Basmala
۞ إِلَيْهِيُرَدُّعِلْمُٱلسَّاعَةِ ۚوَمَاتَخْرُجُمِنثَمَرَٰتٍۢمِّنْأَكْمَامِهَاوَمَاتَحْمِلُمِنْأُنثَىٰوَلَاتَضَعُإِلَّابِعِلْمِهِۦ ۚوَيَوْمَيُنَادِيهِمْأَيْنَشُرَكَآءِىقَالُوٓا۟ءَاذَنَّـٰكَمَامِنَّامِنشَهِيدٍۢ
shahīdinminminnāmāādhannākaqālūshurakāīaynayunādīhimwayawmabiʿil'mihiillātaḍaʿuwalāunthāmintaḥmiluwamāakmāmihāminthamarātinmintakhrujuwamāl-sāʿatiʿil'muyuradduilayhi
To Himis referred(the) knowledge(of) the HourAnd notcomes outanyfruitsfromtheir coveringsand notbearsanyfemaleand notgives birthexceptwith His knowledgeAnd (the) DayHe will call themWhere (are)My partnersThey will sayWe announce (to) Younotamong usanywitness
41:47
وَضَلَّعَنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟يَدْعُونَمِنقَبْلُ ۖوَظَنُّوا۟مَالَهُممِّنمَّحِيصٍۢ
maḥīṣinminlahummāwaẓannūqabluminyadʿūnakānūmāʿanhumwaḍalla
And lostfrom themwhatthey wereinvokingbeforebeforeand they (will) be certain(that) notfor themanyplace of escape
41:48
لَّايَسْـَٔمُٱلْإِنسَـٰنُمِندُعَآءِٱلْخَيْرِوَإِنمَّسَّهُٱلشَّرُّفَيَـُٔوسٌۭقَنُوطٌۭ
qanūṭunfayaūsunl-sharumassahuwa-inl-khayriduʿāiminl-insānuyasamulā
(Does) notget tiredmanofpraying(for) the goodbut iftouches himthe evilthen he gives up hope(and) despairs
41:49
وَلَئِنْأَذَقْنَـٰهُرَحْمَةًۭمِّنَّامِنۢبَعْدِضَرَّآءَمَسَّتْهُلَيَقُولَنَّهَـٰذَالِىوَمَآأَظُنُّٱلسَّاعَةَقَآئِمَةًۭوَلَئِنرُّجِعْتُإِلَىٰرَبِّىٓإِنَّلِىعِندَهُۥلَلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚفَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟بِمَاعَمِلُوا۟وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُممِّنْعَذَابٍغَلِيظٍۢ
ghalīẓinʿadhābinminwalanudhīqannahumʿamilūbimākafarūalladhīnafalanunabbi-annalalḥus'nāʿindahulīinnarabbīilārujiʿ'tuwala-inqāimatanl-sāʿataaẓunnuwamālīhādhālayaqūlannamassathuḍarrāabaʿdiminminnāraḥmatanadhaqnāhuwala-in
And verily, ifWe let him tastemercyfrom Usafterafteran adversity(has) touched himhe will surely sayThis (is)(due) to meand notI thinkthe Hour(will be) establishedand ifI am returnedtomy Lordindeedfor mewith Him(will be) the bestBut We will surely informthose whodisbelievedabout whatthey didand We will surely make them tasteofa punishmentsevere
41:50
وَإِذَآأَنْعَمْنَاعَلَىٱلْإِنسَـٰنِأَعْرَضَوَنَـَٔابِجَانِبِهِۦوَإِذَامَسَّهُٱلشَّرُّفَذُودُعَآءٍعَرِيضٍۢ
ʿarīḍinduʿāinfadhūl-sharumassahuwa-idhābijānibihiwanaāaʿraḍal-insāniʿalāanʿamnāwa-idhā
And whenWe bestow favoruponmanhe turns away and distances himselfand distances himselfbut whentouches himthe evilthen (he is) full(of) supplicationlengthy
41:51
قُلْأَرَءَيْتُمْإِنكَانَمِنْعِندِٱللَّهِثُمَّكَفَرْتُمبِهِۦمَنْأَضَلُّمِمَّنْهُوَفِىشِقَاقٍۭبَعِيدٍۢ
baʿīdinshiqāqinfīhuwamimmanaḍallumanbihikafartumthummal-lahiʿindiminkānainara-aytumqul
SayYou see ifit isfromfromAllahthenyou disbelievein itwho(is) more astraythan (one) who he(is) inoppositionfar
41:52
سَنُرِيهِمْءَايَـٰتِنَافِىٱلْـَٔافَاقِوَفِىٓأَنفُسِهِمْحَتَّىٰيَتَبَيَّنَلَهُمْأَنَّهُٱلْحَقُّ ۗأَوَلَمْيَكْفِبِرَبِّكَأَنَّهُۥعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢشَهِيدٌ
shahīdunshayinkulliʿalāannahubirabbikayakfiawalaml-ḥaquannahulahumyatabayyanaḥattāanfusihimwafīl-āfāqifīāyātināsanurīhim
Soon We will show themOur Signsinthe horizonsand inthemselvesuntilbecomes clearto themthat it(is) the truthIs (it) notsufficientconcerning your Lordthat He(is) overallthingsa Witness
41:53
أَلَآإِنَّهُمْفِىمِرْيَةٍۢمِّنلِّقَآءِرَبِّهِمْ ۗأَلَآإِنَّهُۥبِكُلِّشَىْءٍۢمُّحِيطٌۢ
muḥīṭunshayinbikulliinnahualārabbihimliqāiminmir'yatinfīinnahumalā
Unquestionablythey(are) indoubtabout(the) meeting(with) their LordUnquestionablyindeed, He(is) of allthingsencompassing
41:54

عٓسٓقٓ

Ayn Seen Qaaf
42:2
كَذَٰلِكَيُوحِىٓإِلَيْكَوَإِلَىٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِكَٱللَّهُٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿazīzul-lahuqablikaminalladhīnawa-ilāilaykayūḥīkadhālika
Thusrevealsto youand tothosebefore you before you Allahthe All-Mightythe All-Wise
42:3
لَهُۥمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۖوَهُوَٱلْعَلِىُّٱلْعَظِيمُ
l-ʿaẓīmul-ʿaliyuwahuwal-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmālahu
To Him(belong) whatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earthand He(is) the Most Highthe Most Great
42:4
تَكَادُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُيَتَفَطَّرْنَمِنفَوْقِهِنَّ ۚوَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُيُسَبِّحُونَبِحَمْدِرَبِّهِمْوَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَلِمَنفِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۗأَلَآإِنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلْغَفُورُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-ghafūruhuwal-lahainnaalāl-arḍifīlimanwayastaghfirūnarabbihimbiḥamdiyusabbiḥūnawal-malāikatufawqihinnaminyatafaṭṭarnal-samāwātutakādu
Almostthe heavensbreak upfromabove themand the Angelsglorify(the) praise(of) their Lordand ask for forgivenessfor thoseonthe earthUnquestionablyindeedAllahHe(is) the Oft-Forgivingthe Most Merciful
42:5
وَٱلَّذِينَٱتَّخَذُوا۟مِندُونِهِۦٓأَوْلِيَآءَٱللَّهُحَفِيظٌعَلَيْهِمْوَمَآأَنتَعَلَيْهِمبِوَكِيلٍۢ
biwakīlinʿalayhimantawamāʿalayhimḥafīẓunl-lahuawliyāadūnihiminittakhadhūwa-alladhīna
And those whotakebesidesbesidesprotectorsAllah(is) a Guardianover themand notyou(are) over thema manager
42:6
وَكَذَٰلِكَأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَيْكَقُرْءَانًاعَرَبِيًّۭالِّتُنذِرَأُمَّٱلْقُرَىٰوَمَنْحَوْلَهَاوَتُنذِرَيَوْمَٱلْجَمْعِلَارَيْبَفِيهِ ۚفَرِيقٌۭفِىٱلْجَنَّةِوَفَرِيقٌۭفِىٱلسَّعِيرِ
l-saʿīrifīwafarīqunl-janatifīfarīqunfīhiraybalāl-jamʿiyawmawatundhiraḥawlahāwamanl-qurāummalitundhiraʿarabiyyanqur'ānanilaykaawḥaynāwakadhālika
And thusWe have revealedto youa Quran(in) Arabicthat you may warn(the) mother(of) the townsand whoever(is) around itand warn(of the) Day(of) Assembly(there is) nodoubtin itA party(will be) inParadiseand a partyinthe Blazing Fire
42:7
وَلَوْشَآءَٱللَّهُلَجَعَلَهُمْأُمَّةًۭوَٰحِدَةًۭوَلَـٰكِنيُدْخِلُمَنيَشَآءُفِىرَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚوَٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَمَالَهُممِّنوَلِىٍّۢوَلَانَصِيرٍ
naṣīrinwalāwaliyyinminlahummāwal-ẓālimūnaraḥmatihifīyashāumanyud'khiluwalākinwāḥidatanummatanlajaʿalahuml-lahushāawalaw
And ifAllah willedAllah willedHe could have made thema communityonebutHe admitswhomHe willsin (to)His MercyAnd the wrongdoersnotfor themanyprotectorand notany helper
42:8
أَمِٱتَّخَذُوا۟مِندُونِهِۦٓأَوْلِيَآءَ ۖفَٱللَّهُهُوَٱلْوَلِىُّوَهُوَيُحْىِٱلْمَوْتَىٰوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrunshayinkulliʿalāwahuwal-mawtāyuḥ'yīwahuwal-waliyuhuwafal-lahuawliyāadūnihiminittakhadhūami
Orhave they takenbesides Himbesides HimprotectorsBut Allah He(is) the Protectorand Hegives life(to) the deadAnd He(is) oneverythingAll-Powerful
42:9
وَمَاٱخْتَلَفْتُمْفِيهِمِنشَىْءٍۢفَحُكْمُهُۥٓإِلَىٱللَّهِ ۚذَٰلِكُمُٱللَّهُرَبِّىعَلَيْهِتَوَكَّلْتُوَإِلَيْهِأُنِيبُ
unībuwa-ilayhitawakkaltuʿalayhirabbīl-lahudhālikumul-lahiilāfaḥuk'muhushayinminfīhiikh'talaftumwamā
And whateveryou differin itofa thingthen its ruling(is) toAllahThat(is) Allahmy Lordupon HimI put my trustand to HimI turn
42:10
فَاطِرُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚجَعَلَلَكُممِّنْأَنفُسِكُمْأَزْوَٰجًۭاوَمِنَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِأَزْوَٰجًۭا ۖيَذْرَؤُكُمْفِيهِ ۚلَيْسَكَمِثْلِهِۦشَىْءٌۭ ۖوَهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْبَصِيرُ
l-baṣīrul-samīʿuwahuwashayonkamith'lihilaysafīhiyadhra-ukumazwājanl-anʿāmiwaminaazwājananfusikumminlakumjaʿalawal-arḍil-samāwātifāṭiru
(The) Creator(of) the heavensand the earthHe madefor youfromyourselvesmatesand amongthe cattlematesHe multiplies youthereby(There) is notlike Himanythingand He(is) the All-Hearerthe All-Seer
42:11
لَهُۥمَقَالِيدُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖيَبْسُطُٱلرِّزْقَلِمَنيَشَآءُوَيَقْدِرُ ۚإِنَّهُۥبِكُلِّشَىْءٍعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunshayinbikulliinnahuwayaqdiruyashāulimanl-riz'qayabsuṭuwal-arḍil-samāwātimaqālīdulahu
To Him (belongs)(the) keys(of) the heavensand the earthHe extendsthe provisionfor whomHe willsand restrictsIndeed, Heof everything(is) All-Knower
42:12
۞ شَرَعَلَكُممِّنَٱلدِّينِمَاوَصَّىٰبِهِۦنُوحًۭاوَٱلَّذِىٓأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَيْكَوَمَاوَصَّيْنَابِهِۦٓإِبْرَٰهِيمَوَمُوسَىٰوَعِيسَىٰٓ ۖأَنْأَقِيمُوا۟ٱلدِّينَوَلَاتَتَفَرَّقُوا۟فِيهِ ۚكَبُرَعَلَىٱلْمُشْرِكِينَمَاتَدْعُوهُمْإِلَيْهِ ۚٱللَّهُيَجْتَبِىٓإِلَيْهِمَنيَشَآءُوَيَهْدِىٓإِلَيْهِمَنيُنِيبُ
yunībumanilayhiwayahdīyashāumanilayhiyajtabīl-lahuilayhitadʿūhummāl-mush'rikīnaʿalākaburafīhitatafarraqūwalāl-dīnaaqīmūanwaʿīsāwamūsāib'rāhīmabihiwaṣṣaynāwamāilaykaawḥaynāwa-alladhīnūḥanbihiwaṣṣāmāl-dīniminalakumsharaʿa
He has ordainedfor youofthe religionwhatHe enjoineduponNuhand that whichWe have revealedto youand whatWe enjoineduponIbrahimand Musaand IsaToestablishthe religionand notbe dividedthereinIs difficultonthe polytheistswhatyou call themto itAllahchoosesfor HimselfwhomHe willsand guidesto Himselfwhoeverturns
42:13
وَمَاتَفَرَّقُوٓا۟إِلَّامِنۢبَعْدِمَاجَآءَهُمُٱلْعِلْمُبَغْيًۢابَيْنَهُمْ ۚوَلَوْلَاكَلِمَةٌۭسَبَقَتْمِنرَّبِّكَإِلَىٰٓأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّۭىلَّقُضِىَبَيْنَهُمْ ۚوَإِنَّٱلَّذِينَأُورِثُوا۟ٱلْكِتَـٰبَمِنۢبَعْدِهِمْلَفِىشَكٍّۢمِّنْهُمُرِيبٍۢ
murībinmin'hushakkinlafībaʿdihimminl-kitābaūrithūalladhīnawa-innabaynahumlaquḍiyamusammanajalinilārabbikaminsabaqatkalimatunwalawlābaynahumbaghyanl-ʿil'mujāahumumābaʿdiminillātafarraqūwamā
