Ha Meem
46:1
تَنزِيلُٱلْكِتَـٰبِمِنَٱللَّهِٱلْعَزِيزِٱلْحَكِيمِ
l-ḥakīmil-ʿazīzil-lahiminal-kitābitanzīlu
(The) revelation(of) the Book(is) fromAllahthe All-Mightythe All-Wise
46:2
مَاخَلَقْنَاٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَمَابَيْنَهُمَآإِلَّابِٱلْحَقِّوَأَجَلٍۢمُّسَمًّۭى ۚوَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟عَمَّآأُنذِرُوا۟مُعْرِضُونَ
muʿ'riḍūnaundhirūʿammākafarūwa-alladhīnamusammanwa-ajalinbil-ḥaqiillābaynahumāwamāwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqnāmā
NotWe createdthe heavensand the earthand what(is) between both of themexceptin truthand (for) a termappointedBut those whodisbelievefrom whatthey are warned(are) turning away
46:3
قُلْأَرَءَيْتُممَّاتَدْعُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِأَرُونِىمَاذَاخَلَقُوا۟مِنَٱلْأَرْضِأَمْلَهُمْشِرْكٌۭفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ ۖٱئْتُونِىبِكِتَـٰبٍۢمِّنقَبْلِهَـٰذَآأَوْأَثَـٰرَةٍۢمِّنْعِلْمٍإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntuminʿil'minminathāratinawhādhāqabliminbikitābini'tūnīl-samāwātifīshir'kunlahumaml-arḍiminakhalaqūmādhāarūnīl-lahidūnimintadʿūnamāara-aytumqul
SayDo you seewhatyou callbesidesbesidesAllahShow mewhatthey have createdofthe earthorfor them(is) any shareinthe heavensBring mea bookfrombeforethisora traceofknowledgeifyou aretruthful
46:4
وَمَنْأَضَلُّمِمَّنيَدْعُوا۟مِندُونِٱللَّهِمَنلَّايَسْتَجِيبُلَهُۥٓإِلَىٰيَوْمِٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِوَهُمْعَندُعَآئِهِمْغَـٰفِلُونَ
ghāfilūnaduʿāihimʿanwahuml-qiyāmatiyawmiilālahuyastajībulāmanl-lahidūniminyadʿūmimmanaḍalluwaman
And who(is) more astraythan (he) whocallsbesidesbesidesAllahwhowill not respondwill not respondto himuntil(the) Day(of) Resurrectionand theyoftheir calls(are) unaware
46:5
وَإِذَاحُشِرَٱلنَّاسُكَانُوا۟لَهُمْأَعْدَآءًۭوَكَانُوا۟بِعِبَادَتِهِمْكَـٰفِرِينَ
kāfirīnabiʿibādatihimwakānūaʿdāanlahumkānūl-nāsuḥushirawa-idhā
And whenare gatheredthe peoplethey will befor themenemiesand they will beof their worshipdeniers
46:6
وَإِذَاتُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِمْءَايَـٰتُنَابَيِّنَـٰتٍۢقَالَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لِلْحَقِّلَمَّاجَآءَهُمْهَـٰذَاسِحْرٌۭمُّبِينٌ
mubīnunsiḥ'runhādhājāahumlammālil'ḥaqqikafarūalladhīnaqālabayyinātināyātunāʿalayhimtut'lāwa-idhā
And whenare recitedto themOur Versesclearsaythose whodisbelieveof the truthwhenit comes to themThis(is) a magicclear
46:7
أَمْيَقُولُونَٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۖقُلْإِنِٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥفَلَاتَمْلِكُونَلِىمِنَٱللَّهِشَيْـًٔا ۖهُوَأَعْلَمُبِمَاتُفِيضُونَفِيهِ ۖكَفَىٰبِهِۦشَهِيدًۢابَيْنِىوَبَيْنَكُمْ ۖوَهُوَٱلْغَفُورُٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-ghafūruwahuwawabaynakumbaynīshahīdanbihikafāfīhitufīḍūnabimāaʿlamuhuwashayanl-lahiminalītamlikūnafalāif'taraytuhuiniqulif'tarāhuyaqūlūnaam
Orthey sayHe has invented itSayIfI have invented itthen notyou have powerfor meagainstAllahanythingHeknows bestof whatyou utterconcerning itSufficient is HeSufficient is He(as) a Witnessbetween meand between youand He(is) the Oft-Forgivingthe Most Merciful
46:8
قُلْمَاكُنتُبِدْعًۭامِّنَٱلرُّسُلِوَمَآأَدْرِىمَايُفْعَلُبِىوَلَابِكُمْ ۖإِنْأَتَّبِعُإِلَّامَايُوحَىٰٓإِلَىَّوَمَآأَنَا۠إِلَّانَذِيرٌۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunnadhīrunillāanāwamāilayyayūḥāmāillāattabiʿuinbikumwalābīyuf'ʿalumāadrīwamāl-rusuliminabid'ʿankuntumāqul
SayNotI ama new (one)amongthe Messengersand notI knowwhatwill be donewith meand notwith youNotI followbutwhatis revealedto meand notI ambuta warnerclear
46:9
قُلْأَرَءَيْتُمْإِنكَانَمِنْعِندِٱللَّهِوَكَفَرْتُمبِهِۦوَشَهِدَشَاهِدٌۭمِّنۢبَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَعَلَىٰمِثْلِهِۦفَـَٔامَنَوَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ ۖإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايَهْدِىٱلْقَوْمَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnal-qawmayahdīlāl-lahainnawa-is'takbartumfaāmanamith'lihiʿalāis'rāīlabanīminshāhidunwashahidabihiwakafartuml-lahiʿindiminkānainara-aytumqul
SayDo you seeifit isfrom Allahfrom Allahfrom Allahand you disbelievein itand testifiesa witnessfrom(the) Children of Israel(the) Children of Israelto(the) like thereofthen he believedwhile you are arrogantIndeedAllah(does) notguidethe peoplethe wrongdoers
46:10
وَقَالَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لِلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟لَوْكَانَخَيْرًۭامَّاسَبَقُونَآإِلَيْهِ ۚوَإِذْلَمْيَهْتَدُوا۟بِهِۦفَسَيَقُولُونَهَـٰذَآإِفْكٌۭقَدِيمٌۭ
qadīmunif'kunhādhāfasayaqūlūnabihiyahtadūlamwa-idhilayhisabaqūnāmākhayrankānalawāmanūlilladhīnakafarūalladhīnawaqāla
And saythose whodisbelieveof those whobelieveIfit had beengoodnotthey (would) have preceded usto itAnd whennotthey (are) guidedby itthey sayThis(is) a lieancient
46:11
وَمِنقَبْلِهِۦكِتَـٰبُمُوسَىٰٓإِمَامًۭاوَرَحْمَةًۭ ۚوَهَـٰذَاكِتَـٰبٌۭمُّصَدِّقٌۭلِّسَانًاعَرَبِيًّۭالِّيُنذِرَٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟وَبُشْرَىٰلِلْمُحْسِنِينَ
lil'muḥ'sinīnawabush'rāẓalamūalladhīnaliyundhiraʿarabiyyanlisānanmuṣaddiqunkitābunwahādhāwaraḥmatanimāmanmūsākitābuqablihiwamin
And before itAnd before it(was the) Scripture(of) Musa(as) a guideand a mercyAnd this(is) a Bookconfirming(in) languageArabicto warnthose whodo wrongand (as) glad tidingsfor the good-doers
46:12
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَقَالُوا۟رَبُّنَاٱللَّهُثُمَّٱسْتَقَـٰمُوا۟فَلَاخَوْفٌعَلَيْهِمْوَلَاهُمْيَحْزَنُونَ
yaḥzanūnahumwalāʿalayhimkhawfunfalāis'taqāmūthummal-lahurabbunāqālūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whosayOur Lord(is) Allahthenremain firmthen nofearon themand nottheywill grieve
46:13
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْجَنَّةِخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَاجَزَآءًۢبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūbimājazāanfīhākhālidīnal-janatiaṣḥābuulāika
Those(are the) companions(of) Paradiseabiding foreverthereina rewardfor whatthey used todo
46:14
وَوَصَّيْنَاٱلْإِنسَـٰنَبِوَٰلِدَيْهِإِحْسَـٰنًا ۖحَمَلَتْهُأُمُّهُۥكُرْهًۭاوَوَضَعَتْهُكُرْهًۭا ۖوَحَمْلُهُۥوَفِصَـٰلُهُۥثَلَـٰثُونَشَهْرًا ۚحَتَّىٰٓإِذَابَلَغَأَشُدَّهُۥوَبَلَغَأَرْبَعِينَسَنَةًۭقَالَرَبِّأَوْزِعْنِىٓأَنْأَشْكُرَنِعْمَتَكَٱلَّتِىٓأَنْعَمْتَعَلَىَّوَعَلَىٰوَٰلِدَىَّوَأَنْأَعْمَلَصَـٰلِحًۭاتَرْضَىٰهُوَأَصْلِحْلِىفِىذُرِّيَّتِىٓ ۖإِنِّىتُبْتُإِلَيْكَوَإِنِّىمِنَٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
l-mus'limīnaminawa-innīilaykatub'tuinnīdhurriyyatīfīlīwa-aṣliḥtarḍāhuṣāliḥanaʿmalawa-anwālidayyawaʿalāʿalayyaanʿamtaallatīniʿ'matakaashkuraanawziʿ'nīrabbiqālasanatanarbaʿīnawabalaghaashuddahubalaghaidhāḥattāshahranthalāthūnawafiṣāluhuwaḥamluhukur'hanwawaḍaʿathukur'hanummuhuḥamalathuiḥ'sānanbiwālidayhil-insānawawaṣṣaynā
And We have enjoined(on) manto his parentskindnessCarried himhis mother(with) hardshipand gave birth to him(with) hardshipAnd (the) bearing of himand (the) weaning of him(is) thirtymonth(s)untilwhenhe reacheshis maturityand reachesfortyyear(s)he saysMy Lordgrant me (the) powerthatI may be grateful(for) Your favorwhichYou have bestowedupon meand uponmy parentsand thatI dorighteous (deeds)which please Youand make righteousfor meamongmy offspringindeedI turnto Youand indeed, I amofthose who submit
46:15
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَنَتَقَبَّلُعَنْهُمْأَحْسَنَمَاعَمِلُوا۟وَنَتَجَاوَزُعَنسَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْفِىٓأَصْحَـٰبِٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖوَعْدَٱلصِّدْقِٱلَّذِىكَانُوا۟يُوعَدُونَ
yūʿadūnakānūalladhīl-ṣid'qiwaʿdal-janatiaṣḥābifīsayyiātihimʿanwanatajāwazuʿamilūmāaḥsanaʿanhumnataqabbalualladhīnaulāika
Those(are) the onesWe will acceptfrom them(the) best(of) whatthey didand We will overlook[from]their evil deedsamong(the) companions(of) ParadiseA promisetruewhichthey werepromised
46:16
وَٱلَّذِىقَالَلِوَٰلِدَيْهِأُفٍّۢلَّكُمَآأَتَعِدَانِنِىٓأَنْأُخْرَجَوَقَدْخَلَتِٱلْقُرُونُمِنقَبْلِىوَهُمَايَسْتَغِيثَانِٱللَّهَوَيْلَكَءَامِنْإِنَّوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقٌّۭفَيَقُولُمَاهَـٰذَآإِلَّآأَسَـٰطِيرُٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
l-awalīnaasāṭīruillāhādhāmāfayaqūluḥaqqunl-lahiwaʿdainnaāminwaylakal-lahayastaghīthāniwahumāqablīminl-qurūnukhalatiwaqadukh'rajaanataʿidāninīlakumāuffinliwālidayhiqālawa-alladhī
But the one whosaysto his parentsUffto both of youDo you promise methatI will be brought forthand have already passed awayand have already passed awaythe generationsbefore mebefore meAnd they bothseek help(of) AllahWoe to youBelieveIndeed(the) Promise(of) Allah(is) trueBut he saysNot(is) thisbut(the) stories(of) the former (people)
46:17
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَحَقَّعَلَيْهِمُٱلْقَوْلُفِىٓأُمَمٍۢقَدْخَلَتْمِنقَبْلِهِممِّنَٱلْجِنِّوَٱلْإِنسِ ۖإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟خَـٰسِرِينَ
khāsirīnakānūinnahumwal-insil-jiniminaqablihimminkhalatqadumaminfīl-qawluʿalayhimuḥaqqaalladhīnaulāika
Those (are) the ones(has) proved trueagainst themthe wordamongnations(that) already passed away(that) already passed awaybefore thembefore themof(the) jinnand the menIndeed, theyare(the) losers
46:18
وَلِكُلٍّۢدَرَجَـٰتٌۭمِّمَّاعَمِلُوا۟ ۖوَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمْأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْوَهُمْلَايُظْلَمُونَ
yuẓ'lamūnalāwahumaʿmālahumwaliyuwaffiyahumʿamilūmimmādarajātunwalikullin
