiraḥlifīl-siqāyatajaʿalabijahāzihimjahhazahumfalammā
So whenhe had furnished themwith their supplieshe putthe drinking cupinthe bag(of) his brotherThencalled outan announcerO you(in) the caravanIndeed, yousurely (are) thieves
12:70
قَالُوا۟وَأَقْبَلُوا۟عَلَيْهِممَّاذَاتَفْقِدُونَ
tafqidūnamādhāʿalayhimwa-aqbalūqālū
They saidturning towardsthemWhat (is it)you miss
12:71
قَالُوا۟نَفْقِدُصُوَاعَٱلْمَلِكِوَلِمَنجَآءَبِهِۦحِمْلُبَعِيرٍۢوَأَنَا۠بِهِۦزَعِيمٌۭ
zaʿīmunbihiwa-anābaʿīrinḥim'lubihijāawalimanl-malikiṣuwāʿanafqiduqālū
They saidWe are missing(the) cup(of) the kingAnd for (one) whobringsit(is) a load(of) a cameland Ifor it(is) responsible
12:72
قَالُوا۟تَٱللَّهِلَقَدْعَلِمْتُممَّاجِئْنَالِنُفْسِدَفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَمَاكُنَّاسَـٰرِقِينَ
sāriqīnakunnāwamāl-arḍifīlinuf'sidaji'nāmāʿalim'tumlaqadtal-lahiqālū
They saidBy Allahcertainlyyou knownotwe camethat we cause corruptioninthe landand notwe arethieves
12:73
قَالُوا۟فَمَاجَزَٰٓؤُهُۥٓإِنكُنتُمْكَـٰذِبِينَ
kādhibīnakuntuminjazāuhufamāqālū
They saidThen what(will be the) recompense (of) itifyou areliars
12:74
قَالُوا۟جَزَٰٓؤُهُۥمَنوُجِدَفِىرَحْلِهِۦفَهُوَجَزَٰٓؤُهُۥ ۚكَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِىٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnanajzīkadhālikajazāuhufahuwaraḥlihifīwujidamanjazāuhuqālū
They saidIts recompense(is that one) whoit is foundinhis bagthen he(will be) his recompenseThus(do) we recompensethe wrongdoers
12:75
فَبَدَأَبِأَوْعِيَتِهِمْقَبْلَوِعَآءِأَخِيهِثُمَّٱسْتَخْرَجَهَامِنوِعَآءِأَخِيهِ ۚكَذَٰلِكَكِدْنَالِيُوسُفَ ۖمَاكَانَلِيَأْخُذَأَخَاهُفِىدِينِٱلْمَلِكِإِلَّآأَنيَشَآءَٱللَّهُ ۚنَرْفَعُدَرَجَـٰتٍۢمَّننَّشَآءُ ۗوَفَوْقَكُلِّذِىعِلْمٍعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunʿil'mindhīkulliwafawqanashāumandarajātinnarfaʿul-lahuyashāaanillāl-malikidīnifīakhāhuliyakhudhakānamāliyūsufakid'nākadhālikaakhīhiwiʿāiminis'takhrajahāthummaakhīhiwiʿāiqablabi-awʿiyatihimfabada-a
So he beganwith their bagsbefore(the) bag(of) his brotherthenhe brought it outfrom(the) bag(of) his brotherThus(did) We planfor YusufHe could notHe could nottakehis brotherbythe law(of) the kingexceptthatAllah willedAllah willedWe raise(in) degreeswhomWe willbut overeverypossessor(of) knowledge(is) the All-Knower
12:76
۞ قَالُوٓا۟إِنيَسْرِقْفَقَدْسَرَقَأَخٌۭلَّهُۥمِنقَبْلُ ۚفَأَسَرَّهَايُوسُفُفِىنَفْسِهِۦوَلَمْيُبْدِهَالَهُمْ ۚقَالَأَنتُمْشَرٌّۭمَّكَانًۭا ۖوَٱللَّهُأَعْلَمُبِمَاتَصِفُونَ
taṣifūnabimāaʿlamuwal-lahumakānansharrunantumqālalahumyub'dihāwalamnafsihifīyūsufufa-asarrahāqabluminlahuakhunsaraqafaqadyasriqinqālū
They saidIfhe steals then verilystolea brotherof hisbeforebeforeBut Yusuf kept it secretBut Yusuf kept it secretwithinhimselfand (did) notreveal itto themHe saidYou(are the) worse(in) positionand Allahknows bestof whatyou describe
12:77
قَالُوا۟يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلْعَزِيزُإِنَّلَهُۥٓأَبًۭاشَيْخًۭاكَبِيرًۭافَخُذْأَحَدَنَامَكَانَهُۥٓ ۖإِنَّانَرَىٰكَمِنَٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnaminanarākainnāmakānahuaḥadanāfakhudhkabīranshaykhanabanlahuinnal-ʿazīzuyāayyuhāqālū
They saidOAzizIndeedhe hasa fatherold[great]so takeone of us(in) his placeIndeed, we[we] see youofthe good-doers
12:78
قَالَمَعَاذَٱللَّهِأَننَّأْخُذَإِلَّامَنوَجَدْنَامَتَـٰعَنَاعِندَهُۥٓإِنَّآإِذًۭالَّظَـٰلِمُونَ
laẓālimūnaidhaninnāʿindahumatāʿanāwajadnāmanillānakhudhaanl-lahimaʿādhaqāla
He saidAllah forbidAllah forbidthatwe takeexcept(one) whowe foundour possessionwith himIndeed, wethensurely (would be) wrongdoers
12:79
فَلَمَّاٱسْتَيْـَٔسُوا۟مِنْهُخَلَصُوا۟نَجِيًّۭا ۖقَالَكَبِيرُهُمْأَلَمْتَعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّأَبَاكُمْقَدْأَخَذَعَلَيْكُممَّوْثِقًۭامِّنَٱللَّهِوَمِنقَبْلُمَافَرَّطتُمْفِىيُوسُفَ ۖفَلَنْأَبْرَحَٱلْأَرْضَحَتَّىٰيَأْذَنَلِىٓأَبِىٓأَوْيَحْكُمَٱللَّهُلِى ۖوَهُوَخَيْرُٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ
l-ḥākimīnakhayruwahuwalīl-lahuyaḥkumaawabīlīyadhanaḥattāl-arḍaabraḥafalanyūsufafīfarraṭtummāqabluwaminl-lahiminamawthiqanʿalaykumakhadhaqadabākumannataʿlamūalamkabīruhumqālanajiyyankhalaṣūmin'huis'tayasūfalammā
So whenthey despairedof himthey secluded themselves(in) private consultationSaidthe eldest among themDo notyou knowthatyour fatherhas takenhas takenupon youa promisebyAllahand beforeand beforethatyou failedconcerningYusufSo neverwill I leavethe landuntilpermitsmemy fatherorAllah decidesAllah decidesfor meand He(is) the Best(of) the judges
12:80
ٱرْجِعُوٓا۟إِلَىٰٓأَبِيكُمْفَقُولُوا۟يَـٰٓأَبَانَآإِنَّٱبْنَكَسَرَقَوَمَاشَهِدْنَآإِلَّابِمَاعَلِمْنَاوَمَاكُنَّالِلْغَيْبِحَـٰفِظِينَ
ḥāfiẓīnalil'ghaybikunnāwamāʿalim'nābimāillāshahid'nāwamāsaraqaib'nakainnayāabānāfaqūlūabīkumilāir'jiʿū
Returntoyour fatherand say'O our fatherIndeedyour sonhas stolenand notwe testifyexceptof whatwe knewAnd notwe wereof the unseenguardians
12:81
وَسْـَٔلِٱلْقَرْيَةَٱلَّتِىكُنَّافِيهَاوَٱلْعِيرَٱلَّتِىٓأَقْبَلْنَافِيهَا ۖوَإِنَّالَصَـٰدِقُونَ
laṣādiqūnawa-innāfīhāaqbalnāallatīwal-ʿīrafīhākunnāallatīl-qaryatawasali
And askthe townwherewe were[in it]and the caravanwhichwe returned[in it]And indeed, wesurely (are) truthful.'
12:82
قَالَبَلْسَوَّلَتْلَكُمْأَنفُسُكُمْأَمْرًۭا ۖفَصَبْرٌۭجَمِيلٌ ۖعَسَىٱللَّهُأَنيَأْتِيَنِىبِهِمْجَمِيعًا ۚإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلْعَلِيمُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿalīmuhuwainnahujamīʿanbihimyatiyanīanl-lahuʿasājamīlunfaṣabrunamrananfusukumlakumsawwalatbalqāla
He saidNayhave enticedyouyour soulssomethingso patience(is) beautifulPerhapsAllahwill bring them to mewill bring them to mewill bring them to meallIndeed, HeHe(is) the All-KnowerAll-Wise
12:83
وَتَوَلَّىٰعَنْهُمْوَقَالَيَـٰٓأَسَفَىٰعَلَىٰيُوسُفَوَٱبْيَضَّتْعَيْنَاهُمِنَٱلْحُزْنِفَهُوَكَظِيمٌۭ
kaẓīmunfahuwal-ḥuz'niminaʿaynāhuwa-ib'yaḍḍatyūsufaʿalāyāasafāwaqālaʿanhumwatawallā
And he turned awayfrom themand saidAlas, my griefoverYusufAnd became whitehis eyesfromthe griefand he (was)a suppressor
12:84
قَالُوا۟تَٱللَّهِتَفْتَؤُا۟تَذْكُرُيُوسُفَحَتَّىٰتَكُونَحَرَضًاأَوْتَكُونَمِنَٱلْهَـٰلِكِينَ
l-hālikīnaminatakūnaawḥaraḍantakūnaḥattāyūsufatadhkurutafta-utal-lahiqālū
They saidBy Allahyou will not ceaserememberingYusufuntilyou becomefatally illorbecomeofthose who perish
12:85
قَالَإِنَّمَآأَشْكُوا۟بَثِّىوَحُزْنِىٓإِلَىٱللَّهِوَأَعْلَمُمِنَٱللَّهِمَالَاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalāmāl-lahiminawa-aʿlamul-lahiilāwaḥuz'nībathīashkūinnamāqāla
He saidOnlyI complain(of) my sufferingand my grieftoAllahand I knowfromAllahwhatnotyou know
12:86
يَـٰبَنِىَّٱذْهَبُوا۟فَتَحَسَّسُوا۟مِنيُوسُفَوَأَخِيهِوَلَاتَا۟يْـَٔسُوا۟مِنرَّوْحِٱللَّهِ ۖإِنَّهُۥلَايَا۟يْـَٔسُمِنرَّوْحِٱللَّهِإِلَّاٱلْقَوْمُٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
l-kāfirūnal-qawmuillāl-lahirawḥiminyāy'asulāinnahul-lahirawḥimintāy'asūwalāwa-akhīhiyūsufaminfataḥassasūidh'habūyābaniyya
O my sonsGoand inquireaboutYusufand his brotherand notdespairof(the) Mercy of Allah(the) Mercy of AllahIndeednonedespairsof(the) Mercy of Allah(the) Mercy of Allahexceptthe peoplethe disbelievers
12:87
فَلَمَّادَخَلُوا۟عَلَيْهِقَالُوا۟يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلْعَزِيزُمَسَّنَاوَأَهْلَنَاٱلضُّرُّوَجِئْنَابِبِضَـٰعَةٍۢمُّزْجَىٰةٍۢفَأَوْفِلَنَاٱلْكَيْلَوَتَصَدَّقْعَلَيْنَآ ۖإِنَّٱللَّهَيَجْزِىٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ
l-mutaṣadiqīnayajzīl-lahainnaʿalaynāwataṣaddaql-kaylalanāfa-awfimuz'jātinbibiḍāʿatinwaji'nāl-ḍuruwa-ahlanāmassanāl-ʿazīzuyāayyuhāqālūʿalayhidakhalūfalammā
So whenthey enteredupon himthey saidO AzizO AzizHas touched usand our familythe adversityand we have comewith goods(of) little valuebut pay (in) fullto usthe measureand be charitableto usIndeedAllahrewardsthe charitable
12:88
قَالَهَلْعَلِمْتُممَّافَعَلْتُمبِيُوسُفَوَأَخِيهِإِذْأَنتُمْجَـٰهِلُونَ
jāhilūnaantumidhwa-akhīhibiyūsufafaʿaltummāʿalim'tumhalqāla
He saidDoyou knowwhatyou didwith Yusufand his brotherwhenyou wereignorant
12:89
قَالُوٓا۟أَءِنَّكَلَأَنتَيُوسُفُ ۖقَالَأَنَا۠يُوسُفُوَهَـٰذَآأَخِى ۖقَدْمَنَّٱللَّهُعَلَيْنَآ ۖإِنَّهُۥمَنيَتَّقِوَيَصْبِرْفَإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايُضِيعُأَجْرَٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnaajrayuḍīʿulāl-lahafa-innawayaṣbiryattaqimaninnahuʿalaynāl-lahumannaqadakhīwahādhāyūsufuanāqālayūsufula-antaa-innakaqālū
