Basmala
۞ قَالَأَلَمْأَقُللَّكَإِنَّكَلَنتَسْتَطِيعَمَعِىَصَبْرًۭا
ṣabranmaʿiyatastaṭīʿalaninnakalakaaqulalamqāla
He saidDid notI sayto youthat youneverwill be ablewith me(to have) patience
18:75
قَالَإِنسَأَلْتُكَعَنشَىْءٍۭبَعْدَهَافَلَاتُصَـٰحِبْنِى ۖقَدْبَلَغْتَمِنلَّدُنِّىعُذْرًۭا
ʿudh'ranladunnīminbalaghtaqadtuṣāḥib'nīfalābaʿdahāshayinʿansa-altukainqāla
He saidIfI ask youaboutanythingafter itthen (do) notkeep me as a companionVerilyyou have reachedfrom mefrom mean excuse
18:76
فَٱنطَلَقَاحَتَّىٰٓإِذَآأَتَيَآأَهْلَقَرْيَةٍٱسْتَطْعَمَآأَهْلَهَافَأَبَوْا۟أَنيُضَيِّفُوهُمَافَوَجَدَافِيهَاجِدَارًۭايُرِيدُأَنيَنقَضَّفَأَقَامَهُۥ ۖقَالَلَوْشِئْتَلَتَّخَذْتَعَلَيْهِأَجْرًۭا
ajranʿalayhilattakhadhtashi'talawqālafa-aqāmahuyanqaḍḍaanyurīdujidāranfīhāfawajadāyuḍayyifūhumāanfa-abawahlahāis'taṭʿamāqaryatinahlaatayāidhāḥattāfa-inṭalaqā
So they set outuntilwhenthey came(to the) people(of) a townthey asked for food(from) its peoplebut they refusedtooffer them hospitalityThen they foundin ita wall(that) want(ed)tocollapseso he set it straightHe saidIfyou wishedsurely you (could) have takenfor ita payment
18:77
قَالَهَـٰذَافِرَاقُبَيْنِىوَبَيْنِكَ ۚسَأُنَبِّئُكَبِتَأْوِيلِمَالَمْتَسْتَطِععَّلَيْهِصَبْرًا
ṣabranʿalayhitastaṭiʿlambitawīlisa-unabbi-ukawabaynikabaynīfirāquhādhāqāla
He saidThis(is) partingbetween meand between youI will inform youof (the) interpretation(of) whatnotyou were ableon it(to have) patience
18:78
أَمَّاٱلسَّفِينَةُفَكَانَتْلِمَسَـٰكِينَيَعْمَلُونَفِىٱلْبَحْرِفَأَرَدتُّأَنْأَعِيبَهَاوَكَانَوَرَآءَهُممَّلِكٌۭيَأْخُذُكُلَّسَفِينَةٍغَصْبًۭا
ghaṣbansafīnatinkullayakhudhumalikunwarāahumwakānaaʿībahāanfa-aradttul-baḥriyaʿmalūnalimasākīnafakānatl-safīnatuammā
As forthe shipit wasof (the) poor peopleworkinginthe seaSo I intendedthatI cause defect (in) it(as there) wasafter thema kingwho seizedeveryship(by) force
18:79
وَأَمَّاٱلْغُلَـٰمُفَكَانَأَبَوَاهُمُؤْمِنَيْنِفَخَشِينَآأَنيُرْهِقَهُمَاطُغْيَـٰنًۭاوَكُفْرًۭا
wakuf'ranṭugh'yānanyur'hiqahumāanfakhashīnāmu'minayniabawāhufakānal-ghulāmuwa-ammā
And as forthe boyhis parents werehis parents werebelieversand we fearedthathe would overburden them(by) transgressionand disbelief
18:80
فَأَرَدْنَآأَنيُبْدِلَهُمَارَبُّهُمَاخَيْرًۭامِّنْهُزَكَوٰةًۭوَأَقْرَبَرُحْمًۭا
ruḥ'manwa-aqrabazakatanmin'hukhayranrabbuhumāyub'dilahumāanfa-aradnā
So we intendedthatwould change for themtheir Lorda betterthan him(in) purityand nearer(in) affection
18:81
وَأَمَّاٱلْجِدَارُفَكَانَلِغُلَـٰمَيْنِيَتِيمَيْنِفِىٱلْمَدِينَةِوَكَانَتَحْتَهُۥكَنزٌۭلَّهُمَاوَكَانَأَبُوهُمَاصَـٰلِحًۭافَأَرَادَرَبُّكَأَنيَبْلُغَآأَشُدَّهُمَاوَيَسْتَخْرِجَاكَنزَهُمَارَحْمَةًۭمِّنرَّبِّكَ ۚوَمَافَعَلْتُهُۥعَنْأَمْرِى ۚذَٰلِكَتَأْوِيلُمَالَمْتَسْطِععَّلَيْهِصَبْرًۭا
ṣabranʿalayhitasṭiʿlamtawīludhālikaamrīʿanfaʿaltuhuwamārabbikaminraḥmatankanzahumāwayastakhrijāashuddahumāyablughāanrabbukafa-arādaṣāliḥanabūhumāwakānalahumākanzuntaḥtahuwakānal-madīnatiyatīmaynilighulāmaynifakānal-jidāruwa-ammā
And as forthe wallit wasfor two orphan boysfor two orphan boysinthe townand wasunderneath ita treasurefor themand wastheir fatherrighteousSo intendedyour Lordthatthey reachtheir maturityand bring forththeir treasure(as) a mercyfromyour LordAnd notI did itonmy (own) accordThat(is the) interpretation(of) whatnotyou were ableon it(to have) patience
18:82
وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَعَنذِىٱلْقَرْنَيْنِ ۖقُلْسَأَتْلُوا۟عَلَيْكُممِّنْهُذِكْرًا
dhik'ranmin'huʿalaykumsa-atlūqull-qarnaynidhīʿanwayasalūnaka
And they ask youaboutDhul-qarnainDhul-qarnainSayI will reciteto youabout hima remembrance
18:83
إِنَّامَكَّنَّالَهُۥفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمِنكُلِّشَىْءٍۢسَبَبًۭا
sababanshayinkulliminwaātaynāhul-arḍilahumakkannāinnā
Indeed, We[We] established[for] himinthe earthand We gave himofeverythinga means
18:84
فَأَتْبَعَسَبَبًا
sababanfa-atbaʿa
So he followeda course
18:85
حَتَّىٰٓإِذَابَلَغَمَغْرِبَٱلشَّمْسِوَجَدَهَاتَغْرُبُفِىعَيْنٍحَمِئَةٍۢوَوَجَدَعِندَهَاقَوْمًۭا ۗقُلْنَايَـٰذَاٱلْقَرْنَيْنِإِمَّآأَنتُعَذِّبَوَإِمَّآأَنتَتَّخِذَفِيهِمْحُسْنًۭا
ḥus'nanfīhimtattakhidhaanwa-immātuʿadhibaanimmāl-qarnayniyādhāqul'nāqawmanʿindahāwawajadaḥami-atinʿaynintaghrubuwajadahāl-shamsimaghribabalaghaidhāḥattā
Untilwhenhe reached(the) setting place(of) the sunhe found itsettingina spring(of) dark mudand he foundnear ita communityWe saidO Dhul-qarnainO Dhul-qarnainEither[that]you punishor[that]you take[in] them(with) goodness
18:86
قَالَأَمَّامَنظَلَمَفَسَوْفَنُعَذِّبُهُۥثُمَّيُرَدُّإِلَىٰرَبِّهِۦفَيُعَذِّبُهُۥعَذَابًۭانُّكْرًۭا
nuk'ranʿadhābanfayuʿadhibuhurabbihiilāyuradduthummanuʿadhibuhufasawfaẓalamamanammāqāla
He saidAs for(one) whowrongsthen soonwe will punish himThenhe will be returnedtohis Lordand He will punish him(with) a punishmentterrible
18:87
وَأَمَّامَنْءَامَنَوَعَمِلَصَـٰلِحًۭافَلَهُۥجَزَآءًٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۖوَسَنَقُولُلَهُۥمِنْأَمْرِنَايُسْرًۭا
yus'ranamrināminlahuwasanaqūlul-ḥus'nājazāanfalahuṣāliḥanwaʿamilaāmanamanwa-ammā
But as for(one) whobelievesand doesrighteous (deeds)then for him(is) a rewardgoodAnd we will speakto himfromour command(with) ease
18:88
ثُمَّأَتْبَعَسَبَبًا
sababanatbaʿathumma
Thenhe followed(a) course
18:89
حَتَّىٰٓإِذَابَلَغَمَطْلِعَٱلشَّمْسِوَجَدَهَاتَطْلُعُعَلَىٰقَوْمٍۢلَّمْنَجْعَللَّهُممِّندُونِهَاسِتْرًۭا
sit'randūnihāminlahumnajʿallamqawminʿalātaṭluʿuwajadahāl-shamsimaṭliʿabalaghaidhāḥattā
Untilwhenhe reached(the) rising place(of) the sunand he found itrisingona communitynotWe madefor themagainst itagainst itany shelter
18:90
كَذَٰلِكَوَقَدْأَحَطْنَابِمَالَدَيْهِخُبْرًۭا
khub'ranladayhibimāaḥaṭnāwaqadkadhālika
ThusAnd verilyWe encompassedof what(was) with him(of the) information
18:91
ثُمَّأَتْبَعَسَبَبًا
sababanatbaʿathumma
Thenhe followeda course
18:92
حَتَّىٰٓإِذَابَلَغَبَيْنَٱلسَّدَّيْنِوَجَدَمِندُونِهِمَاقَوْمًۭالَّايَكَادُونَيَفْقَهُونَقَوْلًۭا
qawlanyafqahūnayakādūnaqawmandūnihimāminwajadal-sadaynibaynabalaghaidhāḥattā
Untilwhenhe reachedbetweenthe two mountainshe foundbesides thembesides thema communitynotwho would almostunderstand(his) speech
18:93
قَالُوا۟يَـٰذَاٱلْقَرْنَيْنِإِنَّيَأْجُوجَوَمَأْجُوجَمُفْسِدُونَفِىٱلْأَرْضِفَهَلْنَجْعَلُلَكَخَرْجًاعَلَىٰٓأَنتَجْعَلَبَيْنَنَاوَبَيْنَهُمْسَدًّۭا
saddanwabaynahumbaynanātajʿalaanʿalākharjanlakanajʿalufahall-arḍimuf'sidūnawamajūjayajūjainnal-qarnayniyādhāqālū
They saidO Dhul-qarnainO Dhul-qarnainIndeedYajujand Majuj(are) corruptersinthe landSo maywe makefor youan expenditure[on]thatyou makebetween usand between thema barrier
18:94
قَالَمَامَكَّنِّىفِيهِرَبِّىخَيْرٌۭفَأَعِينُونِىبِقُوَّةٍأَجْعَلْبَيْنَكُمْوَبَيْنَهُمْرَدْمًا
radmanwabaynahumbaynakumajʿalbiquwwatinfa-aʿīnūnīkhayrunrabbīfīhimakkannīqāla
He saidWhathas established me[in it]my Lord(is) betterbut assist mewith strengthI will makebetween youand between thema barrier
18:95
ءَاتُونِىزُبَرَٱلْحَدِيدِ ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاسَاوَىٰبَيْنَٱلصَّدَفَيْنِقَالَٱنفُخُوا۟ ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاجَعَلَهُۥنَارًۭاقَالَءَاتُونِىٓأُفْرِغْعَلَيْهِقِطْرًۭا
qiṭ'ranʿalayhiuf'righātūnīqālanāranjaʿalahuidhāḥattāunfukhūqālal-ṣadafaynibaynasāwāidhāḥattāl-ḥadīdizubaraātūnī
Bring mesheets(of) ironuntilwhenhe (had) leveledbetweenthe two cliffshe saidBlowuntilwhenhe made itfirehe saidBring meI pourover itmolten copper
18:96
فَمَاٱسْطَـٰعُوٓا۟أَنيَظْهَرُوهُوَمَاٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟لَهُۥنَقْبًۭا
naqbanlahuis'taṭāʿūwamāyaẓharūhuanis'ṭāʿūfamā
So notthey were abletoscale itand notthey were ablein it(to do) any penetration
18:97
قَالَهَـٰذَارَحْمَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّى ۖفَإِذَاجَآءَوَعْدُرَبِّىجَعَلَهُۥدَكَّآءَ ۖوَكَانَوَعْدُرَبِّىحَقًّۭا
ḥaqqanrabbīwaʿduwakānadakkāajaʿalahurabbīwaʿdujāafa-idhārabbīminraḥmatunhādhāqāla
He saidThis(is) a mercyfrommy LordBut whencomes(the) Promise(of) my LordHe will make itlevelAnd is(the) Promise(of) my Lordtrue
18:98
۞ وَتَرَكْنَابَعْضَهُمْيَوْمَئِذٍۢيَمُوجُفِىبَعْضٍۢ ۖوَنُفِخَفِىٱلصُّورِفَجَمَعْنَـٰهُمْجَمْعًۭا
jamʿanfajamaʿnāhuml-ṣūriwanufikhabaʿḍinyamūjuyawma-idhinbaʿḍahumwataraknā
And We (will) leavesome of them(on) that Dayto surgeoverothersand (will be) blowninthe trumpetthen We (will) gather themall together
18:99
وَعَرَضْنَاجَهَنَّمَيَوْمَئِذٍۢلِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَعَرْضًا
ʿarḍanlil'kāfirīnayawma-idhinjahannamawaʿaraḍnā
And We (will) presentHell(on) that Dayto the disbelievers(on) display
18:100
