Basmala
۞ وَلَوْأَنَّنَانَزَّلْنَآإِلَيْهِمُٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَوَكَلَّمَهُمُٱلْمَوْتَىٰوَحَشَرْنَاعَلَيْهِمْكُلَّشَىْءٍۢقُبُلًۭامَّاكَانُوا۟لِيُؤْمِنُوٓا۟إِلَّآأَنيَشَآءَٱللَّهُوَلَـٰكِنَّأَكْثَرَهُمْيَجْهَلُونَ
yajhalūnaaktharahumwalākinnal-lahuyashāaanillāliyu'minūkānūmāqubulanshayinkullaʿalayhimwaḥasharnāl-mawtāwakallamahumul-malāikatailayhimunazzalnāannanāwalaw
And (even) if[that] We (had)[We] sent downto themthe Angelsand spoken to themthe deadand We gatheredbefore themeverythingface to facenotthey wereto believeunless[that]willsAllahButmost of them(are) ignorant
6:111
وَكَذَٰلِكَجَعَلْنَالِكُلِّنَبِىٍّعَدُوًّۭاشَيَـٰطِينَٱلْإِنسِوَٱلْجِنِّيُوحِىبَعْضُهُمْإِلَىٰبَعْضٍۢزُخْرُفَٱلْقَوْلِغُرُورًۭا ۚوَلَوْشَآءَرَبُّكَمَافَعَلُوهُ ۖفَذَرْهُمْوَمَايَفْتَرُونَ
yaftarūnawamāfadharhumfaʿalūhumārabbukashāawalawghurūranl-qawlizukh'rufabaʿḍinilābaʿḍuhumyūḥīwal-jinil-insishayāṭīnaʿaduwwannabiyyinlikullijaʿalnāwakadhālika
And thusWe madefor everyProphetan enemy devils(from) the mankindand the jinninspiringsome of themtoothers(with) decorative[the] speech(in) deceptionBut if(had) willedyour Lordnotthey (would) have done itso leave themand whatthey invent
6:112
وَلِتَصْغَىٰٓإِلَيْهِأَفْـِٔدَةُٱلَّذِينَلَايُؤْمِنُونَبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِوَلِيَرْضَوْهُوَلِيَقْتَرِفُوا۟مَاهُممُّقْتَرِفُونَ
muq'tarifūnahummāwaliyaqtarifūwaliyarḍawhubil-ākhiratiyu'minūnalāalladhīnaafidatuilayhiwalitaṣghā
And so that inclineto ithearts(of) those who(do) notbelievein the Hereafterand so that they may be pleased with itand so that they may commitwhatthey(are) committing
6:113
أَفَغَيْرَٱللَّهِأَبْتَغِىحَكَمًۭاوَهُوَٱلَّذِىٓأَنزَلَإِلَيْكُمُٱلْكِتَـٰبَمُفَصَّلًۭا ۚوَٱلَّذِينَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمُٱلْكِتَـٰبَيَعْلَمُونَأَنَّهُۥمُنَزَّلٌۭمِّنرَّبِّكَبِٱلْحَقِّ ۖفَلَاتَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ
l-mum'tarīnaminatakūnannafalābil-ḥaqirabbikaminmunazzalunannahuyaʿlamūnal-kitābaātaynāhumuwa-alladhīnamufaṣṣalanl-kitābailaykumuanzalaalladhīwahuwaḥakamanabtaghīl-lahiafaghayra
Then is (it) other thanAllahI seek(as) judgewhile He(is) the One Whohas revealedto youthe Bookexplained in detailAnd those (to) whomWe gave themthe Bookthey knowthat it(is) sent downfromyour Lordin truthso (do) notbeamongthe ones who doubt
6:114
وَتَمَّتْكَلِمَتُرَبِّكَصِدْقًۭاوَعَدْلًۭا ۚلَّامُبَدِّلَلِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦ ۚوَهُوَٱلسَّمِيعُٱلْعَلِيمُ
l-ʿalīmul-samīʿuwahuwalikalimātihimubaddilalāwaʿadlanṣid'qanrabbikakalimatuwatammat
And (has been) fulfilled(the) word(of) your Lord(in) truthand justiceNoone can changeHis wordsand He(is) the All-Hearerthe All-Knower
6:115
وَإِنتُطِعْأَكْثَرَمَنفِىٱلْأَرْضِيُضِلُّوكَعَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِ ۚإِنيَتَّبِعُونَإِلَّاٱلظَّنَّوَإِنْهُمْإِلَّايَخْرُصُونَ
yakhruṣūnaillāhumwa-inl-ẓanaillāyattabiʿūnainl-lahisabīliʿanyuḍillūkal-arḍifīmanaktharatuṭiʿwa-in
And ifyou obeymostof(those) inthe earththey will mislead youfrom(the) way(of) AllahNotthey followexcept[the] assumptionand notthey (do)exceptguess
6:116
إِنَّرَبَّكَهُوَأَعْلَمُمَنيَضِلُّعَنسَبِيلِهِۦ ۖوَهُوَأَعْلَمُبِٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
bil-muh'tadīnaaʿlamuwahuwasabīlihiʿanyaḍillumanaʿlamuhuwarabbakainna
Indeedyour LordHeknows bestwhostraysfromHis wayand He(is) most knowingof the guided-ones
6:117
فَكُلُوا۟مِمَّاذُكِرَٱسْمُٱللَّهِعَلَيْهِإِنكُنتُمبِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦمُؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīnabiāyātihikuntuminʿalayhil-lahius'mudhukiramimmāfakulū
So eatof what(is) mentioned(the) name(of) Allahon itifyou arein His Verses believers
6:118
وَمَالَكُمْأَلَّاتَأْكُلُوا۟مِمَّاذُكِرَٱسْمُٱللَّهِعَلَيْهِوَقَدْفَصَّلَلَكُممَّاحَرَّمَعَلَيْكُمْإِلَّامَاٱضْطُرِرْتُمْإِلَيْهِ ۗوَإِنَّكَثِيرًۭالَّيُضِلُّونَبِأَهْوَآئِهِمبِغَيْرِعِلْمٍ ۗإِنَّرَبَّكَهُوَأَعْلَمُبِٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
bil-muʿ'tadīnaaʿlamuhuwarabbakainnaʿil'minbighayribi-ahwāihimlayuḍillūnakathīranwa-innailayhiuḍ'ṭurir'tummāillāʿalaykumḥarramamālakumfaṣṣalawaqadʿalayhil-lahius'mudhukiramimmātakulūallālakumwamā
And whatfor youthat notyou eatof whathas been mentioned(the) name(of) Allahon itwhen indeedHe (has) explained in detailto youwhatHe (has) forbiddento youexceptwhatyou are compelledto itAnd indeedmanysurely lead astrayby their (vain) desireswithoutknowledgeIndeedyour LordHe(is) most knowingof the transgressors
6:119
وَذَرُوا۟ظَـٰهِرَٱلْإِثْمِوَبَاطِنَهُۥٓ ۚإِنَّٱلَّذِينَيَكْسِبُونَٱلْإِثْمَسَيُجْزَوْنَبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَقْتَرِفُونَ
yaqtarifūnakānūbimāsayuj'zawnal-ith'mayaksibūnaalladhīnainnawabāṭinahul-ith'miẓāhirawadharū
Forsakeopen[the] sinsand the secretIndeedthose whoearn[the] sinthey will be recompensedfor whatthey used tocommit
6:120
وَلَاتَأْكُلُوا۟مِمَّالَمْيُذْكَرِٱسْمُٱللَّهِعَلَيْهِوَإِنَّهُۥلَفِسْقٌۭ ۗوَإِنَّٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَلَيُوحُونَإِلَىٰٓأَوْلِيَآئِهِمْلِيُجَـٰدِلُوكُمْ ۖوَإِنْأَطَعْتُمُوهُمْإِنَّكُمْلَمُشْرِكُونَ
lamush'rikūnainnakumaṭaʿtumūhumwa-inliyujādilūkumawliyāihimilālayūḥūnal-shayāṭīnawa-innalafis'qunwa-innahuʿalayhil-lahius'muyudh'karilammimmātakulūwalā
And (do) noteatof thatnothas been mentioned(the) name(of) Allahon itand indeed, it (is)grave disobedienceAnd indeedthe devilsinspiretotheir friendsso that they dispute with youand ifyou obey themindeed, you(would) be the polytheists
6:121
أَوَمَنكَانَمَيْتًۭافَأَحْيَيْنَـٰهُوَجَعَلْنَالَهُۥنُورًۭايَمْشِىبِهِۦفِىٱلنَّاسِكَمَنمَّثَلُهُۥفِىٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِلَيْسَبِخَارِجٍۢمِّنْهَا ۚكَذَٰلِكَزُيِّنَلِلْكَـٰفِرِينَمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūmālil'kāfirīnazuyyinakadhālikamin'hābikhārijinlaysal-ẓulumātifīmathaluhukamanl-nāsifībihiyamshīnūranlahuwajaʿalnāfa-aḥyaynāhumaytankānaawaman
Is (one) whowasdeadand We gave him lifeand We madefor himlighthe walkswherebyamongthe peoplelike (one) who[similar to him](is) inthe darknessesnothe comes outof itThusis made fair-seemingto the disbelieverswhatthey weredoing
6:122
وَكَذَٰلِكَجَعَلْنَافِىكُلِّقَرْيَةٍأَكَـٰبِرَمُجْرِمِيهَالِيَمْكُرُوا۟فِيهَا ۖوَمَايَمْكُرُونَإِلَّابِأَنفُسِهِمْوَمَايَشْعُرُونَ
yashʿurūnawamābi-anfusihimillāyamkurūnawamāfīhāliyamkurūmuj'rimīhāakābiraqaryatinkullifījaʿalnāwakadhālika
And thusWe placedineverycitygreatest(of) its criminalsso that they plotthereinAnd notthey plotexceptagainst themselvesand notthey perceive
6:123
وَإِذَاجَآءَتْهُمْءَايَةٌۭقَالُوا۟لَننُّؤْمِنَحَتَّىٰنُؤْتَىٰمِثْلَمَآأُوتِىَرُسُلُٱللَّهِ ۘٱللَّهُأَعْلَمُحَيْثُيَجْعَلُرِسَالَتَهُۥ ۗسَيُصِيبُٱلَّذِينَأَجْرَمُوا۟صَغَارٌعِندَٱللَّهِوَعَذَابٌۭشَدِيدٌۢبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَمْكُرُونَ
yamkurūnakānūbimāshadīdunwaʿadhābunl-lahiʿindaṣaghārunajramūalladhīnasayuṣīburisālatahuyajʿaluḥaythuaʿlamul-lahul-lahirusuluūtiyamāmith'lanu'tāḥattānu'minalanqālūāyatunjāathumwa-idhā
And whencomes to thema Signthey sayNeverwe will believeuntilwe are givenlikewhatwas given(to the) Messengers(of) AllahAllahknows bestwhereHe placesHis MessageWill afflictthose whocommitted crimesa humiliationfromAllahand a punishmentseverefor whatthey used toplot
6:124
فَمَنيُرِدِٱللَّهُأَنيَهْدِيَهُۥيَشْرَحْصَدْرَهُۥلِلْإِسْلَـٰمِ ۖوَمَنيُرِدْأَنيُضِلَّهُۥيَجْعَلْصَدْرَهُۥضَيِّقًاحَرَجًۭاكَأَنَّمَايَصَّعَّدُفِىٱلسَّمَآءِ ۚكَذَٰلِكَيَجْعَلُٱللَّهُٱلرِّجْسَعَلَىٱلَّذِينَلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalāalladhīnaʿalāl-rij'sal-lahuyajʿalukadhālikal-samāifīyaṣṣaʿʿaduka-annamāḥarajanḍayyiqanṣadrahuyajʿalyuḍillahuanyuridwamanlil'is'lāmiṣadrahuyashraḥyahdiyahuanl-lahuyuridifaman
So whoeverwantsAllahthatHe guides him He expandshis breastto Islamand whoeverHe wantsthatHe lets him go astrayHe makeshis breasttightand constrictedas thoughhe (were) climbingintothe skyThusplacesAllahthe filthonthose who(do) notbelieve
6:125
وَهَـٰذَاصِرَٰطُرَبِّكَمُسْتَقِيمًۭا ۗقَدْفَصَّلْنَاٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلِقَوْمٍۢيَذَّكَّرُونَ
yadhakkarūnaliqawminl-āyātifaṣṣalnāqadmus'taqīmanrabbikaṣirāṭuwahādhā
And this(is the) way(of) your Lord straightCertainlyWe have detailedthe Versesfor a peoplewho take heed
6:126
۞ لَهُمْدَارُٱلسَّلَـٰمِعِندَرَبِّهِمْ ۖوَهُوَوَلِيُّهُمبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnakānūbimāwaliyyuhumwahuwarabbihimʿindal-salāmidārulahum
For them(will be) home(of) [the] peacewiththeir LordAnd He(will be) their protecting friendbecause(of what) they used todo
6:127
وَيَوْمَيَحْشُرُهُمْجَمِيعًۭايَـٰمَعْشَرَٱلْجِنِّقَدِٱسْتَكْثَرْتُممِّنَٱلْإِنسِ ۖوَقَالَأَوْلِيَآؤُهُممِّنَٱلْإِنسِرَبَّنَاٱسْتَمْتَعَبَعْضُنَابِبَعْضٍۢوَبَلَغْنَآأَجَلَنَاٱلَّذِىٓأَجَّلْتَلَنَا ۚقَالَٱلنَّارُمَثْوَىٰكُمْخَـٰلِدِينَفِيهَآإِلَّامَاشَآءَٱللَّهُ ۗإِنَّرَبَّكَحَكِيمٌعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunḥakīmunrabbakainnal-lahushāamāillāfīhākhālidīnamathwākuml-nāruqālalanāajjaltaalladhīajalanāwabalaghnābibaʿḍinbaʿḍunāis'tamtaʿarabbanāl-insiminaawliyāuhumwaqālal-insiminais'takthartumqadil-jiniyāmaʿsharajamīʿanyaḥshuruhumwayawma