They saidAre you indeedsurely youYusufHe saidI amYusufand this(is) my brotherIndeedAllah has been graciousAllah has been graciousto usIndeed, hewhofears Allahand (is) patientthen indeedAllah(does) notlet go waste(the) reward(of) the good-doers
12:90
قَالُوا۟تَٱللَّهِلَقَدْءَاثَرَكَٱللَّهُعَلَيْنَاوَإِنكُنَّالَخَـٰطِـِٔينَ
lakhāṭiīnakunnāwa-inʿalaynāl-lahuātharakalaqadtal-lahiqālū
They saidBy AllahcertainlyAllah has preferred youAllah has preferred youover usand indeedwe have beensinners
12:91
قَالَلَاتَثْرِيبَعَلَيْكُمُٱلْيَوْمَ ۖيَغْفِرُٱللَّهُلَكُمْ ۖوَهُوَأَرْحَمُٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
l-rāḥimīnaarḥamuwahuwalakuml-lahuyaghfirul-yawmaʿalaykumutathrībalāqāla
He saidNoblameupon youtodayAllah will forgiveAllah will forgiveyouand He(is) the Most Merciful(of) those who show mercy
12:92
ٱذْهَبُوا۟بِقَمِيصِىهَـٰذَافَأَلْقُوهُعَلَىٰوَجْهِأَبِىيَأْتِبَصِيرًۭاوَأْتُونِىبِأَهْلِكُمْأَجْمَعِينَ
ajmaʿīnabi-ahlikumwatūnībaṣīranyatiabīwajhiʿalāfa-alqūhuhādhābiqamīṣīidh'habū
Gowith this shirt of minewith this shirt of mineand cast itover(the) face(of) my fatherhe will regain sighthe will regain sightAnd bring to meyour familyall together
12:93
وَلَمَّافَصَلَتِٱلْعِيرُقَالَأَبُوهُمْإِنِّىلَأَجِدُرِيحَيُوسُفَ ۖلَوْلَآأَنتُفَنِّدُونِ
tufannidūnianlawlāyūsufarīḥala-ajiduinnīabūhumqālal-ʿīrufaṣalatiwalammā
And whendepartedthe caravantheir father saidtheir father saidIndeed, I[I] find(the) smell(of) Yusufif notthatyou think me weakened in mind
12:94
قَالُوا۟تَٱللَّهِإِنَّكَلَفِىضَلَـٰلِكَٱلْقَدِيمِ
l-qadīmiḍalālikalafīinnakatal-lahiqālū
They saidBy Allahindeed, yousurely (are) inyour errorold
12:95
فَلَمَّآأَنجَآءَٱلْبَشِيرُأَلْقَىٰهُعَلَىٰوَجْهِهِۦفَٱرْتَدَّبَصِيرًۭا ۖقَالَأَلَمْأَقُللَّكُمْإِنِّىٓأَعْلَمُمِنَٱللَّهِمَالَاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalāmāl-lahiminaaʿlamuinnīlakumaqulalamqālabaṣīranfa-ir'taddawajhihiʿalāalqāhul-bashīrujāaanfalammā
Then when[that]arrivedthe bearer of glad tidingshe cast itoverhis facethen returned (his) sightthen returned (his) sightHe saidDid notI sayto youindeed, I[I] knowfromAllahwhatnotyou know
12:96
قَالُوا۟يَـٰٓأَبَانَاٱسْتَغْفِرْلَنَاذُنُوبَنَآإِنَّاكُنَّاخَـٰطِـِٔينَ
khāṭiīnakunnāinnādhunūbanālanāis'taghfiryāabānāqālū
They saidO our fatherAsk forgivenessfor us(of) our sinsIndeed, wehave beensinners
12:97
قَالَسَوْفَأَسْتَغْفِرُلَكُمْرَبِّىٓ ۖإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلْغَفُورُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-ghafūruhuwainnahurabbīlakumastaghfirusawfaqāla
He saidSoonI will ask forgivenessfor you(from) my LordIndeed, HeHe(is) the Oft-Forgivingthe Most Merciful
12:98
فَلَمَّادَخَلُوا۟عَلَىٰيُوسُفَءَاوَىٰٓإِلَيْهِأَبَوَيْهِوَقَالَٱدْخُلُوا۟مِصْرَإِنشَآءَٱللَّهُءَامِنِينَ
āminīnal-lahushāainmiṣ'raud'khulūwaqālaabawayhiilayhiāwāyūsufaʿalādakhalūfalammā
Then whenthey entereduponYusufhe tookto himselfhis parentsand saidEnterEgyptifAllah willsAllah willssafe
12:99
وَرَفَعَأَبَوَيْهِعَلَىٱلْعَرْشِوَخَرُّوا۟لَهُۥسُجَّدًۭا ۖوَقَالَيَـٰٓأَبَتِهَـٰذَاتَأْوِيلُرُءْيَـٰىَمِنقَبْلُقَدْجَعَلَهَارَبِّىحَقًّۭا ۖوَقَدْأَحْسَنَبِىٓإِذْأَخْرَجَنِىمِنَٱلسِّجْنِوَجَآءَبِكُممِّنَٱلْبَدْوِمِنۢبَعْدِأَننَّزَغَٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُبَيْنِىوَبَيْنَإِخْوَتِىٓ ۚإِنَّرَبِّىلَطِيفٌۭلِّمَايَشَآءُ ۚإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلْعَلِيمُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿalīmuhuwainnahuyashāulimālaṭīfunrabbīinnaikh'watīwabaynabaynīl-shayṭānunazaghaanbaʿdiminl-badwiminabikumwajāal-sij'niminaakhrajanīidhbīaḥsanawaqadḥaqqanrabbījaʿalahāqadqabluminru'yāyatawīluhādhāyāabatiwaqālasujjadanlahuwakharrūl-ʿarshiʿalāabawayhiwarafaʿa
And he raisedhis parentsuponthe throneand they fell downto himprostrateAnd he saidO my fatherThis(is the) interpretation(of) my dream(of) before(of) beforeVerilyhas made itmy LordtrueAnd indeedHe was goodto mewhenHe took me outofthe prisonand broughtyoufromthe bedouin lifeafterafter[that]had caused discordthe Shaitaanbetween meand betweenmy brothersIndeedmy Lord(is) Most Subtleto whatHe willsIndeed, HeHe(is) the All-Knowerthe All-Wise
12:100
۞ رَبِّقَدْءَاتَيْتَنِىمِنَٱلْمُلْكِوَعَلَّمْتَنِىمِنتَأْوِيلِٱلْأَحَادِيثِ ۚفَاطِرَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِأَنتَوَلِىِّۦفِىٱلدُّنْيَاوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖتَوَفَّنِىمُسْلِمًۭاوَأَلْحِقْنِىبِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
bil-ṣāliḥīnawa-alḥiq'nīmus'limantawaffanīwal-ākhiratil-dun'yāfīwaliyyīantawal-arḍil-samāwātifāṭiral-aḥādīthitawīliminwaʿallamtanīl-mul'kiminaātaytanīqadrabbi
My Lordindeedyou have given meofthe sovereigntyand taught meofthe interpretationof the eventsCreator(of) the heavensand the earthYou(are) my Protectorinthe worldand the HereafterCause me to die(as) a Muslimand join mewith the righteous
12:101
ذَٰلِكَمِنْأَنۢبَآءِٱلْغَيْبِنُوحِيهِإِلَيْكَ ۖوَمَاكُنتَلَدَيْهِمْإِذْأَجْمَعُوٓا۟أَمْرَهُمْوَهُمْيَمْكُرُونَ
yamkurūnawahumamrahumajmaʿūidhladayhimkuntawamāilaykanūḥīhil-ghaybianbāimindhālika
That(is) fromthe news(of) the unseenwhich We revealto youAnd notyou werewith themwhenthey put togethertheir planwhile they(were) plotting
12:102
وَمَآأَكْثَرُٱلنَّاسِوَلَوْحَرَصْتَبِمُؤْمِنِينَ
bimu'minīnaḥaraṣtawalawl-nāsiaktharuwamā
And notmost(of) the mankindeven thoughyou desire(will be) believers
12:103
وَمَاتَسْـَٔلُهُمْعَلَيْهِمِنْأَجْرٍ ۚإِنْهُوَإِلَّاذِكْرٌۭلِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
lil'ʿālamīnadhik'runillāhuwainajrinminʿalayhitasaluhumwamā
And notyou ask themfor itanyrewardNot(is) itbuta reminderto the worlds
12:104
وَكَأَيِّنمِّنْءَايَةٍۢفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِيَمُرُّونَعَلَيْهَاوَهُمْعَنْهَامُعْرِضُونَ
muʿ'riḍūnaʿanhāwahumʿalayhāyamurrūnawal-arḍil-samāwātifīāyatinminwaka-ayyin
And how manyofa Signinthe heavensand the earththey passover itwhile they(are) from themthe ones who turn away
12:105
وَمَايُؤْمِنُأَكْثَرُهُمبِٱللَّهِإِلَّاوَهُممُّشْرِكُونَ
mush'rikūnawahumillābil-lahiaktharuhumyu'minuwamā
And notbelievemost of themin Allahexceptwhile theyassociate partners with Him
12:106
أَفَأَمِنُوٓا۟أَنتَأْتِيَهُمْغَـٰشِيَةٌۭمِّنْعَذَابِٱللَّهِأَوْتَأْتِيَهُمُٱلسَّاعَةُبَغْتَةًۭوَهُمْلَايَشْعُرُونَ
yashʿurūnalāwahumbaghtatanl-sāʿatutatiyahumuawl-lahiʿadhābiminghāshiyatuntatiyahumanafa-aminū
Do they then feel secure(against) thatcomes to theman overwhelming[of]punishment(of) Allahorcomes to themthe Hoursuddenlywhile they(do) notperceive
12:107
قُلْهَـٰذِهِۦسَبِيلِىٓأَدْعُوٓا۟إِلَىٱللَّهِ ۚعَلَىٰبَصِيرَةٍأَنَا۠وَمَنِٱتَّبَعَنِى ۖوَسُبْحَـٰنَٱللَّهِوَمَآأَنَا۠مِنَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
l-mush'rikīnaminaanāwamāl-lahiwasub'ḥānaittabaʿanīwamanianābaṣīratinʿalāl-lahiilāadʿūsabīlīhādhihiqul
SayThis(is) my wayI invitetoAllahwithinsightIand whoeverfollows meAnd Glory be(to) Allahand notI amofthe polytheists
12:108
وَمَآأَرْسَلْنَامِنقَبْلِكَإِلَّارِجَالًۭانُّوحِىٓإِلَيْهِممِّنْأَهْلِٱلْقُرَىٰٓ ۗأَفَلَمْيَسِيرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِفَيَنظُرُوا۟كَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۗوَلَدَارُٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِخَيْرٌۭلِّلَّذِينَٱتَّقَوْا۟ ۗأَفَلَاتَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūnaafalāittaqawlilladhīnakhayrunl-ākhiratiwaladāruqablihimminalladhīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafayanẓurūl-arḍifīyasīrūafalaml-qurāahliminilayhimnūḥīrijālanillāqablikaminarsalnāwamā
And notWe sentbefore youbefore youbutmenWe revealedto themfrom (among)(the) people(of) the townshipsSo have notthey traveledinthe earthand seenhowwas(the) end(of) those who(were) before them(were) before themAnd surely the home(of) the Hereafter(is) bestfor those whofear AllahThen will notyou use reason
12:109
حَتَّىٰٓإِذَاٱسْتَيْـَٔسَٱلرُّسُلُوَظَنُّوٓا۟أَنَّهُمْقَدْكُذِبُوا۟جَآءَهُمْنَصْرُنَافَنُجِّىَمَننَّشَآءُ ۖوَلَايُرَدُّبَأْسُنَاعَنِٱلْقَوْمِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
l-muj'rimīnal-qawmiʿanibasunāyuradduwalānashāumanfanujjiyanaṣrunājāahumkudhibūqadannahumwaẓannūl-rusuluis'tayasaidhāḥattā
