Basmala
۞ وَلَاتُجَـٰدِلُوٓا۟أَهْلَٱلْكِتَـٰبِإِلَّابِٱلَّتِىهِىَأَحْسَنُإِلَّاٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟مِنْهُمْ ۖوَقُولُوٓا۟ءَامَنَّابِٱلَّذِىٓأُنزِلَإِلَيْنَاوَأُنزِلَإِلَيْكُمْوَإِلَـٰهُنَاوَإِلَـٰهُكُمْوَٰحِدٌۭوَنَحْنُلَهُۥمُسْلِمُونَ
mus'limūnalahuwanaḥnuwāḥidunwa-ilāhukumwa-ilāhunāilaykumwa-unzilailaynāunzilabi-alladhīāmannāwaqūlūmin'humẓalamūalladhīnaillāaḥsanuhiyabi-allatīillāl-kitābiahlatujādilūwalā
And (do) notargue(with the) People of the Book(with the) People of the Bookexceptby which[it](is) bestexceptthose who(do) wrongamong themand sayWe believein that (which)has been revealedto usand was revealedto youAnd our Godand your God(is) Oneand weto Himsubmit
29:46
وَكَذَٰلِكَأَنزَلْنَآإِلَيْكَٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ۚفَٱلَّذِينَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُٱلْكِتَـٰبَيُؤْمِنُونَبِهِۦ ۖوَمِنْهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِمَنيُؤْمِنُبِهِۦ ۚوَمَايَجْحَدُبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآإِلَّاٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
l-kāfirūnaillābiāyātināyajḥaduwamābihiyu'minumanhāulāiwaminbihiyu'minūnal-kitābaātaynāhumufa-alladhīnal-kitābailaykaanzalnāwakadhālika
And thusWe (have) revealedto youthe BookSo thoseWe gave [them]the BookbelievethereinAnd amongthese(are some) whobelievethereinAnd nonerejectOur Versesexceptthe disbelievers
29:47
وَمَاكُنتَتَتْلُوا۟مِنقَبْلِهِۦمِنكِتَـٰبٍۢوَلَاتَخُطُّهُۥبِيَمِينِكَ ۖإِذًۭالَّٱرْتَابَٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ
l-mub'ṭilūnala-ir'tābaidhanbiyamīnikatakhuṭṭuhuwalākitābinminqablihimintatlūkuntawamā
And not(did) yourecitebefore itbefore itanyBookand not(did) you write itwith your right handin that casesurely (would) have doubtedthe falsifiers
29:48
بَلْهُوَءَايَـٰتٌۢبَيِّنَـٰتٌۭفِىصُدُورِٱلَّذِينَأُوتُوا۟ٱلْعِلْمَ ۚوَمَايَجْحَدُبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآإِلَّاٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
l-ẓālimūnaillābiāyātināyajḥaduwamāl-ʿil'maūtūalladhīnaṣudūrifībayyinātunāyātunhuwabal
Nayit(is) Versesclearin(the) breasts(of) those whoare giventhe knowledgeAnd notrejectOur Versesexceptthe wrongdoers
29:49
وَقَالُوا۟لَوْلَآأُنزِلَعَلَيْهِءَايَـٰتٌۭمِّنرَّبِّهِۦ ۖقُلْإِنَّمَاٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُعِندَٱللَّهِوَإِنَّمَآأَنَا۠نَذِيرٌۭمُّبِينٌ
mubīnunnadhīrunanāwa-innamāl-lahiʿindal-āyātuinnamāqulrabbihimināyātunʿalayhiunzilalawlāwaqālū
And they sayWhy notare sent downto him(the) Signsfromhis LordSayOnlythe Signs(are) withAllahand onlyI (am)a warnerclear
29:50
أَوَلَمْيَكْفِهِمْأَنَّآأَنزَلْنَاعَلَيْكَٱلْكِتَـٰبَيُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِمْ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَرَحْمَةًۭوَذِكْرَىٰلِقَوْمٍۢيُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnaliqawminwadhik'rālaraḥmatandhālikafīinnaʿalayhimyut'lāl-kitābaʿalaykaanzalnāannāyakfihimawalam
And is (it) notsufficient for themthat Werevealedto youthe Book(which) is recitedto themIndeedinthatsurely is a mercyand a reminderfor a peoplewho believe
29:51
قُلْكَفَىٰبِٱللَّهِبَيْنِىوَبَيْنَكُمْشَهِيدًۭا ۖيَعْلَمُمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِوَكَفَرُوا۟بِٱللَّهِأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ
l-khāsirūnahumuulāikabil-lahiwakafarūbil-bāṭiliāmanūwa-alladhīnawal-arḍil-samāwātifīmāyaʿlamushahīdanwabaynakumbaynībil-lahikafāqul
SaySufficient isAllahbetween meand between you(as) a WitnessHe knowswhat(is) inthe heavensand the earthAnd those whobelievein [the] falsehoodand disbelievein Allahthosethey(are) the losers
29:52
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَبِٱلْعَذَابِ ۚوَلَوْلَآأَجَلٌۭمُّسَمًّۭىلَّجَآءَهُمُٱلْعَذَابُوَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُمبَغْتَةًۭوَهُمْلَايَشْعُرُونَ
yashʿurūnalāwahumbaghtatanwalayatiyannahuml-ʿadhābulajāahumumusammanajalunwalawlābil-ʿadhābiwayastaʿjilūnaka
And they ask you to hasten[with] the punishmentAnd if not(for) a termappointedsurely (would) have come to themthe punishmentBut it will surely come to themsuddenlywhile they(do) notperceive
29:53
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَبِٱلْعَذَابِوَإِنَّجَهَنَّمَلَمُحِيطَةٌۢبِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
bil-kāfirīnalamuḥīṭatunjahannamawa-innabil-ʿadhābiyastaʿjilūnaka
They ask you to hastenthe punishmentAnd indeedHellwill surely, encompassthe disbelievers
29:54
يَوْمَيَغْشَىٰهُمُٱلْعَذَابُمِنفَوْقِهِمْوَمِنتَحْتِأَرْجُلِهِمْوَيَقُولُذُوقُوا۟مَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntummādhūqūwayaqūluarjulihimtaḥtiwaminfawqihimminl-ʿadhābuyaghshāhumuyawma
On (the) Daywill cover themthe punishmentfromabove themand frombelowtheir feetand He will sayTastewhatyou used(to) do
29:55
يَـٰعِبَادِىَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟إِنَّأَرْضِىوَٰسِعَةٌۭفَإِيَّـٰىَفَٱعْبُدُونِ
fa-uʿ'budūnifa-iyyāyawāsiʿatunarḍīinnaāmanūalladhīnayāʿibādiya
O My servantswhobelieveIndeedMy earth(is) spaciousso onlyworship Me
29:56
كُلُّنَفْسٍۢذَآئِقَةُٱلْمَوْتِ ۖثُمَّإِلَيْنَاتُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūnailaynāthummal-mawtidhāiqatunafsinkullu
Everysoul(will) tastethe deathThento Usyou will be returned
29:57
وَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِلَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُممِّنَٱلْجَنَّةِغُرَفًۭاتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَا ۚنِعْمَأَجْرُٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ
l-ʿāmilīnaajruniʿ'mafīhākhālidīnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrīghurafanl-janatiminalanubawwi-annahuml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūwa-alladhīna
And those whobelieveand do[the] righteous deedssurely We will give them a placeinParadiselofty dwellingsflowfromunderneath itthe riverswill abide foreverin itExcellent is(the) reward(of) the workers
29:58
ٱلَّذِينَصَبَرُوا۟وَعَلَىٰرَبِّهِمْيَتَوَكَّلُونَ
yatawakkalūnarabbihimwaʿalāṣabarūalladhīna
Those who(are) patientand upontheir Lordput their trust
29:59
وَكَأَيِّنمِّندَآبَّةٍۢلَّاتَحْمِلُرِزْقَهَاٱللَّهُيَرْزُقُهَاوَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚوَهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-samīʿuwahuwawa-iyyākumyarzuquhāl-lahuriz'qahātaḥmilulādābbatinminwaka-ayyin
And how manyofa creature(does) notcarryits provisionAllahprovides (for) itand (for) youAnd He(is) the All-Hearerthe All-Knower
29:60
وَلَئِنسَأَلْتَهُممَّنْخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَسَخَّرَٱلشَّمْسَوَٱلْقَمَرَلَيَقُولُنَّٱللَّهُ ۖفَأَنَّىٰيُؤْفَكُونَ
yu'fakūnafa-annāl-lahulayaqūlunnawal-qamaral-shamsawasakharawal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqamansa-altahumwala-in
And ifyou ask themWhocreatedthe heavensand the earthand subjectedthe sunand the moonSurely they would sayAllahThen howare they deluded
29:61
ٱللَّهُيَبْسُطُٱلرِّزْقَلِمَنيَشَآءُمِنْعِبَادِهِۦوَيَقْدِرُلَهُۥٓ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَبِكُلِّشَىْءٍعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunshayinbikullil-lahainnalahuwayaqdiruʿibādihiminyashāulimanl-riz'qayabsuṭual-lahu
Allahextendsthe provisionfor whomHe willsofHis slavesand restrictsfor himIndeedAllahof everything(is) All-Knower
29:62
وَلَئِنسَأَلْتَهُممَّننَّزَّلَمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۭفَأَحْيَابِهِٱلْأَرْضَمِنۢبَعْدِمَوْتِهَالَيَقُولُنَّٱللَّهُ ۚقُلِٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِ ۚبَلْأَكْثَرُهُمْلَايَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnalāaktharuhumballillahil-ḥamduqulil-lahulayaqūlunnamawtihābaʿdiminl-arḍabihifa-aḥyāmāanl-samāiminanazzalamansa-altahumwala-in
And ifyou ask themWhosends downfromthe skywaterand gives lifethereby(to) the earthafterafterits deathSurely, they would sayAllahSayAll Praises(are) for AllahButmost of them(do) notuse reason
29:63
وَمَاهَـٰذِهِٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَآإِلَّالَهْوٌۭوَلَعِبٌۭ ۚوَإِنَّٱلدَّارَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَلَهِىَٱلْحَيَوَانُ ۚلَوْكَانُوا۟يَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnakānūlawl-ḥayawānulahiyal-ākhiratal-dārawa-innawalaʿibunlahwunillāl-dun'yāl-ḥayatuhādhihiwamā
And not(is) thislife(of) the worldbutamusementand playAnd indeedthe Home(of) the Hereafter surely, it(is) the lifeif onlytheyknow
29:64
فَإِذَارَكِبُوا۟فِىٱلْفُلْكِدَعَوُا۟ٱللَّهَمُخْلِصِينَلَهُٱلدِّينَفَلَمَّانَجَّىٰهُمْإِلَىٱلْبَرِّإِذَاهُمْيُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūnahumidhāl-bariilānajjāhumfalammāl-dīnalahumukh'liṣīnal-lahadaʿawūl-ful'kifīrakibūfa-idhā
And whenthey embark[in]the shipthey callAllah(being) sincereto Him(in) the religionBut whenHe delivers themtothe landbeholdtheyassociate partners (with Him)
29:65
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟بِمَآءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْوَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ ۖفَسَوْفَيَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnafasawfawaliyatamattaʿūātaynāhumbimāliyakfurū
So that they may deny[in] whatWe have given themand they may enjoy (themselves)But soonthey will know
29:66
أَوَلَمْيَرَوْا۟أَنَّاجَعَلْنَاحَرَمًاءَامِنًۭاوَيُتَخَطَّفُٱلنَّاسُمِنْحَوْلِهِمْ ۚأَفَبِٱلْبَـٰطِلِيُؤْمِنُونَوَبِنِعْمَةِٱللَّهِيَكْفُرُونَ