And for all(are) degreesfor whatthey didand that He may fully compensate them(for) their deedsand theywill not be wrongedwill not be wronged
46:19
وَيَوْمَيُعْرَضُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟عَلَىٱلنَّارِأَذْهَبْتُمْطَيِّبَـٰتِكُمْفِىحَيَاتِكُمُٱلدُّنْيَاوَٱسْتَمْتَعْتُمبِهَافَٱلْيَوْمَتُجْزَوْنَعَذَابَٱلْهُونِبِمَاكُنتُمْتَسْتَكْبِرُونَفِىٱلْأَرْضِبِغَيْرِٱلْحَقِّوَبِمَاكُنتُمْتَفْسُقُونَ
tafsuqūnakuntumwabimāl-ḥaqibighayril-arḍifītastakbirūnakuntumbimāl-hūniʿadhābatuj'zawnafal-yawmabihāwa-is'tamtaʿtuml-dun'yāḥayātikumufīṭayyibātikumadhhabtuml-nāriʿalākafarūalladhīnayuʿ'raḍuwayawma
And (the) Daywill be exposedthose whodisbelievedtothe FireYou exhaustedyour good thingsinyour life(of) the worldand you took your pleasuresthereinSo todayyou will be recompensed(with) a punishmenthumiliatingbecauseyou werearrogantinthe earthwithout[the] rightand becauseyou weredefiantly disobedient
46:20
۞ وَٱذْكُرْأَخَاعَادٍإِذْأَنذَرَقَوْمَهُۥبِٱلْأَحْقَافِوَقَدْخَلَتِٱلنُّذُرُمِنۢبَيْنِيَدَيْهِوَمِنْخَلْفِهِۦٓأَلَّاتَعْبُدُوٓا۟إِلَّاٱللَّهَإِنِّىٓأَخَافُعَلَيْكُمْعَذَابَيَوْمٍعَظِيمٍۢ
ʿaẓīminyawminʿadhābaʿalaykumakhāfuinnīl-lahaillātaʿbudūallākhalfihiwaminyadayhibayniminl-nudhurukhalatiwaqadbil-aḥqāfiqawmahuandharaidhʿādinakhāwa-udh'kur
And mention(the) brother(of) Aadwhenhe warnedhis peoplein the Al-Ahqaf and had already passed awayand had already passed away[the] warnersbefore himbefore himbefore himand after himand after himThat notyou worshipexceptAllahIndeed, I[I] fearfor youa punishment(of) a DayGreat
46:21
قَالُوٓا۟أَجِئْتَنَالِتَأْفِكَنَاعَنْءَالِهَتِنَافَأْتِنَابِمَاتَعِدُنَآإِنكُنتَمِنَٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
l-ṣādiqīnaminakuntaintaʿidunābimāfatināālihatināʿanlitafikanāaji'tanāqālū
They saidHave you come to usto turn us awayfromour godsThen bring uswhatyou threaten usifyou areofthe truthful
46:22
قَالَإِنَّمَاٱلْعِلْمُعِندَٱللَّهِوَأُبَلِّغُكُممَّآأُرْسِلْتُبِهِۦوَلَـٰكِنِّىٓأَرَىٰكُمْقَوْمًۭاتَجْهَلُونَ
tajhalūnaqawmanarākumwalākinnībihiur'sil'tumāwa-uballighukuml-lahiʿindal-ʿil'muinnamāqāla
He saidOnlythe knowledge(is) with Allah(is) with Allahand I convey to youwhatI am sentwith itbutI see youa peopleignorant
46:23
فَلَمَّارَأَوْهُعَارِضًۭامُّسْتَقْبِلَأَوْدِيَتِهِمْقَالُوا۟هَـٰذَاعَارِضٌۭمُّمْطِرُنَا ۚبَلْهُوَمَاٱسْتَعْجَلْتُمبِهِۦ ۖرِيحٌۭفِيهَاعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌۭ
alīmunʿadhābunfīhārīḥunbihiis'taʿjaltummāhuwabalmum'ṭirunāʿāriḍunhādhāqālūawdiyatihimmus'taqbilaʿāriḍanra-awhufalammā
Then whenthey saw it(as) a cloudapproachingtheir valleysthey saidThis(is) a cloudbringing us rainNayit(is) whatyou were asking it to be hastenedyou were asking it to be hasteneda windin it(is) a punishmentpainful
46:24
تُدَمِّرُكُلَّشَىْءٍۭبِأَمْرِرَبِّهَافَأَصْبَحُوا۟لَايُرَىٰٓإِلَّامَسَـٰكِنُهُمْ ۚكَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِىٱلْقَوْمَٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
l-muj'rimīnal-qawmanajzīkadhālikamasākinuhumillāyurālāfa-aṣbaḥūrabbihābi-amrishayinkullatudammiru
Destroyingeverythingby (the) command(of) its LordThen they became (such)notis seenexcepttheir dwellingsThusWe recompensethe people[the] criminals
46:25
وَلَقَدْمَكَّنَّـٰهُمْفِيمَآإِنمَّكَّنَّـٰكُمْفِيهِوَجَعَلْنَالَهُمْسَمْعًۭاوَأَبْصَـٰرًۭاوَأَفْـِٔدَةًۭفَمَآأَغْنَىٰعَنْهُمْسَمْعُهُمْوَلَآأَبْصَـٰرُهُمْوَلَآأَفْـِٔدَتُهُممِّنشَىْءٍإِذْكَانُوا۟يَجْحَدُونَبِـَٔايَـٰتِٱللَّهِوَحَاقَبِهِممَّاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
yastahziūnabihikānūmābihimwaḥāqal-lahibiāyātiyajḥadūnakānūidhshayinminafidatuhumwalāabṣāruhumwalāsamʿuhumʿanhumaghnāfamāwa-afidatanwa-abṣāransamʿanlahumwajaʿalnāfīhimakkannākuminfīmāmakkannāhumwalaqad
And certainlyWe had established themin whatnotWe have established youin itand We madefor themhearingand visionand heartsBut notavailedthemtheir hearingand nottheir visionand nottheir heartsanythingwhenthey wererejecting(the) Signs(of) Allahand envelopedthemwhatthey used to[at it]ridicule
46:26
وَلَقَدْأَهْلَكْنَامَاحَوْلَكُممِّنَٱلْقُرَىٰوَصَرَّفْنَاٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلَعَلَّهُمْيَرْجِعُونَ
yarjiʿūnalaʿallahuml-āyātiwaṣarrafnāl-qurāminaḥawlakummāahlaknāwalaqad
And certainlyWe destroyedwhatsurrounds youofthe townsand We have diversifiedthe Signsthat they mayreturn
46:27
فَلَوْلَانَصَرَهُمُٱلَّذِينَٱتَّخَذُوا۟مِندُونِٱللَّهِقُرْبَانًاءَالِهَةًۢ ۖبَلْضَلُّوا۟عَنْهُمْ ۚوَذَٰلِكَإِفْكُهُمْوَمَاكَانُوا۟يَفْتَرُونَ
yaftarūnakānūwamāif'kuhumwadhālikaʿanhumḍallūbalālihatanqur'bānanl-lahidūniminittakhadhūalladhīnanaṣarahumufalawlā
Then why (did) nothelp themthose whomthey had takenbesidesbesidesAllahgods as a way of approachgods as a way of approachNaythey were lostfrom themAnd that(was) their falsehoodand whatthey wereinventing
46:28
وَإِذْصَرَفْنَآإِلَيْكَنَفَرًۭامِّنَٱلْجِنِّيَسْتَمِعُونَٱلْقُرْءَانَفَلَمَّاحَضَرُوهُقَالُوٓا۟أَنصِتُوا۟ ۖفَلَمَّاقُضِىَوَلَّوْا۟إِلَىٰقَوْمِهِممُّنذِرِينَ
mundhirīnaqawmihimilāwallawquḍiyafalammāanṣitūqālūḥaḍarūhufalammāl-qur'ānayastamiʿūnal-jiniminanafaranilaykaṣarafnāwa-idh
And whenWe directedto youa partyofthe jinnlistening(to) the QuranAnd whenthey attended itthey saidListen quietlyAnd whenit was concludedthey turned backtotheir people(as) warners
46:29
قَالُوا۟يَـٰقَوْمَنَآإِنَّاسَمِعْنَاكِتَـٰبًاأُنزِلَمِنۢبَعْدِمُوسَىٰمُصَدِّقًۭالِّمَابَيْنَيَدَيْهِيَهْدِىٓإِلَىٱلْحَقِّوَإِلَىٰطَرِيقٍۢمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
mus'taqīminṭarīqinwa-ilāl-ḥaqiilāyahdīyadayhibaynalimāmuṣaddiqanmūsābaʿdiminunzilakitābansamiʿ'nāinnāyāqawmanāqālū
They saidO our peopleIndeed, we[we] have hearda BookrevealedafterafterMusaconfirmingwhat(was) before it(was) before itguidingtothe truthand toa PathStraight
46:30
يَـٰقَوْمَنَآأَجِيبُوا۟دَاعِىَٱللَّهِوَءَامِنُوا۟بِهِۦيَغْفِرْلَكُممِّنذُنُوبِكُمْوَيُجِرْكُممِّنْعَذَابٍأَلِيمٍۢ
alīminʿadhābinminwayujir'kumdhunūbikumminlakumyaghfirbihiwaāminūl-lahidāʿiyaajībūyāqawmanā
O our peopleRespond(to the) caller(of) Allahand believein himHe will forgivefor youofyour sinsand will protect youfroma punishmentpainful
46:31
وَمَنلَّايُجِبْدَاعِىَٱللَّهِفَلَيْسَبِمُعْجِزٍۢفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَلَيْسَلَهُۥمِندُونِهِۦٓأَوْلِيَآءُ ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۢمُّبِينٍ
mubīninḍalālinfīulāikaawliyāudūnihiminlahuwalaysal-arḍifībimuʿ'jizinfalaysal-lahidāʿiyayujiblāwaman
And whoever(does) notrespond(to the) caller(of) Allahthen nothe can escapeinthe earthand notfor himbesides Himbesides HimprotectorsThose(are) inerrorclear
46:32
أَوَلَمْيَرَوْا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَلَمْيَعْىَبِخَلْقِهِنَّبِقَـٰدِرٍعَلَىٰٓأَنيُحْـِۧىَٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۚبَلَىٰٓإِنَّهُۥعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrunshayinkulliʿalāinnahubalāl-mawtāyuḥ'yiyaanʿalābiqādirinbikhalqihinnayaʿyawalamwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqaalladhīl-lahaannayarawawalam
Do notthey seethatAllah(is) the One Whocreatedthe heavensand the earthand (was) nottiredby their creation(is) ableto give lifeto give lifeto give life(to) the deadYesindeed He(is) oneverythingAll-Powerful
46:33
وَيَوْمَيُعْرَضُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟عَلَىٱلنَّارِأَلَيْسَهَـٰذَابِٱلْحَقِّ ۖقَالُوا۟بَلَىٰوَرَبِّنَا ۚقَالَفَذُوقُوا۟ٱلْعَذَابَبِمَاكُنتُمْتَكْفُرُونَ
takfurūnakuntumbimāl-ʿadhābafadhūqūqālawarabbinābalāqālūbil-ḥaqihādhāalaysal-nāriʿalākafarūalladhīnayuʿ'raḍuwayawma
And (the) Dayare exposedthose whodisbelievedtothe FireIs notthisthe truthThey will sayYesby our LordHe will sayThen tastethe punishmentbecauseyou used todisbelieve
46:34
فَٱصْبِرْكَمَاصَبَرَأُو۟لُوا۟ٱلْعَزْمِمِنَٱلرُّسُلِوَلَاتَسْتَعْجِللَّهُمْ ۚكَأَنَّهُمْيَوْمَيَرَوْنَمَايُوعَدُونَلَمْيَلْبَثُوٓا۟إِلَّاسَاعَةًۭمِّننَّهَارٍۭ ۚبَلَـٰغٌۭ ۚفَهَلْيُهْلَكُإِلَّاٱلْقَوْمُٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ
l-fāsiqūnal-qawmuillāyuh'lakufahalbalāghunnahārinminsāʿatanillāyalbathūlamyūʿadūnamāyarawnayawmaka-annahumlahumtastaʿjilwalāl-rusuliminal-ʿazmiulūṣabarakamāfa-iṣ'bir
So be patientashad patiencethose of determinationthose of determinationofthe Messengersand (do) notseek to hastenfor themAs if they had(the) Daythey seewhatthey were promisednotremainedexceptan hourofa dayA notificationBut will(any) be destroyedexceptthe people the defiantly disobedient
46:35
Basmala
ٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَصَدُّوا۟عَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِأَضَلَّأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ
aʿmālahumaḍallal-lahisabīliʿanwaṣaddūkafarūalladhīna
Those whodisbelieveand turn awayfrom(the) way of Allah(the) way of AllahHe will cause to be losttheir deeds
47:1
وَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِوَءَامَنُوا۟بِمَانُزِّلَعَلَىٰمُحَمَّدٍۢوَهُوَٱلْحَقُّمِنرَّبِّهِمْ ۙكَفَّرَعَنْهُمْسَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْوَأَصْلَحَبَالَهُمْ
bālahumwa-aṣlaḥasayyiātihimʿanhumkaffararabbihimminl-ḥaquwahuwamuḥammadinʿalānuzzilabimāwaāmanūl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūwa-alladhīna
And those whobelieveand dorighteous deedsand believein whatis revealedtoMuhammadand it(is) the truthfromtheir LordHe will removefrom themtheir misdeedsand improvetheir condition
47:2
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ٱلْبَـٰطِلَوَأَنَّٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ٱلْحَقَّمِنرَّبِّهِمْ ۚكَذَٰلِكَيَضْرِبُٱللَّهُلِلنَّاسِأَمْثَـٰلَهُمْ
