Basmala
۞ لَتَجِدَنَّأَشَدَّٱلنَّاسِعَدَٰوَةًۭلِّلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ٱلْيَهُودَوَٱلَّذِينَأَشْرَكُوا۟ ۖوَلَتَجِدَنَّأَقْرَبَهُممَّوَدَّةًۭلِّلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟ٱلَّذِينَقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّانَصَـٰرَىٰ ۚذَٰلِكَبِأَنَّمِنْهُمْقِسِّيسِينَوَرُهْبَانًۭاوَأَنَّهُمْلَايَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
yastakbirūnalāwa-annahumwaruh'bānanqissīsīnamin'humbi-annadhālikanaṣārāinnāqālūalladhīnaāmanūlilladhīnamawaddatanaqrabahumwalatajidannaashrakūwa-alladhīnal-yahūdaāmanūlilladhīnaʿadāwatanl-nāsiashaddalatajidanna
Surely you will findstrongest(of) the people(in) enmityto those whobelievethe Jewsand those who(are) polytheistsand surely you will findnearest of them(in) affectionto those whobelievethose whosayWe(are) ChristiansThat (is)becauseamong them(are) priestsand monksand that they(are) notarrogant
5:82
وَإِذَاسَمِعُوا۟مَآأُنزِلَإِلَىٱلرَّسُولِتَرَىٰٓأَعْيُنَهُمْتَفِيضُمِنَٱلدَّمْعِمِمَّاعَرَفُوا۟مِنَٱلْحَقِّ ۖيَقُولُونَرَبَّنَآءَامَنَّافَٱكْتُبْنَامَعَٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ
l-shāhidīnamaʿafa-uk'tub'nāāmannārabbanāyaqūlūnal-ḥaqiminaʿarafūmimmāl-damʿiminatafīḍuaʿyunahumtarāl-rasūliilāunzilamāsamiʿūwa-idhā
And whenthey listen(to) whathas been revealedtothe Messengeryou seetheir eyesoverflowingwiththe tearsfor whatthey recognizedofthe truthThey sayOur Lordwe have believedso write uswiththe witnesses
5:83
وَمَالَنَالَانُؤْمِنُبِٱللَّهِوَمَاجَآءَنَامِنَٱلْحَقِّوَنَطْمَعُأَنيُدْخِلَنَارَبُّنَامَعَٱلْقَوْمِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
l-ṣāliḥīnal-qawmimaʿarabbunāyud'khilanāanwanaṭmaʿul-ḥaqiminajāanāwamābil-lahinu'minulālanāwamā
And whatfor us (that)notwe believein Allahand whatcame (to) usfromthe truthAnd we hopethatwill admit usour Lordwiththe peoplethe righteous
5:84
فَأَثَـٰبَهُمُٱللَّهُبِمَاقَالُوا۟جَنَّـٰتٍۢتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَا ۚوَذَٰلِكَجَزَآءُٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnajazāuwadhālikafīhākhālidīnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrījannātinqālūbimāl-lahufa-athābahumu
So rewarded themAllahfor whatthey said(with) Gardensflowsfromunderneath themthe riverswill abide foreverin itAnd that(is the) reward(of) the good-doers
5:85
وَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْجَحِيمِ
l-jaḥīmiaṣḥābuulāikabiāyātināwakadhabūkafarūwa-alladhīna
And those whodisbelievedand deniedOur Signsthose(are the) companions(of) the Hellfire
5:86
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟لَاتُحَرِّمُوا۟طَيِّبَـٰتِمَآأَحَلَّٱللَّهُلَكُمْوَلَاتَعْتَدُوٓا۟ ۚإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايُحِبُّٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
l-muʿ'tadīnayuḥibbulāl-lahainnataʿtadūwalālakuml-lahuaḥallamāṭayyibātituḥarrimūlāāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O youwhobelieve(Do) notmake unlawful(the) good things(of) whathas (been) made lawful(by) Allahfor youand (do) nottransgressIndeedAllah(does) notlovethe transgressors
5:87
وَكُلُوا۟مِمَّارَزَقَكُمُٱللَّهُحَلَـٰلًۭاطَيِّبًۭا ۚوَٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَٱلَّذِىٓأَنتُمبِهِۦمُؤْمِنُونَ
mu'minūnabihiantumalladhīl-lahawa-ittaqūṭayyibanḥalālanl-lahurazaqakumumimmāwakulū
And eatof whathas provided youAllah lawfulgoodAnd fearAllahthe Oneyou (are)in Himbelievers
5:88
لَايُؤَاخِذُكُمُٱللَّهُبِٱللَّغْوِفِىٓأَيْمَـٰنِكُمْوَلَـٰكِنيُؤَاخِذُكُمبِمَاعَقَّدتُّمُٱلْأَيْمَـٰنَ ۖفَكَفَّـٰرَتُهُۥٓإِطْعَامُعَشَرَةِمَسَـٰكِينَمِنْأَوْسَطِمَاتُطْعِمُونَأَهْلِيكُمْأَوْكِسْوَتُهُمْأَوْتَحْرِيرُرَقَبَةٍۢ ۖفَمَنلَّمْيَجِدْفَصِيَامُثَلَـٰثَةِأَيَّامٍۢ ۚذَٰلِكَكَفَّـٰرَةُأَيْمَـٰنِكُمْإِذَاحَلَفْتُمْ ۚوَٱحْفَظُوٓا۟أَيْمَـٰنَكُمْ ۚكَذَٰلِكَيُبَيِّنُٱللَّهُلَكُمْءَايَـٰتِهِۦلَعَلَّكُمْتَشْكُرُونَ
tashkurūnalaʿallakumāyātihilakuml-lahuyubayyinukadhālikaaymānakumwa-iḥ'faẓūḥalaftumidhāaymānikumkaffāratudhālikaayyāminthalāthatifaṣiyāmuyajidlamfamanraqabatintaḥrīruawkis'watuhumawahlīkumtuṭ'ʿimūnamāawsaṭiminmasākīnaʿasharatiiṭ'ʿāmufakaffāratuhul-aymānaʿaqqadttumubimāyuākhidhukumwalākinaymānikumfībil-laghwil-lahuyuākhidhukumulā
Notwill call you to accountAllahfor the thoughtless utterancesinyour oathsbutHe will call you to accountfor whatyou contracted(of) the oathSo its expiation(is) feeding(of) tenneedy peopleofaverage(of) whatyou feedyour familiesorclothing themorfreeinga slaveBut whoever(does) notfind(that), then fasting(for) threedaysThat(is the) expiation(of) your oathswhenyou have swornAnd guardyour oathsThusmakes clearAllahto youHis Versesso that you may(be) grateful
5:89
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟إِنَّمَاٱلْخَمْرُوَٱلْمَيْسِرُوَٱلْأَنصَابُوَٱلْأَزْلَـٰمُرِجْسٌۭمِّنْعَمَلِٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِفَٱجْتَنِبُوهُلَعَلَّكُمْتُفْلِحُونَ
tuf'liḥūnalaʿallakumfa-ij'tanibūhul-shayṭāniʿamaliminrij'sunwal-azlāmuwal-anṣābuwal-maysirul-khamruinnamāāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O youwhobelieveVerilythe intoxicantsand [the] games of chanceand (sacrifices at) altarsand divining arrows(are an) abominationfrom(the) work(of) the Shaitaanso avoid itso that you may(be) successful
5:90
إِنَّمَايُرِيدُٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُأَنيُوقِعَبَيْنَكُمُٱلْعَدَٰوَةَوَٱلْبَغْضَآءَفِىٱلْخَمْرِوَٱلْمَيْسِرِوَيَصُدَّكُمْعَنذِكْرِٱللَّهِوَعَنِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۖفَهَلْأَنتُممُّنتَهُونَ
muntahūnaantumfahall-ṣalatiwaʿanil-lahidhik'riʿanwayaṣuddakumwal-maysiril-khamrifīwal-baghḍāal-ʿadāwatabaynakumuyūqiʿaanl-shayṭānuyurīduinnamā
Onlyintendsthe Shaitaantocausebetween you[the] enmityand [the] hatredthroughintoxicantsand gamblingand hinders youfrom(the) remembrance(of) Allahand fromthe prayerSo willyou(be) the ones who abstain
5:91
وَأَطِيعُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَأَطِيعُوا۟ٱلرَّسُولَوَٱحْذَرُوا۟ ۚفَإِنتَوَلَّيْتُمْفَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّمَاعَلَىٰرَسُولِنَاٱلْبَلَـٰغُٱلْمُبِينُ
l-mubīnul-balāghurasūlināʿalāannamāfa-iʿ'lamūtawallaytumfa-inwa-iḥ'dharūl-rasūlawa-aṭīʿūl-lahawa-aṭīʿū
And obeyAllahand obeythe Messengerand bewareAnd ifyou turn awaythen knowonlyuponOur Messenger(is to) convey (the Message)clearly
5:92
لَيْسَعَلَىٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِجُنَاحٌۭفِيمَاطَعِمُوٓا۟إِذَامَاٱتَّقَوا۟وَّءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِثُمَّٱتَّقَوا۟وَّءَامَنُوا۟ثُمَّٱتَّقَوا۟وَّأَحْسَنُوا۟ ۗوَٱللَّهُيُحِبُّٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnayuḥibbuwal-lahuwa-aḥsanūittaqawthummawaāmanūittaqawthummal-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūwaāmanūittaqawmāidhāṭaʿimūfīmājunāḥunl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūalladhīnaʿalālaysa
Notonthose whobelieveand dothe good deedsany sinfor whatthey atewhenthatthey fear (Allah)and they believeand they do[the] good deedsthenthey fear (Allah)and believethenthey fear (Allah)and do goodand Allahlovesthe good-doers
5:93
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟لَيَبْلُوَنَّكُمُٱللَّهُبِشَىْءٍۢمِّنَٱلصَّيْدِتَنَالُهُۥٓأَيْدِيكُمْوَرِمَاحُكُمْلِيَعْلَمَٱللَّهُمَنيَخَافُهُۥبِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚفَمَنِٱعْتَدَىٰبَعْدَذَٰلِكَفَلَهُۥعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌۭ
alīmunʿadhābunfalahudhālikabaʿdaiʿ'tadāfamanibil-ghaybiyakhāfuhumanl-lahuliyaʿlamawarimāḥukumaydīkumtanāluhul-ṣaydiminabishayinl-lahulayabluwannakumuāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O youwhobelieveSurely will test youAllahthrough somethingofthe game can reach ityour handsand your spearsthat may make evidentAllahwhofears Himin the unseenAnd whoevertransgressedafterthatthen for him(is) a punishmentpainful
5:94
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟لَاتَقْتُلُوا۟ٱلصَّيْدَوَأَنتُمْحُرُمٌۭ ۚوَمَنقَتَلَهُۥمِنكُممُّتَعَمِّدًۭافَجَزَآءٌۭمِّثْلُمَاقَتَلَمِنَٱلنَّعَمِيَحْكُمُبِهِۦذَوَاعَدْلٍۢمِّنكُمْهَدْيًۢابَـٰلِغَٱلْكَعْبَةِأَوْكَفَّـٰرَةٌۭطَعَامُمَسَـٰكِينَأَوْعَدْلُذَٰلِكَصِيَامًۭالِّيَذُوقَوَبَالَأَمْرِهِۦ ۗعَفَاٱللَّهُعَمَّاسَلَفَ ۚوَمَنْعَادَفَيَنتَقِمُٱللَّهُمِنْهُ ۗوَٱللَّهُعَزِيزٌۭذُوٱنتِقَامٍ
intiqāmindhūʿazīzunwal-lahumin'hul-lahufayantaqimuʿādawamansalafaʿammāl-lahuʿafāamrihiwabālaliyadhūqaṣiyāmandhālikaʿadluawmasākīnaṭaʿāmukaffāratunawl-kaʿbatibālighahadyanminkumʿadlindhawābihiyaḥkumul-naʿamiminaqatalamāmith'lufajazāonmutaʿammidanminkumqatalahuwamanḥurumunwa-antuml-ṣaydataqtulūlāāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O youwhobelieve(Do) notkillthe gamewhile you(are in) IhramAnd whoeverkilled itamong youintentionallythen penalty(is) similar(to) whathe killedofthe cattlejudgingittwo menjustamong you(as) an offeringreachingthe Kabahoran expiation feedingneedy peopleorequivalent(of) that(in) fastingthat he may taste(the) consequence(of) his deedPardoned(by) Allahwhat(has) passedbut whoeverreturnedthen will take retributionAllahfrom himAnd Allah(is) All-MightyOwner(of) Retribution
5:95
أُحِلَّلَكُمْصَيْدُٱلْبَحْرِوَطَعَامُهُۥمَتَـٰعًۭالَّكُمْوَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ ۖوَحُرِّمَعَلَيْكُمْصَيْدُٱلْبَرِّمَادُمْتُمْحُرُمًۭا ۗوَٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَٱلَّذِىٓإِلَيْهِتُحْشَرُونَ
tuḥ'sharūnailayhialladhīl-lahawa-ittaqūḥurumandum'tummāl-bariṣayduʿalaykumwaḥurrimawalilssayyāratilakummatāʿanwaṭaʿāmuhul-baḥriṣaydulakumuḥilla
Is made lawfulfor yougame(of) the seaand its food(as) provisionfor youand for the travelersand is made unlawfulon yougame(of) the landaslong as you(are in) IhramAnd be conscious(of) Allahthe Oneto Himyou will be gathered