yakfurūnal-lahiwabiniʿ'matiyu'minūnaafabil-bāṭiliḥawlihimminl-nāsuwayutakhaṭṭafuāminanḥaramanjaʿalnāannāyarawawalam
Do notthey seethat Wehave madea Sanctuarysecurewhile are being taken awaythe peoplearound themaround themThen do in (the) falsehoodthey believeand in (the) Favor(of) Allahthey disbelieve
29:67
وَمَنْأَظْلَمُمِمَّنِٱفْتَرَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِكَذِبًاأَوْكَذَّبَبِٱلْحَقِّلَمَّاجَآءَهُۥٓ ۚأَلَيْسَفِىجَهَنَّمَمَثْوًۭىلِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
lil'kāfirīnamathwanjahannamafīalaysajāahulammābil-ḥaqikadhabaawkadhibanl-lahiʿalāif'tarāmimmaniaẓlamuwaman
And who(is) more unjustthan (he) whoinventsagainstAllaha lieordeniesthe truthwhenit has come to himIs there notinHellan abodefor the disbelievers
29:68
وَٱلَّذِينَجَـٰهَدُوا۟فِينَالَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْسُبُلَنَا ۚوَإِنَّٱللَّهَلَمَعَٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnalamaʿal-lahawa-innasubulanālanahdiyannahumfīnājāhadūwa-alladhīna
And those whostrivefor UsWe will surely, guide them(to) Our waysAnd indeedAllahsurely (is) withthe good-doers
29:69

الٓمٓ

Alif Lam Meem
30:1
غُلِبَتِٱلرُّومُ
l-rūmughulibati
Have been defeatedthe Romans
30:2
فِىٓأَدْنَىٱلْأَرْضِوَهُممِّنۢبَعْدِغَلَبِهِمْسَيَغْلِبُونَ
sayaghlibūnaghalabihimbaʿdiminwahuml-arḍiadnāfī
In(the) nearestlandBut theyafteraftertheir defeatwill overcome
30:3
فِىبِضْعِسِنِينَ ۗلِلَّهِٱلْأَمْرُمِنقَبْلُوَمِنۢبَعْدُ ۚوَيَوْمَئِذٍۢيَفْرَحُٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
l-mu'minūnayafraḥuwayawma-idhinbaʿduwaminqabluminl-amrulillahisinīnabiḍ'ʿifī
Withina fewyearsFor Allah(is) the commandbeforebeforeand afterand afterAnd that daywill rejoicethe believers
30:4
بِنَصْرِٱللَّهِ ۚيَنصُرُمَنيَشَآءُ ۖوَهُوَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-ʿazīzuwahuwayashāumanyanṣurul-lahibinaṣri
With (the) help(of) AllahHe helpswhomHe willsAnd He(is) the All-Mightythe Most Merciful
30:5
وَعْدَٱللَّهِ ۖلَايُخْلِفُٱللَّهُوَعْدَهُۥوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَٱلنَّاسِلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāl-nāsiaktharawalākinnawaʿdahul-lahuyukh'lifulāl-lahiwaʿda
(It is the) Promise(of) Allah(Does) notfailAllah(in) His promisebutmost (of)[the] people(do) notknow
30:6
يَعْلَمُونَظَـٰهِرًۭامِّنَٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاوَهُمْعَنِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِهُمْغَـٰفِلُونَ
ghāfilūnahuml-ākhiratiʿaniwahuml-dun'yāl-ḥayatiminaẓāhiranyaʿlamūna
They know(the) apparentofthe life(of) the worldbut theyaboutthe Hereafter[they](are) heedless
30:7
أَوَلَمْيَتَفَكَّرُوا۟فِىٓأَنفُسِهِم ۗمَّاخَلَقَٱللَّهُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَمَابَيْنَهُمَآإِلَّابِٱلْحَقِّوَأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّۭى ۗوَإِنَّكَثِيرًۭامِّنَٱلنَّاسِبِلِقَآئِرَبِّهِمْلَكَـٰفِرُونَ
lakāfirūnarabbihimbiliqāil-nāsiminakathīranwa-innamusammanwa-ajalinbil-ḥaqiillābaynahumāwamāwal-arḍal-samāwātil-lahukhalaqamāanfusihimfīyatafakkarūawalam
Do notthey ponderwithinthemselvesNotAllah (has) createdAllah (has) createdthe heavensand the earthand what(is) between themexceptin truthand (for) a termappointedAnd indeedmanyofthe peoplein (the) meeting(with) their Lordsurely (are) disbelievers
30:8
أَوَلَمْيَسِيرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِفَيَنظُرُوا۟كَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۚكَانُوٓا۟أَشَدَّمِنْهُمْقُوَّةًۭوَأَثَارُوا۟ٱلْأَرْضَوَعَمَرُوهَآأَكْثَرَمِمَّاعَمَرُوهَاوَجَآءَتْهُمْرُسُلُهُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ۖفَمَاكَانَٱللَّهُلِيَظْلِمَهُمْوَلَـٰكِنكَانُوٓا۟أَنفُسَهُمْيَظْلِمُونَ
yaẓlimūnaanfusahumkānūwalākinliyaẓlimahuml-lahukānafamābil-bayinātirusuluhumwajāathumʿamarūhāmimmāaktharawaʿamarūhāl-arḍawa-athārūquwwatanmin'humashaddakānūqablihimminalladhīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafayanẓurūl-arḍifīyasīrūawalam
Have notthey traveledinthe earthand observedhowwas(the) end(of) thosebefore thembefore themThey weremightierthan them(in) strengthand they dugthe earthand built (on) itmorethan whatthey have built (on) itAnd came (to) themtheir Messengerswith clear proofsSo notwasAllahto wrong thembutthey werethemselves(doing) wrong
30:9
ثُمَّكَانَعَـٰقِبَةَٱلَّذِينَأَسَـٰٓـُٔوا۟ٱلسُّوٓأَىٰٓأَنكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِٱللَّهِوَكَانُوا۟بِهَايَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
yastahziūnabihāwakānūl-lahibiāyātikadhabūanl-sūāasāūalladhīnaʿāqibatakānathumma
Thenwas(the) end(of) those whodid evil the evilbecausethey denied(the) Signs(of) Allahand wereof themmaking mockery
30:10
ٱللَّهُيَبْدَؤُا۟ٱلْخَلْقَثُمَّيُعِيدُهُۥثُمَّإِلَيْهِتُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūnailayhithummayuʿīduhuthummal-khalqayabda-ual-lahu
Allahoriginatesthe creationthenHe repeats itthento Himyou will be returned
30:11
وَيَوْمَتَقُومُٱلسَّاعَةُيُبْلِسُٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
l-muj'rimūnayub'lisul-sāʿatutaqūmuwayawma
And (the) Daywill (be) establishedthe Hourwill (be in) despairthe criminals
30:12
وَلَمْيَكُنلَّهُممِّنشُرَكَآئِهِمْشُفَعَـٰٓؤُا۟وَكَانُوا۟بِشُرَكَآئِهِمْكَـٰفِرِينَ
kāfirīnabishurakāihimwakānūshufaʿāushurakāihimminlahumyakunwalam
And notwill befor themamongtheirs partnersany intercessorsand they will bein their partnersdisbelievers
30:13
وَيَوْمَتَقُومُٱلسَّاعَةُيَوْمَئِذٍۢيَتَفَرَّقُونَ
yatafarraqūnayawma-idhinl-sāʿatutaqūmuwayawma
And (the) Daywill (be) establishedthe Hourthat Daythey will become separated
30:14
فَأَمَّاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِفَهُمْفِىرَوْضَةٍۢيُحْبَرُونَ
yuḥ'barūnarawḍatinfīfahuml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnafa-ammā
Then as forthose whobelievedand didrighteous deedsso theyina Gardenwill be delighted
30:15
وَأَمَّاٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاوَلِقَآئِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَفِىٱلْعَذَابِمُحْضَرُونَ
muḥ'ḍarūnal-ʿadhābifīfa-ulāikal-ākhiratiwaliqāibiāyātināwakadhabūkafarūalladhīnawa-ammā
But as forthose whodisbelievedand deniedOur Signsand (the) meeting(of) the Hereafterthen thoseinthe punishment(will be) brought forth
30:16
فَسُبْحَـٰنَٱللَّهِحِينَتُمْسُونَوَحِينَتُصْبِحُونَ
tuṣ'biḥūnawaḥīnatum'sūnaḥīnal-lahifasub'ḥāna
So glory be toAllahwhenyou reach the eveningand whenyou reach the morning
30:17
وَلَهُٱلْحَمْدُفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِوَعَشِيًّۭاوَحِينَتُظْهِرُونَ
tuẓ'hirūnawaḥīnawaʿashiyyanwal-arḍil-samāwātifīl-ḥamduwalahu
And for Him(are) all praisesinthe heavensand the earthand (at) nightand whenyou are at noon
30:18
يُخْرِجُٱلْحَىَّمِنَٱلْمَيِّتِوَيُخْرِجُٱلْمَيِّتَمِنَٱلْحَىِّوَيُحْىِٱلْأَرْضَبَعْدَمَوْتِهَا ۚوَكَذَٰلِكَتُخْرَجُونَ
tukh'rajūnawakadhālikamawtihābaʿdal-arḍawayuḥ'yīl-ḥayiminal-mayitawayukh'rijul-mayitiminal-ḥayayukh'riju
He brings forththe livingfromthe deadand He brings forththe deadfromthe livingand He gives life(to) the earthafterits deathand thusyou will be brought forth
30:19
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓأَنْخَلَقَكُممِّنتُرَابٍۢثُمَّإِذَآأَنتُمبَشَرٌۭتَنتَشِرُونَ
tantashirūnabasharunantumidhāthummaturābinminkhalaqakumanāyātihiwamin
And amongHis Signs(is) thatHe created youfromdustthenbeholdYou(are) human beingsdispersing
30:20
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓأَنْخَلَقَلَكُممِّنْأَنفُسِكُمْأَزْوَٰجًۭالِّتَسْكُنُوٓا۟إِلَيْهَاوَجَعَلَبَيْنَكُممَّوَدَّةًۭوَرَحْمَةً ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkarūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnawaraḥmatanmawaddatanbaynakumwajaʿalailayhālitaskunūazwājananfusikumminlakumkhalaqaanāyātihiwamin
And amongHis Signs(is) thatHe createdfor youfromyourselvesmatesthat you may find tranquilityin themand He placedbetween youloveand mercyIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor a peoplewho reflect
30:21
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦخَلْقُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِوَٱخْتِلَـٰفُأَلْسِنَتِكُمْوَأَلْوَٰنِكُمْ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّلْعَـٰلِمِينَ
lil'ʿālimīnalaāyātindhālikafīinnawa-alwānikumalsinatikumwa-ikh'tilāfuwal-arḍil-samāwātikhalquāyātihiwamin
And amongHis Signs(is the) creation(of) the heavensand the earthand the diversity(of) your languagesand your colorsIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor those of knowledge
30:22
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦمَنَامُكُمبِٱلَّيْلِوَٱلنَّهَارِوَٱبْتِغَآؤُكُممِّنفَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيَسْمَعُونَ
yasmaʿūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnafaḍlihiminwa-ib'tighāukumwal-nahāribi-al-laylimanāmukumāyātihiwamin
And amongHis Signs(is) your sleepby nightand the day[and] your seekingofHis BountyIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor a peoplewho listen
30:23
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦيُرِيكُمُٱلْبَرْقَخَوْفًۭاوَطَمَعًۭاوَيُنَزِّلُمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۭفَيُحْىِۦبِهِٱلْأَرْضَبَعْدَمَوْتِهَآ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnamawtihābaʿdal-arḍabihifayuḥ'yīmāanl-samāiminawayunazziluwaṭamaʿankhawfanl-barqayurīkumuāyātihiwamin
