Basmala
ٱقْتَرَبَلِلنَّاسِحِسَابُهُمْوَهُمْفِىغَفْلَةٍۢمُّعْرِضُونَ
muʿ'riḍūnaghaflatinfīwahumḥisābuhumlilnnāsiiq'taraba
(Has) approachedfor [the] mankindtheir accountwhile they(are) inheedlessnessturning away
21:1
مَايَأْتِيهِممِّنذِكْرٍۢمِّنرَّبِّهِممُّحْدَثٍإِلَّاٱسْتَمَعُوهُوَهُمْيَلْعَبُونَ
yalʿabūnawahumis'tamaʿūhuillāmuḥ'dathinrabbihimmindhik'rinminyatīhimmā
Notcomes to themofa Reminderfromtheir Lordanewexceptthey listen to itwhile they(are at) play
21:2
لَاهِيَةًۭقُلُوبُهُمْ ۗوَأَسَرُّوا۟ٱلنَّجْوَىٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟هَلْهَـٰذَآإِلَّابَشَرٌۭمِّثْلُكُمْ ۖأَفَتَأْتُونَٱلسِّحْرَوَأَنتُمْتُبْصِرُونَ
tub'ṣirūnawa-antuml-siḥ'raafatatūnamith'lukumbasharunillāhādhāhalẓalamūalladhīnal-najwāwa-asarrūqulūbuhumlāhiyatan
Distractedtheir heartsAnd they concealthe private conversationthose who[they] wrongedIsthisexcepta human beinglike youSo would you approachthe magicwhile yousee (it)
21:3
قَالَرَبِّىيَعْلَمُٱلْقَوْلَفِىٱلسَّمَآءِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖوَهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-samīʿuwahuwawal-arḍil-samāifīl-qawlayaʿlamurabbīqāla
He saidMy Lordknowsthe wordinthe heavensand the earthAnd He(is) the All-Hearerthe All-Knower
21:4
بَلْقَالُوٓا۟أَضْغَـٰثُأَحْلَـٰمٍۭبَلِٱفْتَرَىٰهُبَلْهُوَشَاعِرٌۭفَلْيَأْتِنَابِـَٔايَةٍۢكَمَآأُرْسِلَٱلْأَوَّلُونَ
l-awalūnaur'silakamābiāyatinfalyatināshāʿirunhuwabalif'tarāhubaliaḥlāminaḍghāthuqālūbal
Naythey sayMuddleddreamsnayhe (has) invented itnayhe(is) a poetSo let him bring usa signlike whatwas sent(to) the former
21:5
مَآءَامَنَتْقَبْلَهُممِّنقَرْيَةٍأَهْلَكْنَـٰهَآ ۖأَفَهُمْيُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnaafahumahlaknāhāqaryatinminqablahumāmanatmā
Notbelievedbefore themanytownwhich We destroyedso will theybelieve
21:6
وَمَآأَرْسَلْنَاقَبْلَكَإِلَّارِجَالًۭانُّوحِىٓإِلَيْهِمْ ۖفَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟أَهْلَٱلذِّكْرِإِنكُنتُمْلَاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalākuntuminl-dhik'riahlafasalūilayhimnūḥīrijālanillāqablakaarsalnāwamā
And notWe sentbefore youexceptmenWe revealedto themSo ask(the) people(of) the Reminderifyou(do) notknow
21:7
وَمَاجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْجَسَدًۭالَّايَأْكُلُونَٱلطَّعَامَوَمَاكَانُوا۟خَـٰلِدِينَ
khālidīnakānūwamāl-ṭaʿāmayakulūnalājasadanjaʿalnāhumwamā
And notWe made thembodiesnoteatingthe foodand notthey wereimmortals
21:8
ثُمَّصَدَقْنَـٰهُمُٱلْوَعْدَفَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُمْوَمَننَّشَآءُوَأَهْلَكْنَاٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
l-mus'rifīnawa-ahlaknānashāuwamanfa-anjaynāhuml-waʿdaṣadaqnāhumuthumma
ThenWe fulfilled (for) themthe promiseand We saved themand whomWe willedand We destroyedthe transgressors
21:9
لَقَدْأَنزَلْنَآإِلَيْكُمْكِتَـٰبًۭافِيهِذِكْرُكُمْ ۖأَفَلَاتَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūnaafalādhik'rukumfīhikitābanilaykumanzalnālaqad
IndeedWe (have) sent downto youa Bookin it(is) your mentionThen will notyou use reason
21:10
وَكَمْقَصَمْنَامِنقَرْيَةٍۢكَانَتْظَالِمَةًۭوَأَنشَأْنَابَعْدَهَاقَوْمًاءَاخَرِينَ
ākharīnaqawmanbaʿdahāwa-anshanāẓālimatankānatqaryatinminqaṣamnāwakam
And how manyWe (have) shatteredofa town(that) wasunjustand We producedafter themanother peopleanother people
21:11
فَلَمَّآأَحَسُّوا۟بَأْسَنَآإِذَاهُممِّنْهَايَرْكُضُونَ
yarkuḍūnamin'hāhumidhābasanāaḥassūfalammā
Then whenthey perceivedOur tormentbeholdtheyfrom itwere fleeing
21:12
لَاتَرْكُضُوا۟وَٱرْجِعُوٓا۟إِلَىٰمَآأُتْرِفْتُمْفِيهِوَمَسَـٰكِنِكُمْلَعَلَّكُمْتُسْـَٔلُونَ
tus'alūnalaʿallakumwamasākinikumfīhiut'rif'tummāilāwa-ir'jiʿūtarkuḍūlā
Flee notFlee notbut returntowhatyou were given luxuryin itand to your homesso that you maybe questioned
21:13
قَالُوا۟يَـٰوَيْلَنَآإِنَّاكُنَّاظَـٰلِمِينَ
ẓālimīnakunnāinnāyāwaylanāqālū
They saidO woe to usIndeed, [we]we werewrongdoers
21:14
فَمَازَالَتتِّلْكَدَعْوَىٰهُمْحَتَّىٰجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْحَصِيدًاخَـٰمِدِينَ
khāmidīnaḥaṣīdanjaʿalnāhumḥattādaʿwāhumtil'kazālatfamā
Then notceased[this]their cryuntilWe made themreapedextinct
21:15
وَمَاخَلَقْنَاٱلسَّمَآءَوَٱلْأَرْضَوَمَابَيْنَهُمَالَـٰعِبِينَ
lāʿibīnabaynahumāwamāwal-arḍal-samāakhalaqnāwamā
And notWe createdthe heavensand the earthand what(is) between them(for) playing
21:16
لَوْأَرَدْنَآأَننَّتَّخِذَلَهْوًۭالَّٱتَّخَذْنَـٰهُمِنلَّدُنَّآإِنكُنَّافَـٰعِلِينَ
fāʿilīnakunnāinladunnāminla-ittakhadhnāhulahwannattakhidhaanaradnālaw
IfWe intendedthatWe takea pastimesurely We (could have) taken itfromUsifWe weredoers
21:17
بَلْنَقْذِفُبِٱلْحَقِّعَلَىٱلْبَـٰطِلِفَيَدْمَغُهُۥفَإِذَاهُوَزَاهِقٌۭ ۚوَلَكُمُٱلْوَيْلُمِمَّاتَصِفُونَ
taṣifūnamimmāl-wayluwalakumuzāhiqunhuwafa-idhāfayadmaghuhul-bāṭiliʿalābil-ḥaqinaqdhifubal
NayWe hurlthe truthagainst[the] falsehoodand it breaks its headbeholdit (is)vanishingAnd for you(is) destructionfor whatyou ascribe
21:18
وَلَهُۥمَنفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚوَمَنْعِندَهُۥلَايَسْتَكْبِرُونَعَنْعِبَادَتِهِۦوَلَايَسْتَحْسِرُونَ
yastaḥsirūnawalāʿibādatihiʿanyastakbirūnalāʿindahuwamanwal-arḍil-samāwātifīmanwalahu
And to Him (belongs)whoever(is) inthe heavensand the earthAnd (those) who(are) near Himnotthey are arroganttoworship Himand notthey tire
21:19
يُسَبِّحُونَٱلَّيْلَوَٱلنَّهَارَلَايَفْتُرُونَ
yafturūnalāwal-nahāraal-laylayusabbiḥūna
They glorify (Him)[the] nightand [the] daynotthey slacken
21:20
أَمِٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ءَالِهَةًۭمِّنَٱلْأَرْضِهُمْيُنشِرُونَ
yunshirūnahuml-arḍiminaālihatanittakhadhūami
Or(have) they takengodsfromthe earththeyraise (the dead)
21:21
لَوْكَانَفِيهِمَآءَالِهَةٌإِلَّاٱللَّهُلَفَسَدَتَا ۚفَسُبْحَـٰنَٱللَّهِرَبِّٱلْعَرْشِعَمَّايَصِفُونَ
yaṣifūnaʿammāl-ʿarshirabbil-lahifasub'ḥānalafasadatāl-lahuillāālihatunfīhimākānalaw
If(there) werein both of themgodsbesidesAllahsurely they (would) have been ruinedSo glorified(is) AllahLord(of) the Throne(above) whatthey attribute
21:22
لَايُسْـَٔلُعَمَّايَفْعَلُوَهُمْيُسْـَٔلُونَ
yus'alūnawahumyafʿaluʿammāyus'alulā
NotHe (can) be questionedabout whatHe doesbut theywill be questioned
21:23
أَمِٱتَّخَذُوا۟مِندُونِهِۦٓءَالِهَةًۭ ۖقُلْهَاتُوا۟بُرْهَـٰنَكُمْ ۖهَـٰذَاذِكْرُمَنمَّعِىَوَذِكْرُمَنقَبْلِى ۗبَلْأَكْثَرُهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَٱلْحَقَّ ۖفَهُممُّعْرِضُونَ
muʿ'riḍūnafahuml-ḥaqayaʿlamūnalāaktharuhumbalqablīmanwadhik'rumaʿiyamandhik'ruhādhābur'hānakumhātūqulālihatandūnihiminittakhadhūami
Or(have) they takenbesides Himbesides HimgodsSayBringyour proofThis(is) a Reminder(for those) who(are) with meand a Reminder(for those) who(were) before meButmost of them(do) notknowthe truthso they(are) averse
21:24
وَمَآأَرْسَلْنَامِنقَبْلِكَمِنرَّسُولٍإِلَّانُوحِىٓإِلَيْهِأَنَّهُۥلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّآأَنَا۠فَٱعْبُدُونِ
fa-uʿ'budūnianāillāilāhalāannahuilayhinūḥīillārasūlinminqablikaminarsalnāwamā
And notWe sentbefore youbefore youanyMessengerbutWe reveal(ed)to himthat [He](There is) nogodexceptMeso worship Me
21:25
وَقَالُوا۟ٱتَّخَذَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُوَلَدًۭا ۗسُبْحَـٰنَهُۥ ۚبَلْعِبَادٌۭمُّكْرَمُونَ
muk'ramūnaʿibādunbalsub'ḥānahuwaladanl-raḥmānuittakhadhawaqālū
And they sayHas takenthe Most Graciousa sonGlorified is HeNay(they are) slaveshonored
21:26
لَايَسْبِقُونَهُۥبِٱلْقَوْلِوَهُمبِأَمْرِهِۦيَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnabi-amrihiwahumbil-qawliyasbiqūnahulā
Notthey (can) precede Himin wordand theyby His commandact
21:27
يَعْلَمُمَابَيْنَأَيْدِيهِمْوَمَاخَلْفَهُمْوَلَايَشْفَعُونَإِلَّالِمَنِٱرْتَضَىٰوَهُممِّنْخَشْيَتِهِۦمُشْفِقُونَ
mush'fiqūnakhashyatihiminwahumir'taḍālimaniillāyashfaʿūnawalākhalfahumwamāaydīhimbaynamāyaʿlamu
He knowswhat(is) before them(is) before themand what(is) behind themand notthey (can) intercedeexceptfor whomHe approvesAnd theyfromfear of Himstand in awe
21:28
۞ وَمَنيَقُلْمِنْهُمْإِنِّىٓإِلَـٰهٌۭمِّندُونِهِۦفَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِيهِجَهَنَّمَ ۚكَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِىٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnanajzīkadhālikajahannamanajzīhifadhālikadūnihiminilāhuninnīmin'humyaqulwaman
And whoeversaysof themIndeed, I ama godbesides Himbesides HimThen thatWe will recompense(with) HellThusWe recompensethe wrongdoers
21:29
أَوَلَمْيَرَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟أَنَّٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَكَانَتَارَتْقًۭافَفَتَقْنَـٰهُمَا ۖوَجَعَلْنَامِنَٱلْمَآءِكُلَّشَىْءٍحَىٍّ ۖأَفَلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnaafalāḥayyinshayinkullal-māiminawajaʿalnāfafataqnāhumāratqankānatāwal-arḍal-samāwātiannakafarūalladhīnayaraawalam