ٱلَّذِينَكَانَتْأَعْيُنُهُمْفِىغِطَآءٍعَنذِكْرِىوَكَانُوا۟لَايَسْتَطِيعُونَسَمْعًا
samʿanyastaṭīʿūnawakānūdhik'rīʿanghiṭāinaʿyunuhumkānatalladhīna
Thosehad beentheir eyeswithina coverfromMy remembranceand werenotable(to) hear
18:101
أَفَحَسِبَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟أَنيَتَّخِذُوا۟عِبَادِىمِندُونِىٓأَوْلِيَآءَ ۚإِنَّآأَعْتَدْنَاجَهَنَّمَلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَنُزُلًۭا
nuzulanlil'kāfirīnajahannamaaʿtadnāinnāawliyāadūnīminʿibādīyattakhidhūankafarūalladhīnaafaḥasiba
Do then thinkthose whodisbelievethatthey (can) takeMy servantsbesides Mebesides Me(as) protectorsIndeed, We We have preparedHellfor the disbelievers(as) a lodging
18:102
قُلْهَلْنُنَبِّئُكُمبِٱلْأَخْسَرِينَأَعْمَـٰلًا
aʿmālanbil-akhsarīnanunabbi-ukumhalqul
SayShallWe inform youof the greatest losers(as to their) deeds
18:103
ٱلَّذِينَضَلَّسَعْيُهُمْفِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاوَهُمْيَحْسَبُونَأَنَّهُمْيُحْسِنُونَصُنْعًا
ṣun'ʿanyuḥ'sinūnaannahumyaḥsabūnawahuml-dun'yāl-ḥayatisaʿyuhumḍallaalladhīna
Those is losttheir effortinthe life(of) the worldwhile theythinkthat they(were) acquiring good(in) work
18:104
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِرَبِّهِمْوَلِقَآئِهِۦفَحَبِطَتْأَعْمَـٰلُهُمْفَلَانُقِيمُلَهُمْيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِوَزْنًۭا
waznanl-qiyāmatiyawmalahumnuqīmufalāaʿmāluhumfaḥabiṭatwaliqāihirabbihimbiāyātikafarūalladhīnaulāika
Those(are) the ones whodisbelievein the Verses(of) their Lordand the meeting (with) HimSo (are) vaintheir deedsso notWe will assignfor them(on) the Day(of) the Resurrectionany weight
18:105
ذَٰلِكَجَزَآؤُهُمْجَهَنَّمُبِمَاكَفَرُوا۟وَٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ءَايَـٰتِىوَرُسُلِىهُزُوًا
huzuwanwarusulīāyātīwa-ittakhadhūkafarūbimājahannamujazāuhumdhālika
That(is) their recompense Hell becausethey disbelievedand tookMy Versesand My Messengers(in) ridicule
18:106
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِكَانَتْلَهُمْجَنَّـٰتُٱلْفِرْدَوْسِنُزُلًا
nuzulanl-fir'dawsijannātulahumkānatl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whobelievedand didrighteous deedsfor them will befor them will beGardens(of) the Paradise(as) a lodging
18:107
خَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَالَايَبْغُونَعَنْهَاحِوَلًۭا
ḥiwalanʿanhāyabghūnafīhākhālidīna
Abiding foreverin itNotthey will desirefrom itany transfer
18:108
قُللَّوْكَانَٱلْبَحْرُمِدَادًۭالِّكَلِمَـٰتِرَبِّىلَنَفِدَٱلْبَحْرُقَبْلَأَنتَنفَدَكَلِمَـٰتُرَبِّىوَلَوْجِئْنَابِمِثْلِهِۦمَدَدًۭا
madadanbimith'lihiji'nāwalawrabbīkalimātutanfadaanqablal-baḥrulanafidarabbīlikalimātimidādanl-baḥrukānalawqul
SayIfwerethe seainkfor (the) Words(of) my Lordsurely (would be) exhaustedthe seabefore[that](were) exhausted(the) Words(of) my Lordeven ifWe brought(the) like (of) it(as) a supplement
18:109
قُلْإِنَّمَآأَنَا۠بَشَرٌۭمِّثْلُكُمْيُوحَىٰٓإِلَىَّأَنَّمَآإِلَـٰهُكُمْإِلَـٰهٌۭوَٰحِدٌۭ ۖفَمَنكَانَيَرْجُوا۟لِقَآءَرَبِّهِۦفَلْيَعْمَلْعَمَلًۭاصَـٰلِحًۭاوَلَايُشْرِكْبِعِبَادَةِرَبِّهِۦٓأَحَدًۢا
aḥadanrabbihibiʿibādatiyush'rikwalāṣāliḥanʿamalanfalyaʿmalrabbihiliqāayarjūkānafamanwāḥidunilāhunilāhukumannamāilayyayūḥāmith'lukumbasharunanāinnamāqul
SayOnlyI(am) a manlike youHas been revealedto methatyour God(is) GodOneSo whoeverishoping(for the) meeting(with) his Lordlet him dodeedsrighteousand notassociatein (the) worship(of) his Lordanyone
18:110
Basmala
كٓهيعٓصٓ
kaf-ha-ya-ain-sad
Kaaf Ha Ya Ain Sad
19:1
ذِكْرُرَحْمَتِرَبِّكَعَبْدَهُۥزَكَرِيَّآ
zakariyyāʿabdahurabbikaraḥmatidhik'ru
(A) mention(of the) Mercy(of) your Lord(to) His servantZakariya
19:2
إِذْنَادَىٰرَبَّهُۥنِدَآءًخَفِيًّۭا
khafiyyannidāanrabbahunādāidh
Whenhe called(to) his Lorda call secret
19:3
قَالَرَبِّإِنِّىوَهَنَٱلْعَظْمُمِنِّىوَٱشْتَعَلَٱلرَّأْسُشَيْبًۭاوَلَمْأَكُنۢبِدُعَآئِكَرَبِّشَقِيًّۭا
shaqiyyanrabbibiduʿāikaakunwalamshaybanl-rasuwa-ish'taʿalaminnīl-ʿaẓmuwahanainnīrabbiqāla
He saidMy LordIndeed, [I](have) weakenedmy bonesmy bonesand flared(my) head(with) whiteand notI have beenin (my) supplication (to) Youmy Lordunblessed
19:4
وَإِنِّىخِفْتُٱلْمَوَٰلِىَمِنوَرَآءِىوَكَانَتِٱمْرَأَتِىعَاقِرًۭافَهَبْلِىمِنلَّدُنكَوَلِيًّۭا
waliyyanladunkaminfahabʿāqiranim'ra-atīwakānatiwarāīminl-mawāliyakhif'tuwa-innī
And indeed, I[I] fearthe successorsafter meafter meand ismy wifebarrenSo give[to] mefromYourselfan heir
19:5
يَرِثُنِىوَيَرِثُمِنْءَالِيَعْقُوبَ ۖوَٱجْعَلْهُرَبِّرَضِيًّۭا
raḍiyyanrabbiwa-ij'ʿalhuyaʿqūbaāliminwayarithuyarithunī
Who will inherit meand inheritfrom(the) family(of) YaqubAnd make himmy Lordpleasing
19:6
يَـٰزَكَرِيَّآإِنَّانُبَشِّرُكَبِغُلَـٰمٍٱسْمُهُۥيَحْيَىٰلَمْنَجْعَللَّهُۥمِنقَبْلُسَمِيًّۭا
samiyyanqabluminlahunajʿallamyaḥyāus'muhubighulāminnubashirukainnāyāzakariyyā
O ZakariyaIndeed, We[We] give you glad tidingsof a boyhis name(will be) YahyanotWe (have) assigned[for] itbeforebefore(this) name
19:7
قَالَرَبِّأَنَّىٰيَكُونُلِىغُلَـٰمٌۭوَكَانَتِٱمْرَأَتِىعَاقِرًۭاوَقَدْبَلَغْتُمِنَٱلْكِبَرِعِتِيًّۭا
ʿitiyyanl-kibariminabalaghtuwaqadʿāqiranim'ra-atīwakānatighulāmunyakūnuannārabbiqāla
He saidMy LordHowcanI havea boywhile ismy wifebarrenand indeedI have reachedofthe old ageextreme
19:8
قَالَكَذَٰلِكَقَالَرَبُّكَهُوَعَلَىَّهَيِّنٌۭوَقَدْخَلَقْتُكَمِنقَبْلُوَلَمْتَكُشَيْـًۭٔا
shayantakuwalamqabluminkhalaqtukawaqadhayyinunʿalayyahuwarabbukaqālakadhālikaqāla
He saidThussaidyour Lord'It(is) easy for Me(is) easy for Meand certainlyI (have) created youbeforebeforewhile notyou wereanything.'
19:9
قَالَرَبِّٱجْعَللِّىٓءَايَةًۭ ۚقَالَءَايَتُكَأَلَّاتُكَلِّمَٱلنَّاسَثَلَـٰثَلَيَالٍۢسَوِيًّۭا
sawiyyanlayālinthalāthal-nāsatukallimaallāāyatukaqālaāyatanij'ʿalrabbiqāla
He saidMy LordMakefor mea signHe saidYour sign(is) that notyou will speak(to) the people(for) threenightssound
19:10
فَخَرَجَعَلَىٰقَوْمِهِۦمِنَٱلْمِحْرَابِفَأَوْحَىٰٓإِلَيْهِمْأَنسَبِّحُوا۟بُكْرَةًۭوَعَشِيًّۭا
waʿashiyyanbuk'ratansabbiḥūanilayhimfa-awḥāl-miḥ'rābiminaqawmihiʿalāfakharaja
Then he came outtohis peoplefromthe prayer chamberand he signaledto themtoglorify (Allah)(in) the morningand (in) the evening
19:11
يَـٰيَحْيَىٰخُذِٱلْكِتَـٰبَبِقُوَّةٍۢ ۖوَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُٱلْحُكْمَصَبِيًّۭا
ṣabiyyanl-ḥuk'mawaātaynāhubiquwwatinl-kitābakhudhiyāyaḥyā
O YahyaHoldthe Scripturewith strengthAnd We gave him[the] wisdom(when he was) a child
19:12
وَحَنَانًۭامِّنلَّدُنَّاوَزَكَوٰةًۭ ۖوَكَانَتَقِيًّۭا
taqiyyanwakānawazakatanladunnāminwaḥanānan
And affectionfromUsand purityand he wasrighteous
19:13
وَبَرًّۢابِوَٰلِدَيْهِوَلَمْيَكُنجَبَّارًاعَصِيًّۭا
ʿaṣiyyanjabbāranyakunwalambiwālidayhiwabarran
And dutifulto his parentsand nothe wasa tyrantdisobedient
19:14
وَسَلَـٰمٌعَلَيْهِيَوْمَوُلِدَوَيَوْمَيَمُوتُوَيَوْمَيُبْعَثُحَيًّۭا
ḥayyanyub'ʿathuwayawmayamūtuwayawmawulidayawmaʿalayhiwasalāmun
And peace beupon him(the) dayhe was bornand (the) dayhe diesand (the) dayhe will be raisedalive
19:15
وَٱذْكُرْفِىٱلْكِتَـٰبِمَرْيَمَإِذِٱنتَبَذَتْمِنْأَهْلِهَامَكَانًۭاشَرْقِيًّۭا
sharqiyyanmakānanahlihāminintabadhatidhimaryamal-kitābiwa-udh'kur
And mentioninthe BookMaryamwhenshe withdrewfromher family(to) a placeeastern
19:16
فَٱتَّخَذَتْمِندُونِهِمْحِجَابًۭافَأَرْسَلْنَآإِلَيْهَارُوحَنَافَتَمَثَّلَلَهَابَشَرًۭاسَوِيًّۭا
sawiyyanbasharanlahāfatamathalarūḥanāilayhāfa-arsalnāḥijābandūnihimminfa-ittakhadhat
Then she tookfrom themfrom thema screenThen We sentto herOur Spiritthen he assumed for her the likenessthen he assumed for her the likeness(of) a manwell-proportioned
19:17
قَالَتْإِنِّىٓأَعُوذُبِٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِمِنكَإِنكُنتَتَقِيًّۭا
taqiyyankuntainminkabil-raḥmāniaʿūdhuinnīqālat
She saidIndeed, I[I] seek refugewith the Most Graciousfrom youifyou areGod fearing
19:18
قَالَإِنَّمَآأَنَا۠رَسُولُرَبِّكِلِأَهَبَلَكِغُلَـٰمًۭازَكِيًّۭا
zakiyyanghulāmanlakili-ahabarabbikirasūluanāinnamāqāla
He saidOnlyI ama Messenger(from) your Lordthat I (may) bestowon youa sonpure
19:19
قَالَتْأَنَّىٰيَكُونُلِىغُلَـٰمٌۭوَلَمْيَمْسَسْنِىبَشَرٌۭوَلَمْأَكُبَغِيًّۭا
baghiyyanakuwalambasharunyamsasnīwalamghulāmunyakūnuannāqālat
She saidHowcan befor mea sonwhen nothas touched mea manand notI amunchaste
19:20
قَالَكَذَٰلِكِقَالَرَبُّكِهُوَعَلَىَّهَيِّنٌۭ ۖوَلِنَجْعَلَهُۥٓءَايَةًۭلِّلنَّاسِوَرَحْمَةًۭمِّنَّا ۚوَكَانَأَمْرًۭامَّقْضِيًّۭا
maqḍiyyanamranwakānaminnāwaraḥmatanlilnnāsiāyatanwalinajʿalahuhayyinunʿalayyahuwarabbukiqālakadhālikiqāla
He saidThussaidyour Lord'It(is) for Meeasyand so that We will make hima signfor the mankindand a Mercyfrom UsAnd (it) isa matterdecreed.'