And (the) DayHe will gather themall(and will say), "O assembly(of) [the] jinnCertainlyyou have (misled) manyofthe mankindAnd will saytheir friendsamongthe menOur Lordprofitedsome of usby othersand we have reachedour termwhichYou appointedfor usHe will sayThe Fire(is) your abodewill abide foreverin itexcept(for) whatwillsAllahIndeedyour Lord(is) All-WiseAll-Knowing
6:128
وَكَذَٰلِكَنُوَلِّىبَعْضَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَبَعْضًۢابِمَاكَانُوا۟يَكْسِبُونَ
yaksibūnakānūbimābaʿḍanl-ẓālimīnabaʿḍanuwallīwakadhālika
And thusWe make friendssome (of)the wrongdoers(to) othersfor whatthey used toearn
6:129
يَـٰمَعْشَرَٱلْجِنِّوَٱلْإِنسِأَلَمْيَأْتِكُمْرُسُلٌۭمِّنكُمْيَقُصُّونَعَلَيْكُمْءَايَـٰتِىوَيُنذِرُونَكُمْلِقَآءَيَوْمِكُمْهَـٰذَا ۚقَالُوا۟شَهِدْنَاعَلَىٰٓأَنفُسِنَا ۖوَغَرَّتْهُمُٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَاوَشَهِدُوا۟عَلَىٰٓأَنفُسِهِمْأَنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟كَـٰفِرِينَ
kāfirīnakānūannahumanfusihimʿalāwashahidūl-dun'yāl-ḥayatuwagharrathumuanfusināʿalāshahid'nāqālūhādhāyawmikumliqāawayundhirūnakumāyātīʿalaykumyaquṣṣūnaminkumrusulunyatikumalamwal-insil-jiniyāmaʿshara
O assembly(of) [the] jinnand [the] menDid (there) notcome to youMessengersfrom (among) yourelatingto youMy Versesand warning you(of the) meeting(of) your daythisThey will sayWe bear witnessagainstourselvesAnd deluded themthe life(of) the worldand they will bear witnessagainstthemselvesthat theyweredisbelievers
6:130
ذَٰلِكَأَنلَّمْيَكُنرَّبُّكَمُهْلِكَٱلْقُرَىٰبِظُلْمٍۢوَأَهْلُهَاغَـٰفِلُونَ
ghāfilūnawa-ahluhābiẓul'minl-qurāmuh'likarabbukayakunlamandhālika
That (is because)[that]notisyour Lordone who destroysthe citiesfor (their) wrongdoingwhile their people(are) unaware
6:131
وَلِكُلٍّۢدَرَجَـٰتٌۭمِّمَّاعَمِلُوا۟ ۚوَمَارَبُّكَبِغَـٰفِلٍعَمَّايَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūnaʿammābighāfilinrabbukawamāʿamilūmimmādarajātunwalikullin
And for all(will be) degreesfor whatthey didAnd not(is) your Lordunawareabout whatthey do
6:132
وَرَبُّكَٱلْغَنِىُّذُوٱلرَّحْمَةِ ۚإِنيَشَأْيُذْهِبْكُمْوَيَسْتَخْلِفْمِنۢبَعْدِكُممَّايَشَآءُكَمَآأَنشَأَكُممِّنذُرِّيَّةِقَوْمٍءَاخَرِينَ
ākharīnaqawmindhurriyyatiminansha-akumkamāyashāumābaʿdikumminwayastakhlifyudh'hib'kumyashainl-raḥmatidhūl-ghaniyuwarabbuka
And your Lord(is) the Self-Sufficient(the) Possessor(of) mercyIfHe willsHe can take you awayand grant successionfromafter you(to) whomHe willsasHe raised youfromthe descendants(of) peopleother
6:133
إِنَّمَاتُوعَدُونَلَـَٔاتٍۢ ۖوَمَآأَنتُمبِمُعْجِزِينَ
bimuʿ'jizīnaantumwamālaātintūʿadūnamāinna
Indeedwhatyou are promised(is) sure to comeAnd not(can) youescape (it)
6:134
قُلْيَـٰقَوْمِٱعْمَلُوا۟عَلَىٰمَكَانَتِكُمْإِنِّىعَامِلٌۭ ۖفَسَوْفَتَعْلَمُونَمَنتَكُونُلَهُۥعَـٰقِبَةُٱلدَّارِ ۗإِنَّهُۥلَايُفْلِحُٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
l-ẓālimūnayuf'liḥulāinnahul-dāriʿāqibatulahutakūnumantaʿlamūnafasawfaʿāmiluninnīmakānatikumʿalāiʿ'malūyāqawmiqul
SayO my peopleWorkonyour positionIndeed, I ama workerAnd soonyou will knowwhowill havefor himself(in) the end(a good) homeIndeed [he](will) notsucceedthe wrongdoers
6:135
وَجَعَلُوا۟لِلَّهِمِمَّاذَرَأَمِنَٱلْحَرْثِوَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِنَصِيبًۭافَقَالُوا۟هَـٰذَالِلَّهِبِزَعْمِهِمْوَهَـٰذَالِشُرَكَآئِنَا ۖفَمَاكَانَلِشُرَكَآئِهِمْفَلَايَصِلُإِلَىٱللَّهِ ۖوَمَاكَانَلِلَّهِفَهُوَيَصِلُإِلَىٰشُرَكَآئِهِمْ ۗسَآءَمَايَحْكُمُونَ
yaḥkumūnamāsāashurakāihimilāyaṣilufahuwalillahikānawamāl-lahiilāyaṣilufalālishurakāihimkānafamālishurakāināwahādhābizaʿmihimlillahihādhāfaqālūnaṣībanwal-anʿāmil-ḥarthiminadhara-amimmālillahiwajaʿalū
And they assignto Allahout of whatHe producedofthe cropsand the cattlea shareand they sayThis(is) for Allahby their claimAnd this(is) for our partnersBut whatisfor their partners(does) notreach[to]Allahwhile whatisfor Allahthen itreaches[to]their partnersEvil(is) whatthey judge
6:136
وَكَذَٰلِكَزَيَّنَلِكَثِيرٍۢمِّنَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَقَتْلَأَوْلَـٰدِهِمْشُرَكَآؤُهُمْلِيُرْدُوهُمْوَلِيَلْبِسُوا۟عَلَيْهِمْدِينَهُمْ ۖوَلَوْشَآءَٱللَّهُمَافَعَلُوهُ ۖفَذَرْهُمْوَمَايَفْتَرُونَ
yaftarūnawamāfadharhumfaʿalūhumāl-lahushāawalawdīnahumʿalayhimwaliyalbisūliyur'dūhumshurakāuhumawlādihimqatlal-mush'rikīnaminalikathīrinzayyanawakadhālika
And likewisemade pleasingto manyofthe polytheists (the) killing(of) their children their partners so that they may ruin themand that they make confusingto themtheir religionAnd if(had) willedAllahnot(would) they have done soSo leave themand whatthey invent
6:137
وَقَالُوا۟هَـٰذِهِۦٓأَنْعَـٰمٌۭوَحَرْثٌحِجْرٌۭلَّايَطْعَمُهَآإِلَّامَننَّشَآءُبِزَعْمِهِمْوَأَنْعَـٰمٌحُرِّمَتْظُهُورُهَاوَأَنْعَـٰمٌۭلَّايَذْكُرُونَٱسْمَٱللَّهِعَلَيْهَاٱفْتِرَآءًعَلَيْهِ ۚسَيَجْزِيهِمبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَفْتَرُونَ
yaftarūnakānūbimāsayajzīhimʿalayhiif'tirāanʿalayhāl-lahiis'mayadhkurūnalāwa-anʿāmunẓuhūruhāḥurrimatwa-anʿāmunbizaʿmihimnashāumanillāyaṭʿamuhālāḥij'runwaḥarthunanʿāmunhādhihiwaqālū
And they sayThese(are) cattleand cropsforbiddenno (one)can eat themexceptwhomwe willby their claimAnd cattleforbidden(are) their backsand cattlenotthey mention(the) name(of) Allahon it(as) an inventionagainst HimHe will recompense themfor whatthey used toinvent
6:138
وَقَالُوا۟مَافِىبُطُونِهَـٰذِهِٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِخَالِصَةٌۭلِّذُكُورِنَاوَمُحَرَّمٌعَلَىٰٓأَزْوَٰجِنَا ۖوَإِنيَكُنمَّيْتَةًۭفَهُمْفِيهِشُرَكَآءُ ۚسَيَجْزِيهِمْوَصْفَهُمْ ۚإِنَّهُۥحَكِيمٌعَلِيمٌۭ
ʿalīmunḥakīmuninnahuwaṣfahumsayajzīhimshurakāufīhifahummaytatanyakunwa-inazwājināʿalāwamuḥarramunlidhukūrinākhāliṣatunl-anʿāmihādhihibuṭūnifīmāwaqālū
And they sayWhat(is) in(the) wombs(of) thesecattle(is) exclusivelyfor our malesand forbiddenonour spousesBut ifis(born) deadthen they (all)in it(are) partnersHe will recompense them(for) their attributionIndeed, He(is) All-WiseAll-Knowing
6:139
قَدْخَسِرَٱلَّذِينَقَتَلُوٓا۟أَوْلَـٰدَهُمْسَفَهًۢابِغَيْرِعِلْمٍۢوَحَرَّمُوا۟مَارَزَقَهُمُٱللَّهُٱفْتِرَآءًعَلَىٱللَّهِ ۚقَدْضَلُّوا۟وَمَاكَانُوا۟مُهْتَدِينَ
muh'tadīnakānūwamāḍallūqadl-lahiʿalāif'tirāanl-lahurazaqahumumāwaḥarramūʿil'minbighayrisafahanawlādahumqatalūalladhīnakhasiraqad
Certainly(are) lostthose whokilledtheir children(in) foolishnesswithoutknowledgeand forbidwhat(bas been) provided (to) them(by) Allah inventing (lies)againstAllahCertainlythey have gone astrayand notthey areguided-ones
6:140
۞ وَهُوَٱلَّذِىٓأَنشَأَجَنَّـٰتٍۢمَّعْرُوشَـٰتٍۢوَغَيْرَمَعْرُوشَـٰتٍۢوَٱلنَّخْلَوَٱلزَّرْعَمُخْتَلِفًاأُكُلُهُۥوَٱلزَّيْتُونَوَٱلرُّمَّانَمُتَشَـٰبِهًۭاوَغَيْرَمُتَشَـٰبِهٍۢ ۚكُلُوا۟مِنثَمَرِهِۦٓإِذَآأَثْمَرَوَءَاتُوا۟حَقَّهُۥيَوْمَحَصَادِهِۦ ۖوَلَاتُسْرِفُوٓا۟ ۚإِنَّهُۥلَايُحِبُّٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
l-mus'rifīnayuḥibbulāinnahutus'rifūwalāḥaṣādihiyawmaḥaqqahuwaātūathmaraidhāthamarihiminkulūmutashābihinwaghayramutashābihanwal-rumānawal-zaytūnaukuluhumukh'talifanwal-zarʿawal-nakhlamaʿrūshātinwaghayramaʿrūshātinjannātinansha-aalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whoproducedgardenstrellisedand other thantrellisedand the date-palmand the cropsdiverse(are) its tasteand the olivesand the pomegranatessimilarand other thansimilarEatofits fruitwhenit bears fruitand giveits due(on the) day(of) its harvestAnd (do) not(be) extravagantIndeed, He(does) notlovethe ones who are extravagant
6:141
وَمِنَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِحَمُولَةًۭوَفَرْشًۭا ۚكُلُوا۟مِمَّارَزَقَكُمُٱللَّهُوَلَاتَتَّبِعُوا۟خُطُوَٰتِٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ۚإِنَّهُۥلَكُمْعَدُوٌّۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunʿaduwwunlakuminnahul-shayṭānikhuṭuwātitattabiʿūwalāl-lahurazaqakumumimmākulūwafarshanḥamūlatanl-anʿāmiwamina
And ofthe cattle(are some for) burdenand (some for) meatEatof what(has been) provided (to) you(by) Allahand (do) notfollow(the) footsteps(of) ShaitaanIndeed, he(is) to youan enemyopen
6:142
ثَمَـٰنِيَةَأَزْوَٰجٍۢ ۖمِّنَٱلضَّأْنِٱثْنَيْنِوَمِنَٱلْمَعْزِٱثْنَيْنِ ۗقُلْءَآلذَّكَرَيْنِحَرَّمَأَمِٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِأَمَّاٱشْتَمَلَتْعَلَيْهِأَرْحَامُٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ ۖنَبِّـُٔونِىبِعِلْمٍإِنكُنتُمْصَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīnakuntuminbiʿil'minnabbiūnīl-unthayayniarḥāmuʿalayhiish'tamalatammāl-unthayayniamiḥarramaāldhakarayniqulith'naynil-maʿziwaminaith'naynil-ḍaniminaazwājinthamāniyata
Eightpairs ofthe sheeptwoand ofthe goatstwoSay(Are) the two malesHe has forbiddenorthe two femalesor whatcontains[in it](the) wombs(of) the two femalesInform mewith knowledgeifyou aretruthful
6:143