And amongHis SignsHe shows youthe lightning(causing) fearand hopeand He sends downfromthe skywaterand gives lifetherewith(to) the earthafterits deathIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor a peoplewho use intellect
30:24
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓأَنتَقُومَٱلسَّمَآءُوَٱلْأَرْضُبِأَمْرِهِۦ ۚثُمَّإِذَادَعَاكُمْدَعْوَةًۭمِّنَٱلْأَرْضِإِذَآأَنتُمْتَخْرُجُونَ
takhrujūnaantumidhāl-arḍiminadaʿwatandaʿākumidhāthummabi-amrihiwal-arḍul-samāutaqūmaanāyātihiwamin
And amongHis Signs(is) thatstandsthe heavensand the earthby His CommandThenwhenHe calls you(with) a callfromthe earthbeholdYouwill come forth
30:25
وَلَهُۥمَنفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖكُلٌّۭلَّهُۥقَـٰنِتُونَ
qānitūnalahukullunwal-arḍil-samāwātifīmanwalahu
And to Him (belongs)whoever(is) inthe heavensand the earthAllto Him(are) obedient
30:26
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىيَبْدَؤُا۟ٱلْخَلْقَثُمَّيُعِيدُهُۥوَهُوَأَهْوَنُعَلَيْهِ ۚوَلَهُٱلْمَثَلُٱلْأَعْلَىٰفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚوَهُوَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿazīzuwahuwawal-arḍil-samāwātifīl-aʿlāl-mathaluwalahuʿalayhiahwanuwahuwayuʿīduhuthummal-khalqayabda-ualladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whooriginatesthe creationthenrepeats itand it(is) easierfor HimAnd for Him(is) the descriptionthe highestinthe heavensand the earthAnd He(is) the All-Mightythe All-Wise
30:27
ضَرَبَلَكُممَّثَلًۭامِّنْأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖهَللَّكُممِّنمَّامَلَكَتْأَيْمَـٰنُكُممِّنشُرَكَآءَفِىمَارَزَقْنَـٰكُمْفَأَنتُمْفِيهِسَوَآءٌۭتَخَافُونَهُمْكَخِيفَتِكُمْأَنفُسَكُمْ ۚكَذَٰلِكَنُفَصِّلُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلِقَوْمٍۢيَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnaliqawminl-āyātinufaṣṣilukadhālikaanfusakumkakhīfatikumtakhāfūnahumsawāonfīhifa-antumrazaqnākummāfīshurakāaminaymānukummalakatmāminlakumhalanfusikumminmathalanlakumḍaraba
He sets forthto youan examplefromyourselvesIsfor youamongwhatpossessyour right handsanypartnersinwhatWe have provided youso youin it(are) equalyou fear themas you fearyourselvesThusWe explainthe Versesfor a people(who) use reason
30:28
بَلِٱتَّبَعَٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوٓا۟أَهْوَآءَهُمبِغَيْرِعِلْمٍۢ ۖفَمَنيَهْدِىمَنْأَضَلَّٱللَّهُ ۖوَمَالَهُممِّننَّـٰصِرِينَ
nāṣirīnaminlahumwamāl-lahuaḍallamanyahdīfamanʿil'minbighayriahwāahumẓalamūalladhīnaittabaʿabali
Nayfollowthose whodo wrongtheir desireswithoutknowledgeThen who(can) guide(one) whomAllah has let go astrayAllah has let go astrayAnd notfor themanyhelpers
30:29
فَأَقِمْوَجْهَكَلِلدِّينِحَنِيفًۭا ۚفِطْرَتَٱللَّهِٱلَّتِىفَطَرَٱلنَّاسَعَلَيْهَا ۚلَاتَبْدِيلَلِخَلْقِٱللَّهِ ۚذَٰلِكَٱلدِّينُٱلْقَيِّمُوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَٱلنَّاسِلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāl-nāsiaktharawalākinnal-qayimul-dīnudhālikal-lahilikhalqitabdīlalāʿalayhāl-nāsafaṭaraallatīl-lahifiṭ'rataḥanīfanlilddīniwajhakafa-aqim
So setyour faceto the religionuprightNature(made by) Allah(upon) whichHe has createdmankind[on it]Nochange(should there be) in the creation(of) AllahThat(is) the religionthe correctbutmostmen(do) notknow
30:30
۞ مُنِيبِينَإِلَيْهِوَٱتَّقُوهُوَأَقِيمُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَلَاتَكُونُوا۟مِنَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
l-mush'rikīnaminatakūnūwalāl-ṣalatawa-aqīmūwa-ittaqūhuilayhimunībīna
Turningto Himand fear Himand establishthe prayerand (do) notbeofthe polytheists
30:31
مِنَٱلَّذِينَفَرَّقُوا۟دِينَهُمْوَكَانُوا۟شِيَعًۭا ۖكُلُّحِزْبٍۭبِمَالَدَيْهِمْفَرِحُونَ
fariḥūnaladayhimbimāḥiz'binkullushiyaʿanwakānūdīnahumfarraqūalladhīnamina
Ofthose whodividetheir religionand becomesectseachpartyin whatthey haverejoicing
30:32
وَإِذَامَسَّٱلنَّاسَضُرٌّۭدَعَوْا۟رَبَّهُممُّنِيبِينَإِلَيْهِثُمَّإِذَآأَذَاقَهُممِّنْهُرَحْمَةًإِذَافَرِيقٌۭمِّنْهُمبِرَبِّهِمْيُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūnabirabbihimmin'humfarīqunidhāraḥmatanmin'huadhāqahumidhāthummailayhimunībīnarabbahumdaʿawḍurrunl-nāsamassawa-idhā
And whentouchespeoplehardshipthey calltheir Lordturningto HimThenwhenHe causes them to tastefrom HimMercybeholdA partyof themwith their Lordassociate partners
30:33
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟بِمَآءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ ۚفَتَمَتَّعُوا۟فَسَوْفَتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnafasawfafatamattaʿūātaynāhumbimāliyakfurū
So as to deny[in] whatWe have granted themThen enjoybut soonyou will know
30:34
أَمْأَنزَلْنَاعَلَيْهِمْسُلْطَـٰنًۭافَهُوَيَتَكَلَّمُبِمَاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūnabihikānūbimāyatakallamufahuwasul'ṭānanʿalayhimanzalnāam
Orhave We sentto theman authorityand itspeaksof whatthey werewith Himassociating
30:35
وَإِذَآأَذَقْنَاٱلنَّاسَرَحْمَةًۭفَرِحُوا۟بِهَا ۖوَإِنتُصِبْهُمْسَيِّئَةٌۢبِمَاقَدَّمَتْأَيْدِيهِمْإِذَاهُمْيَقْنَطُونَ
yaqnaṭūnahumidhāaydīhimqaddamatbimāsayyi-atuntuṣib'humwa-inbihāfariḥūraḥmatanl-nāsaadhaqnāwa-idhā
And whenWe cause people to tasteWe cause people to tastemercythey rejoicethereinBut ifafflicts theman evilfor whathave sent forththeir handsbeholdTheydespair
30:36
أَوَلَمْيَرَوْا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَيَبْسُطُٱلرِّزْقَلِمَنيَشَآءُوَيَقْدِرُ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnawayaqdiruyashāulimanl-riz'qayabsuṭul-lahaannayarawawalam
Do notthey seethatAllahextendsthe provisionfor whomHe willsand straitens (it)Indeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor a peoplewho believe
30:37
فَـَٔاتِذَاٱلْقُرْبَىٰحَقَّهُۥوَٱلْمِسْكِينَوَٱبْنَٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚذَٰلِكَخَيْرٌۭلِّلَّذِينَيُرِيدُونَوَجْهَٱللَّهِ ۖوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
l-muf'liḥūnahumuwa-ulāikal-lahiwajhayurīdūnalilladhīnakhayrundhālikal-sabīliwa-ib'nawal-mis'kīnaḥaqqahul-qur'bādhāfaāti
So givethe relativethe relativehis rightand the poorand the wayfarerand the wayfarerThat(is) bestfor those whodesire(the) Countenance(of) AllahAnd thosethey(are) the successful ones
30:38
وَمَآءَاتَيْتُممِّنرِّبًۭالِّيَرْبُوَا۟فِىٓأَمْوَٰلِٱلنَّاسِفَلَايَرْبُوا۟عِندَٱللَّهِ ۖوَمَآءَاتَيْتُممِّنزَكَوٰةٍۢتُرِيدُونَوَجْهَٱللَّهِفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلْمُضْعِفُونَ
l-muḍ'ʿifūnahumufa-ulāikal-lahiwajhaturīdūnazakatinminātaytumwamāl-lahiʿindayarbūfalāl-nāsiamwālifīliyarbuwāribanminātaytumwamā
And whatyou giveforusuryto increasein(the) wealth(of) peoplenot(will) increasewithAllahBut whatyou giveofzakahdesiring(the) Countenance(of) Allahthen those[they](will) get manifold
30:39
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىخَلَقَكُمْثُمَّرَزَقَكُمْثُمَّيُمِيتُكُمْثُمَّيُحْيِيكُمْ ۖهَلْمِنشُرَكَآئِكُممَّنيَفْعَلُمِنذَٰلِكُممِّنشَىْءٍۢ ۚسُبْحَـٰنَهُۥوَتَعَـٰلَىٰعَمَّايُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūnaʿammāwataʿālāsub'ḥānahushayinmindhālikumminyafʿalumanshurakāikumminhalyuḥ'yīkumthummayumītukumthummarazaqakumthummakhalaqakumalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whocreated youthenHe provided (for) youthenHe will cause you to diethenHe will give you lifeIs (there)any(of) your partnerswhodoesofthatanythingGlory be to Himand exalted is Heabove whatthey associate
30:40
ظَهَرَٱلْفَسَادُفِىٱلْبَرِّوَٱلْبَحْرِبِمَاكَسَبَتْأَيْدِىٱلنَّاسِلِيُذِيقَهُمبَعْضَٱلَّذِىعَمِلُوا۟لَعَلَّهُمْيَرْجِعُونَ
yarjiʿūnalaʿallahumʿamilūalladhībaʿḍaliyudhīqahuml-nāsiaydīkasabatbimāwal-baḥril-barifīl-fasāduẓahara
Has appearedthe corruptioninthe landand the seafor whathave earned(the) hands(of) peopleso that He may let them tastea part(of) that whichthey have doneso that they mayreturn
30:41
قُلْسِيرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِفَٱنظُرُوا۟كَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلُ ۚكَانَأَكْثَرُهُممُّشْرِكِينَ
mush'rikīnaaktharuhumkānaqabluminalladhīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafa-unẓurūl-arḍifīsīrūqul
SayTravelinthe earthand seehowwas(the) end(of) those who(were) before(were) beforeMost of them wereMost of them werepolytheists
30:42
فَأَقِمْوَجْهَكَلِلدِّينِٱلْقَيِّمِمِنقَبْلِأَنيَأْتِىَيَوْمٌۭلَّامَرَدَّلَهُۥمِنَٱللَّهِ ۖيَوْمَئِذٍۢيَصَّدَّعُونَ
yaṣṣaddaʿūnayawma-idhinl-lahiminalahumaraddalāyawmunyatiyaanqabliminl-qayimililddīniwajhakafa-aqim
So setyour faceto the religionrightbeforebefore[that]comesa Daynot(can be) averted[it]fromAllahThat Daythey will be divided
30:43
مَنكَفَرَفَعَلَيْهِكُفْرُهُۥ ۖوَمَنْعَمِلَصَـٰلِحًۭافَلِأَنفُسِهِمْيَمْهَدُونَ
yamhadūnafali-anfusihimṣāliḥanʿamilawamankuf'ruhufaʿalayhikafaraman
Whoeverdisbelievesthen against him(is) his disbeliefAnd whoeverdoesrighteousnessthen for themselvesthey are preparing
30:44
لِيَجْزِىَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِمِنفَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚإِنَّهُۥلَايُحِبُّٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīnayuḥibbulāinnahufaḍlihiminl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnaliyajziya
That He may rewardthose whobelieveand dorighteous deeds(out) ofHis BountyIndeed, He(does) notlikethe disbelievers
30:45
