Basmala
۞ قَالَفَمَاخَطْبُكُمْأَيُّهَاٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
l-mur'salūnaayyuhākhaṭbukumfamāqāla
He saidThen what(is) your missionO messengersO messengers
51:31
قَالُوٓا۟إِنَّآأُرْسِلْنَآإِلَىٰقَوْمٍۢمُّجْرِمِينَ
muj'rimīnaqawminilāur'sil'nāinnāqālū
They saidIndeed, we[we] have been senttoa peoplecriminal
51:32
لِنُرْسِلَعَلَيْهِمْحِجَارَةًۭمِّنطِينٍۢ
ṭīninminḥijāratanʿalayhimlinur'sila
That we may send downupon themstonesofclay
51:33
مُّسَوَّمَةًعِندَرَبِّكَلِلْمُسْرِفِينَ
lil'mus'rifīnarabbikaʿindamusawwamatan
Markedby your Lordby your Lordfor the transgressors
51:34
فَأَخْرَجْنَامَنكَانَفِيهَامِنَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīnaminafīhākānamanfa-akhrajnā
Then We brought out(those) whowerethereinofthe believers
51:35
فَمَاوَجَدْنَافِيهَاغَيْرَبَيْتٍۢمِّنَٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
l-mus'limīnaminabaytinghayrafīhāwajadnāfamā
But notWe foundthereinother thana houseofthe Muslims
51:36
وَتَرَكْنَافِيهَآءَايَةًۭلِّلَّذِينَيَخَافُونَٱلْعَذَابَٱلْأَلِيمَ
l-alīmal-ʿadhābayakhāfūnalilladhīnaāyatanfīhāwataraknā
And We leftthereina Signfor those whofearthe punishmentthe painful
51:37
وَفِىمُوسَىٰٓإِذْأَرْسَلْنَـٰهُإِلَىٰفِرْعَوْنَبِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninbisul'ṭāninfir'ʿawnailāarsalnāhuidhmūsāwafī
And inMusawhenWe sent himtoFiraunwith an authorityclear
51:38
فَتَوَلَّىٰبِرُكْنِهِۦوَقَالَسَـٰحِرٌأَوْمَجْنُونٌۭ
majnūnunawsāḥirunwaqālabiruk'nihifatawallā
But he turned awaywith his supportersand saidA magicianora madman
51:39
فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُوَجُنُودَهُۥفَنَبَذْنَـٰهُمْفِىٱلْيَمِّوَهُوَمُلِيمٌۭ
mulīmunwahuwal-yamifīfanabadhnāhumwajunūdahufa-akhadhnāhu
So We took himand his hostsand threw themintothe seawhile he(was) blameworthy
51:40
وَفِىعَادٍإِذْأَرْسَلْنَاعَلَيْهِمُٱلرِّيحَٱلْعَقِيمَ
l-ʿaqīmal-rīḥaʿalayhimuarsalnāidhʿādinwafī
And inAadwhenWe sentagainst themthe windthe barren
51:41
مَاتَذَرُمِنشَىْءٍأَتَتْعَلَيْهِإِلَّاجَعَلَتْهُكَٱلرَّمِيمِ
kal-ramīmijaʿalathuillāʿalayhiatatshayinmintadharumā
Notit leftanythingit cameupon itbutit made itlike disintegrated ruins
51:42
وَفِىثَمُودَإِذْقِيلَلَهُمْتَمَتَّعُوا۟حَتَّىٰحِينٍۢ
ḥīninḥattātamattaʿūlahumqīlaidhthamūdawafī
And inThamudwhenwas saidto themEnjoy (yourselves)fora time
51:43
فَعَتَوْا۟عَنْأَمْرِرَبِّهِمْفَأَخَذَتْهُمُٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُوَهُمْيَنظُرُونَ
yanẓurūnawahuml-ṣāʿiqatufa-akhadhathumurabbihimamriʿanfaʿataw
But they rebelledagainst(the) Command(of) their Lordso seized themthe thunderboltwhile theywere looking
51:44
فَمَاٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟مِنقِيَامٍۢوَمَاكَانُوا۟مُنتَصِرِينَ
muntaṣirīnakānūwamāqiyāminminis'taṭāʿūfamā
Then notthey were able to[of]standand notthey couldhelp themselves
51:45
وَقَوْمَنُوحٍۢمِّنقَبْلُ ۖإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟قَوْمًۭافَـٰسِقِينَ
fāsiqīnaqawmankānūinnahumqabluminnūḥinwaqawma
And (the) people(of) Nuhbeforebeforeindeed, theywerea peopledefiantly disobedient
51:46
وَٱلسَّمَآءَبَنَيْنَـٰهَابِأَيْي۟دٍۢوَإِنَّالَمُوسِعُونَ
lamūsiʿūnawa-innābi-aydinbanaynāhāwal-samāa
And the heavenWe constructed itwith strengthand indeed, We(are) surely (its) Expanders
51:47
وَٱلْأَرْضَفَرَشْنَـٰهَافَنِعْمَٱلْمَـٰهِدُونَ
l-māhidūnafaniʿ'mafarashnāhāwal-arḍa
And the earthWe have spread ithow excellent(are) the Spreaders
51:48
وَمِنكُلِّشَىْءٍخَلَقْنَازَوْجَيْنِلَعَلَّكُمْتَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkarūnalaʿallakumzawjaynikhalaqnāshayinkulliwamin
And ofeverythingWe have createdpairsso that you mayremember
51:49
فَفِرُّوٓا۟إِلَىٱللَّهِ ۖإِنِّىلَكُممِّنْهُنَذِيرٌۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunnadhīrunmin'hulakuminnīl-lahiilāfafirrū
So fleetoAllahindeed, I amto youfrom Hima warnerclear
51:50
وَلَاتَجْعَلُوا۟مَعَٱللَّهِإِلَـٰهًاءَاخَرَ ۖإِنِّىلَكُممِّنْهُنَذِيرٌۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunnadhīrunmin'hulakuminnīākharailāhanl-lahimaʿatajʿalūwalā
And (do) notmakewithAllahgodanotherIndeed, I amto youfrom Hima warnerclear
51:51
كَذَٰلِكَمَآأَتَىٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِممِّنرَّسُولٍإِلَّاقَالُوا۟سَاحِرٌأَوْمَجْنُونٌ
majnūnunawsāḥirunqālūillārasūlinminqablihimminalladhīnaatāmākadhālika
Likewisenotcame(to) thosebefore thembefore themanyMessengerbutthey saidA magicianora madman
51:52
أَتَوَاصَوْا۟بِهِۦ ۚبَلْهُمْقَوْمٌۭطَاغُونَ
ṭāghūnaqawmunhumbalbihiatawāṣaw
Have they transmitted it to themHave they transmitted it to themNaythey(are) a peopletransgressing
51:53
فَتَوَلَّعَنْهُمْفَمَآأَنتَبِمَلُومٍۢ
bimalūminantafamāʿanhumfatawalla
So turn awayfrom themfor notyou(are) to be blamed
51:54
وَذَكِّرْفَإِنَّٱلذِّكْرَىٰتَنفَعُٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīnatanfaʿul-dhik'rāfa-innawadhakkir
And remindfor indeedthe reminderbenefitsthe believers
51:55
وَمَاخَلَقْتُٱلْجِنَّوَٱلْإِنسَإِلَّالِيَعْبُدُونِ
liyaʿbudūniillāwal-insal-jinakhalaqtuwamā
And notI have createdthe jinnand the mankindexceptthat they worship Me
51:56
مَآأُرِيدُمِنْهُممِّنرِّزْقٍۢوَمَآأُرِيدُأَنيُطْعِمُونِ
yuṭ'ʿimūnianurīduwamāriz'qinminmin'humurīdumā
NotI wantfrom themanyprovisionand notI wantthatthey (should) feed Me
51:57
إِنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلرَّزَّاقُذُوٱلْقُوَّةِٱلْمَتِينُ
l-matīnul-quwatidhūl-razāquhuwal-lahainna
IndeedAllahHe(is) the All-ProviderPossessor(of) Powerthe Strong
51:58
فَإِنَّلِلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟ذَنُوبًۭامِّثْلَذَنُوبِأَصْحَـٰبِهِمْفَلَايَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
yastaʿjilūnifalāaṣḥābihimdhanūbimith'ladhanūbanẓalamūlilladhīnafa-inna
So indeedfor those whodo wrong(is) a portionlike(the) portion(of) their companionsso let them not ask Me to hastenso let them not ask Me to hasten
51:59
فَوَيْلٌۭلِّلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟مِنيَوْمِهِمُٱلَّذِىيُوعَدُونَ
yūʿadūnaalladhīyawmihimuminkafarūlilladhīnafawaylun
Then woeto those whodisbelievefromtheir Daywhichthey are promised
51:60
Basmala
وَٱلطُّورِ
wal-ṭūri
By the Mount
52:1
وَكِتَـٰبٍۢمَّسْطُورٍۢ
masṭūrinwakitābin
And by (the) Bookwritten
52:2
فِىرَقٍّۢمَّنشُورٍۢ
manshūrinraqqinfī
Inparchmentunrolled
52:3
وَٱلْبَيْتِٱلْمَعْمُورِ
l-maʿmūriwal-bayti
By the Housefrequented
52:4
وَٱلسَّقْفِٱلْمَرْفُوعِ
l-marfūʿiwal-saqfi
By the roofraised high
52:5
وَٱلْبَحْرِٱلْمَسْجُورِ
l-masjūriwal-baḥri
By the seafilled
52:6
إِنَّعَذَابَرَبِّكَلَوَٰقِعٌۭ
lawāqiʿunrabbikaʿadhābainna
Indeed(the) punishment(of) your Lord(will) surely occur
52:7
مَّالَهُۥمِندَافِعٍۢ
dāfiʿinminlahumā
Notfor itanypreventer
52:8
يَوْمَتَمُورُٱلسَّمَآءُمَوْرًۭا
mawranl-samāutamūruyawma
(On the) Daywill shakethe heaven(with violent) shake
52:9
وَتَسِيرُٱلْجِبَالُسَيْرًۭا
sayranl-jibāluwatasīru
And will move awaythe mountains(with an awful) movement
52:10
فَوَيْلٌۭيَوْمَئِذٍۢلِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
lil'mukadhibīnayawma-idhinfawaylun
Then woethat Dayto the deniers
52:11
ٱلَّذِينَهُمْفِىخَوْضٍۢيَلْعَبُونَ
yalʿabūnakhawḍinfīhumalladhīna
Who[they]in(vain) discourseare playing
52:12
يَوْمَيُدَعُّونَإِلَىٰنَارِجَهَنَّمَدَعًّا
daʿʿanjahannamanāriilāyudaʿʿūnayawma
(The) Daythey will be thrust(in)to(the) Fire(of) Hell(with) a thrust
52:13
هَـٰذِهِٱلنَّارُٱلَّتِىكُنتُمبِهَاتُكَذِّبُونَ
tukadhibūnabihākuntumallatīl-nāruhādhihi
This(is) the Firewhichyou used to[of it]deny
52:14
أَفَسِحْرٌهَـٰذَآأَمْأَنتُمْلَاتُبْصِرُونَ
tub'ṣirūnalāantumamhādhāafasiḥ'run
Then is this magicThen is this magicoryou(do) notsee
52:15
ٱصْلَوْهَافَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟أَوْلَاتَصْبِرُوا۟سَوَآءٌعَلَيْكُمْ ۖإِنَّمَاتُجْزَوْنَمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntummātuj'zawnainnamāʿalaykumsawāontaṣbirūlāawfa-iṣ'birūiṣ'lawhā
Burn in itthen be patientor(do) notbe patient(it is) samefor youOnlyyou are being recompensed(for) whatyou used todo
52:16
إِنَّٱلْمُتَّقِينَفِىجَنَّـٰتٍۢوَنَعِيمٍۢ
wanaʿīminjannātinfīl-mutaqīnainna
Indeedthe righteous(will be) inGardensand pleasure
52:17
فَـٰكِهِينَبِمَآءَاتَىٰهُمْرَبُّهُمْوَوَقَىٰهُمْرَبُّهُمْعَذَابَٱلْجَحِيمِ
l-jaḥīmiʿadhābarabbuhumwawaqāhumrabbuhumātāhumbimāfākihīna
Enjoyingin whathas given themtheir Lordand protected themtheir Lord(from the) punishment(of) Hellfire
52:18
كُلُوا۟وَٱشْرَبُوا۟هَنِيٓـًٔۢابِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāhanīanwa-ish'rabūkulū
Eatand drink(in) satisfactionfor whatyou used todo
52:19
مُتَّكِـِٔينَعَلَىٰسُرُرٍۢمَّصْفُوفَةٍۢ ۖوَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُمبِحُورٍعِينٍۢ
ʿīninbiḥūrinwazawwajnāhummaṣfūfatinsururinʿalāmuttakiīna
Recliningonthroneslined upand We will marry themto fair ones(with) large eyes
52:20
وَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَٱتَّبَعَتْهُمْذُرِّيَّتُهُمبِإِيمَـٰنٍأَلْحَقْنَابِهِمْذُرِّيَّتَهُمْوَمَآأَلَتْنَـٰهُممِّنْعَمَلِهِممِّنشَىْءٍۢ ۚكُلُّٱمْرِئٍۭبِمَاكَسَبَرَهِينٌۭ
rahīnunkasababimāim'ri-inkullushayinminʿamalihimminalatnāhumwamādhurriyyatahumbihimalḥaqnābiīmānindhurriyyatuhumwa-ittabaʿathumāmanūwa-alladhīna