19:21
۞ فَحَمَلَتْهُفَٱنتَبَذَتْبِهِۦمَكَانًۭاقَصِيًّۭا
qaṣiyyanmakānanbihifa-intabadhatfaḥamalathu
So she conceived himand she withdrewwith him(to) a placeremote
19:22
فَأَجَآءَهَاٱلْمَخَاضُإِلَىٰجِذْعِٱلنَّخْلَةِقَالَتْيَـٰلَيْتَنِىمِتُّقَبْلَهَـٰذَاوَكُنتُنَسْيًۭامَّنسِيًّۭا
mansiyyannasyanwakuntuhādhāqablamittuyālaytanīqālatl-nakhlatijidh'ʿiilāl-makhāḍufa-ajāahā
Then drove herthe pains of childbirthto(the) trunk(of) the date-palmShe saidO! I wishI (had) diedbeforethisand I was(in) oblivionforgotten
19:23
فَنَادَىٰهَامِنتَحْتِهَآأَلَّاتَحْزَنِىقَدْجَعَلَرَبُّكِتَحْتَكِسَرِيًّۭا
sariyyantaḥtakirabbukijaʿalaqadtaḥzanīallātaḥtihāminfanādāhā
So cried to herfrombeneath herThat (do) notgrieveverily(has) placedyour Lordbeneath youa stream
19:24
وَهُزِّىٓإِلَيْكِبِجِذْعِٱلنَّخْلَةِتُسَـٰقِطْعَلَيْكِرُطَبًۭاجَنِيًّۭا
janiyyanruṭabanʿalaykitusāqiṭl-nakhlatibijidh'ʿiilaykiwahuzzī
And shaketowards you(the) trunk(of) the date-palmit will dropupon youfresh datesripe
19:25
فَكُلِىوَٱشْرَبِىوَقَرِّىعَيْنًۭا ۖفَإِمَّاتَرَيِنَّمِنَٱلْبَشَرِأَحَدًۭافَقُولِىٓإِنِّىنَذَرْتُلِلرَّحْمَـٰنِصَوْمًۭافَلَنْأُكَلِّمَٱلْيَوْمَإِنسِيًّۭا
insiyyanl-yawmaukallimafalanṣawmanlilrraḥmāninadhartuinnīfaqūlīaḥadanl-bashariminatarayinnafa-immāʿaynanwaqarrīwa-ish'rabīfakulī
So eatand drinkand cool(your) eyesAnd ifyou seefromhuman beinganyonethen sayIndeed, I[I] have vowedto the Most Graciousa fastso notI will speaktoday(to any) human being
19:26
فَأَتَتْبِهِۦقَوْمَهَاتَحْمِلُهُۥ ۖقَالُوا۟يَـٰمَرْيَمُلَقَدْجِئْتِشَيْـًۭٔافَرِيًّۭا
fariyyanshayanji'tilaqadyāmaryamuqālūtaḥmiluhuqawmahābihifa-atat
Then she camewith him(to) her peoplecarrying himThey saidO MaryamCertainlyyou (have) broughtan amazing thingan amazing thing
19:27
يَـٰٓأُخْتَهَـٰرُونَمَاكَانَأَبُوكِٱمْرَأَسَوْءٍۢوَمَاكَانَتْأُمُّكِبَغِيًّۭا
baghiyyanummukikānatwamāsawinim'ra-aabūkikānahārūnayāukh'ta
O sister(of) HarunNotwasyour fatheran evil manan evil manand notwasyour motherunchaste
19:28
فَأَشَارَتْإِلَيْهِ ۖقَالُوا۟كَيْفَنُكَلِّمُمَنكَانَفِىٱلْمَهْدِصَبِيًّۭا
ṣabiyyanl-mahdikānamannukallimukayfaqālūilayhifa-ashārat
Then she pointedto himThey saidHow(can) we speak(to one) whoisinthe cradlea child
19:29
قَالَإِنِّىعَبْدُٱللَّهِءَاتَىٰنِىَٱلْكِتَـٰبَوَجَعَلَنِىنَبِيًّۭا
nabiyyanwajaʿalanīl-kitābaātāniyal-lahiʿabduinnīqāla
He saidIndeed, I ama slave(of) AllahHe gave methe Scriptureand made mea Prophet
19:30
وَجَعَلَنِىمُبَارَكًاأَيْنَمَاكُنتُوَأَوْصَـٰنِىبِٱلصَّلَوٰةِوَٱلزَّكَوٰةِمَادُمْتُحَيًّۭا
ḥayyandum'tuwal-zakatibil-ṣalatiwa-awṣānīkuntuaynamubārakanwajaʿalanī
And He (has) made meblessedwhereverwhereverI amand has enjoined (on) me[of] the prayerand zakahas long as I amas long as I amalive
19:31
وَبَرًّۢابِوَٰلِدَتِىوَلَمْيَجْعَلْنِىجَبَّارًۭاشَقِيًّۭا
shaqiyyanjabbāranyajʿalnīwalambiwālidatīwabarran
And dutifulto my motherand notHe (has) made meinsolentunblessed
19:32
وَٱلسَّلَـٰمُعَلَىَّيَوْمَوُلِدتُّوَيَوْمَأَمُوتُوَيَوْمَأُبْعَثُحَيًّۭا
ḥayyanub'ʿathuwayawmaamūtuwayawmawulidttuyawmaʿalayyawal-salāmu
And peace (be)on me(the) dayI was bornand (the) dayI will dieand (the) DayI will be raisedalive
19:33
ذَٰلِكَعِيسَىٱبْنُمَرْيَمَ ۚقَوْلَٱلْحَقِّٱلَّذِىفِيهِيَمْتَرُونَ
yamtarūnafīhialladhīl-ḥaqiqawlamaryamaub'nuʿīsādhālika
That(was) Isa(the) son(of) Maryama statement(of) truththat whichabout itthey dispute
19:34
مَاكَانَلِلَّهِأَنيَتَّخِذَمِنوَلَدٍۢ ۖسُبْحَـٰنَهُۥٓ ۚإِذَاقَضَىٰٓأَمْرًۭافَإِنَّمَايَقُولُلَهُۥكُنفَيَكُونُ
fayakūnukunlahuyaqūlufa-innamāamranqaḍāidhāsub'ḥānahuwaladinminyattakhidhaanlillahikāna
Not(it) isfor AllahthatHe should takeany sonany sonGlory be to HimWhenHe decreesa matterthen onlyHe saysto itBeand it is
19:35
وَإِنَّٱللَّهَرَبِّىوَرَبُّكُمْفَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚهَـٰذَاصِرَٰطٌۭمُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ
mus'taqīmunṣirāṭunhādhāfa-uʿ'budūhuwarabbukumrabbīl-lahawa-inna
And indeedAllah(is) my Lordand your Lordso worship HimThis(is) a pathstraight
19:36
فَٱخْتَلَفَٱلْأَحْزَابُمِنۢبَيْنِهِمْ ۖفَوَيْلٌۭلِّلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟مِنمَّشْهَدِيَوْمٍعَظِيمٍ
ʿaẓīminyawminmashhadiminkafarūlilladhīnafawaylunbaynihimminl-aḥzābufa-ikh'talafa
But differedthe sectsfrom among themfrom among themso woeto those whodisbelievefrom(the) witnessing(of) a Daygreat
19:37
أَسْمِعْبِهِمْوَأَبْصِرْيَوْمَيَأْتُونَنَا ۖلَـٰكِنِٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَٱلْيَوْمَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninḍalālinl-yawmal-ẓālimūnalākiniyatūnanāyawmawa-abṣirbihimasmiʿ
How they will hearHow they will hearand how (they will) see(the) Daythey will come to Usbutthe wrongdoerstoday(are) inerrorclear
19:38
وَأَنذِرْهُمْيَوْمَٱلْحَسْرَةِإِذْقُضِىَٱلْأَمْرُوَهُمْفِىغَفْلَةٍۢوَهُمْلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnawahumghaflatinwahuml-amruquḍiyaidhl-ḥasratiyawmawa-andhir'hum
And warn them(of the) Day(of) the Regretwhenhas been decidedthe matterAnd they(are) inheedlessnessand they(do) notbelieve
19:39
إِنَّانَحْنُنَرِثُٱلْأَرْضَوَمَنْعَلَيْهَاوَإِلَيْنَايُرْجَعُونَ
yur'jaʿūnawa-ilaynāʿalayhāwamanl-arḍanarithunaḥnuinnā
Indeed, We[We][We] will inheritthe earthand whoever(is) on itand to Usthey will be returned
19:40
وَٱذْكُرْفِىٱلْكِتَـٰبِإِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۚإِنَّهُۥكَانَصِدِّيقًۭانَّبِيًّا
nabiyyanṣiddīqankānainnahuib'rāhīmal-kitābiwa-udh'kur
And mentioninthe BookIbrahimIndeed, hewasa man of trutha Prophet
19:41
إِذْقَالَلِأَبِيهِيَـٰٓأَبَتِلِمَتَعْبُدُمَالَايَسْمَعُوَلَايُبْصِرُوَلَايُغْنِىعَنكَشَيْـًۭٔا
shayanʿankayugh'nīwalāyub'ṣiruwalāyasmaʿutaʿbudulimayāabatili-abīhiqālaidh
Whenhe saidto his fatherO my fatherWhy(do) you worshipthat whichnothearsand notseesand notbenefits[to] you(in) anything
19:42
يَـٰٓأَبَتِإِنِّىقَدْجَآءَنِىمِنَٱلْعِلْمِمَالَمْيَأْتِكَفَٱتَّبِعْنِىٓأَهْدِكَصِرَٰطًۭاسَوِيًّۭا
sawiyyanṣirāṭanahdikafa-ittabiʿ'nīyatikalaml-ʿil'miminajāanīqadinnīyāabati
O my fatherIndeed, [I]verily(has) come to meofthe knowledgewhatnotcame to youso follow meI will guide you(to) the patheven
19:43
يَـٰٓأَبَتِلَاتَعْبُدِٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ ۖإِنَّٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَكَانَلِلرَّحْمَـٰنِعَصِيًّۭا
ʿaṣiyyanlilrraḥmānikānal-shayṭānainnal-shayṭānataʿbudiyāabati
O my father(Do) notworshipthe ShaitaanIndeedthe Shaitaanisto the Most Graciousdisobedient
19:44
يَـٰٓأَبَتِإِنِّىٓأَخَافُأَنيَمَسَّكَعَذَابٌۭمِّنَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِفَتَكُونَلِلشَّيْطَـٰنِوَلِيًّۭا
waliyyanlilshayṭānifatakūnal-raḥmāniminaʿadhābunyamassakaanakhāfuinnīyāabati
O my fatherIndeed, I[I] fearthatwill touch youa punishmentfromthe Most Graciousso you would beto the Shaitaana friend
19:45
قَالَأَرَاغِبٌأَنتَعَنْءَالِهَتِىيَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ ۖلَئِنلَّمْتَنتَهِلَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ ۖوَٱهْجُرْنِىمَلِيًّۭا
maliyyanwa-uh'jur'nīla-arjumannakatantahilamla-inyāib'rāhīmuālihatīʿanantaarāghibunqāla
He saidDo you hateDo you hate(from)my godsO IbrahimSurely, ifnotyou desistsurely, I will stone youso leave me(for) a prolonged time
19:46
قَالَسَلَـٰمٌعَلَيْكَ ۖسَأَسْتَغْفِرُلَكَرَبِّىٓ ۖإِنَّهُۥكَانَبِىحَفِيًّۭا
ḥafiyyankānainnahurabbīlakasa-astaghfiruʿalaykasalāmunqāla
He saidPeace (be)on youI will ask forgivenessfor you(from) my LordIndeed, Heisto meEver Gracious
19:47
وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْوَمَاتَدْعُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِوَأَدْعُوا۟رَبِّىعَسَىٰٓأَلَّآأَكُونَبِدُعَآءِرَبِّىشَقِيًّۭا
shaqiyyanrabbībiduʿāiakūnaallāʿasārabbīwa-adʿūl-lahidūnimintadʿūnawamāwa-aʿtazilukum
And I will leave youand whatyou invokebesidesbesidesAllahand I will invokemy LordMay bethat notI will bein invocation(to) my Lordunblessed
19:48
فَلَمَّاٱعْتَزَلَهُمْوَمَايَعْبُدُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِوَهَبْنَالَهُۥٓإِسْحَـٰقَوَيَعْقُوبَ ۖوَكُلًّۭاجَعَلْنَانَبِيًّۭا
nabiyyanjaʿalnāwakullanwayaʿqūbais'ḥāqalahuwahabnāl-lahidūniminyaʿbudūnawamāiʿ'tazalahumfalammā
So whenhe left themand whatthey worshippedbesides Allahbesides Allahbesides Allah[and] We bestowed[to] himIsaacand Yaquband each (of them)We madea Prophet
19:49
وَوَهَبْنَالَهُممِّنرَّحْمَتِنَاوَجَعَلْنَالَهُمْلِسَانَصِدْقٍعَلِيًّۭا
ʿaliyyanṣid'qinlisānalahumwajaʿalnāraḥmatināminlahumwawahabnā
And We bestowedto themofOur Mercyand We madefor thema truthful mentiona truthful mentionhigh
19:50
وَٱذْكُرْفِىٱلْكِتَـٰبِمُوسَىٰٓ ۚإِنَّهُۥكَانَمُخْلَصًۭاوَكَانَرَسُولًۭانَّبِيًّۭا
nabiyyanrasūlanwakānamukh'laṣankānainnahumūsāl-kitābiwa-udh'kur
And mentioninthe BookMusaIndeed, hewaschosenand wasa Messengera Prophet
19:51
وَنَـٰدَيْنَـٰهُمِنجَانِبِٱلطُّورِٱلْأَيْمَنِوَقَرَّبْنَـٰهُنَجِيًّۭا
najiyyanwaqarrabnāhul-aymanil-ṭūrijānibiminwanādaynāhu
And We called himfrom(the) side(of) the Mountthe rightand brought him near(for) conversation
19:52
وَوَهَبْنَالَهُۥمِنرَّحْمَتِنَآأَخَاهُهَـٰرُونَنَبِيًّۭا
nabiyyanhārūnaakhāhuraḥmatināminlahuwawahabnā
And We bestowed[to] himfromOur Mercyhis brotherHaruna Prophet
19:53
وَٱذْكُرْفِىٱلْكِتَـٰبِإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ ۚإِنَّهُۥكَانَصَادِقَٱلْوَعْدِوَكَانَرَسُولًۭانَّبِيًّۭا
nabiyyanrasūlanwakānal-waʿdiṣādiqakānainnahuis'māʿīlal-kitābiwa-udh'kur
And mentioninthe BookIshmaelIndeed, hewastrue(to his) promiseand wasa Messenger a Prophet
19:54
وَكَانَيَأْمُرُأَهْلَهُۥبِٱلصَّلَوٰةِوَٱلزَّكَوٰةِوَكَانَعِندَرَبِّهِۦمَرْضِيًّۭا
marḍiyyanrabbihiʿindawakānawal-zakatibil-ṣalatiahlahuyamuruwakāna
And he used(to) enjoin(on) his peoplethe prayerand zakahand wasnearhis Lordpleasing