Do notseethose whodisbelievedthatthe heavensand the earthwerea joined entitythen We parted themand We madefrom[the] watereveryliving thingliving thingThen will notthey believe
21:30
وَجَعَلْنَافِىٱلْأَرْضِرَوَٰسِىَأَنتَمِيدَبِهِمْوَجَعَلْنَافِيهَافِجَاجًۭاسُبُلًۭالَّعَلَّهُمْيَهْتَدُونَ
yahtadūnalaʿallahumsubulanfijājanfīhāwajaʿalnābihimtamīdaanrawāsiyal-arḍifīwajaʿalnā
And We (have) placedinthe earthfirmly set mountainslestit (should) shakewith themand We madethereinbroad passes(as) waysso that they may(be) guided
21:31
وَجَعَلْنَاٱلسَّمَآءَسَقْفًۭامَّحْفُوظًۭا ۖوَهُمْعَنْءَايَـٰتِهَامُعْرِضُونَ
muʿ'riḍūnaāyātihāʿanwahummaḥfūẓansaqfanl-samāawajaʿalnā
And We madethe skya roofprotectedBut theyfromits Signsturn away
21:32
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلَّيْلَوَٱلنَّهَارَوَٱلشَّمْسَوَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖكُلٌّۭفِىفَلَكٍۢيَسْبَحُونَ
yasbaḥūnafalakinfīkullunwal-qamarawal-shamsawal-nahāraal-laylakhalaqaalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whocreatedthe nightand the dayand the sunand the mooneachinan orbitfloating
21:33
وَمَاجَعَلْنَالِبَشَرٍۢمِّنقَبْلِكَٱلْخُلْدَ ۖأَفَإِي۟نمِّتَّفَهُمُٱلْخَـٰلِدُونَ
l-khālidūnafahumumittaafa-inl-khul'daqablikaminlibasharinjaʿalnāwamā
And notWe madefor any manbefore youbefore you[the] immortalityso ifyou diethen (would) theylive forever
21:34
كُلُّنَفْسٍۢذَآئِقَةُٱلْمَوْتِ ۗوَنَبْلُوكُمبِٱلشَّرِّوَٱلْخَيْرِفِتْنَةًۭ ۖوَإِلَيْنَاتُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūnawa-ilaynāfit'natanwal-khayribil-shariwanablūkuml-mawtidhāiqatunafsinkullu
Everysoul(will) taste[the] deathAnd We test youwith [the] badand [the] good(as) a trialand to Usyou will be returned
21:35
وَإِذَارَءَاكَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟إِنيَتَّخِذُونَكَإِلَّاهُزُوًاأَهَـٰذَاٱلَّذِىيَذْكُرُءَالِهَتَكُمْوَهُمبِذِكْرِٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِهُمْكَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūnahuml-raḥmānibidhik'riwahumālihatakumyadhkurualladhīahādhāhuzuwanillāyattakhidhūnakainkafarūalladhīnaraākawa-idhā
And whenthey see youthose whodisbelievenotthey take youexcept(in) ridiculeIs thisthe one whomentionsyour godsAnd theyat (the) mention(of) the Most Gracious[they](are) disbelievers
21:36
خُلِقَٱلْإِنسَـٰنُمِنْعَجَلٍۢ ۚسَأُو۟رِيكُمْءَايَـٰتِىفَلَاتَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
tastaʿjilūnifalāāyātīsa-urīkumʿajalinminl-insānukhuliqa
Is createdthe manofhasteI will show youMy Signsso (do) notask Me to hasten
21:37
وَيَقُولُونَمَتَىٰهَـٰذَاٱلْوَعْدُإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntuminl-waʿduhādhāmatāwayaqūlūna
And they sayWhen (will be fulfilled)thispromiseifyou aretruthful
21:38
لَوْيَعْلَمُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟حِينَلَايَكُفُّونَعَنوُجُوهِهِمُٱلنَّارَوَلَاعَنظُهُورِهِمْوَلَاهُمْيُنصَرُونَ
yunṣarūnahumwalāẓuhūrihimʿanwalāl-nārawujūhihimuʿanyakuffūnalāḥīnakafarūalladhīnayaʿlamulaw
Ifknewthose whodisbelieved(the) time(when) notthey will avertfromtheir facesthe Fireand notfromtheir backsand nottheywill be helped
21:39
بَلْتَأْتِيهِمبَغْتَةًۭفَتَبْهَتُهُمْفَلَايَسْتَطِيعُونَرَدَّهَاوَلَاهُمْيُنظَرُونَ
yunẓarūnahumwalāraddahāyastaṭīʿūnafalāfatabhatuhumbaghtatantatīhimbal
Nayit will come to themunexpectedlyand bewilder themthen notthey will be ableto repel itand nottheywill be given respite
21:40
وَلَقَدِٱسْتُهْزِئَبِرُسُلٍۢمِّنقَبْلِكَفَحَاقَبِٱلَّذِينَسَخِرُوا۟مِنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
yastahziūnabihikānūmāmin'humsakhirūbi-alladhīnafaḥāqaqablikaminbirusulinus'tuh'zi-awalaqadi
And verilywere mockedMessengersbefore youbefore youthen surroundedthose whomockedfrom themwhatthey usedat it(to) mock
21:41
قُلْمَنيَكْلَؤُكُمبِٱلَّيْلِوَٱلنَّهَارِمِنَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۗبَلْهُمْعَنذِكْرِرَبِّهِممُّعْرِضُونَ
muʿ'riḍūnarabbihimdhik'riʿanhumball-raḥmāniminawal-nahāribi-al-layliyakla-ukummanqul
SayWho(can) protect youin the nightand the dayfromthe Most GraciousYettheyfrom(the) remembrance(of) their Lordturn away
21:42
أَمْلَهُمْءَالِهَةٌۭتَمْنَعُهُممِّندُونِنَا ۚلَايَسْتَطِيعُونَنَصْرَأَنفُسِهِمْوَلَاهُممِّنَّايُصْحَبُونَ
yuṣ'ḥabūnaminnāhumwalāanfusihimnaṣrayastaṭīʿūnalādūnināmintamnaʿuhumālihatunlahumam
Orhave theygods(to) defend themfromUsNotthey are able(to) helpthemselvesand nottheyfrom Uscan be protected
21:43
بَلْمَتَّعْنَاهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِوَءَابَآءَهُمْحَتَّىٰطَالَعَلَيْهِمُٱلْعُمُرُ ۗأَفَلَايَرَوْنَأَنَّانَأْتِىٱلْأَرْضَنَنقُصُهَامِنْأَطْرَافِهَآ ۚأَفَهُمُٱلْغَـٰلِبُونَ
l-ghālibūnaafahumuaṭrāfihāminnanquṣuhāl-arḍanatīannāyarawnaafalāl-ʿumuruʿalayhimuṭālaḥattāwaābāahumhāulāimattaʿnābal
NayWe gave provision(to) theseand their fathersuntilgrew longfor themthe lifeThen do notthey seethat WeWe come(to) the landWe reduce itfromits bordersSo is (it) they(who will be) overcoming
21:44
قُلْإِنَّمَآأُنذِرُكُمبِٱلْوَحْىِ ۚوَلَايَسْمَعُٱلصُّمُّٱلدُّعَآءَإِذَامَايُنذَرُونَ
yundharūnamāidhāl-duʿāal-ṣumuyasmaʿuwalābil-waḥyiundhirukuminnamāqul
SayOnlyI warn youby the revelationBut nothearthe deafthe callwhenwhenthey are warned
21:45
وَلَئِنمَّسَّتْهُمْنَفْحَةٌۭمِّنْعَذَابِرَبِّكَلَيَقُولُنَّيَـٰوَيْلَنَآإِنَّاكُنَّاظَـٰلِمِينَ
ẓālimīnakunnāinnāyāwaylanālayaqūlunnarabbikaʿadhābiminnafḥatunmassathumwala-in
And iftouches thema whiffof(the) punishment(of) your Lordsurely they will sayO woe to usIndeed, we[we] werewrongdoers
21:46
وَنَضَعُٱلْمَوَٰزِينَٱلْقِسْطَلِيَوْمِٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِفَلَاتُظْلَمُنَفْسٌۭشَيْـًۭٔا ۖوَإِنكَانَمِثْقَالَحَبَّةٍۢمِّنْخَرْدَلٍأَتَيْنَابِهَا ۗوَكَفَىٰبِنَاحَـٰسِبِينَ
ḥāsibīnabināwakafābihāataynākhardalinminḥabbatinmith'qālakānawa-inshayannafsuntuẓ'lamufalāl-qiyāmatiliyawmil-qis'ṭal-mawāzīnawanaḍaʿu
And We setthe scales(of) the justicefor (the) Day(of) the Resurrectionso notwill be wrongedany soul(in) anythingAnd if(there) beweight(of) a seedofa mustardWe will bring[with] itAnd sufficient(are) We(as) Reckoners
21:47
وَلَقَدْءَاتَيْنَامُوسَىٰوَهَـٰرُونَٱلْفُرْقَانَوَضِيَآءًۭوَذِكْرًۭالِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
lil'muttaqīnawadhik'ranwaḍiyāanl-fur'qānawahārūnamūsāātaynāwalaqad
And verilyWe gaveMusaand Harunthe Criterionand a lightand a Reminderfor the righteous
21:48
ٱلَّذِينَيَخْشَوْنَرَبَّهُمبِٱلْغَيْبِوَهُممِّنَٱلسَّاعَةِمُشْفِقُونَ
mush'fiqūnal-sāʿatiminawahumbil-ghaybirabbahumyakhshawnaalladhīna
Those whofeartheir Lordin the unseenand theyofthe Hour(are) afraid
21:49
وَهَـٰذَاذِكْرٌۭمُّبَارَكٌأَنزَلْنَـٰهُ ۚأَفَأَنتُمْلَهُۥمُنكِرُونَ
munkirūnalahuafa-antumanzalnāhumubārakundhik'runwahādhā
And this(is) a Reminderblessedwhich We (have) revealedThen are youof itrejecters
21:50
۞ وَلَقَدْءَاتَيْنَآإِبْرَٰهِيمَرُشْدَهُۥمِنقَبْلُوَكُنَّابِهِۦعَـٰلِمِينَ
ʿālimīnabihiwakunnāqabluminrush'dahuib'rāhīmaātaynāwalaqad
And verilyWe gaveIbrahimhis guidancebeforebeforeand We wereabout himWell-Knowing
21:51
إِذْقَالَلِأَبِيهِوَقَوْمِهِۦمَاهَـٰذِهِٱلتَّمَاثِيلُٱلَّتِىٓأَنتُمْلَهَاعَـٰكِفُونَ
ʿākifūnalahāantumallatīl-tamāthīluhādhihimāwaqawmihili-abīhiqālaidh
Whenhe saidto his fatherand his peopleWhat(are) these[the] statueswhichyouto it(are) devoted
21:52
قَالُوا۟وَجَدْنَآءَابَآءَنَالَهَاعَـٰبِدِينَ
ʿābidīnalahāābāanāwajadnāqālū
They saidWe foundour forefathersof themworshippers
21:53
قَالَلَقَدْكُنتُمْأَنتُمْوَءَابَآؤُكُمْفِىضَلَـٰلٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninḍalālinfīwaābāukumantumkuntumlaqadqāla
He saidVerilyyou are[you]and your forefathers(were) inan errormanifest
21:54
قَالُوٓا۟أَجِئْتَنَابِٱلْحَقِّأَمْأَنتَمِنَٱللَّـٰعِبِينَ
l-lāʿibīnaminaantaambil-ḥaqiaji'tanāqālū
They saidHave you come to uswith the truthoryou(are) ofthose who play
21:55
قَالَبَلرَّبُّكُمْرَبُّٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِٱلَّذِىفَطَرَهُنَّوَأَنَا۠عَلَىٰذَٰلِكُممِّنَٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ
l-shāhidīnaminadhālikumʿalāwa-anāfaṭarahunnaalladhīwal-arḍil-samāwātirabburabbukumbalqāla
He saidNayyour Lord(is the) Lord(of) the heavensand the earththe One Whocreated themand I amtothatofthe witnesses
21:56
وَتَٱللَّهِلَأَكِيدَنَّأَصْنَـٰمَكُمبَعْدَأَنتُوَلُّوا۟مُدْبِرِينَ
mud'birīnatuwallūanbaʿdaaṣnāmakumla-akīdannawatal-lahi
And by Allahsurely, I will plan(against) your idolsafter[that]you go awayturning (your) backs
21:57
فَجَعَلَهُمْجُذَٰذًاإِلَّاكَبِيرًۭالَّهُمْلَعَلَّهُمْإِلَيْهِيَرْجِعُونَ
yarjiʿūnailayhilaʿallahumlahumkabīranillājudhādhanfajaʿalahum
So he made them(into) piecesexcepta large (one)of themso that they mayto itreturn
21:58
قَالُوا۟مَنفَعَلَهَـٰذَابِـَٔالِهَتِنَآإِنَّهُۥلَمِنَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnalaminainnahubiālihatināhādhāfaʿalamanqālū
