Basmala
۞ فَمَنْأَظْلَمُمِمَّنكَذَبَعَلَىٱللَّهِوَكَذَّبَبِٱلصِّدْقِإِذْجَآءَهُۥٓ ۚأَلَيْسَفِىجَهَنَّمَمَثْوًۭىلِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
lil'kāfirīnamathwanjahannamafīalaysajāahuidhbil-ṣid'qiwakadhabal-lahiʿalākadhabamimmanaẓlamufaman
Then who(is) more unjustthan (one) wholiesagainstAllahand deniesthe truthwhenit comes to himIs (there) notinHellan abodefor the disbelievers
39:32
وَٱلَّذِىجَآءَبِٱلصِّدْقِوَصَدَّقَبِهِۦٓ ۙأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلْمُتَّقُونَ
l-mutaqūnahumuulāikabihiwaṣaddaqabil-ṣid'qijāawa-alladhī
And the one whobroughtthe truthand believedin itthose[they](are) the righteous
39:33
لَهُممَّايَشَآءُونَعِندَرَبِّهِمْ ۚذَٰلِكَجَزَآءُٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnajazāudhālikarabbihimʿindayashāūnamālahum
For them(is) whatthey wishwiththeir LordThat(is the) reward(of) the good-doers
39:34
لِيُكَفِّرَٱللَّهُعَنْهُمْأَسْوَأَٱلَّذِىعَمِلُوا۟وَيَجْزِيَهُمْأَجْرَهُمبِأَحْسَنِٱلَّذِىكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūalladhībi-aḥsaniajrahumwayajziyahumʿamilūalladhīaswa-aʿanhuml-lahuliyukaffira
That Allah will removeThat Allah will removefrom them(the) worst(of) whatthey didand reward themtheir duefor (the) best(of) whatthey used todo
39:35
أَلَيْسَٱللَّهُبِكَافٍعَبْدَهُۥ ۖوَيُخَوِّفُونَكَبِٱلَّذِينَمِندُونِهِۦ ۚوَمَنيُضْلِلِٱللَّهُفَمَالَهُۥمِنْهَادٍۢ
hādinminlahufamāl-lahuyuḍ'liliwamandūnihiminbi-alladhīnawayukhawwifūnakaʿabdahubikāfinl-lahualaysa
Is notAllahsufficient(for) His slaveAnd they threaten youwith thosebesides Himbesides HimAnd whoeverAllah lets go astray Allah lets go astray then notfor himanyguide
39:36
وَمَنيَهْدِٱللَّهُفَمَالَهُۥمِنمُّضِلٍّ ۗأَلَيْسَٱللَّهُبِعَزِيزٍۢذِىٱنتِقَامٍۢ
intiqāmindhībiʿazīzinl-lahualaysamuḍillinminlahufamāl-lahuyahdiwaman
And whoeverAllah guidesAllah guidesthen notfor himanymisleaderIs notAllahAll-MightyAll-Able of retributionAll-Able of retribution
39:37
وَلَئِنسَأَلْتَهُممَّنْخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَلَيَقُولُنَّٱللَّهُ ۚقُلْأَفَرَءَيْتُممَّاتَدْعُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِإِنْأَرَادَنِىَٱللَّهُبِضُرٍّهَلْهُنَّكَـٰشِفَـٰتُضُرِّهِۦٓأَوْأَرَادَنِىبِرَحْمَةٍهَلْهُنَّمُمْسِكَـٰتُرَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚقُلْحَسْبِىَٱللَّهُ ۖعَلَيْهِيَتَوَكَّلُٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
l-mutawakilūnayatawakkaluʿalayhil-lahuḥasbiyaqulraḥmatihimum'sikātuhunnahalbiraḥmatinarādanīawḍurrihikāshifātuhunnahalbiḍurrinl-lahuarādaniyainl-lahidūnimintadʿūnamāafara-aytumqull-lahulayaqūlunnawal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqamansa-altahumwala-in
And ifyou ask themwhocreatedthe heavensand the earthSurely, they will sayAllahSayThen do you seewhatyou invokebesidesbesidesAllahifAllah intended for meAllah intended for meharmaretheyremovers(of) harm (from) Himorif He intended for memercyaretheywithholders(of) His mercySaySufficient (is) Allah for meSufficient (is) Allah for meupon Himput trustthose who trust
39:38
قُلْيَـٰقَوْمِٱعْمَلُوا۟عَلَىٰمَكَانَتِكُمْإِنِّىعَـٰمِلٌۭ ۖفَسَوْفَتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnafasawfaʿāmiluninnīmakānatikumʿalāiʿ'malūyāqawmiqul
SayO my peopleWork(according) toyour positionindeed, I amworkingthen soonyou will know
39:39
مَنيَأْتِيهِعَذَابٌۭيُخْزِيهِوَيَحِلُّعَلَيْهِعَذَابٌۭمُّقِيمٌ
muqīmunʿadhābunʿalayhiwayaḥilluyukh'zīhiʿadhābunyatīhiman
(Upon) whomwill comea punishmentdisgracing himand descendson hima punishmenteverlasting
39:40
إِنَّآأَنزَلْنَاعَلَيْكَٱلْكِتَـٰبَلِلنَّاسِبِٱلْحَقِّ ۖفَمَنِٱهْتَدَىٰفَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖوَمَنضَلَّفَإِنَّمَايَضِلُّعَلَيْهَا ۖوَمَآأَنتَعَلَيْهِمبِوَكِيلٍ
biwakīlinʿalayhimantawamāʿalayhāyaḍillufa-innamāḍallawamanfalinafsihiih'tadāfamanibil-ḥaqililnnāsil-kitābaʿalaykaanzalnāinnā
Indeed WeWe revealedto youthe Bookfor [the] mankindin truthSo whoeveraccepts guidancethen (it is) for his souland whoevergoes astraythen onlyhe straysagainst his (soul)And notyou(are) over thema manager
39:41
ٱللَّهُيَتَوَفَّىٱلْأَنفُسَحِينَمَوْتِهَاوَٱلَّتِىلَمْتَمُتْفِىمَنَامِهَا ۖفَيُمْسِكُٱلَّتِىقَضَىٰعَلَيْهَاٱلْمَوْتَوَيُرْسِلُٱلْأُخْرَىٰٓإِلَىٰٓأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّى ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkarūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnamusammanajalinilāl-ukh'rāwayur'silul-mawtaʿalayhāqaḍāallatīfayum'sikumanāmihāfītamutlamwa-allatīmawtihāḥīnal-anfusayatawaffāal-lahu
Allahtakesthe souls(at the) time(of) their deathand the one who(does) notdieintheir sleepThen He keepsthe one whomHe has decreedfor themthe deathand sendsthe othersfora termspecifiedIndeedinthatsurely (are) signsfor a peoplewho ponder
39:42
أَمِٱتَّخَذُوا۟مِندُونِٱللَّهِشُفَعَآءَ ۚقُلْأَوَلَوْكَانُوا۟لَايَمْلِكُونَشَيْـًۭٔاوَلَايَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnawalāshayanyamlikūnalākānūawalawqulshufaʿāal-lahidūniminittakhadhūami
Orhave they takenbesidesbesidesAllahintercessorsSayEven thoughthey werenotpossessinganythingand notthey understand
39:43
قُللِّلَّهِٱلشَّفَـٰعَةُجَمِيعًۭا ۖلَّهُۥمُلْكُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖثُمَّإِلَيْهِتُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūnailayhithummawal-arḍil-samāwātimul'kulahujamīʿanl-shafāʿatulillahiqul
SayTo Allah (belongs)the intercessionallFor Him(is the) dominion(of) the heavensand the earthThento Himyou will be returned
39:44
وَإِذَاذُكِرَٱللَّهُوَحْدَهُٱشْمَأَزَّتْقُلُوبُٱلَّذِينَلَايُؤْمِنُونَبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖوَإِذَاذُكِرَٱلَّذِينَمِندُونِهِۦٓإِذَاهُمْيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
yastabshirūnahumidhādūnihiminalladhīnadhukirawa-idhābil-ākhiratiyu'minūnalāalladhīnaqulūbuish'ma-azzatwaḥdahul-lahudhukirawa-idhā
And whenAllah is mentionedAllah is mentionedAloneshrink with aversion(the) hearts(of) those who(do) notbelievein the Hereafterand whenare mentionedthosebesides Himbesides HimbeholdTheyrejoice
39:45
قُلِٱللَّهُمَّفَاطِرَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِعَـٰلِمَٱلْغَيْبِوَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِأَنتَتَحْكُمُبَيْنَعِبَادِكَفِىمَاكَانُوا۟فِيهِيَخْتَلِفُونَ
yakhtalifūnafīhikānūmāfīʿibādikabaynataḥkumuantawal-shahādatil-ghaybiʿālimawal-arḍil-samāwātifāṭiral-lahumaquli
SayO AllahCreator(of) the heavensand the earthKnower(of) the unseenand the witnessedYouwill judgebetweenYour slavesinwhatthey used tothereindiffer
39:46
وَلَوْأَنَّلِلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟مَافِىٱلْأَرْضِجَمِيعًۭاوَمِثْلَهُۥمَعَهُۥلَٱفْتَدَوْا۟بِهِۦمِنسُوٓءِٱلْعَذَابِيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚوَبَدَالَهُممِّنَٱللَّهِمَالَمْيَكُونُوا۟يَحْتَسِبُونَ
yaḥtasibūnayakūnūlammāl-lahiminalahumwabadāl-qiyāmatiyawmal-ʿadhābisūiminbihila-if'tadawmaʿahuwamith'lahujamīʿanl-arḍifīmāẓalamūlilladhīnaannawalaw
And ifAnd ifthose whodid wrong(had) whatever(is) inthe earthalland (the) like of itwith itthey would ransomwith itfrom(the) evil(of) the punishment(on the) Day(of) the ResurrectionAnd (will) appearto themfromAllahwhatnotthey hadtaken into account
39:47
وَبَدَالَهُمْسَيِّـَٔاتُمَاكَسَبُوا۟وَحَاقَبِهِممَّاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
yastahziūnabihikānūmābihimwaḥāqakasabūmāsayyiātulahumwabadā
And will become apparentto them(the) evils(of) whatthey earnedand will surroundthemwhatthey used to[in it]mock
39:48
فَإِذَامَسَّٱلْإِنسَـٰنَضُرٌّۭدَعَانَاثُمَّإِذَاخَوَّلْنَـٰهُنِعْمَةًۭمِّنَّاقَالَإِنَّمَآأُوتِيتُهُۥعَلَىٰعِلْمٍۭ ۚبَلْهِىَفِتْنَةٌۭوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāaktharahumwalākinnafit'natunhiyabalʿil'minʿalāūtītuhuinnamāqālaminnāniʿ'matankhawwalnāhuidhāthummadaʿānāḍurrunl-insānamassafa-idhā
So whentouches[the] manadversityhe calls upon UsthenwhenWe bestow (on) hima favorfrom Ushe saysOnlyI have been given itforknowledgeNayit(is) a trialbutmost of them(do) notknow
39:49
قَدْقَالَهَاٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْفَمَآأَغْنَىٰعَنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟يَكْسِبُونَ
yaksibūnakānūmāʿanhumaghnāfamāqablihimminalladhīnaqālahāqad
Indeedsaid itthosebefore thembefore thembut (did) notavailthemwhatthey used toearn
39:50
فَأَصَابَهُمْسَيِّـَٔاتُمَاكَسَبُوا۟ ۚوَٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟مِنْهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِسَيُصِيبُهُمْسَيِّـَٔاتُمَاكَسَبُوا۟وَمَاهُمبِمُعْجِزِينَ
bimuʿ'jizīnahumwamākasabūmāsayyiātusayuṣībuhumhāulāiminẓalamūwa-alladhīnakasabūmāsayyiātufa-aṣābahum
Then struck them(the) evils(of) whatthey earnedAnd those whohave wrongedofthesewill strike them(the) evils(of) whatthey earnedand nottheywill be able to escape
39:51
أَوَلَمْيَعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَيَبْسُطُٱلرِّزْقَلِمَنيَشَآءُوَيَقْدِرُ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnawayaqdiruyashāulimanl-riz'qayabsuṭul-lahaannayaʿlamūawalam
Do notthey knowthatAllahextendsthe provisionfor whomHe willsand restrictsIndeedinthatsurely (are) signsfor a peoplewho believe