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓأَنيُرْسِلَٱلرِّيَاحَمُبَشِّرَٰتٍۢوَلِيُذِيقَكُممِّنرَّحْمَتِهِۦوَلِتَجْرِىَٱلْفُلْكُبِأَمْرِهِۦوَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟مِنفَضْلِهِۦوَلَعَلَّكُمْتَشْكُرُونَ
tashkurūnawalaʿallakumfaḍlihiminwalitabtaghūbi-amrihil-ful'kuwalitajriyaraḥmatihiminwaliyudhīqakummubashirātinl-riyāḥayur'silaanāyātihiwamin
And amongHis Signs(is) thatHe sendsthe winds(as) bearers of glad tidingsand to let you tasteofHis Mercyand that may sailthe shipsat His Commandand that you may seekofHis Bountyand that you maybe grateful
30:46
وَلَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَامِنقَبْلِكَرُسُلًاإِلَىٰقَوْمِهِمْفَجَآءُوهُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِفَٱنتَقَمْنَامِنَٱلَّذِينَأَجْرَمُوا۟ ۖوَكَانَحَقًّاعَلَيْنَانَصْرُٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīnanaṣruʿalaynāḥaqqanwakānaajramūalladhīnaminafa-intaqamnābil-bayinātifajāūhumqawmihimilārusulanqablikaminarsalnāwalaqad
And verilyWe sentbefore youbefore youMessengerstotheir peopleand they came to themwith clear proofsthen We took retributionfromthose whocommitted crimesAnd it wasincumbentupon Us(to) helpthe believers
30:47
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىيُرْسِلُٱلرِّيَـٰحَفَتُثِيرُسَحَابًۭافَيَبْسُطُهُۥفِىٱلسَّمَآءِكَيْفَيَشَآءُوَيَجْعَلُهُۥكِسَفًۭافَتَرَىٱلْوَدْقَيَخْرُجُمِنْخِلَـٰلِهِۦ ۖفَإِذَآأَصَابَبِهِۦمَنيَشَآءُمِنْعِبَادِهِۦٓإِذَاهُمْيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
yastabshirūnahumidhāʿibādihiminyashāumanbihiaṣābafa-idhākhilālihiminyakhrujul-wadqafatarākisafanwayajʿaluhuyashāukayfal-samāifīfayabsuṭuhusaḥābanfatuthīrul-riyāḥayur'silualladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whosendsthe windsso they raise(the) cloudsthen He spreads theminthe skyhowHe willsand He makes themfragmentsso you seethe raincoming forthfromtheir midstThen whenHe causes it to fall onHe causes it to fall onwhomHe willsofHis slavesbeholdTheyrejoice
30:48
وَإِنكَانُوا۟مِنقَبْلِأَنيُنَزَّلَعَلَيْهِممِّنقَبْلِهِۦلَمُبْلِسِينَ
lamub'lisīnaqablihiminʿalayhimyunazzalaanqabliminkānūwa-in
And certainlythey werebeforebefore[that]it was sent downupon them[before it][before it]surely in despair
30:49
فَٱنظُرْإِلَىٰٓءَاثَـٰرِرَحْمَتِٱللَّهِكَيْفَيُحْىِٱلْأَرْضَبَعْدَمَوْتِهَآ ۚإِنَّذَٰلِكَلَمُحْىِٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۖوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrunshayinkulliʿalāwahuwal-mawtālamuḥ'yīdhālikainnamawtihābaʿdal-arḍayuḥ'yīkayfal-lahiraḥmatiāthāriilāfa-unẓur
So lookat(the) effects(of the) Mercy(of) AllahhowHe gives life(to) the earthafterits deathIndeedthatsurely He (will) give life(to) the deadAnd He(is) oneverythingAll-Powerful
30:50
وَلَئِنْأَرْسَلْنَارِيحًۭافَرَأَوْهُمُصْفَرًّۭالَّظَلُّوا۟مِنۢبَعْدِهِۦيَكْفُرُونَ
yakfurūnabaʿdihiminlaẓallūmuṣ'farranfara-awhurīḥanarsalnāwala-in
But ifWe senta windand they see itturn yellowcertainly they continueafter itafter it(in) disbelief
30:51
فَإِنَّكَلَاتُسْمِعُٱلْمَوْتَىٰوَلَاتُسْمِعُٱلصُّمَّٱلدُّعَآءَإِذَاوَلَّوْا۟مُدْبِرِينَ
mud'birīnawallawidhāl-duʿāal-ṣumatus'miʿuwalāl-mawtātus'miʿulāfa-innaka
So indeed, you(can) notmake the dead hearmake the dead hearand notmake the deaf hearmake the deaf hearthe callwhenthey turnretreating
30:52
وَمَآأَنتَبِهَـٰدِٱلْعُمْىِعَنضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖإِنتُسْمِعُإِلَّامَنيُؤْمِنُبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَافَهُممُّسْلِمُونَ
mus'limūnafahumbiāyātināyu'minumanillātus'miʿuinḍalālatihimʿanl-ʿum'yibihādiantawamā
And notyoucan guidethe blindfromtheir errorNotyou can make hearexcept(those) whobelievein Our Versesso theysurrender
30:53
۞ ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىخَلَقَكُممِّنضَعْفٍۢثُمَّجَعَلَمِنۢبَعْدِضَعْفٍۢقُوَّةًۭثُمَّجَعَلَمِنۢبَعْدِقُوَّةٍۢضَعْفًۭاوَشَيْبَةًۭ ۚيَخْلُقُمَايَشَآءُ ۖوَهُوَٱلْعَلِيمُٱلْقَدِيرُ
l-qadīrul-ʿalīmuwahuwayashāumāyakhluquwashaybatanḍaʿfanquwwatinbaʿdiminjaʿalathummaquwwatanḍaʿfinbaʿdiminjaʿalathummaḍaʿfinminkhalaqakumalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whocreated youfromweaknessthenmadeafterafterweaknessstrengththenmadeafterafterstrengthweaknessand gray hairHe createswhatHe willsand He(is) the All-Knowerthe All-Powerful
30:54
وَيَوْمَتَقُومُٱلسَّاعَةُيُقْسِمُٱلْمُجْرِمُونَمَالَبِثُوا۟غَيْرَسَاعَةٍۢ ۚكَذَٰلِكَكَانُوا۟يُؤْفَكُونَ
yu'fakūnakānūkadhālikasāʿatinghayralabithūmāl-muj'rimūnayuq'simul-sāʿatutaqūmuwayawma
And (the) Daywill (be) establishedthe Hourwill swearthe criminalsnotthey remainedbutan hourThusthey weredeluded
30:55
وَقَالَٱلَّذِينَأُوتُوا۟ٱلْعِلْمَوَٱلْإِيمَـٰنَلَقَدْلَبِثْتُمْفِىكِتَـٰبِٱللَّهِإِلَىٰيَوْمِٱلْبَعْثِ ۖفَهَـٰذَايَوْمُٱلْبَعْثِوَلَـٰكِنَّكُمْكُنتُمْلَاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalākuntumwalākinnakuml-baʿthiyawmufahādhāl-baʿthiyawmiilāl-lahikitābifīlabith'tumlaqadwal-īmānal-ʿil'maūtūalladhīnawaqāla
But will saythose whowere giventhe knowledgeand the faithVerilyyou remainedby(the) Decree(of) Allahuntil(the) Day(of) ResurrectionAnd this(is the) Day(of) the Resurrectionbut youwerenotknowing
30:56
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢلَّايَنفَعُٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟مَعْذِرَتُهُمْوَلَاهُمْيُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
yus'taʿtabūnahumwalāmaʿdhiratuhumẓalamūalladhīnayanfaʿulāfayawma-idhin
So that Daynotwill profitthose whowrongedtheir excusesand nottheywill be allowed to make amends
30:57
وَلَقَدْضَرَبْنَالِلنَّاسِفِىهَـٰذَاٱلْقُرْءَانِمِنكُلِّمَثَلٍۢ ۚوَلَئِنجِئْتَهُمبِـَٔايَةٍۢلَّيَقُولَنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟إِنْأَنتُمْإِلَّامُبْطِلُونَ
mub'ṭilūnaillāantuminkafarūalladhīnalayaqūlannabiāyatinji'tahumwala-inmathalinkulliminl-qur'ānihādhāfīlilnnāsiḍarabnāwalaqad
And verilyWe (have) set forthfor mankindinthis [the] QuranofeveryexampleBut ifyou bring thema signsurely will saythose whodisbelieveNotyou(are) exceptfalsifiers
30:58
كَذَٰلِكَيَطْبَعُٱللَّهُعَلَىٰقُلُوبِٱلَّذِينَلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāalladhīnaqulūbiʿalāl-lahuyaṭbaʿukadhālika
ThusAllah sealsAllah seals[on](the) hearts(of) those who(do) notknow
30:59
فَٱصْبِرْإِنَّوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقٌّۭ ۖوَلَايَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَٱلَّذِينَلَايُوقِنُونَ
yūqinūnalāalladhīnayastakhiffannakawalāḥaqqunl-lahiwaʿdainnafa-iṣ'bir
So be patientIndeed(the) Promise(of) Allah(is) trueAnd (let) nottake you in light estimationthose who(are) notcertain in faith
30:60

Alif Lam Meem
31:1
تِلْكَءَايَـٰتُٱلْكِتَـٰبِٱلْحَكِيمِ
l-ḥakīmil-kitābiāyātutil'ka
These(are) Verses(of) the Bookthe Wise
31:2
هُدًۭىوَرَحْمَةًۭلِّلْمُحْسِنِينَ
lil'muḥ'sinīnawaraḥmatanhudan
A guidanceand a mercyfor the good-doers
31:3
ٱلَّذِينَيُقِيمُونَٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَيُؤْتُونَٱلزَّكَوٰةَوَهُمبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِهُمْيُوقِنُونَ
yūqinūnahumbil-ākhiratiwahuml-zakatawayu'tūnal-ṣalatayuqīmūnaalladhīna
Those whoestablishthe prayerand givezakahand theyin the Hereafter[they]believe firmly
31:4
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَعَلَىٰهُدًۭىمِّنرَّبِّهِمْ ۖوَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
l-muf'liḥūnahumuwa-ulāikarabbihimminhudanʿalāulāika
Those(are) onguidancefromtheir Lordand those[they](are) the successful
31:5
وَمِنَٱلنَّاسِمَنيَشْتَرِىلَهْوَٱلْحَدِيثِلِيُضِلَّعَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِبِغَيْرِعِلْمٍۢوَيَتَّخِذَهَاهُزُوًا ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَهُمْعَذَابٌۭمُّهِينٌۭ
muhīnunʿadhābunlahumulāikahuzuwanwayattakhidhahāʿil'minbighayril-lahisabīliʿanliyuḍillal-ḥadīthilahwayashtarīmanl-nāsiwamina
And ofthe mankind(is he) whopurchasesidle talesidle talesto misleadfrom(the) path(of) Allahwithoutknowledgeand takes it(in) ridiculeThosefor them(is) a punishmenthumiliating
31:6
وَإِذَاتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِءَايَـٰتُنَاوَلَّىٰمُسْتَكْبِرًۭاكَأَنلَّمْيَسْمَعْهَاكَأَنَّفِىٓأُذُنَيْهِوَقْرًۭا ۖفَبَشِّرْهُبِعَذَابٍأَلِيمٍ
alīminbiʿadhābinfabashir'huwaqranudhunayhifīka-annayasmaʿhālamka-anmus'takbiranwallāāyātunāʿalayhitut'lāwa-idhā
And whenare recitedto himOur Verseshe turns awayarrogantlyas ifnothe (had) heard themas ifinhis ears(is) deafnessSo give him tidingsof a punishmentpainful
31:7
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِلَهُمْجَنَّـٰتُٱلنَّعِيمِ
l-naʿīmijannātulahuml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whobelieveand dorighteous deedsfor them(are) Gardens(of) Delight
31:8
خَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَا ۖوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقًّۭا ۚوَهُوَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿazīzuwahuwaḥaqqanl-lahiwaʿdafīhākhālidīna
(To) abide foreverin it(The) Promise of Allah(The) Promise of Allah(is) trueAnd He(is) the All-Mightythe All-Wise
31:9
خَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِبِغَيْرِعَمَدٍۢتَرَوْنَهَا ۖوَأَلْقَىٰفِىٱلْأَرْضِرَوَٰسِىَأَنتَمِيدَبِكُمْوَبَثَّفِيهَامِنكُلِّدَآبَّةٍۢ ۚوَأَنزَلْنَامِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۭفَأَنۢبَتْنَافِيهَامِنكُلِّزَوْجٍۢكَرِيمٍ