They saidWho(has) donethisto our godsIndeed, he(is) ofthe wrongdoers
21:59
قَالُوا۟سَمِعْنَافَتًۭىيَذْكُرُهُمْيُقَالُلَهُۥٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ
ib'rāhīmulahuyuqāluyadhkuruhumfatansamiʿ'nāqālū
They saidWe hearda youthmention themhe is calledhe is calledIbrahim
21:60
قَالُوا۟فَأْتُوا۟بِهِۦعَلَىٰٓأَعْيُنِٱلنَّاسِلَعَلَّهُمْيَشْهَدُونَ
yashhadūnalaʿallahuml-nāsiaʿyuniʿalābihifatūqālū
They saidThen bringhimbefore(the) eyes(of) the peopleso that they maybear witness
21:61
قَالُوٓا۟ءَأَنتَفَعَلْتَهَـٰذَابِـَٔالِهَتِنَايَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ
yāib'rāhīmubiālihatināhādhāfaʿaltaa-antaqālū
They saidHave youdonethisto our godsO Ibrahim
21:62
قَالَبَلْفَعَلَهُۥكَبِيرُهُمْهَـٰذَافَسْـَٔلُوهُمْإِنكَانُوا۟يَنطِقُونَ
yanṭiqūnakānūinfasalūhumhādhākabīruhumfaʿalahubalqāla
He saidNay(some doer) did itTheir chief(is) thisSo ask themifthey (can)speak
21:63
فَرَجَعُوٓا۟إِلَىٰٓأَنفُسِهِمْفَقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّكُمْأَنتُمُٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
l-ẓālimūnaantumuinnakumfaqālūanfusihimilāfarajaʿū
So they returnedtothemselvesand saidIndeed, you[you](are) the wrongdoers
21:64
ثُمَّنُكِسُوا۟عَلَىٰرُءُوسِهِمْلَقَدْعَلِمْتَمَاهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِيَنطِقُونَ
yanṭiqūnahāulāimāʿalim'talaqadruūsihimʿalānukisūthumma
Thenthey were turnedontheir headsVerilyyou knownotthese(can) speak
21:65
قَالَأَفَتَعْبُدُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِمَالَايَنفَعُكُمْشَيْـًۭٔاوَلَايَضُرُّكُمْ
yaḍurrukumwalāshayanyanfaʿukumlāmāl-lahidūniminafataʿbudūnaqāla
He saidThen do you worshipbesidesbesidesAllahwhat(does) notbenefit you(in) anythingand notharms you
21:66
أُفٍّۢلَّكُمْوَلِمَاتَعْبُدُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِ ۖأَفَلَاتَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūnaafalāl-lahidūnimintaʿbudūnawalimālakumuffin
Uffto youand to whatyou worshipbesidesbesidesAllahThen will notyou use reason
21:67
قَالُوا۟حَرِّقُوهُوَٱنصُرُوٓا۟ءَالِهَتَكُمْإِنكُنتُمْفَـٰعِلِينَ
fāʿilīnakuntuminālihatakumwa-unṣurūḥarriqūhuqālū
They saidBurn himand supportyour godsifyou aredoers
21:68
قُلْنَايَـٰنَارُكُونِىبَرْدًۭاوَسَلَـٰمًاعَلَىٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rāhīmaʿalāwasalāmanbardankūnīyānāruqul'nā
We saidO fireBecool[ness]and safe[ty]forIbrahim
21:69
وَأَرَادُوا۟بِهِۦكَيْدًۭافَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمُٱلْأَخْسَرِينَ
l-akhsarīnafajaʿalnāhumukaydanbihiwa-arādū
And they intendedfor hima planbut We made themthe greatest losers
21:70
وَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُوَلُوطًاإِلَىٱلْأَرْضِٱلَّتِىبَـٰرَكْنَافِيهَالِلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
lil'ʿālamīnafīhābāraknāallatīl-arḍiilāwalūṭanwanajjaynāhu
And We delivered himand Luttothe landwhichWe (had) blessed[in it]for the worlds
21:71
وَوَهَبْنَالَهُۥٓإِسْحَـٰقَوَيَعْقُوبَنَافِلَةًۭ ۖوَكُلًّۭاجَعَلْنَاصَـٰلِحِينَ
ṣāliḥīnajaʿalnāwakullannāfilatanwayaʿqūbais'ḥāqalahuwawahabnā
And We bestowedon himIsaacand Yaqub(in) additionand allWe maderighteous
21:72
وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْأَئِمَّةًۭيَهْدُونَبِأَمْرِنَاوَأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَيْهِمْفِعْلَٱلْخَيْرَٰتِوَإِقَامَٱلصَّلَوٰةِوَإِيتَآءَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ ۖوَكَانُوا۟لَنَاعَـٰبِدِينَ
ʿābidīnalanāwakānūl-zakatiwaītāal-ṣalatiwa-iqāmal-khayrātifiʿ'lailayhimwa-awḥaynābi-amrināyahdūnaa-immatanwajaʿalnāhum
And We made themleadersthey guideby Our CommandAnd We inspiredto them(the) doing(of) good deedsand establishment(of) the prayerand giving(of) zakahand they wereof Usworshippers
21:73
وَلُوطًاءَاتَيْنَـٰهُحُكْمًۭاوَعِلْمًۭاوَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُمِنَٱلْقَرْيَةِٱلَّتِىكَانَتتَّعْمَلُٱلْخَبَـٰٓئِثَ ۗإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟قَوْمَسَوْءٍۢفَـٰسِقِينَ
fāsiqīnasawinqawmakānūinnahuml-khabāithataʿmalukānatallatīl-qaryatiminawanajjaynāhuwaʿil'manḥuk'manātaynāhuwalūṭan
And (to) LutWe gave himjudgmentand knowledgeand We saved himfromthe townwhichwasdoingwicked deedsIndeed, theywerea peopleevildefiantly disobedient
21:74
وَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُفِىرَحْمَتِنَآ ۖإِنَّهُۥمِنَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
l-ṣāliḥīnaminainnahuraḥmatināfīwa-adkhalnāhu
And We admitted himintoOur MercyIndeed, he(was) ofthe righteous
21:75
وَنُوحًاإِذْنَادَىٰمِنقَبْلُفَٱسْتَجَبْنَالَهُۥفَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُوَأَهْلَهُۥمِنَٱلْكَرْبِٱلْعَظِيمِ
l-ʿaẓīmil-karbiminawa-ahlahufanajjaynāhulahufa-is'tajabnāqabluminnādāidhwanūḥan
And Nuhwhenhe calledbeforebeforeso We respondedto himand We saved himand his familyfromthe affliction[the] great
21:76
وَنَصَرْنَـٰهُمِنَٱلْقَوْمِٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۚإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟قَوْمَسَوْءٍۢفَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْأَجْمَعِينَ
ajmaʿīnafa-aghraqnāhumsawinqawmakānūinnahumbiāyātinākadhabūalladhīnal-qawmiminawanaṣarnāhu
And We helped himfromthe peoplewhodeniedOur SignsIndeed, theywerea peopleevilso We drowned themall
21:77
وَدَاوُۥدَوَسُلَيْمَـٰنَإِذْيَحْكُمَانِفِىٱلْحَرْثِإِذْنَفَشَتْفِيهِغَنَمُٱلْقَوْمِوَكُنَّالِحُكْمِهِمْشَـٰهِدِينَ
shāhidīnaliḥuk'mihimwakunnāl-qawmighanamufīhinafashatidhl-ḥarthifīyaḥkumāniidhwasulaymānawadāwūda
And Dawudand Sulaimanwhenthey judgedconcerningthe fieldwhenpasturedin itsheep(of) a peopleand We wereto their judgmentwitness
21:78
فَفَهَّمْنَـٰهَاسُلَيْمَـٰنَ ۚوَكُلًّاءَاتَيْنَاحُكْمًۭاوَعِلْمًۭا ۚوَسَخَّرْنَامَعَدَاوُۥدَٱلْجِبَالَيُسَبِّحْنَوَٱلطَّيْرَ ۚوَكُنَّافَـٰعِلِينَ
fāʿilīnawakunnāwal-ṭayrayusabbiḥ'nal-jibāladāwūdamaʿawasakharnāwaʿil'manḥuk'manātaynāwakullansulaymānafafahhamnāhā
And We gave understanding of it(to) Sulaimanand (to) eachWe gavejudgmentand knowledgeAnd We subjectedwithDawudthe mountains(to) glorify Our praisesand the birdsAnd We werethe Doers
21:79
وَعَلَّمْنَـٰهُصَنْعَةَلَبُوسٍۢلَّكُمْلِتُحْصِنَكُممِّنۢبَأْسِكُمْ ۖفَهَلْأَنتُمْشَـٰكِرُونَ
shākirūnaantumfahalbasikumminlituḥ'ṣinakumlakumlabūsinṣanʿatawaʿallamnāhu
And We taught him(the) making(of) coats of armorfor youto protect youfromyour battleThen willyou(be) grateful
21:80
وَلِسُلَيْمَـٰنَٱلرِّيحَعَاصِفَةًۭتَجْرِىبِأَمْرِهِۦٓإِلَىٱلْأَرْضِٱلَّتِىبَـٰرَكْنَافِيهَا ۚوَكُنَّابِكُلِّشَىْءٍعَـٰلِمِينَ
ʿālimīnashayinbikulliwakunnāfīhābāraknāallatīl-arḍiilābi-amrihitajrīʿāṣifatanl-rīḥawalisulaymāna
And to Sulaimanthe windforcefullyblowingby his commandtothe landwhichWe blessed[in it]And We areof everythingKnowers
21:81
وَمِنَٱلشَّيَـٰطِينِمَنيَغُوصُونَلَهُۥوَيَعْمَلُونَعَمَلًۭادُونَذَٰلِكَ ۖوَكُنَّالَهُمْحَـٰفِظِينَ
ḥāfiẓīnalahumwakunnādhālikadūnaʿamalanwayaʿmalūnalahuyaghūṣūnamanl-shayāṭīniwamina
And ofthe devils(were some) whowould divefor himand would doworkother thanthatAnd We wereof themGuardians
21:82
۞ وَأَيُّوبَإِذْنَادَىٰرَبَّهُۥٓأَنِّىمَسَّنِىَٱلضُّرُّوَأَنتَأَرْحَمُٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
l-rāḥimīnaarḥamuwa-antal-ḍurumassaniyaannīrabbahunādāidhwa-ayyūba
And Ayubwhenhe called(to) his LordIndeed, [I]has touched methe adversityand You(are) Most Merciful(of) the Merciful
21:83
فَٱسْتَجَبْنَالَهُۥفَكَشَفْنَامَابِهِۦمِنضُرٍّۢ ۖوَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُأَهْلَهُۥوَمِثْلَهُممَّعَهُمْرَحْمَةًۭمِّنْعِندِنَاوَذِكْرَىٰلِلْعَـٰبِدِينَ
lil'ʿābidīnawadhik'rāʿindināminraḥmatanmaʿahumwamith'lahumahlahuwaātaynāhuḍurrinminbihimāfakashafnālahufa-is'tajabnā
So We respondedto himand We removedwhat(was) on himof(the) adversityAnd We gave himhis familyand (the) like thereofwith them(as) Mercyfrom Ourselvesfrom Ourselvesand a reminderfor the worshippers
21:84
وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَوَإِدْرِيسَوَذَاٱلْكِفْلِ ۖكُلٌّۭمِّنَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ
l-ṣābirīnaminakullunl-kif'liwadhāwa-id'rīsawa-is'māʿīla
And Ishmaeland Idrisand Dhul-Kifland Dhul-Kiflall(were) ofthe patient ones
21:85
وَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْفِىرَحْمَتِنَآ ۖإِنَّهُممِّنَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
l-ṣāliḥīnaminainnahumraḥmatināfīwa-adkhalnāhum
And We admitted theminOur MercyIndeed, they(were) ofthe righteous
21:86
وَذَاٱلنُّونِإِذذَّهَبَمُغَـٰضِبًۭافَظَنَّأَنلَّننَّقْدِرَعَلَيْهِفَنَادَىٰفِىٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِأَنلَّآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّآأَنتَسُبْحَـٰنَكَإِنِّىكُنتُمِنَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnaminakuntuinnīsub'ḥānakaantaillāilāhalāanl-ẓulumātifīfanādāʿalayhinaqdiralananfaẓannamughāḍibandhahabaidhl-nūniwadhā