وَمِنَٱلْإِبِلِٱثْنَيْنِوَمِنَٱلْبَقَرِٱثْنَيْنِ ۗقُلْءَآلذَّكَرَيْنِحَرَّمَأَمِٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِأَمَّاٱشْتَمَلَتْعَلَيْهِأَرْحَامُٱلْأُنثَيَيْنِ ۖأَمْكُنتُمْشُهَدَآءَإِذْوَصَّىٰكُمُٱللَّهُبِهَـٰذَا ۚفَمَنْأَظْلَمُمِمَّنِٱفْتَرَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِكَذِبًۭالِّيُضِلَّٱلنَّاسَبِغَيْرِعِلْمٍ ۗإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايَهْدِىٱلْقَوْمَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnal-qawmayahdīlāl-lahainnaʿil'minbighayril-nāsaliyuḍillakadhibanl-lahiʿalāif'tarāmimmaniaẓlamufamanbihādhāl-lahuwaṣṣākumuidhshuhadāakuntumaml-unthayayniarḥāmuʿalayhiish'tamalatammāl-unthayayniamiḥarramaāldhakarayniqulith'naynil-baqariwaminaith'naynil-ibiliwamina
And ofthe camelstwoand ofthe cowstwoSay(Is it) the two malesHe (has) forbiddenorthe two femalesor whatcontains[in it](the) wombs(of) the two femalesOrwere youwitnesseswhenenjoined youAllahwith thisThen who(is) more unjustthan (one) whoinventsagainstAllaha lieto misleadthe peoplewithoutknowledgeIndeedAllah(does) notguidethe peoplethe wrongdoing
6:144
قُللَّآأَجِدُفِىمَآأُوحِىَإِلَىَّمُحَرَّمًاعَلَىٰطَاعِمٍۢيَطْعَمُهُۥٓإِلَّآأَنيَكُونَمَيْتَةًأَوْدَمًۭامَّسْفُوحًاأَوْلَحْمَخِنزِيرٍۢفَإِنَّهُۥرِجْسٌأَوْفِسْقًاأُهِلَّلِغَيْرِٱللَّهِبِهِۦ ۚفَمَنِٱضْطُرَّغَيْرَبَاغٍۢوَلَاعَادٍۢفَإِنَّرَبَّكَغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmunghafūrunrabbakafa-innaʿādinwalābāghinghayrauḍ'ṭurrafamanibihil-lahilighayriuhillafis'qanawrij'sunfa-innahukhinzīrinlaḥmaawmasfūḥandamanawmaytatanyakūnaanillāyaṭʿamuhuṭāʿiminʿalāmuḥarramanilayyaūḥiyamāfīajidulāqul
SayNot(do) I findinwhathas been revealedto me(anything) forbiddentoan eaterwho eats itexceptthatit bedeadorbloodpoured forthor(the) flesh(of) swine for indeed, it(is) filth or(it be) disobedience[is] dedicatedto other thanAllah[on it]But whoever(is) compellednotdesiringand nottransgressingthen indeedyour Lord(is) Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful
6:145
وَعَلَىٱلَّذِينَهَادُوا۟حَرَّمْنَاكُلَّذِىظُفُرٍۢ ۖوَمِنَٱلْبَقَرِوَٱلْغَنَمِحَرَّمْنَاعَلَيْهِمْشُحُومَهُمَآإِلَّامَاحَمَلَتْظُهُورُهُمَآأَوِٱلْحَوَايَآأَوْمَاٱخْتَلَطَبِعَظْمٍۢ ۚذَٰلِكَجَزَيْنَـٰهُمبِبَغْيِهِمْ ۖوَإِنَّالَصَـٰدِقُونَ
laṣādiqūnawa-innābibaghyihimjazaynāhumdhālikabiʿaẓminikh'talaṭamāawl-ḥawāyāawiẓuhūruhumāḥamalatmāillāshuḥūmahumāʿalayhimḥarramnāwal-ghanamil-baqariwaminaẓufurindhīkullaḥarramnāhādūalladhīnawaʿalā
And tothose whoare JewsWe forbadeevery(animal) withclawsand ofthe cowsand the sheepWe forbadeto themtheir fatexceptwhatcarriedtheir backsorthe entrailsorwhat(is) joinedwith the boneThat(is) their recompensefor their rebellionAnd indeed, We[surely] are truthful
6:146
فَإِنكَذَّبُوكَفَقُلرَّبُّكُمْذُورَحْمَةٍۢوَٰسِعَةٍۢوَلَايُرَدُّبَأْسُهُۥعَنِٱلْقَوْمِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
l-muj'rimīnal-qawmiʿanibasuhuyuradduwalāwāsiʿatinraḥmatindhūrabbukumfaqulkadhabūkafa-in
But ifthey deny youthen sayYour Lord(is the) Possessor(of) MercyVastbut notwill be turned backHis wrathfromthe people(who are) criminals
6:147
سَيَقُولُٱلَّذِينَأَشْرَكُوا۟لَوْشَآءَٱللَّهُمَآأَشْرَكْنَاوَلَآءَابَآؤُنَاوَلَاحَرَّمْنَامِنشَىْءٍۢ ۚكَذَٰلِكَكَذَّبَٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْحَتَّىٰذَاقُوا۟بَأْسَنَا ۗقُلْهَلْعِندَكُممِّنْعِلْمٍۢفَتُخْرِجُوهُلَنَآ ۖإِنتَتَّبِعُونَإِلَّاٱلظَّنَّوَإِنْأَنتُمْإِلَّاتَخْرُصُونَ
takhruṣūnaillāantumwa-inl-ẓanaillātattabiʿūnainlanāfatukh'rijūhuʿil'minminʿindakumhalqulbasanādhāqūḥattāqablihimminalladhīnakadhabakadhālikashayinminḥarramnāwalāābāunāwalāashraknāmāl-lahushāalawashrakūalladhīnasayaqūlu
Will saythose whoassociate partners (with Allah)IfHad willedAllahnotwe (would) have associated partners (with Allah)and notour forefathersand notwe (would) have forbidden[of]anythingLikewisedeniedthose who(were from)before themuntilthey tastedOur wrathSayIswith you[of]any knowledgethen produce itfor usNotyou followexceptthe assumptionand notyou (do)butguess
6:148
قُلْفَلِلَّهِٱلْحُجَّةُٱلْبَـٰلِغَةُ ۖفَلَوْشَآءَلَهَدَىٰكُمْأَجْمَعِينَ
ajmaʿīnalahadākumshāafalawl-bālighatul-ḥujatufalillahiqul
SayWith Allah(is) the argument the conclusiveAnd ifHe (had) willedsurely He (would) have guided youall
6:149
قُلْهَلُمَّشُهَدَآءَكُمُٱلَّذِينَيَشْهَدُونَأَنَّٱللَّهَحَرَّمَهَـٰذَا ۖفَإِنشَهِدُوا۟فَلَاتَشْهَدْمَعَهُمْ ۚوَلَاتَتَّبِعْأَهْوَآءَٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاوَٱلَّذِينَلَايُؤْمِنُونَبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِوَهُمبِرَبِّهِمْيَعْدِلُونَ
yaʿdilūnabirabbihimwahumbil-ākhiratiyu'minūnalāwa-alladhīnabiāyātinākadhabūalladhīnaahwāatattabiʿwalāmaʿahumtashhadfalāshahidūfa-inhādhāḥarramal-lahaannayashhadūnaalladhīnashuhadāakumuhalummaqul
SayBring forwardyour witnessesthose whotestifythatAllahprohibitedthisThen ifthey testifythen (do) nottestifywith themAnd (do) notfollow(the) desires(of) those whodeniedOur Signsand those who(do) notbelievein the Hereafterwhile theywith their Lordset up equals
6:150
۞ قُلْتَعَالَوْا۟أَتْلُمَاحَرَّمَرَبُّكُمْعَلَيْكُمْ ۖأَلَّاتُشْرِكُوا۟بِهِۦشَيْـًۭٔا ۖوَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِإِحْسَـٰنًۭا ۖوَلَاتَقْتُلُوٓا۟أَوْلَـٰدَكُممِّنْإِمْلَـٰقٍۢ ۖنَّحْنُنَرْزُقُكُمْوَإِيَّاهُمْ ۖوَلَاتَقْرَبُوا۟ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَمَاظَهَرَمِنْهَاوَمَابَطَنَ ۖوَلَاتَقْتُلُوا۟ٱلنَّفْسَٱلَّتِىحَرَّمَٱللَّهُإِلَّابِٱلْحَقِّ ۚذَٰلِكُمْوَصَّىٰكُمبِهِۦلَعَلَّكُمْتَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūnalaʿallakumbihiwaṣṣākumdhālikumbil-ḥaqiillāl-lahuḥarramaallatīl-nafsataqtulūwalābaṭanawamāmin'hāẓaharamāl-fawāḥishataqrabūwalāwa-iyyāhumnarzuqukumnaḥnuim'lāqinminawlādakumtaqtulūwalāiḥ'sānanwabil-wālidaynishayanbihitush'rikūallāʿalaykumrabbukumḥarramamāatlutaʿālawqul
SayComeI will recitewhathas prohibitedyour Lordto youThat (do) notassociatewith Himanythingand with the parents(be) goodand (do) notkillyour children(out) ofpovertyWeprovide for youand for themAnd (do) notgo near[the] immoralitieswhat(is) apparentof themand what(is) concealedAnd (do) notkillthe soulwhichhas (been) forbidden(by) Allahexceptby (legal) rightThat(He) has enjoined on youwith itso that you mayuse reason
6:151
وَلَاتَقْرَبُوا۟مَالَٱلْيَتِيمِإِلَّابِٱلَّتِىهِىَأَحْسَنُحَتَّىٰيَبْلُغَأَشُدَّهُۥ ۖوَأَوْفُوا۟ٱلْكَيْلَوَٱلْمِيزَانَبِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖلَانُكَلِّفُنَفْسًاإِلَّاوُسْعَهَا ۖوَإِذَاقُلْتُمْفَٱعْدِلُوا۟وَلَوْكَانَذَاقُرْبَىٰ ۖوَبِعَهْدِٱللَّهِأَوْفُوا۟ ۚذَٰلِكُمْوَصَّىٰكُمبِهِۦلَعَلَّكُمْتَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkarūnalaʿallakumbihiwaṣṣākumdhālikumawfūl-lahiwabiʿahdiqur'bādhākānawalawfa-iʿ'dilūqul'tumwa-idhāwus'ʿahāillānafsannukallifulābil-qis'ṭiwal-mīzānal-kaylawa-awfūashuddahuyablughaḥattāaḥsanuhiyabi-allatīillāl-yatīmimālataqrabūwalā
And (do) notgo nearwealth(of) the orphansexceptwith thatwhich(is) bestuntilhe reacheshis maturityAnd give full[the] measureand the weightwith justiceNotWe burdenany soulexcept(to) its capacityAnd whenyou speakthen be justeven ifhe is(one of)a near relativeAnd (the) Covenant(of) AllahfulfilThat(He) has enjoined on youwith itso that you mayremember
6:152
وَأَنَّهَـٰذَاصِرَٰطِىمُسْتَقِيمًۭافَٱتَّبِعُوهُ ۖوَلَاتَتَّبِعُوا۟ٱلسُّبُلَفَتَفَرَّقَبِكُمْعَنسَبِيلِهِۦ ۚذَٰلِكُمْوَصَّىٰكُمبِهِۦلَعَلَّكُمْتَتَّقُونَ
tattaqūnalaʿallakumbihiwaṣṣākumdhālikumsabīlihiʿanbikumfatafarraqal-subulatattabiʿūwalāfa-ittabiʿūhumus'taqīmanṣirāṭīhādhāwa-anna
And thatthis(is) My pathstraightso follow itAnd (do) notfollowthe (other) pathsthen they will separateyoufromHis pathThat(He) has enjoined on you[with it]so that you maybecome righteous
6:153
ثُمَّءَاتَيْنَامُوسَىٱلْكِتَـٰبَتَمَامًاعَلَىٱلَّذِىٓأَحْسَنَوَتَفْصِيلًۭالِّكُلِّشَىْءٍۢوَهُدًۭىوَرَحْمَةًۭلَّعَلَّهُمبِلِقَآءِرَبِّهِمْيُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnarabbihimbiliqāilaʿallahumwaraḥmatanwahudanshayinlikulliwatafṣīlanaḥsanaalladhīʿalātamāmanl-kitābamūsāātaynāthumma
MoreoverWe gaveMusathe Bookcompleting (Our Favor)onthe one whodid goodand an explanationof everythingand a guidanceand mercyso that they mayin (the) meeting(with) their Lordbelieve
6:154
وَهَـٰذَاكِتَـٰبٌأَنزَلْنَـٰهُمُبَارَكٌۭفَٱتَّبِعُوهُوَٱتَّقُوا۟لَعَلَّكُمْتُرْحَمُونَ
tur'ḥamūnalaʿallakumwa-ittaqūfa-ittabiʿūhumubārakunanzalnāhukitābunwahādhā
And this(is) a BookWe have revealed it blessedso follow itand fear (Allah)so that you mayreceive mercy
6:155
أَنتَقُولُوٓا۟إِنَّمَآأُنزِلَٱلْكِتَـٰبُعَلَىٰطَآئِفَتَيْنِمِنقَبْلِنَاوَإِنكُنَّاعَندِرَاسَتِهِمْلَغَـٰفِلِينَ
laghāfilīnadirāsatihimʿankunnāwa-inqablināminṭāifatayniʿalāl-kitābuunzilainnamātaqūlūan
Lestyou sayOnlywas revealedthe Bookonthe two groupsfrombefore usand indeedwe wereabouttheir studycertainly unaware
6:156
أَوْتَقُولُوا۟لَوْأَنَّآأُنزِلَعَلَيْنَاٱلْكِتَـٰبُلَكُنَّآأَهْدَىٰمِنْهُمْ ۚفَقَدْجَآءَكُمبَيِّنَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّكُمْوَهُدًۭىوَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۚفَمَنْأَظْلَمُمِمَّنكَذَّبَبِـَٔايَـٰتِٱللَّهِوَصَدَفَعَنْهَا ۗسَنَجْزِىٱلَّذِينَيَصْدِفُونَعَنْءَايَـٰتِنَاسُوٓءَٱلْعَذَابِبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَصْدِفُونَ
yaṣdifūnakānūbimāl-ʿadhābisūaāyātināʿanyaṣdifūnaalladhīnasanajzīʿanhāwaṣadafal-lahibiāyātikadhabamimmanaẓlamufamanwaraḥmatunwahudanrabbikumminbayyinatunjāakumfaqadmin'humahdālakunnāl-kitābuʿalaynāunzilaannālawtaqūlūaw