5:96
۞ جَعَلَٱللَّهُٱلْكَعْبَةَٱلْبَيْتَٱلْحَرَامَقِيَـٰمًۭالِّلنَّاسِوَٱلشَّهْرَٱلْحَرَامَوَٱلْهَدْىَوَٱلْقَلَـٰٓئِدَ ۚذَٰلِكَلِتَعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَيَعْلَمُمَافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَمَافِىٱلْأَرْضِوَأَنَّٱللَّهَبِكُلِّشَىْءٍعَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmunshayinbikullil-lahawa-annal-arḍifīwamāl-samāwātifīmāyaʿlamul-lahaannalitaʿlamūdhālikawal-qalāidawal-hadyal-ḥarāmawal-shahralilnnāsiqiyāmanl-ḥarāmal-baytal-kaʿbatal-lahujaʿala
Has (been) made(by) Allahthe Kabahthe Housethe Sacredan establishmentfor mankindand the month(s)[the] sacredand the (animals) for offeringand the garlandsThat (is)so that you may knowthatAllahknowswhat(is) inthe heavensand what(is) inthe earthand thatAllahof everything(is) All-Knowing
5:97
ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَشَدِيدُٱلْعِقَابِوَأَنَّٱللَّهَغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunghafūrunl-lahawa-annal-ʿiqābishadīdul-lahaannaiʿ'lamū
KnowthatAllah(is) severe(in) punishmentand thatAllah(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
5:98
مَّاعَلَىٱلرَّسُولِإِلَّاٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ۗوَٱللَّهُيَعْلَمُمَاتُبْدُونَوَمَاتَكْتُمُونَ
taktumūnawamātub'dūnamāyaʿlamuwal-lahul-balāghuillāl-rasūliʿalāmā
Notonthe Messengerexceptthe conveyanceAnd Allahknowswhatyou revealand whatyou conceal
5:99
قُللَّايَسْتَوِىٱلْخَبِيثُوَٱلطَّيِّبُوَلَوْأَعْجَبَكَكَثْرَةُٱلْخَبِيثِ ۚفَٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَيَـٰٓأُو۟لِىٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِلَعَلَّكُمْتُفْلِحُونَ
tuf'liḥūnalaʿallakuml-albābiyāulīl-lahafa-ittaqūl-khabīthikathratuaʿjabakawalawwal-ṭayibul-khabīthuyastawīlāqul
SayNot(are) equalthe eviland the goodeven ifimpresses youabundance(of) the evilSo fearAllahO men(of) understandingso that you may(be) successful
5:100
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟لَاتَسْـَٔلُوا۟عَنْأَشْيَآءَإِنتُبْدَلَكُمْتَسُؤْكُمْوَإِنتَسْـَٔلُوا۟عَنْهَاحِينَيُنَزَّلُٱلْقُرْءَانُتُبْدَلَكُمْعَفَاٱللَّهُعَنْهَا ۗوَٱللَّهُغَفُورٌحَلِيمٌۭ
ḥalīmunghafūrunwal-lahuʿanhāl-lahuʿafālakumtub'dal-qur'ānuyunazzaluḥīnaʿanhātasalūwa-intasu'kumlakumtub'dainashyāaʿantasalūlāāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O youwhobelieve(Do) notaskaboutthingsifmade clearto youit may distress youand ifyou askabout itwhenis being revealedthe Quranit would be made clearto youhas (been) pardoned(by) Allah[about] itand Allah(is) Oft-ForgivingAll-Forbearing
5:101
قَدْسَأَلَهَاقَوْمٌۭمِّنقَبْلِكُمْثُمَّأَصْبَحُوا۟بِهَاكَـٰفِرِينَ
kāfirīnabihāaṣbaḥūthummaqablikumminqawmunsa-alahāqad
Indeedasked thema peoplefrombefore youthenthey becametherebydisbelievers
5:102
مَاجَعَلَٱللَّهُمِنۢبَحِيرَةٍۢوَلَاسَآئِبَةٍۢوَلَاوَصِيلَةٍۢوَلَاحَامٍۢ ۙوَلَـٰكِنَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟يَفْتَرُونَعَلَىٱللَّهِٱلْكَذِبَ ۖوَأَكْثَرُهُمْلَايَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūnalāwa-aktharuhuml-kadhibal-lahiʿalāyaftarūnakafarūalladhīnawalākinnaḥāminwalāwaṣīlatinwalāsāibatinwalābaḥīratinminl-lahujaʿalamā
Nothas (been) made(by) Allahofa Bahirahand nota Saibahand nota Wasilahand nota Hami[And] butthose whodisbelievedthey inventagainstAllahthe lieand most of them(do) notuse reason
5:103
وَإِذَاقِيلَلَهُمْتَعَالَوْا۟إِلَىٰمَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُوَإِلَىٱلرَّسُولِقَالُوا۟حَسْبُنَامَاوَجَدْنَاعَلَيْهِءَابَآءَنَآ ۚأَوَلَوْكَانَءَابَآؤُهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَشَيْـًۭٔاوَلَايَهْتَدُونَ
yahtadūnawalāshayanyaʿlamūnalāābāuhumkānaawalawābāanāʿalayhiwajadnāmāḥasbunāqālūl-rasūliwa-ilāl-lahuanzalamāilātaʿālawlahumqīlawa-idhā
And whenit is saidto themCometowhathas (been) revealed(by) Allahand tothe Messengerthey saidSufficient for us(is) whatwe foundupon itour forefathersEven though(that)their forefathers(were) notknowinganythingand notthey (were) guided
5:104
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟عَلَيْكُمْأَنفُسَكُمْ ۖلَايَضُرُّكُممَّنضَلَّإِذَاٱهْتَدَيْتُمْ ۚإِلَىٱللَّهِمَرْجِعُكُمْجَمِيعًۭافَيُنَبِّئُكُمبِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāfayunabbi-ukumjamīʿanmarjiʿukuml-lahiilāih'tadaytumidhāḍallamanyaḍurrukumlāanfusakumʿalaykumāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O youwhobelieveUpon you(is to guard) yourselvesNotwill harm you(those) who(have gone) astraywhenyou have been guidedToAllah(is) your return allthen He will inform youof whatyou used todo
5:105
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَاٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟شَهَـٰدَةُبَيْنِكُمْإِذَاحَضَرَأَحَدَكُمُٱلْمَوْتُحِينَٱلْوَصِيَّةِٱثْنَانِذَوَاعَدْلٍۢمِّنكُمْأَوْءَاخَرَانِمِنْغَيْرِكُمْإِنْأَنتُمْضَرَبْتُمْفِىٱلْأَرْضِفَأَصَـٰبَتْكُممُّصِيبَةُٱلْمَوْتِ ۚتَحْبِسُونَهُمَامِنۢبَعْدِٱلصَّلَوٰةِفَيُقْسِمَانِبِٱللَّهِإِنِٱرْتَبْتُمْلَانَشْتَرِىبِهِۦثَمَنًۭاوَلَوْكَانَذَاقُرْبَىٰ ۙوَلَانَكْتُمُشَهَـٰدَةَٱللَّهِإِنَّآإِذًۭالَّمِنَٱلْـَٔاثِمِينَ
l-āthimīnalaminaidhaninnāl-lahishahādatanaktumuwalāqur'bādhākānawalawthamananbihinashtarīlāir'tabtuminibil-lahifayuq'simānil-ṣalatibaʿdimintaḥbisūnahumāl-mawtimuṣībatufa-aṣābatkuml-arḍifīḍarabtumantuminghayrikumminākharāniawminkumʿadlindhawāith'nānil-waṣiyatiḥīnal-mawtuaḥadakumuḥaḍaraidhābaynikumshahādatuāmanūalladhīnayāayyuhā
O youwhobelieve(Take) testimonyamong youwhenapproachesone of you[the] death(at the) time (of making)[the] a willtwomenjustamong youortwo othersfromother than youifyou(are) travel(ing)inthe earththen befalls youcalamity(of) [the] deathDetain both of themfromafterthe prayerand let them both swearby Allahifyou doubtNotwe will exchangeit fora priceeven ifhe is(of)a near relativeand notwe will concealtestimony(of) AllahIndeed, wethen(will) surely (be) ofthe sinners
5:106
فَإِنْعُثِرَعَلَىٰٓأَنَّهُمَاٱسْتَحَقَّآإِثْمًۭافَـَٔاخَرَانِيَقُومَانِمَقَامَهُمَامِنَٱلَّذِينَٱسْتَحَقَّعَلَيْهِمُٱلْأَوْلَيَـٰنِفَيُقْسِمَانِبِٱللَّهِلَشَهَـٰدَتُنَآأَحَقُّمِنشَهَـٰدَتِهِمَاوَمَاٱعْتَدَيْنَآإِنَّآإِذًۭالَّمِنَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnalaminaidhaninnāiʿ'tadaynāwamāshahādatihimāminaḥaqqulashahādatunābil-lahifayuq'simānil-awlayāniʿalayhimuis'taḥaqqaalladhīnaminamaqāmahumāyaqūmānifaākharāniith'manis'taḥaqqāannahumāʿalāʿuthirafa-in
Then ifit is discovered(on)that the two(were) guilty(of) sinthen (let) two othersstand(in) their placefromthose whohave a lawful rightover them the former two and let them both swearby AllahSurely our testimony(is) truerthantestimony of the other twoand notwe have transgressedIndeed, wethen(will be) ofthe wrongdoers
5:107
ذَٰلِكَأَدْنَىٰٓأَنيَأْتُوا۟بِٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِعَلَىٰوَجْهِهَآأَوْيَخَافُوٓا۟أَنتُرَدَّأَيْمَـٰنٌۢبَعْدَأَيْمَـٰنِهِمْ ۗوَٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَٱسْمَعُوا۟ ۗوَٱللَّهُلَايَهْدِىٱلْقَوْمَٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ
l-fāsiqīnal-qawmayahdīlāwal-lahuwa-is'maʿūl-lahawa-ittaqūaymānihimbaʿdaaymānunturaddaanyakhāfūawwajhihāʿalābil-shahādatiyatūanadnādhālika
That(is) closerthatthey will givethe testimonyinits (true) formorthey would fearthatwill be refutedtheir oathsaftertheir (others) oathsAnd fearAllahand listenand Allah(does) notguidethe peoplethe defiantly disobedient
5:108
۞ يَوْمَيَجْمَعُٱللَّهُٱلرُّسُلَفَيَقُولُمَاذَآأُجِبْتُمْ ۖقَالُوا۟لَاعِلْمَلَنَآ ۖإِنَّكَأَنتَعَلَّـٰمُٱلْغُيُوبِ
l-ghuyūbiʿallāmuantainnakalanāʿil'malāqālūujib'tummādhāfayaqūlul-rusulal-lahuyajmaʿuyawma
(The) daywill (be) gathered(by) Allahthe Messengersand He will sayWhatwas (the) response you receivedThey said(There is) noknowledgefor usIndeed YouYou(are the) Knower(of) the unseen
5:109
إِذْقَالَٱللَّهُيَـٰعِيسَىٱبْنَمَرْيَمَٱذْكُرْنِعْمَتِىعَلَيْكَوَعَلَىٰوَٰلِدَتِكَإِذْأَيَّدتُّكَبِرُوحِٱلْقُدُسِتُكَلِّمُٱلنَّاسَفِىٱلْمَهْدِوَكَهْلًۭا ۖوَإِذْعَلَّمْتُكَٱلْكِتَـٰبَوَٱلْحِكْمَةَوَٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَوَٱلْإِنجِيلَ ۖوَإِذْتَخْلُقُمِنَٱلطِّينِكَهَيْـَٔةِٱلطَّيْرِبِإِذْنِىفَتَنفُخُفِيهَافَتَكُونُطَيْرًۢابِإِذْنِى ۖوَتُبْرِئُٱلْأَكْمَهَوَٱلْأَبْرَصَبِإِذْنِى ۖوَإِذْتُخْرِجُٱلْمَوْتَىٰبِإِذْنِى ۖوَإِذْكَفَفْتُبَنِىٓإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَعَنكَإِذْجِئْتَهُمبِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِفَقَالَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟مِنْهُمْإِنْهَـٰذَآإِلَّاسِحْرٌۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunsiḥ'runillāhādhāinmin'humkafarūalladhīnafaqālabil-bayinātiji'tahumidhʿankais'rāīlabanīkafaftuwa-idhbi-idh'nīl-mawtātukh'rijuwa-idhbi-idh'nīwal-abraṣal-akmahawatub'ri-ubi-idh'nīṭayranfatakūnufīhāfatanfukhubi-idh'nīl-ṭayrikahayatil-ṭīniminatakhluquwa-idhwal-injīlawal-tawrātawal-ḥik'matal-kitābaʿallamtukawa-idhwakahlanl-mahdifīl-nāsatukallimul-qudusibirūḥiayyadttukaidhwālidatikawaʿalāʿalaykaniʿ'matīudh'kurmaryamaib'nayāʿīsāl-lahuqālaidh
WhensaidAllahO Isason(of) MaryamRememberMy Favorupon youand uponyour motherwhenI strengthened youwith (the) Spiritthe Holyyou spoke(to) the peopleinthe cradleand (in) maturityAnd whenI taught youthe Bookand the wisdomand the Tauratand the Injeeland whenyou makefromthe claylike the shape(of) the birdby My permissionthen you breathinto itand it becomesa birdby My permissionand you healthe born blindand the leperby My permissionand whenyou bring forththe deadby My permissionAnd whenI restrained(the) Children(of) Israelfrom youwhenyou came to themwith the clear proofsthen saidthose whodisbelievedamong themNot(is) thisbutmagicclear
5:110
وَإِذْأَوْحَيْتُإِلَىٱلْحَوَارِيِّـۧنَأَنْءَامِنُوا۟بِىوَبِرَسُولِىقَالُوٓا۟ءَامَنَّاوَٱشْهَدْبِأَنَّنَامُسْلِمُونَ