And notthey became divideduntilafterafter[what]came to themthe knowledge(out of) rivalryamong themAnd if not(for) a word(that) precededfromyour Lordfora termspecifiedsurely, it (would have) been settledbetween themAnd indeedthose whowere made to inheritthe Bookafter themafter them(are) surely indoubtconcerning it disquieting
42:14
فَلِذَٰلِكَفَٱدْعُ ۖوَٱسْتَقِمْكَمَآأُمِرْتَ ۖوَلَاتَتَّبِعْأَهْوَآءَهُمْ ۖوَقُلْءَامَنتُبِمَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُمِنكِتَـٰبٍۢ ۖوَأُمِرْتُلِأَعْدِلَبَيْنَكُمُ ۖٱللَّهُرَبُّنَاوَرَبُّكُمْ ۖلَنَآأَعْمَـٰلُنَاوَلَكُمْأَعْمَـٰلُكُمْ ۖلَاحُجَّةَبَيْنَنَاوَبَيْنَكُمُ ۖٱللَّهُيَجْمَعُبَيْنَنَا ۖوَإِلَيْهِٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīruwa-ilayhibaynanāyajmaʿul-lahuwabaynakumubaynanāḥujjatalāaʿmālukumwalakumaʿmālunālanāwarabbukumrabbunāl-lahubaynakumuli-aʿdilawa-umir'tukitābinminl-lahuanzalabimāāmantuwaqulahwāahumtattabiʿwalāumir'takamāwa-is'taqimfa-ud'ʿufalidhālika
So to thatthen inviteand stand firmasyou are commandedand (do) notfollowtheir desiresbut sayI believein whatAllah has sent downAllah has sent downof(the) Bookand I am commandedthat I do justicebetween youAllah(is) our Lordand your LordFor usour deedsand for youyour deeds(There is) noargumentbetween usand between youAllahwill assemble[between] usand to Him(is) the final return
42:15
وَٱلَّذِينَيُحَآجُّونَفِىٱللَّهِمِنۢبَعْدِمَاٱسْتُجِيبَلَهُۥحُجَّتُهُمْدَاحِضَةٌعِندَرَبِّهِمْوَعَلَيْهِمْغَضَبٌۭوَلَهُمْعَذَابٌۭشَدِيدٌ
shadīdunʿadhābunwalahumghaḍabunwaʿalayhimrabbihimʿindadāḥiḍatunḥujjatuhumlahuus'tujībamābaʿdiminl-lahifīyuḥājjūnawa-alladhīna
And those whoargueconcerningAllahafterafter[what]response has been made to Himresponse has been made to Himtheir argument(is) invalidwiththeir Lordand upon them(is) wrathand for them(is) a punishmentsevere
42:16
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىٓأَنزَلَٱلْكِتَـٰبَبِٱلْحَقِّوَٱلْمِيزَانَ ۗوَمَايُدْرِيكَلَعَلَّٱلسَّاعَةَقَرِيبٌۭ
qarībunl-sāʿatalaʿallayud'rīkawamāwal-mīzānabil-ḥaqil-kitābaanzalaalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Who(has) sent downthe Bookin truthand the BalanceAnd whatwill make you knowPerhapsthe Hour(is) near
42:17
يَسْتَعْجِلُبِهَاٱلَّذِينَلَايُؤْمِنُونَبِهَا ۖوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟مُشْفِقُونَمِنْهَاوَيَعْلَمُونَأَنَّهَاٱلْحَقُّ ۗأَلَآإِنَّٱلَّذِينَيُمَارُونَفِىٱلسَّاعَةِلَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۭبَعِيدٍ
baʿīdinḍalālinlafīl-sāʿatifīyumārūnaalladhīnainnaalāl-ḥaquannahāwayaʿlamūnamin'hāmush'fiqūnaāmanūwa-alladhīnabihāyu'minūnalāalladhīnabihāyastaʿjilu
Seek to hasten[of] itthose who(do) notbelievein itand those whobelieve(are) fearfulof itand knowthat it(is) the truthUnquestionablyindeedthose whodisputeconcerningthe Hour(are) certainly inerrorfar
42:18
ٱللَّهُلَطِيفٌۢبِعِبَادِهِۦيَرْزُقُمَنيَشَآءُ ۖوَهُوَٱلْقَوِىُّٱلْعَزِيزُ
l-ʿazīzul-qawiyuwahuwayashāumanyarzuqubiʿibādihilaṭīfunal-lahu
Allah(is) Subtlewith His slavesHe gives provision(to) whomHe willsAnd He(is) the All-Strongthe All-Mighty
42:19
مَنكَانَيُرِيدُحَرْثَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِنَزِدْلَهُۥفِىحَرْثِهِۦ ۖوَمَنكَانَيُرِيدُحَرْثَٱلدُّنْيَانُؤْتِهِۦمِنْهَاوَمَالَهُۥفِىٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِمِننَّصِيبٍ
naṣībinminl-ākhiratifīlahuwamāmin'hānu'tihil-dun'yāḥarthayurīdukānawamanḥarthihifīlahunazidl-ākhiratiḥarthayurīdukānaman
Whoeverisdesiring(the) harvest(of) the Hereafter We increasefor himinhis harvestAnd whoeverisdesiring(the) harvest(of) the worldWe give himof itbut notfor himinthe Hereafteranyshare
42:20
أَمْلَهُمْشُرَكَـٰٓؤُا۟شَرَعُوا۟لَهُممِّنَٱلدِّينِمَالَمْيَأْذَنۢبِهِٱللَّهُ ۚوَلَوْلَاكَلِمَةُٱلْفَصْلِلَقُضِىَبَيْنَهُمْ ۗوَإِنَّٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَلَهُمْعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌۭ
alīmunʿadhābunlahuml-ẓālimīnawa-innabaynahumlaquḍiyal-faṣlikalimatuwalawlāl-lahubihiyadhanlammāl-dīniminalahumsharaʿūshurakāulahumam
Orfor them(are) partnerswho have ordainedfor themofthe religionwhatnotAllah has given permission of itAllah has given permission of itAllah has given permission of itAnd if not(for) a worddecisivesurely, it (would have) been judgedbetween themAnd indeedthe wrongdoersfor them(is a) punishmentpainful
42:21
تَرَىٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَمُشْفِقِينَمِمَّاكَسَبُوا۟وَهُوَوَاقِعٌۢبِهِمْ ۗوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِفِىرَوْضَاتِٱلْجَنَّاتِ ۖلَهُممَّايَشَآءُونَعِندَرَبِّهِمْ ۚذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلْفَضْلُٱلْكَبِيرُ
l-kabīrul-faḍluhuwadhālikarabbihimʿindayashāūnamālahuml-janātirawḍātifīl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūwa-alladhīnabihimwāqiʿunwahuwakasabūmimmāmush'fiqīnal-ẓālimīnatarā
You will seethe wrongdoersfearfulof whatthey earnedand it(will) befall[on] themAnd those whobelieveand dorighteous deeds(will be) inflowering meadows(of) the Gardensfor them(is) whateverthey wishwiththeir LordThat it(is) the Bountythe Great
42:22
ذَٰلِكَٱلَّذِىيُبَشِّرُٱللَّهُعِبَادَهُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ ۗقُللَّآأَسْـَٔلُكُمْعَلَيْهِأَجْرًاإِلَّاٱلْمَوَدَّةَفِىٱلْقُرْبَىٰ ۗوَمَنيَقْتَرِفْحَسَنَةًۭنَّزِدْلَهُۥفِيهَاحُسْنًا ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَغَفُورٌۭشَكُورٌ
shakūrunghafūrunl-lahainnaḥus'nanfīhālahunazidḥasanatanyaqtarifwamanl-qur'bāfīl-mawadataillāajranʿalayhiasalukumlāqull-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnaʿibādahul-lahuyubashirualladhīdhālika
That(is of) whichAllah gives glad tidingsAllah gives glad tidings(to) His slaves those whobelieveand dorighteous deedsSayNotI ask youfor itany paymentexceptthe loveamongthe relativesAnd whoeverearnsany goodWe increasefor himthereingoodIndeedAllah(is) Oft-ForgivingAll-Appreciative
42:23
أَمْيَقُولُونَٱفْتَرَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِكَذِبًۭا ۖفَإِنيَشَإِٱللَّهُيَخْتِمْعَلَىٰقَلْبِكَ ۗوَيَمْحُٱللَّهُٱلْبَـٰطِلَوَيُحِقُّٱلْحَقَّبِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۚإِنَّهُۥعَلِيمٌۢبِذَاتِٱلصُّدُورِ
l-ṣudūribidhātiʿalīmuninnahubikalimātihil-ḥaqawayuḥiqqul-bāṭilal-lahuwayamḥuqalbikaʿalāyakhtiml-lahuyasha-ifa-inkadhibanl-lahiʿalāif'tarāyaqūlūnaam
Or(do) they sayHe has inventedaboutAllaha lieBut ifAllah willedAllah willedHe would seal[over]your heartAnd Allah eliminatesAnd Allah eliminatesthe falsehoodand establishesthe truthby His WordsIndeed, He(is) All-Knowingof what(is in) the breasts
42:24
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىيَقْبَلُٱلتَّوْبَةَعَنْعِبَادِهِۦوَيَعْفُوا۟عَنِٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِوَيَعْلَمُمَاتَفْعَلُونَ
tafʿalūnamāwayaʿlamul-sayiātiʿaniwayaʿfūʿibādihiʿanl-tawbatayaqbalualladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whoacceptsthe repentanceofHis slavesand pardons[of]the eviland He knowswhatyou do
42:25
وَيَسْتَجِيبُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِوَيَزِيدُهُممِّنفَضْلِهِۦ ۚوَٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَلَهُمْعَذَابٌۭشَدِيدٌۭ
shadīdunʿadhābunlahumwal-kāfirūnafaḍlihiminwayazīduhuml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnawayastajību
And He answersthose whobelieveand dorighteous deedsand increases (for) themfromHis BountyAnd the disbelievers for them(will be) a punishmentsevere
42:26
۞ وَلَوْبَسَطَٱللَّهُٱلرِّزْقَلِعِبَادِهِۦلَبَغَوْا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِوَلَـٰكِنيُنَزِّلُبِقَدَرٍۢمَّايَشَآءُ ۚإِنَّهُۥبِعِبَادِهِۦخَبِيرٌۢبَصِيرٌۭ
baṣīrunkhabīrunbiʿibādihiinnahuyashāumābiqadarinyunazziluwalākinl-arḍifīlabaghawliʿibādihil-riz'qal-lahubasaṭawalaw
And ifAllah extendsAllah extendsthe provisionfor His slavessurely they would rebelinthe earthbutHe sends downin (due) measurewhatHe willsIndeed, Heof His slaves(is) All-AwareAll-Seer
42:27
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىيُنَزِّلُٱلْغَيْثَمِنۢبَعْدِمَاقَنَطُوا۟وَيَنشُرُرَحْمَتَهُۥ ۚوَهُوَٱلْوَلِىُّٱلْحَمِيدُ
l-ḥamīdul-waliyuwahuwaraḥmatahuwayanshuruqanaṭūmābaʿdiminl-ghaythayunazzilualladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whosends downthe rainafterafter[what]they have despairedand spreadsHis mercyAnd He(is) the Protectorthe Praiseworthy
42:28
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦخَلْقُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِوَمَابَثَّفِيهِمَامِندَآبَّةٍۢ ۚوَهُوَعَلَىٰجَمْعِهِمْإِذَايَشَآءُقَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrunyashāuidhājamʿihimʿalāwahuwadābbatinminfīhimābathawamāwal-arḍil-samāwātikhalquāyātihiwamin
And amongHis Signs(is the) creation(of) the heavensand the earthand whateverHe has dispersedin both of themof(the) creaturesAnd He(is) overtheir gatheringwhenHe willsAll-Powerful
42:29
وَمَآأَصَـٰبَكُممِّنمُّصِيبَةٍۢفَبِمَاكَسَبَتْأَيْدِيكُمْوَيَعْفُوا۟عَنكَثِيرٍۢ
kathīrinʿanwayaʿfūaydīkumkasabatfabimāmuṣībatinminaṣābakumwamā
And whateverbefalls youof(the) misfortune(is because) of whathave earnedyour handsBut He pardons[from]much
42:30
وَمَآأَنتُمبِمُعْجِزِينَفِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۖوَمَالَكُممِّندُونِٱللَّهِمِنوَلِىٍّۢوَلَانَصِيرٍۢ
naṣīrinwalāwaliyyinminl-lahidūniminlakumwamāl-arḍifībimuʿ'jizīnaantumwamā
And notyou(can) escapeinthe earthand notfor youbesidesbesidesAllahanyprotectorand notany helper
42:31
وَمِنْءَايَـٰتِهِٱلْجَوَارِفِىٱلْبَحْرِكَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ
kal-aʿlāmil-baḥrifīl-jawāriāyātihiwamin
And amongHis Signs(are) the shipsinthe sealike [the] mountains
42:32
إِنيَشَأْيُسْكِنِٱلرِّيحَفَيَظْلَلْنَرَوَاكِدَعَلَىٰظَهْرِهِۦٓ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّكُلِّصَبَّارٍۢشَكُورٍ
shakūrinṣabbārinlikullilaāyātindhālikafīinnaẓahrihiʿalārawākidafayaẓlalnal-rīḥayus'kiniyashain