amthālahumlilnnāsil-lahuyaḍribukadhālikarabbihimminl-ḥaqaittabaʿūāmanūalladhīnawa-annal-bāṭilaittabaʿūkafarūalladhīnabi-annadhālika
That(is) becausethose whodisbelievefollowfalsehoodand thatthose whobelievefollow(the) truthfromtheir LordThusAllah presentsAllah presentsto the peopletheir similitudes
47:3
فَإِذَالَقِيتُمُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟فَضَرْبَٱلرِّقَابِحَتَّىٰٓإِذَآأَثْخَنتُمُوهُمْفَشُدُّوا۟ٱلْوَثَاقَفَإِمَّامَنًّۢابَعْدُوَإِمَّافِدَآءًحَتَّىٰتَضَعَٱلْحَرْبُأَوْزَارَهَا ۚذَٰلِكَوَلَوْيَشَآءُٱللَّهُلَٱنتَصَرَمِنْهُمْوَلَـٰكِنلِّيَبْلُوَا۟بَعْضَكُمبِبَعْضٍۢ ۗوَٱلَّذِينَقُتِلُوا۟فِىسَبِيلِٱللَّهِفَلَنيُضِلَّأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ
aʿmālahumyuḍillafalanl-lahisabīlifīqutilūwa-alladhīnabibaʿḍinbaʿḍakumliyabluwāwalākinmin'humla-intaṣaral-lahuyashāuwalawdhālikaawzārahāl-ḥarbutaḍaʿaḥattāfidāanwa-immābaʿdumannanfa-immāl-wathāqafashuddūathkhantumūhumidhāḥattāl-riqābifaḍarbakafarūalladhīnalaqītumufa-idhā
So whenyou meetthose whodisbelievethen strikethe necksuntilwhenyou have subdued themthen bind firmlythe bondthen eithera favorafterwardsorransomuntillays downthe warits burdensThatAnd ifAllah had willedAllah had willedsurely, He could have taken retributionfrom thembutto testsome of youwith othersAnd those whoare killedin(the) way of Allah(the) way of Allahthen neverHe will cause to be losttheir deeds
47:4
سَيَهْدِيهِمْوَيُصْلِحُبَالَهُمْ
bālahumwayuṣ'liḥusayahdīhim
He will guide themand improvetheir condition
47:5
وَيُدْخِلُهُمُٱلْجَنَّةَعَرَّفَهَالَهُمْ
lahumʿarrafahāl-janatawayud'khiluhumu
And admit them(to) ParadiseHe has made it knownto them
47:6
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟إِنتَنصُرُوا۟ٱللَّهَيَنصُرْكُمْوَيُثَبِّتْأَقْدَامَكُمْ
aqdāmakumwayuthabbityanṣur'kuml-lahatanṣurūināmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believeIfyou helpAllahHe will help youand make firmyour feet
47:7
وَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟فَتَعْسًۭالَّهُمْوَأَضَلَّأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ
aʿmālahumwa-aḍallalahumfataʿsankafarūwa-alladhīna
But those whodisbelievedestruction (is)for themand He will cause to be losttheir deeds
47:8
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّهُمْكَرِهُوا۟مَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُفَأَحْبَطَأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ
aʿmālahumfa-aḥbaṭal-lahuanzalamākarihūbi-annahumdhālika
That(is) because theyhatewhatAllah has revealedAllah has revealedso He has made worthlesstheir deeds
47:9
۞ أَفَلَمْيَسِيرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِفَيَنظُرُوا۟كَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۚدَمَّرَٱللَّهُعَلَيْهِمْ ۖوَلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَأَمْثَـٰلُهَا
amthāluhāwalil'kāfirīnaʿalayhiml-lahudammaraqablihimminalladhīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafayanẓurūl-arḍifīyasīrūafalam
Do notthey travelinthe earthand seehowwas(the) end(of) thosebefore thembefore themAllah destroyedAllah destroyed[over] themand for the disbelieversits likeness
47:10
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّٱللَّهَمَوْلَىٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَأَنَّٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَلَامَوْلَىٰلَهُمْ
lahummawlālāl-kāfirīnawa-annaāmanūalladhīnamawlāl-lahabi-annadhālika
That(is) becauseAllah(is the) Protector(of) those whobelieveand thatthe disbelievers (there is) noprotectorfor them
47:11
إِنَّٱللَّهَيُدْخِلُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِجَنَّـٰتٍۢتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖوَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟يَتَمَتَّعُونَوَيَأْكُلُونَكَمَاتَأْكُلُٱلْأَنْعَـٰمُوَٱلنَّارُمَثْوًۭىلَّهُمْ
lahummathwanwal-nārul-anʿāmutakulukamāwayakulūnayatamattaʿūnakafarūwa-alladhīnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrījannātinl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnayud'khilul-lahainna
IndeedAllahwill admitthose whobelieveand dorighteous deeds(to) Gardensflowfromunderneath itthe riversbut those whodisbelievethey enjoyand eataseatthe cattleand the Fire(will be) an abodefor them
47:12
وَكَأَيِّنمِّنقَرْيَةٍهِىَأَشَدُّقُوَّةًۭمِّنقَرْيَتِكَٱلَّتِىٓأَخْرَجَتْكَأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْفَلَانَاصِرَلَهُمْ
lahumnāṣirafalāahlaknāhumakhrajatkaallatīqaryatikaminquwwatanashadduhiyaqaryatinminwaka-ayyin
And how manyofa townwhich(was) stronger(in) strengththanyour townwhichhas driven you outWe destroyed themso nohelperfor them
47:13
أَفَمَنكَانَعَلَىٰبَيِّنَةٍۢمِّنرَّبِّهِۦكَمَنزُيِّنَلَهُۥسُوٓءُعَمَلِهِۦوَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟أَهْوَآءَهُم
ahwāahumwa-ittabaʿūʿamalihisūulahuzuyyinakamanrabbihiminbayyinatinʿalākānaafaman
Then is (he) whoisona clear prooffromhis Lordlike (he) whois made attractiveto him(the) evil(of) his deedswhile they followtheir desires
47:14
مَّثَلُٱلْجَنَّةِٱلَّتِىوُعِدَٱلْمُتَّقُونَ ۖفِيهَآأَنْهَـٰرٌۭمِّنمَّآءٍغَيْرِءَاسِنٍۢوَأَنْهَـٰرٌۭمِّنلَّبَنٍۢلَّمْيَتَغَيَّرْطَعْمُهُۥوَأَنْهَـٰرٌۭمِّنْخَمْرٍۢلَّذَّةٍۢلِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَوَأَنْهَـٰرٌۭمِّنْعَسَلٍۢمُّصَفًّۭى ۖوَلَهُمْفِيهَامِنكُلِّٱلثَّمَرَٰتِوَمَغْفِرَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّهِمْ ۖكَمَنْهُوَخَـٰلِدٌۭفِىٱلنَّارِوَسُقُوا۟مَآءًحَمِيمًۭافَقَطَّعَأَمْعَآءَهُمْ
amʿāahumfaqaṭṭaʿaḥamīmanmāanwasuqūl-nārifīkhālidunhuwakamanrabbihimminwamaghfiratunl-thamarātikulliminfīhāwalahummuṣaffanʿasalinminwa-anhārunlilshāribīnaladhatinkhamrinminwa-anhārunṭaʿmuhuyataghayyarlamlabaninminwa-anhārunāsininghayrimāinminanhārunfīhāl-mutaqūnawuʿidaallatīl-janatimathalu
A parable(of) Paradisewhichis promised(to) the righteousTherein(are) riversofwaternotpollutedand riversofmilknotchangesits tasteand riversofwinedeliciousfor (the) drinkersand riversofhoneypurifiedand for themthereinofallfruitsand forgivenessfromtheir Lordlike he wholike he who(will) abide foreverinthe Fireand they will be given to drinkwaterboilingso it cuts into piecestheir intestines
47:15
وَمِنْهُممَّنيَسْتَمِعُإِلَيْكَحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاخَرَجُوا۟مِنْعِندِكَقَالُوا۟لِلَّذِينَأُوتُوا۟ٱلْعِلْمَمَاذَاقَالَءَانِفًا ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَطَبَعَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰقُلُوبِهِمْوَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟أَهْوَآءَهُمْ
ahwāahumwa-ittabaʿūqulūbihimʿalāl-lahuṭabaʿaalladhīnaulāikaānifanqālamādhāl-ʿil'maūtūlilladhīnaqālūʿindikaminkharajūidhāḥattāilaykayastamiʿumanwamin'hum
And among them(are some) wholistento youuntilwhenthey departfromyouthey sayto those whowere giventhe knowledgeWhat(has) he saidjust nowThose (are) the onesAllah has set a sealAllah has set a sealupontheir heartsand they followtheir desires
47:16
وَٱلَّذِينَٱهْتَدَوْا۟زَادَهُمْهُدًۭىوَءَاتَىٰهُمْتَقْوَىٰهُمْ
taqwāhumwaātāhumhudanzādahumih'tadawwa-alladhīna
And those whoaccept guidanceHe increases them(in) guidanceand gives themtheir righteousness
47:17
فَهَلْيَنظُرُونَإِلَّاٱلسَّاعَةَأَنتَأْتِيَهُمبَغْتَةًۭ ۖفَقَدْجَآءَأَشْرَاطُهَا ۚفَأَنَّىٰلَهُمْإِذَاجَآءَتْهُمْذِكْرَىٰهُمْ
dhik'rāhumjāathumidhālahumfa-annāashrāṭuhājāafaqadbaghtatantatiyahumanl-sāʿataillāyanẓurūnafahal
Then dothey waitbut(for) the Hourthatit should come to themsuddenlyBut indeedhave comeits indicationsThen howto themwhenhas come to themtheir reminder
47:18
فَٱعْلَمْأَنَّهُۥلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاٱللَّهُوَٱسْتَغْفِرْلِذَنۢبِكَوَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَوَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ۗوَٱللَّهُيَعْلَمُمُتَقَلَّبَكُمْوَمَثْوَىٰكُمْ
wamathwākummutaqallabakumyaʿlamuwal-lahuwal-mu'minātiwalil'mu'minīnalidhanbikawa-is'taghfirl-lahuillāilāhalāannahufa-iʿ'lam
So knowthat [He] (there is) nogodbutAllahand ask forgivenessfor your sinand for the believing menand the believing womenAnd Allahknowsyour movementand your resting places
47:19
وَيَقُولُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟لَوْلَانُزِّلَتْسُورَةٌۭ ۖفَإِذَآأُنزِلَتْسُورَةٌۭمُّحْكَمَةٌۭوَذُكِرَفِيهَاٱلْقِتَالُ ۙرَأَيْتَٱلَّذِينَفِىقُلُوبِهِممَّرَضٌۭيَنظُرُونَإِلَيْكَنَظَرَٱلْمَغْشِىِّعَلَيْهِمِنَٱلْمَوْتِ ۖفَأَوْلَىٰلَهُمْ
lahumfa-awlāl-mawtiminaʿalayhil-maghshiyinaẓarailaykayanẓurūnamaraḍunqulūbihimfīalladhīnara-aytal-qitālufīhāwadhukiramuḥ'kamatunsūratununzilatfa-idhāsūratunnuzzilatlawlāāmanūalladhīnawayaqūlu
And saythose whobelieveWhy nothas been revealeda SurahBut whenis revealeda Surahpreciseand is mentionedin itthe fightingyou seethose whointheir hearts(is) a diseaselookingat you a look(of) one fainting(of) one faintingfromthe deathBut more appropriatefor them
47:20
طَاعَةٌۭوَقَوْلٌۭمَّعْرُوفٌۭ ۚفَإِذَاعَزَمَٱلْأَمْرُفَلَوْصَدَقُوا۟ٱللَّهَلَكَانَخَيْرًۭالَّهُمْ
lahumkhayranlakānal-lahaṣadaqūfalawl-amruʿazamafa-idhāmaʿrūfunwaqawlunṭāʿatun
(Is) obedienceand a wordkindAnd when(is) determinedthe matterthen ifthey had been true(to) Allahsurely, it would have beenbetterfor them
47:21
فَهَلْعَسَيْتُمْإِنتَوَلَّيْتُمْأَنتُفْسِدُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِوَتُقَطِّعُوٓا۟أَرْحَامَكُمْ
arḥāmakumwatuqaṭṭiʿūl-arḍifītuf'sidūantawallaytuminʿasaytumfahal
Then wouldyou perhapsifyou are given authoritythatyou cause corruptioninthe earthand cut offyour ties of kinship
47:22
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَلَعَنَهُمُٱللَّهُفَأَصَمَّهُمْوَأَعْمَىٰٓأَبْصَـٰرَهُمْ