mus'limūnabi-annanāwa-ish'hadāmannāqālūwabirasūlībīāminūanl-ḥawāriyīnailāawḥaytuwa-idh
And whenI inspiredtothe disciplestobelievein Meand in My Messengerthey saidWe believeand bear witnessthat indeed we(are) Muslims
5:111
إِذْقَالَٱلْحَوَارِيُّونَيَـٰعِيسَىٱبْنَمَرْيَمَهَلْيَسْتَطِيعُرَبُّكَأَنيُنَزِّلَعَلَيْنَامَآئِدَةًۭمِّنَٱلسَّمَآءِ ۖقَالَٱتَّقُوا۟ٱللَّهَإِنكُنتُممُّؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīnakuntuminl-lahaittaqūqālal-samāiminamāidatanʿalaynāyunazzilaanrabbukayastaṭīʿuhalmaryamaib'nayāʿīsāl-ḥawāriyūnaqālaidh
Whensaidthe disciplesO Isason(of) MaryamIsableyour Lordtosend downto usa table spreadfromthe heavenHe saidFearAllahifyou arebelievers
5:112
قَالُوا۟نُرِيدُأَننَّأْكُلَمِنْهَاوَتَطْمَئِنَّقُلُوبُنَاوَنَعْلَمَأَنقَدْصَدَقْتَنَاوَنَكُونَعَلَيْهَامِنَٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ
l-shāhidīnaminaʿalayhāwanakūnaṣadaqtanāqadanwanaʿlamaqulūbunāwataṭma-innamin'hānakulaannurīduqālū
They saidWe wishthatwe eatfrom itand satisfyour heartsand we knowthatcertainlyyou have spoken the truth to usand we beover itamongthe witnesses
5:113
قَالَعِيسَىٱبْنُمَرْيَمَٱللَّهُمَّرَبَّنَآأَنزِلْعَلَيْنَامَآئِدَةًۭمِّنَٱلسَّمَآءِتَكُونُلَنَاعِيدًۭالِّأَوَّلِنَاوَءَاخِرِنَاوَءَايَةًۭمِّنكَ ۖوَٱرْزُقْنَاوَأَنتَخَيْرُٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
l-rāziqīnakhayruwa-antawa-ur'zuq'nāminkawaāyatanwaākhirināli-awwalināʿīdanlanātakūnul-samāiminamāidatanʿalaynāanzilrabbanāl-lahumamaryamaub'nuʿīsāqāla
SaidIsason(of) MaryamO Allahour Lordsend downto usa table spreadfromthe heavento befor usa festivalfor first of usand last of usand a signfrom YouAnd provide usand You(are) best(of) the providers
5:114
قَالَٱللَّهُإِنِّىمُنَزِّلُهَاعَلَيْكُمْ ۖفَمَنيَكْفُرْبَعْدُمِنكُمْفَإِنِّىٓأُعَذِّبُهُۥعَذَابًۭالَّآأُعَذِّبُهُۥٓأَحَدًۭامِّنَٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnaminaaḥadanuʿadhibuhulāʿadhābanuʿadhibuhufa-innīminkumbaʿduyakfurfamanʿalaykummunazziluhāinnīl-lahuqāla
SaidAllahIndeed I(will) send it downto youthen whoeverdisbelievesafter (that)among youthen indeed I[I] will punish him(with) a punishmentnotI have punishedanyoneamongthe worlds
5:115
وَإِذْقَالَٱللَّهُيَـٰعِيسَىٱبْنَمَرْيَمَءَأَنتَقُلْتَلِلنَّاسِٱتَّخِذُونِىوَأُمِّىَإِلَـٰهَيْنِمِندُونِٱللَّهِ ۖقَالَسُبْحَـٰنَكَمَايَكُونُلِىٓأَنْأَقُولَمَالَيْسَلِىبِحَقٍّ ۚإِنكُنتُقُلْتُهُۥفَقَدْعَلِمْتَهُۥ ۚتَعْلَمُمَافِىنَفْسِىوَلَآأَعْلَمُمَافِىنَفْسِكَ ۚإِنَّكَأَنتَعَلَّـٰمُٱلْغُيُوبِ
l-ghuyūbiʿallāmuantainnakanafsikafīmāaʿlamuwalānafsīfīmātaʿlamuʿalim'tahufaqadqul'tuhukuntuinbiḥaqqinlīlaysamāaqūlaanlīyakūnumāsub'ḥānakaqālal-lahidūniminilāhayniwa-ummiyaittakhidhūnīlilnnāsiqul'taa-antamaryamaib'nayāʿīsāl-lahuqālawa-idh
And whensaidAllahO Isason(of) MaryamDid yousayto the peopleTake meand my mother(as) two godsfrombesidesAllahHe saidGlory be to YouNotwasfor methatI saywhatnotI(had) rightIfI hadsaid itthen surelyYou would have known itYou knowwhat(is) inmyselfand notI knowwhat(is) inYourselfIndeed, YouYou(are) All-Knower(of) the unseen
5:116
مَاقُلْتُلَهُمْإِلَّامَآأَمَرْتَنِىبِهِۦٓأَنِٱعْبُدُوا۟ٱللَّهَرَبِّىوَرَبَّكُمْ ۚوَكُنتُعَلَيْهِمْشَهِيدًۭامَّادُمْتُفِيهِمْ ۖفَلَمَّاتَوَفَّيْتَنِىكُنتَأَنتَٱلرَّقِيبَعَلَيْهِمْ ۚوَأَنتَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢشَهِيدٌ
shahīdunshayinkulliʿalāwa-antaʿalayhiml-raqībaantakuntatawaffaytanīfalammāfīhimdum'tumāshahīdanʿalayhimwakuntuwarabbakumrabbīl-lahauʿ'budūanibihiamartanīmāillālahumqul'tumā
NotI saidto themexceptwhatYou commanded me[with it]thatYou worshipAllahmy Lordand your LordAnd I wasover thema witnessthatas long as I(was) among themthen whenYou raised meYou were[You]the Watcherover themand You(are) oneverythinga Witness
5:117
إِنتُعَذِّبْهُمْفَإِنَّهُمْعِبَادُكَ ۖوَإِنتَغْفِرْلَهُمْفَإِنَّكَأَنتَٱلْعَزِيزُٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmul-ʿazīzuantafa-innakalahumtaghfirwa-inʿibādukafa-innahumtuʿadhib'humin
IfYou punish themthen indeed they(are) Your slavesand ifYou forgive[for] themthen indeed YouYou(are) the All-Mightythe All-Wise
5:118
قَالَٱللَّهُهَـٰذَايَوْمُيَنفَعُٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَصِدْقُهُمْ ۚلَهُمْجَنَّـٰتٌۭتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَآأَبَدًۭا ۚرَّضِىَٱللَّهُعَنْهُمْوَرَضُوا۟عَنْهُ ۚذَٰلِكَٱلْفَوْزُٱلْعَظِيمُ
l-ʿaẓīmul-fawzudhālikaʿanhuwaraḍūʿanhuml-lahuraḍiyaabadanfīhākhālidīnal-anhārutaḥtihāmintajrījannātunlahumṣid'quhuml-ṣādiqīnayanfaʿuyawmuhādhāl-lahuqāla
Will sayAllahThisDaywill profitthe truthfultheir truthfulnessFor them(are) Gardensflowsfromunderneath itthe riverswill abidein itforeveris pleasedAllahwith themand they are pleasedwith HimThat(is) the success(the) great
5:119
لِلَّهِمُلْكُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِوَمَافِيهِنَّ ۚوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرٌۢ
qadīrunshayinkulliʿalāwahuwafīhinnawamāwal-arḍil-samāwātimul'kulillahi
To Allah (belongs)the dominion(of) the heavensand the earthand what(is) in themAnd He(is) oneverythingAll-Powerful
5:120
Basmala
ٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَجَعَلَٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِوَٱلنُّورَ ۖثُمَّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟بِرَبِّهِمْيَعْدِلُونَ
yaʿdilūnabirabbihimkafarūalladhīnathummawal-nūral-ẓulumātiwajaʿalawal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqaalladhīlillahial-ḥamdu
(All) the praises and thanks(be) to Allahthe One Whocreatedthe heavensand the earthand madethe darkness[es]and the lightThenthose whodisbelievedin their Lordequate others with Him
6:1
هُوَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَكُممِّنطِينٍۢثُمَّقَضَىٰٓأَجَلًۭا ۖوَأَجَلٌۭمُّسَمًّىعِندَهُۥ ۖثُمَّأَنتُمْتَمْتَرُونَ
tamtarūnaantumthummaʿindahumusammanwa-ajalunajalanqaḍāthummaṭīninminkhalaqakumalladhīhuwa
He(is) the One Whocreated youfromclaythenHe decreeda term and a termspecifiedwith Himyetyoudoubt
6:2
وَهُوَٱللَّهُفِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَفِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۖيَعْلَمُسِرَّكُمْوَجَهْرَكُمْوَيَعْلَمُمَاتَكْسِبُونَ
taksibūnamāwayaʿlamuwajahrakumsirrakumyaʿlamul-arḍiwafīl-samāwātifīl-lahuwahuwa
And He(is) Allahinthe heavensand inthe earthHe knowsyour secretand what you make publicand He knowswhatyou earn
6:3
وَمَاتَأْتِيهِممِّنْءَايَةٍۢمِّنْءَايَـٰتِرَبِّهِمْإِلَّاكَانُوا۟عَنْهَامُعْرِضِينَ
muʿ'riḍīnaʿanhākānūillārabbihimāyātimināyatinmintatīhimwamā
And notcomes to them[of]any signfrom(the) Signs(of) their Lordbutthey arefrom itturning away
6:4
فَقَدْكَذَّبُوا۟بِٱلْحَقِّلَمَّاجَآءَهُمْ ۖفَسَوْفَيَأْتِيهِمْأَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟مَاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
yastahziūnabihikānūmāanbāuyatīhimfasawfajāahumlammābil-ḥaqikadhabūfaqad
Then indeedthey deniedthe truthwhenit came to thembut soonwill come to themnews(of) whatthey used to[at it]mock
6:5
أَلَمْيَرَوْا۟كَمْأَهْلَكْنَامِنقَبْلِهِممِّنقَرْنٍۢمَّكَّنَّـٰهُمْفِىٱلْأَرْضِمَالَمْنُمَكِّنلَّكُمْوَأَرْسَلْنَاٱلسَّمَآءَعَلَيْهِممِّدْرَارًۭاوَجَعَلْنَاٱلْأَنْهَـٰرَتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهِمْفَأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمبِذُنُوبِهِمْوَأَنشَأْنَامِنۢبَعْدِهِمْقَرْنًاءَاخَرِينَ
ākharīnaqarnanbaʿdihimminwa-anshanābidhunūbihimfa-ahlaknāhumtaḥtihimmintajrīl-anhārawajaʿalnāmid'rāranʿalayhiml-samāawa-arsalnālakumnumakkinlammāl-arḍifīmakkannāhumqarninminqablihimminahlaknākamyarawalam
Did notthey seehow manyWe destroyedfrombefore themofgenerationsWe had established theminthe earthwhatnotWe (have) establishedfor youAnd We sent(rain from) the skyupon themshowering abundantlyand We madethe riversflowfromunderneath themThen We destroyed themfor their sinsand We raisedfromafter themgenerationsother
6:6
وَلَوْنَزَّلْنَاعَلَيْكَكِتَـٰبًۭافِىقِرْطَاسٍۢفَلَمَسُوهُبِأَيْدِيهِمْلَقَالَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟إِنْهَـٰذَآإِلَّاسِحْرٌۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunsiḥ'runillāhādhāinkafarūalladhīnalaqālabi-aydīhimfalamasūhuqir'ṭāsinfīkitābanʿalaykanazzalnāwalaw
And (even) ifWe (had) sent downto youa written Scriptureina parchmentand they touched itwith their handssurely (would) have saidthose whodisbelievedNot(is) thisbutmagicclear
6:7
وَقَالُوا۟لَوْلَآأُنزِلَعَلَيْهِمَلَكٌۭ ۖوَلَوْأَنزَلْنَامَلَكًۭالَّقُضِىَٱلْأَمْرُثُمَّلَايُنظَرُونَ
yunẓarūnalāthummal-amrulaquḍiyamalakananzalnāwalawmalakunʿalayhiunzilalawlāwaqālū
And they saidWhy has not beensent downto himan AngelAnd ifWe (had) sent downan Angelsurely (would) have been decidedthe matterthennorespite would have been granted to them
6:8
وَلَوْجَعَلْنَـٰهُمَلَكًۭالَّجَعَلْنَـٰهُرَجُلًۭاوَلَلَبَسْنَاعَلَيْهِممَّايَلْبِسُونَ
yalbisūnamāʿalayhimwalalabasnārajulanlajaʿalnāhumalakanjaʿalnāhuwalaw
And ifWe had made himan Angelcertainly We (would) have made hima manand certainly We (would) have obscuredto themwhatthey are obscuring
6:9
وَلَقَدِٱسْتُهْزِئَبِرُسُلٍۢمِّنقَبْلِكَفَحَاقَبِٱلَّذِينَسَخِرُوا۟مِنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟بِهِۦيَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
yastahziūnabihikānūmāmin'humsakhirūbi-alladhīnafaḥāqaqablikaminbirusulinus'tuh'zi-awalaqadi
And indeedwere mockedMessengersfrombefore youbut surroundedthose whoscoffedof themwhatthey used to[at it]mock
6:10
قُلْسِيرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِثُمَّٱنظُرُوا۟كَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
l-mukadhibīnaʿāqibatukānakayfaunẓurūthummal-arḍifīsīrūqul
SayTravelinthe earthandseehowwas(the) end(of) the rejecters
6:11
قُللِّمَنمَّافِىٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖقُللِّلَّهِ ۚكَتَبَعَلَىٰنَفْسِهِٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۚلَيَجْمَعَنَّكُمْإِلَىٰيَوْمِٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِلَارَيْبَفِيهِ ۚٱلَّذِينَخَسِرُوٓا۟أَنفُسَهُمْفَهُمْلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalāfahumanfusahumkhasirūalladhīnafīhiraybalāl-qiyāmatiyawmiilālayajmaʿannakuml-raḥmatanafsihiʿalākatabalillahiqulwal-arḍil-samāwātifīmālimanqul
SayTo whom (belongs)what(is) inthe heavensand the earthSayTo AllahHe has decreeduponHimselfthe MercySurely He will assemble youon(the) Day(of) the Resurrection(there is) nodoubtabout itThose whohave lostthemselvesthen they(do) notbelieve
6:12
۞ وَلَهُۥمَاسَكَنَفِىٱلَّيْلِوَٱلنَّهَارِ ۚوَهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-samīʿuwahuwawal-nahārial-laylifīsakanamāwalahu
And for Him(is) whateverdwellsinthe nightand the dayand He(is) All-HearingAll-Knowing
6:13
قُلْأَغَيْرَٱللَّهِأَتَّخِذُوَلِيًّۭافَاطِرِٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِوَهُوَيُطْعِمُوَلَايُطْعَمُ ۗقُلْإِنِّىٓأُمِرْتُأَنْأَكُونَأَوَّلَمَنْأَسْلَمَ ۖوَلَاتَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
l-mush'rikīnaminatakūnannawalāaslamamanawwalaakūnaanumir'tuinnīqulyuṭ'ʿamuwalāyuṭ'ʿimuwahuwawal-arḍil-samāwātifāṭiriwaliyyanattakhidhul-lahiaghayraqul
SayIs it other thanAllahI (should) take(as) a protectorCreator(of) the heavensand the earthwhile (it is) HeWho feedsand notHe is fedSayIndeed I[I] am commandedthatI be(the) firstwhosubmits (to Allah)and notbeofthe polytheists
6:14
قُلْإِنِّىٓأَخَافُإِنْعَصَيْتُرَبِّىعَذَابَيَوْمٍعَظِيمٍۢ
ʿaẓīminyawminʿadhābarabbīʿaṣaytuinakhāfuinnīqul
SayIndeed, I[I] fearifI disobeyedmy Lordpunishment(of) a DayMighty
6:15
مَّنيُصْرَفْعَنْهُيَوْمَئِذٍۢفَقَدْرَحِمَهُۥ ۚوَذَٰلِكَٱلْفَوْزُٱلْمُبِينُ
l-mubīnul-fawzuwadhālikaraḥimahufaqadyawma-idhinʿanhuyuṣ'rafman
Whoeveris avertedfrom itthat Daythen surelyHe had Mercy on himAnd that(is) the success(the) clear
6:16
وَإِنيَمْسَسْكَٱللَّهُبِضُرٍّۢفَلَاكَاشِفَلَهُۥٓإِلَّاهُوَ ۖوَإِنيَمْسَسْكَبِخَيْرٍۢفَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢقَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrunshayinkulliʿalāfahuwabikhayrinyamsaskawa-inhuwaillālahukāshifafalābiḍurrinl-lahuyamsaskawa-in
And iftouches youAllahwith afflictionthen noremoverof itexceptHimAnd ifHe touches youwith goodthen He(is) oneverythingAll-Powerful
6:17
وَهُوَٱلْقَاهِرُفَوْقَعِبَادِهِۦ ۚوَهُوَٱلْحَكِيمُٱلْخَبِيرُ
l-khabīrul-ḥakīmuwahuwaʿibādihifawqal-qāhiruwahuwa
And He(is) the SubjugatoroverHis slavesAnd He(is) the All-Wisethe All-Aware
6:18
قُلْأَىُّشَىْءٍأَكْبَرُشَهَـٰدَةًۭ ۖقُلِٱللَّهُ ۖشَهِيدٌۢبَيْنِىوَبَيْنَكُمْ ۚوَأُوحِىَإِلَىَّهَـٰذَاٱلْقُرْءَانُلِأُنذِرَكُمبِهِۦوَمَنۢبَلَغَ ۚأَئِنَّكُمْلَتَشْهَدُونَأَنَّمَعَٱللَّهِءَالِهَةًأُخْرَىٰ ۚقُللَّآأَشْهَدُ ۚقُلْإِنَّمَاهُوَإِلَـٰهٌۭوَٰحِدٌۭوَإِنَّنِىبَرِىٓءٌۭمِّمَّاتُشْرِكُونَ
tush'rikūnamimmābarīonwa-innanīwāḥidunilāhunhuwainnamāqulashhadulāqulukh'rāālihatanl-lahimaʿaannalatashhadūnaa-innakumbalaghawamanbihili-undhirakuml-qur'ānuhādhāilayyawaūḥiyawabaynakumbaynīshahīdunl-lahuqulishahādatanakbarushayinayyuqul
SayWhatthing(is) greatest(as) a testimonySayAllah(is) Witnessbetween meand between youand has been revealedto methis[the] Quranthat I may warn youwith itand whoeverit reachesDo you trulytestifythatwithAllah(there are) godsotherSayNot(do) I testifySayOnlyHe(is) GodOneand indeed, I amfreeof whatyou associate (with Him)
6:19
ٱلَّذِينَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُٱلْكِتَـٰبَيَعْرِفُونَهُۥكَمَايَعْرِفُونَأَبْنَآءَهُمُ ۘٱلَّذِينَخَسِرُوٓا۟أَنفُسَهُمْفَهُمْلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalāfahumanfusahumkhasirūalladhīnaabnāahumuyaʿrifūnakamāyaʿrifūnahul-kitābaātaynāhumualladhīna
Those (to) whomWe have given themthe Bookthey recognize himasthey recognizetheir sonsThose wholostthemselvesthen they(do) notbelieve
6:20
وَمَنْأَظْلَمُمِمَّنِٱفْتَرَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِكَذِبًاأَوْكَذَّبَبِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۗإِنَّهُۥلَايُفْلِحُٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
l-ẓālimūnayuf'liḥulāinnahubiāyātihikadhabaawkadhibanl-lahiʿalāif'tarāmimmaniaẓlamuwaman
And who(is) more unjustthan (he) whoinventsagainstAllaha lieorrejectsHis SignsIndeednotwill be successfulthe wrongdoers
6:21
وَيَوْمَنَحْشُرُهُمْجَمِيعًۭاثُمَّنَقُولُلِلَّذِينَأَشْرَكُوٓا۟أَيْنَشُرَكَآؤُكُمُٱلَّذِينَكُنتُمْتَزْعُمُونَ
tazʿumūnakuntumalladhīnashurakāukumuaynaashrakūlilladhīnanaqūluthummajamīʿannaḥshuruhumwayawma
And (the) DayWe will gather themallthenWe will sayto those whoassociated others with AllahWhere (are)your partnersthose whomyou used toclaim
6:22
ثُمَّلَمْتَكُنفِتْنَتُهُمْإِلَّآأَنقَالُوا۟وَٱللَّهِرَبِّنَامَاكُنَّامُشْرِكِينَ
mush'rikīnakunnāmārabbināwal-lahiqālūanillāfit'natuhumtakunlamthumma
Thennotwill be(for) them a pleaexceptthatthey sayBy Allahour Lordnotwe werethose who associated others (with Allah)
6:23
ٱنظُرْكَيْفَكَذَبُوا۟عَلَىٰٓأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚوَضَلَّعَنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟يَفْتَرُونَ
yaftarūnakānūmāʿanhumwaḍallaanfusihimʿalākadhabūkayfaunẓur
Lookhowthey liedagainstthemselvesAnd lostfrom themwhatthey used toinvent
6:24
وَمِنْهُممَّنيَسْتَمِعُإِلَيْكَ ۖوَجَعَلْنَاعَلَىٰقُلُوبِهِمْأَكِنَّةًأَنيَفْقَهُوهُوَفِىٓءَاذَانِهِمْوَقْرًۭا ۚوَإِنيَرَوْا۟كُلَّءَايَةٍۢلَّايُؤْمِنُوا۟بِهَا ۚحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاجَآءُوكَيُجَـٰدِلُونَكَيَقُولُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوٓا۟إِنْهَـٰذَآإِلَّآأَسَـٰطِيرُٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
l-awalīnaasāṭīruillāhādhāinkafarūalladhīnayaqūluyujādilūnakajāūkaidhāḥattābihāyu'minūlāāyatinkullayarawwa-inwaqranādhānihimwafīyafqahūhuanakinnatanqulūbihimʿalāwajaʿalnāilaykayastamiʿumanwamin'hum
And among them(are those) wholistento youbut We have placedovertheir heartscoveringslestthey understand itand intheir earsdeafnessAnd ifthey seeeverysignnotwill they believein itUntilwhenthey come to youand argue with yousaythose whodisbelievedNot(is) thisbut(the) tales(of) the former (people)
6:25
وَهُمْيَنْهَوْنَعَنْهُوَيَنْـَٔوْنَعَنْهُ ۖوَإِنيُهْلِكُونَإِلَّآأَنفُسَهُمْوَمَايَشْعُرُونَ
yashʿurūnawamāanfusahumillāyuh'likūnawa-inʿanhuwayanawnaʿanhuyanhawnawahum
And theyforbid (others)from itand they keep awayfrom itAnd notthey destroyexceptthemselvesand notthey perceive
6:26
وَلَوْتَرَىٰٓإِذْوُقِفُوا۟عَلَىٱلنَّارِفَقَالُوا۟يَـٰلَيْتَنَانُرَدُّوَلَانُكَذِّبَبِـَٔايَـٰتِرَبِّنَاوَنَكُونَمِنَٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīnaminawanakūnarabbinābiāyātinukadhibawalānuradduyālaytanāfaqālūl-nāriʿalāwuqifūidhtarāwalaw
And ifyou (could) seewhenthey are made to standbythe Firethen they (will) sayOh! Would that wewere sent backand notwe would deny(the) Signs(of) our Lordand we would beamongthe believers
6:27
بَلْبَدَالَهُممَّاكَانُوا۟يُخْفُونَمِنقَبْلُ ۖوَلَوْرُدُّوا۟لَعَادُوا۟لِمَانُهُوا۟عَنْهُوَإِنَّهُمْلَكَـٰذِبُونَ
lakādhibūnawa-innahumʿanhunuhūlimālaʿādūruddūwalawqabluminyukh'fūnakānūmālahumbadābal
Naybecame manifestfor themwhatthey used toconcealfrombeforeAnd ifthey were sent backcertainly they (would) returnto whatthey were forbiddenfrom itand indeed theycertainly are liars
6:28
وَقَالُوٓا۟إِنْهِىَإِلَّاحَيَاتُنَاٱلدُّنْيَاوَمَانَحْنُبِمَبْعُوثِينَ
bimabʿūthīnanaḥnuwamāl-dun'yāḥayātunāillāhiyainwaqālū
And they saidNotit (is)exceptour life(of) the worldand notwe(will be) resurrected
6:29
وَلَوْتَرَىٰٓإِذْوُقِفُوا۟عَلَىٰرَبِّهِمْ ۚقَالَأَلَيْسَهَـٰذَابِٱلْحَقِّ ۚقَالُوا۟بَلَىٰوَرَبِّنَا ۚقَالَفَذُوقُوا۟ٱلْعَذَابَبِمَاكُنتُمْتَكْفُرُونَ
takfurūnakuntumbimāl-ʿadhābafadhūqūqālawarabbinābalāqālūbil-ḥaqihādhāalaysaqālarabbihimʿalāwuqifūidhtarāwalaw
And ifyou (could) seewhenthey will be made to standbeforetheir LordHe (will) sayIs notthisthe truthThey will sayYesby our LordHe (will) saySo tastethe punishmentbecauseyou used todisbelieve
6:30
قَدْخَسِرَٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِلِقَآءِٱللَّهِ ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاجَآءَتْهُمُٱلسَّاعَةُبَغْتَةًۭقَالُوا۟يَـٰحَسْرَتَنَاعَلَىٰمَافَرَّطْنَافِيهَاوَهُمْيَحْمِلُونَأَوْزَارَهُمْعَلَىٰظُهُورِهِمْ ۚأَلَاسَآءَمَايَزِرُونَ
yazirūnamāsāaalāẓuhūrihimʿalāawzārahumyaḥmilūnawahumfīhāfarraṭnāmāʿalāyāḥasratanāqālūbaghtatanl-sāʿatujāathumuidhāḥattāl-lahibiliqāikadhabūalladhīnakhasiraqad
Indeedincurred lossthose whodeniedin (the) meeting(with) Allahuntilwhencame to themthe Hoursuddenlythey saidOh! Our regretoverwhatwe neglectedconcerning itwhile theywill beartheir burdensontheir backsUnquestionablyEvil(is) whatthey bear
6:31
وَمَاٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَآإِلَّالَعِبٌۭوَلَهْوٌۭ ۖوَلَلدَّارُٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُخَيْرٌۭلِّلَّذِينَيَتَّقُونَ ۗأَفَلَاتَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūnaafalāyattaqūnalilladhīnakhayrunl-ākhiratuwalalddāruwalahwunlaʿibunillāl-dun'yāl-ḥayatuwamā
And not(is) the life(of) the worldexcepta playand amusementbut the home(of) the Hereafter(is) bestfor those who(are) God consciousThen not(will) you reason
6:32
قَدْنَعْلَمُإِنَّهُۥلَيَحْزُنُكَٱلَّذِىيَقُولُونَ ۖفَإِنَّهُمْلَايُكَذِّبُونَكَوَلَـٰكِنَّٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَبِـَٔايَـٰتِٱللَّهِيَجْحَدُونَ
yajḥadūnal-lahibiāyātil-ẓālimīnawalākinnayukadhibūnakalāfa-innahumyaqūlūnaalladhīlayaḥzunukainnahunaʿlamuqad
IndeedWe knowthat itgrieves youwhatthey sayAnd indeed, they(do) notdeny youbutthe wrongdoers the Verses(of) Allahthey reject
6:33