Untilwhengave up hopethe Messengersand thoughtthat theycertainlywere deniedthen came to themOur helpand was savedwhomWe willedAnd not(can) be repelledOur punishmentfromthe people(who are) criminals
12:110
لَقَدْكَانَفِىقَصَصِهِمْعِبْرَةٌۭلِّأُو۟لِىٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ ۗمَاكَانَحَدِيثًۭايُفْتَرَىٰوَلَـٰكِنتَصْدِيقَٱلَّذِىبَيْنَيَدَيْهِوَتَفْصِيلَكُلِّشَىْءٍۢوَهُدًۭىوَرَحْمَةًۭلِّقَوْمٍۢيُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnaliqawminwaraḥmatanwahudanshayinkulliwatafṣīlayadayhibaynaalladhītaṣdīqawalākinyuf'tarāḥadīthankānamāl-albābili-ulīʿib'ratunqaṣaṣihimfīkānalaqad
Verily(there) isintheir storiesa lessonfor men(of) understandingNot(it) isa narrationinventedbuta confirmation(of that) which(was) before it(was) before itand a detailed explanation(of) allthingsand a guidanceand mercyfor a peoplewho believe
12:111
Basmala
الٓمٓر ۚتِلْكَءَايَـٰتُٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ۗوَٱلَّذِىٓأُنزِلَإِلَيْكَمِنرَّبِّكَٱلْحَقُّوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَٱلنَّاسِلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalāl-nāsiaktharawalākinnal-ḥaqurabbikaminilaykaunzilawa-alladhīl-kitābiāyātutil'kaalif-lam-meem-ra
Alif Laam Mim RaThese(are) the Verses(of) the BookAnd that whichhas been revealedto youfromyour Lord(is) the truthbutmost(of) the mankind(do) notbelieve
13:1
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىرَفَعَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِبِغَيْرِعَمَدٍۢتَرَوْنَهَا ۖثُمَّٱسْتَوَىٰعَلَىٱلْعَرْشِ ۖوَسَخَّرَٱلشَّمْسَوَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖكُلٌّۭيَجْرِىلِأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّۭى ۚيُدَبِّرُٱلْأَمْرَيُفَصِّلُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلَعَلَّكُمبِلِقَآءِرَبِّكُمْتُوقِنُونَ
tūqinūnarabbikumbiliqāilaʿallakuml-āyātiyufaṣṣilul-amrayudabbirumusammanli-ajalinyajrīkullunwal-qamaral-shamsawasakharal-ʿarshiʿalāis'tawāthummatarawnahāʿamadinbighayril-samāwātirafaʿaalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whoraisedthe heavenswithoutpillarsthat you seethenHe establishedonthe Throneand subjectedthe sunand the mooneachrunningfor a termappointedHe arrangesthe matterHe detailsthe Signsso that you mayin the meeting(with) your Lordbelieve with certainty
13:2
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىمَدَّٱلْأَرْضَوَجَعَلَفِيهَارَوَٰسِىَوَأَنْهَـٰرًۭا ۖوَمِنكُلِّٱلثَّمَرَٰتِجَعَلَفِيهَازَوْجَيْنِٱثْنَيْنِ ۖيُغْشِىٱلَّيْلَٱلنَّهَارَ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkarūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnal-nahāraal-laylayugh'shīith'naynizawjaynifīhājaʿalal-thamarātikulliwaminwa-anhāranrawāsiyafīhāwajaʿalal-arḍamaddaalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whospreadthe earthand placedin itfirm mountainsand riversand fromall(of) the fruitsHe madein itpairstwoHe coversthe night(with) the dayIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor a peoplewho ponder
13:3
وَفِىٱلْأَرْضِقِطَعٌۭمُّتَجَـٰوِرَٰتٌۭوَجَنَّـٰتٌۭمِّنْأَعْنَـٰبٍۢوَزَرْعٌۭوَنَخِيلٌۭصِنْوَانٌۭوَغَيْرُصِنْوَانٍۢيُسْقَىٰبِمَآءٍۢوَٰحِدٍۢوَنُفَضِّلُبَعْضَهَاعَلَىٰبَعْضٍۢفِىٱلْأُكُلِ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnal-ukulifībaʿḍinʿalābaʿḍahāwanufaḍḍiluwāḥidinbimāinyus'qāṣin'wāninwaghayruṣin'wānunwanakhīlunwazarʿunaʿnābinminwajannātunmutajāwirātunqiṭaʿunl-arḍiwafī
And inthe earthare tracksneighboringand gardensofgrapevinesand cropsand date-palmstrees (growing) from a single rootand nottrees (growing) from a single rootwateredwith wateronebut We cause to exceedsome of themoverothersinthe fruitIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor a peoplewho use reason
13:4
۞ وَإِنتَعْجَبْفَعَجَبٌۭقَوْلُهُمْأَءِذَاكُنَّاتُرَٰبًاأَءِنَّالَفِىخَلْقٍۢجَدِيدٍ ۗأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلْأَغْلَـٰلُفِىٓأَعْنَاقِهِمْ ۖوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلنَّارِ ۖهُمْفِيهَاخَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūnafīhāhuml-nāriaṣḥābuwa-ulāikaaʿnāqihimfīl-aghlāluwa-ulāikabirabbihimkafarūalladhīnaulāikajadīdinkhalqinlafīa-innāturābankunnāa-idhāqawluhumfaʿajabuntaʿjabwa-in
And ifyou (are) astonishedthen astonishing(is) their sayingWhenwe aredustwill we(be) indeed, ina creationnewThose(are) the ones whodisbelievedin their Lordand thosethe iron chains(will be) intheir necksthose(are the) companions(of) the Firetheyin it(will) abide forever
13:5
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَبِٱلسَّيِّئَةِقَبْلَٱلْحَسَنَةِوَقَدْخَلَتْمِنقَبْلِهِمُٱلْمَثُلَـٰتُ ۗوَإِنَّرَبَّكَلَذُومَغْفِرَةٍۢلِّلنَّاسِعَلَىٰظُلْمِهِمْ ۖوَإِنَّرَبَّكَلَشَدِيدُٱلْعِقَابِ
l-ʿiqābilashadīdurabbakawa-innaẓul'mihimʿalālilnnāsimaghfiratinladhūrabbakawa-innal-mathulātuqablihimuminkhalatwaqadl-ḥasanatiqablabil-sayi-atiwayastaʿjilūnaka
And they ask you to hastenthe evilbeforethe goodand verilyhas occurredfrombefore them[the] similar punishmentsAnd indeedyour Lord(is) full(of) forgivenessfor mankindfortheir wrongdoingand indeedyour Lord(is) severe(in) the penalty
13:6
وَيَقُولُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لَوْلَآأُنزِلَعَلَيْهِءَايَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّهِۦٓ ۗإِنَّمَآأَنتَمُنذِرٌۭ ۖوَلِكُلِّقَوْمٍهَادٍ
hādinqawminwalikullimundhirunantainnamārabbihimināyatunʿalayhiunzilalawlākafarūalladhīnawayaqūlu
And saythose whodisbelievedWhy nothas been sent downto hima signfromhis LordOnlyyou(are) a warnerand for everypeople(is) a guide
13:7
ٱللَّهُيَعْلَمُمَاتَحْمِلُكُلُّأُنثَىٰوَمَاتَغِيضُٱلْأَرْحَامُوَمَاتَزْدَادُ ۖوَكُلُّشَىْءٍعِندَهُۥبِمِقْدَارٍ
bimiq'dārinʿindahushayinwakullutazdāduwamāl-arḥāmutaghīḍuwamāunthākullutaḥmilumāyaʿlamual-lahu
Allahknowswhatcarrieseveryfemaleand whatfall shortthe womband whatthey exceedAnd everythingwith Him(is) in due proportion
13:8
عَـٰلِمُٱلْغَيْبِوَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِٱلْكَبِيرُٱلْمُتَعَالِ
l-mutaʿālil-kabīruwal-shahādatil-ghaybiʿālimu
Knower(of) the unseenand the witnessedthe Most Greatthe Most High
13:9
سَوَآءٌۭمِّنكُممَّنْأَسَرَّٱلْقَوْلَوَمَنجَهَرَبِهِۦوَمَنْهُوَمُسْتَخْفٍۭبِٱلَّيْلِوَسَارِبٌۢبِٱلنَّهَارِ
bil-nahāriwasāribunbi-al-laylimus'takhfinhuwawamanbihijaharawamanl-qawlaasarramanminkumsawāon
(It is) same (to Him)[of you](one) whoconcealsthe speechor (one) whopublicizesitand (one) who[he](is) hiddenby nightor goes freelyby day
13:10
لَهُۥمُعَقِّبَـٰتٌۭمِّنۢبَيْنِيَدَيْهِوَمِنْخَلْفِهِۦيَحْفَظُونَهُۥمِنْأَمْرِٱللَّهِ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايُغَيِّرُمَابِقَوْمٍحَتَّىٰيُغَيِّرُوا۟مَابِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗوَإِذَآأَرَادَٱللَّهُبِقَوْمٍۢسُوٓءًۭافَلَامَرَدَّلَهُۥ ۚوَمَالَهُممِّندُونِهِۦمِنوَالٍ
wālinmindūnihiminlahumwamālahumaraddafalāsūanbiqawminl-lahuarādawa-idhābi-anfusihimmāyughayyirūḥattābiqawminmāyughayyirulāl-lahainnal-lahiamriminyaḥfaẓūnahukhalfihiwaminyadayhibayniminmuʿaqqibātunlahu
For him(are) successive (Angels)from(before)(him)and fromand behind himwho guard himby(the) command(of) AllahIndeedAllah(does) notchange(the condition)of a peopleuntilthey changewhat(is) in themselvesAnd whenwillsAllahfor a peoplemisfortunethen (there is) noturning awayof itand notfor themfrombesides Himanyprotector
13:11
هُوَٱلَّذِىيُرِيكُمُٱلْبَرْقَخَوْفًۭاوَطَمَعًۭاوَيُنشِئُٱلسَّحَابَٱلثِّقَالَ
l-thiqālal-saḥābawayunshi-uwaṭamaʿankhawfanl-barqayurīkumualladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whoshows youthe lightninga fearand a hopeand brings upthe cloudsthe heavy
13:12
وَيُسَبِّحُٱلرَّعْدُبِحَمْدِهِۦوَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُمِنْخِيفَتِهِۦوَيُرْسِلُٱلصَّوَٰعِقَفَيُصِيبُبِهَامَنيَشَآءُوَهُمْيُجَـٰدِلُونَفِىٱللَّهِوَهُوَشَدِيدُٱلْمِحَالِ
l-miḥālishadīduwahuwal-lahifīyujādilūnawahumyashāumanbihāfayuṣībul-ṣawāʿiqawayur'silukhīfatihiminwal-malāikatubiḥamdihil-raʿduwayusabbiḥu
And glorifiesthe thunderwith his praise and the Angelsforfear of HimAnd He sendsthe thunderboltsand strikeswith itwhomHe willsyet theydisputeaboutAllahAnd He(is) Mighty(in) Strength
13:13