And those whobelievedand followed themtheir offspringin faithWe will joinwith themtheir offspringand notWe will deprive themoftheir deeds(in) anythingEverypersonfor whathe earned(is) pledged
52:21
وَأَمْدَدْنَـٰهُمبِفَـٰكِهَةٍۢوَلَحْمٍۢمِّمَّايَشْتَهُونَ
yashtahūnamimmāwalaḥminbifākihatinwa-amdadnāhum
And We will provide themwith fruitand meatfrom whatthey desire
52:22
يَتَنَـٰزَعُونَفِيهَاكَأْسًۭالَّالَغْوٌۭفِيهَاوَلَاتَأْثِيمٌۭ
tathīmunwalāfīhālaghwunlākasanfīhāyatanāzaʿūna
They will pass to one anotherthereina cupnoill speechthereinand nosin
52:23
۞ وَيَطُوفُعَلَيْهِمْغِلْمَانٌۭلَّهُمْكَأَنَّهُمْلُؤْلُؤٌۭمَّكْنُونٌۭ
maknūnunlu'lu-onka-annahumlahumghil'mānunʿalayhimwayaṭūfu
And will circulateamong themboysfor themas if they (were)pearlswell-protected
52:24
وَأَقْبَلَبَعْضُهُمْعَلَىٰبَعْضٍۢيَتَسَآءَلُونَ
yatasāalūnabaʿḍinʿalābaʿḍuhumwa-aqbala
And will approachsome of themtoothersinquiring
52:25
قَالُوٓا۟إِنَّاكُنَّاقَبْلُفِىٓأَهْلِنَامُشْفِقِينَ
mush'fiqīnaahlināfīqablukunnāinnāqālū
They will sayIndeed, we[we] werebeforeamongour familiesfearful
52:26
فَمَنَّٱللَّهُعَلَيْنَاوَوَقَىٰنَاعَذَابَٱلسَّمُومِ
l-samūmiʿadhābawawaqānāʿalaynāl-lahufamanna
But Allah conferred favorBut Allah conferred favorupon usand protected us(from the) punishment(of) the Scorching Fire
52:27
إِنَّاكُنَّامِنقَبْلُنَدْعُوهُ ۖإِنَّهُۥهُوَٱلْبَرُّٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmul-baruhuwainnahunadʿūhuqabluminkunnāinnā
Indeed, we[we] used tobeforebeforecall HimIndeed, He[He](is) the Most Kindthe Most Merciful
52:28
فَذَكِّرْفَمَآأَنتَبِنِعْمَتِرَبِّكَبِكَاهِنٍۢوَلَامَجْنُونٍ
majnūninwalābikāhininrabbikabiniʿ'matiantafamāfadhakkir
Therefore remindfor notyou(are) by (the) grace(of) your Lorda soothsayerand nota madman
52:29
أَمْيَقُولُونَشَاعِرٌۭنَّتَرَبَّصُبِهِۦرَيْبَٱلْمَنُونِ
l-manūniraybabihinatarabbaṣushāʿirunyaqūlūnaam
Or(do) they sayA poetwe waitfor hima misfortune of timea misfortune of time
52:30
قُلْتَرَبَّصُوا۟فَإِنِّىمَعَكُممِّنَٱلْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ
l-mutarabiṣīnaminamaʿakumfa-innītarabbaṣūqul
SayWaitfor indeed I amwith youamongthose who wait
52:31
أَمْتَأْمُرُهُمْأَحْلَـٰمُهُمبِهَـٰذَآ ۚأَمْهُمْقَوْمٌۭطَاغُونَ
ṭāghūnaqawmunhumambihādhāaḥlāmuhumtamuruhumam
Orcommand themtheir mindsthisorthey(are) a peopletransgressing
52:32
أَمْيَقُولُونَتَقَوَّلَهُۥ ۚبَللَّايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalābaltaqawwalahuyaqūlūnaam
Or(do) they sayHe has made it upNaynotthey believe
52:33
فَلْيَأْتُوا۟بِحَدِيثٍۢمِّثْلِهِۦٓإِنكَانُوا۟صَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakānūinmith'lihibiḥadīthinfalyatū
Then let them bringa statementlike itifthey aretruthful
52:34
أَمْخُلِقُوا۟مِنْغَيْرِشَىْءٍأَمْهُمُٱلْخَـٰلِقُونَ
l-khāliqūnahumuamshayinghayriminkhuliqūam
Orthey were createdofnothingnothingor(are) theythe creators
52:35
أَمْخَلَقُوا۟ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَ ۚبَللَّايُوقِنُونَ
yūqinūnalābalwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqūam
Or(did) they createthe heavensand the earthNaynotthey are certain
52:36
أَمْعِندَهُمْخَزَآئِنُرَبِّكَأَمْهُمُٱلْمُصَۣيْطِرُونَ
l-muṣayṭirūnahumuamrabbikakhazāinuʿindahumam
Orwith them(are the) treasures(of) your Lordor(are) theythe controllers
52:37
أَمْلَهُمْسُلَّمٌۭيَسْتَمِعُونَفِيهِ ۖفَلْيَأْتِمُسْتَمِعُهُمبِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢمُّبِينٍ
mubīninbisul'ṭāninmus'tamiʿuhumfalyatifīhiyastamiʿūnasullamunlahumam
Orfor them(is) a stairwaythey listentherewithThen let bringtheir listeneran authorityclear
52:38
أَمْلَهُٱلْبَنَـٰتُوَلَكُمُٱلْبَنُونَ
l-banūnawalakumul-banātulahuam
Orfor Him(are) daughterswhile for you(are) sons
52:39
أَمْتَسْـَٔلُهُمْأَجْرًۭافَهُممِّنمَّغْرَمٍۢمُّثْقَلُونَ
muth'qalūnamaghraminminfahumajrantasaluhumam
Or(do) you ask from thema paymentso theyfroma debt(are) overburdened
52:40
أَمْعِندَهُمُٱلْغَيْبُفَهُمْيَكْتُبُونَ
yaktubūnafahuml-ghaybuʿindahumuam
Orwith them(is) the unseenso theywrite (it) down
52:41
أَمْيُرِيدُونَكَيْدًۭا ۖفَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟هُمُٱلْمَكِيدُونَ
l-makīdūnahumukafarūfa-alladhīnakaydanyurīdūnaam
Or(do) they intenda plotBut those whodisbelievethemselves(are in) the plot
52:42
أَمْلَهُمْإِلَـٰهٌغَيْرُٱللَّهِ ۚسُبْحَـٰنَٱللَّهِعَمَّايُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūnaʿammāl-lahisub'ḥānal-lahighayruilāhunlahumam
Orfor thema godother thanAllahGlory be(to) Allahfrom whatthey associate (with Him)
52:43
وَإِنيَرَوْا۟كِسْفًۭامِّنَٱلسَّمَآءِسَاقِطًۭايَقُولُوا۟سَحَابٌۭمَّرْكُومٌۭ
markūmunsaḥābunyaqūlūsāqiṭanl-samāiminakis'fanyarawwa-in
And ifthey were to seea portionfromthe skyfallingthey will sayCloudsheaped up
52:44
فَذَرْهُمْحَتَّىٰيُلَـٰقُوا۟يَوْمَهُمُٱلَّذِىفِيهِيُصْعَقُونَ
yuṣ'ʿaqūnafīhialladhīyawmahumuyulāqūḥattāfadharhum
So leave themuntilthey meettheir Daywhichin itthey will faint
52:45
يَوْمَلَايُغْنِىعَنْهُمْكَيْدُهُمْشَيْـًۭٔاوَلَاهُمْيُنصَرُونَ
yunṣarūnahumwalāshayankayduhumʿanhumyugh'nīlāyawma
(The) Daynotwill availto themtheir plotting(in) anythingand nottheywill be helped
52:46
وَإِنَّلِلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟عَذَابًۭادُونَذَٰلِكَوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāaktharahumwalākinnadhālikadūnaʿadhābanẓalamūlilladhīnawa-inna
And indeedfor those whodo wrong(is) a punishmentbeforethatbutmost of them(do) notknow
52:47
وَٱصْبِرْلِحُكْمِرَبِّكَفَإِنَّكَبِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖوَسَبِّحْبِحَمْدِرَبِّكَحِينَتَقُومُ
taqūmuḥīnarabbikabiḥamdiwasabbiḥbi-aʿyunināfa-innakarabbikaliḥuk'miwa-iṣ'bir
So be patientfor (the) Command(of) your Lordfor indeed, you(are) in Our EyesAnd glorify(the) praise(of) your Lordwhenyou arise
52:48
وَمِنَٱلَّيْلِفَسَبِّحْهُوَإِدْبَـٰرَٱلنُّجُومِ
l-nujūmiwa-id'bārafasabbiḥ'hual-layliwamina
And ofthe nightglorify Himand afterthe stars
52:49
Basmala
وَٱلنَّجْمِإِذَاهَوَىٰ
hawāidhāwal-najmi
By the starwhenit goes down
53:1
مَاضَلَّصَاحِبُكُمْوَمَاغَوَىٰ
ghawāwamāṣāḥibukumḍallamā
Nothas strayedyour companionand nothas he erred
53:2
وَمَايَنطِقُعَنِٱلْهَوَىٰٓ
l-hawāʿaniyanṭiquwamā
And nothe speaksfromthe desire
53:3
إِنْهُوَإِلَّاوَحْىٌۭيُوحَىٰ
yūḥāwaḥyunillāhuwain
Notit(is) excepta revelationrevealed
53:4
عَلَّمَهُۥشَدِيدُٱلْقُوَىٰ
l-quwāshadīduʿallamahu
Has taught himthe (one) mighty(in) power
53:5
ذُومِرَّةٍۢفَٱسْتَوَىٰ
fa-is'tawāmirratindhū
Possessor of soundnessPossessor of soundnessAnd he rose
53:6
وَهُوَبِٱلْأُفُقِٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
l-aʿlābil-ufuqiwahuwa
While he(was) in the horizon the highest
53:7
ثُمَّدَنَافَتَدَلَّىٰ
fatadallādanāthumma
Thenhe approachedand came down
53:8
فَكَانَقَابَقَوْسَيْنِأَوْأَدْنَىٰ
adnāawqawsayniqābafakāna
And was(at) a distance(of) two bow-(lengths)ornearer
53:9
فَأَوْحَىٰٓإِلَىٰعَبْدِهِۦمَآأَوْحَىٰ
awḥāmāʿabdihiilāfa-awḥā
So he revealedtoHis slavewhathe revealed
53:10
مَاكَذَبَٱلْفُؤَادُمَارَأَىٰٓ
raāmāl-fuādukadhabamā
Notliedthe heartwhatit saw
53:11
أَفَتُمَـٰرُونَهُۥعَلَىٰمَايَرَىٰ
yarāmāʿalāafatumārūnahu
Then will you dispute with himaboutwhathe saw
53:12
وَلَقَدْرَءَاهُنَزْلَةًأُخْرَىٰ
ukh'rānazlatanraāhuwalaqad
And certainlyhe saw him(in) descentanother
53:13
عِندَسِدْرَةِٱلْمُنتَهَىٰ
l-muntahāsid'ratiʿinda
Near(the) Lote Tree(of) the utmost boundary
53:14
عِندَهَاجَنَّةُٱلْمَأْوَىٰٓ
l-mawājannatuʿindahā
Near it(is the) Garden(of) Abode
53:15
إِذْيَغْشَىٱلسِّدْرَةَمَايَغْشَىٰ
yaghshāmāl-sid'ratayaghshāidh
Whencoveredthe Lote Treewhatcovers
53:16
مَازَاغَٱلْبَصَرُوَمَاطَغَىٰ
ṭaghāwamāl-baṣaruzāghamā
Notswervedthe sightand notit transgressed
53:17
لَقَدْرَأَىٰمِنْءَايَـٰتِرَبِّهِٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ
l-kub'rārabbihiāyātiminraālaqad
Certainlyhe sawof(the) Signs(of) his Lordthe Greatest
53:18
أَفَرَءَيْتُمُٱللَّـٰتَوَٱلْعُزَّىٰ
wal-ʿuzāl-lātaafara-aytumu
So have you seenthe Latand the Uzza
53:19
وَمَنَوٰةَٱلثَّالِثَةَٱلْأُخْرَىٰٓ
l-ukh'rāl-thālithatawamanata
And Manatthe thirdthe other
53:20
أَلَكُمُٱلذَّكَرُوَلَهُٱلْأُنثَىٰ
l-unthāwalahul-dhakarualakumu
Is for youthe maleand for Himthe female
53:21
تِلْكَإِذًۭاقِسْمَةٌۭضِيزَىٰٓ
ḍīzāqis'matunidhantil'ka
Thisthen(is) a divisionunfair
53:22
إِنْهِىَإِلَّآأَسْمَآءٌۭسَمَّيْتُمُوهَآأَنتُمْوَءَابَآؤُكُممَّآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُبِهَامِنسُلْطَـٰنٍ ۚإِنيَتَّبِعُونَإِلَّاٱلظَّنَّوَمَاتَهْوَىٱلْأَنفُسُ ۖوَلَقَدْجَآءَهُممِّنرَّبِّهِمُٱلْهُدَىٰٓ
l-hudārabbihimuminjāahumwalaqadl-anfusutahwāwamāl-ẓanaillāyattabiʿūnainsul'ṭāninminbihāl-lahuanzalamāwaābāukumantumsammaytumūhāasmāonillāhiyain
Notthey(are) exceptnamesyou have named themyouand your forefathersnothas Allah sent downhas Allah sent downfor itanyauthorityNotthey followexceptassumptionand whatdesirethe(ir) soulsAnd certainlyhas come to themfromtheir Lordthe guidance
53:23
أَمْلِلْإِنسَـٰنِمَاتَمَنَّىٰ
tamannāmālil'insāniam
Or(is) for manwhathe wishes
53:24
فَلِلَّهِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُوَٱلْأُولَىٰ
wal-ūlāl-ākhiratufalillahi
But for Allah(is) the lastand the first
53:25