IfHe willsHe can cause the wind to become stillHe can cause the wind to become stillthen they would remainmotionlessonits backIndeedinthatsurely (are) Signsfor everyonepatient(and) grateful
42:33
أَوْيُوبِقْهُنَّبِمَاكَسَبُوا۟وَيَعْفُعَنكَثِيرٍۢ
kathīrinʿanwayaʿfukasabūbimāyūbiq'hunnaaw
OrHe could destroy themfor whatthey have earnedbut He pardons[from]much
42:34
وَيَعْلَمَٱلَّذِينَيُجَـٰدِلُونَفِىٓءَايَـٰتِنَامَالَهُممِّنمَّحِيصٍۢ
maḥīṣinminlahummāāyātināfīyujādilūnaalladhīnawayaʿlama
And may knowthose whodisputeconcerningOur Signs(that) notfor themanyplace of refuge
42:35
فَمَآأُوتِيتُممِّنشَىْءٍۢفَمَتَـٰعُٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَا ۖوَمَاعِندَٱللَّهِخَيْرٌۭوَأَبْقَىٰلِلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَلَىٰرَبِّهِمْيَتَوَكَّلُونَ
yatawakkalūnarabbihimwaʿalāāmanūlilladhīnawa-abqākhayrunl-lahiʿindawamāl-dun'yāl-ḥayatifamatāʿushayinminūtītumfamā
So whateveryou are givenofa thing(is) but a passing enjoyment(for) the life(of) the worldBut what(is) withAllah(is) betterand more lastingfor those whobelieveand upontheir Lordput (their) trust
42:36
وَٱلَّذِينَيَجْتَنِبُونَكَبَـٰٓئِرَٱلْإِثْمِوَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَوَإِذَامَاغَضِبُوا۟هُمْيَغْفِرُونَ
yaghfirūnahumghaḍibūmāwa-idhāwal-fawāḥishal-ith'mikabāirayajtanibūnawa-alladhīna
And those whoavoid(the) greatersinsand the immoralitiesand whenand whenthey are angrytheyforgive
42:37
وَٱلَّذِينَٱسْتَجَابُوا۟لِرَبِّهِمْوَأَقَامُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَأَمْرُهُمْشُورَىٰبَيْنَهُمْوَمِمَّارَزَقْنَـٰهُمْيُنفِقُونَ
yunfiqūnarazaqnāhumwamimmābaynahumshūrāwa-amruhuml-ṣalatawa-aqāmūlirabbihimis'tajābūwa-alladhīna
And those whorespondto their Lordand establishprayerand their affairs(are conducted by) consultationamong themand from whatWe have provided themthey spend
42:38
وَٱلَّذِينَإِذَآأَصَابَهُمُٱلْبَغْىُهُمْيَنتَصِرُونَ
yantaṣirūnahuml-baghyuaṣābahumuidhāwa-alladhīna
And those whowhenstrikes themtyrannytheydefend themselves
42:39
وَجَزَٰٓؤُا۟سَيِّئَةٍۢسَيِّئَةٌۭمِّثْلُهَا ۖفَمَنْعَفَاوَأَصْلَحَفَأَجْرُهُۥعَلَىٱللَّهِ ۚإِنَّهُۥلَايُحِبُّٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnayuḥibbulāinnahul-lahiʿalāfa-ajruhuwa-aṣlaḥaʿafāfamanmith'luhāsayyi-atunsayyi-atinwajazāu
(The) recompense(of) an evil(is) an evillike itBut whoeverpardonsand makes reconciliationthen his reward(is) onAllahIndeed, He(does) notlikethe wrongdoers
42:40
وَلَمَنِٱنتَصَرَبَعْدَظُلْمِهِۦفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَمَاعَلَيْهِممِّنسَبِيلٍ
sabīlinminʿalayhimmāfa-ulāikaẓul'mihibaʿdaintaṣarawalamani
And surely whosoeverdefends himselfafterhe has been wrongedthen thosenot(is) against themanyway
42:41
إِنَّمَاٱلسَّبِيلُعَلَىٱلَّذِينَيَظْلِمُونَٱلنَّاسَوَيَبْغُونَفِىٱلْأَرْضِبِغَيْرِٱلْحَقِّ ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَهُمْعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌۭ
alīmunʿadhābunlahumulāikal-ḥaqibighayril-arḍifīwayabghūnal-nāsayaẓlimūnaalladhīnaʿalāl-sabīluinnamā
Onlythe wayagainstthose whooppressthe peopleand rebelinthe earthwithoutrightThosefor them(is) a punishmentpainful
42:42
وَلَمَنصَبَرَوَغَفَرَإِنَّذَٰلِكَلَمِنْعَزْمِٱلْأُمُورِ
l-umūriʿazmilamindhālikainnawaghafaraṣabarawalaman
And whoever(is) patientand forgivesindeedthat(is) surely ofmatters of determinationmatters of determination
42:43
وَمَنيُضْلِلِٱللَّهُفَمَالَهُۥمِنوَلِىٍّۢمِّنۢبَعْدِهِۦ ۗوَتَرَىٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَلَمَّارَأَوُا۟ٱلْعَذَابَيَقُولُونَهَلْإِلَىٰمَرَدٍّۢمِّنسَبِيلٍۢ
sabīlinminmaraddinilāhalyaqūlūnal-ʿadhābara-awūlammāl-ẓālimīnawatarābaʿdihiminwaliyyinminlahufamāl-lahuyuḍ'liliwaman
And whoeverAllah lets go astrayAllah lets go astraythen notfor himanyprotectorafter Himafter HimAnd you will seethe wrongdoerswhenthey seethe punishmentsayingIs(there) forreturnanyway
42:44
وَتَرَىٰهُمْيُعْرَضُونَعَلَيْهَاخَـٰشِعِينَمِنَٱلذُّلِّيَنظُرُونَمِنطَرْفٍخَفِىٍّۢ ۗوَقَالَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟إِنَّٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَٱلَّذِينَخَسِرُوٓا۟أَنفُسَهُمْوَأَهْلِيهِمْيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗأَلَآإِنَّٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَفِىعَذَابٍۢمُّقِيمٍۢ
muqīminʿadhābinfīl-ẓālimīnainnaalāl-qiyāmatiyawmawa-ahlīhimanfusahumkhasirūalladhīnal-khāsirīnainnaāmanūalladhīnawaqālakhafiyyinṭarfinminyanẓurūnal-dhuliminakhāshiʿīnaʿalayhāyuʿ'raḍūnawatarāhum
And you will see thembeing exposedto ithumbledbydisgracelookingwitha glancestealthyAnd will saythose whobelievedIndeedthe losers(are) those wholostthemselvesand their families(on the) Day(of) the ResurrectionUnquestionablyIndeedthe wrongdoers(are) ina punishmentlasting
42:45
وَمَاكَانَلَهُممِّنْأَوْلِيَآءَيَنصُرُونَهُممِّندُونِٱللَّهِ ۗوَمَنيُضْلِلِٱللَّهُفَمَالَهُۥمِنسَبِيلٍ
sabīlinminlahufamāl-lahuyuḍ'liliwamanl-lahidūniminyanṣurūnahumawliyāaminlahumkānawamā
And notwill befor themanyprotector(who) will help thembesidesbesidesAllahAnd whomAllah lets go astrayAllah lets go astraythen notfor himanyway
42:46
ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟لِرَبِّكُممِّنقَبْلِأَنيَأْتِىَيَوْمٌۭلَّامَرَدَّلَهُۥمِنَٱللَّهِ ۚمَالَكُممِّنمَّلْجَإٍۢيَوْمَئِذٍۢوَمَالَكُممِّننَّكِيرٍۢ
nakīrinminlakumwamāyawma-idhinmalja-inminlakummāl-lahiminalahumaraddalāyawmunyatiyaanqabliminlirabbikumis'tajībū
Respondto your Lordbeforebefore[that]comesa Day(there is) noavertingfor itfromAllahNot(is) for youanyrefuge(on) that Dayand notfor youanydenial
42:47
فَإِنْأَعْرَضُوا۟فَمَآأَرْسَلْنَـٰكَعَلَيْهِمْحَفِيظًا ۖإِنْعَلَيْكَإِلَّاٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ۗوَإِنَّآإِذَآأَذَقْنَاٱلْإِنسَـٰنَمِنَّارَحْمَةًۭفَرِحَبِهَا ۖوَإِنتُصِبْهُمْسَيِّئَةٌۢبِمَاقَدَّمَتْأَيْدِيهِمْفَإِنَّٱلْإِنسَـٰنَكَفُورٌۭ
kafūrunl-insānafa-innaaydīhimqaddamatbimāsayyi-atuntuṣib'humwa-inbihāfariḥaraḥmatanminnāl-insānaadhaqnāidhāwa-innāl-balāghuillāʿalaykainḥafīẓanʿalayhimarsalnākafamāaʿraḍūfa-in
Then ifthey turn awaythen notWe have sent youover them(as) a guardianNot(is) on youexceptthe conveyanceAnd indeedwhenWe cause to taste[the] manfrom UsMercyhe rejoicesin itBut ifbefalls themevilfor whathave sent forththeir handsthen indeed[the] man(is) ungrateful
42:48
لِّلَّهِمُلْكُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚيَخْلُقُمَايَشَآءُ ۚيَهَبُلِمَنيَشَآءُإِنَـٰثًۭاوَيَهَبُلِمَنيَشَآءُٱلذُّكُورَ
l-dhukūrayashāulimanwayahabuināthanyashāulimanyahabuyashāumāyakhluquwal-arḍil-samāwātimul'kulillahi
To Allah(belongs the) dominion(of) the heavensand the earthHe createswhatHe willsHe grantsto whomHe willsfemalesand He grantsto whomHe wills[the] males
42:49
أَوْيُزَوِّجُهُمْذُكْرَانًۭاوَإِنَـٰثًۭا ۖوَيَجْعَلُمَنيَشَآءُعَقِيمًا ۚإِنَّهُۥعَلِيمٌۭقَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrunʿalīmuninnahuʿaqīmanyashāumanwayajʿaluwa-ināthandhuk'rānanyuzawwijuhumaw
OrHe grants themmalesand femalesand He makeswhomHe willsbarrenIndeed, He(is) All-KnowerAll-Powerful
42:50
۞ وَمَاكَانَلِبَشَرٍأَنيُكَلِّمَهُٱللَّهُإِلَّاوَحْيًاأَوْمِنوَرَآئِحِجَابٍأَوْيُرْسِلَرَسُولًۭافَيُوحِىَبِإِذْنِهِۦمَايَشَآءُ ۚإِنَّهُۥعَلِىٌّحَكِيمٌۭ
ḥakīmunʿaliyyuninnahuyashāumābi-idh'nihifayūḥiyarasūlanyur'silaawḥijābinwarāiminawwaḥyanillāl-lahuyukallimahuanlibasharinkānawamā
And notisfor any humanthatAllah should speak to himAllah should speak to himexcept(by) revelationorfrombehinda veilor(by) sendinga messengerthen he revealsby His permissionwhatHe willsIndeed, He(is) Most HighMost Wise
42:51
وَكَذَٰلِكَأَوْحَيْنَآإِلَيْكَرُوحًۭامِّنْأَمْرِنَا ۚمَاكُنتَتَدْرِىمَاٱلْكِتَـٰبُوَلَاٱلْإِيمَـٰنُوَلَـٰكِنجَعَلْنَـٰهُنُورًۭانَّهْدِىبِهِۦمَننَّشَآءُمِنْعِبَادِنَا ۚوَإِنَّكَلَتَهْدِىٓإِلَىٰصِرَٰطٍۢمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
mus'taqīminṣirāṭinilālatahdīwa-innakaʿibādināminnashāumanbihinahdīnūranjaʿalnāhuwalākinl-īmānuwalāl-kitābumātadrīkuntamāamrināminrūḥanilaykaawḥaynāwakadhālika
And thusWe have revealedto youan inspirationbyOur CommandNot(did) youknowwhatthe Book (is)and notthe faithButWe have made ita lightWe guidewith itwhomWe willofOur slavesAnd indeed, yousurely guideto(the) PathStraight
42:52
صِرَٰطِٱللَّهِٱلَّذِىلَهُۥمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۗأَلَآإِلَىٱللَّهِتَصِيرُٱلْأُمُورُ
l-umūrutaṣīrul-lahiilāalāl-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmālahualladhīl-lahiṣirāṭi
(The) path(of) Allahthe Oneto Whom(belongs) whatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earthUnquestionablyToAllahreachall affairs
42:53
Basmala
حمٓ
hha-meem
Ha Meem
43:1
وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِٱلْمُبِينِ
l-mubīniwal-kitābi
By the Bookthe clear
43:2
إِنَّاجَعَلْنَـٰهُقُرْءَٰنًاعَرَبِيًّۭالَّعَلَّكُمْتَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūnalaʿallakumʿarabiyyanqur'ānanjaʿalnāhuinnā
Indeed, We(have) made ita Quran(in) Arabicso that you mayunderstand
43:3
وَإِنَّهُۥفِىٓأُمِّٱلْكِتَـٰبِلَدَيْنَالَعَلِىٌّحَكِيمٌ
ḥakīmunlaʿaliyyunladaynāl-kitābiummifīwa-innahu
And indeed, it(is) in(the) Mother(of) the Bookwith Ussurely exaltedfull of wisdom
43:4
أَفَنَضْرِبُعَنكُمُٱلذِّكْرَصَفْحًاأَنكُنتُمْقَوْمًۭامُّسْرِفِينَ
mus'rifīnaqawmankuntumanṣafḥanl-dhik'raʿankumuafanaḍribu
Then should We take awayfrom youthe Reminderdisregarding (you)becauseyou area peopletransgressing
43:5
وَكَمْأَرْسَلْنَامِننَّبِىٍّۢفِىٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
l-awalīnafīnabiyyinminarsalnāwakam
And how manyWe sentofa Prophetamongthe former (people)
43:6
وَمَايَأْتِيهِممِّننَّبِىٍّإِلَّاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
yastahziūnabihikānūillānabiyyinminyatīhimwamā
And notcame to themany Prophetany Prophetbutthey used tomock at himmock at him
43:7