abṣārahumwa-aʿmāfa-aṣammahuml-lahulaʿanahumualladhīnaulāika
Those(are) the onesAllah has cursed themAllah has cursed themso He made them deafand blindedtheir vision
47:23
أَفَلَايَتَدَبَّرُونَٱلْقُرْءَانَأَمْعَلَىٰقُلُوبٍأَقْفَالُهَآ
aqfāluhāqulūbinʿalāaml-qur'ānayatadabbarūnaafalā
Then do notthey ponder(over) the Quranorupon(their) hearts(are) locks
47:24
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَٱرْتَدُّوا۟عَلَىٰٓأَدْبَـٰرِهِممِّنۢبَعْدِمَاتَبَيَّنَلَهُمُٱلْهُدَى ۙٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُسَوَّلَلَهُمْوَأَمْلَىٰلَهُمْ
lahumwa-amlālahumsawwalal-shayṭānul-hudālahumutabayyanamābaʿdiminadbārihimʿalāir'taddūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whoreturnontheir backsafterafterwhat(has) become clearto them(of) the guidanceShaitaanenticed[for] themand prolonged hopefor them
47:25
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّهُمْقَالُوا۟لِلَّذِينَكَرِهُوا۟مَانَزَّلَٱللَّهُسَنُطِيعُكُمْفِىبَعْضِٱلْأَمْرِ ۖوَٱللَّهُيَعْلَمُإِسْرَارَهُمْ
is'rārahumyaʿlamuwal-lahul-amribaʿḍifīsanuṭīʿukuml-lahunazzalamākarihūlilladhīnaqālūbi-annahumdhālika
That(is) because they[they] saidto those whohatewhatAllah has revealedAllah has revealedWe will obey youinpart(of) the matterBut Allahknowstheir secrets
47:26
فَكَيْفَإِذَاتَوَفَّتْهُمُٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُيَضْرِبُونَوُجُوهَهُمْوَأَدْبَـٰرَهُمْ
wa-adbārahumwujūhahumyaḍribūnal-malāikatutawaffathumuidhāfakayfa
Then howwhentake them in deaththe Angelsstrikingtheir facesand their backs
47:27
ذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّهُمُٱتَّبَعُوا۟مَآأَسْخَطَٱللَّهَوَكَرِهُوا۟رِضْوَٰنَهُۥفَأَحْبَطَأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ
aʿmālahumfa-aḥbaṭariḍ'wānahuwakarihūl-lahaaskhaṭamāittabaʿūbi-annahumudhālika
That(is) because theyfollowedwhatangeredAllahand hatedHis pleasureso He made worthlesstheir deeds
47:28
أَمْحَسِبَٱلَّذِينَفِىقُلُوبِهِممَّرَضٌأَنلَّنيُخْرِجَٱللَّهُأَضْغَـٰنَهُمْ
aḍghānahuml-lahuyukh'rijalananmaraḍunqulūbihimfīalladhīnaḥasibaam
Or dothinkthose whointheir hearts(is) a diseasethatneverwill Allah bring forthwill Allah bring forththeir hatred
47:29
وَلَوْنَشَآءُلَأَرَيْنَـٰكَهُمْفَلَعَرَفْتَهُمبِسِيمَـٰهُمْ ۚوَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْفِىلَحْنِٱلْقَوْلِ ۚوَٱللَّهُيَعْلَمُأَعْمَـٰلَكُمْ
aʿmālakumyaʿlamuwal-lahul-qawlilaḥnifīwalataʿrifannahumbisīmāhumfalaʿaraftahumla-araynākahumnashāuwalaw
And ifWe willedsurely, We could show them to youand you would know themby their marksbut surely, you will know themby(the) tone(of their) speechAnd Allahknowsyour deeds
47:30
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْحَتَّىٰنَعْلَمَٱلْمُجَـٰهِدِينَمِنكُمْوَٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَوَنَبْلُوَا۟أَخْبَارَكُمْ
akhbārakumwanabluwāwal-ṣābirīnaminkuml-mujāhidīnanaʿlamaḥattāwalanabluwannakum
And surely We will test youuntilWe make evidentthose who striveamong youand the patient onesand We will testyour affairs
47:31
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَصَدُّوا۟عَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِوَشَآقُّوا۟ٱلرَّسُولَمِنۢبَعْدِمَاتَبَيَّنَلَهُمُٱلْهُدَىٰلَنيَضُرُّوا۟ٱللَّهَشَيْـًۭٔاوَسَيُحْبِطُأَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ
aʿmālahumwasayuḥ'biṭushayanl-lahayaḍurrūlanl-hudālahumutabayyanamābaʿdiminl-rasūlawashāqqūl-lahisabīliʿanwaṣaddūkafarūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whodisbelieveand turn awayfrom(the) way of Allah(the) way of Allahand opposethe Messengerafterafter[what](has been) made clearto themthe guidanceneverwill they harmAllah(in) anythingand He will make worthlesstheir deeds
47:32
۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟أَطِيعُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَأَطِيعُوا۟ٱلرَّسُولَوَلَاتُبْطِلُوٓا۟أَعْمَـٰلَكُمْ
aʿmālakumtub'ṭilūwalāl-rasūlawa-aṭīʿūl-lahaaṭīʿūāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believeObeyAllahand obeythe Messengerand (do) notmake vainyour deeds
47:33
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَصَدُّوا۟عَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِثُمَّمَاتُوا۟وَهُمْكُفَّارٌۭفَلَنيَغْفِرَٱللَّهُلَهُمْ
lahuml-lahuyaghfirafalankuffārunwahummātūthummal-lahisabīliʿanwaṣaddūkafarūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whodisbelieveand turn awayfrom(the) way(of) Allahthendiedwhile they(were) disbelieversneverwill Allah forgivewill Allah forgivethem
47:34
فَلَاتَهِنُوا۟وَتَدْعُوٓا۟إِلَىٱلسَّلْمِوَأَنتُمُٱلْأَعْلَوْنَوَٱللَّهُمَعَكُمْوَلَنيَتِرَكُمْأَعْمَـٰلَكُمْ
aʿmālakumyatirakumwalanmaʿakumwal-lahul-aʿlawnawa-antumul-salmiilāwatadʿūtahinūfalā
So (do) notweakenand callforpeacewhile you(are) superiorand Allah(is) with youand neverwill deprive you(of) your deeds
47:35
إِنَّمَاٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَالَعِبٌۭوَلَهْوٌۭ ۚوَإِنتُؤْمِنُوا۟وَتَتَّقُوا۟يُؤْتِكُمْأُجُورَكُمْوَلَايَسْـَٔلْكُمْأَمْوَٰلَكُمْ
amwālakumyasalkumwalāujūrakumyu'tikumwatattaqūtu'minūwa-inwalahwunlaʿibunl-dun'yāl-ḥayatuinnamā
Onlythe life(of) the world(is) playand amusementAnd ifyou believeand fear (Allah)He will give youyour rewardsand notwill ask you(for) your wealth
47:36
إِنيَسْـَٔلْكُمُوهَافَيُحْفِكُمْتَبْخَلُوا۟وَيُخْرِجْأَضْغَـٰنَكُمْ
aḍghānakumwayukh'rijtabkhalūfayuḥ'fikumyasalkumūhāin
IfHe were to ask you for itand press youyou will withholdand He will bring forthyour hatred
47:37
هَـٰٓأَنتُمْهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِتُدْعَوْنَلِتُنفِقُوا۟فِىسَبِيلِٱللَّهِفَمِنكُممَّنيَبْخَلُ ۖوَمَنيَبْخَلْفَإِنَّمَايَبْخَلُعَننَّفْسِهِۦ ۚوَٱللَّهُٱلْغَنِىُّوَأَنتُمُٱلْفُقَرَآءُ ۚوَإِنتَتَوَلَّوْا۟يَسْتَبْدِلْقَوْمًاغَيْرَكُمْثُمَّلَايَكُونُوٓا۟أَمْثَـٰلَكُم
amthālakumyakūnūlāthummaghayrakumqawmanyastabdiltatawallawwa-inl-fuqarāuwa-antumul-ghaniyuwal-lahunafsihiʿanyabkhalufa-innamāyabkhalwamanyabkhalumanfaminkuml-lahisabīlifīlitunfiqūtud'ʿawnahāulāihāantum
Here you are thesecalledto spendin(the) way(of) Allah but among you(are some) whowithholdand whoeverwithholdsthen onlyhe withholdsfromhimselfBut Allah(is) Free of needwhile you(are) the needyAnd ifyou turn awayHe will replace you(with) a peopleother than youthennotthey will be(the) likes of you
47:38
Basmala
إِنَّافَتَحْنَالَكَفَتْحًۭامُّبِينًۭا
mubīnanfatḥanlakafataḥnāinnā
IndeedWe have given victoryto youa victoryclear
48:1
لِّيَغْفِرَلَكَٱللَّهُمَاتَقَدَّمَمِنذَنۢبِكَوَمَاتَأَخَّرَوَيُتِمَّنِعْمَتَهُۥعَلَيْكَوَيَهْدِيَكَصِرَٰطًۭامُّسْتَقِيمًۭا
mus'taqīmanṣirāṭanwayahdiyakaʿalaykaniʿ'matahuwayutimmata-akharawamādhanbikamintaqaddamamāl-lahulakaliyaghfira
That may forgivefor youAllahwhatprecededofyour sinsand whatwill followand completeHis favorupon youand guide you(to) a PathStraight
48:2
وَيَنصُرَكَٱللَّهُنَصْرًاعَزِيزًا
ʿazīzannaṣranl-lahuwayanṣuraka
And Allah may help youAnd Allah may help you(with) a helpmighty
48:3
هُوَٱلَّذِىٓأَنزَلَٱلسَّكِينَةَفِىقُلُوبِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَلِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟إِيمَـٰنًۭامَّعَإِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۗوَلِلَّهِجُنُودُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُعَلِيمًاحَكِيمًۭا
ḥakīmanʿalīmanl-lahuwakānawal-arḍil-samāwātijunūduwalillahiīmānihimmaʿaīmānanliyazdādūl-mu'minīnaqulūbifīl-sakīnataanzalaalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whosent down[the] tranquilityin(to)(the) hearts(of) the believersthat they may increase(in) faithwiththeir faithAnd for Allah(are the) hosts(of) the heavensand the earthand Allahand Allah(is) All-KnowerAll-Wise
48:4
لِّيُدْخِلَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَوَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِجَنَّـٰتٍۢتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَاوَيُكَفِّرَعَنْهُمْسَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ ۚوَكَانَذَٰلِكَعِندَٱللَّهِفَوْزًاعَظِيمًۭا
ʿaẓīmanfawzanl-lahiʿindadhālikawakānasayyiātihimʿanhumwayukaffirafīhākhālidīnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrījannātinwal-mu'minātil-mu'minīnaliyud'khila
That He may admitthe believing menand the believing women(to) Gardensflowfromunderneath themthe rivers(to) abide foreverthereinand (to) removefrom themtheir misdeedsand isthatwithAllaha successgreat
48:5
وَيُعَذِّبَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَوَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِوَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَوَٱلْمُشْرِكَـٰتِٱلظَّآنِّينَبِٱللَّهِظَنَّٱلسَّوْءِ ۚعَلَيْهِمْدَآئِرَةُٱلسَّوْءِ ۖوَغَضِبَٱللَّهُعَلَيْهِمْوَلَعَنَهُمْوَأَعَدَّلَهُمْجَهَنَّمَ ۖوَسَآءَتْمَصِيرًۭا
maṣīranwasāatjahannamalahumwa-aʿaddawalaʿanahumʿalayhiml-lahuwaghaḍibal-sawidāiratuʿalayhiml-sawiẓannabil-lahil-ẓānīnawal-mush'rikātiwal-mush'rikīnawal-munāfiqātil-munāfiqīnawayuʿadhiba
And He (may) punishthe hypocrite menand the hypocrite womenand the polytheist menand the polytheist womenwho assumeabout Allahan assumptionevilUpon them(is) a turn(of) eviland Allah's wrath (is)and Allah's wrath (is)upon themand He has cursed themand preparedfor themHelland evil(is the) destination
48:6
وَلِلَّهِجُنُودُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُعَزِيزًاحَكِيمًا
ḥakīmanʿazīzanl-lahuwakānawal-arḍil-samāwātijunūduwalillahi
And for Allah(are the) hosts(of) the heavensand the earthand Allahand Allah(is) All-MightyAll-Wise
48:7
إِنَّآأَرْسَلْنَـٰكَشَـٰهِدًۭاوَمُبَشِّرًۭاوَنَذِيرًۭا
wanadhīranwamubashiranshāhidanarsalnākainnā