لَهُۥدَعْوَةُٱلْحَقِّ ۖوَٱلَّذِينَيَدْعُونَمِندُونِهِۦلَايَسْتَجِيبُونَلَهُمبِشَىْءٍإِلَّاكَبَـٰسِطِكَفَّيْهِإِلَىٱلْمَآءِلِيَبْلُغَفَاهُوَمَاهُوَبِبَـٰلِغِهِۦ ۚوَمَادُعَآءُٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَإِلَّافِىضَلَـٰلٍۢ
ḍalālinfīillāl-kāfirīnaduʿāuwamābibālighihihuwawamāfāhuliyablughal-māiilākaffayhikabāsiṭiillābishayinlahumyastajībūnalādūnihiminyadʿūnawa-alladhīnal-ḥaqidaʿwatulahu
To Him(is) supplication(of) the truthAnd those whomthey invokebesides Himbesides Himnotthey respondto themwith a thingexceptlike one who stretcheshis handstowardswaterto reachhis mouthbut notitreaches itAnd not(is) the supplication(of) the disbelieversbutinerror
13:14
وَلِلَّهِيَسْجُدُمَنفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِطَوْعًۭاوَكَرْهًۭاوَظِلَـٰلُهُمبِٱلْغُدُوِّوَٱلْـَٔاصَالِ ۩
wal-āṣālibil-ghuduwiwaẓilāluhumwakarhanṭawʿanwal-arḍil-samāwātifīmanyasjuduwalillahi
And to Allahprostrateswhoever(is) inthe heavensand the earthwillinglyor unwillinglyand (so do) their shadowsin the morningsand in the afternoons
13:15
قُلْمَنرَّبُّٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِقُلِٱللَّهُ ۚقُلْأَفَٱتَّخَذْتُممِّندُونِهِۦٓأَوْلِيَآءَلَايَمْلِكُونَلِأَنفُسِهِمْنَفْعًۭاوَلَاضَرًّۭا ۚقُلْهَلْيَسْتَوِىٱلْأَعْمَىٰوَٱلْبَصِيرُأَمْهَلْتَسْتَوِىٱلظُّلُمَـٰتُوَٱلنُّورُ ۗأَمْجَعَلُوا۟لِلَّهِشُرَكَآءَخَلَقُوا۟كَخَلْقِهِۦفَتَشَـٰبَهَٱلْخَلْقُعَلَيْهِمْ ۚقُلِٱللَّهُخَـٰلِقُكُلِّشَىْءٍۢوَهُوَٱلْوَٰحِدُٱلْقَهَّـٰرُ
l-qahārul-wāḥiduwahuwashayinkullikhāliqul-lahuquliʿalayhiml-khalqufatashābahakakhalqihikhalaqūshurakāalillahijaʿalūamwal-nūrul-ẓulumātutastawīhalamwal-baṣīrul-aʿmāyastawīhalqulḍarranwalānafʿanli-anfusihimyamlikūnalāawliyāadūnihiminafa-ittakhadhtumqull-lahuquliwal-arḍil-samāwātirabbumanqul
SayWho(is) the Lord(of) the heavensand the earthSayAllahSayHave you then takenfrombesides Himprotectorsnotthey have powerfor themselves(to) benefitand not(to) harmSayIsequalthe blindand the seeingOrisequalthe darkness[es]and the lightOrthey attributeto Allahpartnerswho createdlike His creationso that seemed alikethe creationto themSayAllah(is) the Creatorof allthingsand He(is) the Onethe Irresistible
13:16
أَنزَلَمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۭفَسَالَتْأَوْدِيَةٌۢبِقَدَرِهَافَٱحْتَمَلَٱلسَّيْلُزَبَدًۭارَّابِيًۭا ۚوَمِمَّايُوقِدُونَعَلَيْهِفِىٱلنَّارِٱبْتِغَآءَحِلْيَةٍأَوْمَتَـٰعٍۢزَبَدٌۭمِّثْلُهُۥ ۚكَذَٰلِكَيَضْرِبُٱللَّهُٱلْحَقَّوَٱلْبَـٰطِلَ ۚفَأَمَّاٱلزَّبَدُفَيَذْهَبُجُفَآءًۭ ۖوَأَمَّامَايَنفَعُٱلنَّاسَفَيَمْكُثُفِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۚكَذَٰلِكَيَضْرِبُٱللَّهُٱلْأَمْثَالَ
l-amthālal-lahuyaḍribukadhālikal-arḍifīfayamkuthul-nāsayanfaʿumāwa-ammājufāanfayadhhabul-zabadufa-ammāwal-bāṭilal-ḥaqal-lahuyaḍribukadhālikamith'luhuzabadunmatāʿinawḥil'yatinib'tighāal-nārifīʿalayhiyūqidūnawamimmārābiyanzabadanl-saylufa-iḥ'tamalabiqadarihāawdiyatunfasālatmāanl-samāiminaanzala
He sends downfromthe skywaterand flowsthe valleysaccording to their measureand carriesthe torrenta foamrisingAnd from whatthey heat[on] itinthe firein order to makeornamentsorutensilsa foamlike itThussets forthAllahthe truthand the falsehoodThen as forthe foamit passes away(as) scumand as forwhatbenefitsthe mankindremainsinthe earthThusAllah sets forthAllah sets forththe examples
13:17
لِلَّذِينَٱسْتَجَابُوا۟لِرَبِّهِمُٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚوَٱلَّذِينَلَمْيَسْتَجِيبُوا۟لَهُۥلَوْأَنَّلَهُممَّافِىٱلْأَرْضِجَمِيعًۭاوَمِثْلَهُۥمَعَهُۥلَٱفْتَدَوْا۟بِهِۦٓ ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَهُمْسُوٓءُٱلْحِسَابِوَمَأْوَىٰهُمْجَهَنَّمُ ۖوَبِئْسَٱلْمِهَادُ
l-mihāduwabi'sajahannamuwamawāhuml-ḥisābisūulahumulāikabihila-if'tadawmaʿahuwamith'lahujamīʿanl-arḍifīmālahumannalawlahuyastajībūlamwa-alladhīnal-ḥus'nālirabbihimuis'tajābūlilladhīna
For those whorespondedto their Lord(is) the blissAnd for those who(did) notrespondto Himifthatthey hadwhatever(is) inthe earthalland like of itwith itsurely they would offer ransomwith itThosefor them(is) a terriblereckoningand their abode(is) Helland wretched(is) the resting place
13:18
۞ أَفَمَنيَعْلَمُأَنَّمَآأُنزِلَإِلَيْكَمِنرَّبِّكَٱلْحَقُّكَمَنْهُوَأَعْمَىٰٓ ۚإِنَّمَايَتَذَكَّرُأُو۟لُوا۟ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ
l-albābiulūyatadhakkaruinnamāaʿmāhuwakamanl-ḥaqurabbikaminilaykaunzilaannamāyaʿlamuafaman
Then is (he) whoknowsthat whichhas been revealedto youfromyour Lord(is) the truthlike (one) who[he](is) blindOnlypay heedmen(of) understanding
13:19
ٱلَّذِينَيُوفُونَبِعَهْدِٱللَّهِوَلَايَنقُضُونَٱلْمِيثَـٰقَ
l-mīthāqayanquḍūnawalāl-lahibiʿahdiyūfūnaalladhīna
Those whofulfillthe covenant(of) Allahand notthey breakthe contract
13:20
وَٱلَّذِينَيَصِلُونَمَآأَمَرَٱللَّهُبِهِۦٓأَنيُوصَلَوَيَخْشَوْنَرَبَّهُمْوَيَخَافُونَسُوٓءَٱلْحِسَابِ
l-ḥisābisūawayakhāfūnarabbahumwayakhshawnayūṣalaanbihil-lahuamaramāyaṣilūnawa-alladhīna
And those whojoinwhat(has been) commanded(by) Allah[for it]tobe joinedand feartheir Lordand are afraid(of) the evilthe account
13:21
وَٱلَّذِينَصَبَرُوا۟ٱبْتِغَآءَوَجْهِرَبِّهِمْوَأَقَامُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَأَنفَقُوا۟مِمَّارَزَقْنَـٰهُمْسِرًّۭاوَعَلَانِيَةًۭوَيَدْرَءُونَبِٱلْحَسَنَةِٱلسَّيِّئَةَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَهُمْعُقْبَىٱلدَّارِ
l-dāriʿuq'bālahumulāikal-sayi-atabil-ḥasanatiwayadraūnawaʿalāniyatansirranrazaqnāhummimmāwa-anfaqūl-ṣalatawa-aqāmūrabbihimwajhiib'tighāaṣabarūwa-alladhīna
And those who(are) patientseeking(the) Face(of) their Lordand establishthe prayerand spendfrom whatWe have provided themsecretlyand publiclyand they repelwith the goodthe evil thosefor them(is) the final attainment(of) the Home
13:22
جَنَّـٰتُعَدْنٍۢيَدْخُلُونَهَاوَمَنصَلَحَمِنْءَابَآئِهِمْوَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْوَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمْ ۖوَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُيَدْخُلُونَعَلَيْهِممِّنكُلِّبَابٍۢ
bābinkulliminʿalayhimyadkhulūnawal-malāikatuwadhurriyyātihimwa-azwājihimābāihimminṣalaḥawamanyadkhulūnahāʿadninjannātu
Gardensof Edenthey will enter themand whoever(were) righteousamongtheir fathersand their spousesand their offspringsAnd the Angelswill enterupon themfromeverygate
13:23
سَلَـٰمٌعَلَيْكُمبِمَاصَبَرْتُمْ ۚفَنِعْمَعُقْبَىٱلدَّارِ
l-dāriʿuq'bāfaniʿ'maṣabartumbimāʿalaykumsalāmun
(Saying), "Peace(be) upon youfor whatyou patiently enduredAnd excellent(is) the final attainment(of) the Home
13:24
وَٱلَّذِينَيَنقُضُونَعَهْدَٱللَّهِمِنۢبَعْدِمِيثَـٰقِهِۦوَيَقْطَعُونَمَآأَمَرَٱللَّهُبِهِۦٓأَنيُوصَلَوَيُفْسِدُونَفِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۙأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَهُمُٱللَّعْنَةُوَلَهُمْسُوٓءُٱلدَّارِ
l-dārisūuwalahuml-laʿnatulahumuulāikal-arḍifīwayuf'sidūnayūṣalaanbihil-lahuamaramāwayaqṭaʿūnamīthāqihibaʿdiminl-lahiʿahdayanquḍūnawa-alladhīna
And those whobreakthe covenant(of) Allahfromaftercontracting itand severwhat(has been) commanded(by) Allahfor ittobe joinedand spread corruptioninthe earthThose for them(is) the curseand for them(is) an evilhome
13:25
ٱللَّهُيَبْسُطُٱلرِّزْقَلِمَنيَشَآءُوَيَقْدِرُ ۚوَفَرِحُوا۟بِٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاوَمَاٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَافِىٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِإِلَّامَتَـٰعٌۭ
matāʿunillāl-ākhiratifīl-dun'yāl-ḥayatuwamāl-dun'yābil-ḥayatiwafariḥūwayaqdiruyashāulimanl-riz'qayabsuṭual-lahu
Allahextendsthe provisionfor whomHe willsand restrictsAnd they rejoicein the life(of) the worldand nothing(is) the lifeof the worldin (comparison to)the Hereafterexceptan enjoyment
13:26
وَيَقُولُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لَوْلَآأُنزِلَعَلَيْهِءَايَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّهِۦ ۗقُلْإِنَّٱللَّهَيُضِلُّمَنيَشَآءُوَيَهْدِىٓإِلَيْهِمَنْأَنَابَ
anābamanilayhiwayahdīyashāumanyuḍillul-lahainnaqulrabbihimināyatunʿalayhiunzilalawlākafarūalladhīnawayaqūlu
And saythose whodisbelievedWhy has notbeen sent downupon hima Signfromhis LordSayIndeedAllahlets go astraywhomHe willsand guidesto Himselfwhoeverturns back
13:27
ٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَتَطْمَئِنُّقُلُوبُهُمبِذِكْرِٱللَّهِ ۗأَلَابِذِكْرِٱللَّهِتَطْمَئِنُّٱلْقُلُوبُ