وَلَقَدْكُذِّبَتْرُسُلٌۭمِّنقَبْلِكَفَصَبَرُوا۟عَلَىٰمَاكُذِّبُوا۟وَأُوذُوا۟حَتَّىٰٓأَتَىٰهُمْنَصْرُنَا ۚوَلَامُبَدِّلَلِكَلِمَـٰتِٱللَّهِ ۚوَلَقَدْجَآءَكَمِننَّبَإِى۟ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
l-mur'salīnanaba-iminjāakawalaqadl-lahilikalimātimubaddilawalānaṣrunāatāhumḥattāwaūdhūkudhibūmāʿalāfaṣabarūqablikaminrusulunkudhibatwalaqad
And surelywere rejectedMessengersfrombefore youbut they were patientoverwhatthey were rejectedand they were harmeduntilcame to themOur helpAnd noone (can) alter(the) words(of) Allahand surelyhas come to youof(the) news(of) the Messengers
6:34
وَإِنكَانَكَبُرَعَلَيْكَإِعْرَاضُهُمْفَإِنِٱسْتَطَعْتَأَنتَبْتَغِىَنَفَقًۭافِىٱلْأَرْضِأَوْسُلَّمًۭافِىٱلسَّمَآءِفَتَأْتِيَهُمبِـَٔايَةٍۢ ۚوَلَوْشَآءَٱللَّهُلَجَمَعَهُمْعَلَىٱلْهُدَىٰ ۚفَلَاتَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلْجَـٰهِلِينَ
l-jāhilīnaminatakūnannafalāl-hudāʿalālajamaʿahuml-lahushāawalawbiāyatinfatatiyahuml-samāifīsullamanawl-arḍifīnafaqantabtaghiyaanis'taṭaʿtafa-iniiʿ'rāḍuhumʿalaykakaburakānawa-in
And ifisdifficultfor youtheir aversionthen ifyou are abletoseeka tunnelinthe earthora ladderintothe skyso that you bring to thema SignBut if(had) willedAllahsurely He (would) have gathered themonthe guidanceSo (do) notbeofthe ignorant
6:35
۞ إِنَّمَايَسْتَجِيبُٱلَّذِينَيَسْمَعُونَ ۘوَٱلْمَوْتَىٰيَبْعَثُهُمُٱللَّهُثُمَّإِلَيْهِيُرْجَعُونَ
yur'jaʿūnailayhithummal-lahuyabʿathuhumuwal-mawtāyasmaʿūnaalladhīnayastajībuinnamā
Onlyrespondthose wholistenBut the dead will resurrect themAllahthento Himthey will be returned
6:36
وَقَالُوا۟لَوْلَانُزِّلَعَلَيْهِءَايَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّهِۦ ۚقُلْإِنَّٱللَّهَقَادِرٌعَلَىٰٓأَنيُنَزِّلَءَايَةًۭوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَهُمْلَايَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnalāaktharahumwalākinnaāyatanyunazzilaanʿalāqādirunl-lahainnaqulrabbihimināyatunʿalayhinuzzilalawlāwaqālū
And they saidWhy (is) notsent downto hima Signfromhis LordSayIndeedAllah(is) Able[on]tosend downa Signbutmost of them(do) notknow
6:37
وَمَامِندَآبَّةٍۢفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَلَاطَـٰٓئِرٍۢيَطِيرُبِجَنَاحَيْهِإِلَّآأُمَمٌأَمْثَالُكُم ۚمَّافَرَّطْنَافِىٱلْكِتَـٰبِمِنشَىْءٍۢ ۚثُمَّإِلَىٰرَبِّهِمْيُحْشَرُونَ
yuḥ'sharūnarabbihimilāthummashayinminl-kitābifīfarraṭnāmāamthālukumumamunillābijanāḥayhiyaṭīruṭāirinwalāl-arḍifīdābbatinminwamā
And not[of]any animalinthe earthand nota bird(that) flieswith its wings but(are) communitieslike youNotWe have neglectedinthe Book[of]anythingthentotheir Lordthey will be gathered
6:38
وَٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاصُمٌّۭوَبُكْمٌۭفِىٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ ۗمَنيَشَإِٱللَّهُيُضْلِلْهُوَمَنيَشَأْيَجْعَلْهُعَلَىٰصِرَٰطٍۢمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
mus'taqīminṣirāṭinʿalāyajʿalhuyashawamanyuḍ'lil'hul-lahuyasha-imanl-ẓulumātifīwabuk'munṣummunbiāyātinākadhabūwa-alladhīna
And those whorejectedOur Verses(are) deafand dumbinthe darkness[es]WhoeverwillsAllah He lets him go astrayand whoeverHe wills He places himon(the) way(the) straight
6:39
قُلْأَرَءَيْتَكُمْإِنْأَتَىٰكُمْعَذَابُٱللَّهِأَوْأَتَتْكُمُٱلسَّاعَةُأَغَيْرَٱللَّهِتَدْعُونَإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntumintadʿūnal-lahiaghayral-sāʿatuatatkumuawl-lahiʿadhābuatākuminara-aytakumqul
SayHave you seenif(there) came to youpunishment(of) Allahor(there) came to youthe Hour is it other(than) Allahyou callifyou aretruthful
6:40
بَلْإِيَّاهُتَدْعُونَفَيَكْشِفُمَاتَدْعُونَإِلَيْهِإِنشَآءَوَتَنسَوْنَمَاتُشْرِكُونَ
tush'rikūnamāwatansawnashāainilayhitadʿūnamāfayakshifutadʿūnaiyyāhubal
NayHim Aloneyou calland He would removewhatyou callupon HimifHe willsand you will forgetwhatyou associate (with Him)
6:41
وَلَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَآإِلَىٰٓأُمَمٍۢمِّنقَبْلِكَفَأَخَذْنَـٰهُمبِٱلْبَأْسَآءِوَٱلضَّرَّآءِلَعَلَّهُمْيَتَضَرَّعُونَ
yataḍarraʿūnalaʿallahumwal-ḍarāibil-basāifa-akhadhnāhumqablikaminumaminilāarsalnāwalaqad
And certainlyWe sent (Messengers)tonationsfrombefore youthen We seized themwith adversityand hardshipso that they mayhumble themselves
6:42
فَلَوْلَآإِذْجَآءَهُمبَأْسُنَاتَضَرَّعُوا۟وَلَـٰكِنقَسَتْقُلُوبُهُمْوَزَيَّنَلَهُمُٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūmāl-shayṭānulahumuwazayyanaqulūbuhumqasatwalākintaḍarraʿūbasunājāahumidhfalawlā
Then why notwhencame to themOur punishmentthey humbled themselvesButbecame hardenedtheir heartsand made fair-seemingto themthe Shaitaanwhatthey used todo
6:43
فَلَمَّانَسُوا۟مَاذُكِّرُوا۟بِهِۦفَتَحْنَاعَلَيْهِمْأَبْوَٰبَكُلِّشَىْءٍحَتَّىٰٓإِذَافَرِحُوا۟بِمَآأُوتُوٓا۟أَخَذْنَـٰهُمبَغْتَةًۭفَإِذَاهُممُّبْلِسُونَ
mub'lisūnahumfa-idhābaghtatanakhadhnāhumūtūbimāfariḥūidhāḥattāshayinkulliabwābaʿalayhimfataḥnābihidhukkirūmānasūfalammā
So whenthey forgotwhatthey were remindedof [it]We openedon themgates(of) everythinguntilwhenthey rejoicedin whatthey were givenWe seized themsuddenlyand thenthey(were) dumbfounded
6:44
فَقُطِعَدَابِرُٱلْقَوْمِٱلَّذِينَظَلَمُوا۟ ۚوَٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbilillahiwal-ḥamduẓalamūalladhīnal-qawmidābirufaquṭiʿa
So was cut off(the) remnant(of) the people[those] whodid wrongAnd all praises and thanks(be) to AllahLord(of) the worlds
6:45
قُلْأَرَءَيْتُمْإِنْأَخَذَٱللَّهُسَمْعَكُمْوَأَبْصَـٰرَكُمْوَخَتَمَعَلَىٰقُلُوبِكُممَّنْإِلَـٰهٌغَيْرُٱللَّهِيَأْتِيكُمبِهِ ۗٱنظُرْكَيْفَنُصَرِّفُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِثُمَّهُمْيَصْدِفُونَ
yaṣdifūnahumthummal-āyātinuṣarrifukayfaunẓurbihiyatīkuml-lahighayruilāhunmanqulūbikumʿalāwakhatamawa-abṣārakumsamʿakuml-lahuakhadhainara-aytumqul
SayHave you seeniftook awayAllahyour hearingand your sightand sealed[on]your heartswho(is the) godother thanAllahto bring [back] to youwith itSeehowWe explainthe Signsyettheyturn away
6:46
قُلْأَرَءَيْتَكُمْإِنْأَتَىٰكُمْعَذَابُٱللَّهِبَغْتَةًأَوْجَهْرَةًهَلْيُهْلَكُإِلَّاٱلْقَوْمُٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
l-ẓālimūnal-qawmuillāyuh'lakuhaljahratanawbaghtatanl-lahiʿadhābuatākuminara-aytakumqul
SayHave you seenifcomes to youpunishment(of) Allahsuddenlyoropenlywill(any) be destroyedexceptthe people the wrongdoers
6:47
وَمَانُرْسِلُٱلْمُرْسَلِينَإِلَّامُبَشِّرِينَوَمُنذِرِينَ ۖفَمَنْءَامَنَوَأَصْلَحَفَلَاخَوْفٌعَلَيْهِمْوَلَاهُمْيَحْزَنُونَ
yaḥzanūnahumwalāʿalayhimkhawfunfalāwa-aṣlaḥaāmanafamanwamundhirīnamubashirīnaillāl-mur'salīnanur'siluwamā
And notWe sendthe Messengersexcept(as) bearer of glad tidingsand (as) warnersSo whoeverbelievedand reformedthen nofearupon themand nottheywill grieve
6:48
وَٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَايَمَسُّهُمُٱلْعَذَابُبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَفْسُقُونَ
yafsuqūnakānūbimāl-ʿadhābuyamassuhumubiāyātinākadhabūwa-alladhīna
And those whodenied[in] Our Verseswill touch themthe punishmentfor whatthey used todefiantly disobey
6:49
قُللَّآأَقُولُلَكُمْعِندِىخَزَآئِنُٱللَّهِوَلَآأَعْلَمُٱلْغَيْبَوَلَآأَقُولُلَكُمْإِنِّىمَلَكٌ ۖإِنْأَتَّبِعُإِلَّامَايُوحَىٰٓإِلَىَّ ۚقُلْهَلْيَسْتَوِىٱلْأَعْمَىٰوَٱلْبَصِيرُ ۚأَفَلَاتَتَفَكَّرُونَ
tatafakkarūnaafalāwal-baṣīrul-aʿmāyastawīhalqulilayyayūḥāmāillāattabiʿuinmalakuninnīlakumaqūluwalāl-ghaybaaʿlamuwalāl-lahikhazāinuʿindīlakumaqūlulāqul
SayNot(do) I sayto you(that) with me(are the) treasures(of) Allahand not(that) I knowthe unseenand notI sayto youthat I (am)an AngelNot(do) I followexceptwhatis revealedto meSayCanbe equalthe blindand the seeing oneThen will notyou give thought
6:50
وَأَنذِرْبِهِٱلَّذِينَيَخَافُونَأَنيُحْشَرُوٓا۟إِلَىٰرَبِّهِمْ ۙلَيْسَلَهُممِّندُونِهِۦوَلِىٌّۭوَلَاشَفِيعٌۭلَّعَلَّهُمْيَتَّقُونَ
yattaqūnalaʿallahumshafīʿunwalāwaliyyundūnihiminlahumlaysarabbihimilāyuḥ'sharūanyakhāfūnaalladhīnabihiwa-andhir
And warnwith itthose whofearthatthey will be gatheredtotheir Lordnotfor themofother than Himany protectorand notany intercessorso that they may(become) righteous
6:51
وَلَاتَطْرُدِٱلَّذِينَيَدْعُونَرَبَّهُمبِٱلْغَدَوٰةِوَٱلْعَشِىِّيُرِيدُونَوَجْهَهُۥ ۖمَاعَلَيْكَمِنْحِسَابِهِممِّنشَىْءٍۢوَمَامِنْحِسَابِكَعَلَيْهِممِّنشَىْءٍۢفَتَطْرُدَهُمْفَتَكُونَمِنَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnaminafatakūnafataṭrudahumshayinminʿalayhimḥisābikaminwamāshayinminḥisābihimminʿalaykamāwajhahuyurīdūnawal-ʿashiyibil-ghadatirabbahumyadʿūnaalladhīnataṭrudiwalā
And (do) notsend awaythose whocalltheir Lordin the morningand the eveningdesiringHis CountenanceNot(is) on youoftheir account[of]anythingand notfromyour accounton them[of]anythingSo were you to send them awaythen you would beofthe wrongdoers
6:52
وَكَذَٰلِكَفَتَنَّابَعْضَهُمبِبَعْضٍۢلِّيَقُولُوٓا۟أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِمَنَّٱللَّهُعَلَيْهِممِّنۢبَيْنِنَآ ۗأَلَيْسَٱللَّهُبِأَعْلَمَبِٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ
bil-shākirīnabi-aʿlamal-lahualaysabaynināminʿalayhiml-lahumannaahāulāiliyaqūlūbibaʿḍinbaʿḍahumfatannāwakadhālika
And thusWe trysome of themwith othersthat they sayAre these(whom has been) favored(by) Allah[upon them]fromamong usis notAllahmost knowingof those who are grateful
6:53
وَإِذَاجَآءَكَٱلَّذِينَيُؤْمِنُونَبِـَٔايَـٰتِنَافَقُلْسَلَـٰمٌعَلَيْكُمْ ۖكَتَبَرَبُّكُمْعَلَىٰنَفْسِهِٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۖأَنَّهُۥمَنْعَمِلَمِنكُمْسُوٓءًۢابِجَهَـٰلَةٍۢثُمَّتَابَمِنۢبَعْدِهِۦوَأَصْلَحَفَأَنَّهُۥغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunghafūrunfa-annahuwa-aṣlaḥabaʿdihimintābathummabijahālatinsūanminkumʿamilamanannahul-raḥmatanafsihiʿalārabbukumkatabaʿalaykumsalāmunfaqulbiāyātināyu'minūnaalladhīnajāakawa-idhā
And whencome to youthose whobelievein Our Versesthen sayPeace(be) upon you(Has) Prescribedyour LorduponHimselfthe Mercythat hewhodoesamong youevilin ignorancethenrepentsfromafter itand reformsthen, indeed He(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