Indeed, We[We] have sent you(as) a witnessand (as) a bearer of glad tidingsand (as) a warner
48:8
لِّتُؤْمِنُوا۟بِٱللَّهِوَرَسُولِهِۦوَتُعَزِّرُوهُوَتُوَقِّرُوهُوَتُسَبِّحُوهُبُكْرَةًۭوَأَصِيلًا
wa-aṣīlanbuk'ratanwatusabbiḥūhuwatuwaqqirūhuwatuʿazzirūhuwarasūlihibil-lahilitu'minū
That you may believein Allahand His Messengerand (may) honor himand respect himand glorify Himmorningand evening
48:9
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَيُبَايِعُونَكَإِنَّمَايُبَايِعُونَٱللَّهَيَدُٱللَّهِفَوْقَأَيْدِيهِمْ ۚفَمَننَّكَثَفَإِنَّمَايَنكُثُعَلَىٰنَفْسِهِۦ ۖوَمَنْأَوْفَىٰبِمَاعَـٰهَدَعَلَيْهُٱللَّهَفَسَيُؤْتِيهِأَجْرًاعَظِيمًۭا
ʿaẓīmanajranfasayu'tīhil-lahaʿalayhuʿāhadabimāawfāwamannafsihiʿalāyankuthufa-innamānakathafamanaydīhimfawqal-lahiyadul-lahayubāyiʿūnainnamāyubāyiʿūnakaalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whopledge allegiance to youonlythey pledge allegiance(to) Allah(The) Hand(of) Allah(is) overtheir handsThen whoeverbreaks (his oath)then onlyhe breaksagainsthimselfand whoeverfulfilswhathe has covenanted(with)Allahsoon He will give hima rewardgreat
48:10
سَيَقُولُلَكَٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَمِنَٱلْأَعْرَابِشَغَلَتْنَآأَمْوَٰلُنَاوَأَهْلُونَافَٱسْتَغْفِرْلَنَا ۚيَقُولُونَبِأَلْسِنَتِهِممَّالَيْسَفِىقُلُوبِهِمْ ۚقُلْفَمَنيَمْلِكُلَكُممِّنَٱللَّهِشَيْـًٔاإِنْأَرَادَبِكُمْضَرًّاأَوْأَرَادَبِكُمْنَفْعًۢا ۚبَلْكَانَٱللَّهُبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَخَبِيرًۢا
khabīrantaʿmalūnabimāl-lahukānabalnafʿanbikumarādaawḍarranbikumarādainshayanl-lahiminalakumyamlikufamanqulqulūbihimfīlaysamābi-alsinatihimyaqūlūnalanāfa-is'taghfirwa-ahlūnāamwālunāshaghalatnāl-aʿrābiminal-mukhalafūnalakasayaqūlu
Will sayto youthose who remained behindofthe BedouinsKept us busyour propertiesand our familiesso ask forgivenessfor usThey saywith their tongueswhatis notintheir heartsSayThen whohas powerfor youagainstAllah(in) anythingifHe intendsfor youharmorHe intendsfor youa benefitNayisAllahof whatyou doAll-Aware
48:11
بَلْظَنَنتُمْأَنلَّنيَنقَلِبَٱلرَّسُولُوَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَإِلَىٰٓأَهْلِيهِمْأَبَدًۭاوَزُيِّنَذَٰلِكَفِىقُلُوبِكُمْوَظَنَنتُمْظَنَّٱلسَّوْءِوَكُنتُمْقَوْمًۢابُورًۭا
būranqawmanwakuntuml-sawiẓannawaẓanantumqulūbikumfīdhālikawazuyyinaabadanahlīhimilāwal-mu'minūnal-rasūluyanqalibalananẓanantumbal
Nayyou thoughtthat(would) neverreturnthe Messengerand the believerstotheir familieseverthat was made fair-seemingthat was made fair-seeminginyour heartsAnd you assumedan assumptioneviland you becamea peopleruined
48:12
وَمَنلَّمْيُؤْمِنۢبِٱللَّهِوَرَسُولِهِۦفَإِنَّآأَعْتَدْنَالِلْكَـٰفِرِينَسَعِيرًۭا
saʿīranlil'kāfirīnaaʿtadnāfa-innāwarasūlihibil-lahiyu'minlamwaman
And whoever(has) not believed(has) not believedin Allahand His Messengerthen indeed, We[We] have preparedfor the disbelieversa Blazing Fire
48:13
وَلِلَّهِمُلْكُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚيَغْفِرُلِمَنيَشَآءُوَيُعَذِّبُمَنيَشَآءُ ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُغَفُورًۭارَّحِيمًۭا
raḥīmanghafūranl-lahuwakānayashāumanwayuʿadhibuyashāulimanyaghfiruwal-arḍil-samāwātimul'kuwalillahi
And for Allah(is the) kingdom(of) the heavensand the earthHe forgiveswhomHe willsand punisheswhomHe willsAnd isAllahOft-ForgivingMost Merciful
48:14
سَيَقُولُٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَإِذَاٱنطَلَقْتُمْإِلَىٰمَغَانِمَلِتَأْخُذُوهَاذَرُونَانَتَّبِعْكُمْ ۖيُرِيدُونَأَنيُبَدِّلُوا۟كَلَـٰمَٱللَّهِ ۚقُللَّنتَتَّبِعُونَاكَذَٰلِكُمْقَالَٱللَّهُمِنقَبْلُ ۖفَسَيَقُولُونَبَلْتَحْسُدُونَنَا ۚبَلْكَانُوا۟لَايَفْقَهُونَإِلَّاقَلِيلًۭا
qalīlanillāyafqahūnalākānūbaltaḥsudūnanābalfasayaqūlūnaqabluminl-lahuqālakadhālikumtattabiʿūnālanqull-lahikalāmayubaddilūanyurīdūnanattabiʿ'kumdharūnālitakhudhūhāmaghānimailāinṭalaqtumidhāl-mukhalafūnasayaqūlu
Will saythose who remained behindwhenyou set forthtowards(the) spoils of warto take itAllow us(to) follow youThey wishtochange(the) Words(of) AllahSayNeverwill you follow usThusAllah saidAllah saidbeforebeforeThen they will sayNayyou envy usNaythey werenotunderstandingexcepta little
48:15
قُللِّلْمُخَلَّفِينَمِنَٱلْأَعْرَابِسَتُدْعَوْنَإِلَىٰقَوْمٍأُو۟لِىبَأْسٍۢشَدِيدٍۢتُقَـٰتِلُونَهُمْأَوْيُسْلِمُونَ ۖفَإِنتُطِيعُوا۟يُؤْتِكُمُٱللَّهُأَجْرًاحَسَنًۭا ۖوَإِنتَتَوَلَّوْا۟كَمَاتَوَلَّيْتُممِّنقَبْلُيُعَذِّبْكُمْعَذَابًاأَلِيمًۭا
alīmanʿadhābanyuʿadhib'kumqablumintawallaytumkamātatawallawwa-inḥasananajranl-lahuyu'tikumutuṭīʿūfa-inyus'limūnaawtuqātilūnahumshadīdinbasinulīqawminilāsatud'ʿawnal-aʿrābiminalil'mukhallafīnaqul
Sayto those who remained behindofthe BedouinsYou will be calledtoa peoplepossessors of military mightpossessors of military mightgreatyou will fight themorthey will submitThen ifyou obeyAllah will give youAllah will give youa rewardgoodbut ifyou turn awayasyou turned awaybeforebeforeHe will punish you(with) a punishmentpainful
48:16
لَّيْسَعَلَىٱلْأَعْمَىٰحَرَجٌۭوَلَاعَلَىٱلْأَعْرَجِحَرَجٌۭوَلَاعَلَىٱلْمَرِيضِحَرَجٌۭ ۗوَمَنيُطِعِٱللَّهَوَرَسُولَهُۥيُدْخِلْهُجَنَّـٰتٍۢتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖوَمَنيَتَوَلَّيُعَذِّبْهُعَذَابًاأَلِيمًۭا
alīmanʿadhābanyuʿadhib'huyatawallawamanl-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrījannātinyud'khil'huwarasūlahul-lahayuṭiʿiwamanḥarajunl-marīḍiʿalāwalāḥarajunl-aʿrajiʿalāwalāḥarajunl-aʿmāʿalālaysa
Not isuponthe blindany blameand notonthe lameany blameand notonthe sickany blameAnd whoeverobeysAllahand His MessengerHe will admit him(to) Gardensflowfromunderneath themthe riversbut whoeverturns awayHe will punish him(with) a punishmentpainful
48:17
۞ لَّقَدْرَضِىَٱللَّهُعَنِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَإِذْيُبَايِعُونَكَتَحْتَٱلشَّجَرَةِفَعَلِمَمَافِىقُلُوبِهِمْفَأَنزَلَٱلسَّكِينَةَعَلَيْهِمْوَأَثَـٰبَهُمْفَتْحًۭاقَرِيبًۭا
qarībanfatḥanwa-athābahumʿalayhiml-sakīnatafa-anzalaqulūbihimfīmāfaʿalimal-shajaratitaḥtayubāyiʿūnakaidhl-mu'minīnaʿanil-lahuraḍiyalaqad
CertainlyAllah was pleasedAllah was pleasedwiththe believerswhenthey pledged allegiance to youunderthe treeand He knewwhat(was) intheir heartsso He sent downthe tranquilityupon themand rewarded them(with) a victorynear
48:18
وَمَغَانِمَكَثِيرَةًۭيَأْخُذُونَهَا ۗوَكَانَٱللَّهُعَزِيزًاحَكِيمًۭا
ḥakīmanʿazīzanl-lahuwakānayakhudhūnahākathīratanwamaghānima
And spoils of warmuchthat they will takeand isAllahAll-MightyAll-Wise
48:19
وَعَدَكُمُٱللَّهُمَغَانِمَكَثِيرَةًۭتَأْخُذُونَهَافَعَجَّلَلَكُمْهَـٰذِهِۦوَكَفَّأَيْدِىَٱلنَّاسِعَنكُمْوَلِتَكُونَءَايَةًۭلِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَوَيَهْدِيَكُمْصِرَٰطًۭامُّسْتَقِيمًۭا
mus'taqīmanṣirāṭanwayahdiyakumlil'mu'minīnaāyatanwalitakūnaʿankuml-nāsiaydiyawakaffahādhihilakumfaʿajjalatakhudhūnahākathīratanmaghānimal-lahuwaʿadakumu
Allah has promised youAllah has promised youspoils of warmuchthat you will take itand He has hastenedfor youthisand has withheld(the) hands(of) the peoplefrom you that it may bea signfor the believersand He may guide you(to the) PathStraight
48:20
وَأُخْرَىٰلَمْتَقْدِرُوا۟عَلَيْهَاقَدْأَحَاطَٱللَّهُبِهَا ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرًۭا
qadīranshayinkulliʿalāl-lahuwakānabihāl-lahuaḥāṭaqadʿalayhātaqdirūlamwa-ukh'rā
And othersnotyou had powerover themsurelyAllah encompassedAllah encompassedthemand isAllahoverallthingsAll-Powerful
48:21
وَلَوْقَـٰتَلَكُمُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟لَوَلَّوُا۟ٱلْأَدْبَـٰرَثُمَّلَايَجِدُونَوَلِيًّۭاوَلَانَصِيرًۭا
naṣīranwalāwaliyyanyajidūnalāthummal-adbāralawallawūkafarūalladhīnaqātalakumuwalaw
And iffight youthose whodisbelievesurely they would turnthe backsThennotthey would findany protectorand notany helper
48:22
سُنَّةَٱللَّهِٱلَّتِىقَدْخَلَتْمِنقَبْلُ ۖوَلَنتَجِدَلِسُنَّةِٱللَّهِتَبْدِيلًۭا
tabdīlanl-lahilisunnatitajidawalanqabluminkhalatqadallatīl-lahisunnata
(The established) way(of) Allahwhichpassed awaypassed awaybeforebeforeand neveryou will findin (the) way of Allahin (the) way of Allahany change
48:23
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىكَفَّأَيْدِيَهُمْعَنكُمْوَأَيْدِيَكُمْعَنْهُمبِبَطْنِمَكَّةَمِنۢبَعْدِأَنْأَظْفَرَكُمْعَلَيْهِمْ ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَبَصِيرًا
baṣīrantaʿmalūnabimāl-lahuwakānaʿalayhimaẓfarakumanbaʿdiminmakkatabibaṭniʿanhumwa-aydiyakumʿankumaydiyahumkaffaalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whowithheldtheir handsfrom youand your handsfrom themwithinMakkahafterafterthatHe gave you victoryover themAnd isAllahof whatyou doAll-Seer
48:24
هُمُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَصَدُّوكُمْعَنِٱلْمَسْجِدِٱلْحَرَامِوَٱلْهَدْىَمَعْكُوفًاأَنيَبْلُغَمَحِلَّهُۥ ۚوَلَوْلَارِجَالٌۭمُّؤْمِنُونَوَنِسَآءٌۭمُّؤْمِنَـٰتٌۭلَّمْتَعْلَمُوهُمْأَنتَطَـُٔوهُمْفَتُصِيبَكُممِّنْهُممَّعَرَّةٌۢبِغَيْرِعِلْمٍۢ ۖلِّيُدْخِلَٱللَّهُفِىرَحْمَتِهِۦمَنيَشَآءُ ۚلَوْتَزَيَّلُوا۟لَعَذَّبْنَاٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟مِنْهُمْعَذَابًاأَلِيمًا
alīmanʿadhābanmin'humkafarūalladhīnalaʿadhabnātazayyalūlawyashāumanraḥmatihifīl-lahuliyud'khilaʿil'minbighayrimaʿarratunmin'humfatuṣībakumtaṭaūhumantaʿlamūhumlammu'minātunwanisāonmu'minūnarijālunwalawlāmaḥillahuyablughaanmaʿkūfanwal-hadyal-ḥarāmil-masjidiʿaniwaṣaddūkumkafarūalladhīnahumu
They(are) those whodisbelievedand hindered youfromAl-Masjid Al-HaraamAl-Masjid Al-Haraamwhile the offering(was) preventedfromreachingits place (of sacrifice)And if not(for) menbelievingand womenbelievingnotyou knew themthatyou may trample themand would befall youfrom themany harmwithoutknowledgeThat Allah may admitThat Allah may admittoHis MercywhomHe willsIfthey had been apartsurely, We would have punishedthose whodisbelievedamong them(with) a punishmentpainful