۞ وَكَممِّنمَّلَكٍۢفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِلَاتُغْنِىشَفَـٰعَتُهُمْشَيْـًٔاإِلَّامِنۢبَعْدِأَنيَأْذَنَٱللَّهُلِمَنيَشَآءُوَيَرْضَىٰٓ
wayarḍāyashāulimanl-lahuyadhanaanbaʿdiminillāshayanshafāʿatuhumtugh'nīlāl-samāwātifīmalakinminwakam
And how manyof(the) Angelsinthe heavensnotwill availtheir intercessionanythingexceptafterafter[that]Allah has given permissionAllah has given permissionfor whomHe willsand approves
53:26
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَلَايُؤْمِنُونَبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِلَيُسَمُّونَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَتَسْمِيَةَٱلْأُنثَىٰ
l-unthātasmiyatal-malāikatalayusammūnabil-ākhiratiyu'minūnalāalladhīnainna
Indeedthose who(do) notbelievein the Hereaftersurely they namethe Angelsname(s)(of) female
53:27
وَمَالَهُمبِهِۦمِنْعِلْمٍ ۖإِنيَتَّبِعُونَإِلَّاٱلظَّنَّ ۖوَإِنَّٱلظَّنَّلَايُغْنِىمِنَٱلْحَقِّشَيْـًۭٔا
shayanl-ḥaqiminayugh'nīlāl-ẓanawa-innal-ẓanaillāyattabiʿūnainʿil'minminbihilahumwamā
And notfor themabout itanyknowledgeNotthey followbutassumptionAnd indeedthe assumption(does) notavailagainstthe truthanything
53:28
فَأَعْرِضْعَنمَّنتَوَلَّىٰعَنذِكْرِنَاوَلَمْيُرِدْإِلَّاٱلْحَيَوٰةَٱلدُّنْيَا
l-dun'yāl-ḥayataillāyuridwalamdhik'rināʿantawallāmanʿanfa-aʿriḍ
So turn awayfrom(him) whoturns awayfromOur Reminderand nothe desiresexceptthe life(of) the world
53:29
ذَٰلِكَمَبْلَغُهُممِّنَٱلْعِلْمِ ۚإِنَّرَبَّكَهُوَأَعْلَمُبِمَنضَلَّعَنسَبِيلِهِۦوَهُوَأَعْلَمُبِمَنِٱهْتَدَىٰ
ih'tadābimaniaʿlamuwahuwasabīlihiʿanḍallabimanaʿlamuhuwarabbakainnal-ʿil'miminamablaghuhumdhālika
That(is) their sumofknowledgeIndeedyour Lord(is) He (Who)knows best(he) whostraysfromHis Pathand Heknows best(he) whois guided
53:30
وَلِلَّهِمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِلِيَجْزِىَٱلَّذِينَأَسَـٰٓـُٔوا۟بِمَاعَمِلُوا۟وَيَجْزِىَٱلَّذِينَأَحْسَنُوا۟بِٱلْحُسْنَى
bil-ḥus'nāaḥsanūalladhīnawayajziyaʿamilūbimāasāūalladhīnaliyajziyal-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmāwalillahi
And for Allah(is) whatever(is) inthe heavensand whatever(is) inthe earththat He may recompensethose whodo evilwith whatthey have doneand recompensethose whodo goodwith the best
53:31
ٱلَّذِينَيَجْتَنِبُونَكَبَـٰٓئِرَٱلْإِثْمِوَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَإِلَّاٱللَّمَمَ ۚإِنَّرَبَّكَوَٰسِعُٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ ۚهُوَأَعْلَمُبِكُمْإِذْأَنشَأَكُممِّنَٱلْأَرْضِوَإِذْأَنتُمْأَجِنَّةٌۭفِىبُطُونِأُمَّهَـٰتِكُمْ ۖفَلَاتُزَكُّوٓا۟أَنفُسَكُمْ ۖهُوَأَعْلَمُبِمَنِٱتَّقَىٰٓ
ittaqābimaniaʿlamuhuwaanfusakumtuzakkūfalāummahātikumbuṭūnifīajinnatunantumwa-idhl-arḍiminaansha-akumidhbikumaʿlamuhuwal-maghfiratiwāsiʿurabbakainnal-lamamaillāwal-fawāḥishal-ith'mikabāirayajtanibūnaalladhīna
Those whoavoidgreatsinsand the immoralitiesexceptthe small faultsindeedyour Lord(is) vast(in) forgivenessHe(is) most knowing about you(is) most knowing about youwhenHe produced youfromthe earthand whenyou (were)fetusesin(the) wombs(of) your mothersSo (do) notascribe purity(to) yourselvesHeknows best(he) whofears
53:32
أَفَرَءَيْتَٱلَّذِىتَوَلَّىٰ
tawallāalladhīafara-ayta
Did you seethe one whoturned away
53:33
وَأَعْطَىٰقَلِيلًۭاوَأَكْدَىٰٓ
wa-akdāqalīlanwa-aʿṭā
And gavea littleand withheld
53:34
أَعِندَهُۥعِلْمُٱلْغَيْبِفَهُوَيَرَىٰٓ
yarāfahuwal-ghaybiʿil'muaʿindahu
Is with him(the) knowledge(of) the unseenso hesees
53:35
أَمْلَمْيُنَبَّأْبِمَافِىصُحُفِمُوسَىٰ
mūsāṣuḥufifībimāyunabbalamam
Ornothe was informedwith what(was) in(the) Scriptures(of) Musa
53:36
وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَٱلَّذِىوَفَّىٰٓ
waffāalladhīwa-ib'rāhīma
And Ibrahimwhofulfilled
53:37
أَلَّاتَزِرُوَازِرَةٌۭوِزْرَأُخْرَىٰ
ukh'rāwiz'rawāziratuntaziruallā
That notwill beara bearer of burdens(the) burden(of) another
53:38
وَأَنلَّيْسَلِلْإِنسَـٰنِإِلَّامَاسَعَىٰ
saʿāmāillālil'insānilaysawa-an
And thatis notfor manexceptwhathe strives (for)
53:39
وَأَنَّسَعْيَهُۥسَوْفَيُرَىٰ
yurāsawfasaʿyahuwa-anna
And thathis strivingwill soonbe seen
53:40
ثُمَّيُجْزَىٰهُٱلْجَزَآءَٱلْأَوْفَىٰ
l-awfāl-jazāayuj'zāhuthumma
Thenhe will be recompensed for itthe recompensethe fullest
53:41
وَأَنَّإِلَىٰرَبِّكَٱلْمُنتَهَىٰ
l-muntahārabbikailāwa-anna
And thattoyour Lord(is) the final goal
53:42
وَأَنَّهُۥهُوَأَضْحَكَوَأَبْكَىٰ
wa-abkāaḍḥakahuwawa-annahu
And that He[He]makes (one) laughand makes (one) weep
53:43
وَأَنَّهُۥهُوَأَمَاتَوَأَحْيَا
wa-aḥyāamātahuwawa-annahu
And that He[He]causes deathand gives life
53:44
وَأَنَّهُۥخَلَقَٱلزَّوْجَيْنِٱلذَّكَرَوَٱلْأُنثَىٰ
wal-unthāl-dhakaral-zawjaynikhalaqawa-annahu
And that Hecreatedthe pairsthe maleand the female
53:45
مِننُّطْفَةٍإِذَاتُمْنَىٰ
tum'nāidhānuṭ'fatinmin
Froma semen-dropwhenit is emitted
53:46
وَأَنَّعَلَيْهِٱلنَّشْأَةَٱلْأُخْرَىٰ
l-ukh'rāl-nashataʿalayhiwa-anna
And thatupon Him(is) the bringing forthanother
53:47
وَأَنَّهُۥهُوَأَغْنَىٰوَأَقْنَىٰ
wa-aqnāaghnāhuwawa-annahu
And that He[He]enrichesand suffices
53:48
وَأَنَّهُۥهُوَرَبُّٱلشِّعْرَىٰ
l-shiʿ'rārabbuhuwawa-annahu
And that He[He](is the) Lord(of) Sirius
53:49
وَأَنَّهُۥٓأَهْلَكَعَادًاٱلْأُولَىٰ
l-ūlāʿādanahlakawa-annahu
And that HedestroyedAadthe first
53:50
وَثَمُودَا۟فَمَآأَبْقَىٰ
abqāfamāwathamūdā
And Thamudso notHe spared
53:51
وَقَوْمَنُوحٍۢمِّنقَبْلُ ۖإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟هُمْأَظْلَمَوَأَطْغَىٰ
wa-aṭghāaẓlamahumkānūinnahumqabluminnūḥinwaqawma
And (the) people(of) NuhbeforebeforeIndeed, theythey werethey weremore unjustand more rebellious
53:52
وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَةَأَهْوَىٰ
ahwāwal-mu'tafikata
And the overturned citiesHe overthrew
53:53
فَغَشَّىٰهَامَاغَشَّىٰ
ghashāmāfaghashāhā
So covered themwhatcovered
53:54
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكَتَتَمَارَىٰ
tatamārārabbikaālāifabi-ayyi
Then which (of)the Favors(of) your Lordwill you doubt
53:55
هَـٰذَانَذِيرٌۭمِّنَٱلنُّذُرِٱلْأُولَىٰٓ
l-ūlāl-nudhuriminanadhīrunhādhā
This(is) a warnerfromthe warnersthe former
53:56
أَزِفَتِٱلْـَٔازِفَةُ
l-āzifatuazifati
Has approachedthe Approaching Day
53:57
لَيْسَلَهَامِندُونِٱللَّهِكَاشِفَةٌ
kāshifatunl-lahidūniminlahālaysa
Not isfor itbesidesbesidesAllahany remover
53:58
أَفَمِنْهَـٰذَاٱلْحَدِيثِتَعْجَبُونَ
taʿjabūnal-ḥadīthihādhāafamin
Then ofthisstatementyou wonder
53:59
وَتَضْحَكُونَوَلَاتَبْكُونَ
tabkūnawalāwataḍḥakūna
And you laughand (do) notweep
53:60
وَأَنتُمْسَـٰمِدُونَ
sāmidūnawa-antum
While youamuse (yourselves)
53:61
فَٱسْجُدُوا۟لِلَّهِوَٱعْبُدُوا۟ ۩
wa-uʿ'budūlillahifa-us'judū
So prostrateto Allahand worship (Him)
53:62
Basmala
ٱقْتَرَبَتِٱلسَّاعَةُوَٱنشَقَّٱلْقَمَرُ
l-qamaruwa-inshaqqal-sāʿatuiq'tarabati
Has come nearthe Hourand has splitthe moon
54:1
وَإِنيَرَوْا۟ءَايَةًۭيُعْرِضُوا۟وَيَقُولُوا۟سِحْرٌۭمُّسْتَمِرٌّۭ
mus'tamirrunsiḥ'runwayaqūlūyuʿ'riḍūāyatanyarawwa-in
And ifthey seea Signthey turn awayand sayMagiccontinuing
54:2
وَكَذَّبُوا۟وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟أَهْوَآءَهُمْ ۚوَكُلُّأَمْرٍۢمُّسْتَقِرٌّۭ
mus'taqirrunamrinwakulluahwāahumwa-ittabaʿūwakadhabū
And they deniedand followedtheir desiresbut (for) everymatter(will be a) settlement
54:3
وَلَقَدْجَآءَهُممِّنَٱلْأَنۢبَآءِمَافِيهِمُزْدَجَرٌ
muz'dajarunfīhimāl-anbāiminajāahumwalaqad
And certainlyhas come to themofthe informationwhereinwherein(is) deterrence
54:4
حِكْمَةٌۢبَـٰلِغَةٌۭ ۖفَمَاتُغْنِٱلنُّذُرُ
l-nudhurutugh'nifamābālighatunḥik'matun
Wisdomperfectbut notwill availthe warnings
54:5
فَتَوَلَّعَنْهُمْ ۘيَوْمَيَدْعُٱلدَّاعِإِلَىٰشَىْءٍۢنُّكُرٍ
nukurinshayinilāl-dāʿiyadʿuyawmaʿanhumfatawalla
So turn awayfrom them(The) Daywill callthe callertoa thingterrible
54:6
خُشَّعًاأَبْصَـٰرُهُمْيَخْرُجُونَمِنَٱلْأَجْدَاثِكَأَنَّهُمْجَرَادٌۭمُّنتَشِرٌۭ
muntashirunjarādunka-annahuml-ajdāthiminayakhrujūnaabṣāruhumkhushaʿan
(Will be) humbledtheir eyesthey will come forthfromthe gravesas if they (were)locustsspreading
54:7
مُّهْطِعِينَإِلَىٱلدَّاعِ ۖيَقُولُٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَهَـٰذَايَوْمٌعَسِرٌۭ
ʿasirunyawmunhādhāl-kāfirūnayaqūlul-dāʿiilāmuh'ṭiʿīna
Racing aheadtowardsthe callerWill saythe disbelieversThis(is) a Daydifficult
54:8
۞ كَذَّبَتْقَبْلَهُمْقَوْمُنُوحٍۢفَكَذَّبُوا۟عَبْدَنَاوَقَالُوا۟مَجْنُونٌۭوَٱزْدُجِرَ
wa-uz'dujiramajnūnunwaqālūʿabdanāfakadhabūnūḥinqawmuqablahumkadhabat
Deniedbefore them(the) people(of) Nuhand they deniedOur slaveand saidA madmanand he was repelled
54:9
فَدَعَارَبَّهُۥٓأَنِّىمَغْلُوبٌۭفَٱنتَصِرْ
fa-intaṣirmaghlūbunannīrabbahufadaʿā
So he calledhis LordI amone overpoweredso help
54:10
فَفَتَحْنَآأَبْوَٰبَٱلسَّمَآءِبِمَآءٍۢمُّنْهَمِرٍۢ
mun'hamirinbimāinl-samāiabwābafafataḥnā
So We opened(the) gates(of) heavenwith waterpouring down
54:11
وَفَجَّرْنَاٱلْأَرْضَعُيُونًۭافَٱلْتَقَىٱلْمَآءُعَلَىٰٓأَمْرٍۢقَدْقُدِرَ
qudiraqadamrinʿalāl-māufal-taqāʿuyūnanl-arḍawafajjarnā
And We caused to burstthe earth(with) springsso metthe water(s)fora matteralreadypredestined
54:12
وَحَمَلْنَـٰهُعَلَىٰذَاتِأَلْوَٰحٍۢوَدُسُرٍۢ
wadusurinalwāḥindhātiʿalāwaḥamalnāhu
And We carried himon(ark) made of planks(ark) made of planksand nails
54:13
تَجْرِىبِأَعْيُنِنَاجَزَآءًۭلِّمَنكَانَكُفِرَ
kufirakānalimanjazāanbi-aʿyuninātajrī