Oryou sayIf[that]was revealedto usthe Booksurely we (would) have beenbetter guidedthan themSo verilyhas come to youclear proofsfromyour Lordand a Guidanceand a MercyThen who(is) more unjustthan (he) whodenies[with] (the) Verses(of) Allahand turns awayfrom themWe will recompensethose whoturn awayfromOur Signs(with) an evilpunishmentbecausethey used toturn away
6:157
هَلْيَنظُرُونَإِلَّآأَنتَأْتِيَهُمُٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُأَوْيَأْتِىَرَبُّكَأَوْيَأْتِىَبَعْضُءَايَـٰتِرَبِّكَ ۗيَوْمَيَأْتِىبَعْضُءَايَـٰتِرَبِّكَلَايَنفَعُنَفْسًاإِيمَـٰنُهَالَمْتَكُنْءَامَنَتْمِنقَبْلُأَوْكَسَبَتْفِىٓإِيمَـٰنِهَاخَيْرًۭا ۗقُلِٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟إِنَّامُنتَظِرُونَ
muntaẓirūnainnāintaẓirūqulikhayranīmānihāfīkasabatawqablumināmanattakunlamīmānuhānafsanyanfaʿulārabbikaāyātibaʿḍuyatīyawmarabbikaāyātibaʿḍuyatiyaawrabbukayatiyaawl-malāikatutatiyahumuanillāyanẓurūnahal
Arethey waitingexceptthatcomes to themthe Angelsorcomesyour Lordorcomessome (of)(the) Signs(of) your Lord(The) Day(when) comessome (of)(the) Signs(of) your Lordnotwill benefita soulits faithnot(if) it hadbelievedfrombeforeorearnedthroughits faithany goodSayWaitIndeed, we(are) those who wait
6:158
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَفَرَّقُوا۟دِينَهُمْوَكَانُوا۟شِيَعًۭالَّسْتَمِنْهُمْفِىشَىْءٍ ۚإِنَّمَآأَمْرُهُمْإِلَىٱللَّهِثُمَّيُنَبِّئُهُمبِمَاكَانُوا۟يَفْعَلُونَ
yafʿalūnakānūbimāyunabbi-uhumthummal-lahiilāamruhuminnamāshayinfīmin'humlastashiyaʿanwakānūdīnahumfarraqūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whodividetheir religionand becomesectsyou are notwith theminanythingOnlytheir affair(is) withAllahthenHe will inform themof whatthey used todo
6:159
مَنجَآءَبِٱلْحَسَنَةِفَلَهُۥعَشْرُأَمْثَالِهَا ۖوَمَنجَآءَبِٱلسَّيِّئَةِفَلَايُجْزَىٰٓإِلَّامِثْلَهَاوَهُمْلَايُظْلَمُونَ
yuẓ'lamūnalāwahummith'lahāillāyuj'zāfalābil-sayi-atijāawamanamthālihāʿashrufalahubil-ḥasanatijāaman
Whoevercamewith a good deedthen for him(is) ten (times)the like of itAnd whoevercamewith an evil deedthen nothe will be recompensedexceptthe like of itand theywill not(be) wronged
6:160
قُلْإِنَّنِىهَدَىٰنِىرَبِّىٓإِلَىٰصِرَٰطٍۢمُّسْتَقِيمٍۢدِينًۭاقِيَمًۭامِّلَّةَإِبْرَٰهِيمَحَنِيفًۭا ۚوَمَاكَانَمِنَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
l-mush'rikīnaminakānawamāḥanīfanib'rāhīmamillataqiyamandīnanmus'taqīminṣirāṭinilārabbīhadānīinnanīqul
SayIndeed (as for) mehas guided memy Lordtoa pathstraight a religionrightreligion(of) Ibrahim a true monotheistAnd nothe wasfromthe polytheists
6:161
قُلْإِنَّصَلَاتِىوَنُسُكِىوَمَحْيَاىَوَمَمَاتِىلِلَّهِرَبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbilillahiwamamātīwamaḥyāyawanusukīṣalātīinnaqul
SayIndeedmy prayerand my rites of sacrificeand my livingand my dying(are) for AllahLord(of) the worlds
6:162
لَاشَرِيكَلَهُۥ ۖوَبِذَٰلِكَأُمِرْتُوَأَنَا۠أَوَّلُٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ
l-mus'limīnaawwaluwa-anāumir'tuwabidhālikalahusharīkalā
Nopartnersfor Himand with thatI have been commandedAnd I am(the) first(of) the ones who surrender (to Him)
6:163
قُلْأَغَيْرَٱللَّهِأَبْغِىرَبًّۭاوَهُوَرَبُّكُلِّشَىْءٍۢ ۚوَلَاتَكْسِبُكُلُّنَفْسٍإِلَّاعَلَيْهَا ۚوَلَاتَزِرُوَازِرَةٌۭوِزْرَأُخْرَىٰ ۚثُمَّإِلَىٰرَبِّكُممَّرْجِعُكُمْفَيُنَبِّئُكُمبِمَاكُنتُمْفِيهِتَخْتَلِفُونَ
takhtalifūnafīhikuntumbimāfayunabbi-ukummarjiʿukumrabbikumilāthummaukh'rāwiz'rawāziratuntaziruwalāʿalayhāillānafsinkullutaksibuwalāshayinkullirabbuwahuwarabbanabghīl-lahiaghayraqul
SayIs (it) other thanAllahI (should) seek(as) a Lordwhile He(is) the Lord(of) everythingAnd notearnseverysoulexceptagainst itselfand notbearsany bearer of burdenburden(of) anotherThentoyour Lord(is) your returnthen He will inform youabout whatyou wereconcerning itdiffering
6:164
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىجَعَلَكُمْخَلَـٰٓئِفَٱلْأَرْضِوَرَفَعَبَعْضَكُمْفَوْقَبَعْضٍۢدَرَجَـٰتٍۢلِّيَبْلُوَكُمْفِىمَآءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۗإِنَّرَبَّكَسَرِيعُٱلْعِقَابِوَإِنَّهُۥلَغَفُورٌۭرَّحِيمٌۢ
raḥīmunlaghafūrunwa-innahul-ʿiqābisarīʿurabbakainnaātākummāfīliyabluwakumdarajātinbaʿḍinfawqabaʿḍakumwarafaʿal-arḍikhalāifajaʿalakumalladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Who(has) made yousuccessors(of) the earthand raisedsome of youaboveothers(in) ranksso that He may test youinwhatHe has given youIndeedyour Lord(is) swift(in) the punishmentand indeed, He (is)[certainly], Oft-ForgivingMost Merciful

الٓمٓصٓ

Alif Laam Meem Saad
7:1
كِتَـٰبٌأُنزِلَإِلَيْكَفَلَايَكُنفِىصَدْرِكَحَرَجٌۭمِّنْهُلِتُنذِرَبِهِۦوَذِكْرَىٰلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
lil'mu'minīnawadhik'rābihilitundhiramin'huḥarajunṣadrikafīyakunfalāilaykaunzilakitābun
(This is) a Bookrevealedto youso (let) notbeinyour breastany uneasinessfrom itthat you warnwith itand a reminderfor the believers
7:2
ٱتَّبِعُوا۟مَآأُنزِلَإِلَيْكُممِّنرَّبِّكُمْوَلَاتَتَّبِعُوا۟مِندُونِهِۦٓأَوْلِيَآءَ ۗقَلِيلًۭامَّاتَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkarūnamāqalīlanawliyāadūnihimintattabiʿūwalārabbikumminilaykumunzilamāittabiʿū
Followwhathas been revealedto youfromyour Lordand (do) notfollowfrombeside Himany alliesLittle(is) whatyou remember
7:3
وَكَممِّنقَرْيَةٍأَهْلَكْنَـٰهَافَجَآءَهَابَأْسُنَابَيَـٰتًاأَوْهُمْقَآئِلُونَ
qāilūnahumawbayātanbasunāfajāahāahlaknāhāqaryatinminwakam
And how manyofa cityWe destroyed itand came to itOur punishment(at) nightor(while) theywere sleeping at noon
7:4
فَمَاكَانَدَعْوَىٰهُمْإِذْجَآءَهُمبَأْسُنَآإِلَّآأَنقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّاكُنَّاظَـٰلِمِينَ
ẓālimīnakunnāinnāqālūanillābasunājāahumidhdaʿwāhumkānafamā
Then notwastheir pleawhencame to themOur punishmentexceptthatthey saidIndeed, wewerewrongdoers
7:5
فَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّٱلَّذِينَأُرْسِلَإِلَيْهِمْوَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
l-mur'salīnawalanasalannailayhimur'silaalladhīnafalanasalanna
Then surely We will questionthose (to) whomwere sentto them (Messengers)and surely We will questionthe Messengers
7:6
فَلَنَقُصَّنَّعَلَيْهِمبِعِلْمٍۢ ۖوَمَاكُنَّاغَآئِبِينَ
ghāibīnakunnāwamābiʿil'minʿalayhimfalanaquṣṣanna
Then surely We will narrateto themwith knowledgeand notwere Weabsent
7:7
وَٱلْوَزْنُيَوْمَئِذٍٱلْحَقُّ ۚفَمَنثَقُلَتْمَوَٰزِينُهُۥفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
l-muf'liḥūnahumufa-ulāikamawāzīnuhuthaqulatfamanl-ḥaquyawma-idhinwal-waznu
And the weighingthat day(will be) the truthSo whose (will be) heavyhis scalesthen those[they](will be) the successful ones
7:8
وَمَنْخَفَّتْمَوَٰزِينُهُۥفَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَٱلَّذِينَخَسِرُوٓا۟أَنفُسَهُمبِمَاكَانُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَايَظْلِمُونَ
yaẓlimūnabiāyātinākānūbimāanfusahumkhasirūalladhīnafa-ulāikamawāzīnuhukhaffatwaman
And (for) those(will be) lighthis scalesso those(will be) the ones wholostthemselvesbecausethey wereto Our Verses(doing) injustice
7:9
وَلَقَدْمَكَّنَّـٰكُمْفِىٱلْأَرْضِوَجَعَلْنَالَكُمْفِيهَامَعَـٰيِشَ ۗقَلِيلًۭامَّاتَشْكُرُونَ
tashkurūnamāqalīlanmaʿāyishafīhālakumwajaʿalnāl-arḍifīmakkannākumwalaqad
And certainlyWe established youinthe earthand We madefor youin itlivelihoodLittle(is) whatyou (are) grateful
7:10
وَلَقَدْخَلَقْنَـٰكُمْثُمَّصَوَّرْنَـٰكُمْثُمَّقُلْنَالِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِٱسْجُدُوا۟لِـَٔادَمَفَسَجَدُوٓا۟إِلَّآإِبْلِيسَلَمْيَكُنمِّنَٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ
l-sājidīnaminayakunlamib'līsaillāfasajadūliādamaus'judūlil'malāikatiqul'nāthummaṣawwarnākumthummakhalaqnākumwalaqad
And certainlyWe created youthenWe fashioned youThenWe saidto the AngelsProstrateto AdamSo they prostratedexceptIblisNothe wasofthose who prostrated
7:11
قَالَمَامَنَعَكَأَلَّاتَسْجُدَإِذْأَمَرْتُكَ ۖقَالَأَنَا۠خَيْرٌۭمِّنْهُخَلَقْتَنِىمِننَّارٍۢوَخَلَقْتَهُۥمِنطِينٍۢ
ṭīninminwakhalaqtahunārinminkhalaqtanīmin'hukhayrunanāqālaamartukaidhtasjudaallāmanaʿakamāqāla
(Allah) saidWhatprevented youthat notyou prostratewhenI commanded you(Shaitaan) saidI ambetterthan himYou created mefromfireand You created himfromclay
7:12
قَالَفَٱهْبِطْمِنْهَافَمَايَكُونُلَكَأَنتَتَكَبَّرَفِيهَافَٱخْرُجْإِنَّكَمِنَٱلصَّـٰغِرِينَ
l-ṣāghirīnaminainnakafa-ukh'rujfīhātatakabbaraanlakayakūnufamāmin'hāfa-ih'biṭqāla
(Allah) saidThen go downfrom itfor notit isfor youthatyou be arrogantin itSo get outindeed, you(are) ofthe disgraced ones
7:13
قَالَأَنظِرْنِىٓإِلَىٰيَوْمِيُبْعَثُونَ
yub'ʿathūnayawmiilāanẓir'nīqāla
(Shaitaan) saidGive me respitetill(the) Daythey are raised up
7:14
قَالَإِنَّكَمِنَٱلْمُنظَرِينَ
l-munẓarīnaminainnakaqāla
(Allah) saidIndeed, you(are) ofthe ones given respite
7:15
قَالَفَبِمَآأَغْوَيْتَنِىلَأَقْعُدَنَّلَهُمْصِرَٰطَكَٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ
l-mus'taqīmaṣirāṭakalahumla-aqʿudannaaghwaytanīfabimāqāla
(Shaitaan) saidBecauseYou have sent me astraysurely I will sitfor them(on) Your paththe straight
7:16
ثُمَّلَـَٔاتِيَنَّهُممِّنۢبَيْنِأَيْدِيهِمْوَمِنْخَلْفِهِمْوَعَنْأَيْمَـٰنِهِمْوَعَنشَمَآئِلِهِمْ ۖوَلَاتَجِدُأَكْثَرَهُمْشَـٰكِرِينَ