19:55
وَٱذْكُرْفِىٱلْكِتَـٰبِإِدْرِيسَ ۚإِنَّهُۥكَانَصِدِّيقًۭانَّبِيًّۭا
nabiyyanṣiddīqankānainnahuid'rīsal-kitābiwa-udh'kur
And mentioninthe BookIdrisIndeed, hewastruthfula Prophet
19:56
وَرَفَعْنَـٰهُمَكَانًاعَلِيًّا
ʿaliyyanmakānanwarafaʿnāhu
And We raised him(to) a positionhigh
19:57
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَأَنْعَمَٱللَّهُعَلَيْهِممِّنَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَمِنذُرِّيَّةِءَادَمَوَمِمَّنْحَمَلْنَامَعَنُوحٍۢوَمِنذُرِّيَّةِإِبْرَٰهِيمَوَإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَوَمِمَّنْهَدَيْنَاوَٱجْتَبَيْنَآ ۚإِذَاتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِمْءَايَـٰتُٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِخَرُّوا۟سُجَّدًۭاوَبُكِيًّۭا ۩
wabukiyyansujjadankharrūl-raḥmāniāyātuʿalayhimtut'lāidhāwa-ij'tabaynāhadaynāwamimmanwa-is'rāīlaib'rāhīmadhurriyyatiwaminnūḥinmaʿaḥamalnāwamimmanādamadhurriyyatiminl-nabiyīnaminaʿalayhiml-lahuanʿamaalladhīnaulāika
Those(were) the ones whomAllah bestowed favorAllah bestowed favorupon themfrom (among)the Prophetsof(the) offspring(of) Adamand of thoseWe carriedwithNuhand of(the) offspring(of) Ibrahimand Israeland of (those) whomWe guidedand We choseWhenwere recitedto them(the) Verses(of) the Most Graciousthey fellprostratingand weeping
19:58
۞ فَخَلَفَمِنۢبَعْدِهِمْخَلْفٌأَضَاعُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ ۖفَسَوْفَيَلْقَوْنَغَيًّا
ghayyanyalqawnafasawfal-shahawātiwa-ittabaʿūl-ṣalataaḍāʿūkhalfunbaʿdihimminfakhalafa
Then succeededafter themafter themsuccessorswho neglectedthe prayerand they followedthe lustsso soonthey will meetevil
19:59
إِلَّامَنتَابَوَءَامَنَوَعَمِلَصَـٰلِحًۭافَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَيَدْخُلُونَٱلْجَنَّةَوَلَايُظْلَمُونَشَيْـًۭٔا
shayanyuẓ'lamūnawalāl-janatayadkhulūnafa-ulāikaṣāliḥanwaʿamilawaāmanatābamanillā
Except(one) whorepentedand believedand didgood (deeds)Then thosewill enterParadiseand notthey will be wronged(in) anything
19:60
جَنَّـٰتِعَدْنٍٱلَّتِىوَعَدَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُعِبَادَهُۥبِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚإِنَّهُۥكَانَوَعْدُهُۥمَأْتِيًّۭا
matiyyanwaʿduhukānainnahubil-ghaybiʿibādahul-raḥmānuwaʿadaallatīʿadninjannāti
Gardens(of) Edenwhichpromisedthe Most Gracious(to) His slavesin the unseenIndeed, [it]isHis promisesure to come
19:61
لَّايَسْمَعُونَفِيهَالَغْوًاإِلَّاسَلَـٰمًۭا ۖوَلَهُمْرِزْقُهُمْفِيهَابُكْرَةًۭوَعَشِيًّۭا
waʿashiyyanbuk'ratanfīhāriz'quhumwalahumsalāmanillālaghwanfīhāyasmaʿūna
Notthey will hearthereinvain talkbutpeaceAnd for them(is) their provisionthereinmorningand evening
19:62
تِلْكَٱلْجَنَّةُٱلَّتِىنُورِثُمِنْعِبَادِنَامَنكَانَتَقِيًّۭا
taqiyyankānamanʿibādināminnūrithuallatīl-janatutil'ka
This(is) ParadisewhichWe give (as) inheritance[of] (to)Our slaves(the one) whoisrighteous
19:63
وَمَانَتَنَزَّلُإِلَّابِأَمْرِرَبِّكَ ۖلَهُۥمَابَيْنَأَيْدِينَاوَمَاخَلْفَنَاوَمَابَيْنَذَٰلِكَ ۚوَمَاكَانَرَبُّكَنَسِيًّۭا
nasiyyanrabbukakānawamādhālikabaynawamākhalfanāwamāaydīnābaynalahurabbikabi-amriillānatanazzaluwamā
And notwe descendexceptby (the) Command(of) your LordTo Him (belongs)what(is) before us(is) before usand what(is) behind usand what(is) betweenthatAnd notisyour Lordforgetful
19:64
رَّبُّٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِوَمَابَيْنَهُمَافَٱعْبُدْهُوَٱصْطَبِرْلِعِبَـٰدَتِهِۦ ۚهَلْتَعْلَمُلَهُۥسَمِيًّۭا
samiyyanlahutaʿlamuhalliʿibādatihiwa-iṣ'ṭabirfa-uʿ'bud'hubaynahumāwamāwal-arḍil-samāwātirabbu
Lord(of) the heavensand the earthand whatever(is) between both of themso worship Himand be constantin His worshipDoyou knowfor Himany similarity
19:65
وَيَقُولُٱلْإِنسَـٰنُأَءِذَامَامِتُّلَسَوْفَأُخْرَجُحَيًّا
ḥayyanukh'rajulasawfamittua-idhāl-insānuwayaqūlu
And says[the] manWhat! WhenWhat! WhenI am deadsurely willI be brought forthalive
19:66
أَوَلَايَذْكُرُٱلْإِنسَـٰنُأَنَّاخَلَقْنَـٰهُمِنقَبْلُوَلَمْيَكُشَيْـًۭٔا
shayanyakuwalamqabluminkhalaqnāhuannāl-insānuyadhkuruawalā
Does notremember[the] manthat WeWe created himbeforebeforewhile nothe wasanything
19:67
فَوَرَبِّكَلَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْوَٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَثُمَّلَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْحَوْلَجَهَنَّمَجِثِيًّۭا
jithiyyanjahannamaḥawlalanuḥ'ḍirannahumthummawal-shayāṭīnalanaḥshurannahumfawarabbika
So by your Lordsurely, We will gather themand the devilsthensurely, We will bring themaroundHellbent (on) knees
19:68
ثُمَّلَنَنزِعَنَّمِنكُلِّشِيعَةٍأَيُّهُمْأَشَدُّعَلَىٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِعِتِيًّۭا
ʿitiyyanl-raḥmāniʿalāashadduayyuhumshīʿatinkulliminlananziʿannathumma
Thensurely, We will drag outfromeverysectthose of them(who were) worstagainstthe Most Gracious(in) rebellion
19:69
ثُمَّلَنَحْنُأَعْلَمُبِٱلَّذِينَهُمْأَوْلَىٰبِهَاصِلِيًّۭا
ṣiliyyanbihāawlāhumbi-alladhīnaaʿlamulanaḥnuthumma
Thensurely, Weknow best[of] those who[they](are) most worthytherein(of) being burnt
19:70
وَإِنمِّنكُمْإِلَّاوَارِدُهَا ۚكَانَعَلَىٰرَبِّكَحَتْمًۭامَّقْضِيًّۭا
maqḍiyyanḥatmanrabbikaʿalākānawāriduhāillāminkumwa-in
And (there is) not(any) of youbut(will be) passing over it(This) isuponyour Lordan inevitabilitydecreed
19:71
ثُمَّنُنَجِّىٱلَّذِينَٱتَّقَوا۟وَّنَذَرُٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَفِيهَاجِثِيًّۭا
jithiyyanfīhāl-ẓālimīnawanadharuittaqawalladhīnanunajjīthumma
ThenWe will deliverthose whofeared (Allah)and We will leavethe wrongdoersthereinbent (on) knees
19:72
وَإِذَاتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِمْءَايَـٰتُنَابَيِّنَـٰتٍۢقَالَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لِلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟أَىُّٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِخَيْرٌۭمَّقَامًۭاوَأَحْسَنُنَدِيًّۭا
nadiyyanwa-aḥsanumaqāmankhayrunl-farīqayniayyuāmanūlilladhīnakafarūalladhīnaqālabayyinātināyātunāʿalayhimtut'lāwa-idhā
And whenare recitedto themOur Versesclearsaythose whodisbelievedto those whobelievedWhich(of) the two groups(is) better(in) positionand best(in) assembly
19:73
وَكَمْأَهْلَكْنَاقَبْلَهُممِّنقَرْنٍهُمْأَحْسَنُأَثَـٰثًۭاوَرِءْيًۭا
wari'yanathāthanaḥsanuhumqarninminqablahumahlaknāwakam
And how manyWe destroyedbefore themofa generation they(were) better(in) possessionsand appearance
19:74
قُلْمَنكَانَفِىٱلضَّلَـٰلَةِفَلْيَمْدُدْلَهُٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُمَدًّا ۚحَتَّىٰٓإِذَارَأَوْا۟مَايُوعَدُونَإِمَّاٱلْعَذَابَوَإِمَّاٱلسَّاعَةَفَسَيَعْلَمُونَمَنْهُوَشَرٌّۭمَّكَانًۭاوَأَضْعَفُجُندًۭا
jundanwa-aḍʿafumakānansharrunhuwamanfasayaʿlamūnal-sāʿatawa-immāl-ʿadhābaimmāyūʿadūnara-awidhāḥattāmaddanl-raḥmānulahufalyamdudl-ḍalālatikānamanqul
SayWhoeverisin[the] errorthen surely will extendfor himthe Most Graciousan extensionuntilwhenthey seewhatthey were promisedeitherthe punishmentorthe Hourthen they will knowwho[he](is) worst(in) positionand weaker(in) forces
19:75
وَيَزِيدُٱللَّهُٱلَّذِينَٱهْتَدَوْا۟هُدًۭى ۗوَٱلْبَـٰقِيَـٰتُٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتُخَيْرٌعِندَرَبِّكَثَوَابًۭاوَخَيْرٌۭمَّرَدًّا
maraddanwakhayrunthawābanrabbikaʿindakhayrunl-ṣāliḥātuwal-bāqiyātuhudanih'tadawalladhīnal-lahuwayazīdu
And Allah increasesAnd Allah increasesthose whoaccept guidance(in) guidanceAnd the everlastinggood deeds(are) betternearyour Lord(for) rewardand better(for) return
19:76
أَفَرَءَيْتَٱلَّذِىكَفَرَبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاوَقَالَلَأُوتَيَنَّمَالًۭاوَوَلَدًا
wawaladanmālanlaūtayannawaqālabiāyātinākafaraalladhīafara-ayta
Then, have you seenhe whodisbelievedin Our Versesand saidSurely, I will be givenwealthand children
19:77
أَطَّلَعَٱلْغَيْبَأَمِٱتَّخَذَعِندَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِعَهْدًۭا
ʿahdanl-raḥmāniʿindaittakhadhaamil-ghaybaaṭṭalaʿa
Has he looked(into) the unseenorhas he takenfromthe Most Graciousa promise
19:78
كَلَّا ۚسَنَكْتُبُمَايَقُولُوَنَمُدُّلَهُۥمِنَٱلْعَذَابِمَدًّۭا
maddanl-ʿadhābiminalahuwanamudduyaqūlusanaktubukallā
NayWe will recordwhathe saysand We will extendfor himfromthe punishmentextensively
19:79
وَنَرِثُهُۥمَايَقُولُوَيَأْتِينَافَرْدًۭا
fardanwayatīnāyaqūluwanarithuhu
And We will inherit (from) himwhathe saysand he will come to Usalone
19:80
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟مِندُونِٱللَّهِءَالِهَةًۭلِّيَكُونُوا۟لَهُمْعِزًّۭا
ʿizzanlahumliyakūnūālihatanl-lahidūniminwa-ittakhadhū
And they have takenbesides Allahbesides Allahbesides Allahgodsthat they may befor theman honor
19:81
كَلَّا ۚسَيَكْفُرُونَبِعِبَادَتِهِمْوَيَكُونُونَعَلَيْهِمْضِدًّا
ḍiddanʿalayhimwayakūnūnabiʿibādatihimsayakfurūnakallā
Naythey will denytheir worship (of them)and they will beagainst themopponents
19:82
أَلَمْتَرَأَنَّآأَرْسَلْنَاٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَعَلَىٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَتَؤُزُّهُمْأَزًّۭا
azzanta-uzzuhuml-kāfirīnaʿalāl-shayāṭīnaarsalnāannātaraalam
Do notyou seethat We[We] have sentthe devilsuponthe disbelieversinciting them(with) incitement
19:83
فَلَاتَعْجَلْعَلَيْهِمْ ۖإِنَّمَانَعُدُّلَهُمْعَدًّۭا
ʿaddanlahumnaʿudduinnamāʿalayhimtaʿjalfalā
So (do) notmake hasteagainst themOnlyWe countfor thema number
19:84
يَوْمَنَحْشُرُٱلْمُتَّقِينَإِلَىٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِوَفْدًۭا
wafdanl-raḥmāniilāl-mutaqīnanaḥshuruyawma
(The) DayWe will gatherthe righteoustothe Most Gracious(as) a delegation
19:85
وَنَسُوقُٱلْمُجْرِمِينَإِلَىٰجَهَنَّمَوِرْدًۭا
wir'danjahannamailāl-muj'rimīnawanasūqu