Sailingbefore Our eyesa rewardfor (he) whowasdenied
54:14
وَلَقَدتَّرَكْنَـٰهَآءَايَةًۭفَهَلْمِنمُّدَّكِرٍۢ
muddakirinminfahalāyatantaraknāhāwalaqad
And certainlyWe left it(as) a Signso is (there)anywho will receive admonition
54:15
فَكَيْفَكَانَعَذَابِىوَنُذُرِ
wanudhuriʿadhābīkānafakayfa
So howwasMy punishmentand My warnings
54:16
وَلَقَدْيَسَّرْنَاٱلْقُرْءَانَلِلذِّكْرِفَهَلْمِنمُّدَّكِرٍۢ
muddakirinminfahallildhik'ril-qur'ānayassarnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe have made easythe Quranfor remembranceso is (there)anywho will receive admonition
54:17
كَذَّبَتْعَادٌۭفَكَيْفَكَانَعَذَابِىوَنُذُرِ
wanudhuriʿadhābīkānafakayfaʿādunkadhabat
DeniedAadso howwasMy punishmentand My warnings
54:18
إِنَّآأَرْسَلْنَاعَلَيْهِمْرِيحًۭاصَرْصَرًۭافِىيَوْمِنَحْسٍۢمُّسْتَمِرٍّۢ
mus'tamirrinnaḥsinyawmifīṣarṣaranrīḥanʿalayhimarsalnāinnā
Indeed, We[We] sentupon thema windfuriousona day(of) misfortunecontinuous
54:19
تَنزِعُٱلنَّاسَكَأَنَّهُمْأَعْجَازُنَخْلٍۢمُّنقَعِرٍۢ
munqaʿirinnakhlinaʿjāzuka-annahuml-nāsatanziʿu
Plucking outmenas if they (were)trunks(of) date-palmsuprooted
54:20
فَكَيْفَكَانَعَذَابِىوَنُذُرِ
wanudhuriʿadhābīkānafakayfa
So howwasMy punishmentand My warnings
54:21
وَلَقَدْيَسَّرْنَاٱلْقُرْءَانَلِلذِّكْرِفَهَلْمِنمُّدَّكِرٍۢ
muddakirinminfahallildhik'ril-qur'ānayassarnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe have made easythe Quranfor remembranceso is (there)anywho will receive admonition
54:22
كَذَّبَتْثَمُودُبِٱلنُّذُرِ
bil-nudhurithamūdukadhabat
DeniedThamudthe warnings
54:23
فَقَالُوٓا۟أَبَشَرًۭامِّنَّاوَٰحِدًۭانَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓإِنَّآإِذًۭالَّفِىضَلَـٰلٍۢوَسُعُرٍ
wasuʿurinḍalālinlafīidhaninnānattabiʿuhuwāḥidanminnāabasharanfaqālū
And saidIs (it) a human beingamong usone(that) we should follow himIndeed, wethen(will be) surely inerrorand madness
54:24
أَءُلْقِىَٱلذِّكْرُعَلَيْهِمِنۢبَيْنِنَابَلْهُوَكَذَّابٌأَشِرٌۭ
ashirunkadhābunhuwabalbaynināminʿalayhil-dhik'rua-ul'qiya
Has been sentthe Reminderto himfromamong usNayhe(is) a liarinsolent
54:25
سَيَعْلَمُونَغَدًۭامَّنِٱلْكَذَّابُٱلْأَشِرُ
l-ashirul-kadhābumanighadansayaʿlamūna
They will knowtomorrowwho(is) the liarthe insolent one
54:26
إِنَّامُرْسِلُوا۟ٱلنَّاقَةِفِتْنَةًۭلَّهُمْفَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْوَٱصْطَبِرْ
wa-iṣ'ṭabirfa-ir'taqib'humlahumfit'natanl-nāqatimur'silūinnā
Indeed, We(are) sendingthe she-camel(as) a trialfor themso watch themand be patient
54:27
وَنَبِّئْهُمْأَنَّٱلْمَآءَقِسْمَةٌۢبَيْنَهُمْ ۖكُلُّشِرْبٍۢمُّحْتَضَرٌۭ
muḥ'taḍarunshir'binkullubaynahumqis'matunl-māaannawanabbi'hum
And inform themthatthe water(is) to be sharedbetween themeachdrinkattended
54:28
فَنَادَوْا۟صَاحِبَهُمْفَتَعَاطَىٰفَعَقَرَ
faʿaqarafataʿāṭāṣāḥibahumfanādaw
But they calledtheir companionand he tookand hamstrung
54:29
فَكَيْفَكَانَعَذَابِىوَنُذُرِ
wanudhuriʿadhābīkānafakayfa
So howwasMy punishmentand My warnings
54:30
إِنَّآأَرْسَلْنَاعَلَيْهِمْصَيْحَةًۭوَٰحِدَةًۭفَكَانُوا۟كَهَشِيمِٱلْمُحْتَظِرِ
l-muḥ'taẓirikahashīmifakānūwāḥidatanṣayḥatanʿalayhimarsalnāinnā
Indeed, We[We] sentupon themthunderous blastsingleand they becamelike dry twig fragments(used by) a fence builder
54:31
وَلَقَدْيَسَّرْنَاٱلْقُرْءَانَلِلذِّكْرِفَهَلْمِنمُّدَّكِرٍۢ
muddakirinminfahallildhik'ril-qur'ānayassarnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe have made easythe Quranfor remembranceso is (there)anywho will receive admonition
54:32
كَذَّبَتْقَوْمُلُوطٍۭبِٱلنُّذُرِ
bil-nudhurilūṭinqawmukadhabat
Denied(the) people(of) Lutthe warnings
54:33
إِنَّآأَرْسَلْنَاعَلَيْهِمْحَاصِبًاإِلَّآءَالَلُوطٍۢ ۖنَّجَّيْنَـٰهُمبِسَحَرٍۢ
bisaḥarinnajjaynāhumlūṭinālaillāḥāṣibanʿalayhimarsalnāinnā
Indeed, We[We] sentupon thema storm of stonesexcept(the) family(of) LutWe saved themby dawn
54:34
نِّعْمَةًۭمِّنْعِندِنَا ۚكَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِىمَنشَكَرَ
shakaramannajzīkadhālikaʿindināminniʿ'matan
(As) a favorfromUsThusWe reward(one) who(is) grateful
54:35
وَلَقَدْأَنذَرَهُمبَطْشَتَنَافَتَمَارَوْا۟بِٱلنُّذُرِ
bil-nudhurifatamārawbaṭshatanāandharahumwalaqad
And certainlyhe warned them(of) Our seizurebut they disputedthe warnings
54:36
وَلَقَدْرَٰوَدُوهُعَنضَيْفِهِۦفَطَمَسْنَآأَعْيُنَهُمْفَذُوقُوا۟عَذَابِىوَنُذُرِ
wanudhuriʿadhābīfadhūqūaʿyunahumfaṭamasnāḍayfihiʿanrāwadūhuwalaqad
And certainlythey demanded from himthey demanded from himhis guestsso We blindedtheir eyesSo tasteMy punishmentand My warnings
54:37
وَلَقَدْصَبَّحَهُمبُكْرَةًعَذَابٌۭمُّسْتَقِرٌّۭ
mus'taqirrunʿadhābunbuk'ratanṣabbaḥahumwalaqad
And certainlyseized them in the morningearlya punishmentabiding
54:38
فَذُوقُوا۟عَذَابِىوَنُذُرِ
wanudhuriʿadhābīfadhūqū
So tasteMy punishmentand My warnings
54:39
وَلَقَدْيَسَّرْنَاٱلْقُرْءَانَلِلذِّكْرِفَهَلْمِنمُّدَّكِرٍۢ
muddakirinminfahallildhik'ril-qur'ānayassarnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe have made easythe Quranfor remembranceso is (there)anywho will receive admonition
54:40
وَلَقَدْجَآءَءَالَفِرْعَوْنَٱلنُّذُرُ
l-nudhurufir'ʿawnaālajāawalaqad
And certainlycame(to the) people(of) Firaunwarnings
54:41
كَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاكُلِّهَافَأَخَذْنَـٰهُمْأَخْذَعَزِيزٍۢمُّقْتَدِرٍ
muq'tadirinʿazīzinakhdhafa-akhadhnāhumkullihābiāyātinākadhabū
They deniedOur Signsall of themso We seized them(with) a seizure(of) All-Mighty(the) Powerful One
54:42
أَكُفَّارُكُمْخَيْرٌۭمِّنْأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكُمْأَمْلَكُمبَرَآءَةٌۭفِىٱلزُّبُرِ
l-zuburifībarāatunlakumamulāikumminkhayrunakuffārukum
Are your disbelieversbetterthanthoseorfor you(is) an exemptioninthe Scriptures
54:43
أَمْيَقُولُونَنَحْنُجَمِيعٌۭمُّنتَصِرٌۭ
muntaṣirunjamīʿunnaḥnuyaqūlūnaam
Or(do) they sayWe(are) an assemblyhelping (each other)
54:44
سَيُهْزَمُٱلْجَمْعُوَيُوَلُّونَٱلدُّبُرَ
l-duburawayuwallūnal-jamʿusayuh'zamu
Soon will be defeated(their) assemblyand they will turn(their) backs
54:45
بَلِٱلسَّاعَةُمَوْعِدُهُمْوَٱلسَّاعَةُأَدْهَىٰوَأَمَرُّ
wa-amarruadhāwal-sāʿatumawʿiduhuml-sāʿatubali
Naythe Hour(is) their promised timeand the Hour(will be) more grievousand more bitter
54:46
إِنَّٱلْمُجْرِمِينَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۢوَسُعُرٍۢ
wasuʿurinḍalālinfīl-muj'rimīnainna
Indeedthe criminals(are) inan errorand madness
54:47
يَوْمَيُسْحَبُونَفِىٱلنَّارِعَلَىٰوُجُوهِهِمْذُوقُوا۟مَسَّسَقَرَ
saqaramassadhūqūwujūhihimʿalāl-nārifīyus'ḥabūnayawma
(The) Daythey will be draggedintothe Fireontheir facesTaste(the) touch(of) Hell
54:48
إِنَّاكُلَّشَىْءٍخَلَقْنَـٰهُبِقَدَرٍۢ
biqadarinkhalaqnāhushayinkullainnā
Indeed, [We]everythingWe created itby a measure
54:49
وَمَآأَمْرُنَآإِلَّاوَٰحِدَةٌۭكَلَمْحٍۭبِٱلْبَصَرِ
bil-baṣarikalamḥinwāḥidatunillāamrunāwamā
And not(is) Our Commandbutonelike the twinkling(of) the eye
54:50
وَلَقَدْأَهْلَكْنَآأَشْيَاعَكُمْفَهَلْمِنمُّدَّكِرٍۢ
muddakirinminfahalashyāʿakumahlaknāwalaqad
And certainlyWe destroyedyour kindsso is (there)anywho will receive admonition
54:51
وَكُلُّشَىْءٍۢفَعَلُوهُفِىٱلزُّبُرِ
l-zuburifīfaʿalūhushayinwakullu
And everythingthey did(is) inthe written records
54:52
وَكُلُّصَغِيرٍۢوَكَبِيرٍۢمُّسْتَطَرٌ
mus'taṭarunwakabīrinṣaghīrinwakullu
And everysmalland big(is) written down
54:53
إِنَّٱلْمُتَّقِينَفِىجَنَّـٰتٍۢوَنَهَرٍۢ
wanaharinjannātinfīl-mutaqīnainna
Indeedthe righteous(will be) ingardensand river
54:54
فِىمَقْعَدِصِدْقٍعِندَمَلِيكٍۢمُّقْتَدِرٍۭ
muq'tadirinmalīkinʿindaṣid'qinmaqʿadifī
Ina seat(of) honorneara KingMost Powerful
54:55
Basmala
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
al-raḥmānu
The Most Gracious
55:1
عَلَّمَٱلْقُرْءَانَ
l-qur'ānaʿallama
He taughtthe Quran
55:2
خَلَقَٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ
l-insānakhalaqa
He created[the] man
55:3
عَلَّمَهُٱلْبَيَانَ
l-bayānaʿallamahu
He taught him[the] speech
55:4
ٱلشَّمْسُوَٱلْقَمَرُبِحُسْبَانٍۢ
biḥus'bāninwal-qamarual-shamsu
The sunand the moonby (precise) calculation
55:5
وَٱلنَّجْمُوَٱلشَّجَرُيَسْجُدَانِ
yasjudāniwal-shajaruwal-najmu
And the starsand the treesboth prostrate
55:6
وَٱلسَّمَآءَرَفَعَهَاوَوَضَعَٱلْمِيزَانَ
l-mīzānawawaḍaʿarafaʿahāwal-samāa
And the heavenHe raised itand He has set upthe balance
55:7
أَلَّاتَطْغَوْا۟فِىٱلْمِيزَانِ
l-mīzānifītaṭghawallā
That notyou may transgressinthe balance
55:8
وَأَقِيمُوا۟ٱلْوَزْنَبِٱلْقِسْطِوَلَاتُخْسِرُوا۟ٱلْمِيزَانَ
l-mīzānatukh'sirūwalābil-qis'ṭil-waznawa-aqīmū
And establishthe weightin justiceand (do) notmake deficientthe balance
55:9
وَٱلْأَرْضَوَضَعَهَالِلْأَنَامِ
lil'anāmiwaḍaʿahāwal-arḍa
And the earthHe laid itfor the creatures
55:10
فِيهَافَـٰكِهَةٌۭوَٱلنَّخْلُذَاتُٱلْأَكْمَامِ
l-akmāmidhātuwal-nakhlufākihatunfīhā
Therein(is) fruitand date-palmshavingsheaths
55:11
وَٱلْحَبُّذُوٱلْعَصْفِوَٱلرَّيْحَانُ
wal-rayḥānul-ʿaṣfidhūwal-ḥabu
And the grainhavinghuskand scented plants
55:12
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:13
خَلَقَٱلْإِنسَـٰنَمِنصَلْصَـٰلٍۢكَٱلْفَخَّارِ
kal-fakhāriṣalṣālinminl-insānakhalaqa
He createdthe manfromclaylike the pottery
55:14
وَخَلَقَٱلْجَآنَّمِنمَّارِجٍۢمِّننَّارٍۢ
nārinminmārijinminl-jānawakhalaqa
And He createdthe jinnfroma smokeless flameoffire