48:25
إِذْجَعَلَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟فِىقُلُوبِهِمُٱلْحَمِيَّةَحَمِيَّةَٱلْجَـٰهِلِيَّةِفَأَنزَلَٱللَّهُسَكِينَتَهُۥعَلَىٰرَسُولِهِۦوَعَلَىٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَوَأَلْزَمَهُمْكَلِمَةَٱلتَّقْوَىٰوَكَانُوٓا۟أَحَقَّبِهَاوَأَهْلَهَا ۚوَكَانَٱللَّهُبِكُلِّشَىْءٍعَلِيمًۭا
ʿalīmanshayinbikullil-lahuwakānawa-ahlahābihāaḥaqqawakānūl-taqwākalimatawa-alzamahuml-mu'minīnawaʿalārasūlihiʿalāsakīnatahul-lahufa-anzalal-jāhiliyatiḥamiyyatal-ḥamiyataqulūbihimufīkafarūalladhīnajaʿalaidh
Whenhad putthose whodisbelievedintheir heartsdisdain (the) disdain(of the time of) ignoranceThen Allah sent downThen Allah sent downHis tranquilityuponHis Messengerand uponthe believersand made them adhere(to the) word(of) righteousnessand they weremore deservingof itand worthy of itAnd isAllahof everythingAll-Knower
48:26
لَّقَدْصَدَقَٱللَّهُرَسُولَهُٱلرُّءْيَابِٱلْحَقِّ ۖلَتَدْخُلُنَّٱلْمَسْجِدَٱلْحَرَامَإِنشَآءَٱللَّهُءَامِنِينَمُحَلِّقِينَرُءُوسَكُمْوَمُقَصِّرِينَلَاتَخَافُونَ ۖفَعَلِمَمَالَمْتَعْلَمُوا۟فَجَعَلَمِندُونِذَٰلِكَفَتْحًۭاقَرِيبًا
qarībanfatḥandhālikadūniminfajaʿalataʿlamūlammāfaʿalimatakhāfūnalāwamuqaṣṣirīnaruūsakummuḥalliqīnaāminīnal-lahushāainl-ḥarāmal-masjidalatadkhulunnabil-ḥaqil-ru'yārasūlahul-lahuṣadaqalaqad
CertainlyAllah has fulfilledAllah has fulfilledHis Messenger'svisionin truthSurely, you will enterAl-Masjid Al-HaraamAl-Masjid Al-HaraamifAllah willsAllah willssecurehaving shavedyour headsand shortenednotfearingBut He knewwhatnotyou knewand He madebesidesbesidesthata victorynear
48:27
هُوَٱلَّذِىٓأَرْسَلَرَسُولَهُۥبِٱلْهُدَىٰوَدِينِٱلْحَقِّلِيُظْهِرَهُۥعَلَىٱلدِّينِكُلِّهِۦ ۚوَكَفَىٰبِٱللَّهِشَهِيدًۭا
shahīdanbil-lahiwakafākullihil-dīniʿalāliyuẓ'hirahul-ḥaqiwadīnibil-hudārasūlahuarsalaalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Who(has) sentHis Messengerwith guidanceand (the) religionthe truethat He (may) make it prevailoverthe religionsallAnd sufficient isAllah(as) a Witness
48:28
مُّحَمَّدٌۭرَّسُولُٱللَّهِ ۚوَٱلَّذِينَمَعَهُۥٓأَشِدَّآءُعَلَىٱلْكُفَّارِرُحَمَآءُبَيْنَهُمْ ۖتَرَىٰهُمْرُكَّعًۭاسُجَّدًۭايَبْتَغُونَفَضْلًۭامِّنَٱللَّهِوَرِضْوَٰنًۭا ۖسِيمَاهُمْفِىوُجُوهِهِممِّنْأَثَرِٱلسُّجُودِ ۚذَٰلِكَمَثَلُهُمْفِىٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ ۚوَمَثَلُهُمْفِىٱلْإِنجِيلِكَزَرْعٍأَخْرَجَشَطْـَٔهُۥفَـَٔازَرَهُۥفَٱسْتَغْلَظَفَٱسْتَوَىٰعَلَىٰسُوقِهِۦيُعْجِبُٱلزُّرَّاعَلِيَغِيظَبِهِمُٱلْكُفَّارَ ۗوَعَدَٱللَّهُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِمِنْهُممَّغْفِرَةًۭوَأَجْرًاعَظِيمًۢا
ʿaẓīmanwa-ajranmaghfiratanmin'huml-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnal-lahuwaʿadal-kufārabihimuliyaghīẓal-zurāʿayuʿ'jibusūqihiʿalāfa-is'tawāfa-is'taghlaẓafaāzarahushaṭahuakhrajakazarʿinl-injīlifīwamathaluhuml-tawrātifīmathaluhumdhālikal-sujūdiathariminwujūhihimfīsīmāhumwariḍ'wānanl-lahiminafaḍlanyabtaghūnasujjadanrukkaʿantarāhumbaynahumruḥamāul-kufāriʿalāashiddāumaʿahuwa-alladhīnal-lahirasūlumuḥammadun
Muhammad(is the) Messengerof Allahand those who(are) with him(are) firmagainstthe disbelieversand mercifulamong themselvesYou see thembowingand prostratingseekingBountyfrom Allahfrom Allahand pleasureTheir mark(is) ontheir facesfrom(the) trace(of) the prostrationThat(is) their similitudeinthe TaurahAnd their similitudeinthe Injeel(is) like a seed(which) sends forthits shootthen strengthens itthen it becomes thickand it standsuponits stemdelightingthe sowersthat He (may) enrageby themthe disbelieversAllah has promisedAllah has promisedthose whobelieveand dorighteous deedsamong themforgivenessand a rewardgreat
48:29
Basmala
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟لَاتُقَدِّمُوا۟بَيْنَيَدَىِٱللَّهِوَرَسُولِهِۦ ۖوَٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَسَمِيعٌعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunsamīʿunl-lahainnal-lahawa-ittaqūwarasūlihil-lahiyadayibaynatuqaddimūlāāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believe(Do) notput (yourselves) forward before Allahbefore Allahbefore Allahand His Messengerand fear Allahand fear AllahIndeedAllah(is) All-HearerAll-Knower
49:1
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟لَاتَرْفَعُوٓا۟أَصْوَٰتَكُمْفَوْقَصَوْتِٱلنَّبِىِّوَلَاتَجْهَرُوا۟لَهُۥبِٱلْقَوْلِكَجَهْرِبَعْضِكُمْلِبَعْضٍأَنتَحْبَطَأَعْمَـٰلُكُمْوَأَنتُمْلَاتَشْعُرُونَ
tashʿurūnalāwa-antumaʿmālukumtaḥbaṭaanlibaʿḍinbaʿḍikumkajahribil-qawlilahutajharūwalāl-nabiyiṣawtifawqaaṣwātakumtarfaʿūlāāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believe(Do) notraiseyour voicesabove(the) voice(of) the Prophetand (do) notbe loudto himin speechlike (the) loudness(of) some of youto otherslestbecome worthlessyour deedswhile you(do) notperceive
49:2
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَيَغُضُّونَأَصْوَٰتَهُمْعِندَرَسُولِٱللَّهِأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَٱمْتَحَنَٱللَّهُقُلُوبَهُمْلِلتَّقْوَىٰ ۚلَهُممَّغْفِرَةٌۭوَأَجْرٌعَظِيمٌ
ʿaẓīmunwa-ajrunmaghfiratunlahumlilttaqwāqulūbahuml-lahuim'taḥanaalladhīnaulāikal-lahirasūliʿindaaṣwātahumyaghuḍḍūnaalladhīnainna
Indeedthose wholowertheir voices(in) presence(of the) Messenger of Allah (of the) Messenger of Allah those(are) the onesAllah has testedAllah has testedtheir heartsfor righteousnessFor them(is) forgivenessand a rewardgreat
49:3
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَيُنَادُونَكَمِنوَرَآءِٱلْحُجُرَٰتِأَكْثَرُهُمْلَايَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnalāaktharuhuml-ḥujurātiwarāiminyunādūnakaalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whocall youfrombehindthe private chambersmost of them(do) notunderstand
49:4
وَلَوْأَنَّهُمْصَبَرُوا۟حَتَّىٰتَخْرُجَإِلَيْهِمْلَكَانَخَيْرًۭالَّهُمْ ۚوَٱللَّهُغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunghafūrunwal-lahulahumkhayranlakānailayhimtakhrujaḥattāṣabarūannahumwalaw
And iftheyhad been patientuntilyou came outto themcertainly it would bebetterfor themAnd Allah(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
49:5
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟إِنجَآءَكُمْفَاسِقٌۢبِنَبَإٍۢفَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟أَنتُصِيبُوا۟قَوْمًۢابِجَهَـٰلَةٍۢفَتُصْبِحُوا۟عَلَىٰمَافَعَلْتُمْنَـٰدِمِينَ
nādimīnafaʿaltummāʿalāfatuṣ'biḥūbijahālatinqawmantuṣībūanfatabayyanūbinaba-infāsiqunjāakumināmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believeIfcomes to youa wicked personwith informationinvestigatelestyou harma peoplein ignorancethen you becomeoverwhatyou have doneregretful
49:6
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّفِيكُمْرَسُولَٱللَّهِ ۚلَوْيُطِيعُكُمْفِىكَثِيرٍۢمِّنَٱلْأَمْرِلَعَنِتُّمْوَلَـٰكِنَّٱللَّهَحَبَّبَإِلَيْكُمُٱلْإِيمَـٰنَوَزَيَّنَهُۥفِىقُلُوبِكُمْوَكَرَّهَإِلَيْكُمُٱلْكُفْرَوَٱلْفُسُوقَوَٱلْعِصْيَانَ ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلرَّٰشِدُونَ
l-rāshidūnahumuulāikawal-ʿiṣ'yānawal-fusūqal-kuf'railaykumuwakarrahaqulūbikumfīwazayyanahul-īmānailaykumuḥabbabal-lahawalākinnalaʿanittuml-amriminakathīrinfīyuṭīʿukumlawl-lahirasūlafīkumannawa-iʿ'lamū
And knowthatamong you(is the) Messenger of Allah(is the) Messenger of AllahIfhe were to obey youinmuchofthe mattersurely you would be in difficultybutAllahhas endearedto youthe Faithand has made it pleasinginyour heartsand has made hatefulto youdisbeliefand defianceand disobedienceThose(are) they the guided ones
49:7
فَضْلًۭامِّنَٱللَّهِوَنِعْمَةًۭ ۚوَٱللَّهُعَلِيمٌحَكِيمٌۭ
ḥakīmunʿalīmunwal-lahuwaniʿ'matanl-lahiminafaḍlan
A Bountyfrom Allahfrom Allahand favorAnd Allah(is) All-KnowerAll-Wise
49:8
وَإِنطَآئِفَتَانِمِنَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَٱقْتَتَلُوا۟فَأَصْلِحُوا۟بَيْنَهُمَا ۖفَإِنۢبَغَتْإِحْدَىٰهُمَاعَلَىٱلْأُخْرَىٰفَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ٱلَّتِىتَبْغِىحَتَّىٰتَفِىٓءَإِلَىٰٓأَمْرِٱللَّهِ ۚفَإِنفَآءَتْفَأَصْلِحُوا۟بَيْنَهُمَابِٱلْعَدْلِوَأَقْسِطُوٓا۟ ۖإِنَّٱللَّهَيُحِبُّٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ
l-muq'siṭīnayuḥibbul-lahainnawa-aqsiṭūbil-ʿadlibaynahumāfa-aṣliḥūfāatfa-inl-lahiamriilātafīaḥattātabghīallatīfaqātilūl-ukh'rāʿalāiḥ'dāhumābaghatfa-inbaynahumāfa-aṣliḥūiq'tatalūl-mu'minīnaminaṭāifatāniwa-in
And iftwo partiesamongthe believersfightthen make peacebetween both of themBut ifoppressesone of themonthe otherthen fightone whichoppressesuntilit returnsto(the) command(of) AllahThen ifit returnsthen make peacebetween themwith justiceand act justlyIndeedAllahlovesthose who act justly
49:9
إِنَّمَاٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَإِخْوَةٌۭفَأَصْلِحُوا۟بَيْنَأَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚوَٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَلَعَلَّكُمْتُرْحَمُونَ
tur'ḥamūnalaʿallakuml-lahawa-ittaqūakhawaykumbaynafa-aṣliḥūikh'watunl-mu'minūnainnamā
Onlythe believers(are) brothersso make peacebetweenyour brothersand fear Allahand fear Allahso that you mayreceive mercy
49:10
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟لَايَسْخَرْقَوْمٌۭمِّنقَوْمٍعَسَىٰٓأَنيَكُونُوا۟خَيْرًۭامِّنْهُمْوَلَانِسَآءٌۭمِّننِّسَآءٍعَسَىٰٓأَنيَكُنَّخَيْرًۭامِّنْهُنَّ ۖوَلَاتَلْمِزُوٓا۟أَنفُسَكُمْوَلَاتَنَابَزُوا۟بِٱلْأَلْقَـٰبِ ۖبِئْسَٱلِٱسْمُٱلْفُسُوقُبَعْدَٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ ۚوَمَنلَّمْيَتُبْفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