And We will drivethe criminalstoHellthirsty
19:86
لَّايَمْلِكُونَٱلشَّفَـٰعَةَإِلَّامَنِٱتَّخَذَعِندَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِعَهْدًۭا
ʿahdanl-raḥmāniʿindaittakhadhamaniillāl-shafāʿatayamlikūna
Notthey will have the power(of) the intercessionexcept(he) whohas takenfromthe Most Graciousa covenant
19:87
وَقَالُوا۟ٱتَّخَذَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُوَلَدًۭا
waladanl-raḥmānuittakhadhawaqālū
And they sayHas takenthe Most Graciousa son
19:88
لَّقَدْجِئْتُمْشَيْـًٔاإِدًّۭا
iddanshayanji'tumlaqad
Verilyyou have put fortha thingatrocious
19:89
تَكَادُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُيَتَفَطَّرْنَمِنْهُوَتَنشَقُّٱلْأَرْضُوَتَخِرُّٱلْجِبَالُهَدًّا
haddanl-jibāluwatakhirrul-arḍuwatanshaqqumin'huyatafaṭṭarnal-samāwātutakādu
Almostthe heavensget torntherefromand splits asunderthe earthand collapsethe mountain(in) devastation
19:90
أَندَعَوْا۟لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِوَلَدًۭا
waladanlilrraḥmānidaʿawan
Thatthey invoketo the Most Graciousa son
19:91
وَمَايَنۢبَغِىلِلرَّحْمَـٰنِأَنيَتَّخِذَوَلَدًا
waladanyattakhidhaanlilrraḥmāniyanbaghīwamā
And notis appropriatefor the Most GraciousthatHe should takea son
19:92
إِنكُلُّمَنفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِإِلَّآءَاتِىٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِعَبْدًۭا
ʿabdanl-raḥmāniātīillāwal-arḍil-samāwātimankulluin
Notallwho(are) inthe heavensand the earthbut(will) come(to) the Most Gracious(as) a slave
19:93
لَّقَدْأَحْصَىٰهُمْوَعَدَّهُمْعَدًّۭا
ʿaddanwaʿaddahumaḥṣāhumlaqad
VerilyHe has enumerated themand counted thema counting
19:94
وَكُلُّهُمْءَاتِيهِيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِفَرْدًا
fardanl-qiyāmatiyawmaātīhiwakulluhum
And all of them(will) come (to) Him(on the) Day(of) the Resurrectionalone
19:95
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِسَيَجْعَلُلَهُمُٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُوُدًّۭا
wuddanl-raḥmānulahumusayajʿalul-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whobelievedand didgood deedswill bestowfor themthe Most Graciousaffection
19:96
فَإِنَّمَايَسَّرْنَـٰهُبِلِسَانِكَلِتُبَشِّرَبِهِٱلْمُتَّقِينَوَتُنذِرَبِهِۦقَوْمًۭالُّدًّۭا
luddanqawmanbihiwatundhiral-mutaqīnabihilitubashirabilisānikayassarnāhufa-innamā
So, onlyWe (have) made it easyin your tonguethat you may give glad tidingswith it(to) the righteousand warnwith ita peoplehostile
19:97
وَكَمْأَهْلَكْنَاقَبْلَهُممِّنقَرْنٍهَلْتُحِسُّمِنْهُممِّنْأَحَدٍأَوْتَسْمَعُلَهُمْرِكْزًۢا
rik'zanlahumtasmaʿuawaḥadinminmin'humtuḥissuhalqarninminqablahumahlaknāwakam
And how manyWe (have) destroyedbefore themofa generationCanyou perceiveof themanyoneorhearfrom thema sound
19:98

Ta Ha
20:1
مَآأَنزَلْنَاعَلَيْكَٱلْقُرْءَانَلِتَشْقَىٰٓ
litashqāl-qur'ānaʿalaykaanzalnā
NotWe (have) sent downto youthe Quranthat you be distressed
20:2
إِلَّاتَذْكِرَةًۭلِّمَنيَخْشَىٰ
yakhshālimantadhkiratanillā
(But)(as) a reminderfor (those) whofear
20:3
تَنزِيلًۭامِّمَّنْخَلَقَٱلْأَرْضَوَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِٱلْعُلَى
l-ʿulāwal-samāwātil-arḍakhalaqamimmantanzīlan
A revelationfrom (He) Whocreatedthe earthand the heavens[the] high
20:4
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُعَلَىٱلْعَرْشِٱسْتَوَىٰ
is'tawāl-ʿarshiʿalāal-raḥmānu
The Most Graciousoverthe Throneis established
20:5
لَهُۥمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِوَمَابَيْنَهُمَاوَمَاتَحْتَٱلثَّرَىٰ
l-tharātaḥtawamābaynahumāwamāl-arḍiwamāl-samāwātilahu
To Him (belongs)whatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earthand whatever(is) between themand whatever(is) underthe soil
20:6
وَإِنتَجْهَرْبِٱلْقَوْلِفَإِنَّهُۥيَعْلَمُٱلسِّرَّوَأَخْفَى
wa-akhfāl-sirayaʿlamufa-innahubil-qawlitajharwa-in
And ifyou speak aloudthe wordthen indeed, Heknowsthe secretand the more hidden
20:7
ٱللَّهُلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَ ۖلَهُٱلْأَسْمَآءُٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
l-ḥus'nāl-asmāulahuhuwaillāilāhaal-lahu
Allah (there is) nogodexceptHimTo Him (belong)the Namesthe Most Beautiful
20:8
وَهَلْأَتَىٰكَحَدِيثُمُوسَىٰٓ
mūsāḥadīthuatākawahal
And hascome to youthe narration(of) Musa
20:9
إِذْرَءَانَارًۭافَقَالَلِأَهْلِهِٱمْكُثُوٓا۟إِنِّىٓءَانَسْتُنَارًۭالَّعَلِّىٓءَاتِيكُممِّنْهَابِقَبَسٍأَوْأَجِدُعَلَىٱلنَّارِهُدًۭى
hudanl-nāriʿalāajiduawbiqabasinmin'hāātīkumlaʿallīnāranānastuinnīum'kuthūli-ahlihifaqālanāranraāidh
Whenhe sawa firethen he saidto his familyStay hereindeed, I[I] perceiveda fireperhaps I (can)bring youtherefroma burning brandorI findatthe fireguidance
20:10
فَلَمَّآأَتَىٰهَانُودِىَيَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ
yāmūsānūdiyaatāhāfalammā
Then whenhe came to ithe was calledO Musa
20:11
إِنِّىٓأَنَا۠رَبُّكَفَٱخْلَعْنَعْلَيْكَ ۖإِنَّكَبِٱلْوَادِٱلْمُقَدَّسِطُوًۭى
ṭuwanl-muqadasibil-wādiinnakanaʿlaykafa-ikh'laʿrabbukaanāinnī
Indeed, [I]I Amyour Lordso removeyour shoesIndeed, you(are) in the valleythe sacred(of) Tuwa
20:12
وَأَنَاٱخْتَرْتُكَفَٱسْتَمِعْلِمَايُوحَىٰٓ
yūḥālimāfa-is'tamiʿikh'tartukawa-anā
And I(have) chosen youso listento whatis revealed
20:13
إِنَّنِىٓأَنَاٱللَّهُلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّآأَنَا۠فَٱعْبُدْنِىوَأَقِمِٱلصَّلَوٰةَلِذِكْرِىٓ
lidhik'rīl-ṣalatawa-aqimifa-uʿ'bud'nīanāillāilāhal-lahuanāinnanī
Indeed, [I]I AmAllah(There is) nogodbutIso worship Meand establishthe prayerfor My remembrance
20:14
إِنَّٱلسَّاعَةَءَاتِيَةٌأَكَادُأُخْفِيهَالِتُجْزَىٰكُلُّنَفْسٍۭبِمَاتَسْعَىٰ
tasʿābimānafsinkullulituj'zāukh'fīhāakāduātiyatunl-sāʿatainna
Indeedthe Hour(will be) comingI almost[I] hide itthat may be recompensedeverysoulfor whatit strives
20:15
فَلَايَصُدَّنَّكَعَنْهَامَنلَّايُؤْمِنُبِهَاوَٱتَّبَعَهَوَىٰهُفَتَرْدَىٰ
fatardāhawāhuwa-ittabaʿabihāyu'minumanʿanhāyaṣuddannakafalā
So (do) not(let) avert youfrom it(one) who(does) notbelievein itand followshis desireslest you perish
20:16
وَمَاتِلْكَبِيَمِينِكَيَـٰمُوسَىٰ
yāmūsābiyamīnikatil'kawamā
And what(is) thatin your right handO Musa
20:17
قَالَهِىَعَصَاىَأَتَوَكَّؤُا۟عَلَيْهَاوَأَهُشُّبِهَاعَلَىٰغَنَمِىوَلِىَفِيهَامَـَٔارِبُأُخْرَىٰ
ukh'rāmaāribufīhāwaliyaghanamīʿalābihāwa-ahushuʿalayhāatawakka-uʿaṣāyahiyaqāla
He saidIt(is) my staffI leanupon itand I bring down leaveswith itformy sheepand for mein it(are) usesother
20:18
قَالَأَلْقِهَايَـٰمُوسَىٰ
yāmūsāalqihāqāla
He saidThrow it downO Musa
20:19
فَأَلْقَىٰهَافَإِذَاهِىَحَيَّةٌۭتَسْعَىٰ
tasʿāḥayyatunhiyafa-idhāfa-alqāhā
So he threw it downand beholdIt(was) a snakemoving swiftly
20:20
قَالَخُذْهَاوَلَاتَخَفْ ۖسَنُعِيدُهَاسِيرَتَهَاٱلْأُولَىٰ
l-ūlāsīratahāsanuʿīduhātakhafwalākhudh'hāqāla
He saidSeize itand (do) notfearWe will return it(to) its statethe former
20:21
وَٱضْمُمْيَدَكَإِلَىٰجَنَاحِكَتَخْرُجْبَيْضَآءَمِنْغَيْرِسُوٓءٍءَايَةًأُخْرَىٰ
ukh'rāāyatansūinghayriminbayḍāatakhrujjanāḥikailāyadakawa-uḍ'mum
And draw nearyour handtoyour sideit will come outwhitewithout anywithout anydisease(as) a signanother
20:22
لِنُرِيَكَمِنْءَايَـٰتِنَاٱلْكُبْرَى
l-kub'rāāyātināminlinuriyaka
That We may show youofOur Signsthe Greatest
20:23
ٱذْهَبْإِلَىٰفِرْعَوْنَإِنَّهُۥطَغَىٰ
ṭaghāinnahufir'ʿawnailāidh'hab
GotoFiraunIndeed, he(has) transgressed
20:24
قَالَرَبِّٱشْرَحْلِىصَدْرِى
ṣadrīish'raḥrabbiqāla
He saidMy LordExpandfor memy breast
20:25
وَيَسِّرْلِىٓأَمْرِى
amrīwayassir
And easefor memy task
20:26
وَٱحْلُلْعُقْدَةًۭمِّنلِّسَانِى
lisānīminʿuq'datanwa-uḥ'lul
And untie(the) knotfrommy tongue
20:27
يَفْقَهُوا۟قَوْلِى
qawlīyafqahū
That they may understandmy speech
20:28
وَٱجْعَللِّىوَزِيرًۭامِّنْأَهْلِى
ahlīminwazīranwa-ij'ʿal
And appointfor mea ministerfrommy family
20:29
هَـٰرُونَأَخِى
akhīhārūna
Harunmy brother
20:30
ٱشْدُدْبِهِۦٓأَزْرِى
azrībihiush'dud
Reinforcethrough himmy strength
20:31
وَأَشْرِكْهُفِىٓأَمْرِى
amrīwa-ashrik'hu
And make him share[in]my task
20:32
كَىْنُسَبِّحَكَكَثِيرًۭا
kathīrannusabbiḥakakay
Thatwe may glorify Youmuch
20:33
وَنَذْكُرَكَكَثِيرًا
kathīranwanadhkuraka
And [we] remember Youmuch
20:34
إِنَّكَكُنتَبِنَابَصِيرًۭا
baṣīranbinākuntainnaka
Indeed, [You]You areof usAll-Seer
20:35
قَالَقَدْأُوتِيتَسُؤْلَكَيَـٰمُوسَىٰ
yāmūsāsu'lakaūtītaqadqāla
He saidVerilyyou are grantedyour requestO Musa
20:36
وَلَقَدْمَنَنَّاعَلَيْكَمَرَّةًأُخْرَىٰٓ
ukh'rāmarratanʿalaykamanannāwalaqad
And indeedWe conferred a favoron youanother timeanother time
20:37
إِذْأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَىٰٓأُمِّكَمَايُوحَىٰٓ
yūḥāummikailāawḥaynāidh
WhenWe inspiredtoyour motherwhatis inspired
20:38
أَنِٱقْذِفِيهِفِىٱلتَّابُوتِفَٱقْذِفِيهِفِىٱلْيَمِّفَلْيُلْقِهِٱلْيَمُّبِٱلسَّاحِلِيَأْخُذْهُعَدُوٌّۭلِّىوَعَدُوٌّۭلَّهُۥ ۚوَأَلْقَيْتُعَلَيْكَمَحَبَّةًۭمِّنِّىوَلِتُصْنَعَعَلَىٰعَيْنِىٓ
ʿaynīʿalāwalituṣ'naʿaminnīmaḥabbatanʿalaykawa-alqaytulahuwaʿaduwwunʿaduwwunyakhudh'hubil-sāḥilil-yamufalyul'qihil-yamifa-iq'dhifīhil-tābūtiiq'dhifīhiani
Thatcast himinthe chestthen cast itinthe riverthen let cast itthe riveron the bankwill take himan enemyto Meand an enemyto himAnd I castover youlovefrom Meand that you may be brought upunderMy eye
20:39
إِذْتَمْشِىٓأُخْتُكَفَتَقُولُهَلْأَدُلُّكُمْعَلَىٰمَنيَكْفُلُهُۥ ۖفَرَجَعْنَـٰكَإِلَىٰٓأُمِّكَكَىْتَقَرَّعَيْنُهَاوَلَاتَحْزَنَ ۚوَقَتَلْتَنَفْسًۭافَنَجَّيْنَـٰكَمِنَٱلْغَمِّوَفَتَنَّـٰكَفُتُونًۭا ۚفَلَبِثْتَسِنِينَفِىٓأَهْلِمَدْيَنَثُمَّجِئْتَعَلَىٰقَدَرٍۢيَـٰمُوسَىٰ
yāmūsāqadarinʿalāji'tathummamadyanaahlisinīnafalabith'tafutūnanwafatannākal-ghamiminafanajjaynākanafsanwaqataltataḥzanawalāʿaynuhātaqarrakayummikailāfarajaʿnākayakfuluhumanʿalāadullukumhalfataqūluukh'tukatamshīidh