55:15
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:16
رَبُّٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِوَرَبُّٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
l-maghribayniwarabbul-mashriqaynirabbu
Lord(of) the two Eastsand Lord(of) the two Wests
55:17
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:18
مَرَجَٱلْبَحْرَيْنِيَلْتَقِيَانِ
yaltaqiyānil-baḥraynimaraja
He releasedthe two seasmeeting
55:19
بَيْنَهُمَابَرْزَخٌۭلَّايَبْغِيَانِ
yabghiyānilābarzakhunbaynahumā
Between both of them(is) a barriernotthey transgress
55:20
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:21
يَخْرُجُمِنْهُمَاٱللُّؤْلُؤُوَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
wal-marjānul-lu'lu-umin'humāyakhruju
Come forthfrom both of themthe pearland the coral
55:22
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:23
وَلَهُٱلْجَوَارِٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُفِىٱلْبَحْرِكَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ
kal-aʿlāmil-baḥrifīl-munshaātul-jawāriwalahu
And for Him(are) the shipselevatedinthe sealike mountains
55:24
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:25
كُلُّمَنْعَلَيْهَافَانٍۢ
fāninʿalayhāmankullu
Everyonewho(is) on it(will) perish
55:26
وَيَبْقَىٰوَجْهُرَبِّكَذُوٱلْجَلَـٰلِوَٱلْإِكْرَامِ
wal-ik'rāmil-jalālidhūrabbikawajhuwayabqā
But will remain(the) Face(of) your Lord(the) Owner(of) Majestyand Honor
55:27
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:28
يَسْـَٔلُهُۥمَنفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚكُلَّيَوْمٍهُوَفِىشَأْنٍۢ
shaninfīhuwayawminkullawal-arḍil-samāwātifīmanyasaluhu
Asks Himwhoever(is) inthe heavensand the earthEverydayHe(is) ina matter
55:29
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:30
سَنَفْرُغُلَكُمْأَيُّهَٱلثَّقَلَانِ
l-thaqalāniayyuhalakumsanafrughu
Soon We will attendto youO youtwo classes
55:31
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:32
يَـٰمَعْشَرَٱلْجِنِّوَٱلْإِنسِإِنِٱسْتَطَعْتُمْأَنتَنفُذُوا۟مِنْأَقْطَارِٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِفَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚلَاتَنفُذُونَإِلَّابِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ
bisul'ṭāninillātanfudhūnalāfa-unfudhūwal-arḍil-samāwātiaqṭārimintanfudhūanis'taṭaʿtuminiwal-insil-jiniyāmaʿshara
O assembly(of) the jinnand the menIfyou are abletopass beyond[of](the) regions(of) the heavensand the earththen passNotyou (can) passexceptby authority
55:33
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:34
يُرْسَلُعَلَيْكُمَاشُوَاظٌۭمِّننَّارٍۢوَنُحَاسٌۭفَلَاتَنتَصِرَانِ
tantaṣirānifalāwanuḥāsunnārinminshuwāẓunʿalaykumāyur'salu
Will be sentagainst both of youa flameoffireand smokeand notyou will (be able to) defend yourselves
55:35
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:36
فَإِذَاٱنشَقَّتِٱلسَّمَآءُفَكَانَتْوَرْدَةًۭكَٱلدِّهَانِ
kal-dihāniwardatanfakānatl-samāuinshaqqatifa-idhā
Then whenis splitthe heavenand it becomesrose-coloredlike murky oil
55:37
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:38
فَيَوْمَئِذٍۢلَّايُسْـَٔلُعَنذَنۢبِهِۦٓإِنسٌۭوَلَاجَآنٌّۭ
jānnunwalāinsundhanbihiʿanyus'alulāfayawma-idhin
Then (on) that Daynotwill be askedabouthis sinany manand notany jinn
55:39
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:40
يُعْرَفُٱلْمُجْرِمُونَبِسِيمَـٰهُمْفَيُؤْخَذُبِٱلنَّوَٰصِىوَٱلْأَقْدَامِ
wal-aqdāmibil-nawāṣīfayu'khadhubisīmāhuml-muj'rimūnayuʿ'rafu
Will be knownthe criminalsby their marksand will be seizedby the forelocksand the feet
55:41
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:42
هَـٰذِهِۦجَهَنَّمُٱلَّتِىيُكَذِّبُبِهَاٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
l-muj'rimūnabihāyukadhibuallatījahannamuhādhihi
This(is) Hellwhichdeny[of it]the criminals
55:43
يَطُوفُونَبَيْنَهَاوَبَيْنَحَمِيمٍءَانٍۢ
āninḥamīminwabaynabaynahāyaṭūfūna
They will go aroundbetween itand betweenscalding waterheated
55:44
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:45
وَلِمَنْخَافَمَقَامَرَبِّهِۦجَنَّتَانِ
jannatānirabbihimaqāmakhāfawaliman
But for (him) whofears(the) standing(before) his Lord(are) two gardens
55:46
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:47
ذَوَاتَآأَفْنَانٍۢ
afnānindhawātā
Havingbranches
55:48
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:49
فِيهِمَاعَيْنَانِتَجْرِيَانِ
tajriyāniʿaynānifīhimā
In both of them(are) two springsflowing
55:50
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:51
فِيهِمَامِنكُلِّفَـٰكِهَةٍۢزَوْجَانِ
zawjānifākihatinkulliminfīhimā
In both of them[of](are) everyfruits(in) pairs
55:52
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:53
مُتَّكِـِٔينَعَلَىٰفُرُشٍۭبَطَآئِنُهَامِنْإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ ۚوَجَنَىٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِدَانٍۢ
dāninl-janatayniwajanāis'tabraqinminbaṭāinuhāfurushinʿalāmuttakiīna
Recliningoncouches(whose) inner linings(are) ofbrocadeand (the) fruit(of) both the gardens(is) near
55:54
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:55
فِيهِنَّقَـٰصِرَٰتُٱلطَّرْفِلَمْيَطْمِثْهُنَّإِنسٌۭقَبْلَهُمْوَلَاجَآنٌّۭ
jānnunwalāqablahuminsunyaṭmith'hunnalaml-ṭarfiqāṣirātufīhinna
In them(will be) companions of modest gaze(will be) companions of modest gazenothas touched themany manbefore themand notany jinn
55:56
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:57
كَأَنَّهُنَّٱلْيَاقُوتُوَٱلْمَرْجَانُ
wal-marjānul-yāqūtuka-annahunna
As if they wererubiesand coral
55:58
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:59
هَلْجَزَآءُٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِإِلَّاٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُ
l-iḥ'sānuillāl-iḥ'sānijazāuhal
Is(the) rewardfor the goodbutgood
55:60
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:61
وَمِندُونِهِمَاجَنَّتَانِ
jannatānidūnihimāwamin
Besides these twoBesides these two(are) two gardens
55:62
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:63
مُدْهَآمَّتَانِ
mud'hāmmatāni
Dark green
55:64
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:65
فِيهِمَاعَيْنَانِنَضَّاخَتَانِ
naḍḍākhatāniʿaynānifīhimā
In both of them(are) two springsgushing forth
55:66
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:67
فِيهِمَافَـٰكِهَةٌۭوَنَخْلٌۭوَرُمَّانٌۭ
warummānunwanakhlunfākihatunfīhimā
In both of them(are) fruitsand date-palmsand pomegranates
55:68
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:69
فِيهِنَّخَيْرَٰتٌحِسَانٌۭ
ḥisānunkhayrātunfīhinna
In them(are) goodand beautiful ones
55:70
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:71
حُورٌۭمَّقْصُورَٰتٌۭفِىٱلْخِيَامِ
l-khiyāmifīmaqṣūrātunḥūrun
Fair onesrestrainedinthe pavilions
55:72
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:73
لَمْيَطْمِثْهُنَّإِنسٌۭقَبْلَهُمْوَلَاجَآنٌّۭ
jānnunwalāqablahuminsunyaṭmith'hunnalam
Nothas touched themany manbefore themand notany jinn
55:74
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:75
مُتَّكِـِٔينَعَلَىٰرَفْرَفٍخُضْرٍۢوَعَبْقَرِىٍّحِسَانٍۢ
ḥisāninwaʿabqariyyinkhuḍ'rinrafrafinʿalāmuttakiīna
Recliningoncushionsgreenand carpetsbeautiful
55:76
فَبِأَىِّءَالَآءِرَبِّكُمَاتُكَذِّبَانِ
tukadhibānirabbikumāālāifabi-ayyi
So which(of the) favors(of) your Lordwill you both deny
55:77
تَبَـٰرَكَٱسْمُرَبِّكَذِىٱلْجَلَـٰلِوَٱلْإِكْرَامِ
wal-ik'rāmil-jalālidhīrabbikaus'mutabāraka
Blessed is(the) name(of) your LordOwner(of) Majestyand Honor
55:78
Basmala
إِذَاوَقَعَتِٱلْوَاقِعَةُ
l-wāqiʿatuwaqaʿatiidhā
Whenoccursthe Event
56:1
لَيْسَلِوَقْعَتِهَاكَاذِبَةٌ

خَافِضَةٌۭرَّافِعَةٌ
rāfiʿatunkhāfiḍatun
Bringing downraising up
56:3
إِذَارُجَّتِٱلْأَرْضُرَجًّۭا
rajjanl-arḍurujjatiidhā
Whenwill be shakenthe earth(with) a shaking
56:4
وَبُسَّتِٱلْجِبَالُبَسًّۭا
bassanl-jibāluwabussati
And will be crumbledthe mountains(with awful) crumbling
56:5
فَكَانَتْهَبَآءًۭمُّنۢبَثًّۭا
munbathanhabāanfakānat
So they becomedust particlesdispersing
56:6
وَكُنتُمْأَزْوَٰجًۭاثَلَـٰثَةًۭ
thalāthatanazwājanwakuntum
And you will becomekindsthree
56:7
فَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْمَيْمَنَةِمَآأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ
l-maymanatiaṣḥābumāl-maymanatifa-aṣḥābu
Then (the) companions(of) the rightwhat(are the) companions(of) the right
56:8
وَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِمَآأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ
l-mashamatiaṣḥābumāl-mashamatiwa-aṣḥābu
And (the) companions(of) the leftwhat(are the) companions(of) the left
56:9
وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ
l-sābiqūnawal-sābiqūna
And the foremost(are) the foremost
56:10
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ
l-muqarabūnaulāika
Those(are) the nearest ones
56:11
فِىجَنَّـٰتِٱلنَّعِيمِ
l-naʿīmijannātifī
InGardens(of) Pleasure
56:12
ثُلَّةٌۭمِّنَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
l-awalīnaminathullatun
A companyofthe former (people)
56:13
وَقَلِيلٌۭمِّنَٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
l-ākhirīnaminawaqalīlun
And a fewofthe later (people)
56:14
عَلَىٰسُرُرٍۢمَّوْضُونَةٍۢ
mawḍūnatinsururinʿalā