39:52
۞ قُلْيَـٰعِبَادِىَٱلَّذِينَأَسْرَفُوا۟عَلَىٰٓأَنفُسِهِمْلَاتَقْنَطُوا۟مِنرَّحْمَةِٱللَّهِ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَيَغْفِرُٱلذُّنُوبَجَمِيعًا ۚإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلْغَفُورُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-ghafūruhuwainnahujamīʿanl-dhunūbayaghfirul-lahainnal-lahiraḥmatimintaqnaṭūlāanfusihimʿalāasrafūalladhīnayāʿibādiyaqul
SayO My slavesThose whohave transgressedagainstthemselves(do) notdespairof(the) Mercy(of) AllahIndeedAllahforgivesthe sinsallIndeed HeHe(is) the Oft-Forgivingthe Most Merciful
39:53
وَأَنِيبُوٓا۟إِلَىٰرَبِّكُمْوَأَسْلِمُوا۟لَهُۥمِنقَبْلِأَنيَأْتِيَكُمُٱلْعَذَابُثُمَّلَاتُنصَرُونَ
tunṣarūnalāthummal-ʿadhābuyatiyakumuanqabliminlahuwa-aslimūrabbikumilāwa-anībū
And turntoyour Lordand submitto Himbeforebefore[that]comes to youthe punishmentthennotyou will be helped
39:54
وَٱتَّبِعُوٓا۟أَحْسَنَمَآأُنزِلَإِلَيْكُممِّنرَّبِّكُممِّنقَبْلِأَنيَأْتِيَكُمُٱلْعَذَابُبَغْتَةًۭوَأَنتُمْلَاتَشْعُرُونَ
tashʿurūnalāwa-antumbaghtatanl-ʿadhābuyatiyakumuanqabliminrabbikumminilaykumunzilamāaḥsanawa-ittabiʿū
And follow(the) best(of) whatis revealedto youfromyour Lordbeforebefore[that]comes to youthe punishmentsuddenlywhile you(do) notperceive
39:55
أَنتَقُولَنَفْسٌۭيَـٰحَسْرَتَىٰعَلَىٰمَافَرَّطتُفِىجَنۢبِٱللَّهِوَإِنكُنتُلَمِنَٱلسَّـٰخِرِينَ
l-sākhirīnalaminakuntuwa-inl-lahijanbifīfarraṭtumāʿalāyāḥasratānafsuntaqūlaan
Lestshould saya soulOh! My regretoverwhatI neglectedinregard (to)Allahand thatI wassurely, amongthe mockers
39:56
أَوْتَقُولَلَوْأَنَّٱللَّهَهَدَىٰنِىلَكُنتُمِنَٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
l-mutaqīnaminalakuntuhadānīl-lahaannalawtaqūlaaw
Orit should sayIf thatIf thatAllah(had) guided mesurely, I (would) have beenamongthe righteous
39:57
أَوْتَقُولَحِينَتَرَىٱلْعَذَابَلَوْأَنَّلِىكَرَّةًۭفَأَكُونَمِنَٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnaminafa-akūnakarratanlīannalawl-ʿadhābatarāḥīnataqūlaaw
Orit should saywhenit seesthe punishmentIfonlyfor meanother chancethen I could beamongthe good-doers
39:58
بَلَىٰقَدْجَآءَتْكَءَايَـٰتِىفَكَذَّبْتَبِهَاوَٱسْتَكْبَرْتَوَكُنتَمِنَٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīnaminawakuntawa-is'takbartabihāfakadhabtaāyātījāatkaqadbalā
Yesverilycame to youMy Versesbut you deniedthemand were arrogantand you wereamongthe disbelievers
39:59
وَيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِتَرَىٱلَّذِينَكَذَبُوا۟عَلَىٱللَّهِوُجُوهُهُممُّسْوَدَّةٌ ۚأَلَيْسَفِىجَهَنَّمَمَثْوًۭىلِّلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
lil'mutakabbirīnamathwanjahannamafīalaysamus'waddatunwujūhuhuml-lahiʿalākadhabūalladhīnatarāl-qiyāmatiwayawma
And (on the) Day(of) the Resurrectionyou will seethose wholiedaboutAllahtheir faces(will be) blackenedIs (there) notinHellan abodefor the arrogant
39:60
وَيُنَجِّىٱللَّهُٱلَّذِينَٱتَّقَوْا۟بِمَفَازَتِهِمْلَايَمَسُّهُمُٱلسُّوٓءُوَلَاهُمْيَحْزَنُونَ
yaḥzanūnahumwalāl-sūuyamassuhumulābimafāzatihimittaqawalladhīnal-lahuwayunajjī
And Allah will deliverAnd Allah will deliverthose whofeared (Him)to their place of salvationnotwill touch themthe eviland nottheywill grieve
39:61
ٱللَّهُخَـٰلِقُكُلِّشَىْءٍۢ ۖوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢوَكِيلٌۭ
wakīlunshayinkulliʿalāwahuwashayinkullikhāliqual-lahu
Allah(is the) Creator(of) allthingsand He(is) overallthingsa Guardian
39:62
لَّهُۥمَقَالِيدُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗوَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِٱللَّهِأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ
l-khāsirūnahumuulāikal-lahibiāyātikafarūwa-alladhīnawal-arḍil-samāwātimaqālīdulahu
For Him(are the) keys(of) the heavensand the earthAnd those whodisbelievein (the) Verses(of) Allahthose they(are) the losers
39:63
قُلْأَفَغَيْرَٱللَّهِتَأْمُرُوٓنِّىٓأَعْبُدُأَيُّهَاٱلْجَـٰهِلُونَ
l-jāhilūnaayyuhāaʿbudutamurūnnīl-lahiafaghayraqul
SayIs (it) other thanAllahyou order me(to) worshipOignorant ones
39:64
وَلَقَدْأُوحِىَإِلَيْكَوَإِلَىٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِكَلَئِنْأَشْرَكْتَلَيَحْبَطَنَّعَمَلُكَوَلَتَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
l-khāsirīnaminawalatakūnannaʿamalukalayaḥbaṭannaashraktala-inqablikaminalladhīnawa-ilāilaykaūḥiyawalaqad
And verilyit has been revealedto youand tothose who(were) before you(were) before youifyou associate (with Allah)surely, will become worthlessyour deedsand you will surely beamongthe losers
39:65
بَلِٱللَّهَفَٱعْبُدْوَكُنمِّنَٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ
l-shākirīnaminawakunfa-uʿ'budl-lahabali
NayBut worship AllahBut worship Allahand beamongthe thankful ones
39:66
وَمَاقَدَرُوا۟ٱللَّهَحَقَّقَدْرِهِۦوَٱلْأَرْضُجَمِيعًۭاقَبْضَتُهُۥيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِوَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُمَطْوِيَّـٰتٌۢبِيَمِينِهِۦ ۚسُبْحَـٰنَهُۥوَتَعَـٰلَىٰعَمَّايُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūnaʿammāwataʿālāsub'ḥānahubiyamīnihimaṭwiyyātunwal-samāwātul-qiyāmatiyawmaqabḍatuhujamīʿanwal-arḍuqadrihiḥaqqal-lahaqadarūwamā
And notthey appraisedAllah(with) trueappraisalwhile the earthentirely(will be) in His Grip(on the) Day(of) the Resurrectionand the heavens(will be) foldedin His Right HandGlory be to HimAnd High is Heabove whatthey associate (with Him)
39:67
وَنُفِخَفِىٱلصُّورِفَصَعِقَمَنفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَنفِىٱلْأَرْضِإِلَّامَنشَآءَٱللَّهُ ۖثُمَّنُفِخَفِيهِأُخْرَىٰفَإِذَاهُمْقِيَامٌۭيَنظُرُونَ
yanẓurūnaqiyāmunhumfa-idhāukh'rāfīhinufikhathummal-lahushāamanillāl-arḍifīwamanl-samāwātifīmanfaṣaʿiqal-ṣūrifīwanufikha
And (will) be blown[in]the trumpetthen (will) fall deadwhoever(is) inthe heavensand whoever(is) onthe earthexceptwhomAllah willsAllah willsThen(it will) be blown[in it]a second timeand beholdThey(will be) standingwaiting
39:68
وَأَشْرَقَتِٱلْأَرْضُبِنُورِرَبِّهَاوَوُضِعَٱلْكِتَـٰبُوَجِا۟ىٓءَبِٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَوَٱلشُّهَدَآءِوَقُضِىَبَيْنَهُمبِٱلْحَقِّوَهُمْلَايُظْلَمُونَ
yuẓ'lamūnalāwahumbil-ḥaqibaynahumwaquḍiyawal-shuhadāibil-nabiyīnawajīal-kitābuwawuḍiʿarabbihābinūril-arḍuwa-ashraqati
And (will) shinethe earthwith (the) light(of) its Lordand (will) be placedthe Recordand (will) be broughtthe Prophetsand the witnessesand it (will) be judgedbetween themin truthand theywill not be wrongedwill not be wronged
39:69
وَوُفِّيَتْكُلُّنَفْسٍۢمَّاعَمِلَتْوَهُوَأَعْلَمُبِمَايَفْعَلُونَ
yafʿalūnabimāaʿlamuwahuwaʿamilatmānafsinkulluwawuffiyat
And (will) be paid in fulleverysoulwhatit didand He(is the) Best-Knowerof whatthey do
39:70
وَسِيقَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟إِلَىٰجَهَنَّمَزُمَرًا ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاجَآءُوهَافُتِحَتْأَبْوَٰبُهَاوَقَالَلَهُمْخَزَنَتُهَآأَلَمْيَأْتِكُمْرُسُلٌۭمِّنكُمْيَتْلُونَعَلَيْكُمْءَايَـٰتِرَبِّكُمْوَيُنذِرُونَكُمْلِقَآءَيَوْمِكُمْهَـٰذَا ۚقَالُوا۟بَلَىٰوَلَـٰكِنْحَقَّتْكَلِمَةُٱلْعَذَابِعَلَىٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīnaʿalāl-ʿadhābikalimatuḥaqqatwalākinbalāqālūhādhāyawmikumliqāawayundhirūnakumrabbikumāyātiʿalaykumyatlūnaminkumrusulunyatikumalamkhazanatuhālahumwaqālaabwābuhāfutiḥatjāūhāidhāḥattāzumaranjahannamailākafarūalladhīnawasīqa
And (will) be driventhose whodisbelievetoHell(in) groupsuntilwhenthey reach it(will) be openedits gatesand (will) sayto themits keepersDid notcome to youMessengersfrom yourecitingto you(the) Verses(of) your Lordand warning you(of the) meeting(of) your DaythisThey (will) sayYesButhas been justified(the) word(of) punishmentagainstthe disbelievers
39:71
قِيلَٱدْخُلُوٓا۟أَبْوَٰبَجَهَنَّمَخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَا ۖفَبِئْسَمَثْوَىٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
l-mutakabirīnamathwāfabi'safīhākhālidīnajahannamaabwābaud'khulūqīla
It will be saidEnter(the) gates(of) Hell(to) abide eternallythereinand wretched is(the) abode(of) the arrogant
39:72
وَسِيقَٱلَّذِينَٱتَّقَوْا۟رَبَّهُمْإِلَىٱلْجَنَّةِزُمَرًا ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاجَآءُوهَاوَفُتِحَتْأَبْوَٰبُهَاوَقَالَلَهُمْخَزَنَتُهَاسَلَـٰمٌعَلَيْكُمْطِبْتُمْفَٱدْخُلُوهَاخَـٰلِدِينَ
khālidīnafa-ud'khulūhāṭib'tumʿalaykumsalāmunkhazanatuhālahumwaqālaabwābuhāwafutiḥatjāūhāidhāḥattāzumaranl-janatiilārabbahumittaqawalladhīnawasīqa
And (will) be driventhose whofearedtheir LordtoParadise(in) groupsuntilwhenthey reach itand (will) be openedits gatesand (will) sayto themits keepersPeace beupon youyou have done wellso enter it(to) abide eternally
39:73
وَقَالُوا۟ٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِٱلَّذِىصَدَقَنَاوَعْدَهُۥوَأَوْرَثَنَاٱلْأَرْضَنَتَبَوَّأُمِنَٱلْجَنَّةِحَيْثُنَشَآءُ ۖفَنِعْمَأَجْرُٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ
l-ʿāmilīnaajrufaniʿ'manashāuḥaythul-janatiminanatabawwa-ul-arḍawa-awrathanāwaʿdahuṣadaqanāalladhīlillahil-ḥamduwaqālū
And they will sayAll praise(be) to AllahWhohas fulfilled for usHis promiseand has made us inheritthe earthwe may settle[from](in) Paradisewhereverwe wishSo excellent(is the) reward(of) the workers