l-ẓālimūnahumufa-ulāikayatublamwamanl-īmānibaʿdal-fusūqul-s'mubi'sabil-alqābitanābazūwalāanfusakumtalmizūwalāmin'hunnakhayranyakunnaanʿasānisāinminnisāonwalāmin'humkhayranyakūnūanʿasāqawminminqawmunyaskharlāāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believe(Let) notridiculea people[of](another) peopleperhapsthatthey may bebetterthan themand (let) notwomen[of](other) womenperhapsthatthey may bebetterthan themAnd (do) notinsultyourselvesand (do) notcall each otherby nicknamesWretched isthe name(of) disobedienceafterthe faithAnd whoever(does) notrepentthen those they(are) the wrongdoers
49:11
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ٱجْتَنِبُوا۟كَثِيرًۭامِّنَٱلظَّنِّإِنَّبَعْضَٱلظَّنِّإِثْمٌۭ ۖوَلَاتَجَسَّسُوا۟وَلَايَغْتَببَّعْضُكُمبَعْضًا ۚأَيُحِبُّأَحَدُكُمْأَنيَأْكُلَلَحْمَأَخِيهِمَيْتًۭافَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ ۚوَٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَتَوَّابٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmuntawwābunl-lahainnal-lahawa-ittaqūfakarih'tumūhumaytanakhīhilaḥmayakulaanaḥadukumayuḥibbubaʿḍanbaʿḍukumyaghtabwalātajassasūwalāith'munl-ẓanibaʿḍainnal-ẓaniminakathīranij'tanibūāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believeAvoidmuchofthe assumptionIndeedsomeassumption(is) sinAnd (do) notspyand (do) notbackbitesome of you(to) othersWould likeone of youtoeat(the) flesh(of) his brotherdeadNay, you would hate itAnd fear AllahAnd fear AllahindeedAllah(is) Oft-ReturningMost Merciful
49:12
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلنَّاسُإِنَّاخَلَقْنَـٰكُممِّنذَكَرٍۢوَأُنثَىٰوَجَعَلْنَـٰكُمْشُعُوبًۭاوَقَبَآئِلَلِتَعَارَفُوٓا۟ ۚإِنَّأَكْرَمَكُمْعِندَٱللَّهِأَتْقَىٰكُمْ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَعَلِيمٌخَبِيرٌۭ
khabīrunʿalīmunl-lahainnaatqākuml-lahiʿindaakramakuminnalitaʿārafūwaqabāilashuʿūbanwajaʿalnākumwa-unthādhakarinminkhalaqnākuminnāl-nāsuyāayyuhā
O mankindO mankindIndeed, Wecreated youfroma maleand a femaleand We made younationsand tribesthat you may know one anotherIndeed(the) most noble of younearAllah(is the) most righteous of youIndeedAllah(is) All-KnowerAll-Aware
49:13
۞ قَالَتِٱلْأَعْرَابُءَامَنَّا ۖقُللَّمْتُؤْمِنُوا۟وَلَـٰكِنقُولُوٓا۟أَسْلَمْنَاوَلَمَّايَدْخُلِٱلْإِيمَـٰنُفِىقُلُوبِكُمْ ۖوَإِنتُطِيعُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَرَسُولَهُۥلَايَلِتْكُممِّنْأَعْمَـٰلِكُمْشَيْـًٔا ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌ
raḥīmunghafūrunl-lahainnashayanaʿmālikumminyalit'kumlāwarasūlahul-lahatuṭīʿūwa-inqulūbikumfīl-īmānuyadkhuliwalammāaslamnāqūlūwalākintu'minūlamqulāmannāl-aʿrābuqālati
Saythe BedouinsWe believeSayNotyou believebutsayWe have submittedand has not yetenteredthe faithinyour heartsBut ifyou obeyAllahand His MessengernotHe will deprive youofyour deedsanythingIndeedAllah(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
49:14
إِنَّمَاٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟بِٱللَّهِوَرَسُولِهِۦثُمَّلَمْيَرْتَابُوا۟وَجَـٰهَدُوا۟بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْوَأَنفُسِهِمْفِىسَبِيلِٱللَّهِ ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلصَّـٰدِقُونَ
l-ṣādiqūnahumuulāikal-lahisabīlifīwa-anfusihimbi-amwālihimwajāhadūyartābūlamthummawarasūlihibil-lahiāmanūalladhīnal-mu'minūnainnamā
Onlythe believers(are) those whobelievein Allahand His Messengerthen(do) notdoubtbut strivewith their wealthand their livesin(the) way(of) AllahThose[they](are) the truthful
49:15
قُلْأَتُعَلِّمُونَٱللَّهَبِدِينِكُمْوَٱللَّهُيَعْلَمُمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۚوَٱللَّهُبِكُلِّشَىْءٍعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunshayinbikulliwal-lahul-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmāyaʿlamuwal-lahubidīnikuml-lahaatuʿallimūnaqul
SayWill you acquaintAllahwith your religionwhile Allahknowswhat(is) inthe heavensand what(is) inthe earthAnd Allahof everything(is) All-Knower
49:16
يَمُنُّونَعَلَيْكَأَنْأَسْلَمُوا۟ ۖقُللَّاتَمُنُّوا۟عَلَىَّإِسْلَـٰمَكُم ۖبَلِٱللَّهُيَمُنُّعَلَيْكُمْأَنْهَدَىٰكُمْلِلْإِيمَـٰنِإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntuminlil'īmānihadākumanʿalaykumyamunnul-lahubaliis'lāmakumʿalayyatamunnūlāqulaslamūanʿalaykayamunnūna
They consider (it) a favorto youthatthey have accepted IslamSay(Do) notconsider a favoron me your IslamNayAllahhas conferred a favorupon youthatHe has guided youto the faithifyou aretruthful
49:17
إِنَّٱللَّهَيَعْلَمُغَيْبَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚوَٱللَّهُبَصِيرٌۢبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnabimābaṣīrunwal-lahuwal-arḍil-samāwātighaybayaʿlamul-lahainna
IndeedAllahknows(the) unseen(of) the heavensand the earthAnd Allah(is) All-Seerof whatyou do
49:18
Basmala
قٓ ۚوَٱلْقُرْءَانِٱلْمَجِيدِ
l-majīdiwal-qur'āniqaf
QafBy the Quranthe Glorious
50:1
بَلْعَجِبُوٓا۟أَنجَآءَهُممُّنذِرٌۭمِّنْهُمْفَقَالَٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَهَـٰذَاشَىْءٌعَجِيبٌ
ʿajībunshayonhādhāl-kāfirūnafaqālamin'hummundhirunjāahumanʿajibūbal
Naythey wonderthathas come to thema warnerfrom themSo saythe disbelieversThis(is) a thingamazing
50:2
أَءِذَامِتْنَاوَكُنَّاتُرَابًۭا ۖذَٰلِكَرَجْعٌۢبَعِيدٌۭ
baʿīdunrajʿundhālikaturābanwakunnāmit'nāa-idhā
What! Whenwe dieand have becomedustThat(is) a returnfar
50:3
قَدْعَلِمْنَامَاتَنقُصُٱلْأَرْضُمِنْهُمْ ۖوَعِندَنَاكِتَـٰبٌحَفِيظٌۢ
ḥafīẓunkitābunwaʿindanāmin'huml-arḍutanquṣumāʿalim'nāqad
CertainlyWe knowwhatdiminishesthe earthof themand with Us(is) a Bookguarded
50:4
بَلْكَذَّبُوا۟بِٱلْحَقِّلَمَّاجَآءَهُمْفَهُمْفِىٓأَمْرٍۢمَّرِيجٍ
marījinamrinfīfahumjāahumlammābil-ḥaqikadhabūbal
Naythey deniedthe truthwhenit came (to) themso they(are) ina stateconfused
50:5
أَفَلَمْيَنظُرُوٓا۟إِلَىٱلسَّمَآءِفَوْقَهُمْكَيْفَبَنَيْنَـٰهَاوَزَيَّنَّـٰهَاوَمَالَهَامِنفُرُوجٍۢ
furūjinminlahāwamāwazayyannāhābanaynāhākayfafawqahuml-samāiilāyanẓurūafalam
Then do notthey lookatthe skyabove them howWe structured itand adorned itand notfor itanyrifts
50:6
وَٱلْأَرْضَمَدَدْنَـٰهَاوَأَلْقَيْنَافِيهَارَوَٰسِىَوَأَنۢبَتْنَافِيهَامِنكُلِّزَوْجٍۭبَهِيجٍۢ
bahījinzawjinkulliminfīhāwa-anbatnārawāsiyafīhāwa-alqaynāmadadnāhāwal-arḍa
And the earthWe have spread it outand castthereinfirmly set mountainsand We made to growthereinofeverykindbeautiful
50:7
تَبْصِرَةًۭوَذِكْرَىٰلِكُلِّعَبْدٍۢمُّنِيبٍۢ
munībinʿabdinlikulliwadhik'rātabṣiratan
Giving insightand a reminderfor everyslavewho turns
50:8
وَنَزَّلْنَامِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۭمُّبَـٰرَكًۭافَأَنۢبَتْنَابِهِۦجَنَّـٰتٍۢوَحَبَّٱلْحَصِيدِ
l-ḥaṣīdiwaḥabbajannātinbihifa-anbatnāmubārakanmāanl-samāiminawanazzalnā
And We have sent downfromthe skywaterblessedthen We made to growtherebygardensand grain(for) the harvest
50:9
وَٱلنَّخْلَبَاسِقَـٰتٍۢلَّهَاطَلْعٌۭنَّضِيدٌۭ
naḍīdunṭalʿunlahābāsiqātinwal-nakhla
And the palms treestall for it(are) layersarranged
50:10
رِّزْقًۭالِّلْعِبَادِ ۖوَأَحْيَيْنَابِهِۦبَلْدَةًۭمَّيْتًۭا ۚكَذَٰلِكَٱلْخُرُوجُ
l-khurūjukadhālikamaytanbaldatanbihiwa-aḥyaynālil'ʿibādiriz'qan
A provisionfor the slavesand We give lifetherewith(to) a landdeadThus(will be) the coming forth
50:11
كَذَّبَتْقَبْلَهُمْقَوْمُنُوحٍۢوَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلرَّسِّوَثَمُودُ
wathamūdul-rasiwa-aṣḥābunūḥinqawmuqablahumkadhabat
Deniedbefore them(the) people(of) Nuhand (the) companions(of) Ar-Raasand Thamud
50:12
وَعَادٌۭوَفِرْعَوْنُوَإِخْوَٰنُلُوطٍۢ
lūṭinwa-ikh'wānuwafir'ʿawnuwaʿādun
And Aadand Firaunand (the) brothers(of) Lut
50:13
وَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْأَيْكَةِوَقَوْمُتُبَّعٍۢ ۚكُلٌّۭكَذَّبَٱلرُّسُلَفَحَقَّوَعِيدِ
waʿīdifaḥaqqal-rusulakadhabakulluntubbaʿinwaqawmul-aykatiwa-aṣḥābu
And (the) companions(of) the woodand (the) people(of) TubbaAlldeniedthe Messengersso was fulfilledMy Threat
50:14
أَفَعَيِينَابِٱلْخَلْقِٱلْأَوَّلِ ۚبَلْهُمْفِىلَبْسٍۢمِّنْخَلْقٍۢجَدِيدٍۢ
jadīdinkhalqinminlabsinfīhumball-awalibil-khalqiafaʿayīnā
Were We then tiredwith the creationthe firstNaythey(are) indoubtabouta creationnew
50:15
وَلَقَدْخَلَقْنَاٱلْإِنسَـٰنَوَنَعْلَمُمَاتُوَسْوِسُبِهِۦنَفْسُهُۥ ۖوَنَحْنُأَقْرَبُإِلَيْهِمِنْحَبْلِٱلْوَرِيدِ
l-warīdiḥabliminilayhiaqrabuwanaḥnunafsuhubihituwaswisumāwanaʿlamul-insānakhalaqnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe createdmanand We knowwhatwhispersto himhis souland We(are) nearerto himthan(his) jugular vein(his) jugular vein
50:16
إِذْيَتَلَقَّىٱلْمُتَلَقِّيَانِعَنِٱلْيَمِينِوَعَنِٱلشِّمَالِقَعِيدٌۭ
qaʿīdunl-shimāliwaʿanil-yamīniʿanil-mutalaqiyāniyatalaqqāidh
Whenreceivethe two receiversonthe rightand onthe leftseated
50:17
مَّايَلْفِظُمِنقَوْلٍإِلَّالَدَيْهِرَقِيبٌعَتِيدٌۭ
ʿatīdunraqībunladayhiillāqawlinminyalfiẓumā
Nothe uttersanywordbutwith him(is) an observerready
50:18
وَجَآءَتْسَكْرَةُٱلْمَوْتِبِٱلْحَقِّ ۖذَٰلِكَمَاكُنتَمِنْهُتَحِيدُ
taḥīdumin'hukuntamādhālikabil-ḥaqil-mawtisakratuwajāat
And will come(the) stupor(of) deathin truthThat(is) whatyou were[from it]avoiding
50:19
وَنُفِخَفِىٱلصُّورِ ۚذَٰلِكَيَوْمُٱلْوَعِيدِ
l-waʿīdiyawmudhālikal-ṣūrifīwanufikha
And will be blown[in]the trumpetThat(is the) Day(of) the Warning
50:20
وَجَآءَتْكُلُّنَفْسٍۢمَّعَهَاسَآئِقٌۭوَشَهِيدٌۭ
washahīdunsāiqunmaʿahānafsinkulluwajāat
And will comeeverysoulwith ita driverand a witness
50:21
لَّقَدْكُنتَفِىغَفْلَةٍۢمِّنْهَـٰذَافَكَشَفْنَاعَنكَغِطَآءَكَفَبَصَرُكَٱلْيَوْمَحَدِيدٌۭ
ḥadīdunl-yawmafabaṣarukaghiṭāakaʿankafakashafnāhādhāminghaflatinfīkuntalaqad
Certainlyyou wereinheedlessnessofthisSo We have removedfrom youyour coverso your sighttoday(is) sharp