l-qulūbutaṭma-innul-lahibidhik'rialāl-lahibidhik'riqulūbuhumwataṭma-innuāmanūalladhīna
Those whobelievedand find satisfactiontheir heartsin the remembrance(of) AllahNo doubtin the remembrance(of) Allahfind satisfactionthe hearts
13:28
ٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِطُوبَىٰلَهُمْوَحُسْنُمَـَٔابٍۢ
maābinwaḥus'nulahumṭūbāl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīna
Those whobelievedand didrighteous deedsblessedness(is) for themand a beautifulplace of return
13:29
كَذَٰلِكَأَرْسَلْنَـٰكَفِىٓأُمَّةٍۢقَدْخَلَتْمِنقَبْلِهَآأُمَمٌۭلِّتَتْلُوَا۟عَلَيْهِمُٱلَّذِىٓأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَيْكَوَهُمْيَكْفُرُونَبِٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۚقُلْهُوَرَبِّىلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَعَلَيْهِتَوَكَّلْتُوَإِلَيْهِمَتَابِ
matābiwa-ilayhitawakkaltuʿalayhihuwaillāilāhalārabbīhuwaqulbil-raḥmāniyakfurūnawahumilaykaawḥaynāalladhīʿalayhimulitatluwāumamunqablihāminkhalatqadummatinfīarsalnākakadhālika
ThusWe have sent youtoa nationverilyhave passed awayfrombefore itnationsso that you might reciteto themwhatWe revealedto youwhile theydisbelievein the Most GraciousSayHe(is) my Lord(there is) nogodexceptHimUpon HimI put my trustand to Him(is) my return
13:30
وَلَوْأَنَّقُرْءَانًۭاسُيِّرَتْبِهِٱلْجِبَالُأَوْقُطِّعَتْبِهِٱلْأَرْضُأَوْكُلِّمَبِهِٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۗبَللِّلَّهِٱلْأَمْرُجَمِيعًا ۗأَفَلَمْيَا۟يْـَٔسِٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟أَنلَّوْيَشَآءُٱللَّهُلَهَدَىٱلنَّاسَجَمِيعًۭا ۗوَلَايَزَالُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟تُصِيبُهُمبِمَاصَنَعُوا۟قَارِعَةٌأَوْتَحُلُّقَرِيبًۭامِّندَارِهِمْحَتَّىٰيَأْتِىَوَعْدُٱللَّهِ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايُخْلِفُٱلْمِيعَادَ
l-mīʿādayukh'lifulāl-lahainnal-lahiwaʿduyatiyaḥattādārihimminqarībantaḥulluawqāriʿatunṣanaʿūbimātuṣībuhumkafarūalladhīnayazāluwalājamīʿanl-nāsalahadāl-lahuyashāulawanāmanūalladhīnayāy'asiafalamjamīʿanl-amrulillahiball-mawtābihikullimaawl-arḍubihiquṭṭiʿatawl-jibālubihisuyyiratqur'ānanannawalaw
And ifthat wasany Qurancould be movedby itthe mountainsorcould be cloven asunderby itthe earthorcould be made to speakby itthe deadNaywith Allah(is) the commandallThen do notknowthose whobelievethatifhad willedAllahsurely, He would have guidedallall of the mankindAnd notwill ceasethose whodisbelieveto strike themfor whatthey dida disasterorit settlesclosefromtheir homesuntilcomes(the) promise(of) AllahIndeedAllah(will) notfail(in) the Promise
13:31
وَلَقَدِٱسْتُهْزِئَبِرُسُلٍۢمِّنقَبْلِكَفَأَمْلَيْتُلِلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟ثُمَّأَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖفَكَيْفَكَانَعِقَابِ
ʿiqābikānafakayfaakhadhtuhumthummakafarūlilladhīnafa-amlaytuqablikaminbirusulinus'tuh'zi-awalaqadi
And certainlywere mockedMessengersfrombefore youbut I granted respiteto those whodisbelievedthenI seized themand howwasMy penalty
13:32
أَفَمَنْهُوَقَآئِمٌعَلَىٰكُلِّنَفْسٍۭبِمَاكَسَبَتْ ۗوَجَعَلُوا۟لِلَّهِشُرَكَآءَقُلْسَمُّوهُمْ ۚأَمْتُنَبِّـُٔونَهُۥبِمَالَايَعْلَمُفِىٱلْأَرْضِأَمبِظَـٰهِرٍۢمِّنَٱلْقَوْلِ ۗبَلْزُيِّنَلِلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟مَكْرُهُمْوَصُدُّوا۟عَنِٱلسَّبِيلِ ۗوَمَنيُضْلِلِٱللَّهُفَمَالَهُۥمِنْهَادٍۢ
hādinminlahufamāl-lahuyuḍ'liliwamanl-sabīliʿaniwaṣuddūmakruhumkafarūlilladhīnazuyyinaball-qawliminabiẓāhirinaml-arḍifīyaʿlamulābimātunabbiūnahuamsammūhumqulshurakāalillahiwajaʿalūkasabatbimānafsinkulliʿalāqāimunhuwaafaman
Is then He Who(He)(is) a Maintainerofeverysoulfor whatit has earnedYet they ascribeto AllahpartnersSayName themOr(do) you inform Himof whatnotHe knowsinthe earthorof the apparentofthe wordsNay(is) made fair-seemingto those whodisbelievetheir plottingand they are hinderedfromthe PathAnd whoever(by) AllahAllah lets go astraythen notfor himanyguide
13:33
لَّهُمْعَذَابٌۭفِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَا ۖوَلَعَذَابُٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِأَشَقُّ ۖوَمَالَهُممِّنَٱللَّهِمِنوَاقٍۢ
wāqinminl-lahiminalahumwamāashaqqul-ākhiratiwalaʿadhābul-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīʿadhābunlahum
For them(is) a punishmentinthe life(of) the worldand surely the punishment(of) the Hereafter(is) harderAnd notfor themagainstAllahanydefender
13:34
۞ مَّثَلُٱلْجَنَّةِٱلَّتِىوُعِدَٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ۖتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖأُكُلُهَادَآئِمٌۭوَظِلُّهَا ۚتِلْكَعُقْبَىٱلَّذِينَٱتَّقَوا۟ ۖوَّعُقْبَىٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَٱلنَّارُ
l-nārul-kāfirīnawaʿuq'bāittaqawalladhīnaʿuq'bātil'kawaẓilluhādāimunukuluhāl-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrīl-mutaqūnawuʿidaallatīl-janatimathalu
The exampleof Paradisewhich(is) promised(to) the righteousflowsfromunderneath itthe riversIts food(is) everlastingand its shadeThis(is the) endof those who(are) righteousand (the) end(of) the disbelievers(is) the Fire
13:35
وَٱلَّذِينَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُٱلْكِتَـٰبَيَفْرَحُونَبِمَآأُنزِلَإِلَيْكَ ۖوَمِنَٱلْأَحْزَابِمَنيُنكِرُبَعْضَهُۥ ۚقُلْإِنَّمَآأُمِرْتُأَنْأَعْبُدَٱللَّهَوَلَآأُشْرِكَبِهِۦٓ ۚإِلَيْهِأَدْعُوا۟وَإِلَيْهِمَـَٔابِ
maābiwa-ilayhiadʿūilayhibihiush'rikawalāl-lahaaʿbudaanumir'tuinnamāqulbaʿḍahuyunkirumanl-aḥzābiwaminailaykaunzilabimāyafraḥūnal-kitābaātaynāhumuwa-alladhīna
And those (to) whomWe have given themthe Bookrejoiceat whathas been revealedto youbut amongthe groups(those) whodenya part of itSayOnlyI have been commandedthatI worshipAllahand notI associate partnerswith HimTo HimI calland to Him(is) my return
13:36
وَكَذَٰلِكَأَنزَلْنَـٰهُحُكْمًاعَرَبِيًّۭا ۚوَلَئِنِٱتَّبَعْتَأَهْوَآءَهُمبَعْدَ مَاجَآءَكَمِنَٱلْعِلْمِمَالَكَمِنَٱللَّهِمِنوَلِىٍّۢوَلَاوَاقٍۢ
wāqinwalāwaliyyinminl-lahiminalakamāl-ʿil'miminajāakabaʿdamāahwāahumittabaʿtawala-iniʿarabiyyanḥuk'mananzalnāhuwakadhālika
And thusWe have revealed it(to be) a judgment of authority(in) ArabicAnd ifyou followtheir desiresafter whatcame to youofthe knowledgenotfor youagainstAllahanyprotectorand notdefender
13:37
وَلَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَارُسُلًۭامِّنقَبْلِكَوَجَعَلْنَالَهُمْأَزْوَٰجًۭاوَذُرِّيَّةًۭ ۚوَمَاكَانَلِرَسُولٍأَنيَأْتِىَبِـَٔايَةٍإِلَّابِإِذْنِٱللَّهِ ۗلِكُلِّأَجَلٍۢكِتَابٌۭ
kitābunajalinlikullil-lahibi-idh'niillābiāyatinyatiyaanlirasūlinkānawamāwadhurriyyatanazwājanlahumwajaʿalnāqablikaminrusulanarsalnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe sentMessengersfrombefore youand We madefor themwivesand offspringAnd notwasfor a Messengerthathe comeswith a signexceptby the leave(of) AllahFor everything(is) a timeprescribed
13:38
يَمْحُوا۟ٱللَّهُمَايَشَآءُوَيُثْبِتُ ۖوَعِندَهُۥٓأُمُّٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābiummuwaʿindahuwayuth'bituyashāumāl-lahuyamḥū
(Is) eliminated(by) AllahwhatHe willsand confirmsand with Him(is) the Mother (of) the Book(is) the Mother (of) the Book
13:39
وَإِنمَّانُرِيَنَّكَبَعْضَٱلَّذِىنَعِدُهُمْأَوْنَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَفَإِنَّمَاعَلَيْكَٱلْبَلَـٰغُوَعَلَيْنَاٱلْحِسَابُ
l-ḥisābuwaʿalaynāl-balāghuʿalaykafa-innamānatawaffayannakaawnaʿiduhumalladhībaʿḍanuriyannakamāwa-in
And whether(what)We show youa part(of) whatWe have promised themorWe cause you to dieso onlyon you(is) the conveyanceand on Us(is) the reckoning
13:40
أَوَلَمْيَرَوْا۟أَنَّانَأْتِىٱلْأَرْضَنَنقُصُهَامِنْأَطْرَافِهَا ۚوَٱللَّهُيَحْكُمُلَامُعَقِّبَلِحُكْمِهِۦ ۚوَهُوَسَرِيعُٱلْحِسَابِ
l-ḥisābisarīʿuwahuwaliḥuk'mihimuʿaqqibalāyaḥkumuwal-lahuaṭrāfihāminnanquṣuhāl-arḍanatīannāyarawawalam
Did notthey seethat Wecome(to) the landreducing itfromits bordersAnd Allahjudges(there is) noadjuster(of) His JudgmentAnd He(is) Swift(in) the reckoning
13:41
وَقَدْمَكَرَٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْفَلِلَّهِٱلْمَكْرُجَمِيعًۭا ۖيَعْلَمُمَاتَكْسِبُكُلُّنَفْسٍۢ ۗوَسَيَعْلَمُٱلْكُفَّـٰرُلِمَنْعُقْبَىٱلدَّارِ
l-dāriʿuq'bālimanl-kufāruwasayaʿlamunafsinkullutaksibumāyaʿlamujamīʿanl-makrufalillahiqablihimminalladhīnamakarawaqad
And certainlyplottedthose who(were) frombefore thembut for Allah(is) the plotallHe knowswhatearnseverysouland will knowthe disbelieversfor whom(is) the finalthe home