39:74
وَتَرَىٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَحَآفِّينَمِنْحَوْلِٱلْعَرْشِيُسَبِّحُونَبِحَمْدِرَبِّهِمْ ۖوَقُضِىَبَيْنَهُمبِٱلْحَقِّوَقِيلَٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbilillahil-ḥamduwaqīlabil-ḥaqibaynahumwaquḍiyarabbihimbiḥamdiyusabbiḥūnal-ʿarshiḥawliminḥāffīnal-malāikatawatarā
And you will seethe Angelssurrounding[from]aroundthe Throneglorifying(the) praise(of) their LordAnd (will) be judgedbetween themin truthand it will be saidAll praise beto Allah(the) Lord(of) the worlds
39:75

Ha Meem
40:1
تَنزِيلُٱلْكِتَـٰبِمِنَٱللَّهِٱلْعَزِيزِٱلْعَلِيمِ
l-ʿalīmil-ʿazīzil-lahiminal-kitābitanzīlu
(The) revelation(of) the Book(is) fromAllahthe All-Mightythe All-Knower
40:2
غَافِرِٱلذَّنۢبِوَقَابِلِٱلتَّوْبِشَدِيدِٱلْعِقَابِذِىٱلطَّوْلِ ۖلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَ ۖإِلَيْهِٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīruilayhihuwaillāilāhalāl-ṭawlidhīl-ʿiqābishadīdil-tawbiwaqābilil-dhanbighāfiri
(The) Forgiver(of) the sinand (the) Acceptor(of) [the] repentancesevere(in) the punishmentOwner (of) the abundanceOwner (of) the abundance(There is) nogodexceptHimto Him(is) the final return
40:3
مَايُجَـٰدِلُفِىٓءَايَـٰتِٱللَّهِإِلَّاٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟فَلَايَغْرُرْكَتَقَلُّبُهُمْفِىٱلْبِلَـٰدِ
l-bilādifītaqallubuhumyaghrur'kafalākafarūalladhīnaillāl-lahiāyātifīyujādilumā
Notdisputeconcerning(the) Verses(of) Allahexceptthose whodisbelieveso (let) notdeceive youtheir movementinthe cities
40:4
كَذَّبَتْقَبْلَهُمْقَوْمُنُوحٍۢوَٱلْأَحْزَابُمِنۢبَعْدِهِمْ ۖوَهَمَّتْكُلُّأُمَّةٍۭبِرَسُولِهِمْلِيَأْخُذُوهُ ۖوَجَـٰدَلُوا۟بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِلِيُدْحِضُوا۟بِهِٱلْحَقَّفَأَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖفَكَيْفَكَانَعِقَابِ
ʿiqābikānafakayfafa-akhadhtuhuml-ḥaqabihiliyud'ḥiḍūbil-bāṭiliwajādalūliyakhudhūhubirasūlihimummatinkulluwahammatbaʿdihimminwal-aḥzābunūḥinqawmuqablahumkadhabat
Deniedbefore them(the) people(of) Nuhand the factionsafter themafter themand plottedeverynationagainst their Messengerto seize himand they disputedby falsehoodto refutetherebythe truthSo I seized themThen howwasMy penalty
40:5
وَكَذَٰلِكَحَقَّتْكَلِمَتُرَبِّكَعَلَىٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟أَنَّهُمْأَصْحَـٰبُٱلنَّارِ
l-nāriaṣḥābuannahumkafarūalladhīnaʿalārabbikakalimatuḥaqqatwakadhālika
And thushas been justified(the) Word(of) your Lordagainstthose whodisbelievedthat they(are) companions(of) the Fire
40:6
ٱلَّذِينَيَحْمِلُونَٱلْعَرْشَوَمَنْحَوْلَهُۥيُسَبِّحُونَبِحَمْدِرَبِّهِمْوَيُؤْمِنُونَبِهِۦوَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَلِلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟رَبَّنَاوَسِعْتَكُلَّشَىْءٍۢرَّحْمَةًۭوَعِلْمًۭافَٱغْفِرْلِلَّذِينَتَابُوا۟وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟سَبِيلَكَوَقِهِمْعَذَابَٱلْجَحِيمِ
l-jaḥīmiʿadhābawaqihimsabīlakawa-ittabaʿūtābūlilladhīnafa-igh'firwaʿil'manraḥmatanshayinkullawasiʿ'tarabbanāāmanūlilladhīnawayastaghfirūnabihiwayu'minūnarabbihimbiḥamdiyusabbiḥūnaḥawlahuwamanl-ʿarshayaḥmilūnaalladhīna
Those whobearthe Throneand who(are) around itglorify(the) praises(of) their Lordand believein Himand ask forgivenessfor those whobelieveOur LordYou encompassallthings(by Your) Mercyand knowledgeso forgivethose whorepentand followYour Wayand save them (from)(the) punishment(of) the Hellfire
40:7
رَبَّنَاوَأَدْخِلْهُمْجَنَّـٰتِعَدْنٍٱلَّتِىوَعَدتَّهُمْوَمَنصَلَحَمِنْءَابَآئِهِمْوَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْوَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمْ ۚإِنَّكَأَنتَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿazīzuantainnakawadhurriyyātihimwa-azwājihimābāihimminṣalaḥawamanwaʿadttahumallatīʿadninjannātiwa-adkhil'humrabbanā
Our LordAnd admit them(to) Gardens(of) EdenwhichYou have promised themand whoever(was) righteousamongtheir fathersand their spousesand their offspringIndeed YouYou(are) the All-Mightythe All-Wise
40:8
وَقِهِمُٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚوَمَنتَقِٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِيَوْمَئِذٍۢفَقَدْرَحِمْتَهُۥ ۚوَذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلْفَوْزُٱلْعَظِيمُ
l-ʿaẓīmul-fawzuhuwawadhālikaraḥim'tahufaqadyawma-idhinl-sayiātitaqiwamanl-sayiātiwaqihimu
And protect them(from) the evilsAnd whoeveryou protect(from) the evilsthat Daythen verilyYou have bestowed mercy on himAnd that[it](is) the successthe great
40:9
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟يُنَادَوْنَلَمَقْتُٱللَّهِأَكْبَرُمِنمَّقْتِكُمْأَنفُسَكُمْإِذْتُدْعَوْنَإِلَىٱلْإِيمَـٰنِفَتَكْفُرُونَ
fatakfurūnal-īmāniilātud'ʿawnaidhanfusakummaqtikumminakbarul-lahilamaqtuyunādawnakafarūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whodisbelievedwill be cried out to themCertainly Allah's hatredCertainly Allah's hatred(was) greaterthanyour hatred(of) yourselveswhenyou were calledtothe faithand you disbelieved
40:10
قَالُوا۟رَبَّنَآأَمَتَّنَاٱثْنَتَيْنِوَأَحْيَيْتَنَاٱثْنَتَيْنِفَٱعْتَرَفْنَابِذُنُوبِنَافَهَلْإِلَىٰخُرُوجٍۢمِّنسَبِيلٍۢ
sabīlinminkhurūjinilāfahalbidhunūbināfa-iʿ'tarafnāith'natayniwa-aḥyaytanāith'natayniamattanārabbanāqālū
They (will) sayOur LordYou gave us deathtwiceand You gave us lifetwiceand we confessour sinsSo is (there)toget outanyway
40:11
ذَٰلِكُمبِأَنَّهُۥٓإِذَادُعِىَٱللَّهُوَحْدَهُۥكَفَرْتُمْ ۖوَإِنيُشْرَكْبِهِۦتُؤْمِنُوا۟ ۚفَٱلْحُكْمُلِلَّهِٱلْعَلِىِّٱلْكَبِيرِ
l-kabīril-ʿaliyilillahifal-ḥuk'mutu'minūbihiyush'rakwa-inkafartumwaḥdahul-lahuduʿiyaidhābi-annahudhālikum
That(is) becausewhenAllah was invokedAllah was invokedAloneyou disbelievedbut if(others) were associatedwith Himyou believedSo the judgment(is) with Allahthe Most Highthe Most Great
40:12
هُوَٱلَّذِىيُرِيكُمْءَايَـٰتِهِۦوَيُنَزِّلُلَكُممِّنَٱلسَّمَآءِرِزْقًۭا ۚوَمَايَتَذَكَّرُإِلَّامَنيُنِيبُ
yunībumanillāyatadhakkaruwamāriz'qanl-samāiminalakumwayunazziluāyātihiyurīkumalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whoshows youHis Signsand sends downfor youfromthe skyprovisionBut (does) nottake heedexcept(one) whoturns
40:13
فَٱدْعُوا۟ٱللَّهَمُخْلِصِينَلَهُٱلدِّينَوَلَوْكَرِهَٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
l-kāfirūnakarihawalawl-dīnalahumukh'liṣīnal-lahafa-id'ʿū
So invokeAllah(being) sincereto Him(in) the religioneven thoughdislike (it)the disbelievers
40:14
رَفِيعُٱلدَّرَجَـٰتِذُوٱلْعَرْشِيُلْقِىٱلرُّوحَمِنْأَمْرِهِۦعَلَىٰمَنيَشَآءُمِنْعِبَادِهِۦلِيُنذِرَيَوْمَٱلتَّلَاقِ
l-talāqiyawmaliyundhiraʿibādihiminyashāumanʿalāamrihiminl-rūḥayul'qīl-ʿarshidhūl-darajātirafīʿu
Possessor of the Highest RanksPossessor of the Highest RanksOwner (of) the ThroneOwner (of) the ThroneHe placesthe inspirationofHis CommanduponwhomHe willsofHis slavesto warn(of the) Day(of) the Meeting
40:15
يَوْمَهُمبَـٰرِزُونَ ۖلَايَخْفَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِمِنْهُمْشَىْءٌۭ ۚلِّمَنِٱلْمُلْكُٱلْيَوْمَ ۖلِلَّهِٱلْوَٰحِدِٱلْقَهَّارِ
l-qahāril-wāḥidilillahil-yawmal-mul'kulimanishayonmin'huml-lahiʿalāyakhfālābārizūnahumyawma
(The) Daytheycome forthnotis hiddenfromAllahabout themanythingFor whom(is) the Dominionthis DayFor Allahthe Onethe Irresistible
40:16
ٱلْيَوْمَتُجْزَىٰكُلُّنَفْسٍۭبِمَاكَسَبَتْ ۚلَاظُلْمَٱلْيَوْمَ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَسَرِيعُٱلْحِسَابِ
l-ḥisābisarīʿul-lahainnal-yawmaẓul'malākasabatbimānafsinkullutuj'zāal-yawma
This Daywill be recompensedeverysoulfor whatit earnedNoinjusticetodayIndeedAllah(is) Swift(in) Account
40:17
وَأَنذِرْهُمْيَوْمَٱلْـَٔازِفَةِإِذِٱلْقُلُوبُلَدَىٱلْحَنَاجِرِكَـٰظِمِينَ ۚمَالِلظَّـٰلِمِينَمِنْحَمِيمٍۢوَلَاشَفِيعٍۢيُطَاعُ
yuṭāʿushafīʿinwalāḥamīminminlilẓẓālimīnamākāẓimīnal-ḥanājiriladāl-qulūbuidhil-āzifatiyawmawa-andhir'hum
And warn them(of the) Daythe Approachingwhenthe hearts(are) atthe throatschokedNotfor the wrongdoersanyintimate friendand nointercessor(who) is obeyed
40:18
يَعْلَمُخَآئِنَةَٱلْأَعْيُنِوَمَاتُخْفِىٱلصُّدُورُ
l-ṣudūrutukh'fīwamāl-aʿyunikhāinatayaʿlamu
He knows(the) stealthy glance(the) stealthy glanceand whatconcealthe breasts
40:19
وَٱللَّهُيَقْضِىبِٱلْحَقِّ ۖوَٱلَّذِينَيَدْعُونَمِندُونِهِۦلَايَقْضُونَبِشَىْءٍ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْبَصِيرُ
l-baṣīrul-samīʿuhuwal-lahainnabishayinyaqḍūnalādūnihiminyadʿūnawa-alladhīnabil-ḥaqiyaqḍīwal-lahu
And Allahjudgesin truthwhile those (whom)they invokebesides Himbesides Himnotthey judgewith anythingIndeedAllah He(is) the All-Hearerthe All-Seer
40:20
۞ أَوَلَمْيَسِيرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِفَيَنظُرُوا۟كَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلَّذِينَكَانُوا۟مِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۚكَانُوا۟هُمْأَشَدَّمِنْهُمْقُوَّةًۭوَءَاثَارًۭافِىٱلْأَرْضِفَأَخَذَهُمُٱللَّهُبِذُنُوبِهِمْوَمَاكَانَلَهُممِّنَٱللَّهِمِنوَاقٍۢ
wāqinminl-lahiminalahumkānawamābidhunūbihiml-lahufa-akhadhahumul-arḍifīwaāthāranquwwatanmin'humashaddahumkānūqablihimminkānūalladhīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafayanẓurūl-arḍifīyasīrūawalam