And Dhun-NunAnd Dhun-Nunwhenhe went(while) angryand thoughtthatneverWe would decreeupon himThen he calledinthe darkness(es)that(There is) nogodexceptYouGlory be to YouIndeed, [I]I amofthe wrongdoers
21:87
فَٱسْتَجَبْنَالَهُۥوَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُمِنَٱلْغَمِّ ۚوَكَذَٰلِكَنُـۨجِىٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīnanunjīwakadhālikal-ghamiminawanajjaynāhulahufa-is'tajabnā
So We respondedto himand We saved himfromthe distressAnd thusWe savethe believers
21:88
وَزَكَرِيَّآإِذْنَادَىٰرَبَّهُۥرَبِّلَاتَذَرْنِىفَرْدًۭاوَأَنتَخَيْرُٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ
l-wārithīnakhayruwa-antafardantadharnīlārabbirabbahunādāidhwazakariyyā
And Zakariyawhenhe called(to) his LordMy Lord(Do) notleave mealonewhile You(are) [the] Best(of) the inheritors
21:89
فَٱسْتَجَبْنَالَهُۥوَوَهَبْنَالَهُۥيَحْيَىٰوَأَصْلَحْنَالَهُۥزَوْجَهُۥٓ ۚإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟يُسَـٰرِعُونَفِىٱلْخَيْرَٰتِوَيَدْعُونَنَارَغَبًۭاوَرَهَبًۭا ۖوَكَانُوا۟لَنَاخَـٰشِعِينَ
khāshiʿīnalanāwakānūwarahabanraghabanwayadʿūnanāl-khayrātifīyusāriʿūnakānūinnahumzawjahulahuwa-aṣlaḥnāyaḥyālahuwawahabnālahufa-is'tajabnā
So We respondedto himand We bestowedon himYahyaand We curedfor himhis wifeIndeed, theyused (to)hasteningood deedsand they supplicate to Us(in) hopeand fearand they wereto Ushumbly submissive
21:90
وَٱلَّتِىٓأَحْصَنَتْفَرْجَهَافَنَفَخْنَافِيهَامِنرُّوحِنَاوَجَعَلْنَـٰهَاوَٱبْنَهَآءَايَةًۭلِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
lil'ʿālamīnaāyatanwa-ib'nahāwajaʿalnāhārūḥināminfīhāfanafakhnāfarjahāaḥṣanatwa-allatī
And she whoguardedher chastityso We breathedinto herofOur Spiritand We made herand her sona signfor the worlds
21:91
إِنَّهَـٰذِهِۦٓأُمَّتُكُمْأُمَّةًۭوَٰحِدَةًۭوَأَنَا۠رَبُّكُمْفَٱعْبُدُونِ
fa-uʿ'budūnirabbukumwa-anāwāḥidatanummatanummatukumhādhihiinna
Indeedthis(is) your religion religiononeand I Amyour Lordso worship Me
21:92
وَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟أَمْرَهُمبَيْنَهُمْ ۖكُلٌّإِلَيْنَارَٰجِعُونَ
rājiʿūnailaynākullunbaynahumamrahumwataqaṭṭaʿū
But they cut offtheir affairamong themselvesallto Us(will) return
21:93
فَمَنيَعْمَلْمِنَٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِوَهُوَمُؤْمِنٌۭفَلَاكُفْرَانَلِسَعْيِهِۦوَإِنَّالَهُۥكَـٰتِبُونَ
kātibūnalahuwa-innālisaʿyihikuf'rānafalāmu'minunwahuwal-ṣāliḥātiminayaʿmalfaman
Then whoeverdoes[of][the] righteous deedswhile he(is) a believerthen not(will be) rejected[of] his effortAnd indeed, Weof it(are) Recorders
21:94
وَحَرَٰمٌعَلَىٰقَرْيَةٍأَهْلَكْنَـٰهَآأَنَّهُمْلَايَرْجِعُونَ
yarjiʿūnalāannahumahlaknāhāqaryatinʿalāwaḥarāmun
And (there is) prohibitionupona citywhich We have destroyedthat theynotwill return
21:95
حَتَّىٰٓإِذَافُتِحَتْيَأْجُوجُوَمَأْجُوجُوَهُممِّنكُلِّحَدَبٍۢيَنسِلُونَ
yansilūnaḥadabinkulliminwahumwamajūjuyajūjufutiḥatidhāḥattā
Untilwhenhas been opened(for) the Yajujand Majujand theyfromeveryelevationdescend
21:96
وَٱقْتَرَبَٱلْوَعْدُٱلْحَقُّفَإِذَاهِىَشَـٰخِصَةٌأَبْصَـٰرُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟يَـٰوَيْلَنَاقَدْكُنَّافِىغَفْلَةٍۢمِّنْهَـٰذَابَلْكُنَّاظَـٰلِمِينَ
ẓālimīnakunnābalhādhāminghaflatinfīkunnāqadyāwaylanākafarūalladhīnaabṣārushākhiṣatunhiyafa-idhāl-ḥaqul-waʿduwa-iq'taraba
And has approachedthe promise[the] truethen behold[it](are) staring(the) eyes(of) those whodisbelievedO woe to usVerilywe had beeninheedlessnessofthisnaywe werewrongdoers
21:97
إِنَّكُمْوَمَاتَعْبُدُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِحَصَبُجَهَنَّمَأَنتُمْلَهَاوَٰرِدُونَ
wāridūnalahāantumjahannamaḥaṣabul-lahidūnimintaʿbudūnawamāinnakum
Indeed, youand whatyou worshipbesides Allahbesides Allahbesides Allah(are) firewood(of) HellYouto itwill come
21:98
لَوْكَانَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِءَالِهَةًۭمَّاوَرَدُوهَا ۖوَكُلٌّۭفِيهَاخَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūnafīhāwakullunwaradūhāmāālihatanhāulāikānalaw
Ifwerethesegodsnotthey (would) have come to itAnd allthereinwill abide forever
21:99
لَهُمْفِيهَازَفِيرٌۭوَهُمْفِيهَالَايَسْمَعُونَ
yasmaʿūnalāfīhāwahumzafīrunfīhālahum
For themtherein(is) sighingand theythereinnotwill hear
21:100
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَسَبَقَتْلَهُممِّنَّاٱلْحُسْنَىٰٓأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَعَنْهَامُبْعَدُونَ
mub'ʿadūnaʿanhāulāikal-ḥus'nāminnālahumsabaqatalladhīnainna
Indeedthosehas gone forthfor themfrom Usthe goodthosefrom it(will be) removed far
21:101
لَايَسْمَعُونَحَسِيسَهَا ۖوَهُمْفِىمَاٱشْتَهَتْأَنفُسُهُمْخَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūnaanfusuhumish'tahatmāfīwahumḥasīsahāyasmaʿūnalā
Notthey will hear(the) slightest sound of itand theyinwhatdesiretheir soulswill abide forever
21:102
لَايَحْزُنُهُمُٱلْفَزَعُٱلْأَكْبَرُوَتَتَلَقَّىٰهُمُٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُهَـٰذَايَوْمُكُمُٱلَّذِىكُنتُمْتُوعَدُونَ
tūʿadūnakuntumalladhīyawmukumuhādhāl-malāikatuwatatalaqqāhumul-akbarul-fazaʿuyaḥzunuhumulā
Notwill grieve themthe terror[the] greatestand will meet themthe AngelsThis(is) your Daywhichyou werepromised
21:103
يَوْمَنَطْوِىٱلسَّمَآءَكَطَىِّٱلسِّجِلِّلِلْكُتُبِ ۚكَمَابَدَأْنَآأَوَّلَخَلْقٍۢنُّعِيدُهُۥ ۚوَعْدًاعَلَيْنَآ ۚإِنَّاكُنَّافَـٰعِلِينَ
fāʿilīnakunnāinnāʿalaynāwaʿdannuʿīduhukhalqinawwalabadanākamālil'kutubil-sijilikaṭayyil-samāanaṭwīyawma
(The) DayWe will foldthe heavenlike (the) folding(of) a scrollfor recordsAsWe began(the) firstcreationWe will repeat ita promiseupon UsIndeed, We We are(the) Doers
21:104
وَلَقَدْكَتَبْنَافِىٱلزَّبُورِمِنۢبَعْدِٱلذِّكْرِأَنَّٱلْأَرْضَيَرِثُهَاعِبَادِىَٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ
l-ṣāliḥūnaʿibādiyayarithuhāl-arḍaannal-dhik'ribaʿdiminl-zabūrifīkatabnāwalaqad
And verilyWe have writteninthe Scriptureafterafterthe mentionthatthe earth will inherit itMy slavesthe righteous
21:105
إِنَّفِىهَـٰذَالَبَلَـٰغًۭالِّقَوْمٍعَـٰبِدِينَ
ʿābidīnaliqawminlabalāghanhādhāfīinna
Indeedinthissurely is a Messagefor a peopleworshippers
21:106
وَمَآأَرْسَلْنَـٰكَإِلَّارَحْمَةًۭلِّلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
lil'ʿālamīnaraḥmatanillāarsalnākawamā
And notWe have sent youbut(as) a mercyfor the worlds
21:107
قُلْإِنَّمَايُوحَىٰٓإِلَىَّأَنَّمَآإِلَـٰهُكُمْإِلَـٰهٌۭوَٰحِدٌۭ ۖفَهَلْأَنتُممُّسْلِمُونَ
mus'limūnaantumfahalwāḥidunilāhunilāhukumannamāilayyayūḥāinnamāqul
SayOnlyit is revealedto methatyour god(is) GodOneso willyousubmit (to Him)
21:108
فَإِنتَوَلَّوْا۟فَقُلْءَاذَنتُكُمْعَلَىٰسَوَآءٍۢ ۖوَإِنْأَدْرِىٓأَقَرِيبٌأَمبَعِيدٌۭمَّاتُوعَدُونَ
tūʿadūnamābaʿīdunamaqarībunadrīwa-insawāinʿalāādhantukumfaqultawallawfa-in
But ifthey turn awaythen sayI (have) announced to youequallyequallyAnd notI knowwhether is nearorfarwhatyou are promised
21:109
إِنَّهُۥيَعْلَمُٱلْجَهْرَمِنَٱلْقَوْلِوَيَعْلَمُمَاتَكْتُمُونَ
taktumūnamāwayaʿlamul-qawliminal-jahrayaʿlamuinnahu
Indeed, Heknowsthe declared[of][the] speechand He knowswhatyou conceal
21:110
وَإِنْأَدْرِىلَعَلَّهُۥفِتْنَةٌۭلَّكُمْوَمَتَـٰعٌإِلَىٰحِينٍۢ
ḥīninilāwamatāʿunlakumfit'natunlaʿallahuadrīwa-in
And notI knowperhaps it may bea trialfor youand an enjoymentfora time
21:111
قَـٰلَرَبِّٱحْكُمبِٱلْحَقِّ ۗوَرَبُّنَاٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُٱلْمُسْتَعَانُعَلَىٰمَاتَصِفُونَ
taṣifūnamāʿalāl-mus'taʿānul-raḥmānuwarabbunābil-ḥaqiuḥ'kumrabbiqāla
He saidMy Lordjudgein truthAnd our Lord(is) the Most Graciousthe One Whose help is soughtagainstwhatyou attribute
21:112
Basmala
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُٱتَّقُوا۟رَبَّكُمْ ۚإِنَّزَلْزَلَةَٱلسَّاعَةِشَىْءٌعَظِيمٌۭ
ʿaẓīmunshayonl-sāʿatizalzalatainnarabbakumittaqūl-nāsuyāayyuhā
O mankindO mankindFearyour LordIndeed(the) convulsion(of) the Hour(is) a thinggreat
22:1
يَوْمَتَرَوْنَهَاتَذْهَلُكُلُّمُرْضِعَةٍعَمَّآأَرْضَعَتْوَتَضَعُكُلُّذَاتِحَمْلٍحَمْلَهَاوَتَرَىٱلنَّاسَسُكَـٰرَىٰوَمَاهُمبِسُكَـٰرَىٰوَلَـٰكِنَّعَذَابَٱللَّهِشَدِيدٌۭ
shadīdunl-lahiʿadhābawalākinnabisukārāhumwamāsukārāl-nāsawatarāḥamlahāḥamlindhātikulluwataḍaʿuarḍaʿatʿammāmur'ḍiʿatinkullutadhhalutarawnahāyawma
(The) Dayyou will see itwill forgeteverynursing motherthat whichshe was nursingand will delivereverypregnant womanpregnant womanher loadand you will see[the] mankindintoxicatedwhile notthey(are) intoxicatedbut(the) punishment(of) Allah(will be) severe
22:2
وَمِنَٱلنَّاسِمَنيُجَـٰدِلُفِىٱللَّهِبِغَيْرِعِلْمٍۢوَيَتَّبِعُكُلَّشَيْطَـٰنٍۢمَّرِيدٍۢ
marīdinshayṭāninkullawayattabiʿuʿil'minbighayril-lahifīyujādilumanl-nāsiwamina
And amongthe mankind(is he) whodisputesconcerningAllahwithoutknowledgeand followseverydevilrebellious
22:3