فَأَهْلَكْنَآأَشَدَّمِنْهُمبَطْشًۭاوَمَضَىٰمَثَلُٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
l-awalīnamathaluwamaḍābaṭshanmin'humashaddafa-ahlaknā
Then We destroyedstrongerthan them(in) powerand has passed(the) example(of) the former (people)
43:8
وَلَئِنسَأَلْتَهُممَّنْخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَلَيَقُولُنَّخَلَقَهُنَّٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-ʿazīzukhalaqahunnalayaqūlunnawal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqamansa-altahumwala-in
And ifyou ask themWhocreatedthe heavensand the earthThey will surely sayCreated themthe All-Mightythe All-Knower
43:9
ٱلَّذِىجَعَلَلَكُمُٱلْأَرْضَمَهْدًۭاوَجَعَلَلَكُمْفِيهَاسُبُلًۭالَّعَلَّكُمْتَهْتَدُونَ
tahtadūnalaʿallakumsubulanfīhālakumwajaʿalamahdanl-arḍalakumujaʿalaalladhī
The One Whomadefor youthe eartha bedand madefor youthereinroadsso that you may(be) guided
43:10
وَٱلَّذِىنَزَّلَمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۢبِقَدَرٍۢفَأَنشَرْنَابِهِۦبَلْدَةًۭمَّيْتًۭا ۚكَذَٰلِكَتُخْرَجُونَ
tukh'rajūnakadhālikamaytanbaldatanbihifa-ansharnābiqadarinmāanl-samāiminanazzalawa-alladhī
And the One Whosends downfromthe skywaterin (due) measurethen We revivewith ita landdeadthusyou will be brought forth
43:11
وَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلْأَزْوَٰجَكُلَّهَاوَجَعَلَلَكُممِّنَٱلْفُلْكِوَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِمَاتَرْكَبُونَ
tarkabūnamāwal-anʿāmil-ful'kiminalakumwajaʿalakullahāl-azwājakhalaqawa-alladhī
And the One Whocreatedthe pairsall of themand madefor you[of]the shipsand the cattlewhatyou ride
43:12
لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟عَلَىٰظُهُورِهِۦثُمَّتَذْكُرُوا۟نِعْمَةَرَبِّكُمْإِذَاٱسْتَوَيْتُمْعَلَيْهِوَتَقُولُوا۟سُبْحَـٰنَٱلَّذِىسَخَّرَلَنَاهَـٰذَاوَمَاكُنَّالَهُۥمُقْرِنِينَ
muq'rinīnalahukunnāwamāhādhālanāsakharaalladhīsub'ḥānawataqūlūʿalayhiis'tawaytumidhārabbikumniʿ'matatadhkurūthummaẓuhūrihiʿalālitastawū
That you may sit firmlyontheir backsthenremember(the) favor(of) your Lordwhenyou sit firmlyon themand sayGlory be (to)the One Who(has) subjectedto usthisand notwe wereof itcapable
43:13
وَإِنَّآإِلَىٰرَبِّنَالَمُنقَلِبُونَ
lamunqalibūnarabbināilāwa-innā
And indeed, wetoour Lordwill surely return
43:14
وَجَعَلُوا۟لَهُۥمِنْعِبَادِهِۦجُزْءًا ۚإِنَّٱلْإِنسَـٰنَلَكَفُورٌۭمُّبِينٌ
mubīnunlakafūrunl-insānainnajuz'anʿibādihiminlahuwajaʿalū
But they attributeto HimfromHis slavesa portionIndeedmansurely (is) clearly ungratefulsurely (is) clearly ungrateful
43:15
أَمِٱتَّخَذَمِمَّايَخْلُقُبَنَاتٍۢوَأَصْفَىٰكُمبِٱلْبَنِينَ
bil-banīnawa-aṣfākumbanātinyakhluqumimmāittakhadhaami
Orhas He takenof whatHe has createddaughtersand He has chosen (for) yousons
43:16
وَإِذَابُشِّرَأَحَدُهُمبِمَاضَرَبَلِلرَّحْمَـٰنِمَثَلًۭاظَلَّوَجْهُهُۥمُسْوَدًّۭاوَهُوَكَظِيمٌ
kaẓīmunwahuwamus'waddanwajhuhuẓallamathalanlilrraḥmāniḍarababimāaḥaduhumbushirawa-idhā
And whenis given good news(to) one of themof whathe sets upfor the Most Gracious(as) a likenessbecomeshis facedarkand he(is) filled with grief
43:17
أَوَمَنيُنَشَّؤُا۟فِىٱلْحِلْيَةِوَهُوَفِىٱلْخِصَامِغَيْرُمُبِينٍۢ
mubīninghayrul-khiṣāmifīwahuwal-ḥil'yatifīyunasha-uawaman
Then (is one) whois brought upinornamentsand heinthe dispute(is) notclear
43:18
وَجَعَلُوا۟ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَٱلَّذِينَهُمْعِبَـٰدُٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِإِنَـٰثًا ۚأَشَهِدُوا۟خَلْقَهُمْ ۚسَتُكْتَبُشَهَـٰدَتُهُمْوَيُسْـَٔلُونَ
wayus'alūnashahādatuhumsatuk'tabukhalqahumashahidūināthanl-raḥmāniʿibāduhumalladhīnal-malāikatawajaʿalū
And they madethe Angelsthose whothemselves(are) slaves(of) the Most GraciousfemalesDid they witnesstheir creationWill be recordedtheir testimonyand they will be questioned
43:19
وَقَالُوا۟لَوْشَآءَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُمَاعَبَدْنَـٰهُم ۗمَّالَهُمبِذَٰلِكَمِنْعِلْمٍ ۖإِنْهُمْإِلَّايَخْرُصُونَ
yakhruṣūnaillāhuminʿil'minminbidhālikalahummāʿabadnāhummāl-raḥmānushāalawwaqālū
And they sayIfhad willedthe Most Graciouswe would not have worshipped themwe would not have worshipped themNotthey haveabout thatanyknowledgeNothingthey (do)butlie
43:20
أَمْءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْكِتَـٰبًۭامِّنقَبْلِهِۦفَهُمبِهِۦمُسْتَمْسِكُونَ
mus'tamsikūnabihifahumqablihiminkitābanātaynāhumam
Orhave We given thema bookbefore itbefore itso theyto it(are) holding fast
43:21
بَلْقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّاوَجَدْنَآءَابَآءَنَاعَلَىٰٓأُمَّةٍۢوَإِنَّاعَلَىٰٓءَاثَـٰرِهِممُّهْتَدُونَ
muh'tadūnaāthārihimʿalāwa-innāummatinʿalāābāanāwajadnāinnāqālūbal
Naythey sayIndeed, we[we] foundour forefathersupona religionand indeed, weontheir footsteps(are) guided
43:22
وَكَذَٰلِكَمَآأَرْسَلْنَامِنقَبْلِكَفِىقَرْيَةٍۢمِّننَّذِيرٍإِلَّاقَالَمُتْرَفُوهَآإِنَّاوَجَدْنَآءَابَآءَنَاعَلَىٰٓأُمَّةٍۢوَإِنَّاعَلَىٰٓءَاثَـٰرِهِممُّقْتَدُونَ
muq'tadūnaāthārihimʿalāwa-innāummatinʿalāābāanāwajadnāinnāmut'rafūhāqālaillānadhīrinminqaryatinfīqablikaminarsalnāmāwakadhālika
And thusnotWe sentbefore youbefore youina townanywarnerexceptsaid(the) wealthy ones of itIndeed, we[we] foundour forefathersona religionand indeed, we[on]their footsteps(are) following
43:23
۞ قَـٰلَأَوَلَوْجِئْتُكُمبِأَهْدَىٰمِمَّاوَجَدتُّمْعَلَيْهِءَابَآءَكُمْ ۖقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّابِمَآأُرْسِلْتُمبِهِۦكَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūnabihiur'sil'tumbimāinnāqālūābāakumʿalayhiwajadttummimmābi-ahdāji'tukumawalawqāla
He saidEven ifI brought youbetter guidancethan whatyou foundon ityour forefathersThey saidIndeed, wewith whatyou are sentwith [it](are) disbelievers
43:24
فَٱنتَقَمْنَامِنْهُمْ ۖفَٱنظُرْكَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
l-mukadhibīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafa-unẓurmin'humfa-intaqamnā
So We took retributionfrom themThen seehowwas(the) end(of) the deniers
43:25
وَإِذْقَالَإِبْرَٰهِيمُلِأَبِيهِوَقَوْمِهِۦٓإِنَّنِىبَرَآءٌۭمِّمَّاتَعْبُدُونَ
taʿbudūnamimmābarāoninnanīwaqawmihili-abīhiib'rāhīmuqālawa-idh
And whenIbrahim SaidIbrahim Saidto his fatherand his peopleIndeed, I (am)disassociatedfrom whatyou worship
43:26
إِلَّاٱلَّذِىفَطَرَنِىفَإِنَّهُۥسَيَهْدِينِ
sayahdīnifa-innahufaṭaranīalladhīillā
Exceptthe One Whocreated meand indeed, Hewill guide me
43:27
وَجَعَلَهَاكَلِمَةًۢبَاقِيَةًۭفِىعَقِبِهِۦلَعَلَّهُمْيَرْجِعُونَ
yarjiʿūnalaʿallahumʿaqibihifībāqiyatankalimatanwajaʿalahā
And he made ita wordlastingamonghis descendentsso that they mayreturn
43:28
بَلْمَتَّعْتُهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِوَءَابَآءَهُمْحَتَّىٰجَآءَهُمُٱلْحَقُّوَرَسُولٌۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunwarasūlunl-ḥaqujāahumuḥattāwaābāahumhāulāimattaʿtubal
NayI gave enjoyment(to) theseand their forefathersuntilcame to themthe truthand a Messengerclear
43:29
وَلَمَّاجَآءَهُمُٱلْحَقُّقَالُوا۟هَـٰذَاسِحْرٌۭوَإِنَّابِهِۦكَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūnabihiwa-innāsiḥ'runhādhāqālūl-ḥaqujāahumuwalammā
And whencame to themthe truththey saidThis(is) magicand indeed, weof it(are) disbelievers
43:30
وَقَالُوا۟لَوْلَانُزِّلَهَـٰذَاٱلْقُرْءَانُعَلَىٰرَجُلٍۢمِّنَٱلْقَرْيَتَيْنِعَظِيمٍ
ʿaẓīminl-qaryatayniminarajulinʿalāl-qur'ānuhādhānuzzilalawlāwaqālū
And they sayWhy notwas sent downthisthe Qurantoa manfromthe two townsgreat
43:31
أَهُمْيَقْسِمُونَرَحْمَتَرَبِّكَ ۚنَحْنُقَسَمْنَابَيْنَهُممَّعِيشَتَهُمْفِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَا ۚوَرَفَعْنَابَعْضَهُمْفَوْقَبَعْضٍۢدَرَجَـٰتٍۢلِّيَتَّخِذَبَعْضُهُمبَعْضًۭاسُخْرِيًّۭا ۗوَرَحْمَتُرَبِّكَخَيْرٌۭمِّمَّايَجْمَعُونَ
yajmaʿūnamimmākhayrunrabbikawaraḥmatusukh'riyyanbaʿḍanbaʿḍuhumliyattakhidhadarajātinbaʿḍinfawqabaʿḍahumwarafaʿnāl-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīmaʿīshatahumbaynahumqasamnānaḥnurabbikaraḥmatayaqsimūnaahum
Do theydistribute(the) Mercy(of) your LordWe[We] distributeamong themtheir livelihoodinthe life(of) the worldand We raisesome of themaboveothers(in) degreesso that may takesome of themothers(for) serviceBut (the) Mercy(of) your Lord(is) betterthan whatthey accumulate
43:32
وَلَوْلَآأَنيَكُونَٱلنَّاسُأُمَّةًۭوَٰحِدَةًۭلَّجَعَلْنَالِمَنيَكْفُرُبِٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِلِبُيُوتِهِمْسُقُفًۭامِّنفِضَّةٍۢوَمَعَارِجَعَلَيْهَايَظْهَرُونَ
yaẓharūnaʿalayhāwamaʿārijafiḍḍatinminsuqufanlibuyūtihimbil-raḥmāniyakfurulimanlajaʿalnāwāḥidatanummatanl-nāsuyakūnaanwalawlā
And if notthat(would) become[the] mankinda communityoneWe (would have) madefor (one) whodisbelievesin the Most Graciousfor their housesroofsofsilverand stairwaysupon whichthey mount
43:33
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْأَبْوَٰبًۭاوَسُرُرًاعَلَيْهَايَتَّكِـُٔونَ
yattakiūnaʿalayhāwasururanabwābanwalibuyūtihim
And for their housesdoorsand couchesupon whichthey recline
43:34
وَزُخْرُفًۭا ۚوَإِنكُلُّذَٰلِكَلَمَّامَتَـٰعُٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَا ۚوَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُعِندَرَبِّكَلِلْمُتَّقِينَ
lil'muttaqīnarabbikaʿindawal-ākhiratul-dun'yāl-ḥayatimatāʿulammādhālikakulluwa-inwazukh'rufan
And ornaments of goldAnd not (is)allthatbutan enjoyment(of) the life(of) the worldAnd the Hereafterwithyour Lord(is) for the righteous
43:35
وَمَنيَعْشُعَنذِكْرِٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِنُقَيِّضْلَهُۥشَيْطَـٰنًۭافَهُوَلَهُۥقَرِينٌۭ
qarīnunlahufahuwashayṭānanlahunuqayyiḍl-raḥmānidhik'riʿanyaʿshuwaman
And whoeverturns awayfrom(the) remembrance(of) the Most GraciousWe appointfor hima devilthen he(is) to hima companion
43:36
وَإِنَّهُمْلَيَصُدُّونَهُمْعَنِٱلسَّبِيلِوَيَحْسَبُونَأَنَّهُممُّهْتَدُونَ