Do notthey travelinthe earthand seehowwas(the) end(of) those whowerebefore thembefore themThey were[they]superiorto them(in) strengthand (in) impressionsinthe landbut Allah seized thembut Allah seized themfor their sinsand notwasfor themagainstAllahanyprotector
40:21
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّهُمْكَانَتتَّأْتِيهِمْرُسُلُهُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِفَكَفَرُوا۟فَأَخَذَهُمُٱللَّهُ ۚإِنَّهُۥقَوِىٌّۭشَدِيدُٱلْعِقَابِ
l-ʿiqābishadīduqawiyyuninnahul-lahufa-akhadhahumufakafarūbil-bayinātirusuluhumtatīhimkānatbi-annahumdhālika
That(was) because [they]used to come to themused to come to themtheir Messengerswith clear proofsbut they disbelievedSo Allah seized themSo Allah seized themIndeed, He(is) All-Strongsevere(in) punishment
40:22
وَلَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَامُوسَىٰبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاوَسُلْطَـٰنٍۢمُّبِينٍ
mubīninwasul'ṭāninbiāyātināmūsāarsalnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe sentMusawith Our Signsand an authorityclear
40:23
إِلَىٰفِرْعَوْنَوَهَـٰمَـٰنَوَقَـٰرُونَفَقَالُوا۟سَـٰحِرٌۭكَذَّابٌۭ
kadhābunsāḥirunfaqālūwaqārūnawahāmānafir'ʿawnailā
ToFiraunHamanand Qarunbut they saidA magiciana liar
40:24
فَلَمَّاجَآءَهُمبِٱلْحَقِّمِنْعِندِنَاقَالُوا۟ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟أَبْنَآءَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟مَعَهُۥوَٱسْتَحْيُوا۟نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚوَمَاكَيْدُٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَإِلَّافِىضَلَـٰلٍۢ
ḍalālinfīillāl-kāfirīnakayduwamānisāahumwa-is'taḥyūmaʿahuāmanūalladhīnaabnāauq'tulūqālūʿindināminbil-ḥaqijāahumfalammā
Then whenhe brought to themthe truthfromUsthey saidKill(the) sons(of) those whobelievewith himand let livetheir womenAnd not(is the) plot(of) the disbelieversbutinerror
40:25
وَقَالَفِرْعَوْنُذَرُونِىٓأَقْتُلْمُوسَىٰوَلْيَدْعُرَبَّهُۥٓ ۖإِنِّىٓأَخَافُأَنيُبَدِّلَدِينَكُمْأَوْأَنيُظْهِرَفِىٱلْأَرْضِٱلْفَسَادَ
l-fasādal-arḍifīyuẓ'hiraanawdīnakumyubaddilaanakhāfuinnīrabbahuwalyadʿumūsāaqtuldharūnīfir'ʿawnuwaqāla
And saidFiraunLeave me(so that) I killMusaand let him callhis LordIndeed, I[I] fearthathe will changeyour religionorthathe may cause to appearinthe landthe corruption
40:26
وَقَالَمُوسَىٰٓإِنِّىعُذْتُبِرَبِّىوَرَبِّكُممِّنكُلِّمُتَكَبِّرٍۢلَّايُؤْمِنُبِيَوْمِٱلْحِسَابِ
l-ḥisābibiyawmiyu'minulāmutakabbirinkulliminwarabbikumbirabbīʿudh'tuinnīmūsāwaqāla
And saidMusaIndeed, I[I] seek refugein my Lordand your Lordfromeveryarrogant onenotwho believes(in the) Day(of) the Account
40:27
وَقَالَرَجُلٌۭمُّؤْمِنٌۭمِّنْءَالِفِرْعَوْنَيَكْتُمُإِيمَـٰنَهُۥٓأَتَقْتُلُونَرَجُلًاأَنيَقُولَرَبِّىَٱللَّهُوَقَدْجَآءَكُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِمِنرَّبِّكُمْ ۖوَإِنيَكُكَـٰذِبًۭافَعَلَيْهِكَذِبُهُۥ ۖوَإِنيَكُصَادِقًۭايُصِبْكُمبَعْضُٱلَّذِىيَعِدُكُمْ ۖإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايَهْدِىمَنْهُوَمُسْرِفٌۭكَذَّابٌۭ
kadhābunmus'rifunhuwamanyahdīlāl-lahainnayaʿidukumalladhībaʿḍuyuṣib'kumṣādiqanyakuwa-inkadhibuhufaʿalayhikādhibanyakuwa-inrabbikumminbil-bayinātijāakumwaqadl-lahurabbiyayaqūlaanrajulanataqtulūnaīmānahuyaktumufir'ʿawnaāliminmu'minunrajulunwaqāla
And saida manbelievingfrom(the) family(of) Firaunwho conceal(ed)his faithWill you killa manbecausehe saysMy Lord(is) Allahand indeedhe has brought youclear proofsfromyour LordAnd ifhe isa liarthen upon him(is) his lieand ifhe istruthful(there) will strike yousome (of)(that) whichhe threatens youIndeedAllah(does) notguide(one) who[he](is) a transgressora liar
40:28
يَـٰقَوْمِلَكُمُٱلْمُلْكُٱلْيَوْمَظَـٰهِرِينَفِىٱلْأَرْضِفَمَنيَنصُرُنَامِنۢبَأْسِٱللَّهِإِنجَآءَنَا ۚقَالَفِرْعَوْنُمَآأُرِيكُمْإِلَّامَآأَرَىٰوَمَآأَهْدِيكُمْإِلَّاسَبِيلَٱلرَّشَادِ
l-rashādisabīlaillāahdīkumwamāarāmāillāurīkummāfir'ʿawnuqālajāanāinl-lahibasiminyanṣurunāfamanl-arḍifīẓāhirīnal-yawmal-mul'kulakumuyāqawmi
O my peopleFor you(is) the kingdomtodaydominantinthe landbut whowill help usfrom(the) punishment(of) Allahifit came to usSaidFiraunNotI show youexceptwhatI seeand notI guide youexcept(to the) paththe right
40:29
وَقَالَٱلَّذِىٓءَامَنَيَـٰقَوْمِإِنِّىٓأَخَافُعَلَيْكُممِّثْلَيَوْمِٱلْأَحْزَابِ
l-aḥzābiyawmimith'laʿalaykumakhāfuinnīyāqawmiāmanaalladhīwaqāla
And said(he) whobelievedO my peopleIndeed I[I] fearfor youlike(the) day(of) the companies
40:30
مِثْلَدَأْبِقَوْمِنُوحٍۢوَعَادٍۢوَثَمُودَوَٱلَّذِينَمِنۢبَعْدِهِمْ ۚوَمَاٱللَّهُيُرِيدُظُلْمًۭالِّلْعِبَادِ
lil'ʿibādiẓul'manyurīdul-lahuwamābaʿdihimminwa-alladhīnawathamūdawaʿādinnūḥinqawmidabimith'la
Like(the) plight(of the) people(of) Nuhand Aadand Thamudand thoseafter themafter themAnd Allah (does) notAnd Allah (does) notwantinjusticefor (His) slaves
40:31
وَيَـٰقَوْمِإِنِّىٓأَخَافُعَلَيْكُمْيَوْمَٱلتَّنَادِ
l-tanādiyawmaʿalaykumakhāfuinnīwayāqawmi
And O my peopleIndeed, I[I] fearfor you(the) Day(of) Calling
40:32
يَوْمَتُوَلُّونَمُدْبِرِينَمَالَكُممِّنَٱللَّهِمِنْعَاصِمٍۢ ۗوَمَنيُضْلِلِٱللَّهُفَمَالَهُۥمِنْهَادٍۢ
hādinminlahufamāl-lahuyuḍ'liliwamanʿāṣiminminl-lahiminalakummāmud'birīnatuwallūnayawma
A Dayyou will turn backfleeingnotfor youfromAllahanyprotectorAnd whoeverAllah lets go astrayAllah lets go astraythen notfor himanyguide
40:33
وَلَقَدْجَآءَكُمْيُوسُفُمِنقَبْلُبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِفَمَازِلْتُمْفِىشَكٍّۢمِّمَّاجَآءَكُمبِهِۦ ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاهَلَكَقُلْتُمْلَنيَبْعَثَٱللَّهُمِنۢبَعْدِهِۦرَسُولًۭا ۚكَذَٰلِكَيُضِلُّٱللَّهُمَنْهُوَمُسْرِفٌۭمُّرْتَابٌ
mur'tābunmus'rifunhuwamanl-lahuyuḍillukadhālikarasūlanbaʿdihiminl-lahuyabʿathalanqul'tumhalakaidhāḥattābihijāakummimmāshakkinfīzil'tumfamābil-bayinātiqabluminyūsufujāakumwalaqad
And indeedcame to youYusufbeforebeforewith clear proofsbut notyou ceasedindoubtabout whathe brought to you[with it]untilwhenhe diedyou saidNeverwill Allah raisewill Allah raiseafter himafter hima MessengerThusAllah lets go astrayAllah lets go astraywho[he](is) a transgressora doubter
40:34
ٱلَّذِينَيُجَـٰدِلُونَفِىٓءَايَـٰتِٱللَّهِبِغَيْرِسُلْطَـٰنٍأَتَىٰهُمْ ۖكَبُرَمَقْتًاعِندَٱللَّهِوَعِندَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ ۚكَذَٰلِكَيَطْبَعُٱللَّهُعَلَىٰكُلِّقَلْبِمُتَكَبِّرٍۢجَبَّارٍۢ
jabbārinmutakabbirinqalbikulliʿalāl-lahuyaṭbaʿukadhālikaāmanūalladhīnawaʿindal-lahiʿindamaqtankaburaatāhumsul'ṭāninbighayril-lahiāyātifīyujādilūnaalladhīna
Those whodisputeconcerning(the) Signs(of) Allahwithoutany authority(having) come to them(it) is greatlyhatefulnear Allahnear Allahand nearthosewho believeThusAllah sets a sealAllah sets a sealovereveryheart(of) an arroganttyrant
40:35
وَقَالَفِرْعَوْنُيَـٰهَـٰمَـٰنُٱبْنِلِىصَرْحًۭالَّعَلِّىٓأَبْلُغُٱلْأَسْبَـٰبَ
l-asbābaablughulaʿallīṣarḥanlīib'niyāhāmānufir'ʿawnuwaqāla
And saidFiraunO HamanConstructfor mea towerthat I mayreachthe ways
40:36
أَسْبَـٰبَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِفَأَطَّلِعَإِلَىٰٓإِلَـٰهِمُوسَىٰوَإِنِّىلَأَظُنُّهُۥكَـٰذِبًۭا ۚوَكَذَٰلِكَزُيِّنَلِفِرْعَوْنَسُوٓءُعَمَلِهِۦوَصُدَّعَنِٱلسَّبِيلِ ۚوَمَاكَيْدُفِرْعَوْنَإِلَّافِىتَبَابٍۢ
tabābinfīillāfir'ʿawnakayduwamāl-sabīliʿaniwaṣuddaʿamalihisūulifir'ʿawnazuyyinawakadhālikakādhibanla-aẓunnuhuwa-innīmūsāilāhiilāfa-aṭṭaliʿal-samāwātiasbāba
(The) ways(to) the heavensso I may lookat(the) God(of) Musaand indeed, I[I] surely think him(to be) a liarAnd thuswas made fair-seemingto Firaun(the) evil(of) his deedand he was avertedfromthe wayAnd not(was the) plot(of) Firaunexceptinruin
40:37
وَقَالَٱلَّذِىٓءَامَنَيَـٰقَوْمِٱتَّبِعُونِأَهْدِكُمْسَبِيلَٱلرَّشَادِ
l-rashādisabīlaahdikumittabiʿūniyāqawmiāmanaalladhīwaqāla
And saidthe one whobelievedO my peopleFollow meI will guide you(to the) waythe right
40:38
يَـٰقَوْمِإِنَّمَاهَـٰذِهِٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَامَتَـٰعٌۭوَإِنَّٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَهِىَدَارُٱلْقَرَارِ
l-qarāridāruhiyal-ākhiratawa-innamatāʿunl-dun'yāl-ḥayatuhādhihiinnamāyāqawmi
O my peopleOnlythisthe life(of) the world(is) enjoymentand indeedthe Hereafter it(is the) home(of) settlement
40:39
مَنْعَمِلَسَيِّئَةًۭفَلَايُجْزَىٰٓإِلَّامِثْلَهَا ۖوَمَنْعَمِلَصَـٰلِحًۭامِّنذَكَرٍأَوْأُنثَىٰوَهُوَمُؤْمِنٌۭفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَيَدْخُلُونَٱلْجَنَّةَيُرْزَقُونَفِيهَابِغَيْرِحِسَابٍۢ
ḥisābinbighayrifīhāyur'zaqūnal-janatayadkhulūnafa-ulāikamu'minunwahuwaunthāawdhakarinminṣāliḥanʿamilawamanmith'lahāillāyuj'zāfalāsayyi-atanʿamilaman
Whoeverdoesan evilthen nothe will be recompensedbut(the) like thereofand whoeverdoesrighteous (deeds)ofmaleorfemalewhile he(is) a believerthen thosewill enterParadisethey will be given provisionin itwithoutaccount
40:40
۞ وَيَـٰقَوْمِمَالِىٓأَدْعُوكُمْإِلَىٱلنَّجَوٰةِوَتَدْعُونَنِىٓإِلَىٱلنَّارِ
l-nāriilāwatadʿūnanīl-najatiilāadʿūkumlīmāwayāqawmi
And O my peopleWhat (is)for me(that) I call youtothe salvationwhile you call metothe Fire
40:41
تَدْعُونَنِىلِأَكْفُرَبِٱللَّهِوَأُشْرِكَبِهِۦمَالَيْسَلِىبِهِۦعِلْمٌۭوَأَنَا۠أَدْعُوكُمْإِلَىٱلْعَزِيزِٱلْغَفَّـٰرِ