كُتِبَعَلَيْهِأَنَّهُۥمَنتَوَلَّاهُفَأَنَّهُۥيُضِلُّهُۥوَيَهْدِيهِإِلَىٰعَذَابِٱلسَّعِيرِ
l-saʿīriʿadhābiilāwayahdīhiyuḍilluhufa-annahutawallāhumanannahuʿalayhikutiba
It has been decreedfor himthat hewhobefriends himthen indeed, hewill misguide himand will guide himto(the) punishment(of) the Blaze
22:4
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُإِنكُنتُمْفِىرَيْبٍۢمِّنَٱلْبَعْثِفَإِنَّاخَلَقْنَـٰكُممِّنتُرَابٍۢثُمَّمِننُّطْفَةٍۢثُمَّمِنْعَلَقَةٍۢثُمَّمِنمُّضْغَةٍۢمُّخَلَّقَةٍۢوَغَيْرِمُخَلَّقَةٍۢلِّنُبَيِّنَلَكُمْ ۚوَنُقِرُّفِىٱلْأَرْحَامِمَانَشَآءُإِلَىٰٓأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّۭىثُمَّنُخْرِجُكُمْطِفْلًۭاثُمَّلِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟أَشُدَّكُمْ ۖوَمِنكُممَّنيُتَوَفَّىٰوَمِنكُممَّنيُرَدُّإِلَىٰٓأَرْذَلِٱلْعُمُرِلِكَيْلَايَعْلَمَمِنۢبَعْدِعِلْمٍۢشَيْـًۭٔا ۚوَتَرَىٱلْأَرْضَهَامِدَةًۭفَإِذَآأَنزَلْنَاعَلَيْهَاٱلْمَآءَٱهْتَزَّتْوَرَبَتْوَأَنۢبَتَتْمِنكُلِّزَوْجٍۭبَهِيجٍۢ
bahījinzawjinkulliminwa-anbatatwarabatih'tazzatl-māaʿalayhāanzalnāfa-idhāhāmidatanl-arḍawatarāshayanʿil'minbaʿdiminyaʿlamalikaylāl-ʿumuriardhaliilāyuraddumanwaminkumyutawaffāmanwaminkumashuddakumlitablughūthummaṭif'lannukh'rijukumthummamusammanajalinilānashāumāl-arḥāmifīwanuqirrulakumlinubayyinamukhallaqatinwaghayrimukhallaqatinmuḍ'ghatinminthummaʿalaqatinminthummanuṭ'fatinminthummaturābinminkhalaqnākumfa-innāl-baʿthiminaraybinfīkuntuminl-nāsuyāayyuhā
O mankindO mankindIfyou areindoubtaboutthe Resurrectionthen indeed, WeWe created youfromdustthenfroma semen-dropthenfroma clinging substancethenfroman embryonic lumpformedand unformedand unformedthat We may make clearto youAnd We cause to remaininthe wombswhatWe willfora termappointedthenWe bring you out(as) a child[then]that you may reach[your] maturityAnd among you(is he) whodiesand among you(is he) whois returnedtothe most abjectageso that nothe knowsafterafterhaving knownanythingAnd you seethe earthbarrenthen whenWe send downon itwaterit gets stirredand it swellsand growsofeverykindbeautiful
22:5
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلْحَقُّوَأَنَّهُۥيُحْىِٱلْمَوْتَىٰوَأَنَّهُۥعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrunshayinkulliʿalāwa-annahul-mawtāyuḥ'yīwa-annahul-ḥaquhuwal-lahabi-annadhālika
That(is) becauseAllah He(is) the TruthAnd that He[He] gives life(to) the deadand that He(is) overeverythingAll-Powerful
22:6
وَأَنَّٱلسَّاعَةَءَاتِيَةٌۭلَّارَيْبَفِيهَاوَأَنَّٱللَّهَيَبْعَثُمَنفِىٱلْقُبُورِ
l-qubūrifīmanyabʿathul-lahawa-annafīhāraybalāātiyatunl-sāʿatawa-anna
And thatthe Hourwill come(there is) nodoubtabout itand thatAllahwill resurrect(those) who(are) inthe graves
22:7
وَمِنَٱلنَّاسِمَنيُجَـٰدِلُفِىٱللَّهِبِغَيْرِعِلْمٍۢوَلَاهُدًۭىوَلَاكِتَـٰبٍۢمُّنِيرٍۢ
munīrinkitābinwalāhudanwalāʿil'minbighayril-lahifīyujādilumanl-nāsiwamina
And amongmankind(is he) whodisputesconcerningAllahwithoutany knowledgeand notany guidanceand nota Bookenlightening
22:8
ثَانِىَعِطْفِهِۦلِيُضِلَّعَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِ ۖلَهُۥفِىٱلدُّنْيَاخِزْىٌۭ ۖوَنُذِيقُهُۥيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِعَذَابَٱلْحَرِيقِ
l-ḥarīqiʿadhābal-qiyāmatiyawmawanudhīquhukhiz'yunl-dun'yāfīlahul-lahisabīliʿanliyuḍillaʿiṭ'fihithāniya
Twistinghis neckto misleadfrom(the) way(of) AllahFor himinthe world(is) disgraceand We will make him taste(on the) Day(of) Resurrection(the) punishment(of) the Burning Fire
22:9
ذَٰلِكَبِمَاقَدَّمَتْيَدَاكَوَأَنَّٱللَّهَلَيْسَبِظَلَّـٰمٍۢلِّلْعَبِيدِ
lil'ʿabīdibiẓallāminlaysal-lahawa-annayadākaqaddamatbimādhālika
That(is) for whathave sent forthyour handsand thatAllahis notunjustto His slaves
22:10
وَمِنَٱلنَّاسِمَنيَعْبُدُٱللَّهَعَلَىٰحَرْفٍۢ ۖفَإِنْأَصَابَهُۥخَيْرٌٱطْمَأَنَّبِهِۦ ۖوَإِنْأَصَابَتْهُفِتْنَةٌٱنقَلَبَعَلَىٰوَجْهِهِۦخَسِرَٱلدُّنْيَاوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ ۚذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلْخُسْرَانُٱلْمُبِينُ
l-mubīnul-khus'rānuhuwadhālikawal-ākhiratal-dun'yākhasirawajhihiʿalāinqalabafit'natunaṣābathuwa-inbihiiṭ'ma-annakhayrunaṣābahufa-inḥarfinʿalāl-lahayaʿbudumanl-nāsiwamina
And amongthe mankind(is he) whoworshipsAllahonan edgeAnd ifbefalls himgoodhe is contentwith itand ifbefalls hima trialhe turnsonhis faceHe has lostthe worldand the HereafterThat[it](is) the lossclear
22:11
يَدْعُوا۟مِندُونِٱللَّهِمَالَايَضُرُّهُۥوَمَالَايَنفَعُهُۥ ۚذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلضَّلَـٰلُٱلْبَعِيدُ
l-baʿīdul-ḍalāluhuwadhālikayanfaʿuhulāwamāyaḍurruhulāmāl-lahidūniminyadʿū
He callsbesidesbesidesAllahwhatnotharms himand whatnotbenefits himThat[it](is) the strayingfar away
22:12
يَدْعُوا۟لَمَنضَرُّهُۥٓأَقْرَبُمِننَّفْعِهِۦ ۚلَبِئْسَٱلْمَوْلَىٰوَلَبِئْسَٱلْعَشِيرُ
l-ʿashīruwalabi'sal-mawlālabi'sanafʿihiminaqrabuḍarruhulamanyadʿū
He calls(one) who his harm(is) closerthanhis benefitSurely, an evilprotectorand surely an evilfriend
22:13
إِنَّٱللَّهَيُدْخِلُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِجَنَّـٰتٍۢتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَيَفْعَلُمَايُرِيدُ
yurīdumāyafʿalul-lahainnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrījannātinl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnayud'khilul-lahainna
IndeedAllahwill admitthose whobelieveand dothe righteous deeds(to) Gardensflowfromunderneath itthe riversIndeedAllahdoeswhatHe intends
22:14
مَنكَانَيَظُنُّأَنلَّنيَنصُرَهُٱللَّهُفِىٱلدُّنْيَاوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِفَلْيَمْدُدْبِسَبَبٍإِلَىٱلسَّمَآءِثُمَّلْيَقْطَعْفَلْيَنظُرْهَلْيُذْهِبَنَّكَيْدُهُۥمَايَغِيظُ
yaghīẓumākayduhuyudh'hibannahalfalyanẓurl'yaqṭaʿthummal-samāiilābisababinfalyamdudwal-ākhiratil-dun'yāfīl-lahuyanṣurahulananyaẓunnukānaman
Whoever[is]thinksthatnotAllah will help himAllah will help himinthe worldand the Hereafterthen let him extenda ropetothe skythenlet him cut offthen let him seewhetherwill removehis planwhatenrages
22:15
وَكَذَٰلِكَأَنزَلْنَـٰهُءَايَـٰتٍۭبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢوَأَنَّٱللَّهَيَهْدِىمَنيُرِيدُ
yurīdumanyahdīl-lahawa-annabayyinātināyātinanzalnāhuwakadhālika
And thusWe sent it down(as) clear Verses(as) clear Versesand thatAllahguideswhomHe intends
22:16
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَٱلَّذِينَهَادُوا۟وَٱلصَّـٰبِـِٔينَوَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰوَٱلْمَجُوسَوَٱلَّذِينَأَشْرَكُوٓا۟إِنَّٱللَّهَيَفْصِلُبَيْنَهُمْيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢشَهِيدٌ
shahīdunshayinkulliʿalāl-lahainnal-qiyāmatiyawmabaynahumyafṣilul-lahainnaashrakūwa-alladhīnawal-majūsawal-naṣārāwal-ṣābiīnahādūwa-alladhīnaāmanūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whohave believedand those whowere Jewsand the Sabiansand the Christiansand the Magiansand those who(are) polytheistsindeedAllahwill judgebetween them(on) the Day(of) the ResurrectionIndeedAllahovereverything(is) a Witness
22:17
أَلَمْتَرَأَنَّٱللَّهَيَسْجُدُلَهُۥمَنفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَنفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَٱلشَّمْسُوَٱلْقَمَرُوَٱلنُّجُومُوَٱلْجِبَالُوَٱلشَّجَرُوَٱلدَّوَآبُّوَكَثِيرٌۭمِّنَٱلنَّاسِ ۖوَكَثِيرٌحَقَّعَلَيْهِٱلْعَذَابُ ۗوَمَنيُهِنِٱللَّهُفَمَالَهُۥمِنمُّكْرِمٍ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَيَفْعَلُمَايَشَآءُ ۩
yashāumāyafʿalul-lahainnamuk'riminminlahufamāl-lahuyuhiniwamanl-ʿadhābuʿalayhiḥaqqawakathīrunl-nāsiminawakathīrunwal-dawābuwal-shajaruwal-jibāluwal-nujūmuwal-qamaruwal-shamsul-arḍifīwamanl-samāwātifīmanlahuyasjudul-lahaannataraalam
Do notyou seethat(to) Allahprostratesto Himwhoever(is) inthe heavensand whoever(is) inthe earthand the sunand the moonand the starsand the mountainsand the treesand the moving creaturesand manyofthe peopleBut many (is) justly dueon himthe punishmentAnd whoeverAllah humiliatesAllah humiliatesthen notfor himanybestower of honorIndeedAllahdoeswhatHe wills
22:18
۞ هَـٰذَانِخَصْمَانِٱخْتَصَمُوا۟فِىرَبِّهِمْ ۖفَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟قُطِّعَتْلَهُمْثِيَابٌۭمِّننَّارٍۢيُصَبُّمِنفَوْقِرُءُوسِهِمُٱلْحَمِيمُ
l-ḥamīmuruūsihimufawqiminyuṣabbunārinminthiyābunlahumquṭṭiʿatkafarūfa-alladhīnarabbihimfīikh'taṣamūkhaṣmānihādhāni
These twoopponentsdisputeconcerningtheir LordBut those whodisbelievedwill be cut outfor themgarmentsoffireWill be pouredoverovertheir heads[the] scalding water
22:19
يُصْهَرُبِهِۦمَافِىبُطُونِهِمْوَٱلْجُلُودُ
wal-julūdubuṭūnihimfīmābihiyuṣ'haru
Will be meltedwith itwhat(is) intheir belliesand the skins
22:20
وَلَهُممَّقَـٰمِعُمِنْحَدِيدٍۢ
ḥadīdinminmaqāmiʿuwalahum
And for them(are) hooked rodsofiron
22:21
كُلَّمَآأَرَادُوٓا۟أَنيَخْرُجُوا۟مِنْهَامِنْغَمٍّأُعِيدُوا۟فِيهَاوَذُوقُوا۟عَذَابَٱلْحَرِيقِ