Onthronesdecorated
56:15
مُّتَّكِـِٔينَعَلَيْهَامُتَقَـٰبِلِينَ
mutaqābilīnaʿalayhāmuttakiīna
Recliningon themfacing each other
56:16
يَطُوفُعَلَيْهِمْوِلْدَٰنٌۭمُّخَلَّدُونَ
mukhalladūnawil'dānunʿalayhimyaṭūfu
Will circulateamong themboysimmortal
56:17
بِأَكْوَابٍۢوَأَبَارِيقَوَكَأْسٍۢمِّنمَّعِينٍۢ
maʿīninminwakasinwa-abārīqabi-akwābin
With vesselsand jugsand a cupfroma flowing stream
56:18
لَّايُصَدَّعُونَعَنْهَاوَلَايُنزِفُونَ
yunzifūnawalāʿanhāyuṣaddaʿūnalā
Notthey will get headachetherefromand notthey will get intoxicated
56:19
وَفَـٰكِهَةٍۢمِّمَّايَتَخَيَّرُونَ
yatakhayyarūnamimmāwafākihatin
And fruitsof whatthey select
56:20
وَلَحْمِطَيْرٍۢمِّمَّايَشْتَهُونَ
yashtahūnamimmāṭayrinwalaḥmi
And (the) flesh(of) fowlsof whatthey desire
56:21
وَحُورٌعِينٌۭ
ʿīnunwaḥūrun
And fair ones(with) large eyes
56:22
كَأَمْثَـٰلِٱللُّؤْلُؤِٱلْمَكْنُونِ
l-maknūnil-lu'lu-ika-amthāli
Likepearlswell-protected
56:23
جَزَآءًۢبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūbimājazāan
A rewardfor whatthey used (to)do
56:24
لَايَسْمَعُونَفِيهَالَغْوًۭاوَلَاتَأْثِيمًا
tathīmanwalālaghwanfīhāyasmaʿūnalā
Notthey will hearthereinvain talkand notsinful (speech)
56:25
إِلَّاقِيلًۭاسَلَـٰمًۭاسَلَـٰمًۭا
salāmansalāmanqīlanillā
Excepta sayingPeacePeace
56:26
وَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْيَمِينِمَآأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْيَمِينِ
l-yamīniaṣḥābumāl-yamīniwa-aṣḥābu
And (the) companions(of) the rightwhat(are the) companions(of) the right
56:27
فِىسِدْرٍۢمَّخْضُودٍۢ
makhḍūdinsid'rinfī
Amonglote treesthornless
56:28
وَطَلْحٍۢمَّنضُودٍۢ
manḍūdinwaṭalḥin
And banana treeslayered
56:29
وَظِلٍّۢمَّمْدُودٍۢ
mamdūdinwaẓillin
And shadeextended
56:30
وَمَآءٍۢمَّسْكُوبٍۢ
maskūbinwamāin
And waterpoured forth
56:31
وَفَـٰكِهَةٍۢكَثِيرَةٍۢ
kathīratinwafākihatin
And fruitabundant
56:32
لَّامَقْطُوعَةٍۢوَلَامَمْنُوعَةٍۢ
mamnūʿatinwalāmaqṭūʿatinlā
Notlimitedand notforbidden
56:33
وَفُرُشٍۢمَّرْفُوعَةٍ
marfūʿatinwafurushin
And (on) couchesraised
56:34
إِنَّآأَنشَأْنَـٰهُنَّإِنشَآءًۭ
inshāananshanāhunnainnā
Indeed, We[We] have produced them(into) a creation
56:35
فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُنَّأَبْكَارًا
abkāranfajaʿalnāhunna
And We have made themvirgins
56:36
عُرُبًاأَتْرَابًۭا
atrābanʿuruban
Devotedequals in age
56:37
لِّأَصْحَـٰبِٱلْيَمِينِ
l-yamīnili-aṣḥābi
For (the) companions(of) the right
56:38
ثُلَّةٌۭمِّنَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
l-awalīnaminathullatun
A companyofthe former people
56:39
وَثُلَّةٌۭمِّنَٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
l-ākhirīnaminawathullatun
And a companyofthe later people
56:40
وَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلشِّمَالِمَآأَصْحَـٰبُٱلشِّمَالِ
l-shimāliaṣḥābumāl-shimāliwa-aṣḥābu
And (the) companions(of) the leftwhat(are the) companions(of) the left
56:41
فِىسَمُومٍۢوَحَمِيمٍۢ
waḥamīminsamūminfī
Inscorching fireand scalding water
56:42
وَظِلٍّۢمِّنيَحْمُومٍۢ
yaḥmūminminwaẓillin
And a shadeofblack smoke
56:43
لَّابَارِدٍۢوَلَاكَرِيمٍ
karīminwalābāridinlā
Notcooland notpleasant
56:44
إِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟قَبْلَذَٰلِكَمُتْرَفِينَ
mut'rafīnadhālikaqablakānūinnahum
Indeed, theywerebeforethatindulging in affluence
56:45
وَكَانُوا۟يُصِرُّونَعَلَىٱلْحِنثِٱلْعَظِيمِ
l-ʿaẓīmil-ḥinthiʿalāyuṣirrūnawakānū
And werepersistinginthe sinthe great
56:46
وَكَانُوا۟يَقُولُونَأَئِذَامِتْنَاوَكُنَّاتُرَابًۭاوَعِظَـٰمًاأَءِنَّالَمَبْعُوثُونَ
lamabʿūthūnaa-innāwaʿiẓāmanturābanwakunnāmit'nāa-idhāyaqūlūnawakānū
And they used (to)sayWhenwe dieand becomedustand boneswill wesurely be resurrected
56:47
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَاٱلْأَوَّلُونَ
l-awalūnaawaābāunā
And also our fathersformer
56:48
قُلْإِنَّٱلْأَوَّلِينَوَٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
wal-ākhirīnal-awalīnainnaqul
SayIndeedthe formerand the later people
56:49
لَمَجْمُوعُونَإِلَىٰمِيقَـٰتِيَوْمٍۢمَّعْلُومٍۢ
maʿlūminyawminmīqātiilālamajmūʿūna
Surely, will be gatheredfor(the) appointment(of) a Daywell-known
56:50
ثُمَّإِنَّكُمْأَيُّهَاٱلضَّآلُّونَٱلْمُكَذِّبُونَ
l-mukadhibūnal-ḍālūnaayyuhāinnakumthumma
Thenindeed youO those astrayO those astraythe deniers
56:51
لَـَٔاكِلُونَمِنشَجَرٍۢمِّنزَقُّومٍۢ
zaqqūminminshajarinminlaākilūna
Will surely eatfrom(the) treeofZaqqum
56:52
فَمَالِـُٔونَمِنْهَاٱلْبُطُونَ
l-buṭūnamin'hāfamāliūna
Then will fillwith itthe bellies
56:53
فَشَـٰرِبُونَعَلَيْهِمِنَٱلْحَمِيمِ
l-ḥamīmiminaʿalayhifashāribūna
And drinkover it[from]the scalding water
56:54
فَشَـٰرِبُونَشُرْبَٱلْهِيمِ
l-hīmishur'bafashāribūna
And will drink(as) drinking(of) the thirsty camels
56:55
هَـٰذَانُزُلُهُمْيَوْمَٱلدِّينِ
l-dīniyawmanuzuluhumhādhā
This(is) their hospitality(on the) Day(of) Judgment
56:56
نَحْنُخَلَقْنَـٰكُمْفَلَوْلَاتُصَدِّقُونَ
tuṣaddiqūnafalawlākhalaqnākumnaḥnu
We[We] created youso why (do) notyou admit the truth
56:57
أَفَرَءَيْتُممَّاتُمْنُونَ
tum'nūnamāafara-aytum
Do you seewhatyou emit
56:58
ءَأَنتُمْتَخْلُقُونَهُۥٓأَمْنَحْنُٱلْخَـٰلِقُونَ
l-khāliqūnanaḥnuamtakhluqūnahua-antum
Is it youwho create itor(are) Wethe Creators
56:59
نَحْنُقَدَّرْنَابَيْنَكُمُٱلْمَوْتَوَمَانَحْنُبِمَسْبُوقِينَ
bimasbūqīnanaḥnuwamāl-mawtabaynakumuqaddarnānaḥnu
We[We] have decreedamong youthe deathand notWe(are) outrun
56:60
عَلَىٰٓأَننُّبَدِّلَأَمْثَـٰلَكُمْوَنُنشِئَكُمْفِىمَالَاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalāmāfīwanunshi-akumamthālakumnubaddilaanʿalā
InthatWe (will) changeyour likeness[es]and produce youinwhatnotyou know
56:61
وَلَقَدْعَلِمْتُمُٱلنَّشْأَةَٱلْأُولَىٰفَلَوْلَاتَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkarūnafalawlāl-ūlāl-nashataʿalim'tumuwalaqad
And certainlyyou knowthe creationthe firstso why notyou take heed
56:62
أَفَرَءَيْتُممَّاتَحْرُثُونَ
taḥruthūnamāafara-aytum
And do you seewhatyou sow
56:63
ءَأَنتُمْتَزْرَعُونَهُۥٓأَمْنَحْنُٱلزَّٰرِعُونَ
l-zāriʿūnanaḥnuamtazraʿūnahua-antum
Is it you (who)cause it to growor(are) Wethe Ones Who grow
56:64
لَوْنَشَآءُلَجَعَلْنَـٰهُحُطَـٰمًۭافَظَلْتُمْتَفَكَّهُونَ
tafakkahūnafaẓaltumḥuṭāmanlajaʿalnāhunashāulaw
IfWe willedWe (would) surely, make itdebristhen you would remainwondering
56:65
إِنَّالَمُغْرَمُونَ
lamugh'ramūnainnā
Indeed, wesurely are laden with debt
56:66
بَلْنَحْنُمَحْرُومُونَ
maḥrūmūnanaḥnubal
Naywe(are) deprived
56:67
أَفَرَءَيْتُمُٱلْمَآءَٱلَّذِىتَشْرَبُونَ
tashrabūnaalladhīl-māaafara-aytumu
Do you seethe waterwhichyou drink
56:68
ءَأَنتُمْأَنزَلْتُمُوهُمِنَٱلْمُزْنِأَمْنَحْنُٱلْمُنزِلُونَ
l-munzilūnanaḥnuaml-muz'niminaanzaltumūhua-antum
Is it youwho send it downfromthe rain cloudsorWe(are) the Ones to send
56:69
لَوْنَشَآءُجَعَلْنَـٰهُأُجَاجًۭافَلَوْلَاتَشْكُرُونَ
tashkurūnafalawlāujājanjaʿalnāhunashāulaw
IfWe willedWe (could) make itsaltythen why are you not gratefulthen why are you not grateful
56:70
أَفَرَءَيْتُمُٱلنَّارَٱلَّتِىتُورُونَ
tūrūnaallatīl-nāraafara-aytumu
Do you seethe Firewhichyou ignite
56:71
ءَأَنتُمْأَنشَأْتُمْشَجَرَتَهَآأَمْنَحْنُٱلْمُنشِـُٔونَ
l-munshiūnanaḥnuamshajaratahāanshatuma-antum
Is it youwho producedits treeorWe(are) the Producers
56:72
نَحْنُجَعَلْنَـٰهَاتَذْكِرَةًۭوَمَتَـٰعًۭالِّلْمُقْوِينَ
lil'muq'wīnawamatāʿantadhkiratanjaʿalnāhānaḥnu
Wehave made ita reminderand a provisionfor the wayfarers in the desert
56:73
فَسَبِّحْبِٱسْمِرَبِّكَٱلْعَظِيمِ
l-ʿaẓīmirabbikabi-is'mifasabbiḥ
So glorify(the) name(of) your Lordthe Most Great
56:74
۞ فَلَآأُقْسِمُبِمَوَٰقِعِٱلنُّجُومِ
l-nujūmibimawāqiʿiuq'simufalā
But nayI swearby setting(of) the stars
56:75
وَإِنَّهُۥلَقَسَمٌۭلَّوْتَعْلَمُونَعَظِيمٌ
ʿaẓīmuntaʿlamūnalawlaqasamunwa-innahu
And indeed, it(is) surely an oathifyou know great
56:76
إِنَّهُۥلَقُرْءَانٌۭكَرِيمٌۭ
karīmunlaqur'ānuninnahu
Indeed, it(is) surely, a Qurannoble
56:77
فِىكِتَـٰبٍۢمَّكْنُونٍۢ
maknūninkitābinfī
Ina Bookwell-guarded
56:78
لَّايَمَسُّهُۥٓإِلَّاٱلْمُطَهَّرُونَ
l-muṭaharūnaillāyamassuhulā
Nonetouch itexceptthe purified
56:79
تَنزِيلٌۭمِّنرَّبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbimintanzīlun
A Revelationfrom(the) Lord(of) the worlds
56:80
أَفَبِهَـٰذَاٱلْحَدِيثِأَنتُممُّدْهِنُونَ
mud'hinūnaantuml-ḥadīthiafabihādhā
Then is it to thisstatementthat you(are) indifferent
56:81
وَتَجْعَلُونَرِزْقَكُمْأَنَّكُمْتُكَذِّبُونَ
tukadhibūnaannakumriz'qakumwatajʿalūna
And you makeyour provisionthat youdeny
56:82
فَلَوْلَآإِذَابَلَغَتِٱلْحُلْقُومَ
l-ḥul'qūmabalaghatiidhāfalawlā
Then why notwhenit reachesthe throat
56:83
وَأَنتُمْحِينَئِذٍۢتَنظُرُونَ
tanẓurūnaḥīna-idhinwa-antum
And you(at) that timelook on
56:84
وَنَحْنُأَقْرَبُإِلَيْهِمِنكُمْوَلَـٰكِنلَّاتُبْصِرُونَ
tub'ṣirūnalāwalākinminkumilayhiaqrabuwanaḥnu
And We(are) nearerto himthan youbutyou (do) not seeyou (do) not see
56:85
فَلَوْلَآإِنكُنتُمْغَيْرَمَدِينِينَ
madīnīnaghayrakuntuminfalawlā
Then why notifyou arenotto be recompensed
56:86
تَرْجِعُونَهَآإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntumintarjiʿūnahā
Bring it backifyou aretruthful
56:87
فَأَمَّآإِنكَانَمِنَٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ
l-muqarabīnaminakānainfa-ammā
Thenifhe wasofthose brought near
56:88