muh'tadūnaannahumwayaḥsabūnal-sabīliʿanilayaṣuddūnahumwa-innahum
And indeed, theysurely, turn themfromthe Pathand they thinkthat they(are) guided
43:37
حَتَّىٰٓإِذَاجَآءَنَاقَالَيَـٰلَيْتَبَيْنِىوَبَيْنَكَبُعْدَٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِفَبِئْسَٱلْقَرِينُ
l-qarīnufabi'sal-mashriqaynibuʿ'dawabaynakabaynīyālaytaqālajāanāidhāḥattā
Untilwhenhe comes to Ushe saysO would thatbetween meand between you(were the) distance(of) the East and the WestHow wretched isthe companion
43:38
وَلَنيَنفَعَكُمُٱلْيَوْمَإِذظَّلَمْتُمْأَنَّكُمْفِىٱلْعَذَابِمُشْتَرِكُونَ
mush'tarikūnal-ʿadhābifīannakumẓalamtumidhl-yawmayanfaʿakumuwalan
And neverwill benefit youthe Daywhenyou have wrongedthat you(will be) inthe punishmentsharing
43:39
أَفَأَنتَتُسْمِعُٱلصُّمَّأَوْتَهْدِىٱلْعُمْىَوَمَنكَانَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninḍalālinfīkānawamanl-ʿum'yatahdīawl-ṣumatus'miʿuafa-anta
Then can youcause to hearthe deaforguidethe blindand (one) whoisinan errorclear
43:40
فَإِمَّانَذْهَبَنَّبِكَفَإِنَّامِنْهُممُّنتَقِمُونَ
muntaqimūnamin'humfa-innābikanadhhabannafa-immā
And whetherWe take you awayWe take you awaythen indeed, Wefrom them(will) take retribution
43:41
أَوْنُرِيَنَّكَٱلَّذِىوَعَدْنَـٰهُمْفَإِنَّاعَلَيْهِممُّقْتَدِرُونَ
muq'tadirūnaʿalayhimfa-innāwaʿadnāhumalladhīnuriyannakaaw
OrWe show youthat whichWe have promised themthen indeed, Weover themhave full power
43:42
فَٱسْتَمْسِكْبِٱلَّذِىٓأُوحِىَإِلَيْكَ ۖإِنَّكَعَلَىٰصِرَٰطٍۢمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
mus'taqīminṣirāṭinʿalāinnakailaykaūḥiyabi-alladhīfa-is'tamsik
So hold fastto that whichis revealedto youIndeed, you(are) ona PathStraight
43:43
وَإِنَّهُۥلَذِكْرٌۭلَّكَوَلِقَوْمِكَ ۖوَسَوْفَتُسْـَٔلُونَ
tus'alūnawasawfawaliqawmikalakaladhik'runwa-innahu
And indeed, it(is) surely, a Reminderfor youand your peopleand soonyou will be questioned
43:44
وَسْـَٔلْمَنْأَرْسَلْنَامِنقَبْلِكَمِنرُّسُلِنَآأَجَعَلْنَامِندُونِٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِءَالِهَةًۭيُعْبَدُونَ
yuʿ'badūnaālihatanl-raḥmānidūniminajaʿalnārusulināminqablikaminarsalnāmanwasal
And ask(those) whomWe sentbefore youbefore youofOur Messengersdid We makebesidesbesidesthe Most Graciousgodsto be worshipped
43:45
وَلَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَامُوسَىٰبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآإِلَىٰفِرْعَوْنَوَمَلَإِي۟هِۦفَقَالَإِنِّىرَسُولُرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbirasūluinnīfaqālawamala-ihifir'ʿawnailābiāyātināmūsāarsalnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe sentMusawith Our SignstoFiraunand his chiefsand he saidIndeed, I ama Messenger(of the) Lord(of) the worlds
43:46
فَلَمَّاجَآءَهُمبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآإِذَاهُممِّنْهَايَضْحَكُونَ
yaḍḥakūnamin'hāhumidhābiāyātinājāahumfalammā
But whenhe came to themwith Our SignsbeholdTheyat themlaughed
43:47
وَمَانُرِيهِممِّنْءَايَةٍإِلَّاهِىَأَكْبَرُمِنْأُخْتِهَا ۖوَأَخَذْنَـٰهُمبِٱلْعَذَابِلَعَلَّهُمْيَرْجِعُونَ
yarjiʿūnalaʿallahumbil-ʿadhābiwa-akhadhnāhumukh'tihāminakbaruhiyaillāāyatinminnurīhimwamā
And notWe showed themofa Signbutit(was) greaterthanits sisterand We seized themwith the punishmentso that they mayreturn
43:48
وَقَالُوا۟يَـٰٓأَيُّهَٱلسَّاحِرُٱدْعُلَنَارَبَّكَبِمَاعَهِدَعِندَكَإِنَّنَالَمُهْتَدُونَ
lamuh'tadūnainnanāʿindakaʿahidabimārabbakalanāud'ʿul-sāḥiruyāayyuhawaqālū
And they saidO[the] magicianInvokefor usyour Lordby whatHe has made covenantwith youIndeed, we(will) surely be guided
43:49
فَلَمَّاكَشَفْنَاعَنْهُمُٱلْعَذَابَإِذَاهُمْيَنكُثُونَ
yankuthūnahumidhāl-ʿadhābaʿanhumukashafnāfalammā
But whenWe removedfrom themthe punishmentbeholdTheybroke (their word)
43:50
وَنَادَىٰفِرْعَوْنُفِىقَوْمِهِۦقَالَيَـٰقَوْمِأَلَيْسَلِىمُلْكُمِصْرَوَهَـٰذِهِٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِىٓ ۖأَفَلَاتُبْصِرُونَ
tub'ṣirūnaafalātaḥtīmintajrīl-anhāruwahādhihimiṣ'ramul'kulīalaysayāqawmiqālaqawmihifīfir'ʿawnuwanādā
And called outFiraunamonghis peoplehe saidO my peopleIs notfor me(the) kingdom(of) Egyptand these[the] riversflowingunderneath meunderneath meThen do notyou see
43:51
أَمْأَنَا۠خَيْرٌۭمِّنْهَـٰذَاٱلَّذِىهُوَمَهِينٌۭوَلَايَكَادُيُبِينُ
yubīnuyakāduwalāmahīnunhuwaalladhīhādhāminkhayrunanāam
Oram Ibetterthanthisone who he(is) insignificantand hardlyand hardlyclear
43:52
فَلَوْلَآأُلْقِىَعَلَيْهِأَسْوِرَةٌۭمِّنذَهَبٍأَوْجَآءَمَعَهُٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُمُقْتَرِنِينَ
muq'tarinīnal-malāikatumaʿahujāaawdhahabinminaswiratunʿalayhiul'qiyafalawlā
Then why notare placedon himbraceletsofgoldorcomewith himthe Angelsaccompanying (him)
43:53
فَٱسْتَخَفَّقَوْمَهُۥفَأَطَاعُوهُ ۚإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟قَوْمًۭافَـٰسِقِينَ
fāsiqīnaqawmankānūinnahumfa-aṭāʿūhuqawmahufa-is'takhaffa
So he bluffedhis peopleand they obeyed himIndeed, theywerea peopledefiantly disobedient
43:54
فَلَمَّآءَاسَفُونَاٱنتَقَمْنَامِنْهُمْفَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْأَجْمَعِينَ
ajmaʿīnafa-aghraqnāhummin'humintaqamnāāsafūnāfalammā
So whenthey angered UsWe took retributionfrom themand We drowned themall
43:55
فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْسَلَفًۭاوَمَثَلًۭالِّلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
lil'ākhirīnawamathalansalafanfajaʿalnāhum
And We made thema precedentand an examplefor the later (generations)
43:56
۞ وَلَمَّاضُرِبَٱبْنُمَرْيَمَمَثَلًاإِذَاقَوْمُكَمِنْهُيَصِدُّونَ
yaṣiddūnamin'huqawmukaidhāmathalanmaryamaub'nuḍuribawalammā
And whenis presented(the) son(of) Maryam(as) an examplebeholdYour peopleabout itlaughed aloud
43:57
وَقَالُوٓا۟ءَأَـٰلِهَتُنَاخَيْرٌأَمْهُوَ ۚمَاضَرَبُوهُلَكَإِلَّاجَدَلًۢا ۚبَلْهُمْقَوْمٌخَصِمُونَ
khaṣimūnaqawmunhumbaljadalanillālakaḍarabūhumāhuwaamkhayrunaālihatunāwaqālū
And they saidAre our godsbetterorheNotthey present itto youexcept(for) argumentNaythey(are) a peopleargumentative
43:58
إِنْهُوَإِلَّاعَبْدٌأَنْعَمْنَاعَلَيْهِوَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمَثَلًۭالِّبَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'rāīlalibanīmathalanwajaʿalnāhuʿalayhianʿamnāʿabdunillāhuwain
Nothe(was) excepta slaveWe bestowed Our favoron himand We made himan examplefor (the) Children of Israelfor (the) Children of Israel
43:59
وَلَوْنَشَآءُلَجَعَلْنَامِنكُممَّلَـٰٓئِكَةًۭفِىٱلْأَرْضِيَخْلُفُونَ
yakhlufūnal-arḍifīmalāikatanminkumlajaʿalnānashāuwalaw
And ifWe willedsurely We (could have) madeamong youAngelsinthe earthsucceeding
43:60
وَإِنَّهُۥلَعِلْمٌۭلِّلسَّاعَةِفَلَاتَمْتَرُنَّبِهَاوَٱتَّبِعُونِ ۚهَـٰذَاصِرَٰطٌۭمُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ
mus'taqīmunṣirāṭunhādhāwa-ittabiʿūnibihātamtarunnafalālilssāʿatilaʿil'munwa-innahu
And indeed, itsurely (is) a knowledgeof the HourSo (do) not(be) doubtfulabout itand follow MeThis(is the) PathStraight
43:61
وَلَايَصُدَّنَّكُمُٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ ۖإِنَّهُۥلَكُمْعَدُوٌّۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunʿaduwwunlakuminnahul-shayṭānuyaṣuddannakumuwalā
And (let) notavert youthe ShaitaanIndeed, he(is) for youan enemyclear
43:62
وَلَمَّاجَآءَعِيسَىٰبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِقَالَقَدْجِئْتُكُمبِٱلْحِكْمَةِوَلِأُبَيِّنَلَكُمبَعْضَٱلَّذِىتَخْتَلِفُونَفِيهِ ۖفَٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَأَطِيعُونِ
wa-aṭīʿūnil-lahafa-ittaqūfīhitakhtalifūnaalladhībaʿḍalakumwali-ubayyinabil-ḥik'matiji'tukumqadqālabil-bayinātiʿīsājāawalammā
And whencameIsawith clear proofshe saidVerilyI have come to youwith wisdomand that I make clearto yousome(of) that whichyou differin itSo fearAllahand obey me
43:63
إِنَّٱللَّهَهُوَرَبِّىوَرَبُّكُمْفَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚهَـٰذَاصِرَٰطٌۭمُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ
mus'taqīmunṣirāṭunhādhāfa-uʿ'budūhuwarabbukumrabbīhuwal-lahainna
IndeedAllahHe(is) my Lordand your Lordso worship HimThis(is) a PathStraight
43:64
فَٱخْتَلَفَٱلْأَحْزَابُمِنۢبَيْنِهِمْ ۖفَوَيْلٌۭلِّلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟مِنْعَذَابِيَوْمٍأَلِيمٍ
alīminyawminʿadhābiminẓalamūlilladhīnafawaylunbaynihimminl-aḥzābufa-ikh'talafa
But differedthe factionsfromamong themso woeto those whowrongedfrom(the) punishment(of the) Daypainful
43:65
هَلْيَنظُرُونَإِلَّاٱلسَّاعَةَأَنتَأْتِيَهُمبَغْتَةًۭوَهُمْلَايَشْعُرُونَ
yashʿurūnalāwahumbaghtatantatiyahumanl-sāʿataillāyanẓurūnahal
Arethey waitingexcept(for) the Hourthatit should come on themsuddenlywhile they(do) notperceive
43:66
ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُيَوْمَئِذٍۭبَعْضُهُمْلِبَعْضٍعَدُوٌّإِلَّاٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
l-mutaqīnaillāʿaduwwunlibaʿḍinbaʿḍuhumyawma-idhinal-akhilāu
Friendsthat Daysome of themto others(will be) enemiesexceptthe righteous
43:67
يَـٰعِبَادِلَاخَوْفٌعَلَيْكُمُٱلْيَوْمَوَلَآأَنتُمْتَحْزَنُونَ
taḥzanūnaantumwalāl-yawmaʿalaykumukhawfunlāyāʿibādi
O My slavesNofearon youthis Dayand notyouwill grieve
43:68
ٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاوَكَانُوا۟مُسْلِمِينَ
mus'limīnawakānūbiāyātināāmanūalladhīna
Those whobelievedin Our Versesand weresubmissive
43:69
ٱدْخُلُوا۟ٱلْجَنَّةَأَنتُمْوَأَزْوَٰجُكُمْتُحْبَرُونَ
tuḥ'barūnawa-azwājukumantuml-janataud'khulū
EnterParadiseyouand your spousesdelighted
43:70
يُطَافُعَلَيْهِمبِصِحَافٍۢمِّنذَهَبٍۢوَأَكْوَابٍۢ ۖوَفِيهَامَاتَشْتَهِيهِٱلْأَنفُسُوَتَلَذُّٱلْأَعْيُنُ ۖوَأَنتُمْفِيهَاخَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūnafīhāwa-antuml-aʿyunuwataladhul-anfusutashtahīhimāwafīhāwa-akwābindhahabinminbiṣiḥāfinʿalayhimyuṭāfu
Will be circulatedfor themplatesofgoldand cupsAnd therein(is) whatdesiresthe soulsand delightsthe eyesand youthereinwill abide forever