l-ḥarīqiʿadhābawadhūqūfīhāuʿīdūghamminminmin'hāyakhrujūanarādūkullamā
Every timethey wanttocome outfrom itfromanguishthey will be returnedthereinTaste(the) punishment(of) the Burning Fire
22:22
إِنَّٱللَّهَيُدْخِلُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِجَنَّـٰتٍۢتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُيُحَلَّوْنَفِيهَامِنْأَسَاوِرَمِنذَهَبٍۢوَلُؤْلُؤًۭا ۖوَلِبَاسُهُمْفِيهَاحَرِيرٌۭ
ḥarīrunfīhāwalibāsuhumwalu'lu-andhahabinminasāwiraminfīhāyuḥallawnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrījannātinl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnayud'khilul-lahainna
IndeedAllahwill admitthose whobelieveand dothe righteous deeds(to) Gardensflowfromunderneath itthe riversThey will be adornedthereinwithbraceletsofgoldand pearland their garmentstherein(will be of) silk
22:23
وَهُدُوٓا۟إِلَىٱلطَّيِّبِمِنَٱلْقَوْلِوَهُدُوٓا۟إِلَىٰصِرَٰطِٱلْحَمِيدِ
l-ḥamīdiṣirāṭiilāwahudūl-qawliminal-ṭayibiilāwahudū
And they were guidedtothe goodofthe speechand they were guidedto(the) path(of) the Praiseworthy
22:24
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَيَصُدُّونَعَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِوَٱلْمَسْجِدِٱلْحَرَامِٱلَّذِىجَعَلْنَـٰهُلِلنَّاسِسَوَآءًٱلْعَـٰكِفُفِيهِوَٱلْبَادِ ۚوَمَنيُرِدْفِيهِبِإِلْحَادٍۭبِظُلْمٍۢنُّذِقْهُمِنْعَذَابٍأَلِيمٍۢ
alīminʿadhābinminnudhiq'hubiẓul'minbi-il'ḥādinfīhiyuridwamanwal-bādifīhil-ʿākifusawāanlilnnāsijaʿalnāhualladhīl-ḥarāmiwal-masjidil-lahisabīliʿanwayaṣuddūnakafarūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whodisbelievedand hinderfrom(the) way(of) Allahand Al-Masjid Al-Haraamand Al-Masjid Al-HaraamwhichWe made itfor the mankindequal(are) the residentthereinand the visitorand whoeverintendsthereinof deviation(or) wrongdoingWe will make him tasteofa punishmentpainful
22:25
وَإِذْبَوَّأْنَالِإِبْرَٰهِيمَمَكَانَٱلْبَيْتِأَنلَّاتُشْرِكْبِىشَيْـًۭٔاوَطَهِّرْبَيْتِىَلِلطَّآئِفِينَوَٱلْقَآئِمِينَوَٱلرُّكَّعِٱلسُّجُودِ
l-sujūdiwal-rukaʿiwal-qāimīnalilṭṭāifīnabaytiyawaṭahhirshayanbītush'riklāanl-baytimakānali-ib'rāhīmabawwanāwa-idh
And whenWe assignedto Ibrahim(the) site(of) the HouseThat(do) notassociatewith Meanythingand purifyMy Housefor those who circumambulateand those who standand those who bow(and) those who prostrate
22:26
وَأَذِّنفِىٱلنَّاسِبِٱلْحَجِّيَأْتُوكَرِجَالًۭاوَعَلَىٰكُلِّضَامِرٍۢيَأْتِينَمِنكُلِّفَجٍّعَمِيقٍۢ
ʿamīqinfajjinkulliminyatīnaḍāmirinkulliwaʿalārijālanyatūkabil-ḥajil-nāsifīwa-adhin
And proclaimto[the] mankind[of] the Pilgrimagethey will come to you(on) footand oneverylean camelthey will comefromeverymountain highwaydistant
22:27
لِّيَشْهَدُوا۟مَنَـٰفِعَلَهُمْوَيَذْكُرُوا۟ٱسْمَٱللَّهِفِىٓأَيَّامٍۢمَّعْلُومَـٰتٍعَلَىٰمَارَزَقَهُممِّنۢبَهِيمَةِٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ ۖفَكُلُوا۟مِنْهَاوَأَطْعِمُوا۟ٱلْبَآئِسَٱلْفَقِيرَ
l-faqīral-bāisawa-aṭʿimūmin'hāfakulūl-anʿāmibahīmatiminrazaqahummāʿalāmaʿlūmātinayyāminfīl-lahiis'mawayadhkurūlahummanāfiʿaliyashhadū
That they may witnessbenefitsfor themand mention(the) name(of) AllahondaysknownoverwhatHe has provided themof(the) beast(of) cattleSo eatof themand feedthe miserablethe poor
22:28
ثُمَّلْيَقْضُوا۟تَفَثَهُمْوَلْيُوفُوا۟نُذُورَهُمْوَلْيَطَّوَّفُوا۟بِٱلْبَيْتِٱلْعَتِيقِ
l-ʿatīqibil-baytiwalyaṭṭawwafūnudhūrahumwalyūfūtafathahuml'yaqḍūthumma
Thenlet them endtheir prescribed dutiesand fulfiltheir vowsand circumambulatethe House[the] Ancient
22:29
ذَٰلِكَوَمَنيُعَظِّمْحُرُمَـٰتِٱللَّهِفَهُوَخَيْرٌۭلَّهُۥعِندَرَبِّهِۦ ۗوَأُحِلَّتْلَكُمُٱلْأَنْعَـٰمُإِلَّامَايُتْلَىٰعَلَيْكُمْ ۖفَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ٱلرِّجْسَمِنَٱلْأَوْثَـٰنِوَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟قَوْلَٱلزُّورِ
l-zūriqawlawa-ij'tanibūl-awthāniminal-rij'safa-ij'tanibūʿalaykumyut'lāmāillāl-anʿāmulakumuwa-uḥillatrabbihiʿindalahukhayrunfahuwal-lahiḥurumātiyuʿaẓẓimwamandhālika
Thatand whoeverhonors(the) sacred rites(of) Allahthen it(is) bestfor himnearhis LordAnd are made lawfulto youthe cattleexceptwhatis recitedto youSo avoidthe abominationofthe idolsand avoid(the) wordfalse
22:30
حُنَفَآءَلِلَّهِغَيْرَمُشْرِكِينَبِهِۦ ۚوَمَنيُشْرِكْبِٱللَّهِفَكَأَنَّمَاخَرَّمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِفَتَخْطَفُهُٱلطَّيْرُأَوْتَهْوِىبِهِٱلرِّيحُفِىمَكَانٍۢسَحِيقٍۢ
saḥīqinmakāninfīl-rīḥubihitahwīawl-ṭayrufatakhṭafuhul-samāiminakharrafaka-annamābil-lahiyush'rikwamanbihimush'rikīnaghayralillahiḥunafāa
Being uprightto Allahnotassociating partnerswith HimAnd whoeverassociates partnerswith Allahthen (it is) as thoughhe had fallenfromthe skyand (had) snatched himthe birdsorhad blownhimthe windtoa placefar off
22:31
ذَٰلِكَوَمَنيُعَظِّمْشَعَـٰٓئِرَٱللَّهِفَإِنَّهَامِنتَقْوَىٱلْقُلُوبِ
l-qulūbitaqwāminfa-innahāl-lahishaʿāirayuʿaẓẓimwamandhālika
Thatand whoeverhonors(the) Symbols(of) Allahthen indeed, it(is) from(the) piety(of) the hearts
22:32
لَكُمْفِيهَامَنَـٰفِعُإِلَىٰٓأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّۭىثُمَّمَحِلُّهَآإِلَىٱلْبَيْتِٱلْعَتِيقِ
l-ʿatīqil-baytiilāmaḥilluhāthummamusammanajalinilāmanāfiʿufīhālakum
For youtherein(are) benefitsfora termappointedthentheir place of sacrifice(is) atthe Housethe Ancient
22:33
وَلِكُلِّأُمَّةٍۢجَعَلْنَامَنسَكًۭالِّيَذْكُرُوا۟ٱسْمَٱللَّهِعَلَىٰمَارَزَقَهُممِّنۢبَهِيمَةِٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ ۗفَإِلَـٰهُكُمْإِلَـٰهٌۭوَٰحِدٌۭفَلَهُۥٓأَسْلِمُوا۟ ۗوَبَشِّرِٱلْمُخْبِتِينَ
l-mukh'bitīnawabashiriaslimūfalahuwāḥidunilāhunfa-ilāhukuml-anʿāmibahīmatiminrazaqahummāʿalāl-lahiis'maliyadhkurūmansakanjaʿalnāummatinwalikulli
And for everynationWe have appointeda ritethat they may mention(the) name(of) AllahoverwhatHe (has) provided themof(the) beast(of) cattleAnd your God(is) GodOneso to HimsubmitAnd give glad tidings(to) the humble ones
22:34
ٱلَّذِينَإِذَاذُكِرَٱللَّهُوَجِلَتْقُلُوبُهُمْوَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَعَلَىٰمَآأَصَابَهُمْوَٱلْمُقِيمِىٱلصَّلَوٰةِوَمِمَّارَزَقْنَـٰهُمْيُنفِقُونَ
yunfiqūnarazaqnāhumwamimmāl-ṣalatiwal-muqīmīaṣābahummāʿalāwal-ṣābirīnaqulūbuhumwajilatl-lahudhukiraidhāalladhīna
Thosewhenis mentionedAllah feartheir heartsand those who are patientoverwhateverhas afflicted themand those who establishthe prayerand out of whatWe have provided themthey spend
22:35
وَٱلْبُدْنَجَعَلْنَـٰهَالَكُممِّنشَعَـٰٓئِرِٱللَّهِلَكُمْفِيهَاخَيْرٌۭ ۖفَٱذْكُرُوا۟ٱسْمَٱللَّهِعَلَيْهَاصَوَآفَّ ۖفَإِذَاوَجَبَتْجُنُوبُهَافَكُلُوا۟مِنْهَاوَأَطْعِمُوا۟ٱلْقَانِعَوَٱلْمُعْتَرَّ ۚكَذَٰلِكَسَخَّرْنَـٰهَالَكُمْلَعَلَّكُمْتَشْكُرُونَ
tashkurūnalaʿallakumlakumsakharnāhākadhālikawal-muʿ'taral-qāniʿawa-aṭʿimūmin'hāfakulūjunūbuhāwajabatfa-idhāṣawāffaʿalayhāl-lahiis'mafa-udh'kurūkhayrunfīhālakuml-lahishaʿāiriminlakumjaʿalnāhāwal-bud'na
And the camels and cattle We have made themfor youamong(the) Symbols(of) Allahfor youtherein(is) goodSo mention(the) name(of) Allahover them(when) lined upand whenare downtheir sidesthen eatfrom themand feedthe needy who do not askand the needy who askThusWe have subjected themto youso that you maybe grateful
22:36
لَنيَنَالَٱللَّهَلُحُومُهَاوَلَادِمَآؤُهَاوَلَـٰكِنيَنَالُهُٱلتَّقْوَىٰمِنكُمْ ۚكَذَٰلِكَسَخَّرَهَالَكُمْلِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ٱللَّهَعَلَىٰمَاهَدَىٰكُمْ ۗوَبَشِّرِٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnawabashirihadākummāʿalāl-lahalitukabbirūlakumsakharahākadhālikaminkuml-taqwāyanāluhuwalākindimāuhāwalāluḥūmuhāl-lahayanālalan
Will notreachAllahtheir meatand nottheir bloodbutreaches Himthe pietyfrom youThusHe subjected themto youso that you may magnifyAllahforwhatHe has guided youAnd give glad tidings(to) the good-doers
22:37
۞ إِنَّٱللَّهَيُدَٰفِعُعَنِٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايُحِبُّكُلَّخَوَّانٍۢكَفُورٍ
kafūrinkhawwāninkullayuḥibbulāl-lahainnaāmanūalladhīnaʿaniyudāfiʿul-lahainna
IndeedAllahdefendsdefendsthose whobelieveIndeedAllah(does) notlikeeverytreacherousungrateful
22:38
أُذِنَلِلَّذِينَيُقَـٰتَلُونَبِأَنَّهُمْظُلِمُوا۟ ۚوَإِنَّٱللَّهَعَلَىٰنَصْرِهِمْلَقَدِيرٌ
laqadīrunnaṣrihimʿalāl-lahawa-innaẓulimūbi-annahumyuqātalūnalilladhīnaudhina
Permission is givento those whoare being foughtbecause theywere wrongedAnd indeedAllahfortheir victory(is) surely Able
22:39
ٱلَّذِينَأُخْرِجُوا۟مِندِيَـٰرِهِمبِغَيْرِحَقٍّإِلَّآأَنيَقُولُوا۟رَبُّنَاٱللَّهُ ۗوَلَوْلَادَفْعُٱللَّهِٱلنَّاسَبَعْضَهُمبِبَعْضٍۢلَّهُدِّمَتْصَوَٰمِعُوَبِيَعٌۭوَصَلَوَٰتٌۭوَمَسَـٰجِدُيُذْكَرُفِيهَاٱسْمُٱللَّهِكَثِيرًۭا ۗوَلَيَنصُرَنَّٱللَّهُمَنيَنصُرُهُۥٓ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَلَقَوِىٌّعَزِيزٌ
ʿazīzunlaqawiyyunl-lahainnayanṣuruhumanl-lahuwalayanṣurannakathīranl-lahius'mufīhāyudh'karuwamasājiduwaṣalawātunwabiyaʿunṣawāmiʿulahuddimatbibaʿḍinbaʿḍahuml-nāsal-lahidafʿuwalawlāl-lahurabbunāyaqūlūanillāḥaqqinbighayridiyārihimminukh'rijūalladhīna