karīminzawjinkulliminfīhāfa-anbatnāmāanl-samāiminawa-anzalnādābbatinkulliminfīhāwabathabikumtamīdaanrawāsiyal-arḍifīwa-alqātarawnahāʿamadinbighayril-samāwātikhalaqa
He createdthe heavenswithoutpillarsthat you seeand has castinthe earthfirm mountainslestit (might) shakewith youand He dispersedin itfromeverycreatureAnd We sent downfromthe skywaterthen We caused to growthereinofeverykindnoble
31:10
هَـٰذَاخَلْقُٱللَّهِفَأَرُونِىمَاذَاخَلَقَٱلَّذِينَمِندُونِهِۦ ۚبَلِٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninḍalālinfīl-ẓālimūnabalidūnihiminalladhīnakhalaqamādhāfa-arūnīl-lahikhalquhādhā
This(is the) creation(of) AllahSo show Mewhathave createdthosebesides Himbesides HimNaythe wrongdoers(are) inerrorclear
31:11
وَلَقَدْءَاتَيْنَالُقْمَـٰنَٱلْحِكْمَةَأَنِٱشْكُرْلِلَّهِ ۚوَمَنيَشْكُرْفَإِنَّمَايَشْكُرُلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖوَمَنكَفَرَفَإِنَّٱللَّهَغَنِىٌّحَمِيدٌۭ
ḥamīdunghaniyyunl-lahafa-innakafarawamanlinafsihiyashkurufa-innamāyashkurwamanlillahiush'kuranil-ḥik'mataluq'mānaātaynāwalaqad
And verilyWe gaveLuqmanthe wisdomthatBe gratefulto AllahAnd whoever(is) gratefulthen onlyhe is gratefulfor himselfAnd whoever(is) ungratefulthen indeedAllah(is) Free of needPraiseworthy
31:12
وَإِذْقَالَلُقْمَـٰنُلِٱبْنِهِۦوَهُوَيَعِظُهُۥيَـٰبُنَىَّلَاتُشْرِكْبِٱللَّهِ ۖإِنَّٱلشِّرْكَلَظُلْمٌعَظِيمٌۭ
ʿaẓīmunlaẓul'munl-shir'kainnabil-lahitush'riklāyābunayyayaʿiẓuhuwahuwali-ib'nihiluq'mānuqālawa-idh
And whensaidLuqmanto his sonwhile he(was) instructing himO my son(Do) notassociate partnerswith AllahIndeedassociating partners(is) surely an injusticegreat
31:13
وَوَصَّيْنَاٱلْإِنسَـٰنَبِوَٰلِدَيْهِحَمَلَتْهُأُمُّهُۥوَهْنًاعَلَىٰوَهْنٍۢوَفِصَـٰلُهُۥفِىعَامَيْنِأَنِٱشْكُرْلِىوَلِوَٰلِدَيْكَإِلَىَّٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīruilayyawaliwālidaykalīush'kuraniʿāmaynifīwafiṣāluhuwahninʿalāwahnanummuhuḥamalathubiwālidayhil-insānawawaṣṣaynā
And We have enjoined(upon) manfor his parents carried himhis mother(in) weaknessuponweaknessand his weaning(is) intwo yearsthatBe gratefulto Meand to your parentstowards Me(is) the destination
31:14
وَإِنجَـٰهَدَاكَعَلَىٰٓأَنتُشْرِكَبِىمَالَيْسَلَكَبِهِۦعِلْمٌۭفَلَاتُطِعْهُمَا ۖوَصَاحِبْهُمَافِىٱلدُّنْيَامَعْرُوفًۭا ۖوَٱتَّبِعْسَبِيلَمَنْأَنَابَإِلَىَّ ۚثُمَّإِلَىَّمَرْجِعُكُمْفَأُنَبِّئُكُمبِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāfa-unabbi-ukummarjiʿukumilayyathummailayyaanābamansabīlawa-ittabiʿmaʿrūfanl-dun'yāfīwaṣāḥib'humātuṭiʿ'humāfalāʿil'munbihilakalaysamābītush'rikaanʿalājāhadākawa-in
But ifthey strive against youonthatyou associate partnerswith Mewhatnotyou haveof itany knowledgethen (do) notobey both of themBut accompany theminthe world(with) kindnessand follow(the) path(of him) whoturnsto MeThentowards Me(is) your returnthen I will inform youof whatyou used (to)do
31:15
يَـٰبُنَىَّإِنَّهَآإِنتَكُمِثْقَالَحَبَّةٍۢمِّنْخَرْدَلٍۢفَتَكُنفِىصَخْرَةٍأَوْفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِأَوْفِىٱلْأَرْضِيَأْتِبِهَاٱللَّهُ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَلَطِيفٌخَبِيرٌۭ
khabīrunlaṭīfunl-lahainnal-lahubihāyatil-arḍifīawl-samāwātifīawṣakhratinfīfatakunkhardalinminḥabbatinmith'qālatakuininnahāyābunayya
O my sonIndeed itifit be(the) weight(of) a grainofa mustard seedand it beina rockorinthe heavensorinthe earthAllah will bring it forthAllah will bring it forthAllah will bring it forthIndeedAllah(is) All-SubtleAll-Aware
31:16
يَـٰبُنَىَّأَقِمِٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَأْمُرْبِٱلْمَعْرُوفِوَٱنْهَعَنِٱلْمُنكَرِوَٱصْبِرْعَلَىٰمَآأَصَابَكَ ۖإِنَّذَٰلِكَمِنْعَزْمِٱلْأُمُورِ
l-umūriʿazmimindhālikainnaaṣābakamāʿalāwa-iṣ'birl-munkariʿaniwa-in'habil-maʿrūfiwamurl-ṣalataaqimiyābunayya
O my sonEstablishthe prayerand enjoin[with] the rightand forbidfromthe wrongand be patientoverwhatbefalls youIndeedthat(is) ofthe matters requiring determinationthe matters requiring determination
31:17
وَلَاتُصَعِّرْخَدَّكَلِلنَّاسِوَلَاتَمْشِفِىٱلْأَرْضِمَرَحًا ۖإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايُحِبُّكُلَّمُخْتَالٍۢفَخُورٍۢ
fakhūrinmukh'tālinkullayuḥibbulāl-lahainnamaraḥanl-arḍifītamshiwalālilnnāsikhaddakatuṣaʿʿirwalā
And (do) notturnyour cheekfrom menand (do) notwalkinthe earthexultantlyIndeedAllah(does) notlikeeveryself-conceitedboaster
31:18
وَٱقْصِدْفِىمَشْيِكَوَٱغْضُضْمِنصَوْتِكَ ۚإِنَّأَنكَرَٱلْأَصْوَٰتِلَصَوْتُٱلْحَمِيرِ
l-ḥamīrilaṣawtul-aṣwātiankarainnaṣawtikaminwa-ugh'ḍuḍmashyikafīwa-iq'ṣid
And be moderateinyour paceand lower[of]your voiceIndeed(the) harshest(of all) sounds(is) surely (the) voice(of) the donkeys
31:19
أَلَمْتَرَوْا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَسَخَّرَلَكُممَّافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِوَأَسْبَغَعَلَيْكُمْنِعَمَهُۥظَـٰهِرَةًۭوَبَاطِنَةًۭ ۗوَمِنَٱلنَّاسِمَنيُجَـٰدِلُفِىٱللَّهِبِغَيْرِعِلْمٍۢوَلَاهُدًۭىوَلَاكِتَـٰبٍۢمُّنِيرٍۢ
munīrinkitābinwalāhudanwalāʿil'minbighayril-lahifīyujādilumanl-nāsiwaminawabāṭinatanẓāhiratanniʿamahuʿalaykumwa-asbaghal-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmālakumsakharal-lahaannatarawalam
Do notyou seethatAllahhas subjectedto youwhatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earthand amply bestowedupon youHis Bountiesapparentand hiddenBut ofthe people(is he) whodisputesaboutAllahwithoutknowledgeand notguidanceand nota bookenlightening
31:20
وَإِذَاقِيلَلَهُمُٱتَّبِعُوا۟مَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُقَالُوا۟بَلْنَتَّبِعُمَاوَجَدْنَاعَلَيْهِءَابَآءَنَآ ۚأَوَلَوْكَانَٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُيَدْعُوهُمْإِلَىٰعَذَابِٱلسَّعِيرِ
l-saʿīriʿadhābiilāyadʿūhuml-shayṭānukānaawalawābāanāʿalayhiwajadnāmānattabiʿubalqālūl-lahuanzalamāittabiʿūlahumuqīlawa-idhā
And whenit is saidto themFollowwhatAllah (has) revealedAllah (has) revealedthey sayNaywe will followwhatwe foundon itour forefathersEven ifShaitaan wasShaitaan was(to) call themto(the) punishment(of) the Blaze
31:21
۞ وَمَنيُسْلِمْوَجْهَهُۥٓإِلَىٱللَّهِوَهُوَمُحْسِنٌۭفَقَدِٱسْتَمْسَكَبِٱلْعُرْوَةِٱلْوُثْقَىٰ ۗوَإِلَىٱللَّهِعَـٰقِبَةُٱلْأُمُورِ
l-umūriʿāqibatul-lahiwa-ilāl-wuth'qābil-ʿur'watiis'tamsakafaqadimuḥ'sinunwahuwal-lahiilāwajhahuyus'limwaman
And whoeversubmitshis facetoAllahwhile he(is) a good-doerthen indeedhe has graspedthe handholdthe most trustworthyAnd toAllah(is the) end(of) the matters
31:22
وَمَنكَفَرَفَلَايَحْزُنكَكُفْرُهُۥٓ ۚإِلَيْنَامَرْجِعُهُمْفَنُنَبِّئُهُمبِمَاعَمِلُوٓا۟ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَعَلِيمٌۢبِذَاتِٱلصُّدُورِ
l-ṣudūribidhātiʿalīmunl-lahainnaʿamilūbimāfanunabbi-uhummarjiʿuhumilaynākuf'ruhuyaḥzunkafalākafarawaman
And whoeverdisbelieveslet notgrieve youhis disbeliefTo Us(is) their returnthen We will inform themof whatthey didIndeedAllah(is) the All-Knowerof what(is in) the breasts
31:23
نُمَتِّعُهُمْقَلِيلًۭاثُمَّنَضْطَرُّهُمْإِلَىٰعَذَابٍغَلِيظٍۢ
ghalīẓinʿadhābinilānaḍṭarruhumthummaqalīlannumattiʿuhum
We grant them enjoyment(for) a littlethenWe will force themtoa punishmentsevere
31:24
وَلَئِنسَأَلْتَهُممَّنْخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَلَيَقُولُنَّٱللَّهُ ۚقُلِٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِ ۚبَلْأَكْثَرُهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāaktharuhumballillahil-ḥamduqulil-lahulayaqūlunnawal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqamansa-altahumwala-in
And ifyou ask themWhocreatedthe heavensand the earthThey will surely sayAllahSayAll praises(are) for AllahButmost of them(do) notknow
31:25
لِلَّهِمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلْغَنِىُّٱلْحَمِيدُ
l-ḥamīdul-ghaniyuhuwal-lahainnawal-arḍil-samāwātifīmālillahi
To Allah (belongs)whatever(is) inthe heavensand the earthIndeedAllahHe(is) Free of needthe Praiseworthy
31:26
وَلَوْأَنَّمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِمِنشَجَرَةٍأَقْلَـٰمٌۭوَٱلْبَحْرُيَمُدُّهُۥمِنۢبَعْدِهِۦسَبْعَةُأَبْحُرٍۢمَّانَفِدَتْكَلِمَـٰتُٱللَّهِ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَعَزِيزٌحَكِيمٌۭ
ḥakīmunʿazīzunl-lahainnal-lahikalimātunafidatmāabḥurinsabʿatubaʿdihiminyamudduhuwal-baḥruaqlāmunshajaratinminl-arḍifīannamāwalaw
And ifwhatever(is) inthe earthof(the) trees(were) pensand the sea(to) add to itafter itafter itsevenseasnotwould be exhausted(the) Words(of) AllahIndeedAllah(is) All-MightyAll-Wise
31:27
مَّاخَلْقُكُمْوَلَابَعْثُكُمْإِلَّاكَنَفْسٍۢوَٰحِدَةٍ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَسَمِيعٌۢبَصِيرٌ
baṣīrunsamīʿunl-lahainnawāḥidatinkanafsinillābaʿthukumwalākhalqukummā
Not(is) your creationand notyour resurrectionbutas a soulsingleIndeedAllah(is) All-HearerAll-Seer
31:28
أَلَمْتَرَأَنَّٱللَّهَيُولِجُٱلَّيْلَفِىٱلنَّهَارِوَيُولِجُٱلنَّهَارَفِىٱلَّيْلِوَسَخَّرَٱلشَّمْسَوَٱلْقَمَرَكُلٌّۭيَجْرِىٓإِلَىٰٓأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّۭىوَأَنَّٱللَّهَبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَخَبِيرٌۭ
khabīruntaʿmalūnabimāl-lahawa-annamusammanajalinilāyajrīkullunwal-qamaral-shamsawasakharaal-laylifīl-nahārawayūlijul-nahārifīal-laylayūlijul-lahaannataraalam
Do notyou seethatAllahcauses to enterthe nightintothe dayand causes to enterthe dayintothe nightand has subjectedthe sunand the mooneachmovingfora termappointedand thatAllahof whatyou do(is) All-Aware
31:29
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلْحَقُّوَأَنَّمَايَدْعُونَمِندُونِهِٱلْبَـٰطِلُوَأَنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلْعَلِىُّٱلْكَبِيرُ