فَرَوْحٌۭوَرَيْحَانٌۭوَجَنَّتُنَعِيمٍۢ
naʿīminwajannatuwarayḥānunfarawḥun
Then restand bountyand a Garden(of) Pleasure
56:89
وَأَمَّآإِنكَانَمِنْأَصْحَـٰبِٱلْيَمِينِ
l-yamīniaṣḥābiminkānainwa-ammā
Andifhe wasof(the) companions(of) the right
56:90
فَسَلَـٰمٌۭلَّكَمِنْأَصْحَـٰبِٱلْيَمِينِ
l-yamīniaṣḥābiminlakafasalāmun
Then, peacefor you[from](the) companions(of) the right
56:91
وَأَمَّآإِنكَانَمِنَٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَٱلضَّآلِّينَ
l-ḍālīnal-mukadhibīnaminakānainwa-ammā
Butifhe wasofthe deniersthe astray
56:92
فَنُزُلٌۭمِّنْحَمِيمٍۢ
ḥamīminminfanuzulun
Then, hospitalityof(the) scalding water
56:93
وَتَصْلِيَةُجَحِيمٍ
jaḥīminwataṣliyatu
And burning(in) Hellfire
56:94
إِنَّهَـٰذَالَهُوَحَقُّٱلْيَقِينِ
l-yaqīniḥaqqulahuwahādhāinna
Indeedthissurely, it(is the) truthcertain
56:95
فَسَبِّحْبِٱسْمِرَبِّكَٱلْعَظِيمِ
l-ʿaẓīmirabbikabi-is'mifasabbiḥ
So glorify(the) name(of) your Lordthe Most Great
56:96
Basmala
سَبَّحَلِلَّهِمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖوَهُوَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿazīzuwahuwawal-arḍil-samāwātifīmālillahisabbaḥa
Glorifies[to] Allahwhatever(is) inthe heavensand the earthand He(is) the All-Mightythe All-Wise
57:1
لَهُۥمُلْكُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖيُحْىِۦوَيُمِيتُ ۖوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرٌ
qadīrunshayinkulliʿalāwahuwawayumītuyuḥ'yīwal-arḍil-samāwātimul'kulahu
For Him(is the) dominion(of) the heavensand the earthHe gives lifeand causes deathand He(is) overallthingsAll-Powerful
57:2
هُوَٱلْأَوَّلُوَٱلْـَٔاخِرُوَٱلظَّـٰهِرُوَٱلْبَاطِنُ ۖوَهُوَبِكُلِّشَىْءٍعَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmunshayinbikulliwahuwawal-bāṭinuwal-ẓāhiruwal-ākhirul-awaluhuwa
He(is) the Firstand the Lastand the Apparentand the Unapparentand He(is) of everythingAll-Knower
57:3
هُوَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَفِىسِتَّةِأَيَّامٍۢثُمَّٱسْتَوَىٰعَلَىٱلْعَرْشِ ۚيَعْلَمُمَايَلِجُفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَمَايَخْرُجُمِنْهَاوَمَايَنزِلُمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِوَمَايَعْرُجُفِيهَا ۖوَهُوَمَعَكُمْأَيْنَمَاكُنتُمْ ۚوَٱللَّهُبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَبَصِيرٌۭ
baṣīruntaʿmalūnabimāwal-lahukuntummāaynamaʿakumwahuwafīhāyaʿrujuwamāl-samāiminayanziluwamāmin'hāyakhrujuwamāl-arḍifīyalijumāyaʿlamul-ʿarshiʿalāis'tawāthummaayyāminsittatifīwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqaalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whocreatedthe heavensand the earthinsixperiodsthenHe roseoverthe ThroneHe knowswhatpenetratesin(to)the earthand whatcomes forthfrom itand whatdescendsfromthe heavenand whatascendsthereinand He(is) with youwhereverwhereveryou areAnd Allahof whatyou do(is) All-seer
57:4
لَّهُۥمُلْكُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚوَإِلَىٱللَّهِتُرْجَعُٱلْأُمُورُ
l-umūrutur'jaʿul-lahiwa-ilāwal-arḍil-samāwātimul'kulahu
For Him(is the) dominion(of) the heavensand the earthand toAllahwill be returnedthe matters
57:5
يُولِجُٱلَّيْلَفِىٱلنَّهَارِوَيُولِجُٱلنَّهَارَفِىٱلَّيْلِ ۚوَهُوَعَلِيمٌۢبِذَاتِٱلصُّدُورِ
l-ṣudūribidhātiʿalīmunwahuwaal-laylifīl-nahārawayūlijul-nahārifīal-laylayūliju
He mergesthe nightintothe dayand He mergesthe dayintothe nightand He(is) All-Knowerof what is in the breastsof what is in the breasts
57:6
ءَامِنُوا۟بِٱللَّهِوَرَسُولِهِۦوَأَنفِقُوا۟مِمَّاجَعَلَكُممُّسْتَخْلَفِينَفِيهِ ۖفَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟مِنكُمْوَأَنفَقُوا۟لَهُمْأَجْرٌۭكَبِيرٌۭ
kabīrunajrunlahumwa-anfaqūminkumāmanūfa-alladhīnafīhimus'takhlafīnajaʿalakummimmāwa-anfiqūwarasūlihibil-lahiāminū
Believein Allahand His Messengerand spendof whatHe has made youtrusteesthereinAnd thosewho believeamong youand spendfor them(is) a rewardgreat
57:7
وَمَالَكُمْلَاتُؤْمِنُونَبِٱللَّهِ ۙوَٱلرَّسُولُيَدْعُوكُمْلِتُؤْمِنُوا۟بِرَبِّكُمْوَقَدْأَخَذَمِيثَـٰقَكُمْإِنكُنتُممُّؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīnakuntuminmīthāqakumakhadhawaqadbirabbikumlitu'minūyadʿūkumwal-rasūlubil-lahitu'minūnalālakumwamā
And what(is) for you(that) notyou believein Allahwhile the Messengercalls youthat you believein your Lordand indeedHe has takenyour covenantifyou arebelievers
57:8
هُوَٱلَّذِىيُنَزِّلُعَلَىٰعَبْدِهِۦٓءَايَـٰتٍۭبَيِّنَـٰتٍۢلِّيُخْرِجَكُممِّنَٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِإِلَىٱلنُّورِ ۚوَإِنَّٱللَّهَبِكُمْلَرَءُوفٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunlaraūfunbikuml-lahawa-innal-nūriilāl-ẓulumātiminaliyukh'rijakumbayyinātināyātinʿabdihiʿalāyunazzilualladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whosends downuponHis slaveVersesclearthat He may bring you outfromthe darkness[es]intothe lightAnd indeedAllahto you(is the) Most Kind(the) Most Merciful
57:9
وَمَالَكُمْأَلَّاتُنفِقُوا۟فِىسَبِيلِٱللَّهِوَلِلَّهِمِيرَٰثُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚلَايَسْتَوِىمِنكُممَّنْأَنفَقَمِنقَبْلِٱلْفَتْحِوَقَـٰتَلَ ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَعْظَمُدَرَجَةًۭمِّنَٱلَّذِينَأَنفَقُوا۟مِنۢبَعْدُوَقَـٰتَلُوا۟ ۚوَكُلًّۭاوَعَدَٱللَّهُٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚوَٱللَّهُبِمَاتَعْمَلُونَخَبِيرٌۭ
khabīruntaʿmalūnabimāwal-lahul-ḥus'nāl-lahuwaʿadawakullanwaqātalūbaʿduminanfaqūalladhīnaminadarajatanaʿẓamuulāikawaqātalal-fatḥiqabliminanfaqamanminkumyastawīlāwal-arḍil-samāwātimīrāthuwalillahil-lahisabīlifītunfiqūallālakumwamā
And what(is) for youthat notyou spendin(the) way(of) Allahwhile for Allah(is the) heritage(of) the heavensand the earthNotare equalamong you(those) whospentbeforebeforethe victoryand foughtThose(are) greater(in) degreethanthose whospentafterwardsafterwardsand foughtBut to allAllah has promisedAllah has promisedthe bestAnd Allahof whatyou do(is) All-Aware
57:10
مَّنذَاٱلَّذِىيُقْرِضُٱللَّهَقَرْضًاحَسَنًۭافَيُضَـٰعِفَهُۥلَهُۥوَلَهُۥٓأَجْرٌۭكَرِيمٌۭ
karīmunajrunwalahulahufayuḍāʿifahuḥasananqarḍanl-lahayuq'riḍualladhīdhāman
Who (is)the one whothe one whowill loan(to) Allaha loangoodlyso He will multiply itfor himand for him(is) a rewardnoble
57:11
يَوْمَتَرَىٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَوَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِيَسْعَىٰنُورُهُمبَيْنَأَيْدِيهِمْوَبِأَيْمَـٰنِهِمبُشْرَىٰكُمُٱلْيَوْمَجَنَّـٰتٌۭتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَا ۚذَٰلِكَهُوَٱلْفَوْزُٱلْعَظِيمُ
l-ʿaẓīmul-fawzuhuwadhālikafīhākhālidīnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrījannātunl-yawmabush'rākumuwabi-aymānihimaydīhimbaynanūruhumyasʿāwal-mu'minātil-mu'minīnatarāyawma
(On the) Dayyou will seethe believing menand the believing womenrunningtheir lightbefore thembefore themand on their rightGlad tidings for youthis Day gardensflowingfromunderneath itthe riversabiding foreverthereinThat[it] (is)the successthe great
57:12
يَوْمَيَقُولُٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَوَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتُلِلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ٱنظُرُونَانَقْتَبِسْمِننُّورِكُمْقِيلَٱرْجِعُوا۟وَرَآءَكُمْفَٱلْتَمِسُوا۟نُورًۭافَضُرِبَبَيْنَهُمبِسُورٍۢلَّهُۥبَابٌۢبَاطِنُهُۥفِيهِٱلرَّحْمَةُوَظَـٰهِرُهُۥمِنقِبَلِهِٱلْعَذَابُ
l-ʿadhābuqibalihiminwaẓāhiruhul-raḥmatufīhibāṭinuhubābunlahubisūrinbaynahumfaḍuribanūranfal-tamisūwarāakumir'jiʿūqīlanūrikumminnaqtabisunẓurūnāāmanūlilladhīnawal-munāfiqātul-munāfiqūnayaqūluyawma
(On the) Daywill saythe hypocrite menand the hypocrite womento those whobelievedWait for uswe may acquireofyour lightIt will be saidGo backbehind youand seeklightThen will be put upbetween thema wallfor ita gateits interiorin it(is) mercybut its exteriorfacing towards [it]facing towards [it]the punishment
57:13
يُنَادُونَهُمْأَلَمْنَكُنمَّعَكُمْ ۖقَالُوا۟بَلَىٰوَلَـٰكِنَّكُمْفَتَنتُمْأَنفُسَكُمْوَتَرَبَّصْتُمْوَٱرْتَبْتُمْوَغَرَّتْكُمُٱلْأَمَانِىُّحَتَّىٰجَآءَأَمْرُٱللَّهِوَغَرَّكُمبِٱللَّهِٱلْغَرُورُ
l-gharūrubil-lahiwagharrakuml-lahiamrujāaḥattāl-amāniyuwagharratkumuwa-ir'tabtumwatarabbaṣtumanfusakumfatantumwalākinnakumbalāqālūmaʿakumnakunalamyunādūnahum
They will call themWere notwewith youThey will sayYesbut youled to temptationyourselvesand you awaitedand you doubtedand deceived youthe wishful thinkinguntilcame(the) Command(of) AllahAnd deceived youabout Allahthe deceiver
57:14
فَٱلْيَوْمَلَايُؤْخَذُمِنكُمْفِدْيَةٌۭوَلَامِنَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟ ۚمَأْوَىٰكُمُٱلنَّارُ ۖهِىَمَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۖوَبِئْسَٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīruwabi'samawlākumhiyal-nārumawākumukafarūalladhīnaminawalāfid'yatunminkumyu'khadhulāfal-yawma
So todaynotwill be acceptedfrom youany ransomand notfromthose whodisbelievedYour abode(is) the Fireit (is)your protectorand wretched isthe destination
57:15
۞ أَلَمْيَأْنِلِلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟أَنتَخْشَعَقُلُوبُهُمْلِذِكْرِٱللَّهِوَمَانَزَلَمِنَٱلْحَقِّوَلَايَكُونُوا۟كَٱلَّذِينَأُوتُوا۟ٱلْكِتَـٰبَمِنقَبْلُفَطَالَعَلَيْهِمُٱلْأَمَدُفَقَسَتْقُلُوبُهُمْ ۖوَكَثِيرٌۭمِّنْهُمْفَـٰسِقُونَ