shākirīnaaktharahumtajiduwalāshamāilihimwaʿanaymānihimwaʿankhalfihimwaminaydīhimbayniminlaātiyannahumthumma
Thensurely, I will come to themfrombeforethemand frombehind themand fromtheir rightand fromtheir leftand notYou (will) findmost of themgrateful
7:17
قَالَٱخْرُجْمِنْهَامَذْءُومًۭامَّدْحُورًۭا ۖلَّمَنتَبِعَكَمِنْهُمْلَأَمْلَأَنَّجَهَنَّمَمِنكُمْأَجْمَعِينَ
ajmaʿīnaminkumjahannamala-amla-annamin'humtabiʿakalamanmadḥūranmadhūmanmin'hāukh'rujqāla
(Allah) saidGet outof itdisgracedand expelledCertainly, whoeverfollows youamong themsurely, I will fillHellwith youall
7:18
وَيَـٰٓـَٔادَمُٱسْكُنْأَنتَوَزَوْجُكَٱلْجَنَّةَفَكُلَامِنْحَيْثُشِئْتُمَاوَلَاتَقْرَبَاهَـٰذِهِٱلشَّجَرَةَفَتَكُونَامِنَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnaminafatakūnāl-shajaratahādhihitaqrabāwalāshi'tumāḥaythuminfakulāl-janatawazawjukaantaus'kunwayāādamu
And O AdamDwellyouand your wife(in) the Gardenand you both eatfromwhereveryou both wishbut (do) notapproach [both of you]this[the] treelest you both beamongthe wrongdoers
7:19
فَوَسْوَسَلَهُمَاٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُلِيُبْدِىَلَهُمَامَاوُۥرِىَعَنْهُمَامِنسَوْءَٰتِهِمَاوَقَالَمَانَهَىٰكُمَارَبُّكُمَاعَنْهَـٰذِهِٱلشَّجَرَةِإِلَّآأَنتَكُونَامَلَكَيْنِأَوْتَكُونَامِنَٱلْخَـٰلِدِينَ
l-khālidīnaminatakūnāawmalakaynitakūnāanillāl-shajaratihādhihiʿanrabbukumānahākumāmāwaqālasawātihimāminʿanhumāwūriyamālahumāliyub'diyal-shayṭānulahumāfawaswasa
Then whisperedto both of themthe Shaitaanto make apparentto both of themwhatwas concealedfrom both of themoftheir shameAnd he said(Did) notforbid you bothyour Lordfromthis[the] treeexceptthatyou two becomeAngelsoryou two becomeofthe immortals
7:20
وَقَاسَمَهُمَآإِنِّىلَكُمَالَمِنَٱلنَّـٰصِحِينَ
l-nāṣiḥīnalaminalakumāinnīwaqāsamahumā
And he swore (to) both of themIndeed, I amto both of youamongthe sincere advisors
7:21
فَدَلَّىٰهُمَابِغُرُورٍۢ ۚفَلَمَّاذَاقَاٱلشَّجَرَةَبَدَتْلَهُمَاسَوْءَٰتُهُمَاوَطَفِقَايَخْصِفَانِعَلَيْهِمَامِنوَرَقِٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖوَنَادَىٰهُمَارَبُّهُمَآأَلَمْأَنْهَكُمَاعَنتِلْكُمَاٱلشَّجَرَةِوَأَقُللَّكُمَآإِنَّٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَلَكُمَاعَدُوٌّۭمُّبِينٌۭ
mubīnunʿaduwwunlakumāl-shayṭānainnalakumāwa-aqull-shajaratitil'kumāʿananhakumāalamrabbuhumāwanādāhumāl-janatiwaraqiminʿalayhimāyakhṣifāniwaṭafiqāsawātuhumālahumābadatl-shajaratadhāqāfalammābighurūrinfadallāhumā
So he made both of them fallby deceptionThen whenthey both tastedthe treebecame apparentto both of themtheir shameand they began(to) fastenover themselvesfrom(the) leaves(of) the GardenAnd called them boththeir LordDid notI forbid you bothfromthis[the] treeand [I] sayto both of youthat[the] Shaitaanto both of you(is) an enemyopen
7:22
قَالَارَبَّنَاظَلَمْنَآأَنفُسَنَاوَإِنلَّمْتَغْفِرْلَنَاوَتَرْحَمْنَالَنَكُونَنَّمِنَٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
l-khāsirīnaminalanakūnannawatarḥamnālanātaghfirlamwa-inanfusanāẓalamnārabbanāqālā
Both of them saidOur Lordwe have wrongedourselvesand ifnotYou forgive[for] usand have mercy (on) ussurely, we will beamongthe losers
7:23
قَالَٱهْبِطُوا۟بَعْضُكُمْلِبَعْضٍعَدُوٌّۭ ۖوَلَكُمْفِىٱلْأَرْضِمُسْتَقَرٌّۭوَمَتَـٰعٌإِلَىٰحِينٍۢ
ḥīninilāwamatāʿunmus'taqarrunl-arḍifīwalakumʿaduwwunlibaʿḍinbaʿḍukumih'biṭūqāla
(Allah) saidGet downsome of youto some others(as) enemyAnd for youinthe earth(is) a dwelling placeand livelihoodfora time
7:24
قَالَفِيهَاتَحْيَوْنَوَفِيهَاتَمُوتُونَوَمِنْهَاتُخْرَجُونَ
tukh'rajūnawamin'hātamūtūnawafīhātaḥyawnafīhāqāla
He saidIn ityou will liveand in ityou will dieand from ityou will be brought forth
7:25
يَـٰبَنِىٓءَادَمَقَدْأَنزَلْنَاعَلَيْكُمْلِبَاسًۭايُوَٰرِىسَوْءَٰتِكُمْوَرِيشًۭا ۖوَلِبَاسُٱلتَّقْوَىٰذَٰلِكَخَيْرٌۭ ۚذَٰلِكَمِنْءَايَـٰتِٱللَّهِلَعَلَّهُمْيَذَّكَّرُونَ
yadhakkarūnalaʿallahuml-lahiāyātimindhālikakhayrundhālikal-taqwāwalibāsuwarīshansawātikumyuwārīlibāsanʿalaykumanzalnāqadādamayābanī
O Children(of) AdamVerilyWe have sent downto youclothingit coversyour shameand (as) an adornmentBut the clothing(of) [the] righteousness that(is) bestThat(is) from(the) Signs(of) Allahso that they mayremember
7:26
يَـٰبَنِىٓءَادَمَلَايَفْتِنَنَّكُمُٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُكَمَآأَخْرَجَأَبَوَيْكُممِّنَٱلْجَنَّةِيَنزِعُعَنْهُمَالِبَاسَهُمَالِيُرِيَهُمَاسَوْءَٰتِهِمَآ ۗإِنَّهُۥيَرَىٰكُمْهُوَوَقَبِيلُهُۥمِنْحَيْثُلَاتَرَوْنَهُمْ ۗإِنَّاجَعَلْنَاٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَأَوْلِيَآءَلِلَّذِينَلَايُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnalālilladhīnaawliyāal-shayāṭīnajaʿalnāinnātarawnahumlāḥaythuminwaqabīluhuhuwayarākuminnahusawātihimāliyuriyahumālibāsahumāʿanhumāyanziʿul-janatiminaabawaykumakhrajakamāl-shayṭānuyaftinannakumulāādamayābanī
O Children(of) Adam(Let) nottempt you[the] Shaitaanashe drove outyour parentsfromParadisestrippingfrom both of themtheir clothingto show both of themtheir shameIndeed, hesees you heand his tribefromwherenotyou see themIndeedWe have madethe devilsfriendsof those who(do) notbelieve
7:27
وَإِذَافَعَلُوا۟فَـٰحِشَةًۭقَالُوا۟وَجَدْنَاعَلَيْهَآءَابَآءَنَاوَٱللَّهُأَمَرَنَابِهَا ۗقُلْإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايَأْمُرُبِٱلْفَحْشَآءِ ۖأَتَقُولُونَعَلَىٱللَّهِمَالَاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalāmāl-lahiʿalāataqūlūnabil-faḥshāiyamurulāl-lahainnaqulbihāamaranāwal-lahuābāanāʿalayhāwajadnāqālūfāḥishatanfaʿalūwa-idhā
And whenthey doimmoralitythey sayWe foundon itour forefathersand Allah(has) ordered usof itSayIndeedAllah(does) notorderimmoralityDo you sayaboutAllahwhatnotyou know
7:28
قُلْأَمَرَرَبِّىبِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖوَأَقِيمُوا۟وُجُوهَكُمْعِندَكُلِّمَسْجِدٍۢوَٱدْعُوهُمُخْلِصِينَلَهُٱلدِّينَ ۚكَمَابَدَأَكُمْتَعُودُونَ
taʿūdūnabada-akumkamāl-dīnalahumukh'liṣīnawa-id'ʿūhumasjidinkulliʿindawujūhakumwa-aqīmūbil-qis'ṭirabbīamaraqul
Say(Has been) ordered(by) my Lordjusticeand setyour facesateverymasjidand invoke Him(being) sincereto Him(in) the religionAsHe originated you(so) will you return
7:29
فَرِيقًاهَدَىٰوَفَرِيقًاحَقَّعَلَيْهِمُٱلضَّلَـٰلَةُ ۗإِنَّهُمُٱتَّخَذُوا۟ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَأَوْلِيَآءَمِندُونِٱللَّهِوَيَحْسَبُونَأَنَّهُممُّهْتَدُونَ
muh'tadūnaannahumwayaḥsabūnal-lahidūniminawliyāal-shayāṭīnaittakhadhūinnahumul-ḍalālatuʿalayhimuḥaqqawafarīqanhadāfarīqan
A groupHe guidedand a groupdeserved [on] theythe astrayingIndeed, theytakethe devils(as) alliesfrombesidesAllahwhile they thinkthat they(are the) guided-ones
7:30
۞ يَـٰبَنِىٓءَادَمَخُذُوا۟زِينَتَكُمْعِندَكُلِّمَسْجِدٍۢوَكُلُوا۟وَٱشْرَبُوا۟وَلَاتُسْرِفُوٓا۟ ۚإِنَّهُۥلَايُحِبُّٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
l-mus'rifīnayuḥibbulāinnahutus'rifūwalāwa-ish'rabūwakulūmasjidinkulliʿindazīnatakumkhudhūādamayābanī
O Children(of) AdamTakeyour adornmentateverymasjidand eatand drinkbut (do) notbe extravagantIndeed, He(does) notlovethe extravagant ones
7:31
قُلْمَنْحَرَّمَزِينَةَٱللَّهِٱلَّتِىٓأَخْرَجَلِعِبَادِهِۦوَٱلطَّيِّبَـٰتِمِنَٱلرِّزْقِ ۚقُلْهِىَلِلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟فِىٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاخَالِصَةًۭيَوْمَٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗكَذَٰلِكَنُفَصِّلُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلِقَوْمٍۢيَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūnaliqawminl-āyātinufaṣṣilukadhālikal-qiyāmatiyawmakhāliṣatanl-dun'yāl-ḥayatifīāmanūlilladhīnahiyaqull-riz'qiminawal-ṭayibātiliʿibādihiakhrajaallatīl-lahizīnataḥarramamanqul
SayWhohas forbidden(the) adornment(from) AllahwhichHe has brought forthfor His slavesand the pure thingsofsustenanceSayThey(are) for those whobelieveduringthe life(of) the worldexclusively (for them)(on the) Day(of) ResurrectionThusWe explainthe Signsfor (the) peoplewho know
7:32
قُلْإِنَّمَاحَرَّمَرَبِّىَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَمَاظَهَرَمِنْهَاوَمَابَطَنَوَٱلْإِثْمَوَٱلْبَغْىَبِغَيْرِٱلْحَقِّوَأَنتُشْرِكُوا۟بِٱللَّهِمَالَمْيُنَزِّلْبِهِۦسُلْطَـٰنًۭاوَأَنتَقُولُوا۟عَلَىٱللَّهِمَالَاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalāmāl-lahiʿalātaqūlūwa-ansul'ṭānanbihiyunazzillammābil-lahitush'rikūwa-anl-ḥaqibighayriwal-baghyawal-ith'mabaṭanawamāmin'hāẓaharamāl-fawāḥisharabbiyaḥarramainnamāqul
SayOnly(had) forbiddenmy Lordthe shameful deedswhat(is) apparentof itand whatis concealedand the sinand the oppressionwithout[the] rightand thatyou associate (others)with AllahwhatnotHe (has) sent downof itany authorityand thatyou sayaboutAllahwhatnotyou know
7:33
وَلِكُلِّأُمَّةٍأَجَلٌۭ ۖفَإِذَاجَآءَأَجَلُهُمْلَايَسْتَأْخِرُونَسَاعَةًۭ ۖوَلَايَسْتَقْدِمُونَ
yastaqdimūnawalāsāʿatanyastakhirūnalāajaluhumjāafa-idhāajalunummatinwalikulli
And for everynation(is a fixed) termSo whencomestheir term(they can) notseek to delayan hourand notseek to advance (it)
7:34
يَـٰبَنِىٓءَادَمَإِمَّايَأْتِيَنَّكُمْرُسُلٌۭمِّنكُمْيَقُصُّونَعَلَيْكُمْءَايَـٰتِى ۙفَمَنِٱتَّقَىٰوَأَصْلَحَفَلَاخَوْفٌعَلَيْهِمْوَلَاهُمْيَحْزَنُونَ