43:71
وَتِلْكَٱلْجَنَّةُٱلَّتِىٓأُورِثْتُمُوهَابِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāūrith'tumūhāallatīl-janatuwatil'ka
And this(is) the Paradisewhichyou are made to inheritfor whatyou used todo
43:72
لَكُمْفِيهَافَـٰكِهَةٌۭكَثِيرَةٌۭمِّنْهَاتَأْكُلُونَ
takulūnamin'hākathīratunfākihatunfīhālakum
For youtherein(are) fruitsabundantfrom ityou will eat
43:73
إِنَّٱلْمُجْرِمِينَفِىعَذَابِجَهَنَّمَخَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūnajahannamaʿadhābifīl-muj'rimīnainna
Indeedthe criminals(will be) in(the) punishment(of) Hellabiding forever
43:74
لَايُفَتَّرُعَنْهُمْوَهُمْفِيهِمُبْلِسُونَ
mub'lisūnafīhiwahumʿanhumyufattarulā
Notwill it subsidefor themand theyin it(will) despair
43:75
وَمَاظَلَمْنَـٰهُمْوَلَـٰكِنكَانُوا۟هُمُٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnahumukānūwalākinẓalamnāhumwamā
And notWe wronged thembutthey werethemselveswrongdoers
43:76
وَنَادَوْا۟يَـٰمَـٰلِكُلِيَقْضِعَلَيْنَارَبُّكَ ۖقَالَإِنَّكُممَّـٰكِثُونَ
mākithūnainnakumqālarabbukaʿalaynāliyaqḍiyāmālikuwanādaw
And they will callO MalikLet put an endto usyour LordHe (will) sayIndeed, you(will) remain
43:77
لَقَدْجِئْنَـٰكُمبِٱلْحَقِّوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَكُمْلِلْحَقِّكَـٰرِهُونَ
kārihūnalil'ḥaqqiaktharakumwalākinnabil-ḥaqiji'nākumlaqad
CertainlyWe have brought youthe truthbutmost of youto the truth(are) averse
43:78
أَمْأَبْرَمُوٓا۟أَمْرًۭافَإِنَّامُبْرِمُونَ
mub'rimūnafa-innāamranabramūam
Orhave they determinedan affairThen indeed, We(are) determined
43:79
أَمْيَحْسَبُونَأَنَّالَانَسْمَعُسِرَّهُمْوَنَجْوَىٰهُم ۚبَلَىٰوَرُسُلُنَالَدَيْهِمْيَكْتُبُونَ
yaktubūnaladayhimwarusulunābalāwanajwāhumsirrahumnasmaʿulāannāyaḥsabūnaam
Or(do) they thinkthat We(can) notheartheir secret(s)and their private counsel(s)Nayand Our Messengerswith themare recording
43:80
قُلْإِنكَانَلِلرَّحْمَـٰنِوَلَدٌۭفَأَنَا۠أَوَّلُٱلْعَـٰبِدِينَ
l-ʿābidīnaawwalufa-anāwaladunlilrraḥmānikānainqul
SayIfhadthe Most Graciousa sonThen, I(would be the) first(of) the worshippers
43:81
سُبْحَـٰنَرَبِّٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِرَبِّٱلْعَرْشِعَمَّايَصِفُونَ
yaṣifūnaʿammāl-ʿarshirabbiwal-arḍil-samāwātirabbisub'ḥāna
Glory be(to the) Lord(of) the heavensand the earth(the) Lord(of) the Throneabove whatthey ascribe
43:82
فَذَرْهُمْيَخُوضُوا۟وَيَلْعَبُوا۟حَتَّىٰيُلَـٰقُوا۟يَوْمَهُمُٱلَّذِىيُوعَدُونَ
yūʿadūnaalladhīyawmahumuyulāqūḥattāwayalʿabūyakhūḍūfadharhum
So leave them(to) converse vainlyand playuntilthey meettheir Daywhichthey are promised
43:83
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىفِىٱلسَّمَآءِإِلَـٰهٌۭوَفِىٱلْأَرْضِإِلَـٰهٌۭ ۚوَهُوَٱلْحَكِيمُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-ḥakīmuwahuwailāhunl-arḍiwafīilāhunl-samāifīalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Who(is) inthe heaven Godand inthe earth GodAnd He(is) the All-Wisethe All-Knower
43:84
وَتَبَارَكَٱلَّذِىلَهُۥمُلْكُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِوَمَابَيْنَهُمَاوَعِندَهُۥعِلْمُٱلسَّاعَةِوَإِلَيْهِتُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūnawa-ilayhil-sāʿatiʿil'muwaʿindahubaynahumāwamāwal-arḍil-samāwātimul'kulahualladhīwatabāraka
And blessed (is)the One Who to Whom(belongs the) dominion(of) the heavensand the earthand whatever(is) between both of themand with Him(is the) knowledge(of) the Hourand to Himyou will be returned
43:85
وَلَايَمْلِكُٱلَّذِينَيَدْعُونَمِندُونِهِٱلشَّفَـٰعَةَإِلَّامَنشَهِدَبِٱلْحَقِّوَهُمْيَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnawahumbil-ḥaqishahidamanillāl-shafāʿatadūnihiminyadʿūnaalladhīnayamlikuwalā
And nothave powerthose whomthey invokebesides Himbesides Him(for) the intercessionexceptwhotestifiesto the truthand theyknow
43:86
وَلَئِنسَأَلْتَهُممَّنْخَلَقَهُمْلَيَقُولُنَّٱللَّهُ ۖفَأَنَّىٰيُؤْفَكُونَ
yu'fakūnafa-annāl-lahulayaqūlunnakhalaqahummansa-altahumwala-in
And ifyou ask themwhocreated themthey will certainly sayAllahThen howare they deluded
43:87
وَقِيلِهِۦيَـٰرَبِّإِنَّهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِقَوْمٌۭلَّايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalāqawmunhāulāiinnayārabbiwaqīlihi
And his sayingO my LordIndeedthese(are) a people(who do) notbelieve
43:88
فَٱصْفَحْعَنْهُمْوَقُلْسَلَـٰمٌۭ ۚفَسَوْفَيَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnafasawfasalāmunwaqulʿanhumfa-iṣ'faḥ
So turn awayfrom themand sayPeaceBut soonthey will know
43:89

44:1
وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِٱلْمُبِينِ
l-mubīniwal-kitābi
By the Bookthe clear
44:2
إِنَّآأَنزَلْنَـٰهُفِىلَيْلَةٍۢمُّبَـٰرَكَةٍ ۚإِنَّاكُنَّامُنذِرِينَ
mundhirīnakunnāinnāmubārakatinlaylatinfīanzalnāhuinnā
Indeed, Werevealed itina NightBlessedIndeed, We[We] are(ever) warning
44:3
فِيهَايُفْرَقُكُلُّأَمْرٍحَكِيمٍ
ḥakīminamrinkulluyuf'raqufīhā
Thereinis made distincteveryaffairwise
44:4
أَمْرًۭامِّنْعِندِنَآ ۚإِنَّاكُنَّامُرْسِلِينَ
mur'silīnakunnāinnāʿindināminamran
A commandfromUsIndeed, We[We] are(ever) sending
44:5
رَحْمَةًۭمِّنرَّبِّكَ ۚإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-samīʿuhuwainnahurabbikaminraḥmatan
As Mercyfromyour LordIndeed, He[He](is) the All-Hearerthe All-Knower
44:6
رَبِّٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِوَمَابَيْنَهُمَآ ۖإِنكُنتُممُّوقِنِينَ
mūqinīnakuntuminbaynahumāwamāwal-arḍil-samāwātirabbi
Lord(of) the heavensand the earthand whatever(is) between both of themifyou arecertain
44:7
لَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَيُحْىِۦوَيُمِيتُ ۖرَبُّكُمْوَرَبُّءَابَآئِكُمُٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
l-awalīnaābāikumuwarabburabbukumwayumītuyuḥ'yīhuwaillāilāhalā
(There is) nogodexceptHimHe gives lifeand causes deathyour Lordand (the) Lord(of) your fathersthe former
44:8
بَلْهُمْفِىشَكٍّۢيَلْعَبُونَ
yalʿabūnashakkinfīhumbal
Naythey(are) indoubt playing
44:9
فَٱرْتَقِبْيَوْمَتَأْتِىٱلسَّمَآءُبِدُخَانٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninbidukhāninl-samāutatīyawmafa-ir'taqib
Then watch(for the) Day(when) will bringthe skysmokevisible
44:10
يَغْشَىٱلنَّاسَ ۖهَـٰذَاعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌۭ
alīmunʿadhābunhādhāl-nāsayaghshā
Envelopingthe peopleThis(will be) a punishmentpainful
44:11
رَّبَّنَاٱكْشِفْعَنَّاٱلْعَذَابَإِنَّامُؤْمِنُونَ
mu'minūnainnāl-ʿadhābaʿannāik'shifrabbanā
Our LordRemovefrom usthe punishmentindeed, we(are) believers
44:12
أَنَّىٰلَهُمُٱلذِّكْرَىٰوَقَدْجَآءَهُمْرَسُولٌۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunrasūlunjāahumwaqadl-dhik'rālahumuannā
How can(there be) for themthe reminderwhen verilyhad come to thema Messengerclear
44:13
ثُمَّتَوَلَّوْا۟عَنْهُوَقَالُوا۟مُعَلَّمٌۭمَّجْنُونٌ
majnūnunmuʿallamunwaqālūʿanhutawallawthumma
Thenthey turned awayfrom himand saidOne taughta mad man
44:14
إِنَّاكَاشِفُوا۟ٱلْعَذَابِقَلِيلًا ۚإِنَّكُمْعَآئِدُونَ
ʿāidūnainnakumqalīlanl-ʿadhābikāshifūinnā
Indeed, We(will) removethe punishmenta littleindeed, you(will) return
44:15
يَوْمَنَبْطِشُٱلْبَطْشَةَٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓإِنَّامُنتَقِمُونَ
muntaqimūnainnāl-kub'rāl-baṭshatanabṭishuyawma
(The) DayWe will seize(with) the seizurethe greatestindeed, We(will) take retribution
44:16
۞ وَلَقَدْفَتَنَّاقَبْلَهُمْقَوْمَفِرْعَوْنَوَجَآءَهُمْرَسُولٌۭكَرِيمٌ
karīmunrasūlunwajāahumfir'ʿawnaqawmaqablahumfatannāwalaqad
And certainlyWe triedbefore them(the) people(of) Firaunand came to thema Messengernoble
44:17
أَنْأَدُّوٓا۟إِلَىَّعِبَادَٱللَّهِ ۖإِنِّىلَكُمْرَسُولٌأَمِينٌۭ
amīnunrasūlunlakuminnīl-lahiʿibādailayyaaddūan
ThatDeliverto me(the) servants(of) AllahIndeed, I amto youa Messengertrustworthy
44:18
وَأَنلَّاتَعْلُوا۟عَلَىٱللَّهِ ۖإِنِّىٓءَاتِيكُمبِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninbisul'ṭāninātīkuminnīl-lahiʿalātaʿlūlāwa-an
And that(do) notexalt yourselvesagainstAllahIndeed, I[I] have come to youwith an authorityclear
44:19
وَإِنِّىعُذْتُبِرَبِّىوَرَبِّكُمْأَنتَرْجُمُونِ
tarjumūnianwarabbikumbirabbīʿudh'tuwa-innī
And indeed, I[I] seek refugewith my Lordand your Lordlestyou stone me
44:20
وَإِنلَّمْتُؤْمِنُوا۟لِىفَٱعْتَزِلُونِ
fa-iʿ'tazilūnilītu'minūlamwa-in
And ifnotyou believemethen leave me alone
44:21
فَدَعَارَبَّهُۥٓأَنَّهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِقَوْمٌۭمُّجْرِمُونَ
muj'rimūnaqawmunhāulāiannarabbahufadaʿā
So he calledhis LordThatthese(are) a peoplecriminals
44:22
فَأَسْرِبِعِبَادِىلَيْلًاإِنَّكُممُّتَّبَعُونَ
muttabaʿūnainnakumlaylanbiʿibādīfa-asri
Then "Set outwith My slaves(by) nightIndeed, you(will be) followed
44:23
وَٱتْرُكِٱلْبَحْرَرَهْوًا ۖإِنَّهُمْجُندٌۭمُّغْرَقُونَ
mugh'raqūnajunduninnahumrahwanl-baḥrawa-ut'ruki
And leavethe seaat restIndeed, they(are) an army(to be) drowned
44:24
كَمْتَرَكُوا۟مِنجَنَّـٰتٍۢوَعُيُونٍۢ
waʿuyūninjannātinmintarakūkam
How many(did) they leaveofgardensand springs
44:25
وَزُرُوعٍۢوَمَقَامٍۢكَرِيمٍۢ
karīminwamaqāminwazurūʿin
And cornfieldsand placesnoble
44:26
وَنَعْمَةٍۢكَانُوا۟فِيهَافَـٰكِهِينَ
fākihīnafīhākānūwanaʿmatin
And pleasant thingsthey used tothereintake delight
44:27
كَذَٰلِكَ ۖوَأَوْرَثْنَـٰهَاقَوْمًاءَاخَرِينَ
ākharīnaqawmanwa-awrathnāhākadhālika
ThusAnd We made it (an) inherit(ance)(for) a peopleanother
44:28
فَمَابَكَتْعَلَيْهِمُٱلسَّمَآءُوَٱلْأَرْضُوَمَاكَانُوا۟مُنظَرِينَ
munẓarīnakānūwamāwal-arḍul-samāuʿalayhimubakatfamā
And notweptfor themthe heavenand the earthand notthey weregiven respite
44:29
وَلَقَدْنَجَّيْنَابَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَمِنَٱلْعَذَابِٱلْمُهِينِ
l-muhīnil-ʿadhābiminais'rāīlabanīnajjaynāwalaqad
And certainlyWe saved(the) Children of Israel(the) Children of Israelfromthe punishmentthe humiliating