50:22
وَقَالَقَرِينُهُۥهَـٰذَامَالَدَىَّعَتِيدٌ
ʿatīdunladayyamāhādhāqarīnuhuwaqāla
And (will) sayhis companionThis(is) what(is) with meready
50:23
أَلْقِيَافِىجَهَنَّمَكُلَّكَفَّارٍعَنِيدٍۢ
ʿanīdinkaffārinkullajahannamafīalqiyā
Throwin (to)Helleverydisbelieverstubborn
50:24
مَّنَّاعٍۢلِّلْخَيْرِمُعْتَدٍۢمُّرِيبٍ
murībinmuʿ'tadinlil'khayrimannāʿin
Forbidderof goodtransgressordoubter
50:25
ٱلَّذِىجَعَلَمَعَٱللَّهِإِلَـٰهًاءَاخَرَفَأَلْقِيَاهُفِىٱلْعَذَابِٱلشَّدِيدِ
l-shadīdil-ʿadhābifīfa-alqiyāhuākharailāhanl-lahimaʿajaʿalaalladhī
WhomadewithAllaha godanotherso throw himin(to)the punishmentthe severe
50:26
۞ قَالَقَرِينُهُۥرَبَّنَامَآأَطْغَيْتُهُۥوَلَـٰكِنكَانَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۭبَعِيدٍۢ
baʿīdinḍalālinfīkānawalākinaṭghaytuhumārabbanāqarīnuhuqāla
Will sayhis companionOur LordnotI made him transgressbuthe wasinerrorfar
50:27
قَالَلَاتَخْتَصِمُوا۟لَدَىَّوَقَدْقَدَّمْتُإِلَيْكُمبِٱلْوَعِيدِ
bil-waʿīdiilaykumqaddamtuwaqadladayyatakhtaṣimūlāqāla
He will say(Do) notdispute(in) My presenceand indeedI sent forthto youthe Warning
50:28
مَايُبَدَّلُٱلْقَوْلُلَدَىَّوَمَآأَنَا۠بِظَلَّـٰمٍۢلِّلْعَبِيدِ
lil'ʿabīdibiẓallāminanāwamāladayyal-qawluyubaddalumā
Notwill be changedthe wordwith Meand notI Amunjustto My slaves
50:29
يَوْمَنَقُولُلِجَهَنَّمَهَلِٱمْتَلَأْتِوَتَقُولُهَلْمِنمَّزِيدٍۢ
mazīdinminhalwataqūluim'talatihalilijahannamanaqūluyawma
(The) DayWe will sayto HellAreyou filledAnd it will sayAre(there) anymore
50:30
وَأُزْلِفَتِٱلْجَنَّةُلِلْمُتَّقِينَغَيْرَبَعِيدٍ
baʿīdinghayralil'muttaqīnal-janatuwa-uz'lifati
And will be brought nearthe Paradiseto the righteousnotfar
50:31
هَـٰذَامَاتُوعَدُونَلِكُلِّأَوَّابٍحَفِيظٍۢ
ḥafīẓinawwābinlikullitūʿadūnamāhādhā
This(is) whatyou were promisedfor everyonewho turns(and) who keeps
50:32
مَّنْخَشِىَٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَبِٱلْغَيْبِوَجَآءَبِقَلْبٍۢمُّنِيبٍ
munībinbiqalbinwajāabil-ghaybil-raḥmānakhashiyaman
Whofearedthe Most Graciousin the unseenand camewith a heartreturning
50:33
ٱدْخُلُوهَابِسَلَـٰمٍۢ ۖذَٰلِكَيَوْمُٱلْخُلُودِ
l-khulūdiyawmudhālikabisalāminud'khulūhā
Enter itin peaceThat(is) a Day(of) Eternity
50:34
لَهُممَّايَشَآءُونَفِيهَاوَلَدَيْنَامَزِيدٌۭ
mazīdunwaladaynāfīhāyashāūnamālahum
For themwhateverthey wishthereinand with Us(is) more
50:35
وَكَمْأَهْلَكْنَاقَبْلَهُممِّنقَرْنٍهُمْأَشَدُّمِنْهُمبَطْشًۭافَنَقَّبُوا۟فِىٱلْبِلَـٰدِهَلْمِنمَّحِيصٍ
maḥīṣinminhall-bilādifīfanaqqabūbaṭshanmin'humashadduhumqarninminqablahumahlaknāwakam
And how manyWe destroyedbefore themofa generationthey(were) strongerthan them(in) powerso they exploredthroughoutthe landsIs (there)anyplace of escape
50:36
إِنَّفِىذَٰلِكَلَذِكْرَىٰلِمَنكَانَلَهُۥقَلْبٌأَوْأَلْقَىٱلسَّمْعَوَهُوَشَهِيدٌۭ
shahīdunwahuwal-samʿaalqāawqalbunlahukānalimanladhik'rādhālikafīinna
Indeedinthatsurely, is a reminderfor (one) whois for hima heartor(who) gives ear(who) gives earwhile he(is) a witness
50:37
وَلَقَدْخَلَقْنَاٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَمَابَيْنَهُمَافِىسِتَّةِأَيَّامٍۢوَمَامَسَّنَامِنلُّغُوبٍۢ
lughūbinminmassanāwamāayyāminsittatifībaynahumāwamāwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe createdthe heavensand the earthand whatever(is) between both of theminsixperiodsand (did) nottouch Usanyfatigue
50:38
فَٱصْبِرْعَلَىٰمَايَقُولُونَوَسَبِّحْبِحَمْدِرَبِّكَقَبْلَطُلُوعِٱلشَّمْسِوَقَبْلَٱلْغُرُوبِ
l-ghurūbiwaqablal-shamsiṭulūʿiqablarabbikabiḥamdiwasabbiḥyaqūlūnamāʿalāfa-iṣ'bir
So be patientoverwhatthey sayand glorify(the) praise(of) your Lordbefore(the) rising(of) the sunand beforethe setting
50:39
وَمِنَٱلَّيْلِفَسَبِّحْهُوَأَدْبَـٰرَٱلسُّجُودِ
l-sujūdiwa-adbārafasabbiḥ'hual-layliwamina
And ofthe nightglorify Himand afterthe prostration
50:40
وَٱسْتَمِعْيَوْمَيُنَادِٱلْمُنَادِمِنمَّكَانٍۢقَرِيبٍۢ
qarībinmakāninminl-munādiyunādiyawmawa-is'tamiʿ
And listen(The) Daywill callthe callerfroma placenear
50:41
يَوْمَيَسْمَعُونَٱلصَّيْحَةَبِٱلْحَقِّ ۚذَٰلِكَيَوْمُٱلْخُرُوجِ
l-khurūjiyawmudhālikabil-ḥaqil-ṣayḥatayasmaʿūnayawma
(The) Daythey will hearthe Blastin truthThat(is the) Day(of) coming forth
50:42
إِنَّانَحْنُنُحْىِۦوَنُمِيتُوَإِلَيْنَاٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīruwa-ilaynāwanumītunuḥ'yīnaḥnuinnā
Indeed, We[We][We] give lifeand [We] cause deathand to Us(is) the final return
50:43
يَوْمَتَشَقَّقُٱلْأَرْضُعَنْهُمْسِرَاعًۭا ۚذَٰلِكَحَشْرٌعَلَيْنَايَسِيرٌۭ
yasīrunʿalaynāḥashrundhālikasirāʿanʿanhuml-arḍutashaqqaquyawma
(The) Daywill splitthe earthfrom themhurryingThat(is) a gatheringfor Useasy
50:44
نَّحْنُأَعْلَمُبِمَايَقُولُونَ ۖوَمَآأَنتَعَلَيْهِمبِجَبَّارٍۢ ۖفَذَكِّرْبِٱلْقُرْءَانِمَنيَخَافُوَعِيدِ
waʿīdiyakhāfumanbil-qur'ānifadhakkirbijabbārinʿalayhimantawamāyaqūlūnabimāaʿlamunaḥnu
Weknow best[of] whatthey sayand not(are) youover themthe one to compelBut remindwith the QuranwhoeverfearsMy threat
50:45
Basmala
وَٱلذَّٰرِيَـٰتِذَرْوًۭا
dharwanwal-dhāriyāti
By those scatteringdispersing
51:1
فَٱلْحَـٰمِلَـٰتِوِقْرًۭا
wiq'ranfal-ḥāmilāti
And those carryinga load
51:2
فَٱلْجَـٰرِيَـٰتِيُسْرًۭا
yus'ranfal-jāriyāti
And those sailing(with) ease
51:3
فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَـٰتِأَمْرًا
amranfal-muqasimāti
And those distributingCommand
51:4
إِنَّمَاتُوعَدُونَلَصَادِقٌۭ
laṣādiquntūʿadūnainnamā
Indeed, whatyou are promised(is) surely true
51:5
وَإِنَّٱلدِّينَلَوَٰقِعٌۭ
lawāqiʿunl-dīnawa-inna
And indeedthe Judgment(is) surely to occur
51:6
وَٱلسَّمَآءِذَاتِٱلْحُبُكِ
l-ḥubukidhātiwal-samāi
By the heavenfull ofpathways
51:7
إِنَّكُمْلَفِىقَوْلٍۢمُّخْتَلِفٍۢ
mukh'talifinqawlinlafīinnakum
Indeed, you(are) surely ina speechdiffering
51:8
يُؤْفَكُعَنْهُمَنْأُفِكَ
ufikamanʿanhuyu'faku
Deluded awayfrom it(is he) whois deluded
51:9
قُتِلَٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ
l-kharāṣūnaqutila
Cursed bethe liars
51:10
ٱلَّذِينَهُمْفِىغَمْرَةٍۢسَاهُونَ
sāhūnaghamratinfīhumalladhīna
Those who[they](are) inflood(of) heedlessness
51:11
يَسْـَٔلُونَأَيَّانَيَوْمُٱلدِّينِ
l-dīniyawmuayyānayasalūna
They askWhen(is the) Day(of) Judgment
51:12
يَوْمَهُمْعَلَىٱلنَّارِيُفْتَنُونَ
yuf'tanūnal-nāriʿalāhumyawma
A Daytheyoverthe Firewill be tried
51:13
ذُوقُوا۟فِتْنَتَكُمْهَـٰذَاٱلَّذِىكُنتُمبِهِۦتَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
tastaʿjilūnabihikuntumalladhīhādhāfit'natakumdhūqū
Tasteyour trialThis(is) whatyou werefor itseeking to hasten
51:14
إِنَّٱلْمُتَّقِينَفِىجَنَّـٰتٍۢوَعُيُونٍ
waʿuyūninjannātinfīl-mutaqīnainna
Indeedthe righteous(will be) inGardensand springs
51:15
ءَاخِذِينَمَآءَاتَىٰهُمْرَبُّهُمْ ۚإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟قَبْلَذَٰلِكَمُحْسِنِينَ
muḥ'sinīnadhālikaqablakānūinnahumrabbuhumātāhummāākhidhīna
Takingwhattheir Lord has given themtheir Lord has given themIndeed, theywerebeforethatgood-doers
51:16
كَانُوا۟قَلِيلًۭامِّنَٱلَّيْلِمَايَهْجَعُونَ
yahjaʿūnamāal-layliminaqalīlankānū
They used tolittleofthe night[what]sleep
51:17
وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِهُمْيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
yastaghfirūnahumwabil-asḥāri
And in the hours before dawntheywould ask forgiveness
51:18
وَفِىٓأَمْوَٰلِهِمْحَقٌّۭلِّلسَّآئِلِوَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
wal-maḥrūmililssāiliḥaqqunamwālihimwafī
And intheir wealth(was the) right(of) those who askedand the deprived
51:19
وَفِىٱلْأَرْضِءَايَـٰتٌۭلِّلْمُوقِنِينَ
lil'mūqinīnaāyātunl-arḍiwafī
And inthe earth(are) signsfor those who are certain
51:20
وَفِىٓأَنفُسِكُمْ ۚأَفَلَاتُبْصِرُونَ
tub'ṣirūnaafalāanfusikumwafī
And inyourselvesThen will notyou see
51:21
وَفِىٱلسَّمَآءِرِزْقُكُمْوَمَاتُوعَدُونَ
tūʿadūnawamāriz'qukuml-samāiwafī
And inthe heaven(is) your provisionand whatyou are promised
51:22
فَوَرَبِّٱلسَّمَآءِوَٱلْأَرْضِإِنَّهُۥلَحَقٌّۭمِّثْلَمَآأَنَّكُمْتَنطِقُونَ
tanṭiqūnaannakummāmith'lalaḥaqquninnahuwal-arḍil-samāifawarabbi
Then by (the) Lord(of) the heavenand the earthindeed, it(is) surely (the) truth(just) as[what]youspeak
51:23
هَلْأَتَىٰكَحَدِيثُضَيْفِإِبْرَٰهِيمَٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ
l-muk'ramīnaib'rāhīmaḍayfiḥadīthuatākahal
Hasreached you(the) narration(of the) guests(of) Ibrahimthe honored
51:24
إِذْدَخَلُوا۟عَلَيْهِفَقَالُوا۟سَلَـٰمًۭا ۖقَالَسَلَـٰمٌۭقَوْمٌۭمُّنكَرُونَ
munkarūnaqawmunsalāmunqālasalāmanfaqālūʿalayhidakhalūidh
Whenthey enteredupon himand saidPeaceHe saidPeacea peopleunknown
51:25
فَرَاغَإِلَىٰٓأَهْلِهِۦفَجَآءَبِعِجْلٍۢسَمِينٍۢ
samīninbiʿij'linfajāaahlihiilāfarāgha
Then he wenttohis householdand camewith a calffat
51:26
فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓإِلَيْهِمْقَالَأَلَاتَأْكُلُونَ
takulūnaalāqālailayhimfaqarrabahu
And he placed it near[to] themhe saidWill notyou eat
51:27
فَأَوْجَسَمِنْهُمْخِيفَةًۭ ۖقَالُوا۟لَاتَخَفْ ۖوَبَشَّرُوهُبِغُلَـٰمٍعَلِيمٍۢ
ʿalīminbighulāminwabasharūhutakhaflāqālūkhīfatanmin'humfa-awjasa
Then he feltfrom thema fearThey said(Do) notfearand they gave him glad tidingsof a sonlearned
51:28
فَأَقْبَلَتِٱمْرَأَتُهُۥفِىصَرَّةٍۢفَصَكَّتْوَجْهَهَاوَقَالَتْعَجُوزٌعَقِيمٌۭ
ʿaqīmunʿajūzunwaqālatwajhahāfaṣakkatṣarratinfīim'ra-atuhufa-aqbalati
Then came forwardhis wifewitha loud voiceand struckher faceand she saidAn old womanbarren
51:29
قَالُوا۟كَذَٰلِكِقَالَرَبُّكِ ۖإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلْحَكِيمُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-ḥakīmuhuwainnahurabbukiqālakadhālikiqālū
They saidThussaidyour LordIndeed, He[He](is) the All-Wisethe All-Knower
51:30