6:54
وَكَذَٰلِكَنُفَصِّلُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِوَلِتَسْتَبِينَسَبِيلُٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
l-muj'rimīnasabīluwalitastabīnal-āyātinufaṣṣiluwakadhālika
And thusWe explainthe Versesso that becomes manifest(the) way(of) the criminals
6:55
قُلْإِنِّىنُهِيتُأَنْأَعْبُدَٱلَّذِينَتَدْعُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِ ۚقُللَّآأَتَّبِعُأَهْوَآءَكُمْ ۙقَدْضَلَلْتُإِذًۭاوَمَآأَنَا۠مِنَٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
l-muh'tadīnaminaanāwamāidhanḍalaltuqadahwāakumattabiʿulāqull-lahidūnimintadʿūnaalladhīnaaʿbudaannuhītuinnīqul
SayIndeed I[I] am forbiddenthatI worshipthose whomyou callfrombesidesAllahSayNotI followyour (vain) desirescertainlyI would go astraythenand notI (would be)fromthe guided-ones
6:56
قُلْإِنِّىعَلَىٰبَيِّنَةٍۢمِّنرَّبِّىوَكَذَّبْتُمبِهِۦ ۚمَاعِندِىمَاتَسْتَعْجِلُونَبِهِۦٓ ۚإِنِٱلْحُكْمُإِلَّالِلَّهِ ۖيَقُصُّٱلْحَقَّ ۖوَهُوَخَيْرُٱلْفَـٰصِلِينَ
l-fāṣilīnakhayruwahuwal-ḥaqayaquṣṣulillahiillāl-ḥuk'muinibihitastaʿjilūnamāʿindīmābihiwakadhabtumrabbīminbayyinatinʿalāinnīqul
SayIndeed, I (am)onclear prooffrommy Lordwhile you deny[with] itNotI havewhatyou seek to hastenof itNot(is) the decisionexceptfor AllahHe relatesthe truthand He(is the) best(of) the Deciders
6:57
قُللَّوْأَنَّعِندِىمَاتَسْتَعْجِلُونَبِهِۦلَقُضِىَٱلْأَمْرُبَيْنِىوَبَيْنَكُمْ ۗوَٱللَّهُأَعْلَمُبِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
bil-ẓālimīnaaʿlamuwal-lahuwabaynakumbaynīl-amrulaquḍiyabihitastaʿjilūnamāʿindīannalawqul
SayIfthat(were) with mewhatyou seek to hastenof itsurely would have been decidedthe matterbetween meand between youAnd Allah(is) most knowingof the wrongdoers
6:58
۞ وَعِندَهُۥمَفَاتِحُٱلْغَيْبِلَايَعْلَمُهَآإِلَّاهُوَ ۚوَيَعْلَمُمَافِىٱلْبَرِّوَٱلْبَحْرِ ۚوَمَاتَسْقُطُمِنوَرَقَةٍإِلَّايَعْلَمُهَاوَلَاحَبَّةٍۢفِىظُلُمَـٰتِٱلْأَرْضِوَلَارَطْبٍۢوَلَايَابِسٍإِلَّافِىكِتَـٰبٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninkitābinfīillāyābisinwalāraṭbinwalāl-arḍiẓulumātifīḥabbatinwalāyaʿlamuhāillāwaraqatinmintasquṭuwamāwal-baḥril-barifīmāwayaʿlamuhuwaillāyaʿlamuhālāl-ghaybimafātiḥuwaʿindahu
And with Him(are the) keys(of) the unseenno (one)knows themexceptHimAnd He knowswhat(is) inthe landand in the seaAnd notfallsofany leafbutHe knows itAnd nota graininthe darkness[es](of) the earthand notmoistand notdrybut(is) ina RecordClear
6:59
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىيَتَوَفَّىٰكُمبِٱلَّيْلِوَيَعْلَمُمَاجَرَحْتُمبِٱلنَّهَارِثُمَّيَبْعَثُكُمْفِيهِلِيُقْضَىٰٓأَجَلٌۭمُّسَمًّۭى ۖثُمَّإِلَيْهِمَرْجِعُكُمْثُمَّيُنَبِّئُكُمبِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāyunabbi-ukumthummamarjiʿukumilayhithummamusammanajalunliyuq'ḍāfīhiyabʿathukumthummabil-nahārijaraḥtummāwayaʿlamubi-al-layliyatawaffākumalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whotakes your (soul)by the nightand He knowswhatyou committedby the dayThenHe raises you upthereinso that is fulfilled(the) termspecifiedThento Himwill be your returnthenHe will inform youabout whatyou used todo
6:60
وَهُوَٱلْقَاهِرُفَوْقَعِبَادِهِۦ ۖوَيُرْسِلُعَلَيْكُمْحَفَظَةًحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاجَآءَأَحَدَكُمُٱلْمَوْتُتَوَفَّتْهُرُسُلُنَاوَهُمْلَايُفَرِّطُونَ
yufarriṭūnalāwahumrusulunātawaffathul-mawtuaḥadakumujāaidhāḥattāḥafaẓatanʿalaykumwayur'siluʿibādihifawqal-qāhiruwahuwa
And He(is) the SubjugatoroverHis slavesand He sendsover youguardiansuntilwhencomes(to) anyone of youthe deathtake himOur messengersand they(do) notfail
6:61
ثُمَّرُدُّوٓا۟إِلَىٱللَّهِمَوْلَىٰهُمُٱلْحَقِّ ۚأَلَالَهُٱلْحُكْمُوَهُوَأَسْرَعُٱلْحَـٰسِبِينَ
l-ḥāsibīnaasraʿuwahuwal-ḥuk'mulahualāl-ḥaqimawlāhumul-lahiilāruddūthumma
Thenthey are returnedtoAllahtheir Protector [the] TrueUnquestionablyfor Him(is) the judgmentAnd He(is) swiftest(of) the Reckoners
6:62
قُلْمَنيُنَجِّيكُممِّنظُلُمَـٰتِٱلْبَرِّوَٱلْبَحْرِتَدْعُونَهُۥتَضَرُّعًۭاوَخُفْيَةًۭلَّئِنْأَنجَىٰنَامِنْهَـٰذِهِۦلَنَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ
l-shākirīnaminalanakūnannahādhihiminanjānāla-inwakhuf'yatantaḍarruʿantadʿūnahuwal-baḥril-bariẓulumātiminyunajjīkummanqul
SayWhosaves youfromdarkness[es](of) the landand the seayou call Himhumblyand secretlyIfHe saves usfromthissurely we will befromthe grateful ones
6:63
قُلِٱللَّهُيُنَجِّيكُممِّنْهَاوَمِنكُلِّكَرْبٍۢثُمَّأَنتُمْتُشْرِكُونَ
tush'rikūnaantumthummakarbinkulliwaminmin'hāyunajjīkuml-lahuquli
SayAllahsaves youfrom itand fromeverydistressyetyouassociate partners (with Allah)
6:64
قُلْهُوَٱلْقَادِرُعَلَىٰٓأَنيَبْعَثَعَلَيْكُمْعَذَابًۭامِّنفَوْقِكُمْأَوْمِنتَحْتِأَرْجُلِكُمْأَوْيَلْبِسَكُمْشِيَعًۭاوَيُذِيقَبَعْضَكُمبَأْسَبَعْضٍ ۗٱنظُرْكَيْفَنُصَرِّفُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلَعَلَّهُمْيَفْقَهُونَ
yafqahūnalaʿallahuml-āyātinuṣarrifukayfaunẓurbaʿḍinbasabaʿḍakumwayudhīqashiyaʿanyalbisakumawarjulikumtaḥtiminawfawqikumminʿadhābanʿalaykumyabʿathaanʿalāl-qādiruhuwaqul
SayHe(is) All-Capable[on]tosendupon youpunishmentfromabove youorfrombeneathyour feetor(to) confuse you(into) sectsand make (you) taste some of youviolence(of) othersSeehowWe explainthe Signsso that they mayunderstand
6:65
وَكَذَّبَبِهِۦقَوْمُكَوَهُوَٱلْحَقُّ ۚقُللَّسْتُعَلَيْكُمبِوَكِيلٍۢ
biwakīlinʿalaykumlastuqull-ḥaquwahuwaqawmukabihiwakadhaba
But deniedit your peoplewhile it(is) the truthSayI am notover youa manager
6:66
لِّكُلِّنَبَإٍۢمُّسْتَقَرٌّۭ ۚوَسَوْفَتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnawasawfamus'taqarrunnaba-inlikulli
For everynews(is) a fixed timeand soonyou will know
6:67
وَإِذَارَأَيْتَٱلَّذِينَيَخُوضُونَفِىٓءَايَـٰتِنَافَأَعْرِضْعَنْهُمْحَتَّىٰيَخُوضُوا۟فِىحَدِيثٍغَيْرِهِۦ ۚوَإِمَّايُنسِيَنَّكَٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُفَلَاتَقْعُدْبَعْدَٱلذِّكْرَىٰمَعَٱلْقَوْمِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnal-qawmimaʿal-dhik'rābaʿdataqʿudfalāl-shayṭānuyunsiyannakawa-immāghayrihiḥadīthinfīyakhūḍūḥattāʿanhumfa-aʿriḍāyātināfīyakhūḍūnaalladhīnara-aytawa-idhā
And whenyou seethose whoengage (in vain talks)aboutOur Versesthen turn awayfrom themuntilthey engageina talkother than itAnd ifcauses you to forgetthe Shaitaanthen (do) notsitafterthe reminderwiththe people the wrongdoers
6:68
وَمَاعَلَىٱلَّذِينَيَتَّقُونَمِنْحِسَابِهِممِّنشَىْءٍۢوَلَـٰكِنذِكْرَىٰلَعَلَّهُمْيَتَّقُونَ
yattaqūnalaʿallahumdhik'rāwalākinshayinminḥisābihimminyattaqūnaalladhīnaʿalāwamā
And not(is) onthose whofear (Allah)oftheir account[of]anythingbut(for) reminderso that they mayfear (Allah)
6:69
وَذَرِٱلَّذِينَٱتَّخَذُوا۟دِينَهُمْلَعِبًۭاوَلَهْوًۭاوَغَرَّتْهُمُٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَا ۚوَذَكِّرْبِهِۦٓأَنتُبْسَلَنَفْسٌۢبِمَاكَسَبَتْلَيْسَلَهَامِندُونِٱللَّهِوَلِىٌّۭوَلَاشَفِيعٌۭوَإِنتَعْدِلْكُلَّعَدْلٍۢلَّايُؤْخَذْمِنْهَآ ۗأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَأُبْسِلُوا۟بِمَاكَسَبُوا۟ ۖلَهُمْشَرَابٌۭمِّنْحَمِيمٍۢوَعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌۢبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَكْفُرُونَ
yakfurūnakānūbimāalīmunwaʿadhābunḥamīminminsharābunlahumkasabūbimāub'silūalladhīnaulāikamin'hāyu'khadhlāʿadlinkullataʿdilwa-inshafīʿunwalāwaliyyunl-lahidūniminlahālaysakasabatbimānafsuntub'salaanbihiwadhakkirl-dun'yāl-ḥayatuwagharrathumuwalahwanlaʿibandīnahumittakhadhūalladhīnawadhari
And leavethose whotaketheir religion(as) a playand amusementand deluded themthe life(of) the worldBut remindwith itlestis given up to destructiona soulfor whatit (has) earnednot(is) for itfrombesidesAllahany protectorand notany intercessorAnd ifit offers ransom everyransomnotwill it be takenfrom itThose(are) ones whoare given to destructionfor whatthey earnedFor them(will be) a drinkofboiling waterand a punishmentpainfulbecausethey used todisbelieve
6:70
قُلْأَنَدْعُوا۟مِندُونِٱللَّهِمَالَايَنفَعُنَاوَلَايَضُرُّنَاوَنُرَدُّعَلَىٰٓأَعْقَابِنَابَعْدَإِذْهَدَىٰنَاٱللَّهُكَٱلَّذِىٱسْتَهْوَتْهُٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُفِىٱلْأَرْضِحَيْرَانَلَهُۥٓأَصْحَـٰبٌۭيَدْعُونَهُۥٓإِلَىٱلْهُدَىٱئْتِنَا ۗقُلْإِنَّهُدَىٱللَّهِهُوَٱلْهُدَىٰ ۖوَأُمِرْنَالِنُسْلِمَلِرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnalirabbilinus'limawa-umir'nāl-hudāhuwal-lahihudāinnaquli'tināl-hudāilāyadʿūnahuaṣḥābunlahuḥayrānal-arḍifīl-shayāṭīnuis'tahwathuka-alladhīl-lahuhadānāidhbaʿdaaʿqābināʿalāwanuradduyaḍurrunāwalāyanfaʿunālāmāl-lahidūniminanadʿūqul
SayShall we callfrombesidesAllahwhatnotbenefits usand notharms usand we turn backonour heelsafter[when](has) guided usAllahLike the onewhom (has been) enticed(by) the Shaitaaninthe earthconfusedhe hascompanionswho call himtowardsthe guidance'Come to us.'SayIndeed(the) Guidance(of) Allahit(is) the Guidanceand we have been commandedthat we submitto (the) Lord(of) the worlds
6:71
وَأَنْأَقِيمُوا۟ٱلصَّلَوٰةَوَٱتَّقُوهُ ۚوَهُوَٱلَّذِىٓإِلَيْهِتُحْشَرُونَ
tuḥ'sharūnailayhialladhīwahuwawa-ittaqūhul-ṣalataaqīmūwa-an
And toestablishthe prayerand fear HimAnd He(is) the Oneto Himyou will be gathered
6:72
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَبِٱلْحَقِّ ۖوَيَوْمَيَقُولُكُنفَيَكُونُ ۚقَوْلُهُٱلْحَقُّ ۚوَلَهُٱلْمُلْكُيَوْمَيُنفَخُفِىٱلصُّورِ ۚعَـٰلِمُٱلْغَيْبِوَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ۚوَهُوَٱلْحَكِيمُٱلْخَبِيرُ
l-khabīrul-ḥakīmuwahuwawal-shahādatil-ghaybiʿālimul-ṣūrifīyunfakhuyawmal-mul'kuwalahul-ḥaquqawluhufayakūnukunyaqūluwayawmabil-ḥaqiwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqaalladhīwahuwa
And (it is) HeWhocreatedthe heavensand the earthin truthAnd (the) DayHe saysBeand it isHis word(is) the truthAnd for Him(is) the Dominion(on the) Daywill be blowninthe trumpet(He is) All-Knower(of) the unseenand the seenAnd He(is) the All-Wisethe All-Aware
6:73
۞ وَإِذْقَالَإِبْرَٰهِيمُلِأَبِيهِءَازَرَأَتَتَّخِذُأَصْنَامًاءَالِهَةً ۖإِنِّىٓأَرَىٰكَوَقَوْمَكَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninḍalālinfīwaqawmakaarākainnīālihatanaṣnāmanatattakhidhuāzarali-abīhiib'rāhīmuqālawa-idh
And whensaidIbrahimto his fatherAzarDo you takeidols(as) godsIndeed, I[I] see youand your peopleinerrormanifest
6:74
وَكَذَٰلِكَنُرِىٓإِبْرَٰهِيمَمَلَكُوتَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِوَلِيَكُونَمِنَٱلْمُوقِنِينَ
l-mūqinīnaminawaliyakūnawal-arḍil-samāwātimalakūtaib'rāhīmanurīwakadhālika
And thusWe show(ed)Ibrahimthe kingdom(of) the heavensand the earthso that he would beamongthe ones who are certain
6:75
فَلَمَّاجَنَّعَلَيْهِٱلَّيْلُرَءَاكَوْكَبًۭا ۖقَالَهَـٰذَارَبِّى ۖفَلَمَّآأَفَلَقَالَلَآأُحِبُّٱلْـَٔافِلِينَ
l-āfilīnauḥibbulāqālaafalafalammārabbīhādhāqālakawkabanraāal-layluʿalayhijannafalammā
So whencoveredover himthe nighthe sawa starHe saidThis(is) my LordBut whenit sethe saidNot(do) I likethe ones that set
6:76
فَلَمَّارَءَاٱلْقَمَرَبَازِغًۭاقَالَهَـٰذَارَبِّى ۖفَلَمَّآأَفَلَقَالَلَئِنلَّمْيَهْدِنِىرَبِّىلَأَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلْقَوْمِٱلضَّآلِّينَ
l-ḍālīnal-qawmiminala-akūnannarabbīyahdinīlamla-inqālaafalafalammārabbīhādhāqālabāzighanl-qamararaāfalammā
Whenhe sawthe moonrisinghe saidThis(is) my LordBut whenit sethe saidIf(does) notguide memy LordI will surely beamongthe peoplewho went astray
6:77
فَلَمَّارَءَاٱلشَّمْسَبَازِغَةًۭقَالَهَـٰذَارَبِّىهَـٰذَآأَكْبَرُ ۖفَلَمَّآأَفَلَتْقَالَيَـٰقَوْمِإِنِّىبَرِىٓءٌۭمِّمَّاتُشْرِكُونَ
tush'rikūnamimmābarīoninnīyāqawmiqālaafalatfalammāakbaruhādhārabbīhādhāqālabāzighatanl-shamsaraāfalammā
Whenhe sawthe sunrisinghe saidThis (is)my Lordthis (is)greaterBut whenit sethe saidO my peopleIndeed, I amfreeof whatyou associate (with Allah)
6:78
إِنِّىوَجَّهْتُوَجْهِىَلِلَّذِىفَطَرَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَحَنِيفًۭا ۖوَمَآأَنَا۠مِنَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
l-mush'rikīnaminaanāwamāḥanīfanwal-arḍal-samāwātifaṭaralilladhīwajhiyawajjahtuinnī
Indeed, I[I] have turnedmy faceto the One Whocreatedthe heavensand the earth(as) a true monotheistand notI (am)ofthe polytheists
6:79
وَحَآجَّهُۥقَوْمُهُۥ ۚقَالَأَتُحَـٰٓجُّوٓنِّىفِىٱللَّهِوَقَدْهَدَىٰنِ ۚوَلَآأَخَافُمَاتُشْرِكُونَبِهِۦٓإِلَّآأَنيَشَآءَرَبِّىشَيْـًۭٔا ۗوَسِعَرَبِّىكُلَّشَىْءٍعِلْمًا ۗأَفَلَاتَتَذَكَّرُونَ
tatadhakkarūnaafalāʿil'manshayinkullarabbīwasiʿashayanrabbīyashāaanillābihitush'rikūnamāakhāfuwalāhadāniwaqadl-lahifīatuḥājjūnnīqālaqawmuhuwaḥājjahu
And argued with himhis peopleHe saidDo you argue with meconcerningAllahwhile certainlyHe has guided meAnd not(do) I fearwhatyou associatewith Himunless[that]willsmy LordanythingEncompassesmy Lordeverything(in) knowledgeThen will notyou take heed
6:80
وَكَيْفَأَخَافُمَآأَشْرَكْتُمْوَلَاتَخَافُونَأَنَّكُمْأَشْرَكْتُمبِٱللَّهِمَالَمْيُنَزِّلْبِهِۦعَلَيْكُمْسُلْطَـٰنًۭا ۚفَأَىُّٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِأَحَقُّبِٱلْأَمْنِ ۖإِنكُنتُمْتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnakuntuminbil-amniaḥaqqul-farīqaynifa-ayyusul'ṭānanʿalaykumbihiyunazzillammābil-lahiashraktumannakumtakhāfūnawalāashraktummāakhāfuwakayfa
And howcould I fearwhatyou associate (with Allah)while notyou fearthat youhave associatedwith Allahwhatnotdid He send downfor itto youany authoritySo which(of) the two partieshas more rightto securityifyouknow
6:81
ٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَلَمْيَلْبِسُوٓا۟إِيمَـٰنَهُمبِظُلْمٍأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَلَهُمُٱلْأَمْنُوَهُممُّهْتَدُونَ
muh'tadūnawahuml-amnulahumuulāikabiẓul'minīmānahumyalbisūwalamāmanūalladhīna
Those whobelievedand (did) notmixtheir beliefwith wrongthosefor them(is) the securityand they(are) rightly guided
6:82
وَتِلْكَحُجَّتُنَآءَاتَيْنَـٰهَآإِبْرَٰهِيمَعَلَىٰقَوْمِهِۦ ۚنَرْفَعُدَرَجَـٰتٍۢمَّننَّشَآءُ ۗإِنَّرَبَّكَحَكِيمٌعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunḥakīmunrabbakainnanashāumandarajātinnarfaʿuqawmihiʿalāib'rāhīmaātaynāhāḥujjatunāwatil'ka
And this(is) Our argumentWe gave it(to) Ibrahimagainsthis peopleWe raise(by) degreeswhomWe willIndeedyour Lord(is) All-WiseAll-Knowing
6:83
وَوَهَبْنَالَهُۥٓإِسْحَـٰقَوَيَعْقُوبَ ۚكُلًّاهَدَيْنَا ۚوَنُوحًاهَدَيْنَامِنقَبْلُ ۖوَمِنذُرِّيَّتِهِۦدَاوُۥدَوَسُلَيْمَـٰنَوَأَيُّوبَوَيُوسُفَوَمُوسَىٰوَهَـٰرُونَ ۚوَكَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِىٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnanajzīwakadhālikawahārūnawamūsāwayūsufawa-ayyūbawasulaymānadāwūdadhurriyyatihiwaminqabluminhadaynāwanūḥanhadaynākullanwayaʿqūbais'ḥāqalahuwawahabnā
And We bestowedto himIsaacand YaquballWe guidedAnd NuhWe guidedfrombeforeand ofhis descendentsDawoodand Sulaimanand Ayyuband Yusufand Musaand HarunAnd thusWe rewardthe good-doers
6:84
وَزَكَرِيَّاوَيَحْيَىٰوَعِيسَىٰوَإِلْيَاسَ ۖكُلٌّۭمِّنَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
l-ṣāliḥīnaminakullunwa-il'yāsawaʿīsāwayaḥyāwazakariyyā
And Zakariyaand Yahyaand Isaand Elijah all (were)ofthe righteous
6:85
وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَوَٱلْيَسَعَوَيُونُسَوَلُوطًۭا ۚوَكُلًّۭافَضَّلْنَاعَلَىٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnaʿalāfaḍḍalnāwakullanwalūṭanwayūnusawal-yasaʿawa-is'māʿīla
And Ishmaeland Elishaand Yunusand Lutand allWe preferredoverthe worlds
6:86
وَمِنْءَابَآئِهِمْوَذُرِّيَّـٰتِهِمْوَإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ ۖوَٱجْتَبَيْنَـٰهُمْوَهَدَيْنَـٰهُمْإِلَىٰصِرَٰطٍۢمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
mus'taqīminṣirāṭinilāwahadaynāhumwa-ij'tabaynāhumwa-ikh'wānihimwadhurriyyātihimābāihimwamin
And fromtheir fathersand their descendentsand their brothers and We chose themand We guided themtoa pathstraight
6:87
ذَٰلِكَهُدَىٱللَّهِيَهْدِىبِهِۦمَنيَشَآءُمِنْعِبَادِهِۦ ۚوَلَوْأَشْرَكُوا۟لَحَبِطَعَنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūmāʿanhumlaḥabiṭaashrakūwalawʿibādihiminyashāumanbihiyahdīl-lahihudādhālika
That(is the) Guidance(of) AllahHe guideswith itwhomHe willsofHis slavesBut ifthey (had) associated partners (with Allah)surely (would be) worthlessfor themwhatthey used todo
6:88
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُٱلْكِتَـٰبَوَٱلْحُكْمَوَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ ۚفَإِنيَكْفُرْبِهَاهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِفَقَدْوَكَّلْنَابِهَاقَوْمًۭالَّيْسُوا۟بِهَابِكَـٰفِرِينَ
bikāfirīnabihālaysūqawmanbihāwakkalnāfaqadhāulāibihāyakfurfa-inwal-nubuwatawal-ḥuk'mal-kitābaātaynāhumualladhīnaulāika
Those (are) ones whomWe gave themthe Bookand the judgmentand the ProphethoodBut ifdisbelievein itthesethen indeedWe have entrustedit(to) a peoplewho are notthereindisbelievers
6:89
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَهَدَىٱللَّهُ ۖفَبِهُدَىٰهُمُٱقْتَدِهْ ۗقُللَّآأَسْـَٔلُكُمْعَلَيْهِأَجْرًا ۖإِنْهُوَإِلَّاذِكْرَىٰلِلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
lil'ʿālamīnadhik'rāillāhuwainajranʿalayhiasalukumlāquliq'tadihfabihudāhumul-lahuhadāalladhīnaulāika
Those(are) ones whom(have been) guided(by) Allahso of their guidanceyou followSayNotI ask youfor itany rewardNot(is) itbuta reminderfor the worlds
6:90
وَمَاقَدَرُوا۟ٱللَّهَحَقَّقَدْرِهِۦٓإِذْقَالُوا۟مَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُعَلَىٰبَشَرٍۢمِّنشَىْءٍۢ ۗقُلْمَنْأَنزَلَٱلْكِتَـٰبَٱلَّذِىجَآءَبِهِۦمُوسَىٰنُورًۭاوَهُدًۭىلِّلنَّاسِ ۖتَجْعَلُونَهُۥقَرَاطِيسَتُبْدُونَهَاوَتُخْفُونَكَثِيرًۭا ۖوَعُلِّمْتُممَّالَمْتَعْلَمُوٓا۟أَنتُمْوَلَآءَابَآؤُكُمْ ۖقُلِٱللَّهُ ۖثُمَّذَرْهُمْفِىخَوْضِهِمْيَلْعَبُونَ
yalʿabūnakhawḍihimfīdharhumthummal-lahuquliābāukumwalāantumtaʿlamūlammāwaʿullim'tumkathīranwatukh'fūnatub'dūnahāqarāṭīsatajʿalūnahulilnnāsiwahudannūranmūsābihijāaalladhīl-kitābaanzalamanqulshayinminbasharinʿalāl-lahuanzalamāqālūidhqadrihiḥaqqal-lahaqadarūwamā
And notthey appraisedAllah(with) true[of his] appraisalwhenthey saidNotrevealed(by) Allahona human being[of]anythingSayWhorevealedthe Bookwhichbrought[it]Musa(as) a lightand guidancefor the peopleYou make it(into) parchmentsyou disclose (some of) itand you concealmuch (of it)And you were taughtwhatnotknewyouand notyour forefathersSayAllah (revealed it)Thenleave themintheir discourse playing
6:91
وَهَـٰذَاكِتَـٰبٌأَنزَلْنَـٰهُمُبَارَكٌۭمُّصَدِّقُٱلَّذِىبَيْنَيَدَيْهِوَلِتُنذِرَأُمَّٱلْقُرَىٰوَمَنْحَوْلَهَا ۚوَٱلَّذِينَيُؤْمِنُونَبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِيُؤْمِنُونَبِهِۦ ۖوَهُمْعَلَىٰصَلَاتِهِمْيُحَافِظُونَ
yuḥāfiẓūnaṣalātihimʿalāwahumbihiyu'minūnabil-ākhiratiyu'minūnawa-alladhīnaḥawlahāwamanl-qurāummawalitundhirayadayhibaynaalladhīmuṣaddiqumubārakunanzalnāhukitābunwahādhā
And this(is) a BookWe have revealed itblessedconfirmingwhich(came) beforeits handsso that you may warn(the) mother(of) the citiesand who(are) around itAnd those whobelievein the Hereafterthey believein itand theyovertheir prayers(are) guarding
6:92
وَمَنْأَظْلَمُمِمَّنِٱفْتَرَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِكَذِبًاأَوْقَالَأُوحِىَإِلَىَّوَلَمْيُوحَإِلَيْهِشَىْءٌۭوَمَنقَالَسَأُنزِلُمِثْلَمَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُ ۗوَلَوْتَرَىٰٓإِذِٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَفِىغَمَرَٰتِٱلْمَوْتِوَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُبَاسِطُوٓا۟أَيْدِيهِمْأَخْرِجُوٓا۟أَنفُسَكُمُ ۖٱلْيَوْمَتُجْزَوْنَعَذَابَٱلْهُونِبِمَاكُنتُمْتَقُولُونَعَلَىٱللَّهِغَيْرَٱلْحَقِّوَكُنتُمْعَنْءَايَـٰتِهِۦتَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