44:30
مِنفِرْعَوْنَ ۚإِنَّهُۥكَانَعَالِيًۭامِّنَٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
l-mus'rifīnaminaʿāliyankānainnahufir'ʿawnamin
FromFiraunIndeed, hewasarrogantamongthe transgressors
44:31
وَلَقَدِٱخْتَرْنَـٰهُمْعَلَىٰعِلْمٍعَلَىٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnaʿalāʿil'minʿalāikh'tarnāhumwalaqadi
And certainlyWe chose thembyknowledgeoverthe worlds
44:32
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُممِّنَٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِمَافِيهِبَلَـٰٓؤٌۭا۟مُّبِينٌ
mubīnunbalāonfīhimāl-āyātiminawaātaynāhum
And We gave themofthe Signsthatin it(was) a trialclear
44:33
إِنَّهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِلَيَقُولُونَ
layaqūlūnahāulāiinna
Indeedthesesurely, they say
44:34
إِنْهِىَإِلَّامَوْتَتُنَاٱلْأُولَىٰوَمَانَحْنُبِمُنشَرِينَ
bimunsharīnanaḥnuwamāl-ūlāmawtatunāillāhiyain
Notit(is) butour deaththe firstand notwe(will be) raised again
44:35
فَأْتُوا۟بِـَٔابَآئِنَآإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntuminbiābāināfatū
Then bringour forefathersifyou aretruthful
44:36
أَهُمْخَيْرٌأَمْقَوْمُتُبَّعٍۢوَٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۚأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ ۖإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟مُجْرِمِينَ
muj'rimīnakānūinnahumahlaknāhumqablihimminwa-alladhīnatubbaʿinqawmuamkhayrunahum
Are theybetteror(the) people(of) Tubbaand thosebefore thembefore themWe destroyed themindeed, theywerecriminals
44:37
وَمَاخَلَقْنَاٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَمَابَيْنَهُمَالَـٰعِبِينَ
lāʿibīnabaynahumāwamāwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqnāwamā
And notWe createdthe heavensand the earthand whatever(is) between them(in) play
44:38
مَاخَلَقْنَـٰهُمَآإِلَّابِٱلْحَقِّوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāaktharahumwalākinnabil-ḥaqiillākhalaqnāhumāmā
NotWe created both of thembutin [the] truthbutmost of them(do) notknow
44:39
إِنَّيَوْمَٱلْفَصْلِمِيقَـٰتُهُمْأَجْمَعِينَ
ajmaʿīnamīqātuhuml-faṣliyawmainna
Indeed(the) Day of Judgment(the) Day of Judgment(is) an appointed term for themall
44:40
يَوْمَلَايُغْنِىمَوْلًىعَنمَّوْلًۭىشَيْـًۭٔاوَلَاهُمْيُنصَرُونَ
yunṣarūnahumwalāshayanmawlanʿanmawlanyugh'nīlāyawma
(The) Daynotwill availa relationfora relationanythingand nottheywill be helped
44:41
إِلَّامَنرَّحِمَٱللَّهُ ۚإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-ʿazīzuhuwainnahul-lahuraḥimamanillā
Except(on) whomAllah has mercyAllah has mercyIndeed, He[He](is) the All-Mightythe Most Merciful
44:42
إِنَّشَجَرَتَٱلزَّقُّومِ
l-zaqūmishajaratainna
Indeed(the) tree(of) Zaqqum
44:43
طَعَامُٱلْأَثِيمِ
l-athīmiṭaʿāmu
(Will be) food(of) the sinner(s)
44:44
كَٱلْمُهْلِيَغْلِىفِىٱلْبُطُونِ
l-buṭūnifīyaghlīkal-muh'li
Like the murky oilit will boilinthe bellies
44:45
كَغَلْىِٱلْحَمِيمِ
l-ḥamīmikaghalyi
Like boiling(of) scalding water
44:46
خُذُوهُفَٱعْتِلُوهُإِلَىٰسَوَآءِٱلْجَحِيمِ
l-jaḥīmisawāiilāfa-iʿ'tilūhukhudhūhu
Seize himand drag himinto(the) midst(of) the Hellfire
44:47
ثُمَّصُبُّوا۟فَوْقَرَأْسِهِۦمِنْعَذَابِٱلْحَمِيمِ
l-ḥamīmiʿadhābiminrasihifawqaṣubbūthumma
Thenpouroverhis headof(the) punishment(of) the scalding water
44:48
ذُقْإِنَّكَأَنتَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْكَرِيمُ
l-karīmul-ʿazīzuantainnakadhuq
TasteIndeed, you[you] (were)the mightythe noble
44:49
إِنَّهَـٰذَامَاكُنتُمبِهِۦتَمْتَرُونَ
tamtarūnabihikuntummāhādhāinna
Indeedthis(is) whatyou used to[about it]doubt
44:50
إِنَّٱلْمُتَّقِينَفِىمَقَامٍأَمِينٍۢ
amīninmaqāminfīl-mutaqīnainna
Indeedthe righteous(will be) ina placesecure
44:51
فِىجَنَّـٰتٍۢوَعُيُونٍۢ
waʿuyūninjannātinfī
Ingardensand springs
44:52
يَلْبَسُونَمِنسُندُسٍۢوَإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢمُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ
mutaqābilīnawa-is'tabraqinsundusinminyalbasūna
Wearing garmentsoffine silkand heavy silkfacing each other
44:53
كَذَٰلِكَوَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُمبِحُورٍعِينٍۢ
ʿīninbiḥūrinwazawwajnāhumkadhālika
ThusAnd We will marry them(to) companions with beautiful eyes(to) companions with beautiful eyes
44:54
يَدْعُونَفِيهَابِكُلِّفَـٰكِهَةٍءَامِنِينَ
āminīnafākihatinbikullifīhāyadʿūna
They will callthereinfor every (kind)(of) fruitsecure
44:55
لَايَذُوقُونَفِيهَاٱلْمَوْتَإِلَّاٱلْمَوْتَةَٱلْأُولَىٰ ۖوَوَقَىٰهُمْعَذَابَٱلْجَحِيمِ
l-jaḥīmiʿadhābawawaqāhuml-ūlāl-mawtataillāl-mawtafīhāyadhūqūnalā
Notthey will tastethereinthe deathexceptthe deaththe firstAnd He will protect them(from the) punishment(of) the Hellfire
44:56
فَضْلًۭامِّنرَّبِّكَ ۚذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلْفَوْزُٱلْعَظِيمُ
l-ʿaẓīmul-fawzuhuwadhālikarabbikaminfaḍlan
A Bountyfromyour LordThat it(will be) the successthe great
44:57
فَإِنَّمَايَسَّرْنَـٰهُبِلِسَانِكَلَعَلَّهُمْيَتَذَكَّرُونَ
yatadhakkarūnalaʿallahumbilisānikayassarnāhufa-innamā
IndeedWe have made it easyin your tongueso that they maytake heed
44:58
فَٱرْتَقِبْإِنَّهُممُّرْتَقِبُونَ
mur'taqibūnainnahumfa-ir'taqib
So watchindeed, they(too are) watching
44:59

تَنزِيلُٱلْكِتَـٰبِمِنَٱللَّهِٱلْعَزِيزِٱلْحَكِيمِ
l-ḥakīmil-ʿazīzil-lahiminal-kitābitanzīlu
(The) revelation(of) the Book(is) fromAllahthe All-Mightythe All-Wise
45:2
إِنَّفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
lil'mu'minīnalaāyātinwal-arḍil-samāwātifīinna
Indeedinthe heavensand the earthsurely (are) Signsfor the believers
45:3
وَفِىخَلْقِكُمْوَمَايَبُثُّمِندَآبَّةٍءَايَـٰتٌۭلِّقَوْمٍۢيُوقِنُونَ
yūqinūnaliqawmināyātundābbatinminyabuthuwamākhalqikumwafī
And inyour creationand whatHe dispersesof(the) moving creatures(are) Signsfor a peoplewho are certain
45:4
وَٱخْتِلَـٰفِٱلَّيْلِوَٱلنَّهَارِوَمَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمِنرِّزْقٍۢفَأَحْيَابِهِٱلْأَرْضَبَعْدَمَوْتِهَاوَتَصْرِيفِٱلرِّيَـٰحِءَايَـٰتٌۭلِّقَوْمٍۢيَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnaliqawmināyātunl-riyāḥiwataṣrīfimawtihābaʿdal-arḍabihifa-aḥyāriz'qinminl-samāiminal-lahuanzalawamāwal-nahārial-layliwa-ikh'tilāfi
And (in the) alternation(of) the nightand the dayand whatAllah sends downAllah sends downfromthe skyof(the) provisionand gives lifethereby(to) the earthafterits deathand (in) directing(the) winds(are) Signsfor a peoplewho reason
45:5
تِلْكَءَايَـٰتُٱللَّهِنَتْلُوهَاعَلَيْكَبِٱلْحَقِّ ۖفَبِأَىِّحَدِيثٍۭبَعْدَٱللَّهِوَءَايَـٰتِهِۦيُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnawaāyātihil-lahibaʿdaḥadīthinfabi-ayyibil-ḥaqiʿalaykanatlūhāl-lahiāyātutil'ka
These(are the) Verses(of) AllahWe recite themto youin truthThen in whatstatementafterAllahand His Verseswill they believe
45:6
وَيْلٌۭلِّكُلِّأَفَّاكٍأَثِيمٍۢ
athīminaffākinlikulliwaylun
Woeto everyliarsinful
45:7
يَسْمَعُءَايَـٰتِٱللَّهِتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِثُمَّيُصِرُّمُسْتَكْبِرًۭاكَأَنلَّمْيَسْمَعْهَا ۖفَبَشِّرْهُبِعَذَابٍأَلِيمٍۢ
alīminbiʿadhābinfabashir'huyasmaʿhālamka-anmus'takbiranyuṣirruthummaʿalayhitut'lāl-lahiāyātiyasmaʿu
Who hears(the) Verses(of) Allahrecitedto himthenpersistsarrogantlyas ifnothe heard themSo give him tidings(of) a punishmentpainful
45:8
وَإِذَاعَلِمَمِنْءَايَـٰتِنَاشَيْـًٔاٱتَّخَذَهَاهُزُوًا ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَهُمْعَذَابٌۭمُّهِينٌۭ
muhīnunʿadhābunlahumulāikahuzuwanittakhadhahāshayanāyātināminʿalimawa-idhā
And whenhe knowsofOur Versesanythinghe takes them(in) ridiculeThose for them(is) a punishmenthumiliating
45:9
مِّنوَرَآئِهِمْجَهَنَّمُ ۖوَلَايُغْنِىعَنْهُممَّاكَسَبُوا۟شَيْـًۭٔاوَلَامَاٱتَّخَذُوا۟مِندُونِٱللَّهِأَوْلِيَآءَ ۖوَلَهُمْعَذَابٌعَظِيمٌ
ʿaẓīmunʿadhābunwalahumawliyāal-lahidūniminittakhadhūmāwalāshayankasabūmāʿanhumyugh'nīwalājahannamuwarāihimmin
Before themBefore them(is) Helland notwill availthemwhatthey had earnedanythingand notwhatthey had takenbesidesbesidesAllah(as) protectorsAnd for them(is) a punishmentgreat
45:10
هَـٰذَاهُدًۭى ۖوَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِرَبِّهِمْلَهُمْعَذَابٌۭمِّنرِّجْزٍأَلِيمٌ
alīmunrij'zinminʿadhābunlahumrabbihimbiāyātikafarūwa-alladhīnahudanhādhā
This(is) guidanceAnd those whodisbelievein (the) Verses(of) their Lordfor them(is) a punishmentoffilthpainful
45:11
۞ ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىسَخَّرَلَكُمُٱلْبَحْرَلِتَجْرِىَٱلْفُلْكُفِيهِبِأَمْرِهِۦوَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟مِنفَضْلِهِۦوَلَعَلَّكُمْتَشْكُرُونَ
tashkurūnawalaʿallakumfaḍlihiminwalitabtaghūbi-amrihifīhil-ful'kulitajriyal-baḥralakumusakharaalladhīal-lahu
Allah(is) the One Whosubjectedto youthe seathat may sailthe shipsthereinby His Commandand that you may seekofHis Bountyand that you maygive thanks
45:12
وَسَخَّرَلَكُممَّافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِجَمِيعًۭامِّنْهُ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkarūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikafīinnamin'hujamīʿanl-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmālakumwasakhara
And He has subjectedto youwhatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earth allfrom HimIndeedinthatsurely are Signsfor a peoplewho give thought
45:13
قُللِّلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟يَغْفِرُوا۟لِلَّذِينَلَايَرْجُونَأَيَّامَٱللَّهِلِيَجْزِىَقَوْمًۢابِمَاكَانُوا۟يَكْسِبُونَ
yaksibūnakānūbimāqawmanliyajziyal-lahiayyāmayarjūnalālilladhīnayaghfirūāmanūlilladhīnaqul
Sayto those whobelieve(to) forgivethose who(do) nothope(for the) days(of) Allahthat He may recompensea peoplefor whatthey used toearn
45:14
مَنْعَمِلَصَـٰلِحًۭافَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖوَمَنْأَسَآءَفَعَلَيْهَا ۖثُمَّإِلَىٰرَبِّكُمْتُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūnarabbikumilāthummafaʿalayhāasāawamanfalinafsihiṣāliḥanʿamilaman