Whenwas goingyour sisterand she saidShallI show you[to](one) whowill nurse and rear himSo We returned youtoyour motherthatmay be cooledher eyesand notshe grievesAnd you killeda manbut We saved youfromthe distressand We tried you(with) a trialThen you remained(some) yearswith(the) people(of) MadyanThenyou cameatthe decreed (time)O Musa
20:40
وَٱصْطَنَعْتُكَلِنَفْسِى
linafsīwa-iṣ'ṭanaʿtuka
And I (have) chosen youfor Myself
20:41
ٱذْهَبْأَنتَوَأَخُوكَبِـَٔايَـٰتِىوَلَاتَنِيَافِىذِكْرِى
dhik'rītaniyāwalābiāyātīwa-akhūkaantaidh'hab
Goyouand your brotherwith My Signsand (do) notslackeninMy remembrance
20:42
ٱذْهَبَآإِلَىٰفِرْعَوْنَإِنَّهُۥطَغَىٰ
ṭaghāinnahufir'ʿawnailāidh'habā
Go, both of youtoFiraunIndeed, he(has) transgressed
20:43
فَقُولَالَهُۥقَوْلًۭالَّيِّنًۭالَّعَلَّهُۥيَتَذَكَّرُأَوْيَخْشَىٰ
yakhshāawyatadhakkarulaʿallahulayyinanqawlanlahufaqūlā
And speakto hima wordgentleperhaps hemay take heedorfear
20:44
قَالَارَبَّنَآإِنَّنَانَخَافُأَنيَفْرُطَعَلَيْنَآأَوْأَنيَطْغَىٰ
yaṭghāanawʿalaynāyafruṭaannakhāfuinnanārabbanāqālā
They saidOur LordIndeed, wefearthathe will hastenagainst usorthathe will transgress
20:45
قَالَلَاتَخَافَآ ۖإِنَّنِىمَعَكُمَآأَسْمَعُوَأَرَىٰ
wa-arāasmaʿumaʿakumāinnanītakhāfāqāla
He said(Do) notfearIndeed, I Amwith you bothI hearand I see
20:46
فَأْتِيَاهُفَقُولَآإِنَّارَسُولَارَبِّكَفَأَرْسِلْمَعَنَابَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَوَلَاتُعَذِّبْهُمْ ۖقَدْجِئْنَـٰكَبِـَٔايَةٍۢمِّنرَّبِّكَ ۖوَٱلسَّلَـٰمُعَلَىٰمَنِٱتَّبَعَٱلْهُدَىٰٓ
l-hudāittabaʿamaniʿalāwal-salāmurabbikaminbiāyatinji'nākaqadtuʿadhib'humwalāis'rāīlabanīmaʿanāfa-arsilrabbikarasūlāinnāfaqūlāfatiyāhu
So go to himand sayIndeed, weboth (are) Messengers(of) your Lordso sendwith us(the) Children of Israel(the) Children of Israeland (do) nottorment themVerilywe came to youwith a Signfromyour LordAnd peaceon(one) whofollowsthe Guidance
20:47
إِنَّاقَدْأُوحِىَإِلَيْنَآأَنَّٱلْعَذَابَعَلَىٰمَنكَذَّبَوَتَوَلَّىٰ
watawallākadhabamanʿalāl-ʿadhābaannailaynāūḥiyaqadinnā
Indeed, weverilyit has been revealedto usthatthe punishment(will be) on(one) whodeniesand turns away
20:48
قَالَفَمَنرَّبُّكُمَايَـٰمُوسَىٰ
yāmūsārabbukumāfamanqāla
He saidThen who(is) your LordO Musa
20:49
قَالَرَبُّنَاٱلَّذِىٓأَعْطَىٰكُلَّشَىْءٍخَلْقَهُۥثُمَّهَدَىٰ
hadāthummakhalqahushayinkullaaʿṭāalladhīrabbunāqāla
He saidOur Lord(is) the One Whogave(to) everythingits formthenHe guided (it)
20:50
قَالَفَمَابَالُٱلْقُرُونِٱلْأُولَىٰ
l-ūlāl-qurūnibālufamāqāla
He saidThen what(is the) case(of) the generations(of) the former
20:51
قَالَعِلْمُهَاعِندَرَبِّىفِىكِتَـٰبٍۢ ۖلَّايَضِلُّرَبِّىوَلَايَنسَى
yansāwalārabbīyaḍillukitābinrabbīʿindaʿil'muhāqāla
He saidIts knowledge(is) withmy Lordina RecordNoterrsmy Lordand notforgets
20:52
ٱلَّذِىجَعَلَلَكُمُٱلْأَرْضَمَهْدًۭاوَسَلَكَلَكُمْفِيهَاسُبُلًۭاوَأَنزَلَمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۭفَأَخْرَجْنَابِهِۦٓأَزْوَٰجًۭامِّننَّبَاتٍۢشَتَّىٰ
shattānabātinminazwājanbihifa-akhrajnāmāanl-samāiminawa-anzalasubulanfīhālakumwasalakamahdanl-arḍalakumujaʿalaalladhī
The One Whomadefor youthe earth(as) a bedand insertedfor youthereinwaysand sent downfromthe skywaterthen We (have) brought forthwith itpairsofplantsdiverse
20:53
كُلُوا۟وَٱرْعَوْا۟أَنْعَـٰمَكُمْ ۗإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّأُو۟لِىٱلنُّهَىٰ
l-nuhāli-ulīlaāyātindhālikainnaanʿāmakumwa-ir'ʿawkulū
Eatand pastureyour cattleIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor possessors(of) intelligence
20:54
۞ مِنْهَاخَلَقْنَـٰكُمْوَفِيهَانُعِيدُكُمْوَمِنْهَانُخْرِجُكُمْتَارَةًأُخْرَىٰ
ukh'rātāratannukh'rijukumwamin'hānuʿīdukumwafīhākhalaqnākummin'hā
From itWe created youand in itWe will return youand from itWe will bring you outtimeanother
20:55
وَلَقَدْأَرَيْنَـٰهُءَايَـٰتِنَاكُلَّهَافَكَذَّبَوَأَبَىٰ
wa-abāfakadhabakullahāāyātināaraynāhuwalaqad
And verilyWe showed himOur Signsall of thembut he deniedand refused
20:56
قَالَأَجِئْتَنَالِتُخْرِجَنَامِنْأَرْضِنَابِسِحْرِكَيَـٰمُوسَىٰ
yāmūsābisiḥ'rikaarḍināminlitukh'rijanāaji'tanāqāla
He saidHave you come to usto drive us outofour landwith your magicO Musa
20:57
فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّكَبِسِحْرٍۢمِّثْلِهِۦفَٱجْعَلْبَيْنَنَاوَبَيْنَكَمَوْعِدًۭالَّانُخْلِفُهُۥنَحْنُوَلَآأَنتَمَكَانًۭاسُوًۭى
suwanmakānanantawalānaḥnunukh'lifuhumawʿidanwabaynakabaynanāfa-ij'ʿalmith'lihibisiḥ'rinfalanatiyannaka
Then we will surely produce for youmagiclike itSo makebetween usand between youan appointmentnotwe will fail it[we]and notyou(in) a placeeven
20:58
قَالَمَوْعِدُكُمْيَوْمُٱلزِّينَةِوَأَنيُحْشَرَٱلنَّاسُضُحًۭى
ḍuḥanl-nāsuyuḥ'sharawa-anl-zīnatiyawmumawʿidukumqāla
He saidYour appointment(is on the) day(of) the festivaland thatwill be assembledthe people(at) forenoon
20:59
فَتَوَلَّىٰفِرْعَوْنُفَجَمَعَكَيْدَهُۥثُمَّأَتَىٰ
atāthummakaydahufajamaʿafir'ʿawnufatawallā
Then went awayFiraunand put togetherhis planthencame
20:60
قَالَلَهُممُّوسَىٰوَيْلَكُمْلَاتَفْتَرُوا۟عَلَىٱللَّهِكَذِبًۭافَيُسْحِتَكُمبِعَذَابٍۢ ۖوَقَدْخَابَمَنِٱفْتَرَىٰ
if'tarāmanikhābawaqadbiʿadhābinfayus'ḥitakumkadhibanl-lahiʿalātaftarūwaylakummūsālahumqāla
Saidto themMusaWoe to you(Do) notinventagainstAllaha lielest He will destroy youwith a punishmentAnd verilyhe failedwhoinvented
20:61
فَتَنَـٰزَعُوٓا۟أَمْرَهُمبَيْنَهُمْوَأَسَرُّوا۟ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ
l-najwāwa-asarrūbaynahumamrahumfatanāzaʿū
Then they disputed(in) their affairamong themand they kept secretthe private conversation
20:62
قَالُوٓا۟إِنْهَـٰذَٰنِلَسَـٰحِرَٰنِيُرِيدَانِأَنيُخْرِجَاكُممِّنْأَرْضِكُمبِسِحْرِهِمَاوَيَذْهَبَابِطَرِيقَتِكُمُٱلْمُثْلَىٰ
l-muth'lābiṭarīqatikumuwayadhhabābisiḥ'rihimāarḍikumminyukh'rijākumanyurīdānilasāḥirānihādhāniinqālū
They saidIndeedthese two[two] magiciansthey intendthatthey drive you outofyour landwith their magicand do awaywith your waythe exemplary
20:63
فَأَجْمِعُوا۟كَيْدَكُمْثُمَّٱئْتُوا۟صَفًّۭا ۚوَقَدْأَفْلَحَٱلْيَوْمَمَنِٱسْتَعْلَىٰ
is'taʿlāmanil-yawmaaflaḥawaqadṣaffani'tūthummakaydakumfa-ajmiʿū
So put togetheryour planthencome(in) a lineAnd verily(will be) successfultodaywhoovercomes
20:64
قَالُوا۟يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓإِمَّآأَنتُلْقِىَوَإِمَّآأَننَّكُونَأَوَّلَمَنْأَلْقَىٰ
alqāmanawwalanakūnaanwa-immātul'qiyaanimmāyāmūsāqālū
They saidO MusaEither[that]you throwor[that]we will bethe firstwhothrows
20:65
قَالَبَلْأَلْقُوا۟ ۖفَإِذَاحِبَالُهُمْوَعِصِيُّهُمْيُخَيَّلُإِلَيْهِمِنسِحْرِهِمْأَنَّهَاتَسْعَىٰ
tasʿāannahāsiḥ'rihimminilayhiyukhayyaluwaʿiṣiyyuhumḥibāluhumfa-idhāalqūbalqāla
He saidNayyou throwThen beholdTheir ropesand their staffsseemedto himbytheir magicthat they(were) moving
20:66
فَأَوْجَسَفِىنَفْسِهِۦخِيفَةًۭمُّوسَىٰ
mūsākhīfatannafsihifa-awjasa
So sensedinhimselfa fearMusa
20:67
قُلْنَالَاتَخَفْإِنَّكَأَنتَٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
l-aʿlāantainnakatakhafqul'nā
We said(Do) notfearIndeed, youyou(will be) superior
20:68
وَأَلْقِمَافِىيَمِينِكَتَلْقَفْمَاصَنَعُوٓا۟ ۖإِنَّمَاصَنَعُوا۟كَيْدُسَـٰحِرٍۢ ۖوَلَايُفْلِحُٱلسَّاحِرُحَيْثُأَتَىٰ
atāḥaythul-sāḥiruyuf'liḥuwalāsāḥirinkayduṣanaʿūinnamāṣanaʿūtalqafyamīnikawa-alqi
And throwwhat(is) inyour right handit will swallow upwhatthey have madeOnlythey (have) madea trick(of) a magicianand notwill be successfulthe magicianwhereverhe comes
20:69
فَأُلْقِىَٱلسَّحَرَةُسُجَّدًۭاقَالُوٓا۟ءَامَنَّابِرَبِّهَـٰرُونَوَمُوسَىٰ
wamūsāhārūnabirabbiāmannāqālūsujjadanl-saḥaratufa-ul'qiya
So were thrown downthe magiciansprostratingThey saidWe believein (the) Lord(of) Harunand Musa
20:70
قَالَءَامَنتُمْلَهُۥقَبْلَأَنْءَاذَنَلَكُمْ ۖإِنَّهُۥلَكَبِيرُكُمُٱلَّذِىعَلَّمَكُمُٱلسِّحْرَ ۖفَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّأَيْدِيَكُمْوَأَرْجُلَكُممِّنْخِلَـٰفٍۢوَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْفِىجُذُوعِٱلنَّخْلِوَلَتَعْلَمُنَّأَيُّنَآأَشَدُّعَذَابًۭاوَأَبْقَىٰ
wa-abqāʿadhābanashadduayyunāwalataʿlamunnal-nakhlijudhūʿiwala-uṣallibannakumkhilāfinminwa-arjulakumaydiyakumfala-uqaṭṭiʿannal-siḥ'raʿallamakumualladhīlakabīrukumuinnahulakumādhanaanqablalahuāmantumqāla
He saidYou believe[to] himbefore[that]I gave permissionto youIndeed, he(is) your chiefthe one whotaught youthe magicSo surely I will cut offyour handsand your feetofopposite sidesand surely I will crucify youon(the) trunks(of) date-palmsand surely you will knowwhich of us(is) more severe(in) punishmentand more lasting
20:71
قَالُوا۟لَننُّؤْثِرَكَعَلَىٰمَاجَآءَنَامِنَٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِوَٱلَّذِىفَطَرَنَا ۖفَٱقْضِمَآأَنتَقَاضٍ ۖإِنَّمَاتَقْضِىهَـٰذِهِٱلْحَيَوٰةَٱلدُّنْيَآ
l-dun'yāl-ḥayatahādhihitaqḍīinnamāqāḍinantafa-iq'ḍifaṭaranāwa-alladhīl-bayinātiminajāanāʿalānu'thirakalanqālū
They saidNeverwe will prefer youoverwhathas come to usofthe clear proofsand the One Whocreated usSo decreewhateveryou(are) decreeingOnlyyou can decree(for) thislife(of) the world
20:72
إِنَّآءَامَنَّابِرَبِّنَالِيَغْفِرَلَنَاخَطَـٰيَـٰنَاوَمَآأَكْرَهْتَنَاعَلَيْهِمِنَٱلسِّحْرِ ۗوَٱللَّهُخَيْرٌۭوَأَبْقَىٰٓ
wa-abqākhayrunwal-lahul-siḥ'riminaʿalayhiakrahtanāwamākhaṭāyānālanāliyaghfirabirabbināāmannāinnā
Indeed, [we]we believein our Lordthat He may forgivefor usour sinsand whatyou compelled uson itofthe magicAnd Allah(is) Bestand Ever Lasting
20:73
إِنَّهُۥمَنيَأْتِرَبَّهُۥمُجْرِمًۭافَإِنَّلَهُۥجَهَنَّمَلَايَمُوتُفِيهَاوَلَايَحْيَىٰ
yaḥyāwalāfīhāyamūtujahannamalahufa-innamuj'rimanrabbahuyatimaninnahu
Indeed, hewhocomes(to) his Lord(as) a criminalthen indeedfor him(is) HellNothe will diein itand notlive
20:74
وَمَنيَأْتِهِۦمُؤْمِنًۭاقَدْعَمِلَٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَهُمُٱلدَّرَجَـٰتُٱلْعُلَىٰ