l-ghafāril-ʿazīziilāadʿūkumwa-anāʿil'munbihilīlaysamābihiwa-ush'rikabil-lahili-akfuratadʿūnanī
You call methat I disbelievein Allahand (to) associatewith Himwhatnotfor meof itany knowledgeand Icall youtothe All-Mightythe Oft-Forgiving
40:42
لَاجَرَمَأَنَّمَاتَدْعُونَنِىٓإِلَيْهِلَيْسَلَهُۥدَعْوَةٌۭفِىٱلدُّنْيَاوَلَافِىٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِوَأَنَّمَرَدَّنَآإِلَىٱللَّهِوَأَنَّٱلْمُسْرِفِينَهُمْأَصْحَـٰبُٱلنَّارِ
l-nāriaṣḥābuhuml-mus'rifīnawa-annal-lahiilāmaraddanāwa-annal-ākhiratifīwalāl-dun'yāfīdaʿwatunlahulaysailayhitadʿūnanīannamājaramalā
Nodoubtthat whatyou call meto itnotfor ita claiminthe worldand notinthe Hereafterand thatour return(is) toAllahand thatthe transgressors they(will be the) companions(of) the Fire
40:43
فَسَتَذْكُرُونَمَآأَقُولُلَكُمْ ۚوَأُفَوِّضُأَمْرِىٓإِلَىٱللَّهِ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَبَصِيرٌۢبِٱلْعِبَادِ
bil-ʿibādibaṣīrunl-lahainnal-lahiilāamrīwa-ufawwiḍulakumaqūlumāfasatadhkurūna
And you will rememberwhatI sayto youand I entrustmy affairtoAllahIndeedAllah(is) All-Seerof (His) slaves
40:44
فَوَقَىٰهُٱللَّهُسَيِّـَٔاتِمَامَكَرُوا۟ ۖوَحَاقَبِـَٔالِفِرْعَوْنَسُوٓءُٱلْعَذَابِ
l-ʿadhābisūufir'ʿawnabiāliwaḥāqamakarūmāsayyiātil-lahufawaqāhu
So Allah protected himSo Allah protected him(from the) evilsthatthey plottedand enveloped(the) people(of) Firaun(the) worstpunishment
40:45
ٱلنَّارُيُعْرَضُونَعَلَيْهَاغُدُوًّۭاوَعَشِيًّۭا ۖوَيَوْمَتَقُومُٱلسَّاعَةُأَدْخِلُوٓا۟ءَالَفِرْعَوْنَأَشَدَّٱلْعَذَابِ
l-ʿadhābiashaddafir'ʿawnaālaadkhilūl-sāʿatutaqūmuwayawmawaʿashiyyanghuduwwanʿalayhāyuʿ'raḍūnaal-nāru
The Firethey are exposedto itmorningand eveningAnd (the) Day(will be) establishedthe HourCause to enter(the) people(of) Firaun(in the) severestpunishment
40:46
وَإِذْيَتَحَآجُّونَفِىٱلنَّارِفَيَقُولُٱلضُّعَفَـٰٓؤُا۟لِلَّذِينَٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟إِنَّاكُنَّالَكُمْتَبَعًۭافَهَلْأَنتُممُّغْنُونَعَنَّانَصِيبًۭامِّنَٱلنَّارِ
l-nāriminanaṣībanʿannāmugh'nūnaantumfahaltabaʿanlakumkunnāinnāis'takbarūlilladhīnal-ḍuʿafāufayaqūlul-nārifīyataḥājjūnawa-idh
And whenthey will disputeinthe Firethen will saythe weakto those whowere arrogantIndeed, we[we] werefor youfollowersso canyouavertfrom usa portionofthe Fire
40:47
قَالَٱلَّذِينَٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟إِنَّاكُلٌّۭفِيهَآإِنَّٱللَّهَقَدْحَكَمَبَيْنَٱلْعِبَادِ
l-ʿibādibaynaḥakamaqadl-lahainnafīhākulluninnāis'takbarūalladhīnaqāla
Will saythose who(were) arrogantIndeed, weall(are) in itIndeedAllahcertainlyhas judgedbetween(His) slaves
40:48
وَقَالَٱلَّذِينَفِىٱلنَّارِلِخَزَنَةِجَهَنَّمَٱدْعُوا۟رَبَّكُمْيُخَفِّفْعَنَّايَوْمًۭامِّنَٱلْعَذَابِ
l-ʿadhābiminayawmanʿannāyukhaffifrabbakumid'ʿūjahannamalikhazanatil-nārifīalladhīnawaqāla
And will saythoseinthe Fireto (the) keepers(of) HellCallyour Lord(to) lightenfor usa dayofthe punishment
40:49
قَالُوٓا۟أَوَلَمْتَكُتَأْتِيكُمْرُسُلُكُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ۖقَالُوا۟بَلَىٰ ۚقَالُوا۟فَٱدْعُوا۟ ۗوَمَادُعَـٰٓؤُا۟ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَإِلَّافِىضَلَـٰلٍ
ḍalālinfīillāl-kāfirīnaduʿāuwamāfa-id'ʿūqālūbalāqālūbil-bayinātirusulukumtatīkumtakuawalamqālū
They (will) sayDid there notDid there notcome to youyour Messengerswith clear proofsThey (will) sayYesThey (will) sayThen callbut not(is the) call(of) the disbelieversexceptinerror
40:50
إِنَّالَنَنصُرُرُسُلَنَاوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟فِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاوَيَوْمَيَقُومُٱلْأَشْهَـٰدُ
l-ashhāduyaqūmuwayawmal-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīāmanūwa-alladhīnarusulanālananṣuruinnā
Indeed WeWe will surely helpOur Messengersand those whobelieveinthe life(of) the worldand (on the) Day(when) will standthe witnesses
40:51
يَوْمَلَايَنفَعُٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَمَعْذِرَتُهُمْ ۖوَلَهُمُٱللَّعْنَةُوَلَهُمْسُوٓءُٱلدَّارِ
l-dārisūuwalahuml-laʿnatuwalahumumaʿdhiratuhuml-ẓālimīnayanfaʿulāyawma
(The) Daynotwill benefitthe wrongdoerstheir excuseand for them(is) the curseand for them(is the) worsthome
40:52
وَلَقَدْءَاتَيْنَامُوسَىٱلْهُدَىٰوَأَوْرَثْنَابَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَٱلْكِتَـٰبَ
l-kitābais'rāīlabanīwa-awrathnāl-hudāmūsāātaynāwalaqad
And certainlyWe gaveMusathe guidanceand We caused to inherit(the) Children of Israel(the) Children of Israelthe Book
40:53
هُدًۭىوَذِكْرَىٰلِأُو۟لِىٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ
l-albābili-ulīwadhik'rāhudan
A guideand a reminderfor those(of) understanding
40:54
فَٱصْبِرْإِنَّوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقٌّۭوَٱسْتَغْفِرْلِذَنۢبِكَوَسَبِّحْبِحَمْدِرَبِّكَبِٱلْعَشِىِّوَٱلْإِبْكَـٰرِ
wal-ib'kāribil-ʿashiyirabbikabiḥamdiwasabbiḥlidhanbikawa-is'taghfirḥaqqunl-lahiwaʿdainnafa-iṣ'bir
So be patientindeed(the) Promise of Allah(the) Promise of Allah(is) trueAnd ask forgivenessfor your sinand glorify(the) praise(of) your Lordin the eveningand the morning
40:55
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَيُجَـٰدِلُونَفِىٓءَايَـٰتِٱللَّهِبِغَيْرِسُلْطَـٰنٍأَتَىٰهُمْ ۙإِنفِىصُدُورِهِمْإِلَّاكِبْرٌۭمَّاهُمبِبَـٰلِغِيهِ ۚفَٱسْتَعِذْبِٱللَّهِ ۖإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْبَصِيرُ
l-baṣīrul-samīʿuhuwainnahubil-lahifa-is'taʿidhbibālighīhihummākib'runillāṣudūrihimfīinatāhumsul'ṭāninbighayril-lahiāyātifīyujādilūnaalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whodisputeconcerning(the) Signs(of) Allahwithoutany authority(which) came to themnot(is) intheir breastsbutgreatnessnotthey(can) reach itSo seek refugein AllahIndeed HeHe(is) the All-Hearerthe All-Seer
40:56
لَخَلْقُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِأَكْبَرُمِنْخَلْقِٱلنَّاسِوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَٱلنَّاسِلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāl-nāsiaktharawalākinnal-nāsikhalqiminakbaruwal-arḍil-samāwātilakhalqu
Surely, (the) creation(of) the heavensand the earth(is) greaterthan(the) creation(of) the mankindbutmost(of) the people(do) notknow
40:57
وَمَايَسْتَوِىٱلْأَعْمَىٰوَٱلْبَصِيرُوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِوَلَاٱلْمُسِىٓءُ ۚقَلِيلًۭامَّاتَتَذَكَّرُونَ
tatadhakkarūnamāqalīlanl-musīuwalāl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūwa-alladhīnawal-baṣīrul-aʿmāyastawīwamā
And not(are) equalthe blindand the seeingand those whobelieveand dorighteous deedsand notthe evildoerLittle(is) whatyou take heed
40:58
إِنَّٱلسَّاعَةَلَـَٔاتِيَةٌۭلَّارَيْبَفِيهَاوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَٱلنَّاسِلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalāl-nāsiaktharawalākinnafīhāraybalālaātiyatunl-sāʿatainna
Indeedthe Hour(is) surely comingnodoubtin itbutmost(of) the people(do) notbelieve
40:59
وَقَالَرَبُّكُمُٱدْعُونِىٓأَسْتَجِبْلَكُمْ ۚإِنَّٱلَّذِينَيَسْتَكْبِرُونَعَنْعِبَادَتِىسَيَدْخُلُونَجَهَنَّمَدَاخِرِينَ
dākhirīnajahannamasayadkhulūnaʿibādatīʿanyastakbirūnaalladhīnainnalakumastajibid'ʿūnīrabbukumuwaqāla
And saidyour LordCall upon MeI will respondto youIndeedthose who(are) proudtoworship Mewill enterHell(in) humiliation
40:60
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىجَعَلَلَكُمُٱلَّيْلَلِتَسْكُنُوا۟فِيهِوَٱلنَّهَارَمُبْصِرًا ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَلَذُوفَضْلٍعَلَىٱلنَّاسِوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَٱلنَّاسِلَايَشْكُرُونَ
yashkurūnalāl-nāsiaktharawalākinnal-nāsiʿalāfaḍlinladhūl-lahainnamub'ṣiranwal-nahārafīhilitaskunūal-laylalakumujaʿalaalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whomadefor youthe nightthat you may restin itand the daygiving visibilityIndeedAllah(is) Full (of) Bounty(is) Full (of) Bountytothe peoplebutmost(of) the people(do) notgive thanks
40:61
ذَٰلِكُمُٱللَّهُرَبُّكُمْخَـٰلِقُكُلِّشَىْءٍۢلَّآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَ ۖفَأَنَّىٰتُؤْفَكُونَ
tu'fakūnafa-annāhuwaillāilāhalāshayinkullikhāliqurabbukuml-lahudhālikumu
That(is) Allahyour Lord(the) Creator(of) allthings(there is) nogodexceptHimSo howare you deluded
40:62
كَذَٰلِكَيُؤْفَكُٱلَّذِينَكَانُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِٱللَّهِيَجْحَدُونَ
yajḥadūnal-lahibiāyātikānūalladhīnayu'fakukadhālika
Thuswere deludedthose whowere (the) Signs(of) Allahrejecting
40:63
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىجَعَلَلَكُمُٱلْأَرْضَقَرَارًۭاوَٱلسَّمَآءَبِنَآءًۭوَصَوَّرَكُمْفَأَحْسَنَصُوَرَكُمْوَرَزَقَكُممِّنَٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِ ۚذَٰلِكُمُٱللَّهُرَبُّكُمْ ۖفَتَبَارَكَٱللَّهُرَبُّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbul-lahufatabārakarabbukuml-lahudhālikumul-ṭayibātiminawarazaqakumṣuwarakumfa-aḥsanawaṣawwarakumbināanwal-samāaqarāranl-arḍalakumujaʿalaalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whomadefor youthe eartha place of settlementand the skya canopyand He formed youand perfectedyour formsand provided youofthe good thingsThat(is) Allahyour LordThen blessed (is)Allah(the) Lord(of) the worlds
40:64
هُوَٱلْحَىُّلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَفَٱدْعُوهُمُخْلِصِينَلَهُٱلدِّينَ ۗٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbilillahil-ḥamdul-dīnalahumukh'liṣīnafa-id'ʿūhuhuwaillāilāhalāl-ḥayuhuwa
He(is) the Ever-Living(there is) nogodbutHeso call Him(being) sincereto Him(in) the religionAll praise (be)to Allah(the) Lord(of) the worlds
40:65
۞ قُلْإِنِّىنُهِيتُأَنْأَعْبُدَٱلَّذِينَتَدْعُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِلَمَّاجَآءَنِىَٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتُمِنرَّبِّىوَأُمِرْتُأَنْأُسْلِمَلِرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnalirabbius'limaanwa-umir'turabbīminl-bayinātujāaniyalammāl-lahidūnimintadʿūnaalladhīnaaʿbudaannuhītuinnīqul
SayIndeed, I[I] have been forbiddentoworshipthose whomyou callbesidesbesidesAllahwhenhave come to methe clear proofsfrommy Lordand I am commandedtosubmitto (the) Lord(of) the worlds
40:66
هُوَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَكُممِّنتُرَابٍۢثُمَّمِننُّطْفَةٍۢثُمَّمِنْعَلَقَةٍۢثُمَّيُخْرِجُكُمْطِفْلًۭاثُمَّلِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟أَشُدَّكُمْثُمَّلِتَكُونُوا۟شُيُوخًۭا ۚوَمِنكُممَّنيُتَوَفَّىٰمِنقَبْلُ ۖوَلِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟أَجَلًۭامُّسَمًّۭىوَلَعَلَّكُمْتَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūnawalaʿallakummusammanajalanwalitablughūqabluminyutawaffāmanwaminkumshuyūkhanlitakūnūthummaashuddakumlitablughūthummaṭif'lanyukh'rijukumthummaʿalaqatinminthummanuṭ'fatinminthummaturābinminkhalaqakumalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whocreated youfromdustthenfroma semen-dropthenfroma clinging substancethenHe brings you out(as) a childthenlets you reachyour maturitythenlets you becomeold and among you(is he) whodiesbefore before and lets you reacha termspecifiedand that you mayuse reason
40:67
هُوَٱلَّذِىيُحْىِۦوَيُمِيتُ ۖفَإِذَاقَضَىٰٓأَمْرًۭافَإِنَّمَايَقُولُلَهُۥكُنفَيَكُونُ
fayakūnukunlahuyaqūlufa-innamāamranqaḍāfa-idhāwayumītuyuḥ'yīalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whogives lifeand causes deathAnd whenHe decreesa matterthen onlyHe saysto itBeand it is
40:68
أَلَمْتَرَإِلَىٱلَّذِينَيُجَـٰدِلُونَفِىٓءَايَـٰتِٱللَّهِأَنَّىٰيُصْرَفُونَ
yuṣ'rafūnaannāl-lahiāyātifīyujādilūnaalladhīnailātaraalam
Do notyou see[to]those whodisputeconcerning(the) Signs(of) AllahHowthey are turned away
40:69
ٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِٱلْكِتَـٰبِوَبِمَآأَرْسَلْنَابِهِۦرُسُلَنَا ۖفَسَوْفَيَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnafasawfarusulanābihiarsalnāwabimābil-kitābikadhabūalladhīna
Those whodenythe Bookand with whatWe sentwith itOur Messengersbut soonthey will know
40:70
إِذِٱلْأَغْلَـٰلُفِىٓأَعْنَـٰقِهِمْوَٱلسَّلَـٰسِلُيُسْحَبُونَ
yus'ḥabūnawal-salāsiluaʿnāqihimfīl-aghlāluidhi
Whenthe iron collars(will be) aroundtheir necksand the chainsthey will be dragged
40:71
فِىٱلْحَمِيمِثُمَّفِىٱلنَّارِيُسْجَرُونَ
yus'jarūnal-nārifīthummal-ḥamīmifī
Inthe boiling watertheninthe Firethey will be burned
40:72
ثُمَّقِيلَلَهُمْأَيْنَمَاكُنتُمْتُشْرِكُونَ
tush'rikūnakuntummāaynalahumqīlathumma
Thenit will be saidto themWhere(is) that whichyou used toassociate
40:73
مِندُونِٱللَّهِ ۖقَالُوا۟ضَلُّوا۟عَنَّابَللَّمْنَكُننَّدْعُوا۟مِنقَبْلُشَيْـًۭٔا ۚكَذَٰلِكَيُضِلُّٱللَّهُٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīnal-lahuyuḍillukadhālikashayanqabluminnadʿūnakunlambalʿannāḍallūqālūl-lahidūnimin
Other thanOther thanAllahThey will sayThey have departedfrom usNayNotwe used to[we] callbeforebeforeanythingThusAllah lets go astrayAllah lets go astraythe disbelievers
40:74
ذَٰلِكُمبِمَاكُنتُمْتَفْرَحُونَفِىٱلْأَرْضِبِغَيْرِٱلْحَقِّوَبِمَاكُنتُمْتَمْرَحُونَ
tamraḥūnakuntumwabimāl-ḥaqibighayril-arḍifītafraḥūnakuntumbimādhālikum
That wasbecauseyou used torejoiceinthe earthwithoutrightand becauseyou used tobe insolent
40:75
ٱدْخُلُوٓا۟أَبْوَٰبَجَهَنَّمَخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَا ۖفَبِئْسَمَثْوَىٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ
l-mutakabirīnamathwāfabi'safīhākhālidīnajahannamaabwābaud'khulū
Enter(the) gates(of) Hell(to) abide foreverin itand wretched is(the) abode(of) the arrogant
40:76
فَٱصْبِرْإِنَّوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقٌّۭ ۚفَإِمَّانُرِيَنَّكَبَعْضَٱلَّذِىنَعِدُهُمْأَوْنَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَفَإِلَيْنَايُرْجَعُونَ
yur'jaʿūnafa-ilaynānatawaffayannakaawnaʿiduhumalladhībaʿḍanuriyannakafa-immāḥaqqunl-lahiwaʿdainnafa-iṣ'bir
So be patientindeed(the) Promise(of) Allah(is) trueAnd whetherWe show yousome(of) whatWe have promised themorWe cause you to diethen to Usthey will be returned
40:77
وَلَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَارُسُلًۭامِّنقَبْلِكَمِنْهُممَّنقَصَصْنَاعَلَيْكَوَمِنْهُممَّنلَّمْنَقْصُصْعَلَيْكَ ۗوَمَاكَانَلِرَسُولٍأَنيَأْتِىَبِـَٔايَةٍإِلَّابِإِذْنِٱللَّهِ ۚفَإِذَاجَآءَأَمْرُٱللَّهِقُضِىَبِٱلْحَقِّوَخَسِرَهُنَالِكَٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ
l-mub'ṭilūnahunālikawakhasirabil-ḥaqiquḍiyal-lahiamrujāafa-idhāl-lahibi-idh'niillābiāyatinyatiyaanlirasūlinkānawamāʿalaykanaqṣuṣlammanwamin'humʿalaykaqaṣaṣnāmanmin'humqablikaminrusulanarsalnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe have sentMessengersbefore youbefore youAmong them(are) who We have relatedto youand among them(are) who notWe have relatedto youAnd notisfor any Messengerthathe bringsa Signexceptby (the) permission(of) AllahSo whencomes(the) Command(of) Allahit will be decidedin truthand will losetherethe falsifiers
40:78
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىجَعَلَلَكُمُٱلْأَنْعَـٰمَلِتَرْكَبُوا۟مِنْهَاوَمِنْهَاتَأْكُلُونَ
takulūnawamin'hāmin'hālitarkabūl-anʿāmalakumujaʿalaalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whomadefor youthe cattlethat you may ridesome of themand some of themyou eat
40:79
وَلَكُمْفِيهَامَنَـٰفِعُوَلِتَبْلُغُوا۟عَلَيْهَاحَاجَةًۭفِىصُدُورِكُمْوَعَلَيْهَاوَعَلَىٱلْفُلْكِتُحْمَلُونَ
tuḥ'malūnal-ful'kiwaʿalāwaʿalayhāṣudūrikumfīḥājatanʿalayhāwalitablughūmanāfiʿufīhāwalakum
And for youin them(are) benefitsand that you may reachthrough thema need(that is) inyour breastsand upon themand uponthe shipsyou are carried
40:80
وَيُرِيكُمْءَايَـٰتِهِۦفَأَىَّءَايَـٰتِٱللَّهِتُنكِرُونَ
tunkirūnal-lahiāyātifa-ayyaāyātihiwayurīkum
And He shows youHis SignsThen which(of the) Signs(of) Allahwill you deny
40:81
أَفَلَمْيَسِيرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِفَيَنظُرُوا۟كَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۚكَانُوٓا۟أَكْثَرَمِنْهُمْوَأَشَدَّقُوَّةًۭوَءَاثَارًۭافِىٱلْأَرْضِفَمَآأَغْنَىٰعَنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟يَكْسِبُونَ
yaksibūnakānūmāʿanhumaghnāfamāl-arḍifīwaāthāranquwwatanwa-ashaddamin'humaktharakānūqablihimminalladhīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafayanẓurūl-arḍifīyasīrūafalam
Do they nottravelthroughthe landand seehowwas(the) end(of) those who(were) before them(were) before themThey weremore numerousthan themand mightier(in) strengthand impressionsinthe landbut notavailedthemwhatthey used toearn
40:82
فَلَمَّاجَآءَتْهُمْرُسُلُهُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِفَرِحُوا۟بِمَاعِندَهُممِّنَٱلْعِلْمِوَحَاقَبِهِممَّاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
yastahziūnabihikānūmābihimwaḥāqal-ʿil'miminaʿindahumbimāfariḥūbil-bayinātirusuluhumjāathumfalammā
Then whencame to themtheir Messengerswith clear proofsthey rejoicedin whatthey hadofthe knowledgeand envelopedthemwhatthey used to[at it]mock
40:83
فَلَمَّارَأَوْا۟بَأْسَنَاقَالُوٓا۟ءَامَنَّابِٱللَّهِوَحْدَهُۥوَكَفَرْنَابِمَاكُنَّابِهِۦمُشْرِكِينَ
mush'rikīnabihikunnābimāwakafarnāwaḥdahubil-lahiāmannāqālūbasanāra-awfalammā
So whenthey sawOur punishmentthey saidWe believein AllahAloneand we disbelievein whatwe used towith Himassociate
40:84
فَلَمْيَكُيَنفَعُهُمْإِيمَـٰنُهُمْلَمَّارَأَوْا۟بَأْسَنَا ۖسُنَّتَٱللَّهِٱلَّتِىقَدْخَلَتْفِىعِبَادِهِۦ ۖوَخَسِرَهُنَالِكَٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
l-kāfirūnahunālikawakhasiraʿibādihifīkhalatqadallatīl-lahisunnatabasanāra-awlammāīmānuhumyanfaʿuhumyakufalam
But did notBut did notbenefit themtheir faithwhenthey sawOur punishment(Such is the) Way(of) Allahwhich(has) indeedprecededamongHis slavesAnd are losttherethe disbelievers
40:85

Ha Meem
41:1
تَنزِيلٌۭمِّنَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِٱلرَّحِيمِ
l-raḥīmil-raḥmāniminatanzīlun
A revelationfromthe Most Graciousthe Most Merciful
41:2
كِتَـٰبٌۭفُصِّلَتْءَايَـٰتُهُۥقُرْءَانًاعَرَبِيًّۭالِّقَوْمٍۢيَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnaliqawminʿarabiyyanqur'ānanāyātuhufuṣṣilatkitābun
A Bookare detailedits Versesa Quran(in) Arabicfor a people(who) know
41:3
بَشِيرًۭاوَنَذِيرًۭافَأَعْرَضَأَكْثَرُهُمْفَهُمْلَايَسْمَعُونَ
yasmaʿūnalāfahumaktharuhumfa-aʿraḍawanadhīranbashīran
A giver of glad tidingsand a warnerbut turn awaymost of themso they(do) nothear
41:4
وَقَالُوا۟قُلُوبُنَافِىٓأَكِنَّةٍۢمِّمَّاتَدْعُونَآإِلَيْهِوَفِىٓءَاذَانِنَاوَقْرٌۭوَمِنۢبَيْنِنَاوَبَيْنِكَحِجَابٌۭفَٱعْمَلْإِنَّنَاعَـٰمِلُونَ