yaḥzanūnahumwalāʿalayhimkhawfunfalāwa-aṣlaḥaittaqāfamaniāyātīʿalaykumyaquṣṣūnaminkumrusulunyatiyannakumimmāādamayābanī
O Children(of) AdamIfcome to youMessengersfrom yourelatingto youMy Versesthen whoeverfears Allahand reformsthen nofearon themand nottheywill grieve
7:35
وَٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاوَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟عَنْهَآأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلنَّارِ ۖهُمْفِيهَاخَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūnafīhāhuml-nāriaṣḥābuulāikaʿanhāwa-is'takbarūbiāyātinākadhabūwa-alladhīna
But those whodenyOur Versesand (are) arroganttowards themthose(are the) companions(of) the Firetheyin itwill abide forever
7:36
فَمَنْأَظْلَمُمِمَّنِٱفْتَرَىٰعَلَىٱللَّهِكَذِبًاأَوْكَذَّبَبِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۚأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَيَنَالُهُمْنَصِيبُهُممِّنَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاجَآءَتْهُمْرُسُلُنَايَتَوَفَّوْنَهُمْقَالُوٓا۟أَيْنَمَاكُنتُمْتَدْعُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِ ۖقَالُوا۟ضَلُّوا۟عَنَّاوَشَهِدُوا۟عَلَىٰٓأَنفُسِهِمْأَنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟كَـٰفِرِينَ
kāfirīnakānūannahumanfusihimʿalāwashahidūʿannāḍallūqālūl-lahidūnimintadʿūnakuntummāaynaqālūyatawaffawnahumrusulunājāathumidhāḥattāl-kitābiminanaṣībuhumyanāluhumulāikabiāyātihikadhabaawkadhibanl-lahiʿalāif'tarāmimmaniaẓlamufaman
Then who(is) more unjustthan (one) whoinventedagainstAllaha lieordeniesHis VersesThose will reach themtheir portionfromthe Bookuntilwhencomes to themOur messengers (Angels)(to) take them in deaththey sayWhere arethose (whom)you used toinvokefrombesidesAllahThey sayThey strayedfrom usand they (will) testifyagainstthemselvesthat theyweredisbelievers
7:37
قَالَٱدْخُلُوا۟فِىٓأُمَمٍۢقَدْخَلَتْمِنقَبْلِكُممِّنَٱلْجِنِّوَٱلْإِنسِفِىٱلنَّارِ ۖكُلَّمَادَخَلَتْأُمَّةٌۭلَّعَنَتْأُخْتَهَا ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَاٱدَّارَكُوا۟فِيهَاجَمِيعًۭاقَالَتْأُخْرَىٰهُمْلِأُولَىٰهُمْرَبَّنَاهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِأَضَلُّونَافَـَٔاتِهِمْعَذَابًۭاضِعْفًۭامِّنَٱلنَّارِ ۖقَالَلِكُلٍّۢضِعْفٌۭوَلَـٰكِنلَّاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalāwalākinḍiʿ'funlikullinqālal-nāriminaḍiʿ'fanʿadhābanfaātihimaḍallūnāhāulāirabbanāliūlāhumukh'rāhumqālatjamīʿanfīhāiddārakūidhāḥattāukh'tahālaʿanatummatundakhalatkullamāl-nārifīwal-insil-jiniminaqablikumminkhalatqadumaminfīud'khulūqāla
He (will) sayEnteramong(the) nations(who)passed awayfrombefore youofthe jinnand the meninthe FireEvery timeentereda nationit cursedits sister (nation)untilwhenthey had overtaken one anotherin itall(will) say(the) last of themabout the first of themOur Lordthesemisled usso give thempunishmentdoubleofthe FireHe (will) sayFor each(is) a double[and] butnotyou know
7:38
وَقَالَتْأُولَىٰهُمْلِأُخْرَىٰهُمْفَمَاكَانَلَكُمْعَلَيْنَامِنفَضْلٍۢفَذُوقُوا۟ٱلْعَذَابَبِمَاكُنتُمْتَكْسِبُونَ
taksibūnakuntumbimāl-ʿadhābafadhūqūfaḍlinminʿalaynālakumkānafamāli-ukh'rāhumūlāhumwaqālat
And (will) say(the) first of themto (the) last of themThen notisfor youupon usanysuperiorityso tastethe punishmentfor whatyou used toearn
7:39
إِنَّٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَاوَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟عَنْهَالَاتُفَتَّحُلَهُمْأَبْوَٰبُٱلسَّمَآءِوَلَايَدْخُلُونَٱلْجَنَّةَحَتَّىٰيَلِجَٱلْجَمَلُفِىسَمِّٱلْخِيَاطِ ۚوَكَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِىٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
l-muj'rimīnanajzīwakadhālikal-khiyāṭisammifīl-jamaluyalijaḥattāl-janatayadkhulūnawalāl-samāiabwābulahumtufattaḥulāʿanhāwa-is'takbarūbiāyātinākadhabūalladhīnainna
Indeedthose whodeniedOur Versesand (were) arroganttowards them(will) notbe openedfor them(the) doors(of) the heavenand notthey will enterParadiseuntilpassesthe camelthrough(the) eye(of) the needleAnd thusWe recompensethe criminals
7:40
لَهُممِّنجَهَنَّمَمِهَادٌۭوَمِنفَوْقِهِمْغَوَاشٍۢ ۚوَكَذَٰلِكَنَجْزِىٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnanajzīwakadhālikaghawāshinfawqihimwaminmihādunjahannamaminlahum
For themof(the) Hell(is) a bedand fromover themcoveringsAnd thusWe recompensethe wrongdoers
7:41
وَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَعَمِلُوا۟ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِلَانُكَلِّفُنَفْسًاإِلَّاوُسْعَهَآأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْجَنَّةِ ۖهُمْفِيهَاخَـٰلِدُونَ
khālidūnafīhāhuml-janatiaṣḥābuulāikawus'ʿahāillānafsannukallifulāl-ṣāliḥātiwaʿamilūāmanūwa-alladhīna
But those whobelieveand do[the] righteous deedsnotWe burdenany soulexcept(to) its capacityThose(are the) companions(of) Paradisetheyin it(will) abide forever
7:42
وَنَزَعْنَامَافِىصُدُورِهِممِّنْغِلٍّۢتَجْرِىمِنتَحْتِهِمُٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖوَقَالُوا۟ٱلْحَمْدُلِلَّهِٱلَّذِىهَدَىٰنَالِهَـٰذَاوَمَاكُنَّالِنَهْتَدِىَلَوْلَآأَنْهَدَىٰنَاٱللَّهُ ۖلَقَدْجَآءَتْرُسُلُرَبِّنَابِٱلْحَقِّ ۖوَنُودُوٓا۟أَنتِلْكُمُٱلْجَنَّةُأُورِثْتُمُوهَابِمَاكُنتُمْتَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūnakuntumbimāūrith'tumūhāl-janatutil'kumuanwanūdūbil-ḥaqirabbinārusulujāatlaqadl-lahuhadānāanlawlālinahtadiyakunnāwamālihādhāhadānāalladhīlillahil-ḥamduwaqālūl-anhārutaḥtihimumintajrīghillinminṣudūrihimfīmāwanazaʿnā
And We will removewhatever(is) intheir breastsofmaliceFlowsfromunderneath themthe riversAnd they will sayAll the praise(is) for Allahthe One Whoguided usto thisand notwe wereto receive guidanceif not[that](had) guided usAllahCertainlycameMessengers(of) our Lordwith the truthAnd they will be addressed[that]This(is) Paradiseyou have been made to inherit itfor whatyou used todo
7:43
وَنَادَىٰٓأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْجَنَّةِأَصْحَـٰبَٱلنَّارِأَنقَدْوَجَدْنَامَاوَعَدَنَارَبُّنَاحَقًّۭافَهَلْوَجَدتُّممَّاوَعَدَرَبُّكُمْحَقًّۭا ۖقَالُوا۟نَعَمْ ۚفَأَذَّنَمُؤَذِّنٌۢبَيْنَهُمْأَنلَّعْنَةُٱللَّهِعَلَىٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnaʿalāl-lahilaʿnatuanbaynahummu-adhinunfa-adhananaʿamqālūḥaqqanrabbukumwaʿadamāwajadttumfahalḥaqqanrabbunāwaʿadanāmāwajadnāqadanl-nāriaṣḥābal-janatiaṣḥābuwanādā
And will call out(the) companions(of) Paradise(to the) companions(of) the FirethatIndeedwe foundwhat(had) promised usour LordtrueSo haveyou foundwhat(was) promised(by) your Lord(to be) trueThey will sayYesThen will announcean announceramong them[that](The) curse(of) Allah(is) onthe wrongdoers
7:44
ٱلَّذِينَيَصُدُّونَعَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِوَيَبْغُونَهَاعِوَجًۭاوَهُمبِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِكَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūnabil-ākhiratiwahumʿiwajanwayabghūnahāl-lahisabīliʿanyaṣuddūnaalladhīna
Those whohinderfrom(the) way(of) Allahand seek in itcrookednesswhile they (are)concerning the Hereafterdisbelievers
7:45
وَبَيْنَهُمَاحِجَابٌۭ ۚوَعَلَىٱلْأَعْرَافِرِجَالٌۭيَعْرِفُونَكُلًّۢابِسِيمَىٰهُمْ ۚوَنَادَوْا۟أَصْحَـٰبَٱلْجَنَّةِأَنسَلَـٰمٌعَلَيْكُمْ ۚلَمْيَدْخُلُوهَاوَهُمْيَطْمَعُونَ
yaṭmaʿūnawahumyadkhulūhālamʿalaykumsalāmunanl-janatiaṣḥābawanādawbisīmāhumkullanyaʿrifūnarijālunl-aʿrāfiwaʿalāḥijābunwabaynahumā
And between them(will be) a partitionand onthe heights(will be) menrecognizingallby their marksAnd they will call out(to the) companions(of) ParadisethatPeace(be) upon youNotthey have entered itbut theyhope
7:46
۞ وَإِذَاصُرِفَتْأَبْصَـٰرُهُمْتِلْقَآءَأَصْحَـٰبِٱلنَّارِقَالُوا۟رَبَّنَالَاتَجْعَلْنَامَعَٱلْقَوْمِٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
l-ẓālimīnal-qawmimaʿatajʿalnālārabbanāqālūl-nāriaṣḥābitil'qāaabṣāruhumṣurifatwa-idhā
And whenare turnedtheir eyestowards(the) companions(of) the Firethey (will) sayOur Lord(Do) notplace uswiththe people the wrongdoers
7:47
وَنَادَىٰٓأَصْحَـٰبُٱلْأَعْرَافِرِجَالًۭايَعْرِفُونَهُمبِسِيمَىٰهُمْقَالُوا۟مَآأَغْنَىٰعَنكُمْجَمْعُكُمْوَمَاكُنتُمْتَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
tastakbirūnakuntumwamājamʿukumʿankumaghnāmāqālūbisīmāhumyaʿrifūnahumrijālanl-aʿrāfiaṣḥābuwanādā
And (will) call out(the) companions(of) the heights(to) menwhom they recognizeby their markssayingNot(has) availed[to] youyour gatheringand whatyou werearrogant (about)
7:48
أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِٱلَّذِينَأَقْسَمْتُمْلَايَنَالُهُمُٱللَّهُبِرَحْمَةٍ ۚٱدْخُلُوا۟ٱلْجَنَّةَلَاخَوْفٌعَلَيْكُمْوَلَآأَنتُمْتَحْزَنُونَ
taḥzanūnaantumwalāʿalaykumkhawfunlāl-janataud'khulūbiraḥmatinl-lahuyanāluhumulāaqsamtumalladhīnaahāulāi
Are thesethe ones whomyou had sworn(that) not(will) grant themAllahMercyEnterParadise(There will be) nofearupon youand notyouwill grieve
7:49
وَنَادَىٰٓأَصْحَـٰبُٱلنَّارِأَصْحَـٰبَٱلْجَنَّةِأَنْأَفِيضُوا۟عَلَيْنَامِنَٱلْمَآءِأَوْمِمَّارَزَقَكُمُٱللَّهُ ۚقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّٱللَّهَحَرَّمَهُمَاعَلَىٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīnaʿalāḥarramahumāl-lahainnaqālūl-lahurazaqakumumimmāawl-māiminaʿalaynāafīḍūanl-janatiaṣḥābal-nāriaṣḥābuwanādā