l-ʿulāl-darajātulahumufa-ulāikal-ṣāliḥātiʿamilaqadmu'minanyatihiwaman
But whoevercomes to Him(as) a belieververilyhe has donethe righteous deedsthen thosefor them(will be) the ranks[the] high
20:75
جَنَّـٰتُعَدْنٍۢتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَا ۚوَذَٰلِكَجَزَآءُمَنتَزَكَّىٰ
tazakkāmanjazāuwadhālikafīhākhālidīnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrīʿadninjannātu
Gardens(of) Edenflowsfromunderneath themthe riversabiding foreverin itAnd that(is) the reward(for him) whopurifies himself
20:76
وَلَقَدْأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَىٰمُوسَىٰٓأَنْأَسْرِبِعِبَادِىفَٱضْرِبْلَهُمْطَرِيقًۭافِىٱلْبَحْرِيَبَسًۭالَّاتَخَـٰفُدَرَكًۭاوَلَاتَخْشَىٰ
takhshāwalādarakantakhāfuyabasanl-baḥriṭarīqanlahumfa-iḍ'ribbiʿibādīasrianmūsāilāawḥaynāwalaqad
And verilyWe inspiredtoMusathatTravel by nightwith My slavesand strikefor thema pathinthe seadrynotfearingto be overtakenand notbeing afraid
20:77
فَأَتْبَعَهُمْفِرْعَوْنُبِجُنُودِهِۦفَغَشِيَهُممِّنَٱلْيَمِّمَاغَشِيَهُمْ
ghashiyahuml-yamiminafaghashiyahumbijunūdihifir'ʿawnufa-atbaʿahum
Then followed themFiraunwith his forcesbut covered themfromthe seawhatcovered them
20:78
وَأَضَلَّفِرْعَوْنُقَوْمَهُۥوَمَاهَدَىٰ
hadāwamāqawmahufir'ʿawnuwa-aḍalla
And led astrayFiraunhis peopleand (did) notguide them
20:79
يَـٰبَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَقَدْأَنجَيْنَـٰكُممِّنْعَدُوِّكُمْوَوَٰعَدْنَـٰكُمْجَانِبَٱلطُّورِٱلْأَيْمَنَوَنَزَّلْنَاعَلَيْكُمُٱلْمَنَّوَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ
wal-salwāl-manaʿalaykumuwanazzalnāl-aymanal-ṭūrijānibawawāʿadnākumʿaduwwikumminanjaynākumqadis'rāīlayābanī
O Children of IsraelO Children of IsraelVerilyWe delivered youfromyour enemyand We made a covenant with youon (the) side(of) the Mountthe rightand We sent downto youthe Mannaand the quails
20:80
كُلُوا۟مِنطَيِّبَـٰتِمَارَزَقْنَـٰكُمْوَلَاتَطْغَوْا۟فِيهِفَيَحِلَّعَلَيْكُمْغَضَبِى ۖوَمَنيَحْلِلْعَلَيْهِغَضَبِىفَقَدْهَوَىٰ
hawāfaqadghaḍabīʿalayhiyaḥlilwamanghaḍabīʿalaykumfayaḥillafīhitaṭghawwalārazaqnākumṭayyibātiminkulū
Eatof(the) good thingswhichWe have provided youand (do) nottransgressthereinlest should descendupon youMy AngerAnd whoeveron whom descendson whom descendsMy Angerindeedhe (has) perished
20:81
وَإِنِّىلَغَفَّارٌۭلِّمَنتَابَوَءَامَنَوَعَمِلَصَـٰلِحًۭاثُمَّٱهْتَدَىٰ
ih'tadāthummaṣāliḥanwaʿamilawaāmanatābalimanlaghaffārunwa-innī
But indeed, I Amthe Perpetual Forgiverof whoeverrepentsand believesand doesrighteous (deeds)thenremains guided
20:82
۞ وَمَآأَعْجَلَكَعَنقَوْمِكَيَـٰمُوسَىٰ
yāmūsāqawmikaʿanaʿjalakawamā
And whatmade you hastenfromyour peopleO Musa
20:83
قَالَهُمْأُو۟لَآءِعَلَىٰٓأَثَرِىوَعَجِلْتُإِلَيْكَرَبِّلِتَرْضَىٰ
litarḍārabbiilaykawaʿajil'tuatharīʿalāulāihumqāla
He saidThey(are) closeuponmy tracksand I hastenedto youmy Lordthat You be pleased
20:84
قَالَفَإِنَّاقَدْفَتَنَّاقَوْمَكَمِنۢبَعْدِكَوَأَضَلَّهُمُٱلسَّامِرِىُّ
l-sāmiriyuwa-aḍallahumubaʿdikaminqawmakafatannāqadfa-innāqāla
He saidBut indeed, We[verily]We (have) triedyour peopleafter youafter youand has led them astraythe Samiri
20:85
فَرَجَعَمُوسَىٰٓإِلَىٰقَوْمِهِۦغَضْبَـٰنَأَسِفًۭا ۚقَالَيَـٰقَوْمِأَلَمْيَعِدْكُمْرَبُّكُمْوَعْدًاحَسَنًا ۚأَفَطَالَعَلَيْكُمُٱلْعَهْدُأَمْأَرَدتُّمْأَنيَحِلَّعَلَيْكُمْغَضَبٌۭمِّنرَّبِّكُمْفَأَخْلَفْتُممَّوْعِدِى
mawʿidīfa-akhlaftumrabbikumminghaḍabunʿalaykumyaḥillaanaradttumaml-ʿahduʿalaykumuafaṭālaḥasananwaʿdanrabbukumyaʿid'kumalamyāqawmiqālaasifanghaḍbānaqawmihiilāmūsāfarajaʿa
Then Musa returnedThen Musa returnedtohis peopleangry(and) sorrowfulHe saidO my peopleDid notpromise youyour Lorda promisegoodThen, did seem longto youthe promiseordid you desirethatdescendupon you(the) Angerofyour Lordso you broke(the) promise to me
20:86
قَالُوا۟مَآأَخْلَفْنَامَوْعِدَكَبِمَلْكِنَاوَلَـٰكِنَّاحُمِّلْنَآأَوْزَارًۭامِّنزِينَةِٱلْقَوْمِفَقَذَفْنَـٰهَافَكَذَٰلِكَأَلْقَىٱلسَّامِرِىُّ
l-sāmiriyualqāfakadhālikafaqadhafnāhāl-qawmizīnatiminawzāranḥummil'nāwalākinnābimalkināmawʿidakaakhlafnāqālū
They saidNotwe brokepromise to youby our willbut we[we] were made to carryburdensfromornaments(of) the peopleso we threw themand thusthrewthe Samiri
20:87
فَأَخْرَجَلَهُمْعِجْلًۭاجَسَدًۭالَّهُۥخُوَارٌۭفَقَالُوا۟هَـٰذَآإِلَـٰهُكُمْوَإِلَـٰهُمُوسَىٰفَنَسِىَ
fanasiyamūsāwa-ilāhuilāhukumhādhāfaqālūkhuwārunlahujasadanʿij'lanlahumfa-akhraja
Then he brought forthfor thema calf'sbodyit hada lowing soundand they saidThis(is) your godand the god(of) Musabut he forgot
20:88
أَفَلَايَرَوْنَأَلَّايَرْجِعُإِلَيْهِمْقَوْلًۭاوَلَايَمْلِكُلَهُمْضَرًّۭاوَلَانَفْعًۭا
nafʿanwalāḍarranlahumyamlikuwalāqawlanilayhimyarjiʿuallāyarawnaafalā
Then, did notthey seethat notit (could) returnto thema wordand notpossessfor themany harmand notany benefit
20:89
وَلَقَدْقَالَلَهُمْهَـٰرُونُمِنقَبْلُيَـٰقَوْمِإِنَّمَافُتِنتُمبِهِۦ ۖوَإِنَّرَبَّكُمُٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُفَٱتَّبِعُونِىوَأَطِيعُوٓا۟أَمْرِى
amrīwa-aṭīʿūfa-ittabiʿūnīl-raḥmānurabbakumuwa-innabihifutintuminnamāyāqawmiqabluminhārūnulahumqālawalaqad
And verily(had) saidto themHarunbeforebeforeO my peopleOnlyyou are being testedby itand indeedyour Lord(is) the Most Graciousso follow meand obeymy order
20:90
قَالُوا۟لَننَّبْرَحَعَلَيْهِعَـٰكِفِينَحَتَّىٰيَرْجِعَإِلَيْنَامُوسَىٰ
mūsāilaynāyarjiʿaḥattāʿākifīnaʿalayhinabraḥalanqālū
They saidNeverwe will ceasebeing devoted to itbeing devoted to ituntilreturnsto usMusa
20:91
قَالَيَـٰهَـٰرُونُمَامَنَعَكَإِذْرَأَيْتَهُمْضَلُّوٓا۟
ḍallūra-aytahumidhmanaʿakayāhārūnuqāla
He saidO HarunWhatprevented youwhenyou saw themgoing astray
20:92
أَلَّاتَتَّبِعَنِ ۖأَفَعَصَيْتَأَمْرِى
amrīafaʿaṣaytatattabiʿaniallā
That notyou follow meThen, have you disobeyedmy order
20:93
قَالَيَبْنَؤُمَّلَاتَأْخُذْبِلِحْيَتِىوَلَابِرَأْسِىٓ ۖإِنِّىخَشِيتُأَنتَقُولَفَرَّقْتَبَيْنَبَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَوَلَمْتَرْقُبْقَوْلِى
qawlītarqubwalamis'rāīlabanībaynafarraqtataqūlaankhashītuinnībirasīwalābiliḥ'yatītakhudhyabna-ummaqāla
He saidO son of my mother(Do) notseize (me)by my beardand notby my headIndeed, I[I] fearedthatyou would sayYou caused divisionbetween(the) Children of Israel(the) Children of Israeland notyou respectmy word
20:94
قَالَفَمَاخَطْبُكَيَـٰسَـٰمِرِىُّ
yāsāmiriyyukhaṭbukafamāqāla
He saidThen what(is) your caseO Samiri
20:95
قَالَبَصُرْتُبِمَالَمْيَبْصُرُوا۟بِهِۦفَقَبَضْتُقَبْضَةًۭمِّنْأَثَرِٱلرَّسُولِفَنَبَذْتُهَاوَكَذَٰلِكَسَوَّلَتْلِىنَفْسِى
nafsīsawwalatwakadhālikafanabadhtuhāl-rasūliathariminqabḍatanfaqabaḍtubihiyabṣurūlambimābaṣur'tuqāla
He saidI perceivedwhatnotthey perceivein itso I tooka handfulfrom(the) track(of) the Messengerthen threw itand thussuggestedto memy soul
20:96
قَالَفَٱذْهَبْفَإِنَّلَكَفِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِأَنتَقُولَلَامِسَاسَ ۖوَإِنَّلَكَمَوْعِدًۭالَّنتُخْلَفَهُۥ ۖوَٱنظُرْإِلَىٰٓإِلَـٰهِكَٱلَّذِىظَلْتَعَلَيْهِعَاكِفًۭا ۖلَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُۥثُمَّلَنَنسِفَنَّهُۥفِىٱلْيَمِّنَسْفًا
nasfanl-yamilanansifannahuthummalanuḥarriqannahuʿākifanʿalayhiẓaltaalladhīilāhikailāwa-unẓurtukh'lafahulanmawʿidanlakawa-innamisāsataqūlaanl-ḥayatilakafa-innafa-idh'habqāla
He saidThen goAnd indeedfor youinthe lifethatyou will say(Do) nottouchAnd indeedfor you(is) an appointmentneveryou will fail to (keep) itAnd lookatyour godthat whichyou have remainedto itdevotedSurely we will burn itthencertainly we will scatter itinthe sea(in) particles
20:97
إِنَّمَآإِلَـٰهُكُمُٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَ ۚوَسِعَكُلَّشَىْءٍعِلْمًۭا
ʿil'manshayinkullawasiʿahuwaillāilāhaalladhīl-lahuilāhukumuinnamā
Onlyyour God(is) Allahthe One(there is) nogodbutHeHe has encompassedallthings(in) knowledge
20:98
كَذَٰلِكَنَقُصُّعَلَيْكَمِنْأَنۢبَآءِمَاقَدْسَبَقَ ۚوَقَدْءَاتَيْنَـٰكَمِنلَّدُنَّاذِكْرًۭا
dhik'ranladunnāminātaynākawaqadsabaqaqadanbāiminʿalaykanaquṣṣukadhālika
ThusWe relateto youfrom(the) news(of) whathas precededhas precededAnd certainlyWe have given youfromUsa Reminder
20:99
مَّنْأَعْرَضَعَنْهُفَإِنَّهُۥيَحْمِلُيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِوِزْرًا
wiz'ranl-qiyāmatiyawmayaḥmilufa-innahuʿanhuaʿraḍaman
Whoeverturns awayfrom itthen indeed, hewill bear(on the) Day(of) Resurrectiona burden
20:100
خَـٰلِدِينَفِيهِ ۖوَسَآءَلَهُمْيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِحِمْلًۭا
ḥim'lanl-qiyāmatiyawmalahumwasāafīhikhālidīna
Abiding foreverin itand evilfor them(on the) Day(of) the Resurrection(as) a load
20:101
يَوْمَيُنفَخُفِىٱلصُّورِ ۚوَنَحْشُرُٱلْمُجْرِمِينَيَوْمَئِذٍۢزُرْقًۭا
zur'qanyawma-idhinl-muj'rimīnawanaḥshurul-ṣūriyunfakhuyawma
(The) Daywill be blowninthe Trumpetand We will gatherthe criminalsthat Dayblue-eyed
20:102
يَتَخَـٰفَتُونَبَيْنَهُمْإِنلَّبِثْتُمْإِلَّاعَشْرًۭا
ʿashranillālabith'tuminbaynahumyatakhāfatūna
They are murmuringamong themselvesNotyou remainedexcept (for)ten
20:103
نَّحْنُأَعْلَمُبِمَايَقُولُونَإِذْيَقُولُأَمْثَلُهُمْطَرِيقَةًإِنلَّبِثْتُمْإِلَّايَوْمًۭا
yawmanillālabith'tuminṭarīqatanamthaluhumyaqūluidhyaqūlūnabimāaʿlamunaḥnu
Weknow bestwhatthey will saywhenwill say(the) best of them(in) conductNotyou remainedexcept (for)a day
20:104
وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَعَنِٱلْجِبَالِفَقُلْيَنسِفُهَارَبِّىنَسْفًۭا
nasfanrabbīyansifuhāfaqull-jibāliʿaniwayasalūnaka
And they ask youaboutthe mountainsso sayWill blast themmy Lord(into) particles
20:105
فَيَذَرُهَاقَاعًۭاصَفْصَفًۭا
ṣafṣafanqāʿanfayadharuhā
Then He will leave ita levelplain
20:106
لَّاتَرَىٰفِيهَاعِوَجًۭاوَلَآأَمْتًۭا