l-kabīrul-ʿaliyuhuwal-lahawa-annal-bāṭiludūnihiminyadʿūnamāwa-annal-ḥaquhuwal-lahabi-annadhālika
That(is) becauseAllahHe(is) the Truthand thatwhatthey callbesides Himbesides Him(is) [the] falsehoodand thatAllahHe(is) the Most Highthe Most Great
31:30
أَلَمْتَرَأَنَّٱلْفُلْكَتَجْرِىفِىٱلْبَحْرِبِنِعْمَتِٱللَّهِلِيُرِيَكُممِّنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّكُلِّصَبَّارٍۢشَكُورٍۢ
shakūrinṣabbārinlikullilaāyātindhālikafīinnaāyātihiminliyuriyakuml-lahibiniʿ'matil-baḥrifītajrīl-ful'kaannataraalam
Do notyou seethatthe shipssailthroughthe seaby (the) Grace(of) Allahthat He may show youofHis SignsIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor everyone(who is) patientgrateful
31:31
وَإِذَاغَشِيَهُممَّوْجٌۭكَٱلظُّلَلِدَعَوُا۟ٱللَّهَمُخْلِصِينَلَهُٱلدِّينَفَلَمَّانَجَّىٰهُمْإِلَىٱلْبَرِّفَمِنْهُممُّقْتَصِدٌۭ ۚوَمَايَجْحَدُبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآإِلَّاكُلُّخَتَّارٍۢكَفُورٍۢ
kafūrinkhattārinkulluillābiāyātināyajḥaduwamāmuq'taṣidunfamin'huml-bariilānajjāhumfalammāl-dīnalahumukh'liṣīnal-lahadaʿawūkal-ẓulalimawjunghashiyahumwa-idhā
And whencovers thema wavelike canopiesthey callAllah(being) sincereto Him(in) religionBut whenHe delivers themtothe landthen among them(some are) moderateAnd notdenyOur Signsexcepteverytraitorungrateful
31:32
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُٱتَّقُوا۟رَبَّكُمْوَٱخْشَوْا۟يَوْمًۭالَّايَجْزِىوَالِدٌعَنوَلَدِهِۦوَلَامَوْلُودٌهُوَجَازٍعَنوَالِدِهِۦشَيْـًٔا ۚإِنَّوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقٌّۭ ۖفَلَاتَغُرَّنَّكُمُٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَاوَلَايَغُرَّنَّكُمبِٱللَّهِٱلْغَرُورُ
l-gharūrubil-lahiyaghurrannakumwalāl-dun'yāl-ḥayatutaghurrannakumufalāḥaqqunl-lahiwaʿdainnashayanwālidihiʿanjāzinhuwamawlūdunwalāwaladihiʿanwālidunyajzīlāyawmanwa-ikh'shawrabbakumittaqūl-nāsuyāayyuhā
OmankindFearyour Lordand feara Daynotcan availa father[for]his sonand nota sonhe(can) avail[for]his fatheranythingIndeed(the) Promise(of) Allah(is) Trueso let not deceive youso let not deceive youthe life(of) the worldand let not deceive youand let not deceive youabout Allahthe deceiver
31:33
إِنَّٱللَّهَعِندَهُۥعِلْمُٱلسَّاعَةِوَيُنَزِّلُٱلْغَيْثَوَيَعْلَمُمَافِىٱلْأَرْحَامِ ۖوَمَاتَدْرِىنَفْسٌۭمَّاذَاتَكْسِبُغَدًۭا ۖوَمَاتَدْرِىنَفْسٌۢبِأَىِّأَرْضٍۢتَمُوتُ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَعَلِيمٌخَبِيرٌۢ
khabīrunʿalīmunl-lahainnatamūtuarḍinbi-ayyinafsuntadrīwamāghadantaksibumādhānafsuntadrīwamāl-arḥāmifīmāwayaʿlamul-ghaythawayunazzilul-sāʿatiʿil'muʿindahul-lahainna
IndeedAllahwith Him(is the) knowledge(of) the Hourand He sends downthe rainand knowswhat(is) inthe wombsAnd notknowsany soulwhatit will earntomorrowand notknowsany soulin whatlandit will dieIndeedAllah(is) All-KnowerAll-Aware
31:34

Alif Lam Meem
32:1
تَنزِيلُٱلْكِتَـٰبِلَارَيْبَفِيهِمِنرَّبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbiminfīhiraybalāl-kitābitanzīlu
(The) revelation(of) the Book(there is) nodoubtabout itfrom(the) Lord(of) the worlds
32:2
أَمْيَقُولُونَٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۚبَلْهُوَٱلْحَقُّمِنرَّبِّكَلِتُنذِرَقَوْمًۭامَّآأَتَىٰهُممِّننَّذِيرٍۢمِّنقَبْلِكَلَعَلَّهُمْيَهْتَدُونَ
yahtadūnalaʿallahumqablikaminnadhīrinminatāhummāqawmanlitundhirarabbikaminl-ḥaquhuwabalif'tarāhuyaqūlūnaam
Or(do) they sayHe invented itNayit(is) the truthfromyour Lordthat you may warna peoplenothas come to themanywarnerbefore youbefore youso that they maybe guided
32:3
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَمَابَيْنَهُمَافِىسِتَّةِأَيَّامٍۢثُمَّٱسْتَوَىٰعَلَىٱلْعَرْشِ ۖمَالَكُممِّندُونِهِۦمِنوَلِىٍّۢوَلَاشَفِيعٍ ۚأَفَلَاتَتَذَكَّرُونَ
tatadhakkarūnaafalāshafīʿinwalāwaliyyinmindūnihiminlakummāl-ʿarshiʿalāis'tawāthummaayyāminsittatifībaynahumāwamāwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqaalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whocreatedthe heavensand the earthand whatever(is) between theminsixperiodsThenestablished Himselfonthe ThroneNotfor youbesides Himbesides Himanyprotectorand notany intercessorThen will notyou take heed
32:4
يُدَبِّرُٱلْأَمْرَمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِإِلَىٱلْأَرْضِثُمَّيَعْرُجُإِلَيْهِفِىيَوْمٍۢكَانَمِقْدَارُهُۥٓأَلْفَسَنَةٍۢمِّمَّاتَعُدُّونَ
taʿuddūnamimmāsanatinalfamiq'dāruhukānayawminfīilayhiyaʿrujuthummal-arḍiilāl-samāiminal-amrayudabbiru
He regulatesthe affairofthe heaventothe earththenit will ascendto Himina Day(the) measure of which is(the) measure of which isa thousandyearsof whatyou count
32:5
ذَٰلِكَعَـٰلِمُٱلْغَيْبِوَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِٱلْعَزِيزُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-ʿazīzuwal-shahādatil-ghaybiʿālimudhālika
That(is the) Knower(of) the hiddenand the witnessedthe All-Mightythe Most Merciful
32:6
ٱلَّذِىٓأَحْسَنَكُلَّشَىْءٍخَلَقَهُۥ ۖوَبَدَأَخَلْقَٱلْإِنسَـٰنِمِنطِينٍۢ
ṭīninminl-insānikhalqawabada-akhalaqahushayinkullaaḥsanaalladhī
The One Whomade goodeverythingHe createdand He began(the) creation(of) manfromclay
32:7
ثُمَّجَعَلَنَسْلَهُۥمِنسُلَـٰلَةٍۢمِّنمَّآءٍۢمَّهِينٍۢ
mahīninmāinminsulālatinminnaslahujaʿalathumma
ThenHe madehis progenyfroman extractofwaterdespised
32:8
ثُمَّسَوَّىٰهُوَنَفَخَفِيهِمِنرُّوحِهِۦ ۖوَجَعَلَلَكُمُٱلسَّمْعَوَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَوَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۚقَلِيلًۭامَّاتَشْكُرُونَ
tashkurūnamāqalīlanwal-afidatawal-abṣāral-samʿalakumuwajaʿalarūḥihiminfīhiwanafakhasawwāhuthumma
ThenHe fashioned himand breathedinto himfromHis spiritand madefor youthe hearingand the sightand feelingslittle[what]thanks you give
32:9
وَقَالُوٓا۟أَءِذَاضَلَلْنَافِىٱلْأَرْضِأَءِنَّالَفِىخَلْقٍۢجَدِيدٍۭ ۚبَلْهُمبِلِقَآءِرَبِّهِمْكَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūnarabbihimbiliqāihumbaljadīdinkhalqinlafīa-innāl-arḍifīḍalalnāa-idhāwaqālū
And they sayIs (it) whenwe are lostinthe earthwill wecertainly be ina creationnewNaytheyin (the) meeting(of) their Lord(are) disbelievers
32:10
۞ قُلْيَتَوَفَّىٰكُممَّلَكُٱلْمَوْتِٱلَّذِىوُكِّلَبِكُمْثُمَّإِلَىٰرَبِّكُمْتُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūnarabbikumilāthummabikumwukkilaalladhīl-mawtimalakuyatawaffākumqul
SayWill take your soul(the) Angel(of) the deaththe one whohas been put in chargeof youThentoyour Lordyou will be returned
32:11
وَلَوْتَرَىٰٓإِذِٱلْمُجْرِمُونَنَاكِسُوا۟رُءُوسِهِمْعِندَرَبِّهِمْرَبَّنَآأَبْصَرْنَاوَسَمِعْنَافَٱرْجِعْنَانَعْمَلْصَـٰلِحًاإِنَّامُوقِنُونَ
mūqinūnainnāṣāliḥannaʿmalfa-ir'jiʿ'nāwasamiʿ'nāabṣarnārabbanārabbihimʿindaruūsihimnākisūl-muj'rimūnaidhitarāwalaw
And ifyou (could) seewhenthe criminals(will) hangtheir headsbeforetheir LordOur Lordwe have seenand we have heardso return uswe will dorighteous (deeds)Indeed, we(are now) certain
32:12
وَلَوْشِئْنَالَـَٔاتَيْنَاكُلَّنَفْسٍهُدَىٰهَاوَلَـٰكِنْحَقَّٱلْقَوْلُمِنِّىلَأَمْلَأَنَّجَهَنَّمَمِنَٱلْجِنَّةِوَٱلنَّاسِأَجْمَعِينَ
ajmaʿīnawal-nāsil-jinatiminajahannamala-amla-annaminnīl-qawluḥaqqawalākinhudāhānafsinkullalaātaynāshi'nāwalaw
And ifWe (had) willedsurely We (would) have giveneverysoulits guidancebut(is) truethe Wordfrom Methat I will surely fillHellwiththe jinnand the mentogether
32:13
فَذُوقُوا۟بِمَانَسِيتُمْلِقَآءَيَوْمِكُمْهَـٰذَآإِنَّانَسِينَـٰكُمْ ۖوَذُوقُوا۟عَذَابَٱلْخُلْدِبِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāl-khul'diʿadhābawadhūqūnasīnākuminnāhādhāyawmikumliqāanasītumbimāfadhūqū
So tastebecauseyou forgot(the) meeting(of) this Day of yours(of) this Day of yoursIndeed, Wehave forgotten youAnd taste(the) punishment(of) eternityfor whatyou used (to)do
32:14
إِنَّمَايُؤْمِنُبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاٱلَّذِينَإِذَاذُكِّرُوا۟بِهَاخَرُّوا۟سُجَّدًۭاوَسَبَّحُوا۟بِحَمْدِرَبِّهِمْوَهُمْلَايَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۩
yastakbirūnalāwahumrabbihimbiḥamdiwasabbaḥūsujjadankharrūbihādhukkirūidhāalladhīnabiāyātināyu'minuinnamā
Onlybelievein Our Versesthose whowhenthey are remindedof themfall downprostratingand glorify(the) praises(of) their Lordand theyare not arrogantare not arrogant
32:15
تَتَجَافَىٰجُنُوبُهُمْعَنِٱلْمَضَاجِعِيَدْعُونَرَبَّهُمْخَوْفًۭاوَطَمَعًۭاوَمِمَّارَزَقْنَـٰهُمْيُنفِقُونَ
yunfiqūnarazaqnāhumwamimmāwaṭamaʿankhawfanrabbahumyadʿūnal-maḍājiʿiʿanijunūbuhumtatajāfā
Forsaketheir sidesfrom(their) bedsthey calltheir Lord(in) fearand hopeand out of whatWe have provided themthey spend
32:16
فَلَاتَعْلَمُنَفْسٌۭمَّآأُخْفِىَلَهُممِّنقُرَّةِأَعْيُنٍۢجَزَآءًۢبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūbimājazāanaʿyuninqurratiminlahumukh'fiyamānafsuntaʿlamufalā
And notknowsa soulwhatis hiddenfor themof(the) comfort(for) the eyes(as) a rewardfor whatthey used (to)do
32:17
أَفَمَنكَانَمُؤْمِنًۭاكَمَنكَانَفَاسِقًۭا ۚلَّايَسْتَوُۥنَ
yastawūnalāfāsiqankānakamanmu'minankānaafaman
Then is one whoisa believerlike (him) whoisdefiantly disobedientNotthey are equal
32:18
أَمَّاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِفَلَهُمْجَنَّـٰتُٱلْمَأْوَىٰنُزُلًۢابِمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūbimānuzulanl-mawājannātufalahuml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnaammā
As forthose whobelieveand dorighteous deedsthen for them(are) Gardens(of) Refuge(as) hospitalityfor whatthey used (to)do