Whoeverdoesa righteous deedthen it is for his souland whoeverdoes evilthen it (is) against itThentoyour Lordyou will be returned
45:15
وَلَقَدْءَاتَيْنَابَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَٱلْكِتَـٰبَوَٱلْحُكْمَوَٱلنُّبُوَّةَوَرَزَقْنَـٰهُممِّنَٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِوَفَضَّلْنَـٰهُمْعَلَىٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnaʿalāwafaḍḍalnāhuml-ṭayibātiminawarazaqnāhumwal-nubuwatawal-ḥuk'mal-kitābais'rāīlabanīātaynāwalaqad
And certainlyWe gave(the) Children of Israel(the) Children of Israelthe Bookand the wisdomand the Prophethoodand We provided themofthe good thingsand We preferred themoverthe worlds
45:16
وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢمِّنَٱلْأَمْرِ ۖفَمَاٱخْتَلَفُوٓا۟إِلَّامِنۢبَعْدِمَاجَآءَهُمُٱلْعِلْمُبَغْيًۢابَيْنَهُمْ ۚإِنَّرَبَّكَيَقْضِىبَيْنَهُمْيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِفِيمَاكَانُوا۟فِيهِيَخْتَلِفُونَ
yakhtalifūnafīhikānūfīmāl-qiyāmatiyawmabaynahumyaqḍīrabbakainnabaynahumbaghyanl-ʿil'mujāahumumābaʿdiminillāikh'talafūfamāl-amriminabayyinātinwaātaynāhum
And We gave themclear proofsofthe matterAnd notthey differedexceptafterafter[what]came to themthe knowledge(out of) envybetween themselvesIndeedyour Lordwill judgebetween them(on the) Day(of) the Resurrectionabout whatthey used tothereindiffer
45:17
ثُمَّجَعَلْنَـٰكَعَلَىٰشَرِيعَةٍۢمِّنَٱلْأَمْرِفَٱتَّبِعْهَاوَلَاتَتَّبِعْأَهْوَآءَٱلَّذِينَلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāalladhīnaahwāatattabiʿwalāfa-ittabiʿ'hāl-amriminasharīʿatinʿalājaʿalnākathumma
ThenWe put youonan ordained wayofthe matterso follow itand (do) notfollow(the) desires(of) those who(do) notknow
45:18
إِنَّهُمْلَنيُغْنُوا۟عَنكَمِنَٱللَّهِشَيْـًۭٔا ۚوَإِنَّٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَبَعْضُهُمْأَوْلِيَآءُبَعْضٍۢ ۖوَٱللَّهُوَلِىُّٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
l-mutaqīnawaliyyuwal-lahubaʿḍinawliyāubaʿḍuhuml-ẓālimīnawa-innashayanl-lahiminaʿankayugh'nūlaninnahum
Indeed, theyneverwill availyouagainstAllah(in) anythingAnd indeedthe wrongdoerssome of them(are) allies(of) othersand Allah(is the) Protector(of) the righteous
45:19
هَـٰذَابَصَـٰٓئِرُلِلنَّاسِوَهُدًۭىوَرَحْمَةٌۭلِّقَوْمٍۢيُوقِنُونَ
yūqinūnaliqawminwaraḥmatunwahudanlilnnāsibaṣāiruhādhā
This(is) enlightenmentfor mankindand guidanceand mercyfor a peoplewho are certain
45:20
أَمْحَسِبَٱلَّذِينَٱجْتَرَحُوا۟ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِأَننَّجْعَلَهُمْكَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِسَوَآءًۭمَّحْيَاهُمْوَمَمَاتُهُمْ ۚسَآءَمَايَحْكُمُونَ
yaḥkumūnamāsāawamamātuhummaḥyāhumsawāanl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūka-alladhīnanajʿalahumanl-sayiātiij'taraḥūalladhīnaḥasibaam
Dothinkthose whocommitevil deedsthatWe will make themlike those whobelievedand didrighteous deedsequal(in) their lifeand their deathEvil iswhatthey judge
45:21
وَخَلَقَٱللَّهُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَبِٱلْحَقِّوَلِتُجْزَىٰكُلُّنَفْسٍۭبِمَاكَسَبَتْوَهُمْلَايُظْلَمُونَ
yuẓ'lamūnalāwahumkasabatbimānafsinkulluwalituj'zābil-ḥaqiwal-arḍal-samāwātil-lahuwakhalaqa
And Allah createdAnd Allah createdthe heavensand the earthin truthand that may be recompensedeverysoulfor whatit has earnedand theywill not be wrongedwill not be wronged
45:22
أَفَرَءَيْتَمَنِٱتَّخَذَإِلَـٰهَهُۥهَوَىٰهُوَأَضَلَّهُٱللَّهُعَلَىٰعِلْمٍۢوَخَتَمَعَلَىٰسَمْعِهِۦوَقَلْبِهِۦوَجَعَلَعَلَىٰبَصَرِهِۦغِشَـٰوَةًۭفَمَنيَهْدِيهِمِنۢبَعْدِٱللَّهِ ۚأَفَلَاتَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkarūnaafalāl-lahibaʿdiminyahdīhifamanghishāwatanbaṣarihiʿalāwajaʿalawaqalbihisamʿihiʿalāwakhatamaʿil'minʿalāl-lahuwa-aḍallahuhawāhuilāhahuittakhadhamaniafara-ayta
Have you seen(he) whotakes(as) his godhis desireand Allah lets him go astrayand Allah lets him go astrayknowinglyknowinglyand He sets a sealuponhis hearingand his heartand putsoverhis visiona veilThen whowill guide himafterafterAllahThen will notyou receive admonition
45:23
وَقَالُوا۟مَاهِىَإِلَّاحَيَاتُنَاٱلدُّنْيَانَمُوتُوَنَحْيَاوَمَايُهْلِكُنَآإِلَّاٱلدَّهْرُ ۚوَمَالَهُمبِذَٰلِكَمِنْعِلْمٍ ۖإِنْهُمْإِلَّايَظُنُّونَ
yaẓunnūnaillāhuminʿil'minminbidhālikalahumwamāl-dahruillāyuh'likunāwamāwanaḥyānamūtul-dun'yāḥayātunāillāhiyamāwaqālū
And they sayNotit(is) butour life(of) the worldwe dieand we liveand notdestroys usexceptthe timeAnd notfor themof thatanyknowledgenotthey(do) butguess
45:24
وَإِذَاتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِمْءَايَـٰتُنَابَيِّنَـٰتٍۢمَّاكَانَحُجَّتَهُمْإِلَّآأَنقَالُوا۟ٱئْتُوا۟بِـَٔابَآئِنَآإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntuminbiābāināi'tūqālūanillāḥujjatahumkānamābayyinātināyātunāʿalayhimtut'lāwa-idhā
And whenare recitedto themOur Versesclearnotistheir argumentexceptthatthey sayBringour forefathersifyou aretruthful
45:25
قُلِٱللَّهُيُحْيِيكُمْثُمَّيُمِيتُكُمْثُمَّيَجْمَعُكُمْإِلَىٰيَوْمِٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِلَارَيْبَفِيهِوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَٱلنَّاسِلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāl-nāsiaktharawalākinnafīhiraybalāl-qiyāmatiyawmiilāyajmaʿukumthummayumītukumthummayuḥ'yīkuml-lahuquli
SayAllahgives you lifethencauses you to diethenHe will gather youto(the) Day(of) the Resurrectionnodoubtabout itButmost(of) the people(do) notknow
45:26
وَلِلَّهِمُلْكُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚوَيَوْمَتَقُومُٱلسَّاعَةُيَوْمَئِذٍۢيَخْسَرُٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ
l-mub'ṭilūnayakhsaruyawma-idhinl-sāʿatutaqūmuwayawmawal-arḍil-samāwātimul'kuwalillahi
And for Allah(is the) dominion(of) the heavensand the earthand (the) Dayis establishedthe Hourthat Daywill losethe falsifiers
45:27
وَتَرَىٰكُلَّأُمَّةٍۢجَاثِيَةًۭ ۚكُلُّأُمَّةٍۢتُدْعَىٰٓإِلَىٰكِتَـٰبِهَاٱلْيَوْمَتُجْزَوْنَمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntummātuj'zawnal-yawmakitābihāilātud'ʿāummatinkullujāthiyatanummatinkullawatarā
And you will seeeverynationkneelingEverynationwill be calledtoits recordTodayyou will be recompensed(for) whatyou used todo
45:28
هَـٰذَاكِتَـٰبُنَايَنطِقُعَلَيْكُمبِٱلْحَقِّ ۚإِنَّاكُنَّانَسْتَنسِخُمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntummānastansikhukunnāinnābil-ḥaqiʿalaykumyanṭiqukitābunāhādhā
ThisOur Recordspeaksabout youin truthIndeed, We[We] used totranscribewhatyou used todo
45:29
فَأَمَّاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِفَيُدْخِلُهُمْرَبُّهُمْفِىرَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلْفَوْزُٱلْمُبِينُ
l-mubīnul-fawzuhuwadhālikaraḥmatihifīrabbuhumfayud'khiluhuml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnafa-ammā
Then as forthose whobelievedand did[the] righteous deedswill admit themtheir Lordin(to)His mercyThat[it](is) the successclear
45:30
وَأَمَّاٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟أَفَلَمْتَكُنْءَايَـٰتِىتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْكُمْفَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْوَكُنتُمْقَوْمًۭامُّجْرِمِينَ
muj'rimīnaqawmanwakuntumfa-is'takbartumʿalaykumtut'lāāyātītakunafalamkafarūalladhīnawa-ammā
But as forthose whodisbelievedThen were notThen were notMy Versesrecitedto youbut you were proudand you becamea peoplecriminals
45:31
وَإِذَاقِيلَإِنَّوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقٌّۭوَٱلسَّاعَةُلَارَيْبَفِيهَاقُلْتُممَّانَدْرِىمَاٱلسَّاعَةُإِننَّظُنُّإِلَّاظَنًّۭاوَمَانَحْنُبِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ
bimus'tayqinīnanaḥnuwamāẓannanillānaẓunnuinl-sāʿatumānadrīmāqul'tumfīhāraybalāwal-sāʿatuḥaqqunl-lahiwaʿdainnaqīlawa-idhā
And whenit was saidIndeed(the) Promise(of) Allah(is) trueand the Hour (there is) nodoubtabout ityou saidNotwe knowwhatthe Hour (is)Notwe thinkexceptan assumptionand notwe(are) convinced
45:32
وَبَدَالَهُمْسَيِّـَٔاتُمَاعَمِلُوا۟وَحَاقَبِهِممَّاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
yastahziūnabihikānūmābihimwaḥāqaʿamilūmāsayyiātulahumwabadā
And (will) appearto them(the) evil(of) whatthey didand (will) envelopthemwhatthey used[at it](to) mock
45:33
وَقِيلَٱلْيَوْمَنَنسَىٰكُمْكَمَانَسِيتُمْلِقَآءَيَوْمِكُمْهَـٰذَاوَمَأْوَىٰكُمُٱلنَّارُوَمَالَكُممِّننَّـٰصِرِينَ
nāṣirīnaminlakumwamāl-nāruwamawākumuhādhāyawmikumliqāanasītumkamānansākuml-yawmawaqīla
And it will be saidTodayWe forget youasyou forgot(the) meeting(of) this Day of yours(of) this Day of yoursand your abode(is) the Fireand notfor youanyhelpers
45:34
ذَٰلِكُمبِأَنَّكُمُٱتَّخَذْتُمْءَايَـٰتِٱللَّهِهُزُوًۭاوَغَرَّتْكُمُٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَا ۚفَٱلْيَوْمَلَايُخْرَجُونَمِنْهَاوَلَاهُمْيُسْتَعْتَبُونَ
yus'taʿtabūnahumwalāmin'hāyukh'rajūnalāfal-yawmal-dun'yāl-ḥayatuwagharratkumuhuzuwanl-lahiāyātiittakhadhtumbi-annakumudhālikum
That(is) because youtook(the) Verses(of) Allah(in) ridiculeand deceived youthe life(of) the worldSo this Daynotthey will be brought forthfrom itand nottheywill be asked to appease
45:35
فَلِلَّهِٱلْحَمْدُرَبِّٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَرَبِّٱلْأَرْضِرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbil-arḍiwarabbil-samāwātirabbil-ḥamdufalillahi
Then for Allah(is) all the praise(the) Lord(of) the heavensand (the) Lord(of) the earth(the) lord(of) the worlds
45:36
وَلَهُٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖوَهُوَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿazīzuwahuwawal-arḍil-samāwātifīl-kib'riyāuwalahu
And for Him(is) the greatnessinthe heavensand the earthand He(is) the All-Mightythe All-Wise
45:37