amtanwalāʿiwajanfīhātarā
Notyou will seein itany crookednessand notany curve
20:107
يَوْمَئِذٍۢيَتَّبِعُونَٱلدَّاعِىَلَاعِوَجَلَهُۥ ۖوَخَشَعَتِٱلْأَصْوَاتُلِلرَّحْمَـٰنِفَلَاتَسْمَعُإِلَّاهَمْسًۭا
hamsanillātasmaʿufalālilrraḥmānil-aṣwātuwakhashaʿatilahuʿiwajal-dāʿiyayattabiʿūnayawma-idhin
On that Daythey will followthe callernodeviationfrom itAnd (will be) humbledthe voicesfor the Most Graciousso notyou will hearexcepta faint sound
20:108
يَوْمَئِذٍۢلَّاتَنفَعُٱلشَّفَـٰعَةُإِلَّامَنْأَذِنَلَهُٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُوَرَضِىَلَهُۥقَوْلًۭا
qawlanlahuwaraḍiyal-raḥmānulahuadhinamanillāl-shafāʿatutanfaʿuyawma-idhin
(On) that Daynotwill benefitthe intercessionexcept(to) whomhas given permission[to him]the Most Graciousand He has acceptedfor hima word
20:109
يَعْلَمُمَابَيْنَأَيْدِيهِمْوَمَاخَلْفَهُمْوَلَايُحِيطُونَبِهِۦعِلْمًۭا
ʿil'manbihiyuḥīṭūnawalākhalfahumwamāaydīhimbaynayaʿlamu
He knowswhat(is) before them(is) before themand what(is) behind themwhile notthey encompassit(in) knowledge
20:110
۞ وَعَنَتِٱلْوُجُوهُلِلْحَىِّٱلْقَيُّومِ ۖوَقَدْخَابَمَنْحَمَلَظُلْمًۭا
ẓul'manḥamalamankhābawaqadl-qayūmilil'ḥayyil-wujūhuwaʿanati
And (will be) humbledthe facesbefore the Ever-Livingthe Self-SubsistingAnd verilywill have failed(he) whocarriedwrongdoing
20:111
وَمَنيَعْمَلْمِنَٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِوَهُوَمُؤْمِنٌۭفَلَايَخَافُظُلْمًۭاوَلَاهَضْمًۭا
haḍmanwalāẓul'manyakhāfufalāmu'minunwahuwal-ṣāliḥātiminayaʿmalwaman
But (he) whodoesofthe righteous deedswhile he(is) a believerthen nothe will fearinjusticeand notdeprivation
20:112
وَكَذَٰلِكَأَنزَلْنَـٰهُقُرْءَانًاعَرَبِيًّۭاوَصَرَّفْنَافِيهِمِنَٱلْوَعِيدِلَعَلَّهُمْيَتَّقُونَأَوْيُحْدِثُلَهُمْذِكْرًۭا
dhik'ranlahumyuḥ'dithuawyattaqūnalaʿallahuml-waʿīdiminafīhiwaṣarrafnāʿarabiyyanqur'ānananzalnāhuwakadhālika
And thusWe have sent it down(the) Quran(in) Arabicand We have explainedin itofthe warningsthat they mayfearorit may cause[for] themremembrance
20:113
فَتَعَـٰلَىٱللَّهُٱلْمَلِكُٱلْحَقُّ ۗوَلَاتَعْجَلْبِٱلْقُرْءَانِمِنقَبْلِأَنيُقْضَىٰٓإِلَيْكَوَحْيُهُۥ ۖوَقُلرَّبِّزِدْنِىعِلْمًۭا
ʿil'manzid'nīrabbiwaqulwaḥyuhuilaykayuq'ḍāanqabliminbil-qur'ānitaʿjalwalāl-ḥaqul-malikul-lahufataʿālā
So high (above all)(is) Allahthe Kingthe TrueAnd (do) nothastenwith the Quranbeforebefore[that]is completedto youits revelationand sayMy LordIncrease me(in) knowledge
20:114
وَلَقَدْعَهِدْنَآإِلَىٰٓءَادَمَمِنقَبْلُفَنَسِىَوَلَمْنَجِدْلَهُۥعَزْمًۭا
ʿazmanlahunajidwalamfanasiyaqabluminādamailāʿahid'nāwalaqad
And verilyWe made a covenantwithAdambeforebeforebut he forgotand notWe foundin himdetermination
20:115
وَإِذْقُلْنَالِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِٱسْجُدُوا۟لِـَٔادَمَفَسَجَدُوٓا۟إِلَّآإِبْلِيسَأَبَىٰ
abāib'līsaillāfasajadūliādamaus'judūlil'malāikatiqul'nāwa-idh
And whenWe saidto the AngelsProstrateto Adamthen they prostratedexceptIblishe refused
20:116
فَقُلْنَايَـٰٓـَٔادَمُإِنَّهَـٰذَاعَدُوٌّۭلَّكَوَلِزَوْجِكَفَلَايُخْرِجَنَّكُمَامِنَٱلْجَنَّةِفَتَشْقَىٰٓ
fatashqāl-janatiminayukh'rijannakumāfalāwalizawjikalakaʿaduwwunhādhāinnayāādamufaqul'nā
Then We saidO AdamIndeedthis(is) an enemyto youand to your wifeSo not(let) him drive you bothfromParadiseso (that) you would suffer
20:117
إِنَّلَكَأَلَّاتَجُوعَفِيهَاوَلَاتَعْرَىٰ
taʿrāwalāfīhātajūʿaallālakainna
Indeedfor youthat notyou will be hungrythereinand notyou will be unclothed
20:118
وَأَنَّكَلَاتَظْمَؤُا۟فِيهَاوَلَاتَضْحَىٰ
taḍḥāwalāfīhātaẓma-uwa-annaka
And that younotwill suffer from thirstthereinand notexposed to the sun's heat
20:119
فَوَسْوَسَإِلَيْهِٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُقَالَيَـٰٓـَٔادَمُهَلْأَدُلُّكَعَلَىٰشَجَرَةِٱلْخُلْدِوَمُلْكٍۢلَّايَبْلَىٰ
yablāwamul'kinl-khul'dishajaratiʿalāadullukahalyāādamuqālal-shayṭānuilayhifawaswasa
Then whisperedto himShaitaanhe saidO AdamShallI direct youto(the) tree(of) the Eternityand a kingdomnot(that will) deteriorate
20:120
فَأَكَلَامِنْهَافَبَدَتْلَهُمَاسَوْءَٰتُهُمَاوَطَفِقَايَخْصِفَانِعَلَيْهِمَامِنوَرَقِٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚوَعَصَىٰٓءَادَمُرَبَّهُۥفَغَوَىٰ
faghawārabbahuādamuwaʿaṣāl-janatiwaraqiminʿalayhimāyakhṣifāniwaṭafiqāsawātuhumālahumāfabadatmin'hāfa-akalā
Then they both atefrom itso became apparentto themtheir shameand they began(to) fastenon themselvesfrom(the) leaves(of) ParadiseAnd Adam disobeyedAnd Adam disobeyedhis Lordand erred
20:121
ثُمَّٱجْتَبَـٰهُرَبُّهُۥفَتَابَعَلَيْهِوَهَدَىٰ
wahadāʿalayhifatābarabbuhuij'tabāhuthumma
Thenchose himhis Lordand turnedto himand guided (him)
20:122
قَالَٱهْبِطَامِنْهَاجَمِيعًۢا ۖبَعْضُكُمْلِبَعْضٍعَدُوٌّۭ ۖفَإِمَّايَأْتِيَنَّكُممِّنِّىهُدًۭىفَمَنِٱتَّبَعَهُدَاىَفَلَايَضِلُّوَلَايَشْقَىٰ
yashqāwalāyaḍillufalāhudāyaittabaʿafamanihudanminnīyatiyannakumfa-immāʿaduwwunlibaʿḍinbaʿḍukumjamīʿanmin'hāih'biṭāqāla
He saidGo downfrom itallsome of youto others(as) enemyThen ifcomes to youfrom Meguidancethen whoeverfollowsMy guidancethen nothe will go astrayand notsuffer
20:123
وَمَنْأَعْرَضَعَنذِكْرِىفَإِنَّلَهُۥمَعِيشَةًۭضَنكًۭاوَنَحْشُرُهُۥيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِأَعْمَىٰ
aʿmāl-qiyāmatiyawmawanaḥshuruhuḍankanmaʿīshatanlahufa-innadhik'rīʿanaʿraḍawaman
And whoeverturns awayfromMy remembrancethen indeedfor him(is) a lifestraitenedand We will gather him(on the) Day(of) the Resurrectionblind
20:124
قَالَرَبِّلِمَحَشَرْتَنِىٓأَعْمَىٰوَقَدْكُنتُبَصِيرًۭا
baṣīrankuntuwaqadaʿmāḥashartanīlimarabbiqāla
He will sayMy LordWhyYou raised meblindwhile [verily]I hadsight
20:125
قَالَكَذَٰلِكَأَتَتْكَءَايَـٰتُنَافَنَسِيتَهَا ۖوَكَذَٰلِكَٱلْيَوْمَتُنسَىٰ
tunsāl-yawmawakadhālikafanasītahāāyātunāatatkakadhālikaqāla
He will sayThuscame to youOur Signsbut you forgot themand thustodayyou will be forgotten
20:126
وَكَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِىمَنْأَسْرَفَوَلَمْيُؤْمِنۢبِـَٔايَـٰتِرَبِّهِۦ ۚوَلَعَذَابُٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِأَشَدُّوَأَبْقَىٰٓ
wa-abqāashaddul-ākhiratiwalaʿadhāburabbihibiāyātiyu'minwalamasrafamannajzīwakadhālika
And thusWe recompense(he) whotransgressesand notbelievesin (the) Signs(of) his LordAnd surely (the) punishment(of) the Hereafter(is) more severeand more lasting
20:127
أَفَلَمْيَهْدِلَهُمْكَمْأَهْلَكْنَاقَبْلَهُممِّنَٱلْقُرُونِيَمْشُونَفِىمَسَـٰكِنِهِمْ ۗإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّأُو۟لِىٱلنُّهَىٰ
l-nuhāli-ulīlaāyātindhālikainnamasākinihimyamshūnal-qurūniminaqablahumahlaknākamlahumyahdiafalam
Then has notit guided[for] themhow manyWe (have) destroyedbefore themofthe generations(as) they walkintheir dwellingsIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor possessors(of) intelligence
20:128
وَلَوْلَاكَلِمَةٌۭسَبَقَتْمِنرَّبِّكَلَكَانَلِزَامًۭاوَأَجَلٌۭمُّسَمًّۭى
musammanwa-ajalunlizāmanlakānarabbikaminsabaqatkalimatunwalawlā
And if not(for) a Word(that) precededfromyour Lordsurely (would) have beenan obligationand a termdetermined
20:129
فَٱصْبِرْعَلَىٰمَايَقُولُونَوَسَبِّحْبِحَمْدِرَبِّكَقَبْلَطُلُوعِٱلشَّمْسِوَقَبْلَغُرُوبِهَا ۖوَمِنْءَانَآئِٱلَّيْلِفَسَبِّحْوَأَطْرَافَٱلنَّهَارِلَعَلَّكَتَرْضَىٰ
tarḍālaʿallakal-nahāriwa-aṭrāfafasabbiḥal-layliānāiwaminghurūbihāwaqablal-shamsiṭulūʿiqablarabbikabiḥamdiwasabbiḥyaqūlūnaʿalāfa-iṣ'bir
So be patientoverwhatthey sayand glorifywith praise(of) your Lordbefore(the) rising(of) the sunand beforeits settingand from(the) hours(of) the nightand glorify(at the) ends(of) the dayso that you maybe satisfied
20:130
وَلَاتَمُدَّنَّعَيْنَيْكَإِلَىٰمَامَتَّعْنَابِهِۦٓأَزْوَٰجًۭامِّنْهُمْزَهْرَةَٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَالِنَفْتِنَهُمْفِيهِ ۚوَرِزْقُرَبِّكَخَيْرٌۭوَأَبْقَىٰ
wa-abqākhayrunrabbikawariz'qufīhilinaftinahuml-dun'yāl-ḥayatizahratamin'humazwājanbihimattaʿnāilāʿaynaykatamuddannawalā
And (do) notextendyour eyestowardswhatWe have given for enjoyment[with it]pairsof them(the) splendor(of) the life(of) the worldthat We may test themin itAnd (the) provision(of) your Lord(is) betterand more lasting
20:131
وَأْمُرْأَهْلَكَبِٱلصَّلَوٰةِوَٱصْطَبِرْعَلَيْهَا ۖلَانَسْـَٔلُكَرِزْقًۭا ۖنَّحْنُنَرْزُقُكَ ۗوَٱلْعَـٰقِبَةُلِلتَّقْوَىٰ
lilttaqwāwal-ʿāqibatunarzuqukanaḥnuriz'qannasalukaʿalayhāwa-iṣ'ṭabirbil-ṣalatiahlakawamur
And enjoin(on) your familythe prayerand be steadfastthereinNotWe ask you(for) provisionWeprovide (for) youand the outcome(is) for the righteous[ness]
20:132
وَقَالُوا۟لَوْلَايَأْتِينَابِـَٔايَةٍۢمِّنرَّبِّهِۦٓ ۚأَوَلَمْتَأْتِهِمبَيِّنَةُمَافِىٱلصُّحُفِٱلْأُولَىٰ
l-ūlāl-ṣuḥufibayyinatutatihimawalamrabbihiminbiāyatinyatīnālawlāwaqālū
And they sayWhy nothe brings usa signfromhis LordHas notcome to themevidence(of) what(was) inthe Scripturesthe former
20:133
وَلَوْأَنَّآأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمبِعَذَابٍۢمِّنقَبْلِهِۦلَقَالُوا۟رَبَّنَالَوْلَآأَرْسَلْتَإِلَيْنَارَسُولًۭافَنَتَّبِعَءَايَـٰتِكَمِنقَبْلِأَننَّذِلَّوَنَخْزَىٰ
wanakhzānadhillaanqablimināyātikafanattabiʿarasūlanilaynāarsaltalawlārabbanālaqālūqablihiminbiʿadhābinahlaknāhumannāwalaw
And ifWe(had) destroyed themwith a punishmentbefore himbefore himsurely they (would) have saidOur Lordwhy notYou sentto usa Messengerso we (could) have followedYour signsbeforebefore[that]we were humiliatedand disgraced
20:134
قُلْكُلٌّۭمُّتَرَبِّصٌۭفَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ ۖفَسَتَعْلَمُونَمَنْأَصْحَـٰبُٱلصِّرَٰطِٱلسَّوِىِّوَمَنِٱهْتَدَىٰ
ih'tadāwamanil-sawiyil-ṣirāṭiaṣḥābumanfasataʿlamūnafatarabbaṣūmutarabbiṣunkullunqul
SayEach(is) waitingso awaitThen you will knowwho(are the) companions(of) the way[the] evenand whois guided
20:135