tastakbirūnaāyātihiʿanwakuntuml-ḥaqighayral-lahiʿalātaqūlūnakuntumbimāl-hūniʿadhābatuj'zawnal-yawmaanfusakumuakhrijūaydīhimbāsiṭūwal-malāikatul-mawtighamarātifīl-ẓālimūnaidhitarāwalawl-lahuanzalamāmith'lasa-unziluqālawamanshayonilayhiyūḥawalamilayyaūḥiyaqālaawkadhibanl-lahiʿalāif'tarāmimmaniaẓlamuwaman
And who(is) more unjustthan (one) whoinventsaboutAllaha lieorsaidIt has been inspiredto mewhile notit was inspiredto himanythingand (one) whosaidI will reveallikewhat(has been) revealed(by) AllahAnd ifyou (could) seewhenthe wrongdoers(are) inagonies(of) [the] deathwhile the Angels(are) stretching outtheir hands (saying)Dischargeyour soulsTodayyou will be recompensed(with) punishmenthumiliatingbecauseyou used tosayagainstAllahother thanthe truthand you weretowardsHis Versesbeing arrogant
6:93
وَلَقَدْجِئْتُمُونَافُرَٰدَىٰكَمَاخَلَقْنَـٰكُمْأَوَّلَمَرَّةٍۢوَتَرَكْتُممَّاخَوَّلْنَـٰكُمْوَرَآءَظُهُورِكُمْ ۖوَمَانَرَىٰمَعَكُمْشُفَعَآءَكُمُٱلَّذِينَزَعَمْتُمْأَنَّهُمْفِيكُمْشُرَكَـٰٓؤُا۟ ۚلَقَدتَّقَطَّعَبَيْنَكُمْوَضَلَّعَنكُممَّاكُنتُمْتَزْعُمُونَ
tazʿumūnakuntummāʿankumwaḍallabaynakumtaqaṭṭaʿalaqadshurakāufīkumannahumzaʿamtumalladhīnashufaʿāakumumaʿakumnarāwamāẓuhūrikumwarāakhawwalnākummāwataraktummarratinawwalakhalaqnākumkamāfurādāji'tumūnāwalaqad
And certainlyyou have come to UsaloneasWe created you(the) firsttimeand you have leftwhateverWe bestowed (on) youbehindyour backsAnd notWe seewith youyour intercessorsthose whomyou claimedthat they (were)in your (matters)partners (with Allah)Indeedhave been severed (bonds)between youand is lostfrom youwhatyou used toclaim
6:94
۞ إِنَّٱللَّهَفَالِقُٱلْحَبِّوَٱلنَّوَىٰ ۖيُخْرِجُٱلْحَىَّمِنَٱلْمَيِّتِوَمُخْرِجُٱلْمَيِّتِمِنَٱلْحَىِّ ۚذَٰلِكُمُٱللَّهُ ۖفَأَنَّىٰتُؤْفَكُونَ
tu'fakūnafa-annāl-lahudhālikumul-ḥayiminal-mayitiwamukh'rijul-mayitiminal-ḥayayukh'rijuwal-nawāl-ḥabifāliqul-lahainna
IndeedAllah(is the) Cleaver(of) the grainand the date-seedHe brings forththe livingfromthe deadand brings forththe deadfromthe livingThat(is) Allahso howare you deluded
6:95
فَالِقُٱلْإِصْبَاحِوَجَعَلَٱلَّيْلَسَكَنًۭاوَٱلشَّمْسَوَٱلْقَمَرَحُسْبَانًۭا ۚذَٰلِكَتَقْدِيرُٱلْعَزِيزِٱلْعَلِيمِ
l-ʿalīmil-ʿazīzitaqdīrudhālikaḥus'bānanwal-qamarawal-shamsasakananal-laylawajaʿalal-iṣ'bāḥifāliqu
(He is the) Cleaver(of) the daybreakand He has madethe night(for) restand the sunand the moon(for) reckoningThat(is the) ordaining(of) the All-Mightythe All-Knowing
6:96
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىجَعَلَلَكُمُٱلنُّجُومَلِتَهْتَدُوا۟بِهَافِىظُلُمَـٰتِٱلْبَرِّوَٱلْبَحْرِ ۗقَدْفَصَّلْنَاٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلِقَوْمٍۢيَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnaliqawminl-āyātifaṣṣalnāqadwal-baḥril-bariẓulumātifībihālitahtadūl-nujūmalakumujaʿalaalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whomadefor youthe starsthat you may guide yourselveswith theminthe darkness[es](of) the landand the seaCertainlyWe have made clearthe Signsfor a people(who) know
6:97
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىٓأَنشَأَكُممِّننَّفْسٍۢوَٰحِدَةٍۢفَمُسْتَقَرٌّۭوَمُسْتَوْدَعٌۭ ۗقَدْفَصَّلْنَاٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلِقَوْمٍۢيَفْقَهُونَ
yafqahūnaliqawminl-āyātifaṣṣalnāqadwamus'tawdaʿunfamus'taqarrunwāḥidatinnafsinminansha-akumalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Who(has) produced youfroma soulsingleso (there is) a place of dwellingand a resting placeCertainlyWe have made clearthe Signsfor a people(who) understand
6:98
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىٓأَنزَلَمِنَٱلسَّمَآءِمَآءًۭفَأَخْرَجْنَابِهِۦنَبَاتَكُلِّشَىْءٍۢفَأَخْرَجْنَامِنْهُخَضِرًۭانُّخْرِجُمِنْهُحَبًّۭامُّتَرَاكِبًۭاوَمِنَٱلنَّخْلِمِنطَلْعِهَاقِنْوَانٌۭدَانِيَةٌۭوَجَنَّـٰتٍۢمِّنْأَعْنَابٍۢوَٱلزَّيْتُونَوَٱلرُّمَّانَمُشْتَبِهًۭاوَغَيْرَمُتَشَـٰبِهٍ ۗٱنظُرُوٓا۟إِلَىٰثَمَرِهِۦٓإِذَآأَثْمَرَوَيَنْعِهِۦٓ ۚإِنَّفِىذَٰلِكُمْلَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢلِّقَوْمٍۢيُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnaliqawminlaāyātindhālikumfīinnawayanʿihiathmaraidhāthamarihiilāunẓurūmutashābihinwaghayramush'tabihanwal-rumānawal-zaytūnaaʿnābinminwajannātindāniyatunqin'wānunṭalʿihāminl-nakhliwaminamutarākibanḥabbanmin'hunukh'rijukhaḍiranmin'hufa-akhrajnāshayinkullinabātabihifa-akhrajnāmāanl-samāiminaanzalaalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whosends downfromthe skywaterthen We bring forthwith itvegetation(of) everythingThen We bring forthfrom itgreen plantWe bring forthfrom itgrain thick clusteredAnd fromthe date-palmfromits spatheclusters of dateshanging lowAnd gardensofgrapesand the olivesand the pomegranatesresemblingand notresemblingLookatits fruitwhenit bears fruitand its ripeningIndeedinthat(are) signsfor a people(who) believe
6:99
وَجَعَلُوا۟لِلَّهِشُرَكَآءَٱلْجِنَّوَخَلَقَهُمْ ۖوَخَرَقُوا۟لَهُۥبَنِينَوَبَنَـٰتٍۭبِغَيْرِعِلْمٍۢ ۚسُبْحَـٰنَهُۥوَتَعَـٰلَىٰعَمَّايَصِفُونَ
yaṣifūnaʿammāwataʿālāsub'ḥānahuʿil'minbighayriwabanātinbanīnalahuwakharaqūwakhalaqahuml-jinashurakāalillahiwajaʿalū
And they makewith Allahpartners jinnthough He has created themand they falsely attributeto Himsonsand daughterswithoutknowledgeGlorified is Heand Exaltedabove whatthey attribute
6:100
بَدِيعُٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖأَنَّىٰيَكُونُلَهُۥوَلَدٌۭوَلَمْتَكُنلَّهُۥصَـٰحِبَةٌۭ ۖوَخَلَقَكُلَّشَىْءٍۢ ۖوَهُوَبِكُلِّشَىْءٍعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunshayinbikulliwahuwashayinkullawakhalaqaṣāḥibatunlahutakunwalamwaladunlahuyakūnuannāwal-arḍil-samāwātibadīʿu
Originator(of) the heavensand the earthHowcan befor Hima sonwhile not(there) isfor Hima companionand He createdeverythingAnd He(is) of everythingAll-Knower
6:101
ذَٰلِكُمُٱللَّهُرَبُّكُمْ ۖلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَ ۖخَـٰلِقُكُلِّشَىْءٍۢفَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚوَهُوَعَلَىٰكُلِّشَىْءٍۢوَكِيلٌۭ
wakīlunshayinkulliʿalāwahuwafa-uʿ'budūhushayinkullikhāliquhuwaillāilāhalārabbukuml-lahudhālikumu
That(is) Allahyour Lord(there is) nogodexceptHim(the) Creator(of) everythingso worship HimAnd He(is) oneverythinga Guardian
6:102
لَّاتُدْرِكُهُٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُوَهُوَيُدْرِكُٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ ۖوَهُوَٱللَّطِيفُٱلْخَبِيرُ
l-khabīrul-laṭīfuwahuwal-abṣārayud'rikuwahuwal-abṣārutud'rikuhulā
Not (can)grasp Himthe visionsbut He(can) grasp(all) the visionand He (is)the All-Subtlethe All-Aware
6:103
قَدْجَآءَكُمبَصَآئِرُمِنرَّبِّكُمْ ۖفَمَنْأَبْصَرَفَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖوَمَنْعَمِىَفَعَلَيْهَا ۚوَمَآأَنَا۠عَلَيْكُمبِحَفِيظٍۢ
biḥafīẓinʿalaykumanāwamāfaʿalayhāʿamiyawamanfalinafsihiabṣarafamanrabbikumminbaṣāirujāakumqad
Verilyhas come to youenlightenmentfromyour LordThen whoeverseesthen (it is) for his souland whoever(is) blindthen (it is) against himselfAnd not(am) Iover youa guardian
6:104
وَكَذَٰلِكَنُصَرِّفُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِوَلِيَقُولُوا۟دَرَسْتَوَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥلِقَوْمٍۢيَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnaliqawminwalinubayyinahudarastawaliyaqūlūl-āyātinuṣarrifuwakadhālika
And thusWe explainthe Signsthat they (may) sayYou have studiedand that We (may) make it clearfor a peoplewho know
6:105
ٱتَّبِعْمَآأُوحِىَإِلَيْكَمِنرَّبِّكَ ۖلَآإِلَـٰهَإِلَّاهُوَ ۖوَأَعْرِضْعَنِٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
l-mush'rikīnaʿaniwa-aʿriḍhuwaillāilāhalārabbikaminilaykaūḥiyamāittabiʿ
Followwhathas been inspiredto youfromyour Lord(there is) nogodexceptHimand turn awayfromthe polytheists
6:106
وَلَوْشَآءَٱللَّهُمَآأَشْرَكُوا۟ ۗوَمَاجَعَلْنَـٰكَعَلَيْهِمْحَفِيظًۭا ۖوَمَآأَنتَعَلَيْهِمبِوَكِيلٍۢ
biwakīlinʿalayhimantawamāḥafīẓanʿalayhimjaʿalnākawamāashrakūmāl-lahushāawalaw
And if(had) willedAllahnot (they would have)associated partners (with Him)And notWe have made youover thema guardianand notyou(are) over thema manager
6:107
وَلَاتَسُبُّوا۟ٱلَّذِينَيَدْعُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِفَيَسُبُّوا۟ٱللَّهَعَدْوًۢابِغَيْرِعِلْمٍۢ ۗكَذَٰلِكَزَيَّنَّالِكُلِّأُمَّةٍعَمَلَهُمْثُمَّإِلَىٰرَبِّهِممَّرْجِعُهُمْفَيُنَبِّئُهُمبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūbimāfayunabbi-uhummarjiʿuhumrabbihimilāthummaʿamalahumummatinlikullizayyannākadhālikaʿil'minbighayriʿadwanl-lahafayasubbūl-lahidūniminyadʿūnaalladhīnatasubbūwalā
And (do) notinsultthose whomthey invokefromother thanAllahlest they insultAllah(in) enmitywithoutknowledgeThusWe have made fair-seemingto everycommunitytheir deedThentotheir Lord(is) their returnthen He will inform themabout whatthey used todo
6:108
وَأَقْسَمُوا۟بِٱللَّهِجَهْدَأَيْمَـٰنِهِمْلَئِنجَآءَتْهُمْءَايَةٌۭلَّيُؤْمِنُنَّبِهَا ۚقُلْإِنَّمَاٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُعِندَٱللَّهِ ۖوَمَايُشْعِرُكُمْأَنَّهَآإِذَاجَآءَتْلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalājāatidhāannahāyush'ʿirukumwamāl-lahiʿindal-āyātuinnamāqulbihālayu'minunnaāyatunjāathumla-inaymānihimjahdabil-lahiwa-aqsamū
And they swearby Allahstrongest(of) their oathsthat ifcame to thema signthey would surely believein itSayOnlythe signs(are) withAllahAnd whatwill make you perceivethat [it]whenit comesnotthey will believe
6:109
وَنُقَلِّبُأَفْـِٔدَتَهُمْوَأَبْصَـٰرَهُمْكَمَالَمْيُؤْمِنُوا۟بِهِۦٓأَوَّلَمَرَّةٍۢوَنَذَرُهُمْفِىطُغْيَـٰنِهِمْيَعْمَهُونَ
yaʿmahūnaṭugh'yānihimfīwanadharuhummarratinawwalabihiyu'minūlamkamāwa-abṣārahumafidatahumwanuqallibu
And We will turntheir heartsand their sights(just) asnotthey believein it(the) firsttimeAnd We will leave themintheir transgressionwandering blindly
6:110