32:19
وَأَمَّاٱلَّذِينَفَسَقُوا۟فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُٱلنَّارُ ۖكُلَّمَآأَرَادُوٓا۟أَنيَخْرُجُوا۟مِنْهَآأُعِيدُوا۟فِيهَاوَقِيلَلَهُمْذُوقُوا۟عَذَابَٱلنَّارِٱلَّذِىكُنتُمبِهِۦتُكَذِّبُونَ
tukadhibūnabihikuntumalladhīl-nāriʿadhābadhūqūlahumwaqīlafīhāuʿīdūmin'hāyakhrujūanarādūkullamāl-nārufamawāhumufasaqūalladhīnawa-ammā
But as forthose whoare defiantly disobedientthen their refuge(is) the FireEvery timethey wishtocome outfrom itthey (will) be returnedin itand it (will) be saidto themTaste(the) punishment(of) the Firewhichyou used (to)[in it]deny
32:20
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُممِّنَٱلْعَذَابِٱلْأَدْنَىٰدُونَٱلْعَذَابِٱلْأَكْبَرِلَعَلَّهُمْيَرْجِعُونَ
yarjiʿūnalaʿallahuml-akbaril-ʿadhābidūnal-adnāl-ʿadhābiminawalanudhīqannahum
And surely, We will let them tasteofthe punishmentthe nearerbeforethe punishmentthe greaterso that they mayreturn
32:21
وَمَنْأَظْلَمُمِمَّنذُكِّرَبِـَٔايَـٰتِرَبِّهِۦثُمَّأَعْرَضَعَنْهَآ ۚإِنَّامِنَٱلْمُجْرِمِينَمُنتَقِمُونَ
muntaqimūnal-muj'rimīnaminainnāʿanhāaʿraḍathummarabbihibiāyātidhukkiramimmanaẓlamuwaman
And who(is) more unjustthan (he) whois remindedof (the) Verses(of) his Lordthenhe turns awayfrom themIndeed, Wefromthe criminals(will) take retribution
32:22
وَلَقَدْءَاتَيْنَامُوسَىٱلْكِتَـٰبَفَلَاتَكُنفِىمِرْيَةٍۢمِّنلِّقَآئِهِۦ ۖوَجَعَلْنَـٰهُهُدًۭىلِّبَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'rāīlalibanīhudanwajaʿalnāhuliqāihiminmir'yatinfītakunfalāl-kitābamūsāātaynāwalaqad
And certainlyWe gaveMusathe Scriptureso (do) notbeindoubtaboutreceiving itAnd We made ita guidefor the Children of Israelfor the Children of Israel
32:23
وَجَعَلْنَامِنْهُمْأَئِمَّةًۭيَهْدُونَبِأَمْرِنَالَمَّاصَبَرُوا۟ ۖوَكَانُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَايُوقِنُونَ
yūqinūnabiāyātināwakānūṣabarūlammābi-amrināyahdūnaa-immatanmin'humwajaʿalnā
And We madefrom themleadersguidingby Our Commandwhenthey were patientand they wereof Our Versescertain
32:24
إِنَّرَبَّكَهُوَيَفْصِلُبَيْنَهُمْيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِفِيمَاكَانُوا۟فِيهِيَخْتَلِفُونَ
yakhtalifūnafīhikānūfīmāl-qiyāmatiyawmabaynahumyafṣiluhuwarabbakainna
Indeedyour Lord[He]will judgebetween them(on the) Day(of) Resurrectionin whatthey used (to)[in it]differ
32:25
أَوَلَمْيَهْدِلَهُمْكَمْأَهْلَكْنَامِنقَبْلِهِممِّنَٱلْقُرُونِيَمْشُونَفِىمَسَـٰكِنِهِمْ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍ ۖأَفَلَايَسْمَعُونَ
yasmaʿūnaafalālaāyātindhālikafīinnamasākinihimfīyamshūnal-qurūniminaqablihimminahlaknākamlahumyahdiawalam
Does it notguide[for] them(that) how manyWe have destroyedbefore thembefore themofthe generationsthey walk aboutintheir dwellingsIndeedinthatsurely, are SignsThen do notthey hear
32:26
أَوَلَمْيَرَوْا۟أَنَّانَسُوقُٱلْمَآءَإِلَىٱلْأَرْضِٱلْجُرُزِفَنُخْرِجُبِهِۦزَرْعًۭاتَأْكُلُمِنْهُأَنْعَـٰمُهُمْوَأَنفُسُهُمْ ۖأَفَلَايُبْصِرُونَ
yub'ṣirūnaafalāwa-anfusuhumanʿāmuhummin'hutakuluzarʿanbihifanukh'rijul-juruzil-arḍiilāl-māanasūquannāyarawawalam
Do notthey seethat Wedrivewatertothe land[the] barrenthen We bring forththerebycropseatfrom ittheir cattleand they themselvesThen do notthey see
32:27
وَيَقُولُونَمَتَىٰهَـٰذَاٱلْفَتْحُإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntuminl-fatḥuhādhāmatāwayaqūlūna
And they sayWhen (will be)thisdecisionifyou aretruthful
32:28
قُلْيَوْمَٱلْفَتْحِلَايَنفَعُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟إِيمَـٰنُهُمْوَلَاهُمْيُنظَرُونَ
yunẓarūnahumwalāīmānuhumkafarūalladhīnayanfaʿulāl-fatḥiyawmaqul
Say(On the) Day(of) the Decisionnotwill benefitthose whodisbelievetheir beliefand nottheywill be granted respite
32:29
فَأَعْرِضْعَنْهُمْوَٱنتَظِرْإِنَّهُممُّنتَظِرُونَ
muntaẓirūnainnahumwa-intaẓirʿanhumfa-aʿriḍ
So turn awayfrom themand waitIndeed, they(are) waiting
32:30
Basmala
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّبِىُّٱتَّقِٱللَّهَوَلَاتُطِعِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَوَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَكَانَعَلِيمًاحَكِيمًۭا
ḥakīmanʿalīmankānal-lahainnawal-munāfiqīnal-kāfirīnatuṭiʿiwalāl-lahaittaqil-nabiyuyāayyuhā
O ProphetO ProphetFearAllahand (do) notobeythe disbelieversand the hypocritesIndeedAllahisAll-KnowerAll-Wise
33:1
وَٱتَّبِعْمَايُوحَىٰٓإِلَيْكَمِنرَّبِّكَ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَكَانَبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَخَبِيرًۭا
khabīrantaʿmalūnabimākānal-lahainnarabbikaminilaykayūḥāmāwa-ittabiʿ
And followwhatis inspiredto youfromyour LordIndeedAllahisof whatyou doAll-Aware
33:2
وَتَوَكَّلْعَلَىٱللَّهِ ۚوَكَفَىٰبِٱللَّهِوَكِيلًۭا
wakīlanbil-lahiwakafāl-lahiʿalāwatawakkal
And put your trustinAllahAnd Allah is sufficientAnd Allah is sufficient(as) Disposer of affairs
33:3
مَّاجَعَلَٱللَّهُلِرَجُلٍۢمِّنقَلْبَيْنِفِىجَوْفِهِۦ ۚوَمَاجَعَلَأَزْوَٰجَكُمُٱلَّـٰٓـِٔىتُظَـٰهِرُونَمِنْهُنَّأُمَّهَـٰتِكُمْ ۚوَمَاجَعَلَأَدْعِيَآءَكُمْأَبْنَآءَكُمْ ۚذَٰلِكُمْقَوْلُكُمبِأَفْوَٰهِكُمْ ۖوَٱللَّهُيَقُولُٱلْحَقَّوَهُوَيَهْدِىٱلسَّبِيلَ
l-sabīlayahdīwahuwal-ḥaqayaqūluwal-lahubi-afwāhikumqawlukumdhālikumabnāakumadʿiyāakumjaʿalawamāummahātikummin'hunnatuẓāhirūnaallāīazwājakumujaʿalawamājawfihifīqalbayniminlirajulinl-lahujaʿalamā
NotAllah (has) madeAllah (has) madefor any man[of]two heartsinhis interiorAnd notHe (has) madeyour wiveswhomyou declare unlawful[of them](as) your mothersAnd notHe has madeyour adopted sonsyour sonsThat(is) your sayingby your mouthsbut Allahsaysthe truthand Heguides(to) the Way
33:4
ٱدْعُوهُمْلِـَٔابَآئِهِمْهُوَأَقْسَطُعِندَٱللَّهِ ۚفَإِنلَّمْتَعْلَمُوٓا۟ءَابَآءَهُمْفَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْفِىٱلدِّينِوَمَوَٰلِيكُمْ ۚوَلَيْسَعَلَيْكُمْجُنَاحٌۭفِيمَآأَخْطَأْتُمبِهِۦوَلَـٰكِنمَّاتَعَمَّدَتْقُلُوبُكُمْ ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُغَفُورًۭارَّحِيمًا
raḥīmanghafūranl-lahuwakānaqulūbukumtaʿammadatmāwalākinbihiakhṭatumfīmājunāḥunʿalaykumwalaysawamawālīkuml-dīnifīfa-ikh'wānukumābāahumtaʿlamūlamfa-inl-lahiʿindaaqsaṭuhuwaliābāihimid'ʿūhum
Call themby their fathersit(is) more justnearAllahBut ifnotyou knowtheir fathers then (they are) your brothersin[the] religionand your friendsBut not isupon youany blamein whatyou made a mistakein itbutwhatintendedyour heartsAnd AllahAnd Allah(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
33:5
ٱلنَّبِىُّأَوْلَىٰبِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَمِنْأَنفُسِهِمْ ۖوَأَزْوَٰجُهُۥٓأُمَّهَـٰتُهُمْ ۗوَأُو۟لُوا۟ٱلْأَرْحَامِبَعْضُهُمْأَوْلَىٰبِبَعْضٍۢفِىكِتَـٰبِٱللَّهِمِنَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَوَٱلْمُهَـٰجِرِينَإِلَّآأَنتَفْعَلُوٓا۟إِلَىٰٓأَوْلِيَآئِكُممَّعْرُوفًۭا ۚكَانَذَٰلِكَفِىٱلْكِتَـٰبِمَسْطُورًۭا
masṭūranl-kitābifīdhālikakānamaʿrūfanawliyāikumilātafʿalūanillāwal-muhājirīnal-mu'minīnaminal-lahikitābifībibaʿḍinawlābaʿḍuhuml-arḥāmiwa-ulūummahātuhumwa-azwājuhuanfusihimminbil-mu'minīnaawlāal-nabiyu
The Prophet(is) closerto the believersthantheir own selvesand his wives(are) their mothersAnd possessors(of) relationshipssome of them(are) closerto anotherin(the) Decree(of) Allahthanthe believersand the emigrantsexceptthatyou dotoyour friendsa kindnessThat isThat isinthe Bookwritten
33:6
وَإِذْأَخَذْنَامِنَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَمِيثَـٰقَهُمْوَمِنكَوَمِننُّوحٍۢوَإِبْرَٰهِيمَوَمُوسَىٰوَعِيسَىٱبْنِمَرْيَمَ ۖوَأَخَذْنَامِنْهُممِّيثَـٰقًاغَلِيظًۭا
ghalīẓanmīthāqanmin'humwa-akhadhnāmaryamaib'niwaʿīsāwamūsāwa-ib'rāhīmanūḥinwaminwaminkamīthāqahuml-nabiyīnaminaakhadhnāwa-idh
And whenWe tookfromthe Prophetstheir Covenantand from youand fromNuhand Ibrahimand Musaand Isason(of) MaryamAnd We tookfrom thema covenantstrong
33:7
لِّيَسْـَٔلَٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَعَنصِدْقِهِمْ ۚوَأَعَدَّلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَعَذَابًاأَلِيمًۭا
alīmanʿadhābanlil'kāfirīnawa-aʿaddaṣid'qihimʿanl-ṣādiqīnaliyasala
That He may askthe truthfulabouttheir truthAnd He has preparedfor the disbelieversa punishmentpainful
33:8
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ٱذْكُرُوا۟نِعْمَةَٱللَّهِعَلَيْكُمْإِذْجَآءَتْكُمْجُنُودٌۭفَأَرْسَلْنَاعَلَيْهِمْرِيحًۭاوَجُنُودًۭالَّمْتَرَوْهَا ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَبَصِيرًا
baṣīrantaʿmalūnabimāl-lahuwakānatarawhālamwajunūdanrīḥanʿalayhimfa-arsalnājunūdunjāatkumidhʿalaykuml-lahiniʿ'mataudh'kurūāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O youwhobelieveRemember(the) Favor(of) Allahupon youwhencame to you(the) hostsand We sentupon thema windand hostsnotyou (could) see themAnd Allah isAnd Allah isof whatyou doAll-Seer
33:9
إِذْجَآءُوكُممِّنفَوْقِكُمْوَمِنْأَسْفَلَمِنكُمْوَإِذْزَاغَتِٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُوَبَلَغَتِٱلْقُلُوبُٱلْحَنَاجِرَوَتَظُنُّونَبِٱللَّهِٱلظُّنُونَا۠
l-ẓunūnābil-lahiwataẓunnūnal-ḥanājiral-qulūbuwabalaghatil-abṣāruzāghatiwa-idhminkumasfalawaminfawqikumminjāūkumidh
Whenthey came upon youfromabove youand frombelowyouand whengrew wildthe eyesand reachedthe heartsthe throatsand you assumedabout Allahthe assumptions
33:10
هُنَالِكَٱبْتُلِىَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَوَزُلْزِلُوا۟زِلْزَالًۭاشَدِيدًۭا
shadīdanzil'zālanwazul'zilūl-mu'minūnaub'tuliyahunālika