Those whohave been evictedfromtheir homeswithoutrightexceptthatthey saidOur Lord(is) AllahAnd if notAllah checksAllah checksthe peoplesome of themby otherssurely (would) have been demolishedmonasteriesand churchesand synagoguesand masajid is mentionedin it(the) name of Allah(the) name of AllahmuchAnd surely Allah will helpAnd surely Allah will help(those) whohelp HimIndeedAllah(is) surely All-StrongAll-Mighty
22:40
ٱلَّذِينَإِنمَّكَّنَّـٰهُمْفِىٱلْأَرْضِأَقَامُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَءَاتَوُا۟ٱلزَّكَوٰةَوَأَمَرُوا۟بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِوَنَهَوْا۟عَنِٱلْمُنكَرِ ۗوَلِلَّهِعَـٰقِبَةُٱلْأُمُورِ
l-umūriʿāqibatuwalillahil-munkariʿaniwanahawbil-maʿrūfiwa-amarūl-zakatawaātawūl-ṣalataaqāmūl-arḍifīmakkannāhuminalladhīna
Those whoifWe establish theminthe landthey establishthe prayerand they givezakahand they enjointhe rightand forbidfromthe wrongAnd for Allah(is the) end(of) the matters
22:41
وَإِنيُكَذِّبُوكَفَقَدْكَذَّبَتْقَبْلَهُمْقَوْمُنُوحٍۢوَعَادٌۭوَثَمُودُ
wathamūduwaʿādunnūḥinqawmuqablahumkadhabatfaqadyukadhibūkawa-in
And ifthey deny youso verilydeniedbefore them(the) people(of) Nuhand Aadand Thamud
22:42
وَقَوْمُإِبْرَٰهِيمَوَقَوْمُلُوطٍۢ
lūṭinwaqawmuib'rāhīmawaqawmu
And (the) people(of) Ibrahimand (the) people(of) Lut
22:43
وَأَصْحَـٰبُمَدْيَنَ ۖوَكُذِّبَمُوسَىٰفَأَمْلَيْتُلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَثُمَّأَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖفَكَيْفَكَانَنَكِيرِ
nakīrikānafakayfaakhadhtuhumthummalil'kāfirīnafa-amlaytumūsāwakudhibamadyanawa-aṣḥābu
And the inhabitants(of) MadyanAnd Musa was deniedAnd Musa was deniedso I granted respiteto the disbelieversthenI seized themand howwasMy punishment
22:44
فَكَأَيِّنمِّنقَرْيَةٍأَهْلَكْنَـٰهَاوَهِىَظَالِمَةٌۭفَهِىَخَاوِيَةٌعَلَىٰعُرُوشِهَاوَبِئْرٍۢمُّعَطَّلَةٍۢوَقَصْرٍۢمَّشِيدٍ
mashīdinwaqaṣrinmuʿaṭṭalatinwabi'rinʿurūshihāʿalākhāwiyatunfahiyaẓālimatunwahiyaahlaknāhāqaryatinminfaka-ayyin
And how manyofa townshipWe have destroyed itwhile itwas doing wrongso itfellonits roofsand wellabandonedand castlelofty
22:45
أَفَلَمْيَسِيرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِفَتَكُونَلَهُمْقُلُوبٌۭيَعْقِلُونَبِهَآأَوْءَاذَانٌۭيَسْمَعُونَبِهَا ۖفَإِنَّهَالَاتَعْمَىٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُوَلَـٰكِنتَعْمَىٱلْقُلُوبُٱلَّتِىفِىٱلصُّدُورِ
l-ṣudūrifīallatīl-qulūbutaʿmāwalākinl-abṣārutaʿmālāfa-innahābihāyasmaʿūnaādhānunawbihāyaʿqilūnaqulūbunlahumfatakūnal-arḍifīyasīrūafalam
So have notthey traveledinthe landand isfor themhearts(to) reasonwith itorears(to) hearwith itFor indeed, [it]not(are) blindedthe eyesbut(are) blindedthe heartswhich(are) inthe breasts
22:46
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَبِٱلْعَذَابِوَلَنيُخْلِفَٱللَّهُوَعْدَهُۥ ۚوَإِنَّيَوْمًاعِندَرَبِّكَكَأَلْفِسَنَةٍۢمِّمَّاتَعُدُّونَ
taʿuddūnamimmāsanatinka-alfirabbikaʿindayawmanwa-innawaʿdahul-lahuyukh'lifawalanbil-ʿadhābiwayastaʿjilūnaka
And they ask you to hastenthe punishmentBut never willfail/violateAllah(in) His PromiseAnd indeeda daywithyour Lord(is) like a thousandyear(s)of whatyou count
22:47
وَكَأَيِّنمِّنقَرْيَةٍأَمْلَيْتُلَهَاوَهِىَظَالِمَةٌۭثُمَّأَخَذْتُهَاوَإِلَىَّٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīruwa-ilayyaakhadhtuhāthummaẓālimatunwahiyalahāamlaytuqaryatinminwaka-ayyin
And how manyofa townshipI gave respiteto itwhile it(was) doing wrongThenI seized itand to Me(is) the destination
22:48
قُلْيَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُإِنَّمَآأَنَا۠لَكُمْنَذِيرٌۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunnadhīrunlakumanāinnamāl-nāsuyāayyuhāqul
SayO mankindO mankindOnlyI amto youa warnerclear
22:49
فَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِلَهُممَّغْفِرَةٌۭوَرِزْقٌۭكَرِيمٌۭ
karīmunwariz'qunmaghfiratunlahuml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūfa-alladhīna
So those whobelieveand dorighteous deeds for them(is) forgivenessand a provisionnoble
22:50
وَٱلَّذِينَسَعَوْا۟فِىٓءَايَـٰتِنَامُعَـٰجِزِينَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْجَحِيمِ
l-jaḥīmiaṣḥābuulāikamuʿājizīnaāyātināfīsaʿawwa-alladhīna
And those whostroveagainstOur Verses(to) cause failurethose(are the) companions(of) the Hellfire
22:51
وَمَآأَرْسَلْنَامِنقَبْلِكَمِنرَّسُولٍۢوَلَانَبِىٍّإِلَّآإِذَاتَمَنَّىٰٓأَلْقَىٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُفِىٓأُمْنِيَّتِهِۦفَيَنسَخُٱللَّهُمَايُلْقِىٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُثُمَّيُحْكِمُٱللَّهُءَايَـٰتِهِۦ ۗوَٱللَّهُعَلِيمٌحَكِيمٌۭ
ḥakīmunʿalīmunwal-lahuāyātihil-lahuyuḥ'kimuthummal-shayṭānuyul'qīmāl-lahufayansakhuum'niyyatihifīl-shayṭānualqātamannāidhāillānabiyyinwalārasūlinminqablikaminarsalnāwamā
And notWe sentbefore youbefore youanyMessengerand nota Prophetbutwhenhe recitedthrewthe Shaitaaninhis recitationBut Allah abolishesBut Allah abolisheswhatthrowsthe ShaitaanthenAllah will establishAllah will establishHis VersesAnd Allah(is) All-KnowerAll-Wise
22:52
لِّيَجْعَلَمَايُلْقِىٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُفِتْنَةًۭلِّلَّذِينَفِىقُلُوبِهِممَّرَضٌۭوَٱلْقَاسِيَةِقُلُوبُهُمْ ۗوَإِنَّٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَلَفِىشِقَاقٍۭبَعِيدٍۢ
baʿīdinshiqāqinlafīl-ẓālimīnawa-innaqulūbuhumwal-qāsiyatimaraḍunqulūbihimfīlilladhīnafit'natanl-shayṭānuyul'qīmāliyajʿala
That He may makewhatthe Shaitaan throwsthe Shaitaan throwsa trialfor thoseintheir hearts(is) a diseaseand (are) hardenedtheir heartsAnd indeedthe wrongdoers(are) surely, inschismfar
22:53
وَلِيَعْلَمَٱلَّذِينَأُوتُوا۟ٱلْعِلْمَأَنَّهُٱلْحَقُّمِنرَّبِّكَفَيُؤْمِنُوا۟بِهِۦفَتُخْبِتَلَهُۥقُلُوبُهُمْ ۗوَإِنَّٱللَّهَلَهَادِٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟إِلَىٰصِرَٰطٍۢمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
mus'taqīminṣirāṭinilāāmanūalladhīnalahādil-lahawa-innaqulūbuhumlahufatukh'bitabihifayu'minūrabbikaminl-ḥaquannahul-ʿil'maūtūalladhīnawaliyaʿlama
And that may knowthose whohave been giventhe knowledgethat it(is) the truthfromyour Lordand they believein itand may humbly submitto ittheir heartsAnd indeedAllah(is) surely (the) Guide(of) those whobelievetoa PathStraight
22:54
وَلَايَزَالُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟فِىمِرْيَةٍۢمِّنْهُحَتَّىٰتَأْتِيَهُمُٱلسَّاعَةُبَغْتَةًأَوْيَأْتِيَهُمْعَذَابُيَوْمٍعَقِيمٍ
ʿaqīminyawminʿadhābuyatiyahumawbaghtatanl-sāʿatutatiyahumuḥattāmin'humir'yatinfīkafarūalladhīnayazāluwalā
And notwill ceasethose whodisbelieve(to be) indoubtof ituntilcomes to themthe Hoursuddenlyorcomes to them(the) punishment(of) a Daybarren
22:55
ٱلْمُلْكُيَوْمَئِذٍۢلِّلَّهِيَحْكُمُبَيْنَهُمْ ۚفَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِفِىجَنَّـٰتِٱلنَّعِيمِ
l-naʿīmijannātifīl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūfa-alladhīnabaynahumyaḥkumulillahiyawma-idhinal-mul'ku
The Sovereignty(on) that Day(will be) for AllahHe will judgebetween themSo those whobelieveand didrighteous deeds(will be) inGardens(of) Delight
22:56
وَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَافَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَهُمْعَذَابٌۭمُّهِينٌۭ
muhīnunʿadhābunlahumfa-ulāikabiāyātināwakadhabūkafarūwa-alladhīna
And those whodisbelievedand deniedOur Versesthen thosefor them(will be) a punishmenthumiliating
22:57
وَٱلَّذِينَهَاجَرُوا۟فِىسَبِيلِٱللَّهِثُمَّقُتِلُوٓا۟أَوْمَاتُوا۟لَيَرْزُقَنَّهُمُٱللَّهُرِزْقًاحَسَنًۭا ۚوَإِنَّٱللَّهَلَهُوَخَيْرُٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
l-rāziqīnakhayrulahuwal-lahawa-innaḥasananriz'qanl-lahulayarzuqannahumumātūawqutilūthummal-lahisabīlifīhājarūwa-alladhīna
And those whoemigratedin(the) way(of) Allahthenwere killedordiedsurely, Allah will provide themsurely, Allah will provide thema provisiongoodAnd indeedAllahsurely, He(is the) Best(of) the Providers
22:58
لَيُدْخِلَنَّهُممُّدْخَلًۭايَرْضَوْنَهُۥ ۗوَإِنَّٱللَّهَلَعَلِيمٌحَلِيمٌۭ
ḥalīmunlaʿalīmunl-lahawa-innayarḍawnahumud'khalanlayud'khilannahum
Surely, He will admit them(to) an entrancethey will be pleased (with) itAnd indeedAllahsurely, (is) All-KnowingMost Forbearing
22:59
۞ ذَٰلِكَوَمَنْعَاقَبَبِمِثْلِمَاعُوقِبَبِهِۦثُمَّبُغِىَعَلَيْهِلَيَنصُرَنَّهُٱللَّهُ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَلَعَفُوٌّغَفُورٌۭ
ghafūrunlaʿafuwwunl-lahainnal-lahulayanṣurannahuʿalayhibughiyathummabihiʿūqibamābimith'liʿāqabawamandhālika
Thatand whoeverhas retaliatedwith the like(of) thathe was made to sufferby itthenhe was oppressed[on him]Allah will surely help himAllah will surely help himIndeedAllah(is) surely Oft-PardoningOft-Forgiving
22:60