13:42
وَيَقُولُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لَسْتَمُرْسَلًۭا ۚقُلْكَفَىٰبِٱللَّهِشَهِيدًۢابَيْنِىوَبَيْنَكُمْوَمَنْعِندَهُۥعِلْمُٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābiʿil'muʿindahuwamanwabaynakumbaynīshahīdanbil-lahikafāqulmur'salanlastakafarūalladhīnawayaqūlu
And saythose whodisbelieveYou are nota MessengerSaySufficient(is) Allah(as) a Witnessbetween meand between youand whoever[he] hasknowledge(of) the Book
13:43
Basmala
الٓر ۚكِتَـٰبٌأَنزَلْنَـٰهُإِلَيْكَلِتُخْرِجَٱلنَّاسَمِنَٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِإِلَىٱلنُّورِبِإِذْنِرَبِّهِمْإِلَىٰصِرَٰطِٱلْعَزِيزِٱلْحَمِيدِ
l-ḥamīdil-ʿazīziṣirāṭiilārabbihimbi-idh'nil-nūriilāl-ẓulumātiminal-nāsalitukh'rijailaykaanzalnāhukitābunalif-lam-ra
Alif Laam RaA Bookwhich We have revealedto youso that you may bring outthe mankindfromthe darkness[es]tothe lightby the permission(of) their Lordtothe Path(of) the All-Mightythe Praiseworthy
14:1
ٱللَّهِٱلَّذِىلَهُۥمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۗوَوَيْلٌۭلِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَمِنْعَذَابٍۢشَدِيدٍ
shadīdinʿadhābinminlil'kāfirīnawawaylunl-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmālahualladhīal-lahi
Allah(is) the Oneto Him (belongs)whatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earthAnd woeto the disbelieversfromthe punishmentsevere
14:2
ٱلَّذِينَيَسْتَحِبُّونَٱلْحَيَوٰةَٱلدُّنْيَاعَلَىٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِوَيَصُدُّونَعَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِوَيَبْغُونَهَاعِوَجًا ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۭبَعِيدٍۢ
baʿīdinḍalālinfīulāikaʿiwajanwayabghūnahāl-lahisabīliʿanwayaṣuddūnal-ākhiratiʿalāl-dun'yāl-ḥayatayastaḥibbūnaalladhīna
Those wholove morethe life(of) the worldthanthe Hereafterand hinderfrom(the) Path(of) Allahand seek in itcrookednessthose[in](are) far astray(are) far astray
14:3
وَمَآأَرْسَلْنَامِنرَّسُولٍإِلَّابِلِسَانِقَوْمِهِۦلِيُبَيِّنَلَهُمْ ۖفَيُضِلُّٱللَّهُمَنيَشَآءُوَيَهْدِىمَنيَشَآءُ ۚوَهُوَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿazīzuwahuwayashāumanwayahdīyashāumanl-lahufayuḍillulahumliyubayyinaqawmihibilisāniillārasūlinminarsalnāwamā
And notWe sentanyMessengerexceptwith the language(of) his peopleso that he might make clearfor themThen Allah lets go astrayThen Allah lets go astraywhomHe willsand guideswhomHe willsAnd He(is) the All-Mightythe All-Wise
14:4
وَلَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَامُوسَىٰبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآأَنْأَخْرِجْقَوْمَكَمِنَٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِإِلَىٱلنُّورِوَذَكِّرْهُمبِأَيَّىٰمِٱللَّهِ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّكُلِّصَبَّارٍۢشَكُورٍۢ
shakūrinṣabbārinlikullilaāyātindhālikafīinnal-lahibi-ayyāmiwadhakkir'huml-nūriilāl-ẓulumātiminaqawmakaakhrijanbiāyātināmūsāarsalnāwalaqad
And verilyWe sentMusawith Our SignsthatBring outyour peoplefromthe darkness[es]tothe lightAnd remind themof the days(of) AllahIndeedinthatsurely (are) the signsfor everyonepatientand thankful
14:5
وَإِذْقَالَمُوسَىٰلِقَوْمِهِٱذْكُرُوا۟نِعْمَةَٱللَّهِعَلَيْكُمْإِذْأَنجَىٰكُممِّنْءَالِفِرْعَوْنَيَسُومُونَكُمْسُوٓءَٱلْعَذَابِوَيُذَبِّحُونَأَبْنَآءَكُمْوَيَسْتَحْيُونَنِسَآءَكُمْ ۚوَفِىذَٰلِكُمبَلَآءٌۭمِّنرَّبِّكُمْعَظِيمٌۭ
ʿaẓīmunrabbikumminbalāondhālikumwafīnisāakumwayastaḥyūnaabnāakumwayudhabbiḥūnal-ʿadhābisūayasūmūnakumfir'ʿawnaāliminanjākumidhʿalaykuml-lahiniʿ'mataudh'kurūliqawmihimūsāqālawa-idh
And whensaidMusato his peopleRemember(the) Favor of Allah(the) Favor of Allahupon youwhenHe saved youfrom(the) people(of) Firaunthey were afflicting you(with) eviltormentand were slaughteringyour sonsand letting liveyour womenAnd inthat(was) a trialfromyour Lordgreat
14:6
وَإِذْتَأَذَّنَرَبُّكُمْلَئِنشَكَرْتُمْلَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖوَلَئِنكَفَرْتُمْإِنَّعَذَابِىلَشَدِيدٌۭ
lashadīdunʿadhābīinnakafartumwala-inla-azīdannakumshakartumla-inrabbukumta-adhanawa-idh
And whenproclaimedyour LordIfyou are thankfulsurely I will increase youbut ifyou are ungratefulindeedMy punishment(is) surely severe
14:7
وَقَالَمُوسَىٰٓإِنتَكْفُرُوٓا۟أَنتُمْوَمَنفِىٱلْأَرْضِجَمِيعًۭافَإِنَّٱللَّهَلَغَنِىٌّحَمِيدٌ
ḥamīdunlaghaniyyunl-lahafa-innajamīʿanl-arḍifīwamanantumtakfurūinmūsāwaqāla
And saidMusaIfyou disbelieveyouand whoever(is) inthe earthallthen indeedAllahcertainly (is) Free of needPraiseworthy
14:8
أَلَمْيَأْتِكُمْنَبَؤُا۟ٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِكُمْقَوْمِنُوحٍۢوَعَادٍۢوَثَمُودَ ۛوَٱلَّذِينَمِنۢبَعْدِهِمْ ۛلَايَعْلَمُهُمْإِلَّاٱللَّهُ ۚجَآءَتْهُمْرُسُلُهُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِفَرَدُّوٓا۟أَيْدِيَهُمْفِىٓأَفْوَٰهِهِمْوَقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّاكَفَرْنَابِمَآأُرْسِلْتُمبِهِۦوَإِنَّالَفِىشَكٍّۢمِّمَّاتَدْعُونَنَآإِلَيْهِمُرِيبٍۢ
murībinilayhitadʿūnanāmimmāshakkinlafīwa-innābihiur'sil'tumbimākafarnāinnāwaqālūafwāhihimfīaydiyahumfaraddūbil-bayinātirusuluhumjāathuml-lahuillāyaʿlamuhumlābaʿdihimminwa-alladhīnawathamūdawaʿādinnūḥinqawmiqablikumminalladhīnanaba-uyatikumalam
Has notcome to you(the) news(of) those who(were) before you(were) before youthe peopleof Nuhand Aadand Thamudand those who(were) after them(were) after themNoneknows themexceptAllahCame to themtheir Messengerswith clear proofsbut they returnedtheir handsintheir mouthsand they saidIndeed we[we] disbelievein whatyou have been sentwith [it]and indeed, we(are) surely indoubtabout whatyou invite usto itsuspicious
14:9
۞ قَالَتْرُسُلُهُمْأَفِىٱللَّهِشَكٌّۭفَاطِرِٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖيَدْعُوكُمْلِيَغْفِرَلَكُممِّنذُنُوبِكُمْوَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْإِلَىٰٓأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّۭى ۚقَالُوٓا۟إِنْأَنتُمْإِلَّابَشَرٌۭمِّثْلُنَاتُرِيدُونَأَنتَصُدُّونَاعَمَّاكَانَيَعْبُدُءَابَآؤُنَافَأْتُونَابِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninbisul'ṭāninfatūnāābāunāyaʿbudukānaʿammātaṣuddūnāanturīdūnamith'lunābasharunillāantuminqālūmusammanajalinilāwayu-akhirakumdhunūbikumminlakumliyaghfirayadʿūkumwal-arḍil-samāwātifāṭirishakkunl-lahiafīrusuluhumqālat
Saidtheir MessengersCan (there) be aboutAllahany doubt(the) Creator(of) the heavensand the earthHe invites youso that He may forgivefor you[of]your sinsand give you respitefora termappointedThey saidNotyou(are) buta humanlike usyou wishtohinder usfrom whatused toworshipour forefathersSo bring usan authorityclear
14:10
قَالَتْلَهُمْرُسُلُهُمْإِننَّحْنُإِلَّابَشَرٌۭمِّثْلُكُمْوَلَـٰكِنَّٱللَّهَيَمُنُّعَلَىٰمَنيَشَآءُمِنْعِبَادِهِۦ ۖوَمَاكَانَلَنَآأَننَّأْتِيَكُمبِسُلْطَـٰنٍإِلَّابِإِذْنِٱللَّهِ ۚوَعَلَىٱللَّهِفَلْيَتَوَكَّلِٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
l-mu'minūnafalyatawakkalil-lahiwaʿalāl-lahibi-idh'niillābisul'ṭāninnatiyakumanlanākānawamāʿibādihiminyashāumanʿalāyamunnul-lahawalākinnamith'lukumbasharunillānaḥnuinrusuluhumlahumqālat
Saidto themtheir MessengersNotwe (are)buta humanlike youbutAllahbestows His GraceonwhomHe willsofHis slavesAnd notisfor usthatwe bring youan authorityexceptby the permission of Allahby the permission of AllahAnd uponAllahso let put (their) trustthe believers
14:11
وَمَالَنَآأَلَّانَتَوَكَّلَعَلَىٱللَّهِوَقَدْهَدَىٰنَاسُبُلَنَا ۚوَلَنَصْبِرَنَّعَلَىٰمَآءَاذَيْتُمُونَا ۚوَعَلَىٱللَّهِفَلْيَتَوَكَّلِٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
l-mutawakilūnafalyatawakkalil-lahiwaʿalāādhaytumūnāmāʿalāwalanaṣbirannasubulanāhadānāwaqadl-lahiʿalānatawakkalaallālanāwamā
And what(is) for usthat notwe put our trustuponAllahwhile certainlyHe has guided usto our waysAnd surely we will bear with patienceonwhatharm you may cause usAnd uponAllahso let put (their) trustthe ones who put (their) trust
14:12
وَقَالَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لِرُسُلِهِمْلَنُخْرِجَنَّكُممِّنْأَرْضِنَآأَوْلَتَعُودُنَّفِىمِلَّتِنَا ۖفَأَوْحَىٰٓإِلَيْهِمْرَبُّهُمْلَنُهْلِكَنَّٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnalanuh'likannarabbuhumilayhimfa-awḥāmillatināfīlataʿūdunnaawarḍināminlanukh'rijannakumlirusulihimkafarūalladhīnawaqāla