There were triedthe believersand shaken(with a) shakesevere
33:11
وَإِذْيَقُولُٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَوَٱلَّذِينَفِىقُلُوبِهِممَّرَضٌۭمَّاوَعَدَنَاٱللَّهُوَرَسُولُهُۥٓإِلَّاغُرُورًۭا
ghurūranillāwarasūluhul-lahuwaʿadanāmāmaraḍunqulūbihimfīwa-alladhīnal-munāfiqūnayaqūluwa-idh
And whensaidthe hypocritesand thoseintheir hearts(was) a diseaseNotAllah promised usAllah promised usand His messengerexceptdelusion
33:12
وَإِذْقَالَتطَّآئِفَةٌۭمِّنْهُمْيَـٰٓأَهْلَيَثْرِبَلَامُقَامَلَكُمْفَٱرْجِعُوا۟ ۚوَيَسْتَـْٔذِنُفَرِيقٌۭمِّنْهُمُٱلنَّبِىَّيَقُولُونَإِنَّبُيُوتَنَاعَوْرَةٌۭوَمَاهِىَبِعَوْرَةٍ ۖإِنيُرِيدُونَإِلَّافِرَارًۭا
firāranillāyurīdūnainbiʿawratinhiyawamāʿawratunbuyūtanāinnayaqūlūnal-nabiyamin'humufarīqunwayastadhinufa-ir'jiʿūlakummuqāmalāyathribayāahlamin'humṭāifatunqālatwa-idh
And whensaida partyof themO People(of) YathribNostandfor youso returnAnd asked permissiona groupof them(from) the ProphetsayingIndeedour houses(are) exposedand notthey(were) exposedNotthey wishedbutto flee
33:13
وَلَوْدُخِلَتْعَلَيْهِممِّنْأَقْطَارِهَاثُمَّسُئِلُوا۟ٱلْفِتْنَةَلَـَٔاتَوْهَاوَمَاتَلَبَّثُوا۟بِهَآإِلَّايَسِيرًۭا
yasīranillābihātalabbathūwamālaātawhāl-fit'natasu-ilūthummaaqṭārihāminʿalayhimdukhilatwalaw
And ifhad been enteredupon themfromall its sidesthenthey had been askedthe treacherythey (would) have certainly done itand notthey (would) have hesitatedover itexcepta little
33:14
وَلَقَدْكَانُوا۟عَـٰهَدُوا۟ٱللَّهَمِنقَبْلُلَايُوَلُّونَٱلْأَدْبَـٰرَ ۚوَكَانَعَهْدُٱللَّهِمَسْـُٔولًۭا
masūlanl-lahiʿahduwakānal-adbārayuwallūnalāqabluminl-lahaʿāhadūkānūwalaqad
And certainlythey hadpromisedAllahbeforebeforenotthey would turntheir backsAnd is(the) promise(to) Allahto be questioned
33:15
قُللَّنيَنفَعَكُمُٱلْفِرَارُإِنفَرَرْتُممِّنَٱلْمَوْتِأَوِٱلْقَتْلِوَإِذًۭالَّاتُمَتَّعُونَإِلَّاقَلِيلًۭا
qalīlanillātumattaʿūnalāwa-idhanl-qatliawil-mawtiminafarartuminl-firāruyanfaʿakumulanqul
SayNeverwill benefit youthe fleeingifyou fleefromdeathorkillingand thennotyou will be allowed to enjoyexcepta little
33:16
قُلْمَنذَاٱلَّذِىيَعْصِمُكُممِّنَٱللَّهِإِنْأَرَادَبِكُمْسُوٓءًاأَوْأَرَادَبِكُمْرَحْمَةًۭ ۚوَلَايَجِدُونَلَهُممِّندُونِٱللَّهِوَلِيًّۭاوَلَانَصِيرًۭا
naṣīranwalāwaliyyanl-lahidūniminlahumyajidūnawalāraḥmatanbikumarādaawsūanbikumarādainl-lahiminayaʿṣimukumalladhīdhāmanqul
SayWho(is) it that(is) it that(can) protect youfromAllahIfHe intendsfor youany harmorHe intendsfor youa mercyAnd notthey will findfor thembesidesbesidesAllahany protectorand notany helper
33:17
۞ قَدْيَعْلَمُٱللَّهُٱلْمُعَوِّقِينَمِنكُمْوَٱلْقَآئِلِينَلِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْهَلُمَّإِلَيْنَا ۖوَلَايَأْتُونَٱلْبَأْسَإِلَّاقَلِيلًا
qalīlanillāl-basayatūnawalāilaynāhalummali-ikh'wānihimwal-qāilīnaminkuml-muʿawiqīnal-lahuyaʿlamuqad
VerilyAllah knowsAllah knowsthose who hinderamong youand those who sayto their brothersCometo usand notthey come(to) the battleexcepta few
33:18
أَشِحَّةًعَلَيْكُمْ ۖفَإِذَاجَآءَٱلْخَوْفُرَأَيْتَهُمْيَنظُرُونَإِلَيْكَتَدُورُأَعْيُنُهُمْكَٱلَّذِىيُغْشَىٰعَلَيْهِمِنَٱلْمَوْتِ ۖفَإِذَاذَهَبَٱلْخَوْفُسَلَقُوكُمبِأَلْسِنَةٍحِدَادٍأَشِحَّةًعَلَىٱلْخَيْرِ ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَمْيُؤْمِنُوا۟فَأَحْبَطَٱللَّهُأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ ۚوَكَانَذَٰلِكَعَلَىٱللَّهِيَسِيرًۭا
yasīranl-lahiʿalādhālikawakānaaʿmālahuml-lahufa-aḥbaṭayu'minūlamulāikal-khayriʿalāashiḥḥatanḥidādinbi-alsinatinsalaqūkuml-khawfudhahabafa-idhāl-mawtiminaʿalayhiyugh'shāka-alladhīaʿyunuhumtadūruilaykayanẓurūnara-aytahuml-khawfujāafa-idhāʿalaykumashiḥḥatan
Miserlytowards youBut whencomesthe fearyou see themlookingat yourevolvingtheir eyeslike one whofaintsfaintsfrom[the] deathBut whendepartsthe fearthey smite youwith tonguessharpmiserlytowardsthe goodThose notthey have believedso Allah made worthlessso Allah made worthlesstheir deedsAnd isthatforAllaheasy
33:19
يَحْسَبُونَٱلْأَحْزَابَلَمْيَذْهَبُوا۟ ۖوَإِنيَأْتِٱلْأَحْزَابُيَوَدُّوا۟لَوْأَنَّهُمبَادُونَفِىٱلْأَعْرَابِيَسْـَٔلُونَعَنْأَنۢبَآئِكُمْ ۖوَلَوْكَانُوا۟فِيكُممَّاقَـٰتَلُوٓا۟إِلَّاقَلِيلًۭا
qalīlanillāqātalūmāfīkumkānūwalawanbāikumʿanyasalūnal-aʿrābifībādūnaannahumlawyawaddūl-aḥzābuyatiwa-inyadhhabūlaml-aḥzābayaḥsabūna
They thinkthe confederates(have) notwithdrawnAnd if(should) comethe confederatesthey would wishifthat they (were)living in (the) desertamongthe Bedouinsaskingaboutyour newsAnd ifthey wereamong younotthey would fightexcepta little
33:20
لَّقَدْكَانَلَكُمْفِىرَسُولِٱللَّهِأُسْوَةٌحَسَنَةٌۭلِّمَنكَانَيَرْجُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَٱلْيَوْمَٱلْـَٔاخِرَوَذَكَرَٱللَّهَكَثِيرًۭا
kathīranl-lahawadhakaral-ākhirawal-yawmal-lahayarjūkānalimanḥasanatunus'watunl-lahirasūlifīlakumkānalaqad
Certainlyisfor youin(the) Messenger(of) Allahan excellent examplean excellent examplefor (one) whohashope(in) Allahand the Daythe Lastand remembersAllahmuch
33:21
وَلَمَّارَءَاٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَٱلْأَحْزَابَقَالُوا۟هَـٰذَامَاوَعَدَنَاٱللَّهُوَرَسُولُهُۥوَصَدَقَٱللَّهُوَرَسُولُهُۥ ۚوَمَازَادَهُمْإِلَّآإِيمَـٰنًۭاوَتَسْلِيمًۭا
wataslīmanīmānanillāzādahumwamāwarasūluhul-lahuwaṣadaqawarasūluhul-lahuwaʿadanāmāhādhāqālūl-aḥzābal-mu'minūnaraāwalammā
And whensawthe believersthe confederatesthey saidThis(is) whatAllah promised usAllah promised usand His Messengerand Allah spoke the truthand Allah spoke the truthand His MessengerAnd notit increased themexcept(in) faithand submission
33:22
مِّنَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَرِجَالٌۭصَدَقُوا۟مَاعَـٰهَدُوا۟ٱللَّهَعَلَيْهِ ۖفَمِنْهُممَّنقَضَىٰنَحْبَهُۥوَمِنْهُممَّنيَنتَظِرُ ۖوَمَابَدَّلُوا۟تَبْدِيلًۭا
tabdīlanbaddalūwamāyantaẓirumanwamin'humnaḥbahuqaḍāmanfamin'humʿalayhil-lahaʿāhadūmāṣadaqūrijālunl-mu'minīnamina
Amongthe believers(are) men(who) have been true(to) whatthey promised Allahthey promised Allah[on it]And among them(is he) whohas fulfilledhis vowand among them(is he) whoawaitsAnd notthey alter(by) any alteration
33:23
لِّيَجْزِىَٱللَّهُٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَبِصِدْقِهِمْوَيُعَذِّبَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَإِنشَآءَأَوْيَتُوبَعَلَيْهِمْ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَكَانَغَفُورًۭارَّحِيمًۭا
raḥīmanghafūrankānal-lahainnaʿalayhimyatūbaawshāainl-munāfiqīnawayuʿadhibabiṣid'qihiml-ṣādiqīnal-lahuliyajziya
That Allah may rewardThat Allah may rewardthe truthfulfor their truthand punishthe hypocritesifHe willsorturn in mercyto themIndeedAllahisOft-ForgivingMost Merciful
33:24
وَرَدَّٱللَّهُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟بِغَيْظِهِمْلَمْيَنَالُوا۟خَيْرًۭا ۚوَكَفَىٱللَّهُٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَٱلْقِتَالَ ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُقَوِيًّاعَزِيزًۭا
ʿazīzanqawiyyanl-lahuwakānal-qitālal-mu'minīnal-lahuwakafākhayranyanālūlambighayẓihimkafarūalladhīnal-lahuwaradda
And Allah turned backAnd Allah turned backthose whodisbelievedin their ragenotthey obtainedany goodAnd sufficient isAllah(for) the believers(in) the battleand Allah isand Allah isAll-StrongAll-Mighty
33:25
وَأَنزَلَٱلَّذِينَظَـٰهَرُوهُممِّنْأَهْلِٱلْكِتَـٰبِمِنصَيَاصِيهِمْوَقَذَفَفِىقُلُوبِهِمُٱلرُّعْبَفَرِيقًۭاتَقْتُلُونَوَتَأْسِرُونَفَرِيقًۭا
farīqanwatasirūnataqtulūnafarīqanl-ruʿ'baqulūbihimufīwaqadhafaṣayāṣīhimminl-kitābiahliminẓāharūhumalladhīnawa-anzala
And He brought downthose whobacked themamong(the) People(of) the Scripturefromtheir fortressesand castintotheir hearts[the] terrora groupyou killedand you took captivea group
33:26
وَأَوْرَثَكُمْأَرْضَهُمْوَدِيَـٰرَهُمْوَأَمْوَٰلَهُمْوَأَرْضًۭالَّمْتَطَـُٔوهَا ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرًۭا
qadīranshayinkulliʿalāl-lahuwakānataṭaūhālamwa-arḍanwa-amwālahumwadiyārahumarḍahumwa-awrathakum
And He caused you to inherittheir landand their housesand their propertiesand a landnotyou (had) troddenAnd Allah isAnd Allah isoneverythingAll-Powerful
33:27
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّبِىُّقُللِّأَزْوَٰجِكَإِنكُنتُنَّتُرِدْنَٱلْحَيَوٰةَٱلدُّنْيَاوَزِينَتَهَافَتَعَالَيْنَأُمَتِّعْكُنَّوَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّسَرَاحًۭاجَمِيلًۭا
jamīlansarāḥanwa-usarriḥ'kunnaumattiʿ'kunnafataʿālaynawazīnatahāl-dun'yāl-ḥayataturid'nakuntunnainli-azwājikaqull-nabiyuyāayyuhā
O ProphetO ProphetSayto your wivesIfyoudesirethe life(of) the worldand its adornmentthen comeI will provide for youand release you(with) a releasegood
33:28
وَإِنكُنتُنَّتُرِدْنَٱللَّهَوَرَسُولَهُۥوَٱلدَّارَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَفَإِنَّٱللَّهَأَعَدَّلِلْمُحْسِنَـٰتِمِنكُنَّأَجْرًاعَظِيمًۭا
ʿaẓīmanajranminkunnalil'muḥ'sinātiaʿaddal-lahafa-innal-ākhiratawal-dārawarasūlahul-lahaturid'nakuntunnawa-in
But ifyoudesireAllahand His Messengerand the Home(of) the Hereafterthen indeedAllahhas preparedfor the good-doersamong youa rewardgreat
33:29
يَـٰنِسَآءَٱلنَّبِىِّمَنيَأْتِمِنكُنَّبِفَـٰحِشَةٍۢمُّبَيِّنَةٍۢيُضَـٰعَفْلَهَاٱلْعَذَابُضِعْفَيْنِ ۚوَكَانَذَٰلِكَعَلَىٱللَّهِيَسِيرًۭا
yasīranl-lahiʿalādhālikawakānaḍiʿ'faynil-ʿadhābulahāyuḍāʿafmubayyinatinbifāḥishatinminkunnayatimanl-nabiyiyānisāa
O wives(of) the ProphetWhoevercommitsfrom youimmoralityclearwill be doubledfor herthe punishmenttwo foldAnd that isAnd that isforAllaheasy
33:30