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّٱللَّهَيُولِجُٱلَّيْلَفِىٱلنَّهَارِوَيُولِجُٱلنَّهَارَفِىٱلَّيْلِوَأَنَّٱللَّهَسَمِيعٌۢبَصِيرٌۭ
baṣīrunsamīʿunl-lahawa-annaal-laylifīl-nahārawayūlijul-nahārifīal-laylayūlijul-lahabi-annadhālika
That(is) becauseAllahcauses to enterthe nightin (to)the dayand causes to enterthe dayin (to)the nightAnd indeedAllah(is) All-HearerAll-Seer
22:61
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلْحَقُّوَأَنَّمَايَدْعُونَمِندُونِهِۦهُوَٱلْبَـٰطِلُوَأَنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلْعَلِىُّٱلْكَبِيرُ
l-kabīrul-ʿaliyuhuwal-lahawa-annal-bāṭiluhuwadūnihiminyadʿūnamāwa-annal-ḥaquhuwal-lahabi-annadhālika
That (is)becauseAllahHe(is) the Truthand thatwhatthey invokebesides Himbesides Himit(is) the falsehoodAnd thatAllahHe(is) the Most Highthe Most Great
22:62
أَلَمْتَرَأَنَّٱللَّهَأَنزَلَمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۭفَتُصْبِحُٱلْأَرْضُمُخْضَرَّةً ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَلَطِيفٌخَبِيرٌۭ
khabīrunlaṭīfunl-lahainnamukh'ḍarratanl-arḍufatuṣ'biḥumāanl-samāiminaanzalal-lahaannataraalam
Do notyou seethatAllahsends downfromthe skywaterthen becomesthe earthgreenIndeedAllah(is) surely SubtleAll-Aware
22:63
لَّهُۥمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۗوَإِنَّٱللَّهَلَهُوَٱلْغَنِىُّٱلْحَمِيدُ
l-ḥamīdul-ghaniyulahuwal-lahawa-innal-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmālahu
For Him(is) whatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earthAnd indeedAllahsurely, He(is) Free of needthe Praiseworthy
22:64
أَلَمْتَرَأَنَّٱللَّهَسَخَّرَلَكُممَّافِىٱلْأَرْضِوَٱلْفُلْكَتَجْرِىفِىٱلْبَحْرِبِأَمْرِهِۦوَيُمْسِكُٱلسَّمَآءَأَنتَقَعَعَلَىٱلْأَرْضِإِلَّابِإِذْنِهِۦٓ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَبِٱلنَّاسِلَرَءُوفٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunlaraūfunbil-nāsil-lahainnabi-idh'nihiillāl-arḍiʿalātaqaʿaanl-samāawayum'sikubi-amrihil-baḥrifītajrīwal-ful'kal-arḍifīmālakumsakharal-lahaannataraalam
Do notyou seethatAllah(has) subjectedto youwhat(is) inthe earthand the shipsthat sailthroughthe seaby His CommandAnd He withholdsthe skylestit fallsonthe earthexceptby His permissionIndeedAllahto mankind(is) Full of KindnessMost Merciful
22:65
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىٓأَحْيَاكُمْثُمَّيُمِيتُكُمْثُمَّيُحْيِيكُمْ ۗإِنَّٱلْإِنسَـٰنَلَكَفُورٌۭ
lakafūrunl-insānainnayuḥ'yīkumthummayumītukumthummaaḥyākumalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whogave you lifethenHe will cause you to diethenHe will give you life (again)Indeedman(is) surely ungrateful
22:66
لِّكُلِّأُمَّةٍۢجَعَلْنَامَنسَكًاهُمْنَاسِكُوهُ ۖفَلَايُنَـٰزِعُنَّكَفِىٱلْأَمْرِ ۚوَٱدْعُإِلَىٰرَبِّكَ ۖإِنَّكَلَعَلَىٰهُدًۭىمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
mus'taqīminhudanlaʿalāinnakarabbikailāwa-ud'ʿul-amrifīyunāziʿunnakafalānāsikūhuhummansakanjaʿalnāummatinlikulli
For everynationWe have maderite(s)theyperform itSo let them not dispute with youSo let them not dispute with youinthe matterbut invite (them)toyour LordIndeed, you(are) surely onguidancestraight
22:67
وَإِنجَـٰدَلُوكَفَقُلِٱللَّهُأَعْلَمُبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnabimāaʿlamul-lahufaqulijādalūkawa-in
And ifthey argue (with) youthen sayAllah(is) most knowingof whatyou do
22:68
ٱللَّهُيَحْكُمُبَيْنَكُمْيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِفِيمَاكُنتُمْفِيهِتَخْتَلِفُونَ
takhtalifūnafīhikuntumfīmāl-qiyāmatiyawmabaynakumyaḥkumual-lahu
Allahwill judgebetween you(on the) Day(of) the Resurrectionconcerning whatyou used (to)in itdiffer
22:69
أَلَمْتَعْلَمْأَنَّٱللَّهَيَعْلَمُمَافِىٱلسَّمَآءِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗإِنَّذَٰلِكَفِىكِتَـٰبٍ ۚإِنَّذَٰلِكَعَلَىٱللَّهِيَسِيرٌۭ
yasīrunl-lahiʿalādhālikainnakitābinfīdhālikainnawal-arḍil-samāifīmāyaʿlamul-lahaannataʿlamalam
Do notyou knowthatAllahknowswhat(is) inthe heavenand the earthIndeedthat(is) ina Recordindeedthat(is) forAllaheasy
22:70
وَيَعْبُدُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِمَالَمْيُنَزِّلْبِهِۦسُلْطَـٰنًۭاوَمَالَيْسَلَهُمبِهِۦعِلْمٌۭ ۗوَمَالِلظَّـٰلِمِينَمِننَّصِيرٍۢ
naṣīrinminlilẓẓālimīnawamāʿil'munbihilahumlaysawamāsul'ṭānanbihiyunazzillammāl-lahidūniminwayaʿbudūna
And they worshipbesides Allahbesides Allahbesides AllahwhatnotHe (has) sent downfor itany authorityand whatnotthey haveof itany knowledgeAnd not(will be) for the wrongdoersanyhelper
22:71
وَإِذَاتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِمْءَايَـٰتُنَابَيِّنَـٰتٍۢتَعْرِفُفِىوُجُوهِٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟ٱلْمُنكَرَ ۖيَكَادُونَيَسْطُونَبِٱلَّذِينَيَتْلُونَعَلَيْهِمْءَايَـٰتِنَا ۗقُلْأَفَأُنَبِّئُكُمبِشَرٍّۢمِّنذَٰلِكُمُ ۗٱلنَّارُوَعَدَهَاٱللَّهُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟ ۖوَبِئْسَٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīruwabi'sakafarūalladhīnal-lahuwaʿadahāl-nārudhālikumuminbisharrinafa-unabbi-ukumqulāyātināʿalayhimyatlūnabi-alladhīnayasṭūnayakādūnal-munkarakafarūalladhīnawujūhifītaʿrifubayyinātināyātunāʿalayhimtut'lāwa-idhā
And whenare recitedto themOur Versesclearyou will recognizeon(the) faces(of) those whodisbelievethe denialThey almostattackthose whoreciteto themOur VersesSayThen shall I inform youof worsethanthatThe FireAllah (has) promised itAllah (has) promised it(for) those whodisbelieveand wretched(is) the destination
22:72
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُضُرِبَمَثَلٌۭفَٱسْتَمِعُوا۟لَهُۥٓ ۚإِنَّٱلَّذِينَتَدْعُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِلَنيَخْلُقُوا۟ذُبَابًۭاوَلَوِٱجْتَمَعُوا۟لَهُۥ ۖوَإِنيَسْلُبْهُمُٱلذُّبَابُشَيْـًۭٔالَّايَسْتَنقِذُوهُمِنْهُ ۚضَعُفَٱلطَّالِبُوَٱلْمَطْلُوبُ
wal-maṭlūbul-ṭālibuḍaʿufamin'huyastanqidhūhulāshayanl-dhubābuyaslub'humuwa-inlahuij'tamaʿūwalawidhubābanyakhluqūlanl-lahidūnimintadʿūnaalladhīnainnalahufa-is'tamiʿūmathalunḍuribal-nāsuyāayyuhā
O mankindO mankindIs set forthan exampleso listento itIndeedthose whomyou invokebesides Allahbesides Allahbesides Allahwill nevercreatea flyeven ifthey gathered togetherfor itAnd ifsnatched away from themthe flya thingnotthey (could) take it backfrom itSo weak(are) the seekerand the one who is sought
22:73
مَاقَدَرُوا۟ٱللَّهَحَقَّقَدْرِهِۦٓ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَلَقَوِىٌّعَزِيزٌ
ʿazīzunlaqawiyyunl-lahainnaqadrihiḥaqqal-lahaqadarūmā
Notthey (have) estimatedAllah(with) due[His] estimationIndeedAllah(is) surely All-StrongAll-Mighty
22:74
ٱللَّهُيَصْطَفِىمِنَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِرُسُلًۭاوَمِنَٱلنَّاسِ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَسَمِيعٌۢبَصِيرٌۭ
baṣīrunsamīʿunl-lahainnal-nāsiwaminarusulanl-malāikatiminayaṣṭafīal-lahu
Allahchoosesfromthe AngelsMessengersand fromthe mankindIndeedAllah(is) All-HearerAll-Seer
22:75
يَعْلَمُمَابَيْنَأَيْدِيهِمْوَمَاخَلْفَهُمْ ۗوَإِلَىٱللَّهِتُرْجَعُٱلْأُمُورُ
l-umūrutur'jaʿul-lahiwa-ilākhalfahumwamāaydīhimbaynamāyaʿlamu
He knowswhat(is) before them(is) before themand what(is) after themAnd toAllahreturnall the matters
22:76
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ٱرْكَعُوا۟وَٱسْجُدُوا۟وَٱعْبُدُوا۟رَبَّكُمْوَٱفْعَلُوا۟ٱلْخَيْرَلَعَلَّكُمْتُفْلِحُونَ ۩
tuf'liḥūnalaʿallakuml-khayrawa-if'ʿalūrabbakumwa-uʿ'budūwa-us'judūir'kaʿūāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believeBowand prostrateand worshipyour Lordand do[the] goodso that you maybe successful
22:77
وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟فِىٱللَّهِحَقَّجِهَادِهِۦ ۚهُوَٱجْتَبَىٰكُمْوَمَاجَعَلَعَلَيْكُمْفِىٱلدِّينِمِنْحَرَجٍۢ ۚمِّلَّةَأَبِيكُمْإِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۚهُوَسَمَّىٰكُمُٱلْمُسْلِمِينَمِنقَبْلُوَفِىهَـٰذَالِيَكُونَٱلرَّسُولُشَهِيدًاعَلَيْكُمْوَتَكُونُوا۟شُهَدَآءَعَلَىٱلنَّاسِ ۚفَأَقِيمُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَءَاتُوا۟ٱلزَّكَوٰةَوَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟بِٱللَّهِهُوَمَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۖفَنِعْمَٱلْمَوْلَىٰوَنِعْمَٱلنَّصِيرُ
l-naṣīruwaniʿ'mal-mawlāfaniʿ'mamawlākumhuwabil-lahiwa-iʿ'taṣimūl-zakatawaātūl-ṣalatafa-aqīmūl-nāsiʿalāshuhadāawatakūnūʿalaykumshahīdanl-rasūluliyakūnahādhāwafīqabluminl-mus'limīnasammākumuhuwaib'rāhīmaabīkummillataḥarajinminl-dīnifīʿalaykumjaʿalawamāij'tabākumhuwajihādihiḥaqqal-lahifīwajāhidū
And striveforAllah(with the) striving due (to) Him(with the) striving due (to) HimHe(has) chosen youand notplacedupon youinthe religionanydifficulty(The) religion(of) your fatherIbrahimHenamed youMuslimsbeforebeforeand inthisthat may bethe Messengera witnessover youand you may bewitnessesonthe mankindSo establishthe prayerand givezakahand hold fastto AllahHe(is) your Protector so an Excellent[the] Protectorand an Excellent[the] Helper
22:78