And saidthose whodisbelievedto their MessengersSurely we will drive you outofour landorsurely you should returntoour religionSo inspiredto themtheir LordWe will surely destroythe wrongdoers
14:13
وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُٱلْأَرْضَمِنۢبَعْدِهِمْ ۚذَٰلِكَلِمَنْخَافَمَقَامِىوَخَافَوَعِيدِ
waʿīdiwakhāfamaqāmīkhāfalimandhālikabaʿdihimminl-arḍawalanus'kinannakumu
And surely We will make you dwell(in) the landafter themafter themThat(is) for whoeverfearsstanding before Meand fearsMy Threat
14:14
وَٱسْتَفْتَحُوا۟وَخَابَكُلُّجَبَّارٍعَنِيدٍۢ
ʿanīdinjabbārinkulluwakhābawa-is'taftaḥū
And they sought victoryand disappointedeverytyrantobstinate
14:15
مِّنوَرَآئِهِۦجَهَنَّمُوَيُسْقَىٰمِنمَّآءٍۢصَدِيدٍۢ
ṣadīdinmāinminwayus'qājahannamuwarāihimin
of himAhead(is) Helland he will be made to drinkofwaterpurulent
14:16
يَتَجَرَّعُهُۥوَلَايَكَادُيُسِيغُهُۥوَيَأْتِيهِٱلْمَوْتُمِنكُلِّمَكَانٍۢوَمَاهُوَبِمَيِّتٍۢ ۖوَمِنوَرَآئِهِۦعَذَابٌغَلِيظٌۭ
ghalīẓunʿadhābunwarāihiwaminbimayyitinhuwawamāmakāninkulliminl-mawtuwayatīhiyusīghuhuyakāduwalāyatajarraʿuhu
He will sip itbut nothe will be near(to) swallowing itAnd will come to himthe deathfromeverysidebut nothewill dieAnd ahead of himAnd ahead of him(is) a punishmentharsh
14:17
مَّثَلُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖأَعْمَـٰلُهُمْكَرَمَادٍٱشْتَدَّتْبِهِٱلرِّيحُفِىيَوْمٍعَاصِفٍۢ ۖلَّايَقْدِرُونَمِمَّاكَسَبُوا۟عَلَىٰشَىْءٍۢ ۚذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلضَّلَـٰلُٱلْبَعِيدُ
l-baʿīdul-ḍalāluhuwadhālikashayinʿalākasabūmimmāyaqdirūnalāʿāṣifinyawminfīl-rīḥubihiish'taddatkaramādinaʿmāluhumbirabbihimkafarūalladhīnamathalu
(The) example(of) those whodisbelievein their Lordtheir deeds(are) like ashesblows furiouslyon itthe windina daystormyNocontrol (they have)of whatthey have earnedonanythingThat[it](is) the strayingfar
14:18
أَلَمْتَرَأَنَّٱللَّهَخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَبِٱلْحَقِّ ۚإِنيَشَأْيُذْهِبْكُمْوَيَأْتِبِخَلْقٍۢجَدِيدٍۢ
jadīdinbikhalqinwayatiyudh'hib'kumyashainbil-ḥaqiwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqal-lahaannataraalam
Do notyou seethatAllahcreatedthe heavensand the earthin truthIfHe willsHe can remove youand bringa creationnew
14:19
وَمَاذَٰلِكَعَلَىٱللَّهِبِعَزِيزٍۢ
biʿazīzinl-lahiʿalādhālikawamā
And not(is) thatonAllahgreat
14:20
وَبَرَزُوا۟لِلَّهِجَمِيعًۭافَقَالَٱلضُّعَفَـٰٓؤُا۟لِلَّذِينَٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟إِنَّاكُنَّالَكُمْتَبَعًۭافَهَلْأَنتُممُّغْنُونَعَنَّامِنْعَذَابِٱللَّهِمِنشَىْءٍۢ ۚقَالُوا۟لَوْهَدَىٰنَاٱللَّهُلَهَدَيْنَـٰكُمْ ۖسَوَآءٌعَلَيْنَآأَجَزِعْنَآأَمْصَبَرْنَامَالَنَامِنمَّحِيصٍۢ
maḥīṣinminlanāmāṣabarnāamajaziʿ'nāʿalaynāsawāonlahadaynākuml-lahuhadānālawqālūshayinminl-lahiʿadhābiminʿannāmugh'nūnaantumfahaltabaʿanlakumkunnāinnāis'takbarūlilladhīnal-ḍuʿafāufaqālajamīʿanlillahiwabarazū
And they will come forthbefore Allahall togetherthen will saythe weakto those whowere arrogantIndeed wewe wereyourfollowersso canyou (be)the one who availsusfrom(the) punishment(of) AllahanythinganythingThey will sayIfAllah had guided usAllah had guided ussurely we would have guided you(It is) samefor uswhether we show intoleranceorwe are patientnot(is) for usanyplace of escape
14:21
وَقَالَٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُلَمَّاقُضِىَٱلْأَمْرُإِنَّٱللَّهَوَعَدَكُمْوَعْدَٱلْحَقِّوَوَعَدتُّكُمْفَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ ۖوَمَاكَانَلِىَعَلَيْكُممِّنسُلْطَـٰنٍإِلَّآأَندَعَوْتُكُمْفَٱسْتَجَبْتُمْلِى ۖفَلَاتَلُومُونِىوَلُومُوٓا۟أَنفُسَكُم ۖمَّآأَنَا۠بِمُصْرِخِكُمْوَمَآأَنتُمبِمُصْرِخِىَّ ۖإِنِّىكَفَرْتُبِمَآأَشْرَكْتُمُونِمِنقَبْلُ ۗإِنَّٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَلَهُمْعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌۭ
alīmunʿadhābunlahuml-ẓālimīnainnaqabluminashraktumūnibimākafartuinnībimuṣ'rikhiyyaantumwamābimuṣ'rikhikumanāmāanfusakumwalūmūtalūmūnīfalālīfa-is'tajabtumdaʿawtukumanillāsul'ṭāninminʿalaykumliyakānawamāfa-akhlaftukumwawaʿadttukuml-ḥaqiwaʿdawaʿadakuml-lahainnal-amruquḍiyalammāl-shayṭānuwaqāla
And will saythe Shaitaanwhenhas been decidedthe matterIndeedAllahpromised youa promise(of) truthAnd I promised youbut I betrayed youBut notI hadI hadover youanyauthorityexceptthatI invited youand you respondedto meSo (do) notblame mebut blameyourselvesNot(can) I(be) your helperand notyou (can)(be) my helperIndeed, Ideny[of what]your association of me (with Allah)beforebeforeIndeedthe wrongdoersfor them(is) a punishmentpainful
14:22
وَأُدْخِلَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِجَنَّـٰتٍۢتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَابِإِذْنِرَبِّهِمْ ۖتَحِيَّتُهُمْفِيهَاسَلَـٰمٌ
salāmunfīhātaḥiyyatuhumrabbihimbi-idh'nifīhākhālidīnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrījannātinl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnawa-ud'khila
And will be admittedthose whobelievedand didrighteous deeds(to) Gardensflowsfromunderneath itthe rivers(will) abide foreverin itby the permission(of) their Lordtheir greetingstherein(will be) peace
14:23
أَلَمْتَرَكَيْفَضَرَبَٱللَّهُمَثَلًۭاكَلِمَةًۭطَيِّبَةًۭكَشَجَرَةٍۢطَيِّبَةٍأَصْلُهَاثَابِتٌۭوَفَرْعُهَافِىٱلسَّمَآءِ
l-samāifīwafarʿuhāthābitunaṣluhāṭayyibatinkashajaratinṭayyibatankalimatanmathalanl-lahuḍarabakayfataraalam
Do notyou seehowAllah sets forthAllah sets forththe examplea wordgood(is) like a treegoodits root(is) firmand its branches(are) inthe sky
14:24
تُؤْتِىٓأُكُلَهَاكُلَّحِينٍۭبِإِذْنِرَبِّهَا ۗوَيَضْرِبُٱللَّهُٱلْأَمْثَالَلِلنَّاسِلَعَلَّهُمْيَتَذَكَّرُونَ
yatadhakkarūnalaʿallahumlilnnāsil-amthālal-lahuwayaḍriburabbihābi-idh'niḥīninkullaukulahātu'tī
Givingits fruitalltimeby the permissionof its LordAnd Allah sets forthAnd Allah sets forththe examplesfor mankindso that they mayremember
14:25
وَمَثَلُكَلِمَةٍخَبِيثَةٍۢكَشَجَرَةٍخَبِيثَةٍٱجْتُثَّتْمِنفَوْقِٱلْأَرْضِمَالَهَامِنقَرَارٍۢ
qarārinminlahāmāl-arḍifawqiminuj'tuthatkhabīthatinkashajaratinkhabīthatinkalimatinwamathalu
And (the) example(of) a wordevil(is) like a treeeviluprootedfromthe surface(of) the earthnotfor it(is) anystability
14:26
يُثَبِّتُٱللَّهُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟بِٱلْقَوْلِٱلثَّابِتِفِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاوَفِىٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖوَيُضِلُّٱللَّهُٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ۚوَيَفْعَلُٱللَّهُمَايَشَآءُ
yashāumāl-lahuwayafʿalul-ẓālimīnal-lahuwayuḍillul-ākhiratiwafīl-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīl-thābitibil-qawliāmanūalladhīnal-lahuyuthabbitu
Allah keeps firmAllah keeps firmthose whobelievewith the firm wordwith the firm wordinthe life(of) the worldand inthe HereafterAnd Allah lets go astrayAnd Allah lets go astraythe wrongdoersAnd Allah doesAnd Allah doeswhatHe wills
14:27
۞ أَلَمْتَرَإِلَىٱلَّذِينَبَدَّلُوا۟نِعْمَتَٱللَّهِكُفْرًۭاوَأَحَلُّوا۟قَوْمَهُمْدَارَٱلْبَوَارِ
l-bawāridāraqawmahumwa-aḥallūkuf'ranl-lahiniʿ'matabaddalūalladhīnailātaraalam
Have notyou seen[to]those who(have) changed(the) Favor(of) Allah(for) disbeliefand they ledtheir people(to the) house(of) destruction
14:28
جَهَنَّمَيَصْلَوْنَهَا ۖوَبِئْسَٱلْقَرَارُ
l-qarāruwabi'sayaṣlawnahājahannama
Hell(in) it they will burnand a wretchedplace to settle
14:29
وَجَعَلُوا۟لِلَّهِأَندَادًۭالِّيُضِلُّوا۟عَنسَبِيلِهِۦ ۗقُلْتَمَتَّعُوا۟فَإِنَّمَصِيرَكُمْإِلَىٱلنَّارِ
l-nāriilāmaṣīrakumfa-innatamattaʿūqulsabīlihiʿanliyuḍillūandādanlillahiwajaʿalū
And they set upto Allahequalsso that they misleadfromHis PathSayEnjoybut indeedyour destination(is) tothe Fire
14:30
قُللِّعِبَادِىَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟يُقِيمُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَيُنفِقُوا۟مِمَّارَزَقْنَـٰهُمْسِرًّۭاوَعَلَانِيَةًۭمِّنقَبْلِأَنيَأْتِىَيَوْمٌۭلَّابَيْعٌۭفِيهِوَلَاخِلَـٰلٌ
khilālunwalāfīhibayʿunlāyawmunyatiyaanqabliminwaʿalāniyatansirranrazaqnāhummimmāwayunfiqūl-ṣalatayuqīmūāmanūalladhīnaliʿibādiyaqul
Sayto My slavesthose whobelieve(to) establishthe prayersand (to) spendfrom whatWe have provided themsecretlyand publiclybeforebefore[that]comesa Daynotany tradein itand notany friendship
14:31