fāsiqūnamin'humwakathīrunqulūbuhumfaqasatl-amaduʿalayhimufaṭālaqabluminl-kitābaūtūka-alladhīnayakūnūwalāl-ḥaqiminanazalawamāl-lahilidhik'riqulūbuhumtakhshaʿaanāmanūlilladhīnayanialam
Has notcome (the) timefor those whobelievedthatbecome humbletheir heartsat (the) remembrance (of) Allahat (the) remembrance (of) Allahand whathas come downofthe truthAnd notthey becomelike those whowere giventhe Bookbeforebefore(and) was prolongedfor themthe termso hardenedtheir heartsand manyof them(are) defiantly disobedient
57:16
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَيُحْىِٱلْأَرْضَبَعْدَمَوْتِهَا ۚقَدْبَيَّنَّالَكُمُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلَعَلَّكُمْتَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūnalaʿallakuml-āyātilakumubayyannāqadmawtihābaʿdal-arḍayuḥ'yīl-lahaannaiʿ'lamū
KnowthatAllahgives life(to) the earthafterits deathIndeedWe have made clearto youthe Signsso that you mayunderstand
57:17
إِنَّٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَوَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَـٰتِوَأَقْرَضُوا۟ٱللَّهَقَرْضًاحَسَنًۭايُضَـٰعَفُلَهُمْوَلَهُمْأَجْرٌۭكَرِيمٌۭ
karīmunajrunwalahumlahumyuḍāʿafuḥasananqarḍanl-lahawa-aqraḍūwal-muṣadiqātil-muṣadiqīnainna
Indeedthe men who give charityand the women who give charityand who lend(to) Allaha loangoodlyit will be multipliedfor themand for them(is) a rewardnoble
57:18
وَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟بِٱللَّهِوَرُسُلِهِۦٓأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ ۖوَٱلشُّهَدَآءُعِندَرَبِّهِمْلَهُمْأَجْرُهُمْوَنُورُهُمْ ۖوَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْجَحِيمِ
l-jaḥīmiaṣḥābuulāikabiāyātināwakadhabūkafarūwa-alladhīnawanūruhumajruhumlahumrabbihimʿindawal-shuhadāul-ṣidīqūnahumuulāikawarusulihibil-lahiāmanūwa-alladhīna
And those whobelievein Allahand His Messengers[those]they(are) the truthfuland the martyrs(are) withtheir LordFor them(is) their rewardand their lightBut those whodisbelieveand denyOur Versesthose(are the) companions(of) the Hellfire
57:19
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّمَاٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَالَعِبٌۭوَلَهْوٌۭوَزِينَةٌۭوَتَفَاخُرٌۢبَيْنَكُمْوَتَكَاثُرٌۭفِىٱلْأَمْوَٰلِوَٱلْأَوْلَـٰدِ ۖكَمَثَلِغَيْثٍأَعْجَبَٱلْكُفَّارَنَبَاتُهُۥثُمَّيَهِيجُفَتَرَىٰهُمُصْفَرًّۭاثُمَّيَكُونُحُطَـٰمًۭا ۖوَفِىٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِعَذَابٌۭشَدِيدٌۭوَمَغْفِرَةٌۭمِّنَٱللَّهِوَرِضْوَٰنٌۭ ۚوَمَاٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَآإِلَّامَتَـٰعُٱلْغُرُورِ
l-ghurūrimatāʿuillāl-dun'yāl-ḥayatuwamāwariḍ'wānunl-lahiminawamaghfiratunshadīdunʿadhābunl-ākhiratiwafīḥuṭāmanyakūnuthummamuṣ'farranfatarāhuyahījuthummanabātuhul-kufāraaʿjabaghaythinkamathaliwal-awlādil-amwālifīwatakāthurunbaynakumwatafākhurunwazīnatunwalahwunlaʿibunl-dun'yāl-ḥayatuannamāiʿ'lamū
Knowthatthe life(of) the world(is) playand amusementand adornmentand boastingamong youand competition in increaseofthe wealthand the childrenlike (the) example(of) a rainpleasesthe tillersits growththenit driesand you see itturning yellowthenbecomesdebrisAnd inthe Hereafter(is) a punishmentsevereand forgivenessfromAllahand PleasureBut not(is) the life(of) the worldexcept(the) enjoyment(of) delusion
57:20
سَابِقُوٓا۟إِلَىٰمَغْفِرَةٍۢمِّنرَّبِّكُمْوَجَنَّةٍعَرْضُهَاكَعَرْضِٱلسَّمَآءِوَٱلْأَرْضِأُعِدَّتْلِلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟بِٱللَّهِوَرُسُلِهِۦ ۚذَٰلِكَفَضْلُٱللَّهِيُؤْتِيهِمَنيَشَآءُ ۚوَٱللَّهُذُوٱلْفَضْلِٱلْعَظِيمِ
l-ʿaẓīmil-faḍlidhūwal-lahuyashāumanyu'tīhil-lahifaḍludhālikawarusulihibil-lahiāmanūlilladhīnauʿiddatwal-arḍil-samāikaʿarḍiʿarḍuhāwajannatinrabbikumminmaghfiratinilāsābiqū
Raceto(the) forgivenessfromyour Lordand a Gardenits width(is) like (the) width(of) the heavenand the earthpreparedfor those whobelievein Allahand His MessengersThat(is the) Bounty(of) AllahHe gives(to) whomHe willsAnd Allah(is) the Possessor of Bounty(is) the Possessor of Bountythe Great
57:21
مَآأَصَابَمِنمُّصِيبَةٍۢفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَلَافِىٓأَنفُسِكُمْإِلَّافِىكِتَـٰبٍۢمِّنقَبْلِأَننَّبْرَأَهَآ ۚإِنَّذَٰلِكَعَلَىٱللَّهِيَسِيرٌۭ
yasīrunl-lahiʿalādhālikainnanabra-ahāanqabliminkitābinfīillāanfusikumfīwalāl-arḍifīmuṣībatinminaṣābamā
Notstrikesanydisasterinthe earthand notinyourselvesbutina RegisterbeforebeforethatWe bring it into existenceIndeedthatforAllah(is) easy
57:22
لِّكَيْلَاتَأْسَوْا۟عَلَىٰمَافَاتَكُمْوَلَاتَفْرَحُوا۟بِمَآءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۗوَٱللَّهُلَايُحِبُّكُلَّمُخْتَالٍۢفَخُورٍ
fakhūrinmukh'tālinkullayuḥibbulāwal-lahuātākumbimātafraḥūwalāfātakummāʿalātasawlikaylā
So that you may notgrieveoverwhathas escaped youand (do) notexultat whatHe has given youAnd Allah(does) notloveeveryself-deludedboaster
57:23
ٱلَّذِينَيَبْخَلُونَوَيَأْمُرُونَٱلنَّاسَبِٱلْبُخْلِ ۗوَمَنيَتَوَلَّفَإِنَّٱللَّهَهُوَٱلْغَنِىُّٱلْحَمِيدُ
l-ḥamīdul-ghaniyuhuwal-lahafa-innayatawallawamanbil-bukh'lil-nāsawayamurūnayabkhalūnaalladhīna
Those whoare stingyand enjoin(on) the peoplestinginessAnd whoeverturns awaythen indeedAllahHe(is) Free of needthe Praiseworthy
57:24
لَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَارُسُلَنَابِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِوَأَنزَلْنَامَعَهُمُٱلْكِتَـٰبَوَٱلْمِيزَانَلِيَقُومَٱلنَّاسُبِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖوَأَنزَلْنَاٱلْحَدِيدَفِيهِبَأْسٌۭشَدِيدٌۭوَمَنَـٰفِعُلِلنَّاسِوَلِيَعْلَمَٱللَّهُمَنيَنصُرُهُۥوَرُسُلَهُۥبِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَقَوِىٌّعَزِيزٌۭ
ʿazīzunqawiyyunl-lahainnabil-ghaybiwarusulahuyanṣuruhumanl-lahuwaliyaʿlamalilnnāsiwamanāfiʿushadīdunbasunfīhil-ḥadīdawa-anzalnābil-qis'ṭil-nāsuliyaqūmawal-mīzānal-kitābamaʿahumuwa-anzalnābil-bayinātirusulanāarsalnālaqad
CertainlyWe sentOur Messengerswith clear proofsand We sent downwith themthe Scriptureand the Balancethat may establishthe peoplejusticeAnd We sent down[the] ironwherein(is) powermightyand benefitsfor the peopleand so that Allah may make evidentand so that Allah may make evident(he) whohelps Himand His MessengersunseenIndeedAllah(is) All-StrongAll-Mighty
57:25
وَلَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَانُوحًۭاوَإِبْرَٰهِيمَوَجَعَلْنَافِىذُرِّيَّتِهِمَاٱلنُّبُوَّةَوَٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ۖفَمِنْهُممُّهْتَدٍۢ ۖوَكَثِيرٌۭمِّنْهُمْفَـٰسِقُونَ
fāsiqūnamin'humwakathīrunmuh'tadinfamin'humwal-kitābal-nubuwatadhurriyyatihimāfīwajaʿalnāwa-ib'rāhīmanūḥanarsalnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe sentNuhand Ibrahimand We placedintheir offspringProphethoodand the Scriptureand among them(is) a guided onebut mostof them(are) defiantly disobediently
57:26
ثُمَّقَفَّيْنَاعَلَىٰٓءَاثَـٰرِهِمبِرُسُلِنَاوَقَفَّيْنَابِعِيسَىٱبْنِمَرْيَمَوَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُٱلْإِنجِيلَوَجَعَلْنَافِىقُلُوبِٱلَّذِينَٱتَّبَعُوهُرَأْفَةًۭوَرَحْمَةًۭوَرَهْبَانِيَّةًٱبْتَدَعُوهَامَاكَتَبْنَـٰهَاعَلَيْهِمْإِلَّاٱبْتِغَآءَرِضْوَٰنِٱللَّهِفَمَارَعَوْهَاحَقَّرِعَايَتِهَا ۖفَـَٔاتَيْنَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟مِنْهُمْأَجْرَهُمْ ۖوَكَثِيرٌۭمِّنْهُمْفَـٰسِقُونَ
fāsiqūnamin'humwakathīrunajrahummin'humāmanūalladhīnafaātaynāriʿāyatihāḥaqqaraʿawhāfamāl-lahiriḍ'wāniib'tighāaillāʿalayhimkatabnāhāmāib'tadaʿūhāwarahbāniyyatanwaraḥmatanrafatanittabaʿūhualladhīnaqulūbifīwajaʿalnāl-injīlawaātaynāhumaryamaib'nibiʿīsāwaqaffaynābirusulināāthārihimʿalāqaffaynāthumma
ThenWe sentontheir footstepsOur Messengersand We followedwith Isason(of) Maryamand We gave himthe InjeelAnd We placedin(the) hearts(of) those whofollowed himcompassionand mercyBut monasticismthey innovated notWe prescribed itfor them onlyseeking(the) pleasure(of) Allahbut notthey observed it(with) rightobservanceSo We gavethose whobelievedamong themtheir rewardbut mostof them(are) defiantly disobediently
57:27
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَءَامِنُوا۟بِرَسُولِهِۦيُؤْتِكُمْكِفْلَيْنِمِنرَّحْمَتِهِۦوَيَجْعَللَّكُمْنُورًۭاتَمْشُونَبِهِۦوَيَغْفِرْلَكُمْ ۚوَٱللَّهُغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunghafūrunwal-lahulakumwayaghfirbihitamshūnanūranlakumwayajʿalraḥmatihiminkif'layniyu'tikumbirasūlihiwaāminūl-lahaittaqūāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O you who believeO you who believeO you who believeFearAllahand believein His MessengerHe will give youdouble portionofHis Mercyand He will makefor youa lightyou will walkwith itand He will forgiveyouAnd Allah(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
57:28
لِّئَلَّايَعْلَمَأَهْلُٱلْكِتَـٰبِأَلَّايَقْدِرُونَعَلَىٰشَىْءٍۢمِّنفَضْلِٱللَّهِ ۙوَأَنَّٱلْفَضْلَبِيَدِٱللَّهِيُؤْتِيهِمَنيَشَآءُ ۚوَٱللَّهُذُوٱلْفَضْلِٱلْعَظِيمِ
l-ʿaẓīmil-faḍlidhūwal-lahuyashāumanyu'tīhil-lahibiyadil-faḍlawa-annal-lahifaḍliminshayinʿalāyaqdirūnaallāl-kitābiahluyaʿlamali-allā
So thatmay know(the) People(of) the Bookthat notthey have poweroveranythingfrom(the) Bounty(of) Allahand thatthe Bounty(is) in Allah's Hand(is) in Allah's HandHe gives itwhomHe willsAnd Allah(is) the Possessor of Bounty(is) the Possessor of Bountythe Great
57:29