And (will) call out(the) companions(of) the Fire(to the) companions(of) Paradise[that]Pourupon us[of](some) waterorof what(has been) provided (to) you(by) AllahThey (will) sayIndeedAllahhas forbidden bothtothe disbelievers
7:50
ٱلَّذِينَٱتَّخَذُوا۟دِينَهُمْلَهْوًۭاوَلَعِبًۭاوَغَرَّتْهُمُٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَا ۚفَٱلْيَوْمَنَنسَىٰهُمْكَمَانَسُوا۟لِقَآءَيَوْمِهِمْهَـٰذَاوَمَاكَانُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَايَجْحَدُونَ
yajḥadūnabiāyātinākānūwamāhādhāyawmihimliqāanasūkamānansāhumfal-yawmal-dun'yāl-ḥayatuwagharrathumuwalaʿibanlahwandīnahumittakhadhūalladhīna
Those whotooktheir religion(as) an amusementand playand deluded themthe life(of) the worldSo todayWe forget themasthey forgot(the) meeting(of) their daythisand [what](as) they used towith Our Versesthey reject
7:51
وَلَقَدْجِئْنَـٰهُمبِكِتَـٰبٍۢفَصَّلْنَـٰهُعَلَىٰعِلْمٍهُدًۭىوَرَحْمَةًۭلِّقَوْمٍۢيُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūnaliqawminwaraḥmatanhudanʿil'minʿalāfaṣṣalnāhubikitābinji'nāhumwalaqad
And certainlyWe had brought thema Bookwhich We have explainedwithknowledge as guidanceand mercyfor a peoplewho believe
7:52
هَلْيَنظُرُونَإِلَّاتَأْوِيلَهُۥ ۚيَوْمَيَأْتِىتَأْوِيلُهُۥيَقُولُٱلَّذِينَنَسُوهُمِنقَبْلُقَدْجَآءَتْرُسُلُرَبِّنَابِٱلْحَقِّفَهَللَّنَامِنشُفَعَآءَفَيَشْفَعُوا۟لَنَآأَوْنُرَدُّفَنَعْمَلَغَيْرَٱلَّذِىكُنَّانَعْمَلُ ۚقَدْخَسِرُوٓا۟أَنفُسَهُمْوَضَلَّعَنْهُممَّاكَانُوا۟يَفْتَرُونَ
yaftarūnakānūmāʿanhumwaḍallaanfusahumkhasirūqadnaʿmalukunnāalladhīghayrafanaʿmalanuradduawlanāfayashfaʿūshufaʿāaminlanāfahalbil-ḥaqirabbinārusulujāatqadqabluminnasūhualladhīnayaqūlutawīluhuyatīyawmatawīlahuillāyanẓurūnahal
Dothey waitexcept(for) its fulfillment(The) Day(will) comeits fulfillmentwill saythose whohad forgotten itfrombeforeVerilyhad come(the) Messengers(of) our Lordwith the truthso are (there)for usanyintercessorsso (that) they intercedefor usorwe are sent backso (that) we do (deeds)other thanthat whichwe used todoVerilythey lostthemselvesand strayedfrom themwhatthey used toinvent
7:53
إِنَّرَبَّكُمُٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىخَلَقَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَفِىسِتَّةِأَيَّامٍۢثُمَّٱسْتَوَىٰعَلَىٱلْعَرْشِيُغْشِىٱلَّيْلَٱلنَّهَارَيَطْلُبُهُۥحَثِيثًۭاوَٱلشَّمْسَوَٱلْقَمَرَوَٱلنُّجُومَمُسَخَّرَٰتٍۭبِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗأَلَالَهُٱلْخَلْقُوَٱلْأَمْرُ ۗتَبَارَكَٱللَّهُرَبُّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbul-lahutabārakawal-amrul-khalqulahualābi-amrihimusakharātinwal-nujūmawal-qamarawal-shamsaḥathīthanyaṭlubuhul-nahāraal-laylayugh'shīl-ʿarshiʿalāis'tawāthummaayyāminsittatifīwal-arḍal-samāwātikhalaqaalladhīl-lahurabbakumuinna
Indeedyour Lord(is) Allahthe One Whocreatedthe heavensand the earthinsixepochsthenHe ascendedonthe ThroneHe coversthe night(with) the dayseeking itrapidlyand the sunand the moonand the stars subjectedby His commandUnquestionablyfor Him(is) the creationand the commandblessed(is) AllahLord(of) the worlds
7:54
ٱدْعُوا۟رَبَّكُمْتَضَرُّعًۭاوَخُفْيَةً ۚإِنَّهُۥلَايُحِبُّٱلْمُعْتَدِينَ
l-muʿ'tadīnayuḥibbulāinnahuwakhuf'yatantaḍarruʿanrabbakumid'ʿū
Call uponyour Lordhumblyand privatelyIndeed, He(does) notlovethe transgressors
7:55
وَلَاتُفْسِدُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِبَعْدَإِصْلَـٰحِهَاوَٱدْعُوهُخَوْفًۭاوَطَمَعًا ۚإِنَّرَحْمَتَٱللَّهِقَرِيبٌۭمِّنَٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
l-muḥ'sinīnaminaqarībunl-lahiraḥmatainnawaṭamaʿankhawfanwa-id'ʿūhuiṣ'lāḥihābaʿdal-arḍifītuf'sidūwalā
And (do) notcause corruptioninthe earthafterits reformationAnd call Him(in) fearand hopeIndeed(the) Mercy(of) Allah(is) nearforthe good-doers
7:56
وَهُوَٱلَّذِىيُرْسِلُٱلرِّيَـٰحَبُشْرًۢابَيْنَيَدَىْرَحْمَتِهِۦ ۖحَتَّىٰٓإِذَآأَقَلَّتْسَحَابًۭاثِقَالًۭاسُقْنَـٰهُلِبَلَدٍۢمَّيِّتٍۢفَأَنزَلْنَابِهِٱلْمَآءَفَأَخْرَجْنَابِهِۦمِنكُلِّٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۚكَذَٰلِكَنُخْرِجُٱلْمَوْتَىٰلَعَلَّكُمْتَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkarūnalaʿallakuml-mawtānukh'rijukadhālikal-thamarātikulliminbihifa-akhrajnāl-māabihifa-anzalnāmayyitinlibaladinsuq'nāhuthiqālansaḥābanaqallatidhāḥattāraḥmatihiyadaybaynabush'ranl-riyāḥayur'silualladhīwahuwa
And He(is) the One Whosendsthe winds(as) glad tidingsfrombeforeHis Mercyuntilwhenthey have carriedclouds heavyWe drive themto a landdeadthen We send downfrom itthe waterthen We bring forthfrom it(of)all (kinds)(of) fruitsThusWe will bring forththe deadso that you maytake heed
7:57
وَٱلْبَلَدُٱلطَّيِّبُيَخْرُجُنَبَاتُهُۥبِإِذْنِرَبِّهِۦ ۖوَٱلَّذِىخَبُثَلَايَخْرُجُإِلَّانَكِدًۭا ۚكَذَٰلِكَنُصَرِّفُٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِلِقَوْمٍۢيَشْكُرُونَ
yashkurūnaliqawminl-āyātinuṣarrifukadhālikanakidanillāyakhrujulākhabuthawa-alladhīrabbihibi-idh'ninabātuhuyakhrujul-ṭayibuwal-baladu
And the land [the] purecomes forthits vegetationby (the) permission(of) its Lordbut whichis bad (does) notcome forthexcept(with) difficultyThusWe explainthe Signsfor a peoplewho are grateful
7:58
لَقَدْأَرْسَلْنَانُوحًاإِلَىٰقَوْمِهِۦفَقَالَيَـٰقَوْمِٱعْبُدُوا۟ٱللَّهَمَالَكُممِّنْإِلَـٰهٍغَيْرُهُۥٓإِنِّىٓأَخَافُعَلَيْكُمْعَذَابَيَوْمٍعَظِيمٍۢ
ʿaẓīminyawminʿadhābaʿalaykumakhāfuinnīghayruhuilāhinminlakummāl-lahauʿ'budūyāqawmifaqālaqawmihiilānūḥanarsalnālaqad
CertainlyWe sentNuhtohis peopleand he saidO my peopleWorshipAllahnotfor youanygodother than HimIndeed, I[I] fearfor youpunishment(of the) DayGreat
7:59
قَالَٱلْمَلَأُمِنقَوْمِهِۦٓإِنَّالَنَرَىٰكَفِىضَلَـٰلٍۢمُّبِينٍۢ
mubīninḍalālinfīlanarākainnāqawmihiminl-mala-uqāla
Saidthe chiefsofhis peopleIndeed, wesurely see youinerrorclear
7:60
قَالَيَـٰقَوْمِلَيْسَبِىضَلَـٰلَةٌۭوَلَـٰكِنِّىرَسُولٌۭمِّنرَّبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbiminrasūlunwalākinnīḍalālatunbīlaysayāqawmiqāla
He saidO my peopleThere is notin meerrorbut I ama Messengerfrom(the) Lord(of) the worlds
7:61
أُبَلِّغُكُمْرِسَـٰلَـٰتِرَبِّىوَأَنصَحُلَكُمْوَأَعْلَمُمِنَٱللَّهِمَالَاتَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūnalāmāl-lahiminawa-aʿlamulakumwa-anṣaḥurabbīrisālātiuballighukum
I convey to youthe Messages(of) my Lordand [I] advise[to] youand I knowfromAllahwhatnotyou know
7:62
أَوَعَجِبْتُمْأَنجَآءَكُمْذِكْرٌۭمِّنرَّبِّكُمْعَلَىٰرَجُلٍۢمِّنكُمْلِيُنذِرَكُمْوَلِتَتَّقُوا۟وَلَعَلَّكُمْتُرْحَمُونَ
tur'ḥamūnawalaʿallakumwalitattaqūliyundhirakumminkumrajulinʿalārabbikummindhik'runjāakumanawaʿajib'tum
Do you wonderthathas come to youa reminderfromyour Lordona manamong youthat he may warn youand that you may fearand so that you mayreceive mercy
7:63
فَكَذَّبُوهُفَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُوَٱلَّذِينَمَعَهُۥفِىٱلْفُلْكِوَأَغْرَقْنَاٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۚإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟قَوْمًاعَمِينَ
ʿamīnaqawmankānūinnahumbiāyātinākadhabūalladhīnawa-aghraqnāl-ful'kifīmaʿahuwa-alladhīnafa-anjaynāhufakadhabūhu
But they denied himso We saved himand those who(were) with himinthe shipAnd We drownedthose whodeniedOur VersesIndeed, theywerea peopleblind
7:64
۞ وَإِلَىٰعَادٍأَخَاهُمْهُودًۭا ۗقَالَيَـٰقَوْمِٱعْبُدُوا۟ٱللَّهَمَالَكُممِّنْإِلَـٰهٍغَيْرُهُۥٓ ۚأَفَلَاتَتَّقُونَ
tattaqūnaafalāghayruhuilāhinminlakummāl-lahauʿ'budūyāqawmiqālahūdanakhāhumʿādinwa-ilā
And toAad(We sent) their brotherHudHe saidO my peopleWorshipAllahnotfor youanygodother than HimThen will notyou fear (Allah)
7:65
قَالَٱلْمَلَأُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟مِنقَوْمِهِۦٓإِنَّالَنَرَىٰكَفِىسَفَاهَةٍۢوَإِنَّالَنَظُنُّكَمِنَٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ
l-kādhibīnaminalanaẓunnukawa-innāsafāhatinfīlanarākainnāqawmihiminkafarūalladhīnal-mala-uqāla
Saidthe chiefs(of) those whodisbelievedfromhis peopleIndeed, wesurely, see youinfoolishnessand indeed, we[we] think you(are) ofthe liars
7:66
قَالَيَـٰقَوْمِلَيْسَبِىسَفَاهَةٌۭوَلَـٰكِنِّىرَسُولٌۭمِّنرَّبِّٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnarabbiminrasūlunwalākinnīsafāhatunbīlaysayāqawmiqāla
He saidO my peopleThere is notin mefoolishnessbut I ama Messengerfrom(the) Lord(of) the worlds
7:67
أُبَلِّغُكُمْرِسَـٰلَـٰتِرَبِّىوَأَنَا۠لَكُمْنَاصِحٌأَمِينٌ
amīnunnāṣiḥunlakumwa-anārabbīrisālātiuballighukum
I convey to youMessages(of) my Lordand I amto youan adviser trustworthy
7:68
أَوَعَجِبْتُمْأَنجَآءَكُمْذِكْرٌۭمِّنرَّبِّكُمْعَلَىٰرَجُلٍۢمِّنكُمْلِيُنذِرَكُمْ ۚوَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟إِذْجَعَلَكُمْخُلَفَآءَمِنۢبَعْدِقَوْمِنُوحٍۢوَزَادَكُمْفِىٱلْخَلْقِبَصْۜطَةًۭ ۖفَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ءَالَآءَٱللَّهِلَعَلَّكُمْتُفْلِحُونَ
tuf'liḥūnalaʿallakuml-lahiālāafa-udh'kurūbaṣ'ṭatanl-khalqifīwazādakumnūḥinqawmibaʿdiminkhulafāajaʿalakumidhwa-udh'kurūliyundhirakumminkumrajulinʿalārabbikummindhik'runjāakumanawaʿajib'tum
Do you wonderthathas come to youa reminderfromyour Lordona manamong youthat he may warn youAnd rememberwhenHe made yousuccessorsfromafter(the) people(of) Nuhand increased youinthe statureextensivelySo remember(the) Bounties(of) Allahso that you maysucceed