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَأَنزَلَمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۭفَأَخْرَجَبِهِۦمِنَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِرِزْقًۭالَّكُمْ ۖوَسَخَّرَلَكُمُٱلْفُلْكَلِتَجْرِىَفِىٱلْبَحْرِبِأَمْرِهِۦ ۖوَسَخَّرَلَكُمُٱلْأَنْهَـٰرَ
l-anhāralakumuwasakharabi-amrihil-baḥrifīlitajriyal-ful'kalakumuwasakharalakumriz'qanl-thamarātiminabihifa-akhrajamāanl-samāiminawa-anzalawal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqaalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whocreatedthe heavensand the earthand sent downfromthe skywaterthen brought forthfrom itofthe fruits(as) a provisionfor youand subjectedfor youthe shipsso that they may sailinthe seaby His commandand subjectedfor youthe rivers
14:32
وَسَخَّرَلَكُمُٱلشَّمْسَوَٱلْقَمَرَدَآئِبَيْنِ ۖوَسَخَّرَلَكُمُٱلَّيْلَوَٱلنَّهَارَ
wal-nahāraal-laylalakumuwasakharadāibayniwal-qamaral-shamsalakumuwasakhara
And He subjectedfor youthe sunand the moonboth constantly pursuing their coursesand subjectedfor youthe nightand the day
14:33
وَءَاتَىٰكُممِّنكُلِّمَاسَأَلْتُمُوهُ ۚوَإِنتَعُدُّوا۟نِعْمَتَٱللَّهِلَاتُحْصُوهَآ ۗإِنَّٱلْإِنسَـٰنَلَظَلُومٌۭكَفَّارٌۭ
kaffārunlaẓalūmunl-insānainnatuḥ'ṣūhālāl-lahiniʿ'matataʿuddūwa-insa-altumūhumākulliminwaātākum
And He gave youofallwhatyou asked of HimAnd ifyou count(the) Favor of Allah(the) Favor of Allahnotyou will (be able to) count themIndeedthe mankind(is) surely unjust(and) ungrateful
14:34
وَإِذْقَالَإِبْرَٰهِيمُرَبِّٱجْعَلْهَـٰذَاٱلْبَلَدَءَامِنًۭاوَٱجْنُبْنِىوَبَنِىَّأَننَّعْبُدَٱلْأَصْنَامَ
l-aṣnāmanaʿbudaanwabaniyyawa-uj'nub'nīāminanl-baladahādhāij'ʿalrabbiib'rāhīmuqālawa-idh
And whensaidIbrahimMy LordMakethiscitysafeand keep me awayand my sonsthatwe worshipthe idols
14:35
رَبِّإِنَّهُنَّأَضْلَلْنَكَثِيرًۭامِّنَٱلنَّاسِ ۖفَمَنتَبِعَنِىفَإِنَّهُۥمِنِّى ۖوَمَنْعَصَانِىفَإِنَّكَغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunghafūrunfa-innakaʿaṣānīwamanminnīfa-innahutabiʿanīfamanl-nāsiminakathīranaḍlalnainnahunnarabbi
My LordIndeed, theyhave led astraymanyamongthe mankindSo whoeverfollows methen indeed, he(is) of meand whoeverdisobeys methen indeed, You(are) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
14:36
رَّبَّنَآإِنِّىٓأَسْكَنتُمِنذُرِّيَّتِىبِوَادٍغَيْرِذِىزَرْعٍعِندَبَيْتِكَٱلْمُحَرَّمِرَبَّنَالِيُقِيمُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَفَٱجْعَلْأَفْـِٔدَةًۭمِّنَٱلنَّاسِتَهْوِىٓإِلَيْهِمْوَٱرْزُقْهُممِّنَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِلَعَلَّهُمْيَشْكُرُونَ
yashkurūnalaʿallahuml-thamarātiminawa-ur'zuq'humilayhimtahwīl-nāsiminaafidatanfa-ij'ʿall-ṣalataliyuqīmūrabbanāl-muḥaramibaytikaʿindazarʿindhīghayribiwādindhurriyyatīminaskantuinnīrabbanā
Our LordIndeed, I[I] have settled(some) ofmy offspringsin a valleynotwithcultivationnearYour Sacred HouseYour Sacred Houseour LordThat they may establishthe prayersSo makeheartsofthe meninclinetowards themand provide themwiththe fruitsso that they maybe grateful
14:37
رَبَّنَآإِنَّكَتَعْلَمُمَانُخْفِىوَمَانُعْلِنُ ۗوَمَايَخْفَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِمِنشَىْءٍۢفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَلَافِىٱلسَّمَآءِ
l-samāifīwalāl-arḍifīshayinminl-lahiʿalāyakhfāwamānuʿ'linuwamānukh'fīmātaʿlamuinnakarabbanā
Our LordIndeed, YouYou knowwhatwe concealand whatwe proclaimAnd not(is) hiddenfromAllahanythinginthe earthand notinthe heaven
14:38
ٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِٱلَّذِىوَهَبَلِىعَلَىٱلْكِبَرِإِسْمَـٰعِيلَوَإِسْحَـٰقَ ۚإِنَّرَبِّىلَسَمِيعُٱلدُّعَآءِ
l-duʿāilasamīʿurabbīinnawa-is'ḥāqais'māʿīlal-kibariʿalālīwahabaalladhīlillahial-ḥamdu
All the Praise(is) for Allahthe One Whohas grantedmeinthe old ageIshmaeland IsaacIndeedmy Lord(is) All-Hearer(of) the prayer
14:39
رَبِّٱجْعَلْنِىمُقِيمَٱلصَّلَوٰةِوَمِنذُرِّيَّتِى ۚرَبَّنَاوَتَقَبَّلْدُعَآءِ
duʿāiwataqabbalrabbanādhurriyyatīwaminl-ṣalatimuqīmaij'ʿalnīrabbi
My LordMake mean establisher(of) the prayerand frommy offspringsOur Lordand acceptmy prayer
14:40
رَبَّنَاٱغْفِرْلِىوَلِوَٰلِدَىَّوَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَيَوْمَيَقُومُٱلْحِسَابُ
l-ḥisābuyaqūmuyawmawalil'mu'minīnawaliwālidayyalīigh'firrabbanā
Our LordForgivemeand my parentsand the believers(on) the Daywill (be) establishedthe account
14:41
وَلَاتَحْسَبَنَّٱللَّهَغَـٰفِلًاعَمَّايَعْمَلُٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ۚإِنَّمَايُؤَخِّرُهُمْلِيَوْمٍۢتَشْخَصُفِيهِٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ
l-abṣārufīhitashkhaṣuliyawminyu-akhiruhuminnamāl-ẓālimūnayaʿmaluʿammāghāfilanl-lahataḥsabannawalā
And (do) notthink(that) Allah(is) unawareof whatdothe wrongdoersOnlyHe gives them respiteto a Daywill starein itthe eyes
14:42
مُهْطِعِينَمُقْنِعِىرُءُوسِهِمْلَايَرْتَدُّإِلَيْهِمْطَرْفُهُمْ ۖوَأَفْـِٔدَتُهُمْهَوَآءٌۭ
hawāonwa-afidatuhumṭarfuhumilayhimyartaddulāruūsihimmuq'niʿīmuh'ṭiʿīna
Racing aheadraised uptheir headsnotreturningtowards themtheir gazeand their hearts(are) empty
14:43
وَأَنذِرِٱلنَّاسَيَوْمَيَأْتِيهِمُٱلْعَذَابُفَيَقُولُٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟رَبَّنَآأَخِّرْنَآإِلَىٰٓأَجَلٍۢقَرِيبٍۢنُّجِبْدَعْوَتَكَوَنَتَّبِعِٱلرُّسُلَ ۗأَوَلَمْتَكُونُوٓا۟أَقْسَمْتُممِّنقَبْلُمَالَكُممِّنزَوَالٍۢ
zawālinminlakummāqabluminaqsamtumtakūnūawalaml-rusulawanattabiʿidaʿwatakanujibqarībinajalinilāakhir'nārabbanāẓalamūalladhīnafayaqūlul-ʿadhābuyatīhimuyawmal-nāsawa-andhiri
And warnthe mankind(of) a Day(when) will come to themthe punishmentthen will saythose whodid wrongOur LordRespite usfora termshortwe will answerYour calland we will followthe MessengersHad notyouswornbeforebeforenotfor youanyend
14:44
وَسَكَنتُمْفِىمَسَـٰكِنِٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوٓا۟أَنفُسَهُمْوَتَبَيَّنَلَكُمْكَيْفَفَعَلْنَابِهِمْوَضَرَبْنَالَكُمُٱلْأَمْثَالَ
l-amthālalakumuwaḍarabnābihimfaʿalnākayfalakumwatabayyanaanfusahumẓalamūalladhīnamasākinifīwasakantum
And you dweltinthe dwellings(of) those whowrongedthemselvesand it had become clearto youhowWe dealtwith themand We put forthfor youthe examples
14:45
وَقَدْمَكَرُوا۟مَكْرَهُمْوَعِندَٱللَّهِمَكْرُهُمْوَإِنكَانَمَكْرُهُمْلِتَزُولَمِنْهُٱلْجِبَالُ
l-jibālumin'hulitazūlamakruhumkānawa-inmakruhuml-lahiwaʿindamakrahummakarūwaqad
And indeedthey plannedtheir planbut withAllah(was) their planeven ifwastheir planthat should be movedby itthe mountains
14:46
فَلَاتَحْسَبَنَّٱللَّهَمُخْلِفَوَعْدِهِۦرُسُلَهُۥٓ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَعَزِيزٌۭذُوٱنتِقَامٍۢ
intiqāmindhūʿazīzunl-lahainnarusulahuwaʿdihimukh'lifal-lahataḥsabannafalā
So (do) notthink(that) Allahwill fail(to) keep His Promise(to) His MessengersIndeedAllah(is) All-MightyOwner (of) RetributionOwner (of) Retribution
14:47
يَوْمَتُبَدَّلُٱلْأَرْضُغَيْرَٱلْأَرْضِوَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ ۖوَبَرَزُوا۟لِلَّهِٱلْوَٰحِدِٱلْقَهَّارِ
l-qahāril-wāḥidilillahiwabarazūwal-samāwātul-arḍighayral-arḍutubaddaluyawma
(On the) Daywill be changedthe earth(to) other (than)the earthand the heavensand they will come forthbefore Allahthe Onethe Irresistible
14:48
وَتَرَىٱلْمُجْرِمِينَيَوْمَئِذٍۢمُّقَرَّنِينَفِىٱلْأَصْفَادِ
l-aṣfādifīmuqarranīnayawma-idhinl-muj'rimīnawatarā
And you will seethe criminals(on) that Daybound togetherinthe chains
14:49
سَرَابِيلُهُممِّنقَطِرَانٍۢوَتَغْشَىٰوُجُوهَهُمُٱلنَّارُ
l-nāruwujūhahumuwataghshāqaṭirāninminsarābīluhum
Their garmentsoftarand will covertheir facesthe Fire
14:50
لِيَجْزِىَٱللَّهُكُلَّنَفْسٍۢمَّاكَسَبَتْ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَسَرِيعُٱلْحِسَابِ
l-ḥisābisarīʿul-lahainnakasabatmānafsinkullal-lahuliyajziya
So that Allah may recompenseSo that Allah may recompenseeachsoul(for) whatit earnedIndeedAllah(is) Swift(in) the reckoning
14:51
هَـٰذَابَلَـٰغٌۭلِّلنَّاسِوَلِيُنذَرُوا۟بِهِۦوَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّمَاهُوَإِلَـٰهٌۭوَٰحِدٌۭوَلِيَذَّكَّرَأُو۟لُوا۟ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ
l-albābiulūwaliyadhakkarawāḥidunilāhunhuwaannamāwaliyaʿlamūbihiwaliyundharūlilnnāsibalāghunhādhā
This(is) a Messagefor the mankindthat they may be warnedwith itand that they may knowthat onlyHe(is) One God(is) One Godand that may take heedmen(of) understanding
14:52