ʿāmilūnainnanāfa-iʿ'malḥijābunwabaynikabaynināwaminwaqrunādhānināwafīilayhitadʿūnāmimmāakinnatinfīqulūbunāwaqālū
And they sayOur hearts(are) incoveringsfrom whatyou call usto itand inour ears(is) deafnessand between usand between usand between you(is) a screenSo workindeed, we(are) working
41:5
قُلْإِنَّمَآأَنَا۠بَشَرٌۭمِّثْلُكُمْيُوحَىٰٓإِلَىَّأَنَّمَآإِلَـٰهُكُمْإِلَـٰهٌۭوَٰحِدٌۭفَٱسْتَقِيمُوٓا۟إِلَيْهِوَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ۗوَوَيْلٌۭلِّلْمُشْرِكِينَ
lil'mush'rikīnawawaylunwa-is'taghfirūhuilayhifa-is'taqīmūwāḥidunilāhunilāhukumannamāilayyayūḥāmith'lukumbasharunanāinnamāqul
SayOnlyI ama manlike youit is revealedto methatyour god(is) GodOneso take a Straight Pathto Himand ask His forgivenessAnd woeto the polytheists
41:6
ٱلَّذِينَلَايُؤْتُونَٱلزَّكَوٰةَوَهُمبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِهُمْكَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūnahumbil-ākhiratiwahuml-zakatayu'tūnalāalladhīna
Those who(do) notgivethe zakahand theyin the Hereafterthey(are) disbelievers
41:7
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِلَهُمْأَجْرٌغَيْرُمَمْنُونٍۢ
mamnūninghayruajrunlahuml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whobelieveand dorighteous deedsfor them(is) a rewardnever endingnever ending
41:8
۞ قُلْأَئِنَّكُمْلَتَكْفُرُونَبِٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلْأَرْضَفِىيَوْمَيْنِوَتَجْعَلُونَلَهُۥٓأَندَادًۭا ۚذَٰلِكَرَبُّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbudhālikaandādanlahuwatajʿalūnayawmaynifīl-arḍakhalaqabi-alladhīlatakfurūnaa-innakumqul
SayDo you indeed[surely] disbelievein the One Whocreatedthe earthintwo periodsand you set upwith HimrivalsThat(is the) Lord(of) the worlds
41:9
وَجَعَلَفِيهَارَوَٰسِىَمِنفَوْقِهَاوَبَـٰرَكَفِيهَاوَقَدَّرَفِيهَآأَقْوَٰتَهَافِىٓأَرْبَعَةِأَيَّامٍۢسَوَآءًۭلِّلسَّآئِلِينَ
lilssāilīnasawāanayyāminarbaʿatifīaqwātahāfīhāwaqaddarafīhāwabārakafawqihāminrawāsiyafīhāwajaʿala
And He placedthereinfirmly-set mountainsabove itabove itand He blessedthereinand determinedthereinits sustenanceinfourperiodsequalfor those who ask
41:10
ثُمَّٱسْتَوَىٰٓإِلَىٱلسَّمَآءِوَهِىَدُخَانٌۭفَقَالَلَهَاوَلِلْأَرْضِٱئْتِيَاطَوْعًاأَوْكَرْهًۭاقَالَتَآأَتَيْنَاطَآئِعِينَ
ṭāiʿīnaataynāqālatākarhanawṭawʿani'tiyāwalil'arḍilahāfaqāladukhānunwahiyal-samāiilāis'tawāthumma
ThenHe directed (Himself)towardsthe heavenwhile it (was)smokeand He saidto itand to the earthCome both of youwillinglyorunwillinglyThey both saidWe comewillingly
41:11
فَقَضَىٰهُنَّسَبْعَسَمَـٰوَاتٍۢفِىيَوْمَيْنِوَأَوْحَىٰفِىكُلِّسَمَآءٍأَمْرَهَا ۚوَزَيَّنَّاٱلسَّمَآءَٱلدُّنْيَابِمَصَـٰبِيحَوَحِفْظًۭا ۚذَٰلِكَتَقْدِيرُٱلْعَزِيزِٱلْعَلِيمِ
l-ʿalīmil-ʿazīzitaqdīrudhālikawaḥif'ẓanbimaṣābīḥal-dun'yāl-samāawazayyannāamrahāsamāinkullifīwa-awḥāyawmaynifīsamāwātinsabʿafaqaḍāhunna
Then He completed them(as) sevenheavensintwo periodsand He revealedineachheavenits affairAnd We adornedthe heaven[the world]with lampsand (to) guardThat(is the) Decree(of) the All-Mightythe All-Knower
41:12
فَإِنْأَعْرَضُوا۟فَقُلْأَنذَرْتُكُمْصَـٰعِقَةًۭمِّثْلَصَـٰعِقَةِعَادٍۢوَثَمُودَ
wathamūdaʿādinṣāʿiqatimith'laṣāʿiqatanandhartukumfaqulaʿraḍūfa-in
But ifthey turn awaythen sayI have warned you(of) a thunderboltlike(the) thunderbolt(of) Aadand Thamud
41:13
إِذْجَآءَتْهُمُٱلرُّسُلُمِنۢبَيْنِأَيْدِيهِمْوَمِنْخَلْفِهِمْأَلَّاتَعْبُدُوٓا۟إِلَّاٱللَّهَ ۖقَالُوا۟لَوْشَآءَرَبُّنَالَأَنزَلَمَلَـٰٓئِكَةًۭفَإِنَّابِمَآأُرْسِلْتُمبِهِۦكَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūnabihiur'sil'tumbimāfa-innāmalāikatanla-anzalarabbunāshāalawqālūl-lahaillātaʿbudūallākhalfihimwaminaydīhimbayniminl-rusulujāathumuidh
Whencame to themthe Messengersfrom before themfrom before themfrom before themand frombehind them(saying) "Do notworshipexceptAllahThey saidIf(had) willedour Lordsurely, He (would have) sent downAngelsSo indeed, wein whatyou have been sentwith(are) disbelievers
41:14
فَأَمَّاعَادٌۭفَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِبِغَيْرِٱلْحَقِّوَقَالُوا۟مَنْأَشَدُّمِنَّاقُوَّةً ۖأَوَلَمْيَرَوْا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَهُمْهُوَأَشَدُّمِنْهُمْقُوَّةًۭ ۖوَكَانُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَايَجْحَدُونَ
yajḥadūnabiāyātināwakānūquwwatanmin'humashadduhuwakhalaqahumalladhīl-lahaannayarawawalamquwwatanminnāashaddumanwaqālūl-ḥaqibighayril-arḍifīfa-is'takbarūʿādunfa-ammā
Then as forAadthey were arrogantinthe landwithout[the] rightand they saidWho(is) mightierthan us(in) strengthDo notthey seethatAllahthe One Whocreated themHe(is) Mightierthan them(in) strengthBut they used toin Our Signsdeny
41:15
فَأَرْسَلْنَاعَلَيْهِمْرِيحًۭاصَرْصَرًۭافِىٓأَيَّامٍۢنَّحِسَاتٍۢلِّنُذِيقَهُمْعَذَابَٱلْخِزْىِفِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَا ۖوَلَعَذَابُٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِأَخْزَىٰ ۖوَهُمْلَايُنصَرُونَ
yunṣarūnalāwahumakhzāl-ākhiratiwalaʿadhābul-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīl-khiz'yiʿadhābalinudhīqahumnaḥisātinayyāminfīṣarṣaranrīḥanʿalayhimfa-arsalnā
So We sentupon thema windfuriousin(the) days(of) misfortunethat We may make them taste(the) punishment(of) disgraceinthe life(of) the worldAnd surely, (the) punishment(of) the Hereafter(is) more disgracingand theywill not be helpedwill not be helped
41:16
وَأَمَّاثَمُودُفَهَدَيْنَـٰهُمْفَٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ٱلْعَمَىٰعَلَىٱلْهُدَىٰفَأَخَذَتْهُمْصَـٰعِقَةُٱلْعَذَابِٱلْهُونِبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَكْسِبُونَ
yaksibūnakānūbimāl-hūnil-ʿadhābiṣāʿiqatufa-akhadhathuml-hudāʿalāl-ʿamāfa-is'taḥabbūfahadaynāhumthamūduwa-ammā
And as forThamudWe guided thembut they preferred[the] blindnessoverthe guidanceso seized thema thunderbolt(of) the punishmenthumiliatingfor whatthey used toearn
41:17
وَنَجَّيْنَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَكَانُوا۟يَتَّقُونَ
yattaqūnawakānūāmanūalladhīnawanajjaynā
And We savedthose whobelievedand used tofear (Allah)
41:18
وَيَوْمَيُحْشَرُأَعْدَآءُٱللَّهِإِلَىٱلنَّارِفَهُمْيُوزَعُونَ
yūzaʿūnafahuml-nāriilāl-lahiaʿdāuyuḥ'sharuwayawma
And (the) Daywill be gathered(the) enemies(of) Allahtothe Firethen theywill be assembled in rows
41:19
حَتَّىٰٓإِذَامَاجَآءُوهَاشَهِدَعَلَيْهِمْسَمْعُهُمْوَأَبْصَـٰرُهُمْوَجُلُودُهُمبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūbimāwajulūduhumwa-abṣāruhumsamʿuhumʿalayhimshahidajāūhāmāidhāḥattā
Untilwhenwhenthey come to it(will) testifyagainst themtheir hearingand their sightand their skins(as) to whatthey used todo
41:20
وَقَالُوا۟لِجُلُودِهِمْلِمَشَهِدتُّمْعَلَيْنَا ۖقَالُوٓا۟أَنطَقَنَاٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىٓأَنطَقَكُلَّشَىْءٍۢوَهُوَخَلَقَكُمْأَوَّلَمَرَّةٍۢوَإِلَيْهِتُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūnawa-ilayhimarratinawwalakhalaqakumwahuwashayinkullaanṭaqaalladhīl-lahuanṭaqanāqālūʿalaynāshahidttumlimalijulūdihimwaqālū
And they will sayto their skinsWhy doyou testifyagainst usThey will sayAllah made us speakAllah made us speakthe One Whomakes speakeverythingand Hecreated you(the) firsttimeand to Himyou will be returned
41:21
وَمَاكُنتُمْتَسْتَتِرُونَأَنيَشْهَدَعَلَيْكُمْسَمْعُكُمْوَلَآأَبْصَـٰرُكُمْوَلَاجُلُودُكُمْوَلَـٰكِنظَنَنتُمْأَنَّٱللَّهَلَايَعْلَمُكَثِيرًۭامِّمَّاتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnamimmākathīranyaʿlamulāl-lahaannaẓanantumwalākinjulūdukumwalāabṣārukumwalāsamʿukumʿalaykumyashhadaantastatirūnakuntumwamā
And notyou werecovering yourselveslesttestifyagainst youyour hearingand notyour sightand notyour skinsbutyou assumedthatAllah(does) notknowmuchof whatyou do
41:22
وَذَٰلِكُمْظَنُّكُمُٱلَّذِىظَنَنتُمبِرَبِّكُمْأَرْدَىٰكُمْفَأَصْبَحْتُممِّنَٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
l-khāsirīnaminafa-aṣbaḥtumardākumbirabbikumẓanantumalladhīẓannukumuwadhālikum
And that(was) your assumptionwhichyou assumedabout your LordIt has ruined youand you have becomeofthe losers
41:23
فَإِنيَصْبِرُوا۟فَٱلنَّارُمَثْوًۭىلَّهُمْ ۖوَإِنيَسْتَعْتِبُوا۟فَمَاهُممِّنَٱلْمُعْتَبِينَ
l-muʿ'tabīnaminahumfamāyastaʿtibūwa-inlahummathwanfal-nāruyaṣbirūfa-in
Then ifthey endurethe Fire(is) an abodefor themand ifthey ask for favorthen notthey(will be) ofthose who receive favor
41:24
۞ وَقَيَّضْنَالَهُمْقُرَنَآءَفَزَيَّنُوا۟لَهُممَّابَيْنَأَيْدِيهِمْوَمَاخَلْفَهُمْوَحَقَّعَلَيْهِمُٱلْقَوْلُفِىٓأُمَمٍۢقَدْخَلَتْمِنقَبْلِهِممِّنَٱلْجِنِّوَٱلْإِنسِ ۖإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟خَـٰسِرِينَ
khāsirīnakānūinnahumwal-insil-jiniminaqablihimminkhalatqadumaminfīl-qawluʿalayhimuwaḥaqqakhalfahumwamāaydīhimbaynamālahumfazayyanūquranāalahumwaqayyaḍnā
And We have destinedfor themcompanions(who) made fair-seemingto themwhat(was) before them(was) before themand what(was) behind themand (is) justifiedagainst themthe Wordamongnations(that have) passed away(that have) passed awaybefore thembefore themofthe jinnand the menIndeed, theywerelosers
41:25
وَقَالَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لَاتَسْمَعُوا۟لِهَـٰذَاٱلْقُرْءَانِوَٱلْغَوْا۟فِيهِلَعَلَّكُمْتَغْلِبُونَ
taghlibūnalaʿallakumfīhiwal-ghawl-qur'ānilihādhātasmaʿūlākafarūalladhīnawaqāla