7:69
قَالُوٓا۟أَجِئْتَنَالِنَعْبُدَٱللَّهَوَحْدَهُۥوَنَذَرَمَاكَانَيَعْبُدُءَابَآؤُنَا ۖفَأْتِنَابِمَاتَعِدُنَآإِنكُنتَمِنَٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
l-ṣādiqīnaminakuntaintaʿidunābimāfatināābāunāyaʿbudukānamāwanadharawaḥdahul-lahalinaʿbudaaji'tanāqālū
They saidHave you come to usthat we (should) worshipAllahAloneand we forsakewhatused toworshipour forefathersThen bring usof whatyou promise usifyou areofthe truthful
7:70
قَالَقَدْوَقَعَعَلَيْكُممِّنرَّبِّكُمْرِجْسٌۭوَغَضَبٌ ۖأَتُجَـٰدِلُونَنِىفِىٓأَسْمَآءٍۢسَمَّيْتُمُوهَآأَنتُمْوَءَابَآؤُكُممَّانَزَّلَٱللَّهُبِهَامِنسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ ۚفَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟إِنِّىمَعَكُممِّنَٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ
l-muntaẓirīnaminamaʿakuminnīfa-intaẓirūsul'ṭāninminbihāl-lahunazzalamāwaābāukumantumsammaytumūhāasmāinfīatujādilūnanīwaghaḍabunrij'sunrabbikumminʿalaykumwaqaʿaqadqāla
He saidVerilyhas fallenupon youfromyour Lordpunishmentand angerDo you dispute with meconcerningnamesyou have named them youand your forefathersNot(has been) sent down(by) Allahfor itanyauthorityThen waitindeed, I amwith youofthe ones who wait
7:71
فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُوَٱلَّذِينَمَعَهُۥبِرَحْمَةٍۢمِّنَّاوَقَطَعْنَادَابِرَٱلَّذِينَكَذَّبُوا۟بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا ۖوَمَاكَانُوا۟مُؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīnakānūwamābiāyātinākadhabūalladhīnadābirawaqaṭaʿnāminnābiraḥmatinmaʿahuwa-alladhīnafa-anjaynāhu
So We saved himand thosewith himby Mercyfrom UsAnd We cut offthe roots(of) those whodeniedOur Signsand notthey werebelievers
7:72
وَإِلَىٰثَمُودَأَخَاهُمْصَـٰلِحًۭا ۗقَالَيَـٰقَوْمِٱعْبُدُوا۟ٱللَّهَمَالَكُممِّنْإِلَـٰهٍغَيْرُهُۥ ۖقَدْجَآءَتْكُمبَيِّنَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّكُمْ ۖهَـٰذِهِۦنَاقَةُٱللَّهِلَكُمْءَايَةًۭ ۖفَذَرُوهَاتَأْكُلْفِىٓأَرْضِٱللَّهِ ۖوَلَاتَمَسُّوهَابِسُوٓءٍۢفَيَأْخُذَكُمْعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌۭ
alīmunʿadhābunfayakhudhakumbisūintamassūhāwalāl-lahiarḍifītakulfadharūhāāyatanlakuml-lahināqatuhādhihirabbikumminbayyinatunjāatkumqadghayruhuilāhinminlakummāl-lahauʿ'budūyāqawmiqālaṣāliḥanakhāhumthamūdawa-ilā
And toThamud(We sent) their brotherSalihHe saidO my peopleWorshipAllahnotfor youanygodother than HimVerilyhas come to youa clear prooffromyour LordThis(is) a she-camel(of) Allah(it is) for youa SignSo you leave her(to) eaton(the) earth(of) Allahand (do) nottouch herwith harmlest seizes youa punishmentpainful
7:73
وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟إِذْجَعَلَكُمْخُلَفَآءَمِنۢبَعْدِعَادٍۢوَبَوَّأَكُمْفِىٱلْأَرْضِتَتَّخِذُونَمِنسُهُولِهَاقُصُورًۭاوَتَنْحِتُونَٱلْجِبَالَبُيُوتًۭا ۖفَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ءَالَآءَٱللَّهِوَلَاتَعْثَوْا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِمُفْسِدِينَ
muf'sidīnal-arḍifītaʿthawwalāl-lahiālāafa-udh'kurūbuyūtanl-jibālawatanḥitūnaquṣūransuhūlihāmintattakhidhūnal-arḍifīwabawwa-akumʿādinbaʿdiminkhulafāajaʿalakumidhwa-udh'kurū
And rememberwhenHe made yousuccessorsfromafterAadand settled youinthe earthYou takefromits plainspalacesand you carve outthe mountains(as) homesSo remember(the) Bounties(of) Allahand (do) notact wickedlyin(the) earthspreading corruption
7:74
قَالَٱلْمَلَأُٱلَّذِينَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟مِنقَوْمِهِۦلِلَّذِينَٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟لِمَنْءَامَنَمِنْهُمْأَتَعْلَمُونَأَنَّصَـٰلِحًۭامُّرْسَلٌۭمِّنرَّبِّهِۦ ۚقَالُوٓا۟إِنَّابِمَآأُرْسِلَبِهِۦمُؤْمِنُونَ
mu'minūnabihiur'silabimāinnāqālūrabbihiminmur'salunṣāliḥanannaataʿlamūnamin'humāmanalimanus'tuḍ'ʿifūlilladhīnaqawmihiminis'takbarūalladhīnal-mala-uqāla
Saidthe chiefs those(who) were arrogantamonghis peopleto those whowere oppressed [to] those whobelievedamong themDo you knowthatSalih(is the) one sentfromhis LordThey saidIndeed, wein whathe has been sentwith [it](are) believers
7:75
قَالَٱلَّذِينَٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟إِنَّابِٱلَّذِىٓءَامَنتُمبِهِۦكَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūnabihiāmantumbi-alladhīinnāis'takbarūalladhīnaqāla
Saidthose whowere arrogantIndeed wein that whichyou believein it(are) disbelievers
7:76
فَعَقَرُوا۟ٱلنَّاقَةَوَعَتَوْا۟عَنْأَمْرِرَبِّهِمْوَقَالُوا۟يَـٰصَـٰلِحُٱئْتِنَابِمَاتَعِدُنَآإِنكُنتَمِنَٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
l-mur'salīnaminakuntaintaʿidunābimāi'tināyāṣāliḥuwaqālūrabbihimamriʿanwaʿatawl-nāqatafaʿaqarū
Then they hamstrungthe she-cameland (were) insolenttowards(the) command(of) their Lordand they saidO SalihBring uswhatyou promise usifyou areofthe Messengers
7:77
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُٱلرَّجْفَةُفَأَصْبَحُوا۟فِىدَارِهِمْجَـٰثِمِينَ
jāthimīnadārihimfīfa-aṣbaḥūl-rajfatufa-akhadhathumu
So seized themthe earthquakethen they becameintheir homesfallen prone
7:78
فَتَوَلَّىٰعَنْهُمْوَقَالَيَـٰقَوْمِلَقَدْأَبْلَغْتُكُمْرِسَالَةَرَبِّىوَنَصَحْتُلَكُمْوَلَـٰكِنلَّاتُحِبُّونَٱلنَّـٰصِحِينَ
l-nāṣiḥīnatuḥibbūnalāwalākinlakumwanaṣaḥturabbīrisālataablaghtukumlaqadyāqawmiwaqālaʿanhumfatawallā
So he turned awayfrom themand he saidO my peopleVerilyI have conveyed to you(the) Message(of) my Lordand [I] advised[to] youbutnotyou likethe advisers
7:79
وَلُوطًاإِذْقَالَلِقَوْمِهِۦٓأَتَأْتُونَٱلْفَـٰحِشَةَمَاسَبَقَكُمبِهَامِنْأَحَدٍۢمِّنَٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīnaminaaḥadinminbihāsabaqakummāl-fāḥishataatatūnaliqawmihiqālaidhwalūṭan
And Lutwhenhe saidto his peopleDo you commit(such) immoralitynothas preceded youthereinanyoneofthe worlds
7:80
إِنَّكُمْلَتَأْتُونَٱلرِّجَالَشَهْوَةًۭمِّندُونِٱلنِّسَآءِ ۚبَلْأَنتُمْقَوْمٌۭمُّسْرِفُونَ
mus'rifūnaqawmunantumball-nisāidūniminshahwatanl-rijālalatatūnainnakum
Indeed, youyou approachthe menlustfullyfrominstead ofthe womenNayyou(are) a people(who) commit excesses
7:81
وَمَاكَانَجَوَابَقَوْمِهِۦٓإِلَّآأَنقَالُوٓا۟أَخْرِجُوهُممِّنقَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖإِنَّهُمْأُنَاسٌۭيَتَطَهَّرُونَ
yataṭahharūnaunāsuninnahumqaryatikumminakhrijūhumqālūanillāqawmihijawābakānawamā
And notwas(the) answer(of) his peopleexceptthatthey saidDrive them outofyour townIndeed, they(are) peoplewho keep themselves pure
7:82
فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُوَأَهْلَهُۥٓإِلَّاٱمْرَأَتَهُۥكَانَتْمِنَٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ
l-ghābirīnaminakānatim'ra-atahuillāwa-ahlahufa-anjaynāhu
So We saved himand his familyexcepthis wifeshe wasofthose who stayed behind
7:83
وَأَمْطَرْنَاعَلَيْهِممَّطَرًۭا ۖفَٱنظُرْكَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
l-muj'rimīnaʿāqibatukānakayfafa-unẓurmaṭaranʿalayhimwa-amṭarnā
And We showeredupon thema rainSo seehowwas(the) end(of) the criminals
7:84
وَإِلَىٰمَدْيَنَأَخَاهُمْشُعَيْبًۭا ۗقَالَيَـٰقَوْمِٱعْبُدُوا۟ٱللَّهَمَالَكُممِّنْإِلَـٰهٍغَيْرُهُۥ ۖقَدْجَآءَتْكُمبَيِّنَةٌۭمِّنرَّبِّكُمْ ۖفَأَوْفُوا۟ٱلْكَيْلَوَٱلْمِيزَانَوَلَاتَبْخَسُوا۟ٱلنَّاسَأَشْيَآءَهُمْوَلَاتُفْسِدُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِبَعْدَإِصْلَـٰحِهَا ۚذَٰلِكُمْخَيْرٌۭلَّكُمْإِنكُنتُممُّؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīnakuntuminlakumkhayrundhālikumiṣ'lāḥihābaʿdal-arḍifītuf'sidūwalāashyāahuml-nāsatabkhasūwalāwal-mīzānal-kaylafa-awfūrabbikumminbayyinatunjāatkumqadghayruhuilāhinminlakummāl-lahauʿ'budūyāqawmiqālashuʿaybanakhāhummadyanawa-ilā
And toMadyanhis brotherShuaibHe saidO my peopleWorshipAllahnotfor youanygodother than HimVerilyhas came to youa clear prooffromyour LordSo give full[the] measureand the weightand (do) notdeprive[the] peoplein their thingsand (do) notcause corruptioninthe earthafterits reformationThat(is) betterfor youifyou arebelievers
7:85
وَلَاتَقْعُدُوا۟بِكُلِّصِرَٰطٍۢتُوعِدُونَوَتَصُدُّونَعَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِمَنْءَامَنَبِهِۦوَتَبْغُونَهَاعِوَجًۭا ۚوَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟إِذْكُنتُمْقَلِيلًۭافَكَثَّرَكُمْ ۖوَٱنظُرُوا۟كَيْفَكَانَعَـٰقِبَةُٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
l-muf'sidīnaʿāqibatukānakayfawa-unẓurūfakatharakumqalīlankuntumidhwa-udh'kurūʿiwajanwatabghūnahābihiāmanamanl-lahisabīliʿanwataṣuddūnatūʿidūnaṣirāṭinbikullitaqʿudūwalā
And (do) notsiton everypaththreateningand hinderingfrom(the) way(of) Allah(those) whobelievein Himand seeking (to make) itcrookedAnd rememberwhenyou werefewand He increased youAnd seehowwas(the) end(of) the corrupters
7:86
وَإِنكَانَطَآئِفَةٌۭمِّنكُمْءَامَنُوا۟بِٱلَّذِىٓأُرْسِلْتُبِهِۦوَطَآئِفَةٌۭلَّمْيُؤْمِنُوا۟فَٱصْبِرُوا۟حَتَّىٰيَحْكُمَٱللَّهُبَيْنَنَا ۚوَهُوَخَيْرُٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ
l-ḥākimīnakhayruwahuwabaynanāl-lahuyaḥkumaḥattāfa-iṣ'birūyu'minūlamwaṭāifatunbihiur'sil'tubi-alladhīāmanūminkumṭāifatunkānawa-in
And if(there) isa groupamong you(who has) believedin that whichI have been sentwith [it]and a groupnotthey believethen be patientuntiljudgesAllahbetween usAnd He(is the) Best(of) [the] Judges
7:87