And saidthose whodisbelieve(Do) notlistento thisQuranand make noisethereinso that you mayovercome
41:26
فَلَنُذِيقَنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟عَذَابًۭاشَدِيدًۭاوَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْأَسْوَأَٱلَّذِىكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūalladhīaswa-awalanajziyannahumshadīdanʿadhābankafarūalladhīnafalanudhīqanna
But surely We will cause to tastethose whodisbelievea punishmentsevereand surely We will recompense them(the) worst(of) whatthey used todo
41:27
ذَٰلِكَجَزَآءُأَعْدَآءِٱللَّهِٱلنَّارُ ۖلَهُمْفِيهَادَارُٱلْخُلْدِ ۖجَزَآءًۢبِمَاكَانُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَايَجْحَدُونَ
yajḥadūnabiāyātinākānūbimājazāanl-khul'didārufīhālahuml-nārul-lahiaʿdāijazāudhālika
That(is the) recompense(of the) enemies(of) Allah the Firefor themtherein(is the) home(of) the eternity(as) recompensefor whatthey used toof Our Versesreject
41:28
وَقَالَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟رَبَّنَآأَرِنَاٱلَّذَيْنِأَضَلَّانَامِنَٱلْجِنِّوَٱلْإِنسِنَجْعَلْهُمَاتَحْتَأَقْدَامِنَالِيَكُونَامِنَٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ
l-asfalīnaminaliyakūnāaqdāminātaḥtanajʿalhumāwal-insil-jiniminaaḍallānāalladhayniarinārabbanākafarūalladhīnawaqāla
And (will) saythose whodisbelieveOur LordShow usthose whomisled usofthe jinnand the men(so) we may put themunderour feetthat they beofthe lowest
41:29
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَقَالُوا۟رَبُّنَاٱللَّهُثُمَّٱسْتَقَـٰمُوا۟تَتَنَزَّلُعَلَيْهِمُٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُأَلَّاتَخَافُوا۟وَلَاتَحْزَنُوا۟وَأَبْشِرُوا۟بِٱلْجَنَّةِٱلَّتِىكُنتُمْتُوعَدُونَ
tūʿadūnakuntumallatībil-janatiwa-abshirūtaḥzanūwalātakhāfūallāl-malāikatuʿalayhimutatanazzaluis'taqāmūthummal-lahurabbunāqālūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whosayOur Lord(is) Allahthenstand firm will descendon themthe Angels(Do) notfearand (do) notgrievebut receive the glad tidingsof Paradisewhichyou werepromised
41:30
نَحْنُأَوْلِيَآؤُكُمْفِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاوَفِىٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖوَلَكُمْفِيهَامَاتَشْتَهِىٓأَنفُسُكُمْوَلَكُمْفِيهَامَاتَدَّعُونَ
taddaʿūnamāfīhāwalakumanfusukumtashtahīmāfīhāwalakuml-ākhiratiwafīl-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīawliyāukumnaḥnu
We(are) your protectorsinthe life(of) the worldand inthe HereafterAnd for youthereinwhateverdesireyour soulsand for youthereinwhatyou ask
41:31
نُزُلًۭامِّنْغَفُورٍۢرَّحِيمٍۢ
raḥīminghafūrinminnuzulan
A hospitable giftfrom(the) Oft-Forgiving(the) Most Merciful
41:32
وَمَنْأَحْسَنُقَوْلًۭامِّمَّندَعَآإِلَىٱللَّهِوَعَمِلَصَـٰلِحًۭاوَقَالَإِنَّنِىمِنَٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
l-mus'limīnaminainnanīwaqālaṣāliḥanwaʿamilal-lahiilādaʿāmimmanqawlanaḥsanuwaman
And who(is) better(in) speechthan (one) whoinvitestoAllahand doesrighteous (deeds)and saysIndeed, I amofthose who submit
41:33
وَلَاتَسْتَوِىٱلْحَسَنَةُوَلَاٱلسَّيِّئَةُ ۚٱدْفَعْبِٱلَّتِىهِىَأَحْسَنُفَإِذَاٱلَّذِىبَيْنَكَوَبَيْنَهُۥعَدَٰوَةٌۭكَأَنَّهُۥوَلِىٌّحَمِيمٌۭ
ḥamīmunwaliyyunka-annahuʿadāwatunwabaynahubaynakaalladhīfa-idhāaḥsanuhiyabi-allatīid'faʿl-sayi-atuwalāl-ḥasanatutastawīwalā
And not(are) equalthe good (deed)andthe evil (deed)Repelby (that) which[it](is) betterthen beholdOne whobetween youand between him(was) enmity(will become) as if he(was) a friendintimate
41:34
وَمَايُلَقَّىٰهَآإِلَّاٱلَّذِينَصَبَرُوا۟وَمَايُلَقَّىٰهَآإِلَّاذُوحَظٍّعَظِيمٍۢ
ʿaẓīminḥaẓẓindhūillāyulaqqāhāwamāṣabarūalladhīnaillāyulaqqāhāwamā
And notit is grantedexcept(to) those who(are) patientand notit is grantedexcept(to the) owner(of) fortunegreat
41:35
وَإِمَّايَنزَغَنَّكَمِنَٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِنَزْغٌۭفَٱسْتَعِذْبِٱللَّهِ ۖإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-samīʿuhuwainnahubil-lahifa-is'taʿidhnazghunl-shayṭāniminayanzaghannakawa-immā
And ifwhisper comes to youfromthe Shaitaanan evil suggestionthen seek refugein AllahIndeed, He[He](is) the All-Hearerthe All-Knower
41:36
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِٱلَّيْلُوَٱلنَّهَارُوَٱلشَّمْسُوَٱلْقَمَرُ ۚلَاتَسْجُدُوا۟لِلشَّمْسِوَلَالِلْقَمَرِوَٱسْجُدُوا۟لِلَّهِٱلَّذِىخَلَقَهُنَّإِنكُنتُمْإِيَّاهُتَعْبُدُونَ
taʿbudūnaiyyāhukuntuminkhalaqahunnaalladhīlillahiwa-us'judūlil'qamariwalālilshamsitasjudūlāwal-qamaruwal-shamsuwal-nahārual-layluāyātihiwamin
And ofHis Signs(are) the nightand the dayand the sunand the moon(Do) notprostrateto the sunand notto the moonbut prostrateto Allahthe One Whocreated themifyouHim aloneworship
41:37
فَإِنِٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟فَٱلَّذِينَعِندَرَبِّكَيُسَبِّحُونَلَهُۥبِٱلَّيْلِوَٱلنَّهَارِوَهُمْلَايَسْـَٔمُونَ ۩
yasamūnalāwahumwal-nahāribi-al-laylilahuyusabbiḥūnarabbikaʿindafa-alladhīnais'takbarūfa-ini
But ifthey are arrogantthen those who(are) nearyour LordglorifyHimby nightand dayAnd they(do) nottire
41:38
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓأَنَّكَتَرَىٱلْأَرْضَخَـٰشِعَةًۭفَإِذَآأَنزَلْنَاعَلَيْهَاٱلْمَآءَٱهْتَزَّتْوَرَبَتْ ۚإِنَّٱلَّذِىٓأَحْيَاهَالَمُحْىِٱلْمَوْتَىٰٓ ۚإِنَّهُۥعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرٌ
qadīrunshayinkulliʿalāinnahul-mawtālamuḥ'yīaḥyāhāalladhīinnawarabatih'tazzatl-māaʿalayhāanzalnāfa-idhākhāshiʿatanl-arḍatarāannakaāyātihiwamin
And amongHis Signs(is) that youseethe earthbarrenbut whenWe send downupon itwaterit is stirred (to life)and growsIndeedthe One Whogives it life(is) surely the Giver of life(to) the deadIndeed, He(is) oneverythingAll-Powerful
41:39
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَيُلْحِدُونَفِىٓءَايَـٰتِنَالَايَخْفَوْنَعَلَيْنَآ ۗأَفَمَنيُلْقَىٰفِىٱلنَّارِخَيْرٌأَممَّنيَأْتِىٓءَامِنًۭايَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚٱعْمَلُوا۟مَاشِئْتُمْ ۖإِنَّهُۥبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَبَصِيرٌ
baṣīruntaʿmalūnabimāinnahushi'tummāiʿ'malūl-qiyāmatiyawmaāminanyatīmanamkhayrunl-nārifīyul'qāafamanʿalaynāyakhfawnalāāyātināfīyul'ḥidūnaalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whodistort[in]Our Verses(are) nothiddenfrom UsSo, is (he) whois castinthe Firebetteror(he) whocomessecure(on the) Day(of) ResurrectionDowhatyou willIndeed, Heof whatyou do(is) All-Seer
41:40
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟بِٱلذِّكْرِلَمَّاجَآءَهُمْ ۖوَإِنَّهُۥلَكِتَـٰبٌعَزِيزٌۭ
ʿazīzunlakitābunwa-innahujāahumlammābil-dhik'rikafarūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whodisbelievein the Reminderwhenit comes to themAnd indeed, it(is) surely a Bookmighty
41:41
لَّايَأْتِيهِٱلْبَـٰطِلُمِنۢبَيْنِيَدَيْهِوَلَامِنْخَلْفِهِۦ ۖتَنزِيلٌۭمِّنْحَكِيمٍحَمِيدٍۢ
ḥamīdinḥakīminmintanzīlunkhalfihiminwalāyadayhibayniminl-bāṭiluyatīhilā
Notcomes to itthe falsehoodfrombefore itbefore itand notfrombehind itA Revelationfrom(the) All-Wise(the) Praiseworthy
41:42
مَّايُقَالُلَكَإِلَّامَاقَدْقِيلَلِلرُّسُلِمِنقَبْلِكَ ۚإِنَّرَبَّكَلَذُومَغْفِرَةٍۢوَذُوعِقَابٍأَلِيمٍۢ
alīminʿiqābinwadhūmaghfiratinladhūrabbakainnaqablikaminlilrrusuliqīlaqadmāillālakayuqālumā
Notis saidto youexceptwhatwas saidwas saidto the Messengersbefore youbefore youIndeedyour Lord(is) Possessor(of) forgivenessand Possessor(of) penaltypainful
41:43
وَلَوْجَعَلْنَـٰهُقُرْءَانًاأَعْجَمِيًّۭالَّقَالُوا۟لَوْلَافُصِّلَتْءَايَـٰتُهُۥٓ ۖءَا۬عْجَمِىٌّۭوَعَرَبِىٌّۭ ۗقُلْهُوَلِلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟هُدًۭىوَشِفَآءٌۭ ۖوَٱلَّذِينَلَايُؤْمِنُونَفِىٓءَاذَانِهِمْوَقْرٌۭوَهُوَعَلَيْهِمْعَمًى ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَيُنَادَوْنَمِنمَّكَانٍۭبَعِيدٍۢ
baʿīdinmakāninminyunādawnaulāikaʿamanʿalayhimwahuwawaqrunādhānihimfīyu'minūnalāwa-alladhīnawashifāonhudanāmanūlilladhīnahuwaqulwaʿarabiyyunāʿ'jamiyyunāyātuhufuṣṣilatlawlālaqālūaʿjamiyyanqur'ānanjaʿalnāhuwalaw
And ifWe (had) made ita Quran(in) a foreign (language)they (would have) saidWhy notare explained in detailits verses(Is it) a foreign (language)and an ArabSayIt (is)for those whobelievea guidanceand a healingAnd those who(do) notbelieveintheir ears(is) deafnessand it(is) for themblindnessThoseare being calledfroma placefar
41:44
وَلَقَدْءَاتَيْنَامُوسَىٱلْكِتَـٰبَفَٱخْتُلِفَفِيهِ ۗوَلَوْلَاكَلِمَةٌۭسَبَقَتْمِنرَّبِّكَلَقُضِىَبَيْنَهُمْ ۚوَإِنَّهُمْلَفِىشَكٍّۢمِّنْهُمُرِيبٍۢ
murībinmin'hushakkinlafīwa-innahumbaynahumlaquḍiyarabbikaminsabaqatkalimatunwalawlāfīhifa-ukh'tulifal-kitābamūsāātaynāwalaqad
And certainlyWe gaveMusathe Bookbut disputes arosethereinAnd had it not been(for) a word(that) precededfromyour Lordsurely, would have been settledbetween themBut indeed, theysurely (are) indoubtabout itdisquieting
41:45
مَّنْعَمِلَصَـٰلِحًۭافَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖوَمَنْأَسَآءَفَعَلَيْهَا ۗوَمَارَبُّكَبِظَلَّـٰمٍۢلِّلْعَبِيدِ
lil'ʿabīdibiẓallāminrabbukawamāfaʿalayhāasāawamanfalinafsihiṣāliḥanʿamilaman
Whoeverdoesrighteous deedsthen it is for his souland whoeverdoes evilthen it is against itAnd not(is) your Lordunjustto His slaves
41:46
